Allen will almost certainly be better than this moving forward but could find himself taking a backset to Mobley more often as the season develops.

Allen was unstoppable offensively and also made a huge impact on the game defensively matching his career high in steals. The 23-year-old has always been efficient offensively as he is a 62.3 percent shooter from the field in his career, and it looks like that will keep up this season. His rebounding is usually much more impactful than it was tonight as he averaged 10.0 rebounds last season and he figures to get close to that production again this year.

Allen is a secondary scoring option behind names such as Collin Sexton and Darius Garland, but he is clearly delivering value on both ends of the court and should remain a reliable fantasy asset moving forward due to his steady role as a starter.

Allen continued on his merry way, dominating a vastly undersized Rockets team. In arguably the most feel-good story of the season, Allen has finally been set free and fantasy GMs are certainly reaping the rewards. Since being installed as the full-time starter, Allen is the 11th ranked player in standard formats. Granted, this kind of production is unlikely to stick but nonetheless, there is no reason he can't continue rolling along as a third-round asset.

Allen finished with 13 points (5-11 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 14 boards, four blocks, two assists, and one steal in 34 minutes of a 112-111 win against Atlanta on Tuesday.

Allen recorded his fifth straight double-double in his team's win, while also finishing with the most blocks he's recorded since February 1. The center has continued his strong play since joining the Cavs in the middle of January, including double-digit scoring in eight straight games. He'll face the Rockets on Wednesday.

Allen recorded 26 points (11-11 FG, 4-7 FT), 17 rebounds, three blocks and two assists over 42 minutes in Sunday's 117-101 loss to the Thunder.

Allen was perfect from the field Sunday, and he had one of his best performances of the year in the loss. He put up a season-high 26 points while leading the team with 17 rebounds. He's recorded double-doubles in five of the last six games and has established himself as a key contributor in Cleveland's starting rotation.

Allen scored 20 points (8-9 FG, 4-8 FT) to go along with 10 rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block across 34 minutes in Friday's loss to the Nuggets.

Allen topped 30 minutes for the fourth time with Cleveland and notched his fourth double-double in his last five games. He shot extremely well from the field, but did struggle from the free-throw line to put a damper on his otherwise strong effort. Allen has been excellent on the defensive side of the floor in 17 games with the Cavaliers by averaging 1.6 blocks and 0.4 steals.

Allen and the Cavaliers will not play Wednesday against San Antonio after the game was postponed, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

The Spurs are dealing with a number of COVID-19 positives, so the league has called off their next four games. The Cavs will now have five consecutive off days before Sunday's home matchup against Oklahoma City.

Allen registered 13 points (5-12 FG, 3-4 FT), 14 rebounds, two blocks, an assist and a steal across 29 minutes in Monday's loss against the Warriors.

Allen has started four of Cleveland's last five games and has scored at least 13 points in each of those contests while also posting three double-doubles in that stretch. With Andre Drummond out of the picture due to trade negotiations, the former Nets big man is expected to get the bulk of playing time at center and that should boost his upside going forward, especially with him being a nightly double-double threat.

The Cavaliers plan to make Allen their starting center moving forward, as the team no longer intends to play Andre Drummond while they work to move the two-time All-Star prior to the March 25 trade deadline, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Drummond was held out for the front end of a back-to-back set in Sunday's 128-111 loss to the Clippers in what was attributed to a rest day, allowing Allen to pick up his fourth start with the Cavaliers since he was acquired from Brooklyn in mid-January. Allen turned in 15 points (6-10 FG, 3-3 FT), 10 rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes, and that level of production -- plus regular contributions in the blocks category -- is probably a good representation of what to expect from him moving forward, now that the Cavaliers have made it clear they're not interested in having Drummond split playing time with the 22-year-old. Given that Allen is set to become a restricted free agent this offseason, the rebuilding Cavaliers are incentivized to give him a long look over the next few months to determine whether he's someone who can fit well with the team's young core beyond 2020-21.

Drummond is expected to return to the lineup Monday, but a return to the bench doesn't affect Allen's minutes much as he is playing a consistent amount for his new team regardless of his role.

With Andre Drummond (rest) ruled out, Allen will move into the lineup at center. The big man went for 22 points, six rebounds and two blocks against Portland on Friday, and he'll likely be set for a boost in minutes Sunday night.

Allen recorded 22 points (7-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-15 FT), six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal over 24 minutes in Friday's 129-110 loss to the Trail Blazers.

Allen returned to the bench Friday after starting each of the past two games for the Cavaliers. While he couldn't replicate his double-double from Wednesday's loss to the Nuggets, Allen was quite effective on the scoreboard and was one of two Cavaliers to top 20 points against Portland. Across the past three games, the 22-year-old is averaging 18.0 points and 7.0 rebounds over 28.0 minutes per contest.

