Even though Sacramento has struggled this season, Fox has been playing at a high level, averaging a career-high 26.7 points with 4.9 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.6 steals per game. If he's unable to play against Boston, Malik Monk could shoulder the load in the backcourt.

Fox (hip) was spotted going through Wednesday's practice, Frankie Cartoscelli of KHTK Sactown Sports 1140 reports.

The Kings haven't released an update on Fox after he missed the past two games, but his availability at Wednesday's practice is a good sign. The Kings are off until Friday against the Celtics, so Fox's fantasy managers can be optimistic about his chances of playing.

Sunday's game against the Warriors was Fox's first absence of the season, but now he'll end up missing both games of this back-to-back set. The Kings are off until Jan. 10 after Monday's game, and fantasy managers should consider him questionable for that contest. As for Monday, Malik Monk will soak up more usage, while Keon Ellis and Devin Carter are likely to see extended minutes in the backcourt.

Fox (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Warriors.

As expected, Fox has been downgraded from doubtful to out and will miss his first game of the season. In his absence, Keon Ellis should move into the starting lineup, while Malik Monk handles increased usage. Rookie Devin Carter, who recently made his NBA debut, could also be a larger factor in the rotation against Golden State. Fox's next chance to suit up will come Monday against Miami.

Fox is unlikely to play Sunday against the Warriors due to a right glute contusion, Frankie Cartoscelli of KHTK Sactown Sports 1140 reports.

Fox has been feeling some glute soreness after taking a fall in the win over the Grizzlies on Friday and is expected to be listed as doubtful. That said, his chances of playing are unlikely, especially since the Kings aren't expected to take risks with their star floor general. If that's the case, look for Malik Monk, Devin Carter and Keon Ellis to handle expanded roles in the backcourt.

Fox ended with 35 points (13-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one block in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 113-107 win over the 76ers.

Fox had one of the most efficient shooting performances of his career after missing just three of his 16 shots en route to surpassing the 30-point plateau for the third time over his last six appearances. He's been turning things around following a rough patch in early December. The star floor general is averaging 29.5 points, 6.7 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 54.4 percent from the floor across his last six outings.

Fox closed with 33 points (13-23 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, six assists and one steal over 35 minutes during Monday's 110-100 win over the Mavericks.

Fox logged his third-highest scoring total of the year, completing a diverse line during interim coach Doug Christie's first win. It was important for the Kings to snap the five-game skid, and there are too many fantasy -worthy pieces on this roster to keep them down for long. Fox is on pace for a career year in his eighth season. Despite the recent losing streak, Fox was excellent during the five-game stretch, averaging 28.4 points, 7.2 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals.

Fox contributed 29 points (12-25 FG, 1-9 3Pt, 4-7 FT), five rebounds, 12 assists, one block and four steals in 39 minutes during Saturday's 132-122 loss to the Lakers.

Fox established a new season-high mark in assists Saturday and recorded his fourth double-double of the season. The Kings often employ Fox, Domantas Sabonis, and DeMar DeRozan in the playmaking duties, but Fox remains the de facto floor general. This was the team's first game under interim head coach Doug Christie, but if Fox has a bigger responsibility in the playmaking department, that could translate to an uptick in his assists per game.

Fox had 26 points (11-25 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, four assists and two blocks over 38 minutes during Thursday's 114-113 loss to the Pistons.

Even though Fox only converted 44 percent of his shots in the loss, it's hard to complain about the elite guard's recent production. He's enjoyed a superb five-game run, averaging 27.0 points, 6.0 assists and 4.8 rebounds over the span. His recent three-point results have been a bit disappointing, but he's still delivering as a multi-category contributor with significant upside.

Fox provided 23 points (7-19 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 7-8 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 35 minutes during Sunday's 122-95 loss to the Pacers.

The 27-year-old guard led all scorers on the night, but it wasn't enough to overcome a balanced Indiana attack that saw seven different Pacers score in double digits. Fox has dished at least five assists in seven straight games, averaging 24.3 points, 7.3 dimes, 4.7 boards, 1.9 threes and 0.9 steals over that stretch, but he hasn't posted those kind of distribution numbers over a full season since 2020-21.

Fox totaled 31 points (12-17 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 38 minutes during Saturday's 103-99 loss to the Lakers.

Fox led the way for Sacramento on the offensive end of the floor Saturday, leading all players in scoring and threes made while ending second on the team in assists in a well-rounded showing. Fox has surpassed the 30-point mark in six outings this season, adding at least five assists in four of those outings.

Fox had 26 points (7-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 10-11 FT), three rebounds, five assists and three steals across 36 minutes during Thursday's 113-100 loss to the Lakers.

There's little reason to blame Fox for the defeat, as he was vey effective on both sides of the ball while turning in another excellent line. Fox is on pace to produce the best season of his career, as he's currently besting previous season averages in rebounds, assists and field goal percentage. His only drop-off is his proficiency from downtown, where he's only converting at a 32.6 percent clip.

Fox closed with 29 points (11-24 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and one block in 39 minutes during Monday's 130-129 loss to Denver.

Fox snapped a seven-game stretch in which he didn't reach the 25-point mark, and this was the first time he accomplished that feat since Nov. 27 in a 115-104 win over the Timberwolves. The star floor general continues to find ways to impact the game even when he's not carrying the offense, though the Kings also have DeMar DeRozan, Domantas Sabonis and even Malik Monk to pick up the slack at times offensively. Fox is averaging 21.9 points, 7.3 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game since the beginning of December, so fantasy managers shouldn't be overly worried even if he goes through a down stretch.

Fox accumulated 18 points (7-20 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, eight assists, one block and one steal across 37 minutes during Thursday's 111-109 victory over the Pelicans.

Fox didn't have his best shooting performance and finished with more field goal attempts than points scored. However, that could very well end up being overlooked when analyzing his full line, as he finished just two dimes and three boards away from a triple-double. Fox can take over offensively on any given game for the Kings, but he remains valuable in fantasy even in games where he takes a step back to the likes of Domantas Sabonis and DeMar DeRozan. Fox is averaging 20.7 points, 7.3 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game since the beginning of December.

