The rookie out of Santa Clara has scored in double digits nine of his last games while reaching the 20-point mark six times in that span, and he's averaging 19.0 points with 5.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.5 steals per game in that stretch.

Williams recorded 24 points (9-17 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 123-117 loss to the Lakers.

With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle/abdomen/health and safety protocols) missing his fourth straight contest, Williams again took up the reigns as OKC's centerpiece on offense. He led the team with 24 points and tied for the club high with 17 field-goal attempts while rounding out his line with seven assists, four rebounds and two thefts. In the four games without Alexander, Williams is averaging 22.0 points, 5.8 assists, 4.3 boards, 1.5 three-pointers and 2.0 steals over 31.5 minutes per contest.

Williams supplied 27 points (9-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 8-9 FT), five rebounds, eight assists and two steals across 33 minutes during Tuesday's 123-117 loss to the Kings.

Williams continues to go from strength to strength, turning in another strong two-way performance. While he doesn't receive the fanfare typically associated with a dominant rookie, Williams has been arguably the best of the bunch when it comes to fantasy value this season. He is now inside the top 100 for the season, value that exceeds the top 40 over the past two months. He is locked in as a key piece for the Thunder and should be able to flirt with top 50 value ROS.

Williams produced 15 points (7-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds, four assists and three steals in 31 minutes during Sunday's 124-115 loss to the Kings.

Williams produced fairly well across the board Sunday night. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander sitting out again (ankle/abdomen), the rookie still saw just his usual opportunities but shot over 57 percent for the second straight game. His three steals were a game high, and this marked his eighth straight contest with at least one takeaway. Even when the roster is back at full strength, Williams may have a lower ceiling, but he still gets enough usage and remains a nice asset in most leagues.

Williams finished with 22 points (8-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal across 28 minutes in Friday's 124-115 loss to the Suns.

Williams was held to nine points on 4-for-10 shooting from the field in Thursday's 120-119 loss to the Jazz, but he bounced back with a productive game in the second leg of the back-to-back set. Though the absence of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle) opened up some extra field-goal attempts for Williams, Thursday's outing still looks to be an outlier compared to the rookie's recent production. Over his last six games, Williams is averaging 17.3 points (on 53.3 percent shooting from the field and 94.1 percent shooting from the free-throw line), 5.7 boards, 3.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 1.3 three-pointers in 33.3 minutes.

Williams posted 22 points (9-15 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals in 39 minutes during Monday's 103-100 loss to New Orleans.

Williams has had an up-and-down stretch over the last two weeks. In the last three games of January, he averaged 20 points. Then followed up with 18 total points in the first three games of February. Now Williams has scored at least 13 points in his last three games. The 2022 first-round pick has also been racking up steals with 14 in the last four games. With more consistency in other categories, Williams could become an excellent fantasy asset.

Williams supplied 13 points (4-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, six assists and three steals in 33 minutes during Friday's 138-129 win over the Trail Blazers.

Williams came up clutch in the final two minutes, helping Luguentz Dort come up with a steal and then finishing off a powerful slam on the fast break which sealed the win. He continues to be one of the most impressive rookies in fantasy basketball, putting up top-50 numbers in 9-category leagues over the past two weeks with 12.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.0 three-pointers.

Williams supplied 25 points (10-19 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, one block and six steals across 40 minutes during Tuesday's 133-130 win over the Lakers.

Williams came alive in the second quarter with 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field, adding five boards and three assists. He remained efficient after the break, knocking down four of eight shot attempts to finish second on the team with 25 points in the contest. Williams also impressed on the defensive end, grabbing seven rebounds along with a game and season-high six steals, five of which came in the second half. The rookie forward played a season-high 40 minutes Tuesday and has now broken the 20-point mark five times in his 2022-23 campaign.

Williams finished Monday's 141-114 loss to the Warriors with eight points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-6 FT), five rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals over 25 minutes.

Williams struggled on the offensive end once again Monday, scoring fewer than 10 points for the third straight game. Fortunately, he was able to add four combined steals and blocks, salvaging what was an otherwise disappointing outing. He is outside the top 200 in standard formats over the past week, and given the lack of name value, there is a chance he could pop up on a few waiver wires, especially in highly-competitive leagues. He has top-100 upside moving forward and so if he is dropped in your league, you should strongly consider picking him up.

Williams ended Wednesday's 112-106 loss to the Rockets with eight points (2-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals in 29 minutes.

Williams carried an ankle injury into this one and it may be to blame for the poor shooting. Luckily for the rookie standout, the Thunder are off until Saturday for a rematch against Houston. In his previous three games, Williams averaged 20.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.7 three-pointers.

Williams (ankle) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.

Williams appeared to tweak his left ankle late in Monday's loss to Golden State, but it doesn't appear like the issue will sideline him moving forward. The rookie first-round pick has started 24 straight games and is averaging 13.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.4 steals in 31.5 minutes per game during that stretch.

Williams appeared to tweak his left ankle late in Monday's 128-120 loss to the Warriors, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports. He finished the night with 19 points (8-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.

