Although he struggled recently against Memphis, he averaged 18.5 points, 4.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 steals in the four games following Sabonis' injury.

DeRozan closed Thursday's 137-96 loss to Memphis with seven points (2-3 FG, 3-3 FT), two assists and one steal in 15 minutes.

DeRozan had his worst output of the season by a wide margin. The seven-point margin was the third time he failed to reach the 10-point mark in three of his last five outings over that stretch. DeRozan is a veteran who needs to play a role in this team, and he isn't playing it. As long as he continues to put up these numbers, his upside will remain close to minimal.

The 27 points led the Kings, as DeRozan snapped out of a brief scoring slump that had seen him manage only 10 points total over the prior two games on 4-for-16 shooting. The 36-year-old may be showing his age. Through 14 contests, DeRozan is averaging just 18.9 points -- which would be his lowest mark in a season since 2012-13 -- along with 3.5 assists, 3.3 boards, 1.1 steals and 0.9 threes.

DeRozan closed with 22 points (7-11 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal across 29 minutes during Sunday's 144-117 loss to the Timberwolves.

DeRozan was a bright spot in an otherwise dreadful night for the Kings -- not a single starter eclipsed 30 minutes due to the lopsided score. The Kings are off to a shaky 3-7 start, and if things don't turn around soon, the rumor mill is likely to start churning.

DeRozan finished Saturday's 135-133 win over the Bucks with 29 points (10-19 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 9-10 FT), four rebounds and three assists across 41 minutes.

Although his production outside the scoring department was relatively light, DeRozan matched a season high with 29 points. The star forward is now up to three 20-point performances so far this season, and he should remain a rock-solid fantasy player going forward. DeRozan has averaged 20.7 points, 4.8 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 37.2 minutes per game across his first six outings.

DeRozan ended Sunday's 127-120 loss to the Lakers with 21 points (9-22 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 40 minutes.

After managing just seven points on 3-for-9 shooting in Friday's win over the Jazz, DeRozan bounced back to drop at least 20 points for the second time in three games to begin the season. DeRozan was pestered constantly by Dillon Brooks during the loss, but the veteran was still able to find plenty of open spots. DeRozan and LaVine were responsible for 59 of Sacramento's 116 points, and they will continue as the offensive engines while Domantas Sabonis (hamstring). Even when Sabonis returns, DeRozan and LaVine will still be prolific fantasy producers.

DeRozan (groin) isn't listed on the Kings' injury report for Wednesday's game against the Suns.

As one of Sacramento's best offensive weapons, DeRozan will be a consistent contributor who can be acquired a little later than one might think in fantasy drafts. The veteran averaged a respectable 22.2 points, 4.4 assists, 3-9 rebounds and 0.8 steals over 77 games last season.

DeRozan ended with eight points (4-9 FG) and five assists over 28 minutes during Sunday's 109-98 victory over Phoenix.

Similar to Zach LaVine and Domantas Sabonis, DeRozan was limited Sunday in a game that didn't matter much for the Kings. The star forward should handle a much bigger role in Wednesday's matchup against the Mavericks in the Play-In Tournament, though. He averaged 24.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game in the 52 games in which he logged 35 or more minutes in the regular season.

The veteran forward has been the most consistent and productive player for the Kings this season. The veteran forward has posted 20-plus points in six of his last seven appearances, and he has 37 total games with at least 20 points across 60 regular-season games. Over that seven-game span, DeRozan has averaged 23.3 points, 6.3 assists and 4.6 rebounds across 36.7 minutes per contest.

DeRozan supplied 11 points (4-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one rebound, five assists and one steal across 28 minutes during Monday's 133-104 loss to the Knicks.

DeRozan couldn't get going in Monday's loss to New York, as he had one of his worst scoring performances of the season for the Kings, finishing with 11 points. The 35-year-old veteran has scored 11 or fewer points for Sacramento five times this season.

DeRozan ended Sunday's 111-110 overtime loss to the Clippers with 31 points (9-20 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 12-12 FT), seven rebounds, 10 assists and one steal across 44 minutes.

DeRozan stepped up in a big way for the Kings with his first double-double of the campaign, but it wasn't enough in the overtime loss. DeRozan has been on a heater for the Kings, posting top-30 value in nine-category formats over his last 10 games with 24.4 points, 6.0 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1.8 three-pointers. The high usage could continue with Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) and Malik Monk (toe) currently banged up.

DeRozan registered 35 points (14-32 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and five assists across 42 minutes during Wednesday's 116-110 loss to the Nuggets.

Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) has no timetable for a return, and the Kings desperately need more nights like these from DeRozan. The veteran has demonstrated the ability to take over games in the right situation, and Sacramento's short-handed interior allowed him to play a bigger role as the slashing sharpshooter made shots all over the floor.

DeRozan contributed 21 points (7-18 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 6-7 FT), two rebounds and six assists in 40 minutes during Saturday's 113-103 win over the Rockets.

DeRozan reached the 20-point mark after not doing so in the previous two games, but even in games where he doesn't achieve that feat, the veteran forward remains an influential cog on the Kings' offensive scheme. He's averaging 23.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game in four outings since the All-Star break.

DeRozan closed Friday's 132-108 loss to the Warriors with 34 points (10-14 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 10-10 FT), four rebounds, six assists and one steal in 34 minutes.

The Kings are searching for more production after De'Aaron Fox's departure, and DeRozan was able to deliver despite the poor outcome. The veteran enjoyed an accurate night of shooting, and he definitely looks more comfortable with former teammate Zach LaVine joining him on the floor.

DeRozan totaled 20 points (5-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 9-9 FT), five assists and four rebounds across 43 minutes during Thursday's 140-133 overtime loss to the Pelicans.

DeRozan finished as the fourth member of the Kings to score 20 or more points Thursday, a feat he has now accomplished in four of his last five outings. However, the veteran forward delivered a lackluster performance from the field while scoring nearly half of his points from the charity stripe. Over his last five outings, the 35-year-old has averaged 23.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists across 37.6 minutes per game. He has shot 50.6 percent from the field and 39.1 percent from beyond the arc in that five-game span.

DeRozan posted 42 points (15-22 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 8-8 FT), seven rebounds and three assists across 39 minutes in Monday's 129-128 overtime win over the Mavericks.

DeRozan delivered a stellar bounce-back performance after scoring only 11 points and shooting 4-for-12 from the field during Saturday's win over the Pelicans. The veteran forward was the only member of the Kings to score more than 20 points, recording a game- and season-high 42 points. Moreover, the 35-year-old also sank a game-winning floater to seal the deal in overtime. DeRozan has logged eight outings with 30-plus points through 48 regular-season appearances, and his four three-pointers Monday also tied his season high.

Sacramento's revamped starting five is still gelling, but DeRozan may end up seeing his production get a boost if De'Aaron Fox's distribution duties get spread out -- the veteran forward has recorded seven assists in two of three games since Fox was dealt to San Antonio.

The reunion of DeRozan and Zach LaVine was highly anticipated but failed to meet expectations in Wednesday's loss. The duo enjoyed successful campaigns together with Chicago, and while one should expect future fireworks for the tandem, it may take some time for the team to adjust to LaVine's addition.

DeRozan ended Monday's 116-114 win over the Timberwolves with a game-high 33 points (14-25 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and seven assists over 38 minutes.

With De'Aaron Fox headed to San Antonio and Zach LaVine not yet ready to make his Sacramento debut. DeRozan stepped up and produced his best scoring effort since Jan. 16. DeRozan and LaVine played together for three seasons in Chicago, which should make the latter's adjustment easier while allowing the former to maintain his usual usage. If rumored trade candidate De'Aaron Fox is ultimately shipped away ahead of the Feb. 6 deadline, DeRozan could have even more ball-handling responsibilities on his plate down the stretch of the campaign.

DeRozan surpassed the 25-point mark for the third time over his last four outings and has reached the 30-point plateau twice in that stretch, so it's safe to say the struggles he endured during the final two weeks of December are in the rearview. DeRozan has been operating as the Kings' No. 2 option on offense, even ahead of De'Aaron Fox in recent weeks, and he's averaging a solid line of 25.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game since the beginning of January.

DeRozan contributed 24 points (9-21 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals across 38 minutes during Sunday's 123-100 victory over Washington.

