Heading to bench
Saric is not starting Friday's preseason game against the Lakers, Khobi Price of The Orange County Register reports.
ANALYSIS
The Kings will tweak their lineup for their preseason finale, and Drew Eubanks will get the nod at center with Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) out.
Oct 15, 2025
Starting preseason game
Saric is part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's preseason game against the Clippers, Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric will get the first shot at replacing Keegan Murray (thumb) in the starting lineup, slotting in at Murray's typical power forward spot. With Murray expected to miss at least the first few weeks of the regular season, Saric will seemingly have the opportunity to claim the role.
Oct 11, 2025
Posts 14 points in 14 minutes
Saric recorded 14 points (4-5 FG, 2-2 FT, 4-4 3Pt) over 14 minutes during Friday's 124-123 preseason loss to the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Saric did nothing under the basket in the narrow loss, but he flashed his perimeter skills with four drained three-pointers. The veteran center has often shown off his ability to sink the deep ball throughout his career, but the Kings need him to serve as a backup to Domantas Sabonis, and he'll need to post a higher rebound total on a regular basis to overtake Drew Eubanks, who seems to have a firm handle on the role. After a disappointing stint with the Nuggets last season, his chances for quality playing time aren't much better in Sacramento.
Jul 1, 2025
Traded to Sacramento
The Nuggets traded Saric to the Kings on Tuesday in exchange for Jonas Valanciunas, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
ANALYSIS
Sacramento needed some depth at forward after losing Jake LaRavia in free agency, but this move is likely just to reduce salary for the 2025-26 season. The Kings will become Saric's seventh NBA team, as he has become quite the journeyman. He was used sparingly in Denver during the 2024-25 season, appearing in 16 regular-season contests with averages of 3.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 13.1 minutes per game.
Jan 16, 2025
Solid outing off bench
Saric recorded eight points (3-4 FG, 2-4 FT), five assists and four boards in 19 minutes during Wednesday's 128-108 loss to the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
With Nikola Jokic (elbow) sidelined, Saric put together a well-rounded performance, matching his season-high assist total while he was at it. Since DeAndre Jordan, who got the spot start, struggled, there's a chance Saric could get the shoulder-tap if Jokic continues to miss time. His next opportunity to prove his worth comes Friday against the Heat.
Jan 8, 2025
Goes scoreless in spot start
Saric provided zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), four assists, one rebound and one block across 17 minutes in Tuesday's 118-106 loss to the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
With Nikola Jokic (illness) sitting out, Saric moved into his spot in the starting five in what was his first game action since Nov. 23. Saric had previously missed some time in December with a sprained ankle, but the 30-year-old wasn't viewed as a rotation player by that point in the season, with DeAndre Jordan having taking control of the backup center job. Moving forward, Saric's opportunities are likely going to be limited to games in which Jokic is out, as Saric is more capable of replicating Jokic's passing and floor-spacing ability than the other reserve centers on the roster (Jordan, Zeke Nnaji and PJ Hall). If Jokic is able to move past the illness ahead of Wednesday's game against the Clippers, Saric will likely move from the starting lineup to back outside of the rotation.
Jan 7, 2025
Starting sans Jokic
Saric will enter the starting lineup in Tuesday's game against the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
The 30-year-old center will enter the starting five with Nikola Jokic (illness) sidelined for Tuesday's marquee matchup. Saric hasn't appeared in an NBA game since Nov. 23, and he has averaged 3.4 points and 3.5 rebounds across 13.6 minutes per game in 10 regular-season appearances (three starts).
Dec 23, 2024
Cleared Monday
Saric (ankle) is available to face the Suns on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Saric missed five games with a sprained left ankle before being a healthy scratch Sunday. He'll be available once again Monday, but he isn't guaranteed to see the floor.
Dec 23, 2024
Probable against Suns
Saric (ankle) is probable against the Suns on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Saric was available to play Sunday against the Pelicans, but he never saw the floor after a lengthy injury absence -- he last appeared in a game on Nov. 23. If he suits up Monday, he'll likely have a limited role at best.
Dec 22, 2024
Available Sunday against NOLA
Saric (ankle) is available to play against the Pelicans on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Saric has missed the Nuggets' last 10 games, partially due to a left ankle sprain. He was initially listed as doubtful for Sunday's game, but he will be available off Denver's bench, though he's unlikely to see much playing time behind Nikola Jokic, DeAndre Jordan and Zeke Nnaji.
Dec 21, 2024
Doubtful to play Sunday
Saric (ankle) is doubtful to play Saturday against the Pelicans on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Saric has struggled to see consistent minutes as the backup center behind Nikola Jokic, but his injury issues haven't helped him, either. He's missed the last five games with a sprained left ankle, and the doubtful tag suggests he's unlikely to suit up Sunday. If that's the case, then DeAndre Jordan and Zeke Nnaji should continue to see steady run in the frontcourt behind Jokic,
Dec 19, 2024
Idle Thursday
Saric (ankle) won't play in Thursday's game against Portland.
ANALYSIS
Saric's absence streak extends to five games Thursday as he continues to tend to a sprained left ankle. Saric plays a minimal role when the Nuggets are at full health, so his absence shouldn't have any fantasy impact. His next chance to play will come Sunday at New Orleans -- the first leg of a back-to-back.
Dec 15, 2024
Still out
Saric (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Saric will miss a fourth straight game due to a sprained left ankle. However, he'd fallen out of the rotation before the injury cropped up, so his absence hasn't impacted fantasy hoops.
Dec 12, 2024
Remains out for Friday
Saric (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Saric will miss a third consecutive outing while he deals with a sprained left ankle. The big man has fallen out of the rotation as of late, and he was held out of five consecutive games via coach's decision before picking up the ankle injury.
Dec 8, 2024
Now out Sunday
Saric (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Saric will miss a second straight game due to an ankle injury. However, he wasn't part of the rotation before landing on the injury report, drawing five straight DNPs due to coach's decision.
Dec 8, 2024
Iffy for Sunday
Saric (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Saric may miss a second straight game due to an ankle injury. However, he wasn't part of the rotation before landing on the injury report, drawing five straight DNPs due to coach's decision.
Dec 7, 2024
Out vs. Wizards
Saric (ankle) is out for Saturday's game against the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Saric was a DNP-CD in his last five games, but now he misses Saturday's contest with an ankle injury. Regardless of whether he returns to hardwood for the second leg of this back-to-back set in Sunday's matchup against the Hawks, he's not going to see lots of minutes off the bench.
Dec 6, 2024
Iffy for Saturday vs. Washington
Saric (ankle) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Saric has fallen out of the rotation and is in jeopardy of missing a sixth consecutive matchup. The 30-year-old big man is dealing with a left ankle sprain, and he hasn't hit the double-digit mark in minutes since Nov. 19 (18 minutes).
Nov 22, 2024
Returns to bench
Saric won't start in Friday's game against the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Saric will head to the bench following the return of Nikola Jokic. Saric is averaging 1.0 points and 1.6 rebounds per game off the bench this season in five appearances.
Nov 18, 2024
Double-doubles in loss Sunday
Saric provided 10 points (4-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt), 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals across 32 minutes during Sunday's 105-90 loss to the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Saric has been starting in the absence of Nikola Jokic (personal). While it's unthinkable to imagine Saric replicating the numbers of the three-time MVP winner, he's also far from being a liability on either end of the court. As long as he remains in a starting role, Saric should continue to have a decent upside as a streaming option in most formats.
Nov 15, 2024
Starting Friday
Saric is in the Nuggets' starting lineup for Friday's game against the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Despite being a healthy DNP over the Nuggets' last five games, Saric will make his first start of the 2024-25 regular season Friday due to Nikola Jokic (personal) being sidelined. Saric should see some more playing time with both Jokic and Aaron Gordon (calf) not playing.
Oct 29, 2024
Held scoreless
Saric chipped in zero points (0-3 FG), one rebound and one assist across five minutes during Monday's 127-125 overtime win over the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Three games into the season, it's been evidently clear that Saric is going to have a limited role at best for Denver. He's averaging 9.0 minutes per contest and has a total of two points to his name thus far.
Jul 6, 2024
Signs with Nuggets
Saric has signed a two-year, $10.6 million deal with the Nuggets, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric will add some depth in the frontcourt for the Nuggets, but he's likely to play off the bench most of the time. He averaged 8.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists across 17.2 minutes over 64 regular-season games with the Warriors last season.
Jul 2, 2024
Triple-double versus Slovenia
Saric accumulated 19 points (7-14 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 10 rebounds and 10 assists across 32 minutes in Croatia's 108-92 win over Slovenia on Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Saric is currently an unrestricted free agent, and his play against Slovenia bodes well for his stock in free agency. The 30-year-old proved his worth as a passer and rebounder, as well as his ability to play either position down low for whatever club he goes to next. Saric averaged 8.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists across 17.2 minutes with the Warriors last season.