Williams came through with yet another efficient, well-rounded performance, but it was somewhat marred by the ankle injury, the severity of which remains unknown. After converting on his final shot attempt of the night with 23 seconds remaining to cut the Warriors' lead to five, Williams checked out of the contest after the next dead ball six seconds later and didn't return. The Thunder will return to action Wednesday in Houston, so Williams' fantasy managers will want to check back in on his status for that contest ahead of the 8 p.m. ET tipoff.

Williams registered 24 points (11-16 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and four steals in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 137-132 loss to the Hawks.

Williams surpassed the 20-point mark just for the third time this month, and his 24-point outing will go down as one of his best outings of the campaign, both from a statistical perspective and also from an efficiency point of view. He's started every game for Oklahoma City since Dec. 12 and has been impressive since then, averaging 13.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.5 steals per game in that 22-game stretch.

Williams amassed 22 points (10-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and two steals over 34 minutes during Friday's 124-110 win over the Bulls.

Williams was nearly perfect from the field and only missed two of his 12 shots while also ending just two rebounds away from securing what would've been his first double-double of the season. The rookie out of Santa Clara is on a run of five straight games with 10 or more points, averaging 15.2 points and shooting 58.9 percent from the field in that span.

Williams will in fact start Friday's game against the Bulls.

A previous report indicated Williams was moved to the bench, however, it was meant to instead be Jaylin Williams instead. Williams has scored 10 or more points in five straight contests and should see a full workload Friday.

Williams was arguably the best player on the floor Tuesday, outshining his more fancied opposition. This was another glimpse at what Williams is capable of and why he should be regarded as a viable 12-team asset. Unlike many of his teammates, Williams' role appears secure no matter the opposition. He obviously won't be this good every night but given he has been a top-80 player over the past two weeks, make sure he isn't still floating around on any waiver wires.

Williams closed Saturday's 115-96 loss to Philadelphia with 17 points (6-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals over 28 minutes.

Williams put together another strong performance despite the loss, proving his worth as a viable 12-team asset. He has now scored in double-digits in 10 of his past 11 games, putting up top-45 value over the past week. He remains outside the top 200 for the season but based on what we have seen of late, he probably deserves a roster spot in most leagues.

Williams found success shooting the basketball in this one, and he was just one rebound away from notching his second double-double of the 2022-23 campaign. Tuesday marked his best rebounding game of the season, and he's been more productive in this area of late. Williams has secured seven or more rebounds in three of his last four matchups.

Williams made the most of his eight shot attempts from the field and managed to put up double figures for the sixth time in seven games. The rookie got off to a slow start with four points through 15 first-half minutes, but he looked much stronger in the final two quarters of play by shooting 4-for-6 from the field (11 points) and adding an assist. Williams has started his team's last six matchups and is averaging 12.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists during this span.

Williams posted 13 points (5-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 33 minutes during Monday's 123-121 win over the Trail Blazers.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (back) returned to the Thunder lineup Monday and dropped 35 points, while Williams was among a group of six OKC players who chipped in between 11 and 13 points. The rookie added a team-leading seven rebounds and also contributed as a passer (four assists) and as a defender (one block, one steal). Williams has started five straight games for OKC, with the only real clunker during that span being his one-point, 0-for-8 shooting performance against Memphis on Saturday. He's playing well enough to be rostered in 12-team fantasy leagues, though occasional rookie growing pains are to be expected.

While he is more of a luxury stash, the minutes do afford him a nightly opportunity to put up backend 12-team value.

Williams is averaging 10.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 25.1 minutes through his first 18 contests in the NBA.

Williams is in the starting five for Wednesday's game against the Spurs.

So long as the latter two players are healthy, Williams is unlikely to take on a high-volume role for the Thunder, but his all-around game could still make him a serviceable low-end fantasy asset in category leagues in particular if head coach Mark Daigneault commits to giving the rookie 25-plus minutes per game.

WIlliams will rejoin the starting five Friday against the Grizzlies, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports.

No matter his role, the upside is clear and the Thunder have no reason to hold him back, meaning he should be on a roster in most competitive formats.

As of Thursday, the rookie was without a timetable for a return, so his availability Saturday is surprising, especially since he underwent surgery just over a week ago. He hasn't played since the opener, which is when he suffered the orbital fracture. It remains to be seen what sort of role he'll have in the rotation, as the Thunder have plenty of young guards.

Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault said Thursday that Williams is "progressing and getting closer" but remains without a firm timetable for return, Rylan Stiles of BricktownBuckets.com reports.

Williams underwent surgery last Friday to repair a right orbital fracture, and based on Daigneault's comments, it sounds like he may not return until the first week of November, at the earliest. He may not begin the regular season in the starting lineup, but his strong preseason play has likely earned him plenty of minutes regardless of his role.

Williams ended with 16 points (7-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and three steals in 28 minutes during Tuesday's preseason win over the Pistons.

Williams moved into the starting lineup, ending with a productive line reeking of upside. While his exact role to begin the season remains up in the air, he will almost certainly be given an opportunity to play regular minutes. The uncertainty, while present, should not deter fantasy managers when it comes to considering him with a last-round pick, given the potential.