DeRozan didn't have his best shooting performance and missed all four of his three-point attempts, but he still found a way to clear the 20-point plateau. This was his sixth straight game with 20 or more points, averaging 26.7 points, 4.2 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game in that span.

DeRozan led the way for the Kings and came through in the clutch with a couple of key buckets down the stretch. This was the second time he recorded at least 30 points in his last five games, a span in which he's averaging a robust 27.2 points per game while shooting 40 percent from three-point range.

Domantas Sabonis stole the show with an impressive triple-double, but DeRozan was excellent as a scoring weapon and reached the 30-point mark for the first time since late November. Even though his recent numbers have been subpar compared to his standards, this 30-point effort might be what gets him going.

DeRozan accumulated 12 points (5-14 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one assist and one steal over 31 minutes during Sunday's 129-99 victory over Golden State.

Although DeRozan logged 31 minutes, he suffered through a slow shooting night and produced a low total. The return of Keegan Murray didn't help matters, as the two players are negatively correlated on occasion. Sunday's result was a massive regression from his 29-point performance against Memphis, but the veteran forward still has significant fantasy value as one of Sacramento's best contributors.

Although Malik Monk stole the show Friday night, DeRozan also had a potent night, making plays all over the floor. DeRozan picked the slack during Keegan Murray's (ankle) absence, and he combined a solid shooting night with defensive prowess inside. He should excel while the team is short-handed, and his numbers will become slightly more volatile upon Murray's return.

DeRozan recorded 14 points (6-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds and two assists over 25 minutes during Monday's 110-100 victory over the Mavericks.

DeRozan has struggled in the scoring department as of late, which continued Monday against the Mavericks. The veteran guard has scored 19 or more only twice over the last seven games, adding to the Kings' woes heading into the new year.

DeRozan accumulated 25 points (12-17 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 41 minutes during Saturday's 132-122 loss to the Lakers.

DeRozan snapped a five-game streak in which he didn't reach the 20-point mark, but volume aside, he was very efficient and missed just five of his 17 shots from the field. DeRozan averaged at least 22.5 points per game separately in October and November, but that number has plummeted to 18.8 points per tilt across 12 outings in December.

DeRozan's 10 points marked his second-lowest scoring total of the season on a night where the Kings could have used a solid total against the Lakers. Although DeRozan's secondary numbers have been relatively steady, his scoring totals have bounced around quite a bit over the past few weeks. Shot volume hasn't been a problem, but his three-point percentage of 30.6 percent has certainly put a dent in his production at times. Still, DeRozan's addition has proven to be a shrewd move by the Kings, who needed a solid third scoring option to take the franchise to the next level.

DeRozan had an impressive showing Thursday and extended his productive stretch, as he's scored at least 20 points in four of his last six outings. Even though the veteran forward shares the bulk of the scoring load with De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis, DeRozan has a strong floor as a versatile scorer who can thrive even when he's not the main offensive option. He's averaging 23.3 points per game since the beginning of December while also adding 3.7 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.8 steals per contest.

DeRozan accumulated 26 points (6-15 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 13-14 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 35 minutes during Thursday's 115-110 loss to the Grizzlies.

DeRozan didn't have his best performance from an efficiency perspective, but he still led the Kings in scoring in what turned out to be a tight loss. DeRozan has adjusted well into the Kings' offensive scheme and he's been hitting the 20-point mark regularly, doing so in three of his last four contests and in 13 of his 18 appearances in the campaign.

This was a quiet performance by DeRozan's standards, as he's had a tremendous season for the Kings. With 17 regular-season appearances under his belt, DeRozan has averaged 22.5 points, 4.4 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals, putting him on pace for a top-40 finish in nine-category formats.

The veteran forward has been a rock for the Bulls during their playoff push, and over 10 healthy games in March he's averaging 26.7 points, 6.1 boards, 5.8 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.4 threes.

DeRozan finished Friday's 139-131 double-overtime win over the Timberwolves with 49 points (15-25 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 17-18 FT), 14 rebounds, four assists and three steals across 52 minutes.

DeRozan's 49 points mark a new season high, and it's the third highest scoring game of his career. Chicago was clutch to close this game out, outscoring Minnesota 33-23 in the fourth quarter to send the game to overtime. The Bulls have won three of their past four games, but they will have a tough challenge Saturday against Miami for the second leg of the back-to-back.

DeRozan turned in a well-rounded fantasy performance that included rare contributions in the blocks and three-pointers categories, but he hasn't quite been the pillar in the free-throw percentage category that fantasy managers were likely hoping for. After the 7-for-10 showing Saturday, DeRozan is now converting at a substandard 73.2 percent rate on 6.8 attempts per game over his last six contests. He's still maintaining a respectable 86.8 percent rate from the line on the season, however, so fantasy managers can likely view his recent struggles as a minor blip on the radar.

Fantasy managers naturally shouldn't expect that kind of production to continue from a player who averages less than one per game over his entire career.

He's now scored 25 or more points in three of six games this month, shooting 49 percent from the field over that stretch.

Clarity on DeRozan's status may not arrive one way or the other until closer to the 7 p.m. ET tipoff, but if the 33-year-old is sidelined, the Bulls may have to move Patrick Williams up from power forward to start at small forward in DeRozan's stead. Chicago could also make more use of its depth at guard by shifting Zach LaVine to small forward, which would open up more playing time out of the backcourt for the likes of Goran Dragic, Coby White and Alex Caruso (ankle).

DeRozan (quadriceps) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Wizards.

DeRozan exited Monday's loss to the Celtics early due to a strained right quad. He's avoided a severe issue, though, as he may play as soon as Wednesday. The veteran hasn't missed a game this season and is having another strong campaign for the Bulls despite the team's struggles. If DeRozan sits, more usage should be available for Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic, while more minutes may be in store for Coby White, Alex Caruso and Derrick Jones.

DeRozan is day-to-day after exiting Monday's game against the Celtics with a right quadricep strain, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.

DeRozan noted after the contest that he's been battling a quad injury for the last eight games, but he was unable to play through the issue Monday evening after he felt his quad contract, per Johnson. The star forward is headed for treatment over the next few days with the hope of being ready to play Wednesday in Washington.

DeRozan won't return to Monday's game against the Celtics due to a right quadricep strain.

The extent of DeRozan's injury is unclear at this time, and he'll be considered day-to-day moving forward. Expect Patrick Williams and Derrick Jones to play larger roles down the stretch of Monday's matchup.

DeRozan chipped in 22 points (8-20 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 35 minutes during Wednesday's 121-112 victory over the Nets.

It's a common sight to see DeRozan reaching the 20-point mark for the Bulls, as the veteran has settled as the team's go-to player -- ahead of Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic -- and the numbers back that up. He's on a run of 10 straight games with at least 20 points while also averaging 5.7 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.7 steals per game in that stretch.

DeRozan logged 44 points (16-32 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 10-12 FT), three rebounds, four assists, one block and four steals over 46 minutes during Monday's 145-134 overtime loss to the Cavaliers.

It's the fourth time this season DeRozan has dropped 40 or more points, and the second time in the last four games, but it wasn't enough Monday as Donovan Mitchell trumped him with a Cleveland record 71. DeRozan is in the zone right now, scoring more than 20 in nine straight games and averaging 29.6 points, 5.8 assists, 5.6 boards and 1.8 steals over that stretch.

DeRozan totaled 22 points (9-19 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one steal over 35 minutes during Friday's 132-118 win over the Pistons.

DeRozan wasn't as efficient as he's been in past games, but he still found a way to extend his streak of games with 20 or more points to seven contests. The veteran forward continues to play at a high level for the Bulls and is averaging 26.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game this month.

DeRozan supplied 42 points (15-25 FG, 12-14 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals across 44 minutes during Wednesday's 119-113 overtime win over the Bucks.

DeRozan was outscored in this one by Giannis Antetokounmpo on the other side, but DeRozan was able to power his team to victory by pouring in 10 points during the overtime period. He got to the charity stripe with ease during this five-minute period, as he attempted and drilled six free throws. The USC product also had a strong game on the defensive end and has now tallied a steal in six of his last seven matchups.

DeRozan closed Monday's 133-118 loss to the Rockets with 31 points (11-18 FG, 9-10 FT), five rebounds, nine assists and one steal over 41 minutes.