Apr 12, 2024
Cleared to play
Saric (knee) is available Friday against New Orleans, Kendra Andrews of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric hasn't been much of a factor within Golden State's rotation of late, but he'll be active if needed. He's appeared in one game since March 20.
Apr 12, 2024
Still dealing with knee pain
Saric (knee) is probable for Friday's game against the Pelicans due to right knee lateral joint pain.
ANALYSIS
Saric made his first appearance since March 20 on Thursday, playing six minutes during a win over Portland. He'll likely be available for the second half of Golden State's back-to-back set, but Saric isn't guaranteed playing time.
Apr 12, 2024
Gets six minutes in return
Saric (knee) finished with zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and one steal in six minutes Thursday in the Warriors' 100-92 win over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Saric made his first appearance since March 20 after missing each of Golden State's previous seven games with right knee lateral joint pain. He checked into the game with 5:35 remaining in the second quarter and played the rest of the half, but Saric wasn't summoned from the bench at any point in the second half. Saric will likely drop out of the rotation if Draymond Green (knee) is able to return for the second leg of the Warriors' back-to-back set Friday versus the Pelicans.
Apr 11, 2024
Available against Portland
Saric (knee) is available for Thursday's game against Portland.
ANALYSIS
Saric has been sidelined since March 20, but the veteran forward could potentially see a handful of minutes with Draymond Green resting a minor knee issue.
Apr 11, 2024
Now expected to play Thursday
Saric (knee) is probable for Thursday's game versus the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Saric has been upgraded from questionable to probable Thursday despite dealing with right knee lateral joint line pain. With Draymond Green (knee) out, Saric could receive increased playing time against Portland.
Apr 10, 2024
Questionable for Thursday
Saric (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game versus the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Saric hasn't played since March 20 as he continues to deal with right knee soreness. If the 29-year-old forward is ruled out, it won't impact Golden State's rotation.
Apr 8, 2024
Remains sidelined
Saric (knee) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Saric hasn't played since March 20 and hasn't seen double-digit minutes since March 3. His continued absence shouldn't impact the rotation, as Trayce Jackson-Davis has cemented himself as the top center on Golden State's roster over the last two months.
Apr 6, 2024
Ruled out against Jazz
Saric (knee) will not play against the Jazz on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Saric will miss his sixth game in a row Sunday, and the Warriors continue to rule him out a day in advance which isn't a great sign.
Apr 5, 2024
Remains out Friday
Saric (knee) won't play in Friday's game versus the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Saric's absence streak will extend to five games Friday while dealing with a right knee injury. His next chance to suit up is Sunday's matchup with Utah.
Apr 4, 2024
Ruled out against Houston
Saric (knee) won't play in Thursday's game versus the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Despite previously being left off the injury report, Saric will miss his fourth straight contest Thursday due to right knee lateral joint pain. However, Saric's continued absence won't affect Golden State's rotation.
Apr 3, 2024
Not listed on injury report
Saric (knee) isn't listed on Golden State's injury report ahead of Thursday's game against the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Saric missed three straight games due to a knee injury but is cleared to play Thursday. However, the veteran has been an inconsistent part of the Warriors' rotation after the emergence of Trayce Jackson-Davis.
Apr 1, 2024
Remains out Tuesday
Saric (knee) won't play Tuesday against Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Saric will miss his third straight matchup due to a right knee injury, but his continued absence shouldn't be of much concern given he's on the outside of the rotation looking in. The 29-year-old's next opportunity to suit up will arrive Thursday in Houston.
Mar 30, 2024
Out again Sunday
Saric (knee) will not play Sunday against the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Saric will miss his second game in a row Sunday, and it's not a good sign if he's getting ruled out a day in advance. Prior to this injury, Saric was on the outskirts of the rotation.
Mar 29, 2024
Won't play against Charlotte
Saric (knee) is out for Friday's game versus the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Saric has been downgraded from questionable to out Friday while dealing with right knee soreness. His next chance to suit up is Sunday's matchup with San Antonio.
Mar 28, 2024
Questionable for Friday
Saric is questionable for Friday's game in Charlotte due to right knee soreness.
ANALYSIS
Saric is a negligible part of the Warriors' rotation, so whether he's cleared for Friday's game won't make much of an impact in fantasy hoops. Check back for another update following Friday's shootaround.
Mar 10, 2024
Muted role again Saturday
Saric accumulated two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) in three minutes during Saturday's 126-113 loss to the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Saric played just three minutes in the loss, continuing his recent struggles. He has played fewer than six minutes in three of the past four games, to the point where he cannot be considered an every-night part of the rotation. Subsequently, he can be avoided in all fantasy formats for the time being.
Mar 1, 2024
Used sparingly in victory
Saric produced two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and two assists in six minutes during Friday's 120-105 victory over the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Saric barely saw the floor in the win, logging just six minutes. He has failed to play more than 15 minutes in nine of the past 10 games, producing very little in terms of fantasy value. At this stage, even those in deeper formats should be looking for a player with a clearer path to minutes.
Feb 6, 2024
Barely plays Monday
Saric (illness) logged four minutes and finished with three points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and one steal in Monday's 109-98 win over the Nets.
ANALYSIS
In his return from a two-game absence due to the illness, Saric played the first 4:29 of the second quarter but didn't check back into the game as the Warriors relied on starters Jonathan Kuminga and Draymond Green and reserves Kevon Looney and Gui Santos as their primary frontcourt options. Though he could eventually poach Santos' playing time and/or supplant Looney as Green's top backup, Saric's minutes ceiling still looks to be limited given that the Warriors are expected to get Andrew Wiggins (ankle) back in action soon.
Feb 5, 2024
Will suit up Monday
Saric (illness) is available for Monday's game against the Nets.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Saric has been upgraded from probable to available and will return to action following a two-game absence. With Andrew Wiggins (ankle) likely out, there may be extra minutes in the frontcourt available, but Saric has played 20 minutes or fewer in four straight appearances (two starts).
Feb 4, 2024
Upgraded to probable
Saric (illness) is probable to play Monday versus Brooklyn.
ANALYSIS
Saric is amid a two-game absence due to illness, but he appears to be on the mend in advance of Monday's contest. Lester Quinones and Kevon Looney would see lessened roles if Saric returns, but Andrew Wiggins dealing with a foot sprain puts the Warriors' rotation in flux.
Feb 3, 2024
Absence to continue Saturday
Saric (illness) will not play Saturday versus Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Saric will miss his second consecutive game due to a general illness. Draymond Green will continue being incredibly busy in the frontcourt, while Kevon Looney is a good positional matchup versus Atlanta and Trayce Jackson-Davis should see an uptick in usage as well.
Feb 1, 2024
Won't play against Memphis
Saric is out for Friday's game versus the Grizzlies due to a general illness.
ANALYSIS
Saric will miss his first game of the season Friday due to a non-COVID illness. His next chance to suit up is Saturday's matchup with Atlanta.
Jan 27, 2024
Retreats to bench
Saric will come off the bench in Saturday's game against the Lakers, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric had started in five consecutive games, but he will return to a bench role with Jonathan Kuminga and Draymond Green entering the starting lineup. Saric has scored in double figures in each his last five games, and he will look to continue his solid play in a different role.
Jan 15, 2024
Sticks in starting lineup
Saric will remain in the starting lineup Monday versus Memphis, Shayna Rubin of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
ANALYSIS
Despite Draymond Green's return from suspension, Saric will remain in the starting lineup next to Kevon Looney. Given Green and Jonathan Kuminga figure to see plenty of work as reserves, Saric's role may be somewhat limited despite the starting designation.
Jan 12, 2024
Gets starting nod
Saric will start at power forward in Friday's tilt against the Bulls, Shayna Rubin of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric will replace Jonathan Kuminga in the starting lineup. It is unclear what prompted head coach Steve Kerr to make the switch. The veteran big man has averaged 10.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists across 25.6 minutes in four starts this season.
Jan 5, 2024
Puts up 13/7/6 line in defeat
Saric notched 13 points (5-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and one steal in 23 minutes during Thursday's 130-127 loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Saric saw his most playing time in nearly a month and capitalized with one of his better all-around efforts of the campaign. His six assists Thursday were a season-high mark, and his 13 points came on a very efficient 5-for-7 shooting line. Saric has shown the ability to be a valuable bench contributor from time to time this season, and his per-game averages of 10.3 points and 5.8 boards are both on pace for his highest marks since the 2019-20 campaign. However, his production and minutes haven't been consistent enough to make him a must-roster player in most fantasy formats.