Allen isn't starting Friday's game against the Trail Blazers, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Allen started the past two games for the Cavaliers and recorded a double-double in Wednesday's loss to the Nuggets. However, he'll come off the bench in Friday's contest with Taurean Prince entering the starting lineup against Portland.

Allen posted 18 points (7-11 FG, 0-1 3PT, 4-5 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and one block through 26 minutes in the 133-95 loss to Denver on Wednesday.

Allen was fantastic in his second game after joining the starting rotation. The center for the most part has played from the bench this season, but as of a few days ago, the Cavaliers wanted to make their lineup bigger. It is still hard to tell exactly what sort of production can be expected from Allen, but all signs point up as of right now.

Allen will start Monday's game against the Suns, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

The Cavs will elect to go with big with their starting five in the absence of the injured Larry Nance (finger). Allen impressed in his last start Feb. 1 against Minnesota, finishing with 23 points, 18 rebounds, five blocks and an assist in 35 minutes.

Allen had seven points (3-8 FG, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, five assists, two blocks and a steal across 26 minutes off the bench during the Cavaliers' 121-99 loss to the Clippers on Tuesday night.

Allen matched a team-high by dishing out five assists. His plus-11 for the game also paced Cleveland. Despite a poor showing from Andre Drummond, Allen wasn't utilized early. Should Drummond be dealt at the deadline, Allen would potentially step into a tantalizing fantasy role.

Allen will come off the bench for Wednesday's game against the Clippers, Joe Gabriele of the Cavaliers' official site reports.

With the return of Andre Drummond to the lineup, Allen will reassume his role as the primary backup center for the Cavaliers. The 22-year-old made the most of his first start with the team, contributing 23 points, 18 rebounds, five blocks and one assist in Monday's win over the Timberwolves. As long as Drummond is available, however, Allen isn't likely to see the kind of minutes he saw on Monday.

In a game where nothing seemed to go right for the Cavaliers, Allen's performance was quite nice -- the big man outplayed Andre Drummond in minutes and points despite coming off the bench. All signs point towards Allen grabbing a bigger role if Drummond gets traded later this season, but the former Nets center is finding ways to make an impact even when holding a bench role in most games.

Allen was one of seven Cleveland players that scored in double digits, and the recently-acquired center was quite sharp on both ends of the court by missing just two shots and leading the team in rebounds. He benefited from the fact Andre Drummond played just 18 minutes in a game that was already a blowout after the first quarter, but he is staying productive regardless of his minutes out there -- he has scored in double digits in eight of his last nine games considering before and after the trade.

Allen led the Cleveland bench with 19 points (7-9 FG, 5-6 FT) and six rebounds across 19 minutes Friday in the Cavaliers' 125-113 win over the Nets.

Since coming over from Brooklyn last week in the four-team trade that sent James Harden to the Nets, Allen has proceeded to turn in a pair of quality performances against his former team in his first two games with the Cavs. After going off for 12 points, 11 boards, four blocks, two assists and one steal in 31 minutes Wednesday in the Cavs' 147-135 win in double overtime, Allen stepped up on the offensive end in the rematch, tying his season high in scoring. As his first two outings with Cleveland illustrate, Allen should continue to remain highly productive on a per-minute basis with his new team, but his fantasy value has undoubtedly taken a hit following the trade. Unless the Cavaliers elect to move top center Andre Drummond prior to the trade deadline, Allen will likely be stuck in a timeshare at the position in a best-case scenario.

Allen will be available to make his Cavaliers debut Wednesday versus the Nets, Brian Dulik of the Associated Press reports.

Allen and Taurean Prince will both be able to make their debuts Wednesday, exactly one week after they were included as part of the four-team trade that sent James Harden to Brooklyn. While both Allen and Prince were present for Friday's 106-103 game against the Knicks, neither was available to play while the trade was still being finalized. Look for Allen to replace JaVale McGee as the Cavs' second-unit center Wednesday, and his arrival will also result in fewer minutes for top option Andre Drummond.

There's at least one player from the recent trade that needs to pass his physical, and that prevents all players involved from playing. Allen's debut will likely occur Wednesday against the Nets, his former team, as the Sunday and Monday games against the Wizards have been postponed.