DeRozan ended just one assist shy from recording what would've been his third double-double of the season. The veteran forward has flourished as a playmaker in recent years and is currently averaging 5.0 assists per contest, but he's also a reliable scorer and is putting up 26.0 points per tilt. That dual-threat ability makes him Chicago's most reliable fantasy performer ahead of options such as Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic.

DeRozan tallied 25 points (9-21 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and a block in 37 minutes in Friday's 118-117 win over New York.

DeRozan nailed a 22-footer with 0.4 seconds remaining to give the Bulls the lead. It was his second double-double of the season with both coming in December. The 33-year-old has scored at least 24 points in eight of the last nine games and is averaging 26.8 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.4 assists while making 51.2 percent of his shots in that span.

DeRozan closed Wednesday's 110-108 victory over the Hawks with 28 points (12-23 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one steal in 38 minutes.

DeRozan scored 10 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter as the Bulls held on and earned the win. It was the seventh time in his last eight games that he scored at least 24 points as he's averaging 27.0 points while making 52.4 percent of his shots in that span. While he missed two of his six free-throw attempts Wednesday, he's still making 88.8 percent of his tries from the foul line this year, the best mark of his career.

DeRozan finished with 24 points (9-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds and five assists across 40 minutes during Tuesday's 113-103 victory over the Heat.

DeRozan looked sharp from the field and thrived in both the mid-range and close-range game, making the defense pay time and time again they didn't close him out on coverage. He's been excellent of late despite Chicago's struggles and has scored at least 24 points in six of his last seven contests, averaging 26.9 points per game in that span.

DeRozan chipped in 32 points (8-18 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 16-17 FT), five rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 40 minutes during Wednesday's 128-120 overtime loss to the Knicks.

DeRozan failed to connect on two attempts from beyond the arc, but he reached the 30-point threshold for his second straight contest and also tied his best mark of the season with two blocks. The veteran forward has logged 40 or more minutes in back-to-back games and has rewarded his squad by stuffing the stat sheet in each matchup.

DeRozan posted 34 points (10-21 FG, 14-15 FT), 13 rebounds and eight assists across 45 minutes during Sunday's 123-122 overtime loss to the Hawks.

DeRozan put up some monster numbers in the loss, and capped it off by hitting three straight free throws at the end of overtime to give the Bulls the lead with less than a second to go. He involved himself just about everywhere in this game, even setting a new season high in rebounds. Still, the former Trojan failed to record a single steal or block for the fourth time in five contests. This performance puts his season averages at 26.0 points (on 50.7 percent shooting), 7.4 made free throws, 5.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.

DeRozan racked up 28 points (9-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 9-9 FT), nine rebounds and five assists over 32 minutes during Saturday's 144-115 victory over the Mavericks.

DeRozan scored 13 of his game-high 28 points in the second quarter on 3-of-3 shooting from the field and also knocked down all seven of his free-throw attempts as Chicago stormed out to an 82-53 lead at the break. He added 11 points in the second half on 5-of-8 shooting, though he didn't have to do much else with the Bulls already holding a commanding lead. DeRozan has scored 25 or more points in nine of his last 11 games while his nine rebounds on the night were a season high.

DeRozan produced 27 points (11-21 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one block over 37 minutes during Wednesday's 115-111 win over Washington.

DeRozan has cleared the 25-point mark in eight of his last 10 appearances, and even when he couldn't accomplish that feat, he still posted solid scoring numbers. The veteran forward has gone six straight games without making a three-pointer, but he's making the most of his ability as one of the best mid-range shooters in the league. DeRozan is averaging 27.9 points per game in that 10-game span.

DeRozan finished Friday's 119-111 loss to the Warriors with 16 points (4-15 FG, 8-9 FT), six rebounds and seven assists across 36 minutes.

DeRozan had trouble finding the bottom of the net Friday, going just 4-for-15 from the field. He compensated by going 8-for-9 from the charity stripe and adding seven assists and six boards while turning the ball over only once. This was DeRozan's first game with fewer than 20 points since Nov. 13 -- he came into Friday averaging 31.1 points on 53.5 percent shooting over his previous seven contests.

DeRozan registered 26 points (9-20 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-9 FT), four rebounds, six assists and one steal across 36 minutes during Monday's 114-107 win over the Jazz.

DeRozan once again led Chicago in scoring during Monday's victory, posting his sixth straight game of at least 20 points. DeRozan led the team in shots made and attempted from the free throw line, also tying a team-high in assists against Utah.

DeRozan had 30 points (12-27 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-8 FT), four rebounds, six assists and two steals across 42 minutes during Friday's 123-119 overtime loss to the Thunder.

DeRozan led the team with 30 points in the overtime win. While his usage had been oddly inconsistent from game to game this season, this does mark four straight games where he's attempted at least 24 shots. In those games, the five-time NBA All-Star is averaging 33.8 points on 50 percent shooting.

DeRozan had 36 points (14-24 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), four rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and one steal in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 118-113 win over the Bucks.

DeRozan contributed defensively and as a playmaker, but most of his value remains tied to his scoring prowess and the veteran forward certainly made an impact here. This was his fourth straight game with at least 28 points and the fifth time he reaches that mark across his last six appearances. DeRozan has had two forgettable performances this month, but he's still averaging a robust 26.0 points per game across 11 November appearances.

DeRozan finished with 41 points (16-30 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 8-9 FT), four rebounds and two assists over 44 minutes during Friday's 108-107 loss to the Magic.

DeRozan delivered one of his best scoring performances of the season, but even that was not enough to secure the victory against a Magic team that didn't have their best player in Paolo Banchero (ankle). This was his second game of the season with at least 40 points and Chicago has lost both contests. The former Raptors and Spurs star remains an elite scorer despite some off performances in the current month, and he should remain Chicago's biggest offensive threat due to the inconsistencies Zach LaVine has been going through at times. DeRozan is averaging 24.7 points per game in November despite having two outings in which he couldn't reach the 10-point plateau.

DeRozan had 28 points (11-15 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-7 FT), four rebounds and seven assists across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 124-110 loss to the Pelicans.

DeRozan was clearly locked in from the field in this one, and he also dished out seven assists for the second time in four games. The star forward experienced an uncharacteristic game Nov. 7 against Toronto (nine points), but he's had a strong month of November to this point, averaging 22.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.1 steals over eight contests.

DeRozan recorded 33 points (14-26 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block across 37 minutes in Wednesday's 115-111 loss against the Pelicans.

DeRozan was coming off a woeful nine-point performance against the Raptors on Monday, but he bounced back admirably here and delivered his third-best scoring output of the season. The veteran forward has had a few forgettable performances over the last few weeks, but the fact that he's still scored at least 20 points in six of his last eight games suggests he should remain a trusted scoring presence in all formats, and that those bad games are nothing but bumps on the road that happen even to the best players in the league.

DeRozan had nine points (2-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 36 minutes during Monday's 111-97 win over Toronto.

It was an unusual night for DeRozan who had the fewest shot attempts among all five Bulls starters, and the second straight game Toronto held him to single-digit attempts. He seemed to see a lot of double-teams, which forced him to distribute the ball more. His six shot attempts were a season low, but that also resulted in his season-high seven assists.

DeRozan closed with 46 points (13-23 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 20-22 FT), three rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals over 36 minutes during Friday's 123-119 loss to the Celtics.

DeRozan bounced back Friday night with a season-high 46 points after going a combined 10-for-31 from the field over his last two games. His free-throw shooting continues to be stellar, but the volume of attempts has really given his fantasy value a boost. The Chicago veteran has already attempted double-digit free throws in five games this season.

DeRozan provided 20 points (8-21 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals over 33 minutes during Tuesday's 108-99 win over the Nets.

It's the third straight game in which DeRozan has delivered at least 20 points, and the sixth time in eight contests to begin the season. The veteran wing is enjoying another productive campaign as one of the key pieces in the Bulls' offense, averaging 25.1 points, 4.1 assists, 3.5 boards and 1.1 steals through eight games.

DeRozan racked up 24 points (7-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 9-10 FT), three rebounds and four assists across 34 minutes during Saturday's 114-109 loss to the 76ers.