Jan 3, 2024
Plays only 14 minutes
Saric chipped in two points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist in 14 minutes during Tuesday's 121-115 victory over the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Saric's 14 minutes ties his second-lowest mark of the season. With Draymond Green suspended indefinitely, Trayce Jackson-Davis has been elevated to a starting role, leaving Saric and Kevon Looney to battle for backup minutes. From Nov. 1 through Dec. 28, Saric averaged 11.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 20.9 minutes per game, but he's totaled just five points, 12 rebounds and five assists in 29 minutes over his last two appearances. Barring another change, Saric is likely a drop candidate in standard leagues.
Dec 13, 2023
Helps lead productive bench unit
Saric scored 15 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and added four rebounds and one assist across 20 minutes in Tuesday's 119-116 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
With Draymond Green getting ejected from the contest midway through the third quarter and with the struggling Andrew Wiggins (season-low 15 minutes) getting phased out in the final quarter, head coach Steve Kerr leaned heavily on second-unit players like Saric, Jonathan Kuminga, Chris Paul, Brandin Podziemski and Moses Moody down the stretch. Saric, Kuminga, Podziemski and Paul all reached double figures in the scoring column, and all four players should see their short-term outlooks improve in the likely event that Green faces a suspension after his third ejection of the season. Even though he continues to come off the bench, Saric has been getting more playing time at center of late than starter Kevon Looney. Saric is averaging 13.0 points, 7.3 boards, 2.0 triples and 1.3 assists in 21.0 minutes in his three games since moving to the bench, while Looney has been limited to 16 minutes or fewer in each of those contests.
Dec 8, 2023
Coming off bench Friday
Saric isn't in the starting five for Friday's game versus the Thunder, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric will come off the bench for the second straight game Friday, as Kevon Looney has reclaimed his starting role. Saric is averaging 14.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 22.4 minutes across his previous five appearances coming off the bench.
Dec 2, 2023
Quiet in starting lineup
Saric contributed six points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists and one steal over 20 minutes during Saturday's 113-112 loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Saric replaced Kevon Looney in the starting lineup Saturday in order to get more floor spacing out there, although the move didn't pay off with the forward missing both his three-point attempts. Despite the dud, Saric was coming off a really strong November with averages of 12.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.9 three-pointers, so he'll be looking to quickly get back on track.
Dec 2, 2023
Starting Saturday
Saric is starting at center in Saturday's matchup against the Clippers, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Head coach Steve Kerr has opted to shake up the starting lineup in favor of spreading the floor by starting Saric over Kevon Looney. The former is averaging 12.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists across 27.5 minutes in three starts this season.
Dec 1, 2023
Maintains solid production
Saric contributed 13 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one steal in 27 minutes during Thursday's 120-114 victory over the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Saric has scored double figures in eight of his last nine appearances (two starts). During that stretch, he's averaged 14.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 24.3 minutes per game. Despite Kevon Looney starting, Saric is the more appealing fantasy option in Golden State's frontcourt, even with Draymond Green back from his five-game suspension.
Nov 25, 2023
Pops for 20 off bench
Saric logged 20 points (7-11 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and two steals over 26 minutes off the bench during Friday's 118-112 win over San Antonio.
ANALYSIS
With Draymond Green serving the final game of his latest suspension, Saric put together his best all-around performance of the season, although it was Moses Moody who slid into the starting five in Green's place. Saric has scored in double digits in six of the last seven games while spotting in and out of the starting lineup, averaging 15.0 points, 6.1 boards, 2.9 assists, 2.1 threes and 1.3 steals over that stretch. His court time had been creeping up even before Green was sidelined, so this recent surge in production may not be due to dry up -- Saric averaged 18.8 minutes through the first eight contests of the season, but that numbers has jumped up to 24.1 in nine games since.
Nov 21, 2023
Leads bench with 18 points
Saric contributed 18 points (5-10 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 26 minutes during Monday's 121-116 win over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Saric lacks a dependable floor, but he's been indispensable when called upon to start, or play extended minutes if the starters are struggling. He's a full-time platoon with Kevon Looney, but his mid-range shot allows him to extend beyond the paint and inflict damage as a scorer.
Nov 18, 2023
Heads back to bench Saturday
Saric is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Thunder, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric will return to the bench in favor of Kevon Looney, who recorded a double-double while playing with the second unit against OKC on Thursday. Saric is averaging 8.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game when playing off the bench in 2023-24.
Nov 15, 2023
Leads starters in scoring in defeat
Saric finished Tuesday's 104-101 loss to Minnesota with 21 points (6-15 FG, 3-11 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, four assists and two steals over 32 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Saric earned the start after coming off the bench the last two games, leading all starters in scoring while finishing as one of two Warriors with 20 or more points in a home loss. Saric tallied his highest scoring total of the season, scoring at least 20 points in two games this year.
Nov 14, 2023
Returns to starting unit
Saric is in the starting five for Tuesday's game versus the Timberwolves, Kendra Andrews of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After coming off the bench in Golden State's previous two games, Saric will replace Kevon Looney in the starting lineup Tuesday. Saric recorded four points, eight rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes during his only other start this season.
Nov 8, 2023
Gets starting nod
Saric is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Saric will replace Draymond Green (personal) in the starting five Wednesday. Saric is averaging 8.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 18.8 minutes across his eight appearances this season.
Nov 7, 2023
Puts up 12 points off bench
Saric supplied 12 points (4-8 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one steal across 21 minutes during Monday's 120-109 win over Detroit.
ANALYSIS
Saric has played off the bench in each of the Warriors' eight contests so far, but he's trending up after putting up double-digit points in three of his last four appearances. His chances of landing a starting role are not realistic, however. Hence, fantasy managers who are looking to add Saric to their rosters need to know the nature of his role, which is probably going to translate into quite a few ups and downs. The scoring potential is there, though.
Nov 4, 2023
Stars on second unit once again
Saric scored 20 points (6-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and added six rebounds, three assists and one steal across 20 minutes in Friday's 141-139 win over the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Saric has seen between 19 and 21 minutes in each of the Warriors' last four games, and while that level of playing time usually isn't conducive to producing useful fantasy lines, the veteran big man has been able to make it work. He's averaging 11.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.3 three-pointers over those four contests, but Saric's excellent run of production won't necessarily inspire head coach Steve Kerr to move him into the starting five in place of Kevon Looney. Though Looney was limited to just 11 minutes Friday, he had been dealing with foul trouble, and the Warriors seem to value his defensive versatility and ability to attack the glass while handling a low-usage role alongside the likes of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins.
Nov 2, 2023
Renews synergy with Paul
Saric logged 15 points (6-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt), six rebounds and two assists over 20 minutes during Wednesday's 102-101 win over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Saric and Chris Paul have a connection from their shared time in Phoenix, and the familiarity was obvious when both players were on the floor. Saric's success was largely due to Paul's ability to find him open. Saric will surprise you with a drained three-pointer here and there, but his bread and butter is in the rebound category.
Nov 1, 2023
Cleared for action
Saric (hip) will play in Wednesday's game against the Kings, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric was listed as probable for the contest with a bruised right hip, but he'll suit up for the contest as expected. He's averaging 5.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 blocks across 19.0 minutes per game.
Oct 31, 2023
Deemed probable Wednesday
Saric (hip contusion) is probable to play Wednesday against Sacramento, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric has played a steady two-way role through Golden State's first four contests. His appearance on Tuesday's injury report is the first mention of his hip contusion, which likely makes it a day-to-day issue.
Oct 30, 2023
Mixed results
Saric provided four points (1-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and one block across 21 minutes during Sunday's 106-95 victory over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Even with Draymond Green (ankle) back in action, Saric remained a key part of Golden State's rotation. Saric's production hasn't stood out yet, averaging just 5.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 blocks, but he is playing 18.3 minutes per game and appears to be developing a connection with Chris Paul on the second unit. Saric hasn't played 20-plus minutes per game since 2019-20 when he was with Phoenix.
Jul 8, 2023
Inks deal with Golden State
The Warriors signed Saric to a one-year deal Saturday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric will join his third team in two seasons. Across 57 games for the Thunder and Phoenix in 2022-23, Saric averaged 6.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 14.1 minutes. The 29-year-old forward will likely compete for a depth role in the Warriors' frontcourt.
Apr 7, 2023
Posts double-double as reserve
Saric totaled 14 points (5-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal across 23 minutes during Thursday's 114-98 victory over the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Saric posted his first double-double since Feb. 3 against the Celtics, a contest he started and played 30 minutes in. The veteran big man also tied his season high with two blocks, a mark he hasn't reached since Dec. 2.