Allen was traded to the Cavaliers on Wednesday as part of a multi-team deal, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

As expected, the Nets gave up a king's ransom to acquire James Harden, sending out Allen, Caris LeVert, Taurean Prince and Rodions Kurucs, in addition to three unprotected first-round picks and four unprotected pick swaps. Rather than landing in Houston, Allen will be re-routed to Cleveland, along with teammate Taurean Prince. For Allen, it's not an ideal landing spot, given the presence of Andre Drummond, as well as Kevin Love and Larry Nance. Just over a week ago, Allen had taken over as the Nets' starting center, and he averaged 13.4 points, 10.0 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in five games as the starter.

Allen finished with 15 points (6-7 FG, 3-3 FT), 10 boards, one assist and one block in 33 minutes against of a 129-116 loss to the Thunder on Sunday.

Allen recorded his fifth double-double of the season in the loss. After failing to record a double-double in his first three games with double-digit rebounds to start the season, Allen has picked up the scoring effort. He's now scored at least 12 points in his last five games. He'll face the Nuggets on Tuesday.

Allen recorded 12 points (3-7 FG, 6-7 FT), six rebounds, six assists, a steal and a block across 30 minutes in Friday's loss against the Grizzlies.

Allen has been a double-double machine this season, reaching that feat in four of his last six games. He has made three straight starts for the Nets and has scored at least 12 points in each one while averaging 11.7 rebounds per game in that span. It's a small-sample size, but that should be enough to trust him in most formats as long as he remains in the starting lineup.

Allen scored 15 points (5-6 FG, 5-6 FT) to go with 11 rebounds, three assists and one block across 28 minutes in a 122-109 win over Philadelphia on Thursday.

Allen registered a double-double in his third straight game and second straight start as coach Steve Nash experiments with different starting lineup looks. The center kept to form and didn't attempt a field goal outside of the restricted area. Averaging a double-double this year, Allen looks to be a candidate to remain in a starting role with Deandre Jordan averaging just 4.4 points per game this season.

Allen will remain in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the 76ers, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports.

Allen probably should've been starting over DeAndre Jordan all along, but he finally got his chance Tuesday against Utah and posted a 19-point, 18-rebound double-double with three steals and two blocks. It's possible Jordan could reclaim the center spot at some point, but for now the Nets will ride with Allen.

Allen recorded 19 points (8-9 FG, 3-7 FT), 18 rebounds, three steals, two blocks and one assist across 32 minutes in a win versus Utah on Tuesday.

Allen's start assigned him to face elite defender Rudy Gobert. He held his own by recording eight rebounds and three steals more than the two-time DPOY. Allen had not started across seven previous Nets games, but Tuesday's matchup suggests that he may soon receive consistent starting time. His current season averages of 10.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks lead the team.

Allen is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Jazz, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Allen averaged 9.6 points, 10.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 22.9 minutes off the bench through the first seven games of the season, and he'll now receive his first start of the campaign. DeAndre Jordan will shift to the bench Tuesday.

Allen had 14 points (3-6 FG, 8-9 FT), 11 rebounds, four blocks and one steal during a loss to the Wizards on Sunday.

Allen entered Sunday's game having produced his worst fantasy performance of the season Friday. He was more efficient on both sides of the ball Sunday, marking his first four-block double-double since Jan. 25 at Detroit. Allen will look to provide a similar performance in Tuesday's game versus Utah.

Allen had just vie points (2-3 FG, 1-1 FT) and four rebounds in Friday's loss to Atlanta.

Coming off of a 15-point, 13-board double-double, Allen failed to carry over any momentum, as he had his worst fantasy performance of the season in 22 minutes off the bench. Despite the limited action behind DeAndre Jordan, Allen is still providing fantasy managers with 8.8 points, 10.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks on the season. He's also field goal percentage buoy (66.7% FG) and an above-average free throw shooter (75% FT) for a true center.

Allen ended with 15 points (6-7 FG, 3-5 FT), 13 rebounds and one assist in 24 minutes during Wednesday's 145-141 victory over the Hawks.

Allen continues to come off the bench for the Nets but is proving to be the more consistent center option. DeAndre Jordan played only 15 minutes as the starter, providing very little on either end of the floor. The Nets appear intent on leaving Jordan in the opening unit, something that certainly limits Allen's fantasy upside. That said, Allen does have more appeal in a two-horse race and should be able to flirt with top-100 numbers moving forward.

Allen produced nine points (2-3 FG, 5-6 FT), 11 rebounds, four blocked shots and an assist across 21 minutes in Friday's 123-95 win over the Celtics.

Although DeAndre Jordan drew the start at center, Allen logged more playing time and outplayed him in every category. This positional battle will be one to watch as the season continues, but in the short term, the Nets will likely continue with this timeshare in the paint.

Allen came off the bench for Tuesday's opener against the Warriors, finishing with eight points (2-3 FG, 4-5 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal.