DeRozan thrived from mid-range and delivered an efficient performance, but his efforts were not enough to carry the Bulls to victory. His numbers have stalled a bit of late, but that was to be expected with the return of Zach LaVine to the starting unit. Still, the veteran forward has scored at least 20 points in five of his seven appearances this season.

DeRozan accumulated 33 points (11-20 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 11-12 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal across 36 minutes during Friday's 129-124 loss to San Antonio.

DeRozan became the 54th player in history to surpass 20,000 career points, turning in a sleek offensive performance. Unfortunately, the Bulls fell short of the mark, losing out to the Spurs in a game they really should have penciled in as a victory. DeRozan also failed to add anything of value to his boxscore, leaving this as a bit of an empty night.

DeRozan closed with 17 points (6-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT), one rebound and six assists in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 124-109 victory over the Pacers.

DeRozan was far from his best in the win, delivering ample, yet underwhelming production. After a fast start to the season, the veteran has cooled off lately, coinciding with the return of Zach LaVine. Coming off his best fantasy season to date, managers were a little skeptical that he would be able to repeat those efforts again in 2022-23. With that said, he is one of the most consistent fantasy assets around and should be a lock for top-50 value moving forward.

DeRozan recorded 25 points (10-17 FG, 5-5 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Monday's 120-102 victory over the Celtics.

DeRozan surpassed the 30-point mark in the first two games of the season, but things have changed dramatically since the return of Zach LaVine to the starting lineup and now DeRozan has scored a combined 38 points over his last two contests. He still led Chicago in scoring in this one, and that has been the case in three of the team's four games to date, but his numbers are expected to decrease a bit with LaVine now back in the mix.

DeRozan closed Friday's 102-100 loss to the Wizards with 32 points (11-23 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 10-11 FT), six rebounds, six assists and one steal over 37 minutes.

DeRozan has been tasked to carry the team offensively knowing that both Lonzo Ball (knee) and Zach LaVine (knee) remain sidelined, and the veteran forward has surpassed the 30-point mark in the first two games of the campaign while also putting up solid rebounding and passing numbers. Expect him to remain as Chicago's go-to offensive threat in most nights, though at some point he'll stop putting up 30-point performances on a game-to-game basis.

DeRozan contributed 37 points (14-22 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 7-11 FT), six rebounds, nine assists, one block and two steals across 36 minutes during Wednesday's 116-108 win over Miami.

The veteran forward had an excellent performance in the season opener and aside from ending just one assist shy of a double-double, he also led the team in scoring and proved to be a threat on both ends of the court. While DeRozan is not going to surpass -- or hover around -- the 30-point mark on a game-to-game basis, his role as one of the Bulls' main offensive weapons shouldn't be under any sort of question.

DeRozan will not play Tuesday against the Bucks for rest purposes, Rob Schaefer of NBC Sports Chicago reports.

DeRozan is simply taking a night off to close out the regular season, and there shouldn't be any real worry surrounding his status for the regular-season opener against the Heat on Oct. 19.

DeRozan compiled 21 points (7-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-7 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists and three steals in 27 minutes in a 115-98 win Sunday in Toronto.

DeRozan filled the box score Sunday and recorded his third 20-point performance in as many games this preseason. He came out of the game with three minutes left in the third quarter and stayed on the bench for the remainder of the contest. He is averaging 21.3 points while shooting 58.3 percent from the field and 22-for-23 from the free-throw line in the preseason.

DeRozan logged 11 points (5-10 FG, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, seven assists and three steals across 43 minutes during Wednesday's 116-100 loss to the Bucks.

Neutralized Wednesday, DeRozan's 41-point outburst in Game 2 marked Chicago's only win of the series against Milwaukee. Outside of that performance, DeRozan averaged 15.8 points per game on 35.9 percent shooting. Despite the unceremonious exit, DeRozan caps off a historic season that will yield a few MVP votes.

DeRozan logged 23 points (8-20 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal across 41 minutes during Sunday's 119-95 loss to Milwaukee.

Coming off of a quiet outing in Friday's Game 3 blowout loss (11 points; 4-9 FG), DeRozan notched his second 20-plus-point effort of the series, but it wasn't nearly enough to prevent Chicago from falling down 3-1. DeRozan was fantastic in the Bulls' Game 2 upset victory (41 points, seven rebounds, four assists), but in the three losses he's gone 6-of-25, 4-of-9 and now 8-of-20 from the field.

DeRozan notched 11 points (4-9 FG, 3-5 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one steal over 32 minutes during Friday's 111-81 loss to the Bucks.

DeRozan has been extremely inconsistent so far in the series, failing to reach the 20-point mark in both losses while exploding for 41 points in the team's lone win. The veteran forward is averaging 23.3 points per game in the series.

DeRozan posted 41 points (16-31 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 9-9 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal in 44 minutes during Wednesday's 114-110 win over the Bucks.

DeRozan helped Chicago pull out the critical road victory with a career-playoff-high 41 points. The star forward did a little bit of everything in the contest, chipping in seven rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a steal while going a perfect 9-for-9 from the charity stripe. DeRozan struggled with just 18 points on 6-for-25 shooting in Game 1, but he showed Wednesday that the Bulls have a shot to dethrone the defending champions if he can put forth the type of performances that put him in the MVP conversation during the regular season.

DeRozan registered 18 points (6-25 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and three steals in 43 minutes during Sunday's 93-86 loss to Milwaukee.

It was a disastrous night, offensively, for the Bulls, who shot just 32.3 percent from the field as a team, including 7-of-37 from downtown. While they were able to hang around thanks to an almost equally poor effort from Milwaukee (40.5% FG; 10-38 3PT; 21 turnovers), the Bulls were unable to overcome DeRozan, Nikola Vucevic (9-27 FG) and Zach LaVine (6-19 FG) combining to shoot 21-of-71 from the floor. It goes without saying that if Chicago is going to have a chance to pull what would be a major upset, it will need more from its best player. The series resumes Wednesday night with Game 2 in Milwaukee.

DeRozan will not play in Sunday's game against the Timberwolves due to rest.

Chicago is locked into the No. 6 seed and resting its key players in the regular-season finale. Plenty of bench players should see expanded roles.

DeRozan notched 17 points (7-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), one rebound and one assist in 30 minutes during Friday's 133-117 loss to the Hornets.

DeRozan failed to reach the 20-point plateau for the second game in a row, something that had happened just three times throughout the season. That speaks volumes of how consistent DeRozan has been on the offensive end of the court and with the Bulls gearing up for the playoffs, there's no question DeRozan will be a key piece for them on crunch time. Despite the struggles this week, DeRozan is still averaging 28.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists over his last 10 appearances.

DeRozan ended with 16 points (6-16 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, five assists and two steals over 33 minutes during Wednesday's 117-94 loss to the Celtics.

The Bulls seemed largely uninspired in this game, and DeRozan certainly did not play to his potential. As the team's primary offensive weapon, it's a bad time for DeRozan to struggle, as they'll need him dialed in against a potentially tough first-round opponent, which will most likely be the Bucks.

DeRozan tallied 40 points (16-26 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 8-8 FT), six assists, three rebounds and one steal during Tuesday's 127-106 loss to the Bucks.

DeRozan erupted offensively once again, as this was his second time reaching the 40-point mark since totaling 50 points against the Clippers last Thursday. His 20-point outburst in the third quarter alone was more than the second highest scorer on the team (Patrick Williams' 18 points). The forward is averaging 38.7 points across his past three performances.

DeRozan supplied 26 points (6-18 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 13-13 FT), one rebound, two assists and one steal across 38 minutes during Saturday's 127-109 loss to the Heat.

Facing his former Raptor running mate Kyle Lowry, DeRozan delivered another big performance but didn't get enough help to pull down a win. The veteran wing continues to play power forward in an undersized Chicago lineup, but he's still scored at least 20 points in seven straight games, averaging 30.3 points, 4.7 boards, 3.4 assists, 1.0 threes and 0.9 steals over that stretch.

DeRozan finished with 50 points (17-26 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 14-15 FT), five rebounds, six assists and one steal in 43 minutes during Thursday's 135-130 overtime victory over the Clippers.

