Powell has played for Dallas for the last nine years after being traded from Boston in his rookie year. The 31-year-old big man started in 64 of his 72 appearances in 2022-23 and averaged 6.7 points and 4.1 rebounds in 19.2 minutes.

Powell produced 14 points (7-7 FG), five rebounds, two assists and one steal across 20 minutes during Friday's 117-109 loss to the Hornets.

Powell has scored in double digits in three of his last five games, but he was particularly efficient in this one after not missing a single shot from the field. Even though that won't be an everyday situation, it's worth noting that Powell has been very efficient from the field. He's shooting an elite -- and probably unsustainable -- 76 percent from the floor across 11 March contests while averaging 4.5 field goal attempts per contest.

Powell finished Wednesday's 137-128 overtime win over the Spurs with a season-high 22 points (8-8 FG, 6-7 FT) to go with eight rebounds and two assists in 29 minutes.

While Powell made good for anyone with the foresight to stream him or deploy him in DFS, it's difficult to envision him replicating the offensive production anytime soon. Not only was nearly perfect from both the field and the free-throw line, but Powell benefited from a matchup with one of the NBA's worst teams as well as an uptick in usage, with his 18.2 percent rate on the night handily outpacing his season-long rate (12 percent). The absences of all of Kyrie Irving (foot), Luka Doncic (thigh) and Tim Hardaway (calf) left Dallas with few reliable scoring options, and though all three could remain out for Friday's game against the Lakers, Powell is still likely to find himself behind all of Christian Wood, Josh Green, Reggie Bullock and Jaden Hardy in the offensive hierarchy.

Powell recorded two points (1-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), five rebounds and three assists over 17 minutes during Monday's 104-88 loss to the Grizzlies.

Powell continues to start for the Mavericks, although his output says otherwise. Despite starting every game over the past two months, Powell is well outside the top 200 in standard formats, highlighting just how little he has been able to impact games, at least from a production perspective. He can be considered in very deep formats but as for standard leagues, you need not bother.

Powell was one of eight Mavericks to score in double figures Thursday, as Dallas dismantled the Spurs en route to a blowout victory. The veteran big man also grabbed a team-high eight boards and recorded at least three steals in a game for the third time this season. Powell hasn't missed a contest since Dec. 19, and during that stretch, he's averaging 7.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.2 steals-plus-blocks in 22.4 minutes across 30 appearances (18 starts).

Powell accumulated eight points (4-4 FG), 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal across 21 minutes during Wednesday's 118-109 loss to the Nuggets.

Powell took only four shots in the contest but made all of them for eight points to go along with a team-high 10 rebounds, three of which came on the offensive end. The big man played just over eight minutes in the third quarter, however, before sitting for all of the fourth as Dallas lost its third straight. It was just his second time this season with 10 or more rebounds in a game and he's now shot 100 percent from the floor in three of his last four.

Powell accumulated 12 points (4-5 FG, 4-5 FT), 16 rebounds, two assists and one block over 28 minutes during Monday's 124-111 victory over the Jazz.

Powell saw some increased opportunity on Monday with Christian Wood only logging 18 minutes in his first game back and Dallas being without Luka Doncic (heel) and Kyrie Irving (trade), and his 16 rebounds accounted for his first double-digit rebounding performance of the season. However, his minutes and opportunities will likely dwindle once Wood gets fully up to speed and the usual starters return to the floor.

Powell closed with 10 points (4-5 FG, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, one block and four steals over 30 minutes during Saturday's 119-113 loss to the Warriors.

Powell's output has dipped this season due to Christian Wood's (thumb), presence, but the every-day starter has seen a bit of a boost during Wood's absence. Over the past eight games, Powell has averaged 9.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 0.8 blocked shots.

Powell ended with 15 points (6-9 FG, 3-6 FT), four rebounds, one assist and three blocks across 36 minutes during Thursday's 99-95 win over Phoenix.

Powell couldn't repeat the season-best outing of 22 points and nine rebounds he delivered against the Wizards on Tuesday, but he was efficient from the field and delivered on both ends of the court. He's started in 10 of Dallas' last 11 games and is averaging 8.5 points with 4.4 rebounds per game in that span.

Powell finished Tuesday's 127-126 loss to the Wizards with 22 points (8-12 FG, 6-7 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 34 minutes.