Apr 5, 2023
Plays 19 minutes in loss
Saric finished Tuesday's 136-125 loss to the Warriors with five points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds and one steal across 19 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Saric has worked his way back into the rotation over the past two games, totaling 13 points, six rebounds, one assist and one steal over 33 minutes. The veteran's role remains too limited to make much of a fantasy impact, but his elevated playing time meant fewer minutes for Jaylin Williams.
Mar 8, 2023
Efficient effort versus Warriors
Saric contributed 14 points (6-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 15 minutes during Tuesday's 137-128 victory over the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Saric finished in double figures in the scoring column for the fourth time in the last five games after failing to reach double digits in the three games prior to that. Even more impressive is he continues to reach the threshold on limited playing time, logging 15 or fewer minutes in each of the last four tilts. Saric should continue to hoist shots frequently when he leaves the bench, but he's connecting on 67.6 percent of his shots over his recent hot streak, so there's likely some regression in the scoring column on the way unless his playing time picks up.
Mar 1, 2023
Drops season-high 21 points
Saric closed Tuesday's 123-117 loss to the Kings with 21 points (7-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), eight rebounds and two assists in 27 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Saric was terrific in Tuesday's loss, scoring a season-high 21 points off the bench. As with just about every Thunder player, his role is unpredictable from one night to the next, meaning a performance like this is hard to get behind. There is no reason to be adding him based on this effort alone, although he is a player to watch, should he somehow carve out a consistent role down the stretch.
Feb 16, 2023
Turns in strong per-minute numbers
Saric delivered 12 points (4-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and one steal across 14 minutes in Wednesday's 133-96 win over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Making his Thunder debut, Saric was able to make most of his modest bench role, but Oklahoma City's ever-changing frontcourt rotation makes it tough to discern whether the veteran big man will have the opportunity to consistently replicate this sort of performance. Saric's role will likely be worth tracking over the next handful of games before a firmer determination can be made regarding whether he's a reliable pickup in 14-team leagues or deeper.
Feb 13, 2023
Left off injury report
Saric isn't listed on the Thunder's injury report ahead of Monday's game agains the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
After being acquired from the Suns on Thursday, Saric sat out the Thunder's 138-129 win over the Trail Blazers on Friday. Now that Saric has gotten the chance to practice with his new squad at least once, he could be incorporated in the rotation Monday in his Thunder debut. Even if he's used off the bench, Saric likely won't be in line for significant minutes.
Feb 10, 2023
Won't play Friday
Saric (trade pending) is out for Friday's game versus Portland, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric was traded to the Thunder in exchange for Darius Bazley and will compete for bench minutes. His next chance to make his Oklahoma City debut is Monday's matchup with the Pelicans.
Feb 9, 2023
Dealt to Oklahoma City
The Suns traded Saric to the Thunder for Darius Bazley and a second-round pick, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric averaged 5.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 14.4 minutes across 37 games for the Suns this season. His departure will likely open up playing time for Jock Landale and Bismack Biyombo in Phoenix. Saric will likely compete for rotation minutes in the Thunder's bench unit.
Feb 4, 2023
Back to bench Saturday
Saric is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Saric accumulated 14 points (5-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt), 13 rebounds and three assists across 30 minutes during Friday's 106-94 victory over the Celtics, but he heads back to the bench with Cameron Johnson (knee) being available and in the starting unit. Saric is averaging 4.4 points and 3.5 rebounds across 11.1 minutes per game when coming off the bench this season.
Feb 4, 2023
Records double-double Friday
Saric accumulated 14 points (5-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt), 13 rebounds and three assists across 30 minutes during Friday's 106-94 victory over the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Saric got the starting nod to replace Cameron Johnson (knee), and while he wasn't efficient from the field, he still ended as one of Phoenix's best players while also notching his first double-double of the campaign. The veteran has scored in double digits in five of his last seven outings, and he could remain in the starting lineup if Johnson can't go against the Pistons on Saturday in the second half of a back-to-back set.
Feb 3, 2023
Gets starting nod
Saric is in the starting five for Friday's game versus the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Saric will replace Cameron Johnson (knee) in the starting lineup Friday. The 28-year-old big man is averaging 8.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 20.1 minutes across his previous 11 starts this season.
Jan 25, 2023
Impresses off bench
Saric ended with 19 points (6-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one block over 24 minutes during Tuesday's 128-97 win over the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Saric led the Phoenix bench with 19 points which the help of three triples on four tries. He also registered eight rebounds for a second straight game. Saric has notably received a heavier workload in each of his last two contests, logging 21 and 24 minutes, respectively, which is well above his season average of 13.8 minutes per matchup.
Jan 23, 2023
Produces in move to bench
Saric finished with 14 points (4-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-7 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and three steals across 21 minutes in Sunday's 112-110 win over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
After starting in each of the past seven games, Saric was moved to the bench with Chris Paul (hip) and Cameron Johnson (rest) returning to the lineup. Considering Saric had received just eight minutes in both of the Suns' past two contests, he looked like a logical candidate to move out of the rotation entirely, but he instead saw an uptick in playing time while Duane Washington (zero minutes) and Ish Wainwright (three minutes) were essentially cut out of Phoenix's second unit. Based on how he performed Sunday, Saric may have extended his leash in head coach Monty Williams' rotation, but the 28-year-old still appears at risk of losing playing time once players like Deandre Ayton (illness), Devin Booker (groin), Landry Shamet (foot) and Cameron Payne (foot) make their returns from injury.
Jan 17, 2023
Produces across board as starter
Saric finished with 12 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and five assists across 23 minutes in Monday's 136-106 loss to the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Though he was a minus-17 during his time on the court, Saric contributed a decent stat line in the blowout loss. While starting in each of his last six appearances, Saric has posted averages of 10.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.5 three-pointers and 1.0 steals in 23.7 minutes per game while shooting 52.3 percent from the floor, numbers that give him a degree of utility in 14-team leagues or deeper. However, as soon as the Suns get one or two of their injured rotation players back in the fold -- Cameron Johnson (knee) and Chris Paul (hip) appear to be the closest to returning -- Saric is a prime candidate to lose out on playing time.
Jan 11, 2023
Nears double-double in win
Saric racked up 19 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Tuesday's 125-113 victory over Golden State.
ANALYSIS
Saric was limited to three points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals in Sunday's start against the Cavaliers despite playing 26 minutes, but he was much more efficient Tuesday and came within one rebound of his first double-double of the season. He's played double-digit minutes in four of his last five appearances and has averaged 8.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 20.8 minutes per game during that time.
Jan 8, 2023
Gets starting nod
Saric is in the starting lineup for Sunday's game versus the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Saric will start alongside Deandre Ayton as the Suns opt to go big with Chris Paul (hip) out. The 28-year-old big man is averaging 8.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 20.5 minutes across his four previous starts.
Jan 6, 2023
Back to bench Friday
Saric isn't starting Friday's game against the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Saric drew the start over Torrey Craig on Wednesday, but the two forwards will revert back to their usual roles Friday. Across 17 games as a reserve, Saric has averaged 2.6 points and 2.5 rebounds in 8.8 minutes.
Jan 4, 2023
Gets another start Wednesday
Saric will start Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Saric will get the nod over Torrey Craig, who'd started 27 straight appearances. Over his past three starts this season, Saric averaged 8.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 21.0 minutes per game.
Dec 13, 2022
Returns to bench Tuesday
Saric isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's matchup with the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Landry Shamet will replace Dario Saric in the starting five Tuesday. Saric posted five points, three rebounds and three assists in 21 minutes during his third start of the season Sunday.
Dec 11, 2022
Starting Sunday
Saric will be part of the Suns' starting five for their Sunday matchup against the Pelicans, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric has had the worst season of his career so far, posting career lows in points, rebounds and minutes. However, he'll get a chance to make an impact Sunday where he'll be tasked with defending Zion Williamson.
Dec 11, 2022
Starting in place of Booker
Suns head coach Monty Williams said Saric will start Sunday's game against the Pelicans, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric will presumably slot in at power forward, while Torrey Craig joins Mikal Bridges on the wing in the absence of Devin Booker (hamstring). Don't expect Saric to directly absorb Bridges' season average of 35.4 minutes per game -- that playing time will likely be split among a collection of players that includes Saric, Damion Lee, Josh Okogie and Landry Shamet.
Dec 4, 2022
Posts season high in scoring
Saric recorded 17 points (6-8 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and two assists over 21 minutes during Sunday's 133-95 win over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Saric was one of six Suns players to reach double figures in scoring in Sunday's win, setting a season high in scoring while connecting on a season-best mark from three. Saric has scored five or more points on three occasions this year.