Fox posted 21 points (9-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, nine assists and one block across 31 minutes during Sunday's 141-97 win over the Jazz.

While it'd be unfair to say Fox is going through a cold stretch, he's certainly not putting up the same numbers he delivered in the early stages of the season. He's gone six straight games without scoring more than 23 points, but he's still averaging 21.3 points, 6.8 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game while shooting 44.8 percent from the floor in that span.

Fox produced 22 points (8-18 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-7 FT), five rebounds and five assists in 36 minutes during Friday's 115-106 loss to the Trail Blazers.

The 26-year-old point guard put the finishing touches on a strong November that saw him score more than 20 points in 15 of 16 games, averaging 29.3 points, 5.3 assists, 5.1 boards, 2.2 threes and 1.6 steals on the month while shooting 50.6 percent from the floor. Fox has averaged more than 20 points a game in each of the five previous seasons, but the addition of DeMar DeRozan (back) to the Kings' lineup has created some extra space for him -- Fox's 27.7 PPG so far in 2024-25 would be a career high.

Fox accumulated 26 points (10-22 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-5 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists and two steals over 38 minutes during Wednesday's 115-104 victory over the Timberwolves.

After scoring a season-low 14 points in Monday's loss to the Thunder, Fox wasted little time getting right back on track by flirting with a triple-double in Wednesday's win over Minnesota. Since the calendar flipped to November, Fox is averaging an outstanding 29.7 points, 5.3 assists, 5.1 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 2.3 three-pointers in 38.3 minutes per game across 10 outings. The 26-year-old star guard is taking on more responsibility on offense in the void of star wing DeMar DeRozan (back), and he should continue returning enhanced fantasy value if that absence extends into Friday's matchup in Portland.

Fox logged 14 points (5-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, five assists and one steal across 40 minutes during Monday's 130-109 loss to Oklahoma City.

Fox finally saw his impressive scoring streak end Monday, posting a season-low scoring mark and needing 14 field-goal attempts to score 14 points. Despite this subpar outing, which was bound to happen given his recent numbers, Fox remains one of the most productive point guards in the Western Conference from a fantasy perspective. He's averaging 31.6 points per game over his last 10 games, a span in which he's also putting up 6.1 dimes per contest while shooting 53.5 percent from the floor.

Fox provided 31 points (10-16 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 8-12 FT), one rebound, five assists and two steals in 38 minutes during Sunday's 108-103 loss to the Nets.

Fox was efficient as a scorer and eclipsed the 31-point mark for the third time over his last five outings. Furthermore, the star floor general has scored at least 28 points in six straight contests. He's been one of the most productive guards in The Association regardless of the format over the last two weeks, and fantasy managers are certainly reaping the benefits of his production. Fox is averaging a career-high 28.9 points per game through 17 appearances this season.

Fox accumulated 29 points (10-20 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 8-10 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 43 minutes during Friday's 104-88 loss to the Clippers.

The 26-year-old point guard continues his torrid November pace. Fox has scored better than 20 points in every game this month, averaging 31.3 points, 5.3 boards, 5.2 assists, 2.3 threes and 1.8 steals through 12 contests while shooting 51.7 percent from the floor.

Fox amassed 28 points (11-23 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 39 minutes during Monday's 109-108 loss to Atlanta.

Fox has surpassed the 20-point mark in all but two of his appearances this season, and the star floor general has been one of the hottest players in the league in recent days thanks to four consecutive appearances with 28 or more points. During that stretch, Fox is averaging 41.5 points per game while shooting 57.1 percent from the field on 26.3 attempts per game. That's not sustainable in the long run, but the Kings should continue to ride Fox's hot hand with DeMar DeRozan (back) and Domantas Sabonis (back) sidelined.

Fox had 49 points (16-30 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 14-19 FT), three rebounds, nine assists and two steals across 36 minutes during Saturday's 121-117 victory over Utah.

Fox kept humming on all cylinders following his stellar 60-point showing against the Timberwolves. He's taken a whopping 65 shot attempts over the past two games and has been given license to turn it loose in the offense, which has been slightly short-handed amid DeMar DeRozan's (back) absence. DeRozan's offensive output has taken the pressure off of Fox and Domantas Sabonis to ball out every night, and the significant increase from Fox is partly due to the missing production at the wing. Fox's numbers will flatten out once DeRozan returns, but he's currently on an amazing run.

Fox recorded 60 points (22-35 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 10-11 FT), seven assists, three rebounds, three steals and one block over 44 minutes in Friday's 130-126 overtime loss to the Timberwolves.

Fox broke the Kings' franchise record for most points in a single game Friday that was previously held by Jack Twyman (59) from the 1959-60 regular season. Fox made clutch basket after clutch basket, and he scored 33 of his 60 points in the second half, which helped the Kings force overtime after being down by as many as 20 points. He's now averaging 27.3 points on 50.6 percent shooting, 5.3 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals over 37.5 minutes per game to star the 2024-25 regular season. Fox and the Kings will look to get back in the win column Saturday against the Jazz.

Fox registered 29 points (11-17 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-8 FT), six rebounds, 10 assists, one block and two steals in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 127-104 win over the Suns.

Fox started out hot with four converted field goals before finally missing his first shot in the second quarter, helping Sacramento seal the deal against the short-handed Suns. The Kings also beat the Suns last Sunday, where Fox also recorded a double-double. with 11 rebounds.

Fox had 24 points (9-19 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal over 36 minutes during Monday's 116-96 loss to the Spurs.

Fox has scored 20 or more points in nine of 11 games this season, and while he's converting 47.3 percent of his shots, his three-point conversion rate of 28.2 percent leaves a bit to be desired. He's also underperforming with an average of 4.7 assists.

Fox closed with 31 points (12-20 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds and one steal across 38 minutes during Friday's 107-98 loss to the Clippers.