DeRozan ended the third quarter having posted 23 points, but he saved his best for last in a thrilling performance. The veteran forward scored 17 in the fourth quarter and 10 more in overtime to guide Chicago to a closely contested victory. This was DeRozan's top scoring game of the season and second 50-point game of his career -- his previous such effort came Jan. 1, 2018, in an overtime win over Milwaukee. DeRozan has been incredible over his past three games, averaging 39.7 points on 51.9 percent shooting from the field while going 33-for-34 (97.1 percent) from the charity stripe.

DeRozan notched 32 points (12-27 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-7 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and two steals across 36 minutes during Tuesday's 107-94 win over the Wizards.

DeRozan topped the scoring list again Tuesday, something that has been a common theme thus far this season. Outside of a drop in efficiency of late, DeRozan has continued to put together his best season from both a fantasy and a reality standpoint. The Bulls remain in the hunt for a top-four seed and so DeRozan will be front and center as they push for wins down the stretch.

DeRozan finished with 20 points (8-17 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds and two assists over 35 minutes during Saturday's 98-94 win over the Cavaliers.

DeRozan was somewhat inefficient but still came through with a serviceable performance Saturday. After a brief stint on the sidelines, he looked completely fine, logging 35 minutes despite racking up five fouls. The Bulls will be looking to win as many games as possible before the regular season comes to a close and so DeRozan should be looking at a strong finish to the season.

DeRozan (hip) will play Saturday against the Cavaliers, Cody Westerlund of 670TheScore.com reports.

DeRozan sat out Chicago's last game with a hip injury, but he was expected to return Saturday and will do just that. He has been busy against Cleveland this season, averaging 27.5 points and 38 minutes over two appearances.

DeRozan (hip) is probable Saturday against the Cavaliers.

DeRozan should be back in the fold following a one-game absence due to a strained left adductor. In March, he's averaged 24.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.9 assists in 37.8 minutes.

DeRozan (hip) is listed as out for Thursday's game at New Orleans.

DeRozan popped up on the injury report Wednesday night with a strained adductor, which he presumably suffered during Tuesday's blowout loss to Milwaukee. The Bulls will exercise caution and hold the All-Star out Thursday, giving him three full days off before Saturday's game at Cleveland. Zach LaVine (knee) is listed as available for Chicago.

DeRozan is questionable for Thursday's game against the Pelicans due to a strained left adductor.

DeRozan presumably suffered the injury during Tuesday's loss to the Bucks, where he shot 10-for-23 for 21 points. If he sits Thursday, it would mark his first absence since Jan. 24, and during this stretch, he's averaged 29.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.0 steals. An absence could open up more minutes for Coby White, Alex Caruso and Ayo Dosunmu.

DeRozan finished with 21 points (10-23 FG, 1-5 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 36 minutes during Tuesday's 126-98 loss to the Bucks.

DeRozan needed 23 shots to each 21 points and didn't make it to the free-throw line during a lackluster performance. The entire Bulls' team lacked burst during Tuesday's blowout, as they lost for a fourth time over their last five contests. During that stretch, DeRozan has averaged 22.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 36.0 minutes per game.

DeRozan was highly efficient during the win, a nice turnaround from what he has been doing over the past two weeks. During that span, his field goal percentage has fallen below 48 percent. While that in itself is more than adequate, it is well down from what he had been doing during his record-breaking run of games in excess of 50 percent. Clearly, this is just nitpicking and if anything, it highlights just how impressive DeRozan has been during his first season in Chicago.

DeRozan amassed 25 points (10-20 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and seven assists over 35 minutes during Wednesday's 125-110 loss to Utah.

DeRozan took a backseat to Zach LaVine in terms of scoring in this one, but the veteran forward still provided an excellent performance while also excelling as a distributor. In fact, he's dished out at least five assists in all but one of his past seven contests while scoring 20 or more points each time out as well.

DeRozan ended Monday's 112-103 loss to the Kings with 21 points (7-17 FG, 7-7 FT), seven rebounds and six assists over 40 minutes.

DeRozan's stat line was solid enough, but Monday's loss marked his lowest scoring total since an 18-point effort against the Heat in late February. Domantas Sabonis and Trey Lyles are make things difficult for mid-range slashers like DeRozan, who rely on finding openings just outside the paint.

DeRozan totaled 25 points (9-26 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 7-7 FT), four rebounds, six assists and one steal in 40 minutes during Saturday's 101-91 win over the Cavaliers.

Although DeRozan wasn't very efficient from the floor, he scored 17 of his 25 points in the first half, helping the Bulls take a lead they never relinquished. Combined with Nikola Vucevic's excellent totals, DeRozan was able to get it done without Zach LaVine's (knee) services.

DeRozan posted 36 points (12-25 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 12-13 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and two steals across 41 minutes during Wednesday's 114-108 victory over the Pistons.

Coming off five consecutive losses, DeRozan helped will the Bulls to their first victory since Feb. 24, playing 40-plus minutes for the seventh time this season. Wednesday's performance marks the third time since play resumed after the All-Star break where DeRozan has surpassed 30 points, and he doesn't appear to be slowing down any time soon. The star forward is averaging a career-high 28.0 points per game this season and will look to keep things rolling Saturday against Cleveland.

DeRozan notched 23 points (6-17 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 11-12 FT), 11 rebounds and eight assists in 39 minutes during Monday's 121-106 loss to Philadelphia.

DeRozan racked up eight assist for the second time in his last three games, continuing to verify the evolution of his game -- as even when cold from the field the veteran is now contributing in more ways than ever. However, he has been slowed down lately. DeRozan continues to be a high-volume scorer, but he's been held to under 40.0 percent shooting in three of his last five contests. DeRozan will look to bounce back with a victory Wednesday against Detroit.

DeRozan scored 22 points (10-20 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding eight assists, seven rebounds and two steals in 39 minutes during Thursday's 130-124 loss to the Hawks.

He tied Zach LaVine for the team lead in scoring, but DeRozan fouled out inside the final minute of the fourth quarter and didn't get a chance to try and help the Bulls pull out a win. After averaging 34.2 points, 6.2 boards, 5.2 assists and 1.3 steals a game in February, DeRozan doesn't appear to be slowing down much in March.

DeRozan posted 18 points (7-16 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals in 34 minutes during Monday's 112-99 loss to Miami.

DeRozan scored 30 or more points in 10 games in a row, but that streak came to an end Monday with a below-average effort -- according to his recent standards. The former Spurs and Raptors wing was one of the most dominant scorers in the league over the month of February, though, averaging 34.2 points per game while shooting 55.3 percent from the field in that span.

DeRozan produced 31 points (10-29 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 9-10 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals across 42 minutes before getting ejected from Saturday's 116-110 loss to the Grizzlies.

DeRozan surpassed the 30-point mark for the 10th game in a row and continues to make history in his first season with the franchise. The former Raptors and Spurs forward has been nothing but outstanding in that 10-game stretch and there's an argument to say he's been the league's best scorer during this month. Through 12 appearances in February, DeRozan is averaging 35.5 points per game while shooting 55.9 percent from the field and 43.5 percent from deep.

DeRozan finished Thursday's 112-108 win over Atlanta with 37 points (15-21 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-7 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal over 37 minutes.

DeRozan continues to rewrite history, making it eight straight contests scoring 35 points while shooting over 50 percent from the field. The star forward has simply been unstoppable of late, with his best offensive scoring night of the month occurring on Feb. 6 against the 76ers (41 points).

DeRozan chipped in 38 points (16-27 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds, six assists and one steal in 41 minutes during Wednesday's win over Sacramento.

DeRozan has been on a historic run lately with this marking his seventh consecutive game scoring 35-plus points. The 32-year-old is now averaging 38.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.6 assists over that seven-game span. DeRozan will look to continue this momentum into All-Star Weekend where he has been named as a starter on Team Lebron.

DeRozan accumulated 40 points (16-24 FG, 8-8 FT), three rebounds and seven assists over 35 minutes during Monday's 120-109 victory over the Spurs.

Facing his former team, DeRozan exploded for his third 40-point performance of the season. The All-Star forward also dished out a team-high seven assists as he led the Bulls to their fourth straight win. DeRozan has scored at least 35 points in six straight games, joining Michael Jordan as the only players in Bulls history to accomplish that feat.

DeRozan scored 38 points (12-24 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 14-16 FT) while adding six rebounds, five assists and a steal in 40 minutes during Saturday's 106-101 win over the Thunder.