Powell came out of nowhere to record easily his best performance of the season Tuesday. Basically, everything was a season-high here, indicating that managers should show caution when analyzing this effort. He is locked in as the starter and so should continue to play meaningful minutes. With that said, his production up until Tuesday was mediocre, at best, meaning he is certainly not someone to prioritize.

Powell closed Sunday's 112-98 loss to the Clippers with nine points (4-4 FG, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and two assists over 21 minutes.

Powell continues to start for the Mavericks, although even without Christian Wood (thumb), he has been unable to make any fantasy noise. There is very little excitement when it comes to Powell's fantasy game, often providing much better real life value. Barring a miracle, there is no reason for managers in standard leagues to pay him any attention.

Powell is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Trail Blazers.

Powell will get the nod over Christian Wood, who will miss Saturday's game due to a sprained right ankle. Powell is averaging 5.5 points and 3.3 rebounds across 17.5 minutes per game in 26 starts this season.

Whether he is starting or coming off the bench, Powell's real-life value far outweighs his fantasy value. Even managers in deeper formats would be better off streaming his spot, as opposed to holding on and waiting for him to blow up.

Powell is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Pelicans.

Powell returns to the starting lineup after a four-game stretch as a bench alternative. The big man has started 23 times in the current campaign and is averaging 5.7 points with 3.2 rebounds across 17.7 minutes per tilt.

Powell put together one of his best performances of the season, shooting a perfect 8-of-8 from the floor. While he had been starting prior to Thursday, a shift to the bench apparently reinvigorated the veteran center. Despite this effort, it is unlikely Powell can replicate this moving forward. He is barely a top-270 player on the season, making him a deeper league consideration, at best.

Barring a huge shift, he can be left on waivers in all but the deepest of formats.

Most of the fanfare went to Jalen Brunson and Maxi Kleber in the victory while Powell posted one of his worst stat lines of the season, netting only one rebound in 16 minutes. By staying largely out of Rudy Gobert's way, the Mavericks may have found the ideal method to beat the Jazz, but the scheme will wreak havoc on Powell's output moving forward.

Powell produced 18 points (7-7 FG, 4-6 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one block in 28 minutes during Friday's 128-78 win over the Trail Blazers.

Powell was perfect from the field for a second consecutive game and scored at least 18 points for the sixth time this season. Since the beginning of March (20 games), Powell has averaged 12.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 25.9 minutes per game.

Powell closed Wednesday's 131-113 victory over the Pistons with nine points (3-3 FG, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, one block and one steal over 30 minutes.

Powell popped for a big double-double Sunday with Maxi Kleber (ankle) out, but posted a much more modest line Wednesday despite Kleber being inactive again. Although underwhelming, it's on brand for Powell, as he's collected just two double-doubles all season. Powell will be 31 years old come the 2022-2023 season.

Powell has definitely seen an uptick in minutes and production recently as he tries to pick up the slack amid Kristaps Porzingis; departure. Although double-digit rebound totals have been elusive, he's delivered double-digit scoring totals in seven of his past 10 games.

Powell accumulated 15 points (5-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 22 minutes during Wednesday's 120-112 win over the Cavaliers.

Powell's 15 points were the most he has totaled since recording 22 points against Minnesota on March 21. His solid offensive outing also marked a fifth time scoring in double figures since registering just two points March 19 against the Hornets. Powell is averaging 13.5 points and 6.3 rebounds during that span.

Powell ended with 22 points (8-8 FG, 6-7 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals in 27 minutes before fouling out of Monday's 110-108 victory over the Timberwolves.

Powell was the surprise leading scorer for Dallas thanks to a perfect 8-for-8 effort from the field and solid 6-for-7 mark from the charity stripe. The veteran has had only four performances of 20-plus points during the campaign, though three of those have come over the past 30 days. Powell has started 61 games for the Mavericks this season, but his inconsistent numbers make him a risky proposition in fantasy.

Powell ended with 14 points (6-9 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and two assists across 32 minutes during Friday's 111-101 loss to the 76ers.

Powell hasn't played well since posting a 26-point, 12-rebound double-double against the Rockets on March 11, and in fact, he has yet to reach the 15-point mark in any other of his appearances this month. The big man holds a secondary role on offense for the Mavericks, and he's averaging just 12.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per contest across nine games in March.