The 26-year-old guard tied his season high in scoring while draining multiple threes for the sixth time in nine contests to begin the campaign. Fox has seen his shot volume decline slightly as the Kings work DeMar DeRozan into the offense, but he's still averaging 24.6 points, 4.6 boards, 4.6 assists, 2.0 threes and 1.9 steals a game.

Fox closed Monday's 111-110 win over the Heat with 28 points (11-21 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and five assists across 37 minutes.

Fox is believed to be playing under a minor pinky injury, but the ailment hasn't bothered the star floor general thus far. Even though Fox opened the 2024-25 season with a subpar (for his standards) showing, he's been his usual dominant self overall, surpassing the 20-point mark in all but one of his last seven contests while averaging 25.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game in that span.

Fox told reporters after Saturday's 131-128 overtime loss to the Raptors that he is playing through a ligament injury in his left pinky finger, Chris Biderman of The Sacramento Bee reports.

Fox dislocated his left pinky finger during training camp, but he was able to play through the issue after X-rays came back negative. Despite the injury occurring on his dominant hand, it hasn't caused a major drop off in Fox's efficiency from the field, as he's shooting 47.7 percent from the field through the first six games of the regular season. However, he did go 0-for-11 from three-point range during Saturday's overtime loss and finished with 24 points, six rebounds, one assist and five steals over 43 minutes.

Fox closed Friday's 123-115 win over the Hawks with 31 points (11-16 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and four steals in 37 minutes.

Fox delivered a season-high scoring mark in this contest and also posted his best shooting line of the campaign, missing just five of his 16 attempts from the field. The star floor general is having an excellent season while sharing the court with two other high-usage players in Domantas Sabonis and DeMar DeRozan. His scoring numbers have experienced a slight decrease, which is completely normal following the offseason addition of DeRozan, but his assists are up. Through five games, Fox is putting up 23.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game.

Fox had 19 points (8-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, six assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Tuesday's 113-96 win over the Jazz.

Fresh off surpassing the 10,000-point mark for his career in the 111-98 win over the Trail Blazers on Monday, Fox delivered another solid showing in the second half of a back-to-back set. Even though he couldn't reach the 20-point plateau for a third straight game, at least he showed more efficiency with his shooting, and this was the first time he made more than 50 percent of his field goals. Through four outings in 2024-25, Fox is averaging 21.5 points, 7.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game while shooting 46.4 percent from the field and a meager 29.2 percent from beyond the arc.

Fox accumulated 24 points (9-20 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, three assists and two steals in 35 minutes during Monday's 111-98 win over Portland.

Fox tallied a game-high 24 points while racking up two steals for the second consecutive matchup. However, the All-Star struggled from three-point range, and he is currently shooting 6-for-22 from beyond the arc on the season. Over three regular-season outings, the 26-year-old has averaged 22.3 points, 8.0 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals across 37.7 minutes per game.

Fox registered 28 points (9-20 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 7-8 FT), five rebounds, 10 assists and two steals across 41 minutes during Saturday's 131-127 loss to the Lakers.

Fox notched another excellent assist total, but his shot volume kicked in during the narrow loss. He nearly doubled the point total from his first game, delivering a result we'll see countless times during the season. The addition of DeMar DeRozan gives Fox another excellent assist source to pad his totals.

Fox (rest) is absent from the injury report for Thursday's game against the Timberwolves.

Sacramento rested Fox in its preseason finale and, as expected, the point guard will be active to start the regular season. Fox averaged 26.6 points, 5.6 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game last season but it's unclear how the acquisition of DeMar DeRozan will impact Fox's usage rate.

Fox won't play in Thursday's preseason game against the Clippers for rest purposes, Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento reports.

The Kings will sit Fox down for the preseason finale in an effort to ensure he begins the regular season fully rested. Malik Monk (hand) is also out Thursday, so it'll be up to Jordan McLaughlin, Keon Ellis and Colby Jones to eat up minutes in the backcourt.

Fox logged a full evening of work Tuesday evening, and it appears that the arrival of DeMar DeRozan will have little effect on the point guard's bottom line. DeRozan is a great addition, but Coach Mike Brown still intends to keep Fox and Domantas Sabonis as the cornerstones of the offense. Although Fox declined a $165 million contract extension in the offseason, the move is intended to give him a better bargaining position next year.

Fox recorded 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt), seven rebounds, three assists and three steals across 28 minutes in Sunday's 108-85 preseason loss to the Trail Blazers.

The Kings played their projected starters between 28 and 30 minutes, and even though Sacramento looked overmatched at times, there shouldn't be any notable changes in the rotation, let alone the starting unit, before the regular-season opener against the Timberwolves on Oct. 24. Fox had one of the best years of his career in 2023-24 after averaging career-high marks in several categories such as points (26.6), rebounds (4.6) and steals (2.0) per game.

Fox scored 19 points (6-12 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-4 Ft) while adding six rebounds and three assists in 26 minutes during Friday's 109-106 preseason loss to the Warriors.

The 26-year-old guard led the Kings in scoring and three-pointers on the night as every member of the starting five dropped at least 12 points. Fox appears to be adjusting quickly to working alongside DeMar DeRozan, and after setting career highs in 2023-24 in points (26.6), boards (4.6), threes (2.9) and steals (2.0) per game, he needs only stay healthy to put together another impressive campaign.

Fox compiled 11 points (5-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, an assist and a steal across 19 minutes in Wednesday's 122-112 loss to Golden State.

Fox will be able to focus more on ball distribution with DeMar DeRozan at the wing. Fox's output has been necessary to keep the Kings competitive, but DeRozan's addition will ease the pressure on Fox to force low-percentage shots and instead focus on moving the ball around more frequently.

Fox came through when the Kings needed him the most, and the star floor general sparked the team's second half comeback to secure a playoff berth -- and a matchup against the Thunder in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Even though Domantas Sabonis will make an impact on offense and Keegan Murray can be a valuable contributor in the scoring column, the Kings will live and die by Fox's performances, and they will go as far as the star guard can carry them. To note, Fox surpassed the 30-point plateau in two of his three appearances against the Thunder in the regular season.