Dec 2, 2022
Draws start
Saric will start at power forward in Friday's game against the Rockets, Gerald Bourguet of GoPHNX.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric will replace Torrey Craig (groin) in the starting lineup. His playing time has been limited this season, as he has actually been a DNP (coach's decision) the previous six games. However, he figures to see a regular rotational role as a starter Friday and will look to take advantage of the opportunity.
Nov 19, 2022
Double-digit minutes
Saric produced four points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and one assist in 13 minutes during Friday's 134-133 loss to Utah.
ANALYSIS
Saric got some decent rebounding numbers in his limited time on the court Friday night. Unfortunately, he just hasn't been able to carve out a large enough rotation spot this season, even with Cameron Johnson (meniscus) missing time. With Torrey Craig playing as well as he is, look for these minimal minutes to continue for the Croatian forward.
Oct 14, 2022
Returns to practice
Saric (personal) participated in Friday's practice session, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric missed Wednesday's preseason finale due to the birth of his new child, but it appears he's back with the team and should be available to begin the regular season. The forward suffered a torn ACL last July that caused him to miss the 2021-22 season, but he should be a factor in Phoenix's frontcourt rotation going forward behind starters Cameron Johnson (thumb) and Deandre Ayton (rest).
Oct 11, 2022
Won't play Wednesday
Saric won't play in Wednesday's preseason game against the Kings due to personal reasons, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric will sit out the last preseason game for the Suns to tend to a personal issue. Barring any major setback, the forward will likely be able to return in time for the regular season opener Wednesday against the Mavericks.
Aug 29, 2022
Appears healthy playing overseas
Saric played 19 minutes for the Croatian National Team during EuroBasket pre-qualifiers on Sunday, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right meniscus in May after missing the entire 2021-22 campaign due to a torn ACL suffered in Game 1 of the 2021 NBA Finals. It's an extremely encouraging sign to see the 28-year-old back on the court in live action, and he should be full go for the Suns during training camp. Per Olson, the veteran forward tallied 13 points, seven rebounds, two assists and one steal across 19 minutes during the contest.
Jul 9, 2022
Progresses to contact work
Saric (knee) has progressed in his recovery and is doing contact work against coaches, Gerald Bourguet of gophnx.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right meniscus two months ago after missing all of last season due to a torn ACL suffered in Game 1 of the 2021 NBA Finals. His hope is to be ready for training camp, and there's a chance he sees an elevated role next season based on what happens with Deandre Ayton's free agency. In 2020-21, Saric saw 17.4 minutes per game and averaged 8.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
May 5, 2022
Underwent successful procedure
Saric underwent a successful procedure on his meniscus and he will remain out indefinitely, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
After suffering a torn ACL in his right knee in the first quarter of Game 1 of the NBA Finals last season, Saric finally underwent an arthroscopic procedure. The forward will continue to rehab and is out indefinitely. Nothing will change for the Suns as they'll continue to rely heavily on Cameron Johnson and Jae Crowder for production at the four in their 2022 playoff run.
Jul 7, 2021
Tears ACL
Saric suffered a torn ACL in his right knee during the first quarter of Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric appeared to injure his knee after a jump shot during the first quarter and never returned to Game 1 of the Finals. It is now being reported that he sustained an ACL tear and will be sidelined indefinitely. It is likely that Frank Kaminsky will see some backup center minutes during the remainder of the Finals, but the Suns may also opt to play small with Cameron Johnson and Torrey Craig.
Jul 6, 2021
Won't return Tuesday
Saric (knee) is out for the remainder of Tuesday's Game 1 against the Bucks, Malika Andrews of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After a jump stop, Saric injured his right knee and limped back to the locker room during the first quarter. After being evaluated by team doctors, it's been determined that he won't return. In his absence, Frank Kaminsky should see backup center minutes.
Jul 6, 2021
Heads to locker room
Saric went to the locker room with a right knee injury during the first quarter of Tuesday's Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Bucks, per the ESPN broadcast.
ANALYSIS
Saric limped to the locker room immediately after injuring the leg. He should tentatively be considered questionable to return.
May 17, 2021
Closes regular season well
Saric scored 13 points (6-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt) to go along with four rebounds, four assists and two steals across 27 minutes in Sunday's win the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Saric drew his third consecutive start and saw his minutes increase with the Suns resting some of their key players. His production wasn't all that notable, though he did close the season with at least one steal in three consecutive games. Saric averaged 17.4 minutes per game primarily backing up Deandre Ayton throughout the regular season, and he is likely to draw a similar role in the postseason.
May 15, 2021
Notches 13 points in relief
Saric compiled 13 points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-7 FT), six rebounds, two steals and an assist across 18 minutes in Saturday's 140-103 win over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Saric played fine in limited action, but he was soundly out-rebounded by Torrey Craig, who managed nine rebounds in only 18 minutes on the floor. Ayton will likely sit for the season finale, so Saric will draw the start, but Craig and Frank Kaminsky will also see significant frontcourt action.
May 13, 2021
Starting Thursday
Saric will start Thursday's game against Portland, Gerald Bourquet of FanSided.com reports.
ANALYSIS
With Deandre Ayton (knee) on the sidelines, Saric will slide in for his second start of the season. In his previous start, Saric managed two points, five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 18 minutes.
May 3, 2021
Plays just 14 mintues Sunday
Saric tallied eight points (2-4 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one block in 14 minutes during Sunday's 123-120 victory over the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Saric continues to play limited minutes off the bench, typically rendering him a non-factor in competitive formats. He certainly has the ability to put up decent numbers when afforded the opportunity but at this point, it doesn't seem likely that will eventuate.
Apr 30, 2021
Available off bench
Saric (ankle) is available for Friday's game against the Jazz, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS

Apr 28, 2021
Remains out Wednesday
Saric has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Clippers due to left ankle injury management, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric will miss a third consecutive game Wednesday for rest purposes, and with Jae Crowder (ankle) also out, the Suns will be thin at the power forward spot. As a result, Frank Kaminsky and Jalen Smith could see increased run in the frontcourt against the Clippers.
Apr 27, 2021
Questionable vs. Clips
Saric is questionable for Wednesday's contest against the Clippers due to left ankle injury management.
ANALYSIS
Saric has rested the past two games, and he may sit another contest out. Jae Crowder (ankle) is also questionable, so the Suns could once again be thin at power forward.
Apr 26, 2021
Out again Monday
Saric will be rested for Monday's game against the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Saric will rest for the second straight game as the Suns finish out a Sunday/Monday back-to-back set. With Jae Crowder (ankle) also out, expect Cameron Johnson to remain in the starting five at one forward spot.
Apr 24, 2021
Out for rest
Saric is out for Sunday's game against the Nets due to left ankle injury management.
ANALYSIS
Saric is battling an ankle injury and will sit out the front end of a back-to-back. With Jae Crowder (ankle) also out, Cameron Johnson should start again at power forward.

Apr 22, 2021
Questionable Thursday
Saric (ankle) is questionable for Thursday's contest against the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Saric was dealing with an ankle injury while he played Wednesday, and it's still giving him some issues ahead of Thursday. Jae Crowder (ankle) has already been ruled out. If both players are sidelined, Cameron Johnson, Frank Kaminsky and Torrey Craig could see more minutes.
Apr 21, 2021

Apr 20, 2021
Listed probable Wednesday
Saric (ankle) is listed as questionable Wednesday against the Sixers.
ANALYSIS
One night after making his first start of the season, Saric is listed on the injury report with soreness in his left ankle. The issue doesn't look to be anything serious, but it may have affected him Monday night, as he shot just 1-of-7 from the field and 0-of-4 from three in 18 minutes.
Apr 19, 2021
Making first start of season
Saric will start Monday's game against the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Saric was a surprise addition to the starting lineup Monday as he replaced Jae Crowder at the power forward position. Coach Monty Williams is mixing things up after Saric had averaged just 8.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 triple across 15.2 minutes per game over his last five outings.
Apr 1, 2021
Another strong performance
Saric supplied 16 points (6-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 20 minutes during Wednesday's 121-116 win over the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
After scoring 20 points on just eight field-goal attempts the day prior, Saric had another efficient effort Wednesday. He's scored in double-digits two games in a row after scoring in single-digits for eight straight contests. Saric seems to have settled into a role that fits him with the 33-14 Suns. In 18.6 minutes per game, he's averaged 10.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
Mar 31, 2021
Contributes 20 points off bench
Saric finished Tuesday's 117-110 victory over Atlanta with 20 points (7-8 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and two assists across 18 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Saric made the most of his minutes on the court, converting all but one of his field-goal tries, including all three from beyond the arc. His point total was his second-highest of the campaign and marked his first game in double figures since March 13. Saric is averaging 10.1 points and 4.3 boards across 18.5 minutes overall this season.