Chicago was down by 14 at one point in the second quarter, but DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic (31 points, 15 boards) took control in the second half. DeRozan has scored at least 30 points in a career-high six straight games, averaging 37.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.0 steals over that blistering stretch.

DeRozan notched 35 points (14-22 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-7 FT), six rebounds, six assists and one steal over 38 minutes during Friday's 134-122 win over the Timberwolves.

DeRozan continues to show why he was chosen as an All-Star and continues to deliver impressive numbers in what has been one of his best seasons. His scoring numbers have been elite of late, as the veteran has scored 30-plus points in five straight contests and has delivered at least 25 points in nine of his last 10 appearances.

DeRozan ended Wednesday's 121-109 victory over the Hornets with 36 points (13-19 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 7-10 FT), five rebounds and four assists in 38 minutes. He also had five turnovers.

DeRozan has now scored at least 28 points in 11 of his last 12 games. At a crossroad of totals versus efficiency, DeRozan is statistically having the best season of his career. DeRozan is averaging 27.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 5.1 assists per night.

DeRzoan finished with 38 points (16-27 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-8 FT), five rebounds, four assists and two steals in 36 minutes Monday in the Bulls' 127-124 loss to the Suns.

The All-Star forward followed up his season-high 45-point performance Sunday against the 76ers with another huge scoring haul for the second half of the back-to-back set, but DeRozan's efforts weren't enough for the Bulls to topple the NBA's top team. After a stretch of unusually poor performances at the free-throw line over the first three weeks of January, DeRozan seems to have righted the ship. Over his last 10 games, DeRozan is converting at a 90.3 percent clip on 9.3 trips to the line per contest.

DeRozan had 45 points (18-30 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 9-11 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 41 minutes during Sunday's 119-108 loss to the 76ers.

DeRozan's season-high 45 points weren't enough, as Philadelphia's offense -- led by Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris -- was too potent for Chicago to slow down. With Zach LaVine (back) sidelined, the veteran All-Star has finished with at least 30 points, seven assists, five rebounds and one steal in back-to-back games. He's expected to continue to carry the Bulls as they deal with a plethora of injuries to rotational players, including the lengthy absences of Lonzo Ball (knee), Alex Caruso (wrist) and Patrick Williams (wrist).

DeRozan recorded 29 points (12-20 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals in 37 minutes during Tuesday's 126-115 win over the Magic.

DeRozan recorded a second straight double-double -- this time with points and rebounds rather than points and assists. He's been great all season, but this recent stretch has been excellent. He's reached at least 23 points in each of his past nine appearances.

DeRozan finished Wednesday's 111-105 win over Toronto with 29 points (11-19 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds and seven assists over 37 minutes.

DeRozan had himself another productive outing Wednesday, scoring at least 20 points for the sixth consecutive game. After an embarrassing loss to the Magic, the Bulls have now put together two wins, getting them back on track as they push for a high playoff seed. DeRozan is putting together arguably the best individual season of his career and managers simply have to be thrilled with his output thus far.

DeRozan will be rested for Monday's game against the Thunder, Jamal Collier of ESPN reports.

DeRozan has been the workhorse, of late, amid a number of key injuries for the Bulls, so coach Billy Donovan will give him the night off as Chicago plays its third game in four nights. The Bulls will get much-needed reinforcements in the form of Javonte Green and Zach LaVine, while Nikola Vucevic (knee) is considered a game-time call. Expect DeRozan to return for Wednesday's home matchup against Toronto -- the second of four Week 15 games for Chicago.

With Chicago reeling from numerous absences, DeRozan carried the load in the loss. What was exemplary about DeRozan's output was his ability to score 41 points without any help from three-point range. This isn't new for DeRozan, however. He's scored 30 or more points four times this season without any help from beyond the arc.

DeRozan racked up 30 points (14-24 FG, 2-5 FT), two rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and one steal in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 117-104 victory over the Cavaliers.

DeRozan is carrying a bigger load on offense with Zach LaVine and Lonzo Ball out due to knee injuries, but the veteran has stepped it up when his team has needed him the most. The former Raptors and Spurs star is averaging 22.5 points, 5.7 assists and 4.9 rebounds per game across 10 games in January.

DeRozan closed Saturday's 114-112 loss to Boston with 23 points (7-20 FG, 9-9 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists and one block across 37 minutes.

DeRozan was unusually quiet during the losses against both the Nets and Warriors, but he bounced back admirably in this one and ended just two boards and three dimes away from a triple-double. The veteran forward has been Chicago's main scoring threat alongside Zach LaVine (knee), and with the latter sidelined for an uncertain amount of time, DeRozan should experience an uptick in his numbers over the next few games.

DeRozan finished second on Chicago in scoring in the loss, but he tallied less than 20 points for just the second time in his past 17 games. The veteran didn't produce much in the way of peripheral stats, either, so this was one of his least impressive efforts during an overall standout campaign. DeRozan has inserted himself into the MVP discussion with per-game averages of 26.0 points, 5.2 boards and 4.7 assists for a Bulls team that remains atop the Eastern Conference standings.

DeRozan notched 20 points (8-13 FG, 4-5 FT), 12 rebounds and seven assists across 27 minutes during Tuesday's 133-87 victory over the Pistons.

DeRozan ended just three dimes away from posting what would've been his first triple-double of the year, though stuffing the stat sheet hasn't been his main trait in 2021-22. One of the most talented scorers in the league, DeRozan has now scored 20 or more points in all but one of his last 16 contests. He's averaging 26.6 points while shooting 50.8 percent from the field and 40.9 percent from deep in that span.

DeRozan contributed 20 points (9-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, eight assists and one block over 33 minutes during Sunday's 113-99 loss to Dallas.

DeRozan co-led the Bulls offensively with Zach LaVine, but this wasn't a fine performance from the veteran forward. He has now gone three straight games without draining a three-pointer, but all signs point to this game being an outlier and not the norm going forward. After all, the former Spurs and Raptors star has scored 20 or more points in all but one of his games since the beginning of December.

DeRozan scored 28 points for the second game in a row and ended just one board away from delivering what would've been his second double-double of the week. While DeRozan has shown the ability to contribute in multiple categories at the same time, most of his upside is tied to his scoring ability and on that note, the veteran forward has now scored at least 20 points in 12 games in a row. He's averaging 28.4 points while shooting 51.6 percent from the field in that span.

DeRozan totaled 28 points (8-24 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 11-12 FT), six assists, three rebounds and three steals in 35 minutes during Friday's 108-106 win over the Pacers.

DeRozan led the Bulls in scoring during Friday's matchup and drilled a three-pointer at the buzzer to propel Chicago to the win. He's scored at least 20 points in each of his six appearances since returning from a three-game absence and has recorded at least six assists in five of those six contests.

DeRozan contributed 20 points (8-18 FG, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, eight assists and one block across 36 minutes during Wednesday's victory over the Hawks.

DeRozan was once again one of the Bulls' scoring leaders as he hit the 20-point mark for the 10th consecutive game. With point guard Lonzo Ball in protocols, the 32-year-old has also been able to be more of a playmaker as he racked up eight assists Wednesday which is his second-best of the season, only behind Monday's 10-assist performance. DeRozan's offensive consistency has been stellar and is showing no signs of slowing down.

DeRozan totaled 35 points (14-20 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 5-8 FT), five rebounds and 10 assists over 38 minutes during Monday's 130-118 win over the Hawks.

DeRozan supplied an elite game, connecting on 70 percent of his shots while dishing out a season-high 10 assists. Through six games in December, Derozan is averaging 31.0 points and 4.2 assists. For the season he is slashing a robust 50.5/34.6/88.8 across 28 starts.

DeRozan and the Bulls will not play the Raptors on Wednesday after the game was postponed, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Both teams are dealing with many COVID-related absences. The Raptors have been hit especially hard lately, as they currently have eight players in the league's health and safety protocols. The postponement means the Bulls, who last played Monday against Houston, will be off for five consecutive days leading to Sunday's contest against the Pacers. By that point, Chicago could get several key pieces, including Zach LaVine and Ayo Dosunmu, back from COVID-19 protocols.

DeRozan came up in the clutch when the Bulls needed him the most, as he scored 19 points in the final quarter and four in the final minute alone to lift Chicago to a tight victory. This was DeRozan's first game since he landed in the league's health and safety protocols, and he should remain the team's main scoring threat now that he is healthy -- especially since Zach LaVine (COVID-19) has yet to return to practice.