Fox notched 24 points (10-14 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals across 26 minutes during Sunday's 121-82 victory over the Trail Blazers.

The Kings beat the Trail Blazers without much difficulty, and Fox took a seat for good at the end of the third quarter. He started off the game on a tear with four consecutive shots, and he would have probably ended with a much higher number if the team had kept the starters on the floor. Fox will need to produce at his best to get out of the play-in bracket, and he'll face the Warriors first. Fox logged 29 points and five assists in his most recent game against Golden State.

Fox ended with 33 points (11-18 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 8-10 FT), five rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 41 minutes during Thursday's 135-123 loss to New Orleans.

Thursday's loss forced the Kings into a play-in spot, but Fox has scored 33 points in two consecutive performances and is getting hot just in time for the playoffs. Fox and Domantas Sabonis need more help from the supporting cast to increase the Kings' chances for success, but the Kentucky product has the potential to outplay any point guard in the Western Conference

Fox provided 20 points (8-20 FG, 3-11 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal over 34 minutes during Sunday's 107-77 victory over the Nets.

The 26-year-old guard is having a strong finish to the regular season as the Kings try to secure a playoff spot and avoid the Play-In Tournament. Fox has scored 20 or more points in six straight games and 14 of the last 15, and he's averaged 24.4 points, 5.9 assists, 5.7 boards, 3.2 threes and 2.3 steals over the latter stretch.

Fox provided 40 points (16-29 FG, 7-13 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal over 44 minutes during Friday's 101-100 loss to the Celtics.

Fox almost single-handedly carried the Kings to victory, scoring almost half the teams' total points. Despite a few ups and downs, it's been a fantastic season for Fox, putting up second-round value in standard formats. He has turned himself into a viable two-way threat and should be viewed as a top-30 asset heading into the 2024-25 season.

Fox posted 29 points (11-26 FG, 6-13 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists, one block and three steals in 39 minutes during Thursday's 120-109 loss to the Knicks.

Fox might have needed 26 shots to score 29 points, but it's not like he wasn't efficient, and he also chipped in admirably in other categories, such as rebounds, assists and steals. A true all-around floor general who's embracing an even more significant role on offense with the loss of Malik Monk (knee) and Kevin Huerter (shoulder), Fox will continue playing a prominent role for a Kings team that's looking to end the regular season with a highest-possible seeding in the Western Conference. On that note, Fox has scored at least 20 points in all but one of his last 13 appearances.

Fox ended with 24 points (7-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 8-10 FT), six rebounds, 12 assists, two blocks and three steals across 36 minutes during Sunday's 127-106 victory over the Jazz.

Fox got back into double-double territory in a much-needed win. Fox endured some ups and downs in March, but he still managed an average of 24.8 points, 6.0 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 2.7 steals over 15 games during the month.

Fox is expected to play increased minutes down the stretch of the regular season as the Kings fight for their playoff seeding, Brenden Nunes of KHTK Sactown Sports 1140 reports.

The Kings enter Saturday's action in eighth place in the Western Conference, two games behind the sixth-placed Mavericks but only four games ahead of a red-hot Rockets team that sit in 11th place but have won 11 contests in a row. The Kings will push to secure a direct playoff berth and avoid the Play-In Tournament, and for that to happen, Fox needs to spend as much as possible on the court. Fox has been averaging 35.9 minutes per game since the beginning of March, and don't be surprised if that figure rises to around the 40 minutes-per-game mark.

Fox amassed 18 points (6-18 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, three assists and two steals in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 132-96 loss to the Mavericks.

Fox struggled with his shot against the Mavericks, who had the right defensive formula to contain the Kings' offensive attack. During the first half, Luke Doncic floated to where he was most needed and pestered Fox during the first two quarters. Fox was also ineffective in the fourth quarter without Doncic's involvement as he failed to score over six minutes in the final stanza.

Fox finished just three rebounds away from recording a triple-double, and with Domantas Sabonis and Malik Monk posting impressive stat lines as well, Fox was able to showcase his elite playmaking ability. The Kings snapped an eight-year streak of losing to the Bucks, and Fox was a critical piece of the winning effort. It was a great bounce-back for Fox, who only managed 18 points agains the Rockets Monday evening. Although Fox has failed to reach 20 points in 19 games this season, most of them haven't occurred recently. Fox made things look easy in a decisive blowout.

Fox contributed 18 points (7-21 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 34 minutes during Sunday's 112-104 loss to the Rockets.

Fox struggled badly from the field and needed 21 shots to score 18 points, but the nine rebounds were a nice sighting for the speedy point guard, as he tied his season-high mark in that category. Fantasy managers shouldn't worry about Fox, however, and there's a strong chance this was nothing more than a bad game. He's averaging 30.3 points per game while shooting 50 percent from the field over his last nine appearances.

Fox registered a game-high 33 points (14-32 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, five assists and three steals over 35 minutes before fouling out of Thursday's 131-129 victory over San Antonio.

The 26-year-old guard led all scorers on the night as he continues to see massive volume. Fox has attempted a whopping 32 shots in back-to-back contests, and his 21.1 FG attempts per game is second in the league, behind only Luka Doncic's 23.8 per game. He's been efficient of late, too -- over his last eight games, Fox is averaging 31.9 points, 6.9 assists, 5.8 boards, 2.4 steals and 1.9 threes while shooting 51.7 percent from the floor.

Fox provided 44 points (19-32 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, four assists and two steals over 39 minutes during Wednesday's 130-120 victory over the Lakers.

Fox made a whopping 32 shot attempts on the way to his massive total. No one came close to Fox's total on either team as the Lakers gave him too many mid-range looks. D'Angelo Russell had difficulty covering Fox, forcing LeBron James to come out and attempt to contain him. Aside from Domantas Sabonis, the rest of the starting lineup had a slow evening, so the Kings were fortunate that their star point guard was able to come alive.

He'll face the Lakers on Wednesday in what should be a very watchable battle opposite D'Angelo Russell.