Mar 20, 2021
Grabs five boards off the bench
Saric finished with two points (1-4 FG, 0-3 3Pt), five boards and one assist in 24 minutes of a 113-101 win against Minnesota on Friday.
ANALYSIS
Saric has now gone three games in a row without reaching double-digit scoring but he has proved a decent rebounding option off the bench. His lower scoring totals haven't affected his minutes, as he's still regularly appearing with the second unit. He'll face the Lakers on Sunday.
Mar 3, 2021
Shines in big win
Saric tallied 21 points (7-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds and three assists across 26 minutes in Tuesday's 114-104 win over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Saric led the Suns in scoring in the contest, notching 10 points in the decisive fourth quarter. He also tied for second on the team with five boards. The scoring total was Saric's highest of the season, while his 26 minutes were his most since early January. The veteran is averaging 11.4 points and 4.1 boards through 16 games this season.
Mar 2, 2021

Saric missed Friday's matchup due to a right ankle sprain, but he'll suit up against the Timberwolves on Sunday. However, he'll face an unspecified minutes restriction during his first game back on the court.
Feb 27, 2021
Questionable Sunday
Saric (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Timberwolves, Gerald Bourquet of FanSided.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric missed Friday's win over the Bulls due to a sprained right ankle, but he could return Sunday. If he's out again, Abdel Nader should see an increased role once more.
Feb 26, 2021
Ruled out Friday
Saric (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Bulls, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric was dealing with a right ankle sprain leading into Friday's matchup, and he'll be unable to take the court as a result. It's not yet clear whether he'll return Sunday against Minnesota, but Frank Kaminsky and Jalen Smith could see increased run in his absence.
Feb 25, 2021
Uncertain for Friday
Saric (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game against Chicago, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric, who has been bothered by a left ankle sprain this season, is apparently also dealing with a right ankle sprain which has his status for Friday in question. Saric has averaged 16.5 minutes per game over the last seven contests, so his potential absence wouldn't affect the rotation dramatically.
Feb 23, 2021
Near double-double in win
Saric scored 14 points (5-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) to go along with nine rebounds and one assist in the Suns' 132-100 victory over the Trail Blazers on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Coming off a season-high 19 points Saturday, Saric was able to follow it up with another double-digit scoring game and a season-high rebound total Monday. After missing 13 games due to COVID-19 and an ankle injury, the forward has been getting his rhythm back to a tune of 11.3 points, and 3.5 rebounds over his last six games.
Feb 21, 2021
Impresses off bench
Saric had 19 points (7-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), a rebound and an assist across 19 minutes off the bench in Saturday's win over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Saric didn't do much aside from scoring, but he was very efficient and made the most of his limited time on the court -- he posted his best scoring output of the campaign while missing just two shots all game long. That said, Saric has played more than 20 minutes just once this season, and he's not likely to hold a lot of upside if he continues to see limited playing time going forward.
Feb 14, 2021
Available Sunday
Saric (ankle) is available for Sunday's game against the Magic, Gerald Bourquet of FanSided.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric returned to action Saturday and will be available once again during the second half of a back-to-back set. He played 20 minutes in Saturday's win over the 76ers and could see a similar workload against Orlando on Sunday.
Feb 14, 2021
Probable for Sunday
Saric (ankle) is probable for Sunday's game against the Magic, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric returned from a 13-game absence Saturday after dealing with an ankle sprain and COVID-19 and he is being listed as probable on the second half of a back-to-back. Saric played 20 minutes Saturday and would likely be looking at a similar workload should he get the green light for Sunday.
Feb 13, 2021
Comes up big off bench in return
Saric totaled 15 points (5-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four assists, four steals and a blocked shot over 20 minutes in Saturday's 120-111 victory over Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
Saric returned Saturday following a 13-game absence, and he put up impressive numbers despite logging only 20 minutes of playing time. In addition to placing third on the team with 15 points, the veteran racked up four steals and four dimes. Moving forward, Saric figures to play a key bench role for a Suns team that has won five straight and currently sits in fourth place in the Western Conference.
Feb 13, 2021
Cleared to play
Saric (ankle) has been cleared to return Saturday against the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
After dealing with COVID-19 and an ankle injury, Saric will be able to suit up Saturday for the first time since Jan. 11. In his seven appearances this season, he has averaged 10.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 18.9 minutes. Saric's return could reduce Frank Kaminsky's role, as well as Abdel Nader's.
Feb 12, 2021
Questionable for Saturday
Coach Monty Williams considered Saric (ankle) questionable for Saturday's game against the Sixers, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 26-year-old has been sidelined since Jan. 11 due to a left ankle sprain, but he was a full participant at Friday's practice. Saric appears to be closing in on his return to game action, even if it doesn't come Saturday.
Feb 9, 2021
Out vs. Milwaukee

Feb 8, 2021
Out again Monday
Saric (ankle) has been ruled out of Monday's game against the Cavaliers, Duane Rankin of AZCentral reports.
ANALYSIS
It will be the 12th straight absence for Saric, who missed time due to COVID-19 protocols and is now nursing a sprained left ankle. The Suns appear to be evaluating the forward on a game-to-game basis, so consider him questionable for Wednesday's game against Milwaukee.
Feb 6, 2021
Still out Sunday
Saric (ankle) is out Sunday against the Celtics, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It seemed like Saric was on the verge of a return from health and safety protocols, but he's picked up an ankle injury that's preventing him from play Sunday. His next chance to take the floor arrives Monday against the Cavaliers.
Feb 4, 2021

Jan 30, 2021

Saric is out for the remainder of the Suns' road trip and could play next Friday against the Pistons, Gerald Bourguet of FanSided.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Health and safety protocols will continue to keep Saric sidelined. He's been out six games already and will miss three more at least.
Jan 27, 2021
Could return Saturday
Saric (COVID-19 protocols) is back with the team and the hope is for him to be ready for Saturday's game against the Mavericks after a few days of conditioning, John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM reports.
ANALYSIS
We should expect Saric to remain sidelined until Saturday. He hasn't played since Jan. 11 due to health and safety protocols and needs some time to get back up to speed. He sees 18.7 minutes per game, and once he's back, Frank Kaminsky could see a reduction in minutes.
Jan 26, 2021
Remains out Wednesday
Saric (COVID-19 protocols) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Thunder, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric will be sidelined for a fifth consecutive contest while he remains in the league's health and safety protocols. The 26-year-old's next chance to play will be Thursday against Golden State.
Jan 23, 2021
Out Saturday
Saric (COVID-19) won't play in Saturday's contest against Denver, Kellan Olson of 98.7 Arizona Sports reports.

Jan 21, 2021
Won't play Friday
Saric (COVID-19 protocols) will not play in Friday's game against the Nuggets.

Jan 19, 2021
Remains out Wednesday
Saric (COVID-19 protocols) will not play in Wednesday's game against Houston.
ANALYSIS
This will be the second straight absence for Saric, who is yet to pass through the league's health and safety protocols. In his absence Monday, Frank Kaminsky entered the rotation and played 13 minutes off the bench.
Jan 17, 2021
Out due to safety protocols
Saric has been ruled out of Monday's game against the Grizzlies due to the league's health and safety protocols, Kellan Olson of AZ Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
The game will go on as scheduled, but it's possible Saric could miss a string of games if it's determined that he was exposed to the virus. For now, consider him day-to-day ahead of Wednesday's game in Houston.
Jan 7, 2021
Goes for 15 off bench
Saric had 15 points (6-11 FG, 2-3 3PT, 1-1 FT) and five boards in Wednesday's win over Toronto.
ANALYSIS
It was the second straight 15-point effort for Saric, who's fit right in as one of the Suns' first options off the bench. Saric has hit multiple three-pointers in three of his four appearances this season.
Jan 3, 2021
Scores 15 in return
Saric finished with 15 points (6-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four boards, one assist, and one steal in 17 minutes of a 112-107 loss to the Clippers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Saric returned to the lineup after missing Friday's game with a quadriceps injury. The injury has dogged the fourth year vet for much of the young season, limiting him to just three games thus far. He'll have a few days off before his team retakes the floor against the Raptors on Wednesday.
Jan 2, 2021
Ready for Sunday
Saric (quadriceps) isn't listed on the injury report for Sunday's game against the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
The 26-year-old sat out Friday's game due to injury management for his right quadriceps soreness, and he'll be back on the court Sunday. Saric made his season debut earlier in the week and averaged 7.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.0 assist in 16.0 minutes off the bench in his first two games.