Powell ended with 26 points (9-11 FG, 8-9 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and two blocks over 32 minutes during Friday's 113-100 win over the Rockets.

Powell delivered his best game of the season Friday, as his 26-point output was a season-best mark and his 12 boards tied his best mark of the current campaign as well. The big man has settled into the starting lineup since late January and has emerged as a reliable presence down low at both ends of the court for Dallas. He's averaging 10.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 0.6 blocks per game over that 17-game span.

Powell had 13 points (5-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-5 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal over 33 minutes during Thursday's 122-113 victory over the Warriors.

Powell logged over 30 minutes for the first time in nearly a month, as typically the big man operates in a highly efficient but low usage role. With Maxi Kleber (ankle) out, Powell harnessed the bump in minutes and logged a plus-11 -- marking the best plus-minus among Dallas starters. Powell is a high-floor contributor regardless of Kleber's status moving forward.

Powell finished Friday's 114-109 loss to Utah with 22 points (9-12 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds and one steal across 26 minutes.

Powell went off for 22 points Friday, matching his season-high total. This was obviously a really solid performance but it should be viewed as an outlier, especially given he has only scored more than 15 points one other time this season. At best, Powell should be viewed as a backed streaming option for anyone in need of an efficient, yet low-volume scorer who can chip in a few rebounds on most nights.

Powell contributed eight points (3-4 FG, 2-3 FT), five rebounds and one block over 24 minutes during Thursday's 125-118 victory over the Pelicans.

Powell remained in the starting lineup Thursday but struggled to have a tangible impact on the scoresheet. With Kristaps Porzingis now residing in Washington, both Powell and Maxi Kleber are going to see some additional run on most nights. Thus far, Kleber has been the preferred option when it comes to fantasy value, something that seems likely to stick. At best, Powell should be viewed as a possible streaming consideration for anyone desperate for boards and FG%.

Powell finished with 12 points (5-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 36 minutes Sunday in the Mavericks' 103-94 win over the Hawks.

Powell has started the past four games in place of Kristaps Porzingis (knee), but it's the absence of Maxi Kleber (knee) for the past two contests that has allowed Powell to clear the 30-minute mark on both occasions. Between those two contests, Powell has averaged 13.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks while shooting 78.6 percent from the floor, but once one of Porzingis or Kleber returns, most of Powell's fantasy utility will disappear.

This was only the second time in his past seven games that Powell has scored 10 or more points, so he isn't on the fantasy radar for the time being.

Powell continues to garner a small role off the bench now that Maxi Kleber is operating as the starting center. Over his last five games, Powell has averaged 6.0 points and 3.8 rebounds in 17.0 minutes per game. The Stanford product is a reliable piece for the Mavericks off the bench, but he hasn't generated enough production to be fantasy relevant in his current reserve role.

Powell will come off the bench for Saturday's matchup with the Magic.

Powell tallied a season-high 15 points (4-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT) to go with eight rebounds and two assists Tuesday in the Mavericks' 114-102 win over the Timberwolves.

Powell didn't see a major uptick in playing time while frontcourt mate Maxi Kleber (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) and Kristaps Porzingis (knee) were sidelined along with Willie Cauley-Stein (personal), as head coach Jason Kidd instead broke Marquese Chriss (16 minutes) into the rotation and leaned more heavily on small-ball lineups. The starting center at least benefited from a usage standpoint, but Powell shouldn't be expected to provide this sort of scoring on a regular basis so long as Porzingis' absence isn't long term. Dallas is listing Porzingis as questionable ahead of Thursday's game against the Bucks.

Powell finished Sunday's win over the Kings with 12 points (4-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block.

Powell saw a season-high 33 minutes of action with Kristaps Porzingis (back) out and Maxi Kleber (back) limited to only seven minutes. Typically, Powell isn't an overly reliable fantasy option, but if both Porzinigis and Kleber miss time, he could be worth a look as a lower-end streaming option for Week 3. The Mavs only have three games on the schedule, however, so his upside is rather limited.

Powell is not going to shoot this well on most nights but if you need an efficient big-man who can contribute on both ends of the floor, he is well worth a look.