The stellar point guard is on an incredible four-game tear, averaging 32.8 points, 7.5 assists, 7.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals over the span.

Fox amassed 28 points (12-18 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), five rebounds, nine assists, one block and two steals across 37 minutes during Thursday's 127-122 victory over San Antonio.

Fox's shoulder injury showed no ill effects during Thursday's win as the Kings' floor general picked up where he left off after two excellent games before the break. Prior to his 40-point explosion against the Suns last week, Fox was toiling through a horrible slump where he averaged only 15.3 points and 5.8 assists over a four-game stretch, but he came back to life with big numbers against Denver and Phoenix. Fox will have the night off before meeting the Clippers on the road Sunday, giving his shoulder a chance to rest.

Fox said Tuesday that he had been battling a right shoulder injury recently, however, the injury will not have an impact on his availability for Thursday's game. With Domantas Sabonis (illness) doubtful to face the Spurs, Fox could see a spike in usage if Sabonis sits.

Fox led all players in Tuesday's contest in scoring and threes made while ending one rebound shy of a double-double to go along with a half-dozen assists and a team-best trio of threes in an all-around showcase. Fox has surpassed the 40-point mark in six games this season, including in two of his last six contests. He hauled in a team-high-tying rebound total, a feat Fox has accomplished twice this year.

Fox posted 15 points (6-17 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 1-3 FT), one rebound and five assists over 33 minutes during Sunday's 127-113 loss to the Thunder.

Fox is a dynamic floor general who can takeover a game offensively in the blink of an eye, but that hasn't been the case of late, as he has gone four straight games without reaching the 20-point mark. The lack of scoring hasn't been enough to reduce his fantasy appeal, however, as Fox should bounce back sooner rather than later. During that aforementioned four-game stretch, Fox is averaging 15.3 points per game while shooting a mere 39.4 percent from the field.

Fox closed with 15 points (7-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds, 10 assists and five steals across 28 minutes during Friday's 135-106 victory over the Nuggets.

It's hard to believe that Friday marked Fox's third double-double of the season, as one would expect the dynamic guard to hit the milestone with more frequency. Domantas Sabonis is the primary culprit, as he leads the team with 8.2 assists per game and caps Fox's distribution totals. Fox still leads the team with 26.6 points per game this season, and will continue to be a mist-start in all formats.

Fox totaled 41 points (13-24 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 10-12 FT), four rebounds, four assists and five steals over 35 minutes during Saturday's 123-115 victory over the Bulls.

Fox led all players in Saturday's contest in threes made while added a game-best handful of steals and leading all scorers with a 40-point outing in a winning effort. Fox posted his fifth game of the year with 40 or more points, his first such performance since scoring 43 points on Dec. 26. He has now tallied five or more steals in three games.

Fox recorded 34 points (13-24 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), three rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals across 37 minutes during Saturday's 120-115 win over the Mavericks.

Fox chipped in just five of his 34 points in the fourth quarter, as Dallas outscored Sacramento by 14 points in the frame. Nonetheless, Fox boomed for his 22nd game with at least 28 points -- a threshold he hit 31 times through 73 starts last year. Fox's scoring upside is at an all-time high.

Fox ended Monday's 122-107 win over Atlanta with 12 points (5-16 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 35 minutes.

Fox was showing signs of fatigue after giving all he could during a four-game skid. The elite point guard couldn't find the bottom of the basket and went 0-for-5 beyond the arc, a rare occurrence for the proficient shooter. Fox is not immune to an occasional bad result, and Harrison Barnes was effective in picking up the slack this time around.

Fox had 33 points (12-24 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 3-5 FT), two rebounds, six assists and two steals over 37 minutes during Tuesday's 119-117 loss to the Suns.

Fox drained six threes and reached the 30-point mark for the third time this season, but his impressive outing was not enough, as the Kings had an epic meltdown in the final minutes and ended up losing a game they should've won by a sizable margin. Despite the team's struggles closing out games, Fox remains a top option at the point guard role in fantasy due to his all-around ability, and he's putting up 22.6 points, 4.8 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game since the start of January.

Fox totaled 21 points (5-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 9-11 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one steal over 38 minutes during Friday's 112-93 loss to the 76ers.

It was a modest scoring total by Fox's standards, but it still led the Kings on a night when the Sixers' defense held the opposition to just 33.7 percent shooting from the floor. Fox is still delivering 27.7 points a game on the season, but he's failed to reach 25 in five of the last six contests, averaging 18.0 points, 4.3 assists, 2.8 boards, 1.8 threes and 1.2 steals during his downturn.

The Kings lost by a whopping 33 points, and Domantas Sabonis was the only starter that had any real success. After a terrific showing in December, Fox has struggled in January and his performance Sunday was arguably his worst of the campaign. Over his last four games, Fox holds averages of 18.0 points, 5.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.3 three-pointers on 36.4 percent shooting from the field.

Fox posted 30 points (11-25 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 5-8 FT), five rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal in 38 minutes during Tuesday's 111-104 loss to the Hornets.

Fox led the Kings in scoring in the loss, putting up his third effort of at least 30 points over his past four games. Much of his production came in a 12-point fourth quarter, though his two turnovers and two missed shots over the final 45 seconds essentially sealed Sacramento's fate. Fox is in the midst of arguably his best NBA season, averaging 30.0 points, 6.1 assists, 4.6 rebounds, 3.5 three-pointers and 1.7 steals through 26 contests.

Fox needed 23 shots to score 24 points, and even though the star point guard wasn't at his best in terms of efficiency, he still delivered an impressive stat line. Fox has been one of the best point guards in the Western Conference over the last few weeks. He's averaging 29.3 points, 6.4 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game since the start of December.

Fox registered 31 points (10-20 FG, 8-16 3Pt, 3-7 FT), six rebounds, eight assists and four steals over 41 minutes in Friday's 117-110 win over the Hawks.

Fox led the Kings in scoring for the third straight game and the fifth time in his last six games. He has shot 50.0 percent or better from the field in six of his last seven games and has gone 15-for-31 from beyond the arc over his last two contests. Fox is fifth in the NBA averaging a career-high 30.2 points along with 6.1 assists and 4.6 rebounds over 35.1 minutes per game this season.