With co-star Zach LaVine still in the protocols, DeRozan took on a massive 41.3 usage rate and was able to match his season high in scoring thanks to some efficient, high-volume shooting from the free-throw line. LaVine is expected to remain out through Christmas, so DeRozan should enjoy at least two more games of elevated usage during Chicago's upcoming three-game week.

Another game, another night where DeRozan stands out among his teammates as a massive scoring threat. He's now scored exactly 28 points in two straight games, but at this point, seeing him reach the 25-point mark shouldn't be news as he's done that in 13 of his 22 appearances thus far. He's averaging 25.9 points per game and that means this season is likely to end up as the second-best of his career from a points-per-game perspective.

DeRozan was the only Chicago starter that reached the 20-point mark in this one, and he has accomplished that feat in seven of his last nine contests. While he and Zach LaVine have been trading the role of being the Bulls' main scoring threat on different stretches this season, his status as one of Chicago's biggest offensive forces is not under threat by any means. The former Spurs and Raptors wing is averaging 26.7 points while shooting 49.8 percent from the field across 15 games this month.

DeRozan contributed 18 points (8-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and two assists across 27 minutes during Monday's 109-77 loss to Indiana.

DeRozan didn't have his best night, and in fact, this game could easily be qualified as an "off game" based on what he's done this year, but he still found a way to end up as Chicago's leading scorer. The veteran had scored at least 20 points in five straight games before Monday, and he will try to bounce back Wednesday on the road against the Rockets.

DeRozan was easily the Bulls' best player again, continuing what has been a simply outstanding start to the season. The veteran is playing the best basketball of his career, something most fantasy managers did not see coming. While he is a proven commodity when it comes to fantasy production, this should be viewed as a sell-high moment, although, given the value he is currently returning, perhaps riding this out is the preferred option.

DeRozan is one of the two unquestioned scoring leaders for the Bulls -- the other being Zach LaVine -- and has put up at least 25 points in three of his last four appearances. His shooting was a bit off in this contest, but all signs point toward this being nothing more than a night off for the veteran. DeRozan is averaging 26.6 points per game while shooting 48.8 percent from the field this season.

DeRozan has contributed a generous 26.6 points, 5.3 boards and 4.2 dimes through 15 games this season.

The veteran continued his incredible start to his 13th NBA campaign, finishing with his highest point total of the season while missing only eight of his 23 field-goal attempts. DeRozan hasn't scored fewer than 17 points in any game this season and ranks third in the NBA with 26.9 points per contest. His contributions are a major reason for the Bulls' strong 10-4 record on the campaign.

DeRozan led all scorers in Sunday's victory, continuing what has been an incredible start to his Bulls career. With Nikola Vucevic (COVID-19) sidelined, the Bulls are going to need everyone to take on more responsibility on the offensive end, and based on what we have seen thus far, DeRozan is the man for the job.

DeRozan was productive and efficient en route to a convincing win over Kevin Durant and the Nets. The backcourt mates will have an exploitable matchup against Dallas come Wednesday. Both teams' offenses rank among the top five in the league for pace.

DeRozan ended his streak of games with at least 30 points at three, but at the same time, he's now put up at least 20 points in eight straight contests. The veteran forward is enjoying a blistering start to the season and is averaging 26.8 points per game while shooting 50.3 percent from the field and a career-high 42.1 percent from deep.

DeRozan has now scored 37 points in back-to-back games and has surpassed the 30-point plateau in three contests in a row. This sizzling scoring run has allowed the veteran to become Chicago's main scoring threat in the early weeks of the campaign, as his 27.0 points per game currently pace the franchise. He has also scored at least 20 points in seven games in a row.

DeRozan was coming off two poor performances in which he scored a combined 19 points, but he bounced back admirably here. He's not the elite scoring threat he once was, but he's offering a more balanced output and is averaging a career-high 6.6 assists per game, so he's providing value in other areas aside from his scoring.

DeRozan totaled five points (2-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt), a rebound and an assist across 25 minutes in Saturday's 129-112 loss to the Grizzlies.

Perhaps it was the effect of the back-to-back game, but DeRozan was a non-factor in Saturday's loss. It was DeRozan's worst scoring performance of the year as he seemed stymied by the Grizzlies' defense. Since DeRozan is a very point-dependent fantasy option, he will sometimes see games like this when he's unable to find a basket.

DeRozan notched 30 points (11-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-7 FT), a rebound and 10 assists across 36 minutes in Friday's win over the Nuggets.

DeRozan evidenced the ultimate display of efficiency Friday, as he only missed three shots from the field while ending as the team's highest scorer and passer. The veteran has scored 20 or more points in three of his last four games, but his biggest area of improvement this season lies in the playmaking department -- he has dished out seven or more assists in 10 games already. DeRozan is averaging 7.0 assists per game this season, a figure that would easily represent a career-high mark for him.

DeRozan posted 21 points (7-8 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds and seven assists across 34 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Celtics.

DeRozan was almost perfect from the field in this one, missing just one shot and one free-throw attempt throughout the entire contest en route to a team-high 21 points. He also came through in the clutch, scoring four of the Spurs' final nine points during the final minute of the contest. DeRozan has scored 20 or more points in four of his last six appearances, and he continues to be one of the Spurs' go-to players on offense even if he's prone to have a few bad nights here and there.

DeRozan and the Spurs will not play Monday against the Pelicans after the game was postponed, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

It's unclear which team triggered the postponement, but -- for now at least -- the Spurs will be off until Wednesday's home matchup against the Celtics.

The short-handed Rockets once again put up a fight, but DeRozan made sure the Spurs wouldn't drop two straight games to their James Harden-less opponents. DeRozan has had an up and down start to the season scoring-wise, but he's still on pace for his eighth straight campaign with better than 20 points a game. He's also averaging a career-high 6.7 assists through 11 games, and his 5.7 boards per game isn't too far off his personal best either.

DeRozan (personal) will be available for Thursday's game against the Rockets, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

After missing the past two games due to personal reasons, DeRozan will be back Thursday. He's having another excellent season, averaging 21.2 points on 14.8 shots, 7.0 assists (1.3 turnovers), 5.6 rebounds and 1.6 combined steals-plus-blocks.

DeRozan (personal) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Rockets, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports.

DeRozan has missed the past two games due to personal reasons, but he could return Thursday. If he remains sidelined, Trey Lyles, Keldon Johnson and Lonnie Walker could continue seeing more time.

DeRozan has seen his shot total, shooting percentage and points scored increase in each of the last three games. For the season, DeRozan has put up at least 19 points in all but two games. He will look for a repeat performance Sunday when the Spurs take on the Timberwolves in the second of a back-to-back.

A recurring theme for DeRozan right now is his near double-doubles. He has fallen at most two rebounds or assists short four times through the Spurs' first eight games. It appears DeRozan could be more of an all-around option this year, giving him greater value than in previous seasons when he was a pure scorer.

DeRozan was one of six Spurs that scored in double digits in this game, and he ended just two assists shy of what would've been his first double-double of the campaign -- that was also the case in the season opener. DeRozan has surpassed the 25-point mark while dishing out eight or more dimes in each of his first two appearances this season, and he will try to extend that run of sizzling production Sunday at New Orleans.

DeRozan scored 28 points (7-14 FG, 0-0 3Pt, 14-15 FT) and added nine rebounds, nine assists, one steal and one block in 35 minutes of Wednesday's 113-107 win over the Heat.

DeRozan was hot in every way in this one and led the Spurs in scoring, rebounds and assists on the evening, although Dejounte Murray tied him in the latter category. The Grizzlies attempted to stop the 31-year-old with fouls, but he missed just one of his 15 tries from the free-throw line. He'll look to keep rolling Saturday at home against Toronto.

DeRozan will exercise his player option for the 2020-21 season, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

While DeRozan would have had some suitors on the open market, he'll instead delay his free agency by one year and take the $27.7 million owed to him in the final season of his contract. The four-time-All-Star averaged 22.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game last season, and he could find himself on the trade market if the Spurs opt to take a more youth-oriented approach.