Jan 1, 2021
Out for injury management
Saric is out for Friday's game against the Nuggets due to injury management of right quad soreness, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric missed the first three games of the year due to a quad injury and the team will exercise caution on the second night of a back-to-back by holding the forward out. In his place, Jae Crowder, Cameron Johnson and Frank Kaminsky could all see extra run at power forward.
Jan 1, 2021
Can't find shot Thursday
Saric saw 18 minutes and posted five points (1-7 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one assist during Thursday's 106-95 win over the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
After an impressive debut two nights prior, Saric crashed back down to earth with an ice-cold shooting effort. Seeing 18 minutes is a positive for Saric considering the other options at the position -- namely Jae Crowder and Cameron Johnson. Still, it seems unlikely Saric will make his way into fantasy relevance this season outside of deep formats.
Dec 30, 2020
Scores well off bench in debut
Saric (quadriceps) played 14 minutes off the bench Tuesday in the Suns' 111-86 win over the Pelicans, scoring 10 points (3-4 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and chipping in four rebounds, one assist and one steal.
ANALYSIS
Saric was back in action for his season debut after missing the Suns' first three games with a quad injury. Coming off a stellar showing at the NBA bubble in Orlando this summer, the 26-year-old received a three-year, $27 million deal from the Suns over the offseason and looks poised to fill a key role on the second unit in 2020-21. He served as the primary backup to starting center Deandre Ayton on Wednesday, resulting in Frank Kaminsky dropping out of the rotation.
Dec 29, 2020
Available Tuesday
Saric (quadriceps) is available for Tuesday's game against the Pelicans, John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM reports.
ANALYSIS
The 26-year-old missed the first three games of the season with right quadriceps soreness, but he'll make his season debut Tuesday. Saric averaged 10.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 24.7 minutes for the Suns last season, and he should be a significant piece off the bench during the 2020-21 campaign.
Dec 28, 2020
Probable Tuesday
Saric (quadriceps) is listed as probable ahead of Tuesday's tilt against the Pelicans, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Barring any setbacks, it looks like Saric is on track to make his season debut. The 26-year-old will likely be eased back into the swing of things.
Dec 27, 2020
Still out with quad injury
Saric (quad) is out for Sunday's game against the Kings, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric will miss his third-consecutive game to begin the season due to a quadriceps injury. The 26-year-old has progressed to light 1-on-1 work, but it doesn't look like a return is imminent. Jae Crowder and Cameron Johnson will continue to see expanded roles in his absence.
Dec 21, 2020
Missing start of season
Saric began participating in 1-on-1 work against coaches but won't be available for Wednesday's season opener against the Mavericks, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 26-year-old sat out preseason play due to the quadriceps injury and still has some work to do before being cleared for game action. Saric indicated he could be ready to play in about a week, so he could be sidelined for the first few games of the 2020-21 campaign.
Dec 20, 2020
Remains day-to-day
Coach Monty Williams said Saric (quad) remains day-to-day, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric did not play in the preseason due to a quad issue, and it looks like his status remains uncertain with the regular season beginning Wednesday for Phoenix. Last season, the 26-year-old averaged 10.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 triples per game in his first campaign with the Suns.
Dec 17, 2020
Won't play Friday
Saric (quad) won't play in Friday's preseason game against the Lakers, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric was able to practice with the team Thursday, but he's still apparently not quite ready for game action. Phoenix opens the regular season Dec. 23 against Dallas.
Dec 17, 2020
Practices Thursday
Saric (quadriceps) went through practice Thursday, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric has yet to play in the preseason due to right quad soreness, and Friday's game against the Lakers marks his final chance. The Suns' regular-season opener is Wednesday against the Mavericks.
Dec 16, 2020
Out again Wednesday
Saric (quadriceps) is out Wednesday against the Lakers, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric has yet to make his exhibition debut due to a sore right quad. There's one more preseason game left for the Suns on Friday. After that, the opener is Dec. 23 against the Mavericks.
Dec 14, 2020
Out with sore quad
Saric (quad) will not play in Monday's preseason game against the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
It will be the second straight absence to begin the exhibition season for Saric, who also missed Saturday's opener. He'll have two more chances -- Wednesday and Friday against the Lakers -- to play before the regular season begins.
Dec 12, 2020
Ruled out Saturday
Saric will not play in Saturday's exhibition opener versus the Jazz due to right quad soreness, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Suns are presumably exercising caution here, as there is no need for Saric to suit up until his health is completely up to par. He is expected to be one of the first players off the bench for Phoenix this season and help provide depth at forward.
Nov 23, 2020
Sticking around in desert
Saric agreed Monday to re-sign with the Suns on a three-year, $27 million contract, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The 26-year-old looked like he might be headed elsewhere this offseason after he was removed from the starting lineup in January, but he found his niche with the Suns as a go-to option on the second unit. He hit double figures in the scoring column in each of Phoenix's final 14 games of the 2019-20 campaign, averaging 15.4 points in 26.5 minutes per contest while shooting 58.1 percent from the field and 56.1 percent from three-point range. Even if the Suns continue to deploy Saric as a sixth man, he should still see the biggest portion of the minutes at power forward when healthy.
Aug 14, 2020
Strong effort off bench
Saric scored 16 points (6-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT) while adding six rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 126-102 win over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Despite the fact the 26-year-old started only one of eight games in the Orlando bubble, Saric was very productive, scoring in double digits in every game while averaging 14.8 points, 7.6 boards, 1.8 assists and 1.4 threes. Now a restricted free agent, he'll likely help anchor the second unit again to begin 2020-21, assuming he returns to Phoenix.
Aug 5, 2020
Thriving in bench role
Saric posted 13 points (4-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds and one assist in 26 minutes off the bench Tuesday in the Suns' 117-115 win over the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Saric started the Suns' final seven games before the NBA went on hiatus in mid-March, but he's been coming off the bench in Orlando, while rookie Cameron Johnson has been installed as the new starting power forward. The move to the second unit has worked out favorably thus far for Saric, who has hit the teens in scoring through the first three games in the bubble while shooting 56.5 percent from the floor. Don't expect coach Monty Williams to change Saric's role anytime soon, as the Suns have rolled to a 3-0 record while beating a pair of quality opponents in the Mavericks and Clippers.
Aug 1, 2020
Productive in bench role
Saric amassed 16 points (4-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 27 minutes during Friday's 125-112 victory over the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Saric battled through his recent ankle concern, scoring an efficient 16 points despite coming off the bench. After a strong showing in the scrimmage games, Saric could be a sneaky source of fantasy value no matter his exact role. He doesn't offer tremendous upside in any one category but can chip in across the board making him a viable option in most roto formats.
Jul 31, 2020
Playing off bench
Saric (ankle) will come off the bench for Friday's opener against the Wizards, Evan Sidery of Locked On Suns reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric has been dealing with an ankle injury but, ultimately, he's set to play. In eight appearances off the bench this season, Saric is averaging 4.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 11.9 minutes. Cam Johnson will draw the start in his place.
Jul 30, 2020
Does more in practice Thursday
Saric (ankle) did "more" during Thursday's practice, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric exited Sunday's scrimmage against the Celtics with an ankle injury and sat out the following, final scrimmage against the Raptors. It remains unclear if he'll play in Friday's opener against the Wizards.
Jul 28, 2020
Sitting out final scrimmage
Saric (ankle) will not participate in the Suns' final scrimmage Tuesday against Toronto, Duane Rankin of AZ Central reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric is still nursing an ankle sprain, and the Suns will play it safe with the forward in their final tuneup. The team called Saric day-to-day earlier in the week, so consider him questionable for the first seeding game on Friday against Washington until further notice.
Jul 27, 2020
Considered day-to-day
The Suns are considering Saric (ankle) day-to-day as the team's first seeding game approaches, Kellan Olson of AZ Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric left Sunday's scrimmage with an ankle injury, but the good news is it does not appear to be anything serious. Olson notes that Saric appeared to be walking without a limp Monday. At this time, it's unclear if he'll play in Tuesday's final scrimmage against Toronto.
Jul 26, 2020
Suffers ankle injury
Saric exited Sunday's scrimmage against the Celtics with an apparent ankle injury, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 26-year-old suffered the injury late in the first half when he stepped on the foot of Frank Kaminsky, and the team labeled him doubtful to return. Saric should be considered questionable for the final scrimmage against the Raptors on Wednesday.
Mar 11, 2020
Solid line despite loss to Portland
Saric contributed 24 points (9-16 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and one block in 39 minutes during Tuesday's 121-105 loss at Portland.