Fox posted 43 points (16-26 FG, 7-15 3Pt, 4-6 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals over 38 minutes during Tuesday's 130-113 loss to the Trail Blazers.

One would expect a decisive win after a total like this from Fox, but the Kings fell to 17-12 despite a career game from the elite point guard. Fox produced his third-highest shot volume of the year and connected on 61.5 percent of his shots.

Fox had a great outing but was unable to get the team to victory on his 26th birthday. That total would have been much lower had the Kings not emptied the bench in the final quarter. Fox will hope for more help from his supporting cast Friday against the Suns.

He's also thriving as the Kings' primary scoring threat, and while he's always had a leg up over Domantas Sabonis in that role, his numbers in recent weeks have simply been off the charts. Through his last eight contests, Fox is averaging 31.3 points, 7.8 assists and 4.9 rebounds per game.

His perimeter shooting has improved a ton this season, as he's on pace to easily set a new career-best mark with 3.0 three-pointers per game.

Over his last 10 games, Fox has taken his game to the next level while averaging 30.2 points, 6.6 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game.

The Kings suffered a 14-point loss to the Clippers, but Fox can't be blamed for the outcome of the game since he posted one of his best individual efforts of the campaign. His 40-point output was his second-best outing of the season, and he's now averaging a robust 30.4 points, 5.8 assists and 4.9 rebounds per game since returning from an ankle injury that made him miss five straight games in early November.

Fox has enjoyed better shooting nights than Wednesday's effort, but his massive volume allowed enough shots to fall. Fox's accuracy beyond the arc has suffered over the past four games, and he'll need it to heat up in time for the Kings' meeting against the Pelicans in the quarterfinals of the In-Season Tournament.

All in all, it's been a serviceable season thus far for Fox, with his poor percentages and lack of scoring versatility dragging down his overall fantasy value. For anyone rostering Fox, patience is needed here in the hope he can slowly start to get things back on track.

Fox may need a little time to get back in form, but fantasy managers should feel comfortable reinserting him into lineups as Sacramento prepares for a four-game week.

Fox was dominant throughout most of Friday's matchup with a team-high 31 points while shooting 64.7 percent from the floor. He converted each of his first eight attempts from the charity stripe, but he missed a pair of free throws with 2.4 seconds remaining in the contest as the Kings lost by one point. In spite of his late-game woes, Fox has now topped 30 points in back-to-back contests.

The lack of dimes isn't ideal, but his fantasy managers will likely be mostly pleased with this performance given that Fox entered the contest shooting a career-low 41.2 percent from the field.

However, aside from the giveaways, Fox had a nice game. He shot efficiently through a surprising conversion rate from the free-throw line and got his teammates involved with five assists.

Fox racked up 34 points (15-32 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, eight assists and one steal over 53 minutes during Friday's 141-137 3OT win over the Lakers.

Playing 53 minutes certainly helped, but this was a nice bounceback effort for Fox, who was ejected from his previous game Wednesday night against Portland. On the whole, it's been a disappointing start to the season for the Kentucky product, who's shooting just 43.3 percent from the field and 25.0 percent from three-point range. However, he's still providing fantasy managers with 20.7 points, 5.8 assists, 3.5 boards, 1.3 steals and 1.1 threes per contest.

While Fox had his second-highest scoring night of the season, it wasn't enough as the Kings shot just 36.6 percent from the field as a team, while Minnesota hit 50 percent of its looks. On the whole Fox, is off to a relatively disappointing start to the season, as he's struggling from the field and hitting less than 25 percent of his looks from three-point range. He's still a solid points, assists and steals producer, but Fox doesn't offer much three-point volume, and he continues to be a liability -- by guard standards -- at the free throw line (71.4% FT).

Fox registered 19 points (8-19 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), nine assists, six rebounds and three steals during Monday's win over Detroit.

Fox tied a team high offensively despite struggling from three again, as the guard is currently shooting just 23.0 percent from deep this season. However, Fox played well elsewhere especially in aiding other scorers and nearly finished with his second double-double this year. Across 14 games played, Fox has reached the 12-point mark offensively in every contest while dishing out at least five assists in 12 games.

Fox posted 16 points (5-14 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT), one rebound and five assists across 35 minutes during Friday's 105-103 loss to the Thunder.

Fox couldn't match the 37 points he scored against the Spurs on Wednesday, but at least he managed to extend the streak of games with at least 15 points to six contests. The speedy point guard has complete control of the Kings offense and has been one of the team's most reliable players, though his efficiency numbers remain subpar, to say the least. Even though he's scoring 19.8 points per game, he's shooting just 41 percent from the field and 23 percent from deep. Both numbers would be career-low figures for him if he can't improve them as the season progresses.

Fox finished Wednesday's 136-117 loss to the Spurs with 37 points (14-24 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), two rebounds, six assists, three blocks and one steal across 35 minutes.

Fox has surpassed the 20-point mark in three of his last four contests, but this was the first time he hit the 30-point plateau in a dominant performance. He's also dished out at least five assists in all but one of his last six contests, so the star point guard has been doing more than just scoring while cementing his place as Sacramento's best player by a wide margin.

Fox has surpassed the 20-point mark just three times this season, but he's managed to score in double digits in every one of his 11 appearances to date. The electric point guard has taken a bit of a step back compared to last season, though, as he's averaging "only" 18.1 points with 6.3 assists per game -- those would be his worst numbers of his last three seasons in The Association.

Fox scored 20 or more points across four of his last 10 games. He also recorded nine assists during two matchups this month. Though only one of those games was at Sacramento, Fox has been more reliable when playing there. He averaged 19.0 points (on a 51.1 field-goal percentage) and 6.9 assists across the Kings' last three home matchups.

Fox registered 19 points (8-14 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five assists, two rebounds and one steal over 38 minutes in a 112-99 win over the Pelicans on Wednesday.