DeRozan put the Spurs on his back down the stretch, almost leading the team to an unexpected victory. He has looked fantastic thus far and seems to be relishing the pace at which the team is playing. With LaMarcus Aldridge (shoulder) on the sidelines, DeRozan has assumed the leadership role, and based on what we are seeing from him, he should be a second-round asset moving forward.

DeRozan had 14 points (5-10 FG, 4-6 FT) and seven assists in Sunday's win over Memphis.

The Spurs didn't need a big scoring day from DeRozan to move to 2-0 in seeding play, but the former All-Star led the team with seven dimes, while also adding four rebounds, a steal and a block in 34 minutes.

DeRozan scored a team-high 27 points (10-13 FG, 7-9 FT) while adding 10 assists and five rebounds in 38 minutes during Friday's 129-120 win over the Kings.

The veteran wing took control of the game down the stretch on a night when neither defense seemed capable of putting up much of a fight. If the Spurs are going to make a late charge for the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference, it will be DeRozan who leads it.

DeRozan turned in 17 points (8-13 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one block in 26 minutes during Tuesday's 118-111 scrimmage win over the Pacers.

DeRozan can likely be expected to carry a sizable load offensively once the official games begin, as LaMarcus Aldridge (shoulder) has been ruled out for the rest of the season. With that being said, coach Gregg Popovich has stated that the team will primarily focus on development. As such, DeRozan may be most reliable for the first few games given that his minutes could eventually be reduced considerably if the team falls too far out of the playoff race.

The veteran started on the wing and saw 20 minutes of action, but he wasn't overly aggressive in a game that the Spurs kept close throughout the first half. DeRozan also added four rebounds and two steals, though he did commit three turnovers.

DeRozan chipped in with 13 points (5-12 FG, 3-4 FT), 12 assists, five rebounds and two steals in 35 minutes during Tuesday's 119-109 win over the Mavericks.

DeRozan has cracked the 20-point mark just thrice in his last nine games and he's shooting just 47.5 percent from the field during that stretch, which is a downgrade compared to what he's done most of the season. However, he's making strides as a playmaking threat and is averaging 7.8 assists per game during that nine-game span, while registering nine or more dimes five times in that period.

DeRozan compiled 25 points (7-19 FG, 11-12 FT), eight boards, four assists and two steals across 42 minutes Sunday in the Spurs' 132-129 overtime loss to the Cavaliers.

DeRozan made up for his poor shooting from the field by getting the job done at the free-throw line, raising his season-long rate to 84.4 percent after the 11-for-12 showing. The swingman remains allergic to the three-point line -- he's only attempted one shot from downtown over his last 15 games -- but his ability to get to the line and convert at a high rate along with his exceptional 52.8 field-goal percentage have him on track to finish with a new career high in true shooting percentage. His 59.8 TS% is more than four percentage points higher than his mark from any other season.

DeRozan provided 12 points (5-11 FG, 2-3 FT), 10 assists, five rebounds and one steal in 36 minutes during Tuesday's 104-103 win over the Hornets.

DeRozan posted his fifth double-double through 58 appearances this season, this after recording his career best (12 across 77 games) in that category in 2018-19. While his second year with the Spurs hasn't been as good in that department, DeRozan is still having a splendid season, as he's sporting a career-high field-goal percentage while continuing to produce well-rounded counting stats.

DeRozan had 27 points (9-15 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 9-9 FT), nine assists, eight rebounds and one steal over 34 minutes in Wednesday's 109-103 loss to the Mavericks.

DeRozan has had decreased production over the past three games that may have been attributed slightly to his back injury, but he returned to form as he nearly picked up a triple-double Wednesday. After converting on just 41.4 percent of his field goal attempts over the previous two games, DeRozan made 60 percent of his shots from the field against the Mavericks.

DeRozan notched 11 points (4-12 FG, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and three assists in 23 minutes during Sunday's 131-103 loss at Oklahoma City.

One of DeRozan's biggest improvements this season has been his shooting percentages since he's shooting a career-best 53.0 percent from the field, but those numbers have decreased of late -- he's only making 41.8 percent of his field-goal attempts during his last four contests. It's worth noting, however, that he's been dealing with a back injury of late and that could be the cause of his poor shooting figures this month.

DeRozan (back) put up 18 points (8-17 FG, 2-2 FT), seven assists, five rebounds and one block across 36 minutes Friday in the Spurs' 113-104 win over the Jazz.

DeRozan missed the Spurs' last two games of the first half with back spasms, but the All-Star break provided him with enough time to move past the injury. The fact that DeRozan handled a full minutes load and delivered useful numbers across the board in his first game back should provide sufficient reason for fantasy managers to activate him.

As expected, DeRozan will miss a second straight game while dealing with back spasms. With nine days off starting Wednesday because of the All-Star break, the veteran forward will presumably be ready to go when the Spurs take on the Jazz to begin the second half of the regular season Feb. 21.

Consider DeRozan questionable -- at best -- for Tuesday's game at this juncture, with Lonnie Walker likely on tap for another start in the event the veteran sits.

DeRozan has made double-digit field goals in five straight contests and is going through an excellent run of form, averaging 30.4 points while shooting 55.6 percent from the field during that stretch. That impressive degree of efficiency should boost DeRozan's upside -- which was already high due to his scoring ability -- since he is shooting a career-high 53.7 percent from the field in 2019-20.

DeRozan scored 24 points (10-15 FG, 4-5 FT), six assists, two rebounds and two steals in 33 minutes during Saturday's 114-90 win over the Hornets.

Another game, another outing where DeRozan continues to show his improved accuracy is no fluke. The star shooting guard is making 56.8 percent of his field goals during his last six outings and aside from averaging 27.0 points per game during that span, he is also chipping in with 6.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists per night. His ability to contribute in several areas of the game with a high degree of efficiency has transformed him into one of the top shooting guards in the league for fantasy purposes over the last few weeks.

DeRozan exploded for 38 points (11-19 FG, 16-19 FT), five rebounds and five assists in 37 minutes during Wednesday's 127-120 win over the Jazz.

DeRozan has always been an elite scorer, but he seems to be taking things to a whole level during January -- he has scored at least 30 points in three of his last four games and is averaging 26.9 points per game during the current month. He has also contributed steadily in rebounds and assists of late, averaging 6.6 boards and 5.7 dimes per game during that stretch.

DeRozan scored 36 points (11-21 FG, 14-17 FT), 10 rebounds and three assists in 36 minutes during Monday's 110-109 defeat at Chicago.

DeRozan accounted for over one third of his points from the charity stripe and continues to look extremely sharp from the field, as he is shooting well over 50 percent from the field for the first time in his career. DeRozan also posted his first double-double since Dec. 23 as well, and he should remain one of San Antonio's main scoring threats moving forward since he has scored 20 or more points in three of his last four starts.

After converting at a remarkable 62.3 percent clip from the field over his prior 14 contests, DeRozan finally saw his efficiency drop off. Fortunately for his fantasy managers, DeRozan cushioned the dropoff in his shooting accuracy with another well-rounded stat line. He's now recorded no fewer than five rebounds, four assists or one steal in seven straight games.

Assuming the Spurs prioritize a playoff push and don't break up the team heading into the trade deadline, DeRozan seems set up to have a superb second half of the season.

He is shooting a career-best 54.1 percent from the field this season, including a stellar 62.0 percent mark during his last five games -- a span where he is also averaging 29.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game. The former Raptors star might not be able to sustain this kind of efficiency during the entire season, but there's no question he has been San Antonio's biggest scoring threat of late.

DeRozan scored 30 points (12-14 FG, 6-7 FT) while adding seven assists, five rebounds and two steals in 35 minutes during Wednesday's 106-100 loss to the Heat.

The veteran wing was nearly perfect from the field, but he got little help -- Patty Mills was the only other Spur to score more than a dozen points in Miami. DeRozan has dropped at least 25 points in seven straight games and 20 or more in 12 straight, averaging a dazzling 27.3 points, 5.7 assists, 4.9 boards and 1.2 steals over that stretch.

The Spurs caught the Celtics napping, with DeRozan leading his club to a 22-3 lead to begin the game, and Boston was never able to recover. The veteran wing is locked in right now, scoring at least 20 points in nine straight games while averaging 26.1 points, 5.3 assists, 4.1 boards and 1.0 steals over that stretch.