ANALYSIS
Saric endured a mid-season slump and dealt with injuries earlier this season, but he seems to be getting back to form and has scored in double digits in each of his last six games. He is averaging 14.6 points and 6.9 rebounds while shooting 54.4 percent from the field and 52.2 percent from three-point range in his last seven starts.
Mar 8, 2020
Scores 11 in victory over Bucks
Saric accrued 11 points (3-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal in 26 minutes during Sunday's 140-131 win over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Saric scored a season-high 24 points in his last game, adding eight boards, three steals, two triples and a block, taking advantage of the absence of DeAndre Ayton (ankle). Over his previous two outings, the soon-to-be 26-year old has played at a second-round level, averaging 20.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.0 threes and 1.5 steals, while shooting 71.4 percent from the field, and 85.7 percent from the line. This game wasn't quite as impressive, and Ayton seems to be close to a return, so Saric could be pushed to the back burner again soon.
Mar 7, 2020
Season-high 24 points in win
Saric posted 24 points (9-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds, three steals and one block across 38 minutes during Friday's 127-117 win over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Due to the absence of Deandre Ayton (ankle), more usage and minutes fell to Saric, who had one of his best performances of the season Friday, scoring a season-high 24 points on efficient shooting. The duration of Ayton's absence is cloudy, so it's possible we'll continue to see Saric in an expanded role for the immediate future. He's seen 30-plus minutes in 18 games this season, and in those contests, he's averaged 15.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists.
Feb 27, 2020
Struggles as starter
Saric posted five points (1-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds and three assists in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 102-92 loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Saric couldn't take advantage of the fact he started for the first time Jan. 26, missing all but one of his field while struggling to produce in a 31-minute outing. Saric will return to the bench once Kelly Oubre (knee) is recovered but even if he continues to start, he should be nothing more than a secondary option on offense behind the likes of Devin Booker, DeAndre Ayton and even Ricky Rubio.
Feb 26, 2020
Starting vs. Clippers
Coach Monty Williams said Saric will start Wednesday against the Clippers, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric will join the starting five Wednesday in place of the injured Kelly Oubre (knee). Across 43 starts this season, Saric is averaging 10.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 26.4 minutes.
Feb 25, 2020
Perfect shooting night
Saric supplied 14 points (5-5 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and two assists in 16 minutes during the Suns' 131-111 Monday night win over the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Saric's status had been clouded while he dealt with an ankle injury, and although he saw a bit less than his normal workload, Saric was impressive. Through the heart of January, Saric was averaging well over 20 minutes per game and will likely sit in that 20-25 minute range if he remains healthy for the final quarter of the season.
Feb 24, 2020
Available to play
Saric (ankle) has been cleared to play Monday against Utah.
ANALYSIS
Saric will be available off the bench for Monday's matchup, as expected. He's averaging four points and three rebounds in his last four games off the bench.
Feb 23, 2020
Probable Monday
Saric (ankle) is probable for Monday's matchup against Utah, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric has averaged 4.0 points and 3.0 rebounds in 12.5 minutes in two outings since returning from an ankle injury last Friday. The forward is in line to once again take the floor Monday in Utah.
Feb 22, 2020
Available Saturday
Saric (ankle) is available for Saturday's game versus the Bulls, Gina Mizell of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric returned from a seven-game absence Friday and saw 20 minutes against the Raptors, but he was still considered probable for Saturday's contest. The 25-year-old won't face a minutes restriction.
Feb 22, 2020
Deemed probable
Saric (ankle) is probable for Saturday's game against the Bulls, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric made his return from an ankle injury Friday against the Raptors, posting eight points, five rebounds and three assists in 20 minutes. He's dealing with some residual soreness, but he's expected to play Saturday.
Feb 22, 2020
Backup power forward in return
Saric (ankle) played 20 minutes and supplied eight points (2-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and three assists Friday in the Suns' 118-101 loss to the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Saric was cleared to play in the Suns' first game of the second half after missing the team's final seven contests prior to the All-Star break with a sprained left ankle. Phoenix appears committed to Kelly Oubre and Mikal Bridges as its starting forwards, making it difficult to envision Saric pushing for much more playing time than he received Friday. The 25-year-old only looks like a viable option in 16-team leagues or deeper at this time.
Feb 21, 2020
Available Friday
Saric (ankle) is available to play on Friday against the Raptors, Gina Mizell of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
After not playing a single game in February due to an ankle injury, Saric will return on Friday against the Raptors. The 25-year-old will look to return from his injury with a bang, as Saric is averaging a career-low in points per game this season.
Feb 20, 2020
Probable Friday
Saric (ankle) is probable for Friday's contest against Toronto, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric hasn't played since suffering the left ankle sprain against the Thunder on Jan. 31, a span of seven games. That streak will likely end Friday though, as Saric will likely return to the court barring any major setbacks. The Suns will have a decision to make once Saric is back, as Mikal Bridges has been starting in his place and faring well (averaging 11.2 points over the past nine games).
Feb 19, 2020
Practices Wednesday
Saric (ankle) was able to practice Wednesday and could return Friday against Toronto, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Coach Monty Williams is "hopeful" that Saric will play Friday, though an official update on his availability has yet to be made. The 25-year-old forward's missed the entirety of February to date due to a left ankle sprain but appears to be making traction in his return. Prior to his absence, Saric had started all but five games and was averaging 9.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 24.8 minutes per contest.
Feb 11, 2020
Out again Wednesday
Saric (ankle) won't play in Wednesday's contest against Golden State, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The forward remain sidelined for a seventh straight matchup Wednesday, as Saric continues to battle a left ankle sprain. With the All-Star break beginning Thursday, there should be a decent opportunity that Saric returns to the floor Feb. 21 against Toronto.
Feb 8, 2020
Still out Saturday
Saric (ankle) is out Saturday against the Nuggets, Gina Mizell of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
A sprained left ankle will force Saric to miss his fifth consecutive game. His next chance to return to the court arrives Monday against the Lakers.
Feb 6, 2020
Remains out Friday
Saric (ankle) won't play Friday against the Rockets, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric will miss a fourth straight matchup as he continues to work back from a sprained left ankle. His next opportunity to play arrives Saturday against the Nuggets.
Feb 4, 2020
Out again
Saric (ankle) will not play Monday against Detroit, Kellan Olson of AZSports reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric will miss a third straight game as he nurses a sprained left ankle. Expect Cheick Diallo, Kelly Oubre and Mikal Bridges to continue picking up some extra minutes in his stead.
Feb 3, 2020
Out Monday
Saric (ankle) will not play Monday against Brooklyn, Duane Rankin of AZCentral.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saric did not travel with the team for Sunday's game against Milwaukee, so it's no surprise that he'll remain out Monday, as well, with the Suns heading into the second night of a difficult back-to-back set. Reading between the lines, Saric will likely remain out Wednesday in Detroit before the Suns return home for a matchup with the Rockets on Friday.

Uninspiring in bench role
Saric produced just eight points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 22 minutes during Tuesday's 133-104 victory over Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Saric was moved to the bench for Tuesday's game, seeding his starting position to Mikal Bridges. Despite starting over the past few weeks, Saric is outside the top-150 in standard leagues. This move could be a permanent decision by head coach Monty Williams and basically removes Saric from any 12-team discussions.

Impressive showing versus Celtics
Saric racked up 13 points (6-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt), 11 rebounds and five assists in 37 minutes during Saturday's 123-116 win over the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Saric logged his eighth double-double through 42 appearances this season, which puts him on pace to surpass his career high of 13 back in 2017-18. This was also the first time since Dec. 20 that Saric earned at least 30 minutes, and he'll look to keep proving he deserves the starting power forward role (and plenty of minutes) in Monday's matchup versus the Spurs.

Logs 28 minutes as starter
Saric supplied 11 points (5-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 28 minutes during Thursday's 121-98 win over the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Saric drew the start at power forward with Kelly Oubre (concussion) sidelined. Saric has logged at least 21 minutes in three of his last four appearances, but this was his highest minute total since Dec. 20, this after averaging 27.8 minutes in October and November and 26.4 in December. Perhaps Saric can carve out a bigger role going forward, but he was averaging just 14.9 minutes per game through the first seven January matchups.

ANALYSIS
The final line was certainly nothing to write home about, but Saric at least logged his highest amount of playing time since Dec. 28 in the loss. The big man had seen single-digit minutes in each of his previous two contests, with Aron Baynes and Deandre Ayton handling starting frontcourt duties. Coach Monty Williams also offered a sliver of optimism with respect to Saric's future prospects, remarking after the game that he wanted to get the big man more involved in the rotation again.