Though he finished under the 20-point mark for the third straight game, Fox showed a much better shooting stroke Wednesday, making over half of his shots for the first time this season. The increased efficiency was partly due to the point guard taking only three attempts from beyond the arc, his lowest mark this season. Fox is shooting only 19.0 percent from three-point range and 38.5 percent overall on the campaign, and his 17.9 points per game are well below the 25.2 mark he posted last season.

Fox finished with14 points (5-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-5 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and three turnovers in 39 minutes during Sunday's 105-99 defeat to the Mavericks.

The speedy point guard has gotten off to a slow start to begin the season. After averaging 25.2 points per game last season, Fox has scored 20 or more points just twice this season. The Kentucky product is also shooting at a 16.1 percent clip from deep to begin the year as well. Fox is still a very talented young point guard, but the 23-year-old has not taken the leap that many expected him to make this season just yet.

Fox walked away with another serviceable line Wednesday but his percentages continue to be a real issue. He is currently shooting just 38 percent from the floor and 55 percent from the charity stripe. While both of these are likely to increase over the course of the season, it's hard to see him rectifying them to the point where they aren't still a massive flaw in his fantasy game.

Fox sounds like he'll be able to play through the ankle issue, but those planning on rolling him out in DFS lineups will still want to revisit his status prior to Wednesday's 10 p.m. ET tipoff. Fox finished Tuesday's contest with 14 points (5-17 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six assists, four rebounds and two steals.

Fox matched his season-high with 30 shots from the field and was effective from both two and three-point range. On the other hand, he was horrific from the free-throw line, where he also matched his season-high number of attempts. Otherwise, Fox's production remained strong across the board, as he tallied at least one steal for the 12 consecutive game and at least six assists for the fifth straight contest.

Fox posted 30 points (11-20 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT), eight assists, two rebounds and two steals across 39 minutes in Saturday's loss against the Jazz.

Fox paced the Kings in both points and assists, and the speedy point guard continues to carry the team offensively. The former Kentucky standout has scored at least 30 points in six of his previous 11 appearances and is the undisputed go-to player on offense for the Kings even when things are going south. He is averaging 28.5 points per game during that aforementioned 11-game stretch.

The Kings have now dropped four straight after signs that they were getting their act together, but the blame shouldn't be directed at Fox. who keeps putting up superlative numbers. Even through this skid, he's averaged 23.3 points, 6-8 assists and 4.8 rebounds.

Fox went for 31 points (8-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 13-15 FT), nine assists, six rebounds and two steals in 38 minutes of Monday's loss to the Timberwolves.

Fox made a living Monday at the charity stripe, setting a career high in both free throws made and attempted. He's now hit the 30-point mark thirteen times this season after only doing so nine times in his first three years in the league. Fox is also showing his worth on the defensive side of the ball, collecting steals in eight of his last nine outings and Monday marked the first time in his last six contests that he failed to block a shot.

Fox scored 27 points (10-24 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT) and added six assists, three rebounds, one steal and one block across 38 minutes Saturday in the Kings' 129-128 loss to the Bucks.

Though Fox and the Kings fell short in their upset bid, the 23-year-old was at least able to get back on track after being held to 12 points on 5-for-20 shooting from the field in Friday's loss to the Clippers. The 12-point outing marked the only time Fox has scored fewer than 24 points in any of the Kings' last eight contests.

Fox ended a streak of six straight games with at least 20 points, though, so all the signs would seem to indicate this game was nothing more than a bump on the road for the 2017 first-round pick.

The 23-year-old has now scored 20-plus points in 37 out of 47 games this season. Fox once again led Sacramento in scoring in the contest, though it was his deep inbounds pass to Harrison Barnes that led to a buzzer-beating three-pointer to give Sacramento its fourth straight win. During that stretch, Fox has been red hot, averaging 36.8 points and 5.5 assists per contest while shooting a remarkable 64 percent from the field.

Fox produced 44 points (16-22 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 9-10 FT), seven assists, three steals and two rebounds across 36 minutes in Thursday's 141-119 win over the Warriors.

Although Fox's services were no longer needed in the fourth quarter, it was evident that coach Luke Walton was pushing Fox to reach his career-high. Fox continues to mature as a team leader, and a shot of confidence like Thursday's win is a great benefit. Fox's production has experienced a lot of fluctuation this season, but he's come around recently, averaging 30.6 points, 6.3 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.9 steals over the past nine games.

Fox collected 37 points (13-20 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 8-9 FT), three assists, two rebounds, two steals and one block in a 110-108 victory over the Hawks on Wednesday.

Fox dominated in this one, scoring over 30 points for the second consecutive game while also picking up solid defensive stats. In addition to the terrific scoring totals of late the guard's defense has also picked up, as he has recorded multiple steals in six of his last 10 games. Over that stretch, Fox is averaging 28.6 points, 7.0 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game.

Fox totaled 30 points (13-23 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-6 FT), six rebounds, six assists and two steals over 38 minutes during the win over the Cavs on Monday.

Fox has seen his scoring increase each month and his four 30-point performances in March are the most he's had in a single month this season. On top of his elite scoring, Fox has also been a top-notch facilitator as he has dished out at least five assists in 24 straight contests. On the year, Fox is enjoying career highs in both points (23.8) and assists (7.4)

Fox registered 16 points (5-14 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 6-9 FT), six assists and four rebounds across 33 minutes in Saturday's 129-105 loss to the Sixers.

After a 29-point performance against the Celtics, Fox returned to earth after a tepid shooting night. Fox was actually posting some of his best numbers of the season leading into Saturday's game, including monster 32-point showings against the Hawks and Trail Blazers. Fox is on pace to post career numbers in minutes, points, assists and field-goal percentage this season.

Fox finished with 29 points (11-20 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five assists, two boards and two steals in 37 minutes of a 107-93 win against Boston on Friday.

Fox has now scored at least 28 points in his last six games as he continues to build on his strong year. The Kings are 4.5 games out of the 8th seed, so the starting lineup should see lots of time on the floor as Sacramento begins its final push to the playoffs.

Fox used his ability to get to and convert from the free-throw line to overcome a poor shooting night from the field. His seven assists were actually a downturn from his recent performances, as he had reached eight assists in 12 of his last 14 contests. However the highlight of Fox's box score was his five steals, a season-best mark.

Fox has been on an absolute tear since Jan. 30 scoring at least 20 points in 17 of 20 games while dishing out five or more assists in each outing. Over that time, Fox is averaging 26.2 points, 9.0 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game.

Fox was far from efficient from the field and missed three of his four free-throw attempts, but he was impressive as a distributor, collecting a season-best 14 assists. The fourth-year point guard is on pace for a career-best 7.4 dimes per game this season, and he ranks 12th in the league in that category.

Fox scored more than 25 points for the third straight games and continues to prove his worth as the Kings' go-to player on offense on a nightly basis. He also ended a streak of games with at least eight assists at eight contests, and he's been thriving both as a scorer and as a passer in recent weeks.

Fox contributed 29 points (9-18 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 11 assists, four rebounds and one steal in the Kings' 140-121 loss to the Knicks on Thursday.

Fox was able to score at least 27 points on 50 percent shooting for the second straight game despite six turnovers. The guard has been turning the ball over a little bit more than usual, as he has at least four turnovers in five consecutive games. Even with the turnovers, Fox has had a great month of February averaging 25.0 points, 9.2 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game.

Fox posted 27 points (9-18 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 4-7 FT), eight assists, one rebound and one block in 38 minutes during Tuesday's 127-118 loss to the Nets.

Fox was a bit turnover prone (four) in the performance, but he shot efficiently from the field and got his teammates involved. Tuesday marked the seventh time this season Fox has scored at least 27 points, and it's the 13th time he's dished at least eight assists.

Fox scored 13 points (5-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and added 10 assists, two steals and one rebound in the Kings' 128-115 loss to the Bucks on Sunday.

Fox turned in a fifth-straight inefficient outing. Since missing one game due to a knee injury, the fourth-year guard has really struggled scoring wise, averaging 18.3 points on 44.3 percent shooting from the field and just 16.7 percent from three. So, the knee may still be bothering him because he was on fire, averaging 30.2 points per game in the seven games prior to his one game absence. Despite the recent struggles, Fox is still having a strong year, averaging a career-high 22.7 points and also adding 7.0 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.

Fox compiled 20 points (7-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-9 FT), nine assists, three rebounds and two steals across 40 minutes in Saturday's 122-114 loss to the Bulls.

The efficient night from Fox couldn't stop the Kings' current skid, but the team had its chances to overtake Chicago until the final minutes. The point guard's numbers have see-sawed since his one-game absence, and it appears that he's still favoring the knee that forced him to miss last week's game against the Magic.

Fox compiled 11 points (5-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 assists, four rebounds and a steal across 32 minutes in Thursday's 118-110 loss to the Heat.

Fox's double-double was efficient but not spectacular. His scoring is heading in the wrong direction after a one-game absence, diving from 23 to 19, and now down to 11 points in Thursday's loss.

Fox scored 19 points (8-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding eight assists, three rebounds and two steals in 34 minutes during Monday's 136-125 loss to the Nets.

It's the first time in his last nine games Fox hasn't reached 20 points. The 23-year-old has found another gear over the last month, averaging 27.7 points, 8.4 assists, 3.8 boards, 2.4 threes and 1.2 steals through his last 13 contests, and while the lineup around him remains in flux as Kings coach Luke Walton tries to find a winning combination, Fox's fantasy value is at an all-time high.

Fox carried his team in the win Sunday. The guard out produced in the point column by 14 points (Buddy Hield-22). He also just barely missed out on another double-double for the season. He was unusually off at the line and struggled from the arc again. Nonetheless, he is one of the main point getters for the Kings and is a fantastic streaming option for multiple categories.

Fox delivered 26 points (9-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 11 assists, two steals and a rebound across 38 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Celtics.

Fox ended a streak of two straight games with at least 30 points, but he also extended his run of 24 or more points to four contests. In fact, Fox has scored at least 20 points in seven of his last eight appearances, a span in which he's also averaged 8.8 assists per game. Those numbers make Fox the undisputed leader of Sacramento's offense, both as a scorer and as a playmaker.

Fox surpassed the 35-point mark for the second time this season and both games have come against the Pelicans -- he previously scored a season-high 43 points on Jan. 17. Fox has also scored 20 or more points in six of his last seven appearances, and his role as Sacramento's go-to guy on offense gives him a decent floor across most formats, while also possessing the upside to takeover games on any given night.

That, along with his usage rate, make him an excellent fantasy asset across all formats.

Otherwise, Fox's line lacked impressive production as he failed to record at least five assists for the first time in four games. Despite the relatively quiet performance, Fox remains a strong contributor of points, assists and steals on a regular basis.

Fox went for 16 points (4-17 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 10 assists, eight rebounds and one block across 39 minutes in the Kings' 121-107 win over the Magic on Tuesday.

Fox had gone three straight games scoring over 20 points prior to Tuesday's outing. His 23.5 percent shooting was easily the worst of the young season. Though he struggled shooting, his 10 assists were the second most he's dished out this year and the eight rebounds were a season high. Fox has also made a home at the charity stripe, getting to the free throw line eight times in five of his last six games.

Fox finished with 43 points (17-27 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 13 assists, and four boards in 39 minutes of a 128-123 loss to New Orleans on Sunday.

Fox set a new career best in points and was just two assists off from matching another career high in the contest. He'll have a few days off before he'll try to avenge last week's loss to the Clippers in a rematch on Wednesday.

Until he stops being the focal point of the team, he will still remain viable.

The guard was especially good from the free throw line as he missed just one shot from the charity stripe. It's been a good start to the season through two games for Fox and if he can stay healthy a career year could be on tap.

The Kings finally got their first win in orlando and did so in a big way, putting up 49 points in the first quarter and finishing with 140. Fox was effective on both ends, adding three steals and a block in addition to his 30-10 double-double.