The game was a blowout from the first quarter onward, so it may not have been the best example of what the Nets' rotation will look like over the course of the season. Nonetheless, Allen saw 20 minutes as the backup to DeAndre Jordan and turned in a productive all-around outing. For now, Jordan will likely continue to work with the first unit, but Allen is the more appealing fantasy player, assuming their minutes are split relatively evenly.

Allen and the Nets won't agree to a rookie extension before Monday's deadline, so he'll become a restricted free agent after the 2020-21 season, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports.

It's unclear if the two sides ever got close to reaching a deal, and the 22-year-old will play this season on his rookie deal and hit restricted free agency next summer. Allen averaged 11.1 points, 9.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.3 blocks in 26.5 minutes across 70 games during the 2019-20 campaign.

Allen recorded four points (4-4 FT), 17 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 32 minutes during Friday's 117-92 Game 3 loss to the Raptors.

Oddly, Allen did not attempt a field goal in Friday's game. It's just the fifth time in NBA history, regular season or playoffs, that a player has grabbed at least 17 boards with no field goals attempted. The only two other people to achieve the feat are, surprisingly, Wilt Chamberlain and, unsurprisingly, Dennis Rodman.

Allen recorded 14 points (5-9 FG, 4-6 FT), 15 rebounds, five assists and three blocks in 40 minutes during Wednesday's 104-99 Game 2 loss to the Raptors.

Allen had one of the best games of his career in the loss, having never previously recorded that statline. Taking the assists out of the equation, it's just the second time (regular season or playoffs) that Allen has posted at least 14 points, 15 rebounds and three blocks. The performance also marks Allen's fifth straight double-double.

Allen tallied 14 points (5-8 FG, 4-9 FT), 11 rebounds and three blocked shots across 37 minutes in Thursday's 134-133 loss to the Trail Blazers.

Jusuf Murkic posed a big challenge for Allen, but he fared well on Thursday in the paint. He was especially potent in the fourth quarter, where his offensive boards allowed second and third opportunities for the Nets to score. Allen posted one of his many double-doubles against Toronto this season, which bodes well for his potential performance in the first round of the playoffs.

Allen will be available for Thursday's game against Portland, Greg Logan of Newsday reports.

Allen was one of several regulars who sat out Tuesday's win over Orlando, but he went through practice Wednesday and will be available for Thursday's seeding game finale. Allen's minutes could be limited, however, as the Nets are locked into the No. 7 seed.

Allen will not play in Tuesday's game against the Magic due to a sprained left ankle, Greg Logan of Newsday reports.

The eight dimes were still a new career high, and Allen could continue to get opportunities to showcase the distribution side of his game as the regular season concludes given the tattered state of the Nets' backcourt. Through four games in the bubble, the center is now averaging 16.0 points, 9.8 boards and 4.3 assists -- the latter number being more than triple his career average in that category.

Allen (ankle) will be available Friday against the Kings, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

Despite dealing with an ankle injury, Allen will take the court Friday. In his first three bubble appearances, he's averaging 15.7 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 31.0 minutes.

It was an important win for the Nets as they look to secure one of the final playoff spots in the Eastern Conference. Still, those considering Allen for fantasy purposes heading into Tuesday's tilt against the Bucks would be wise to keep in mind that Milwaukee possesses one of the league's top defenses.

Allen was able to find his own shot and get his teammates involved, but he couldn't stop Nikola Vucevic, and he failed to record a defensive stat. Given the number of players missing from Brooklyn, Allen should continue being a bigger offensive force than we're used to.

Allen accumulated 19 points (9-12 FG, 1-4 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 30 minutes during Monday's 112-107 scrimmage loss to the Jazz.

Allen turned in an extremely impressive two-way performance while notching yet another double-double. Allen, Caris LeVert and Joe Harris will be called upon to lead the charge for a Nets team that's perhaps more decimated than any other in terms of injuries and illnesses. As such, Allen is a good bet to provide ample statistical production for the remainder of the restart.

Allen registered 10 points (4-5 FG, 2-4 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 24 minutes during Saturday's 124-119 scrimmage win over the Spurs.

Allen now has back-to-back double-doubles in two Orlando scrimmages. The 22-year-old Texas product has been playing well enough to show he can be an asset on both ends of the court when play resumes next week. He is expected to play as the starting center following DeAndre Jordan's decision to opt-out of the tournament.

Allen notched 10 points (4-5 FG, 2-3 FT), 10 rebounds and one assist in 23 minutes during Wednesday's 99-68 loss against the Pelicans.

Allen was extremely effective, missing just one of his shots and one of his free throws on route to a double-double. The absence of DeAndre Jordan, who opted out after testing positive for COVID-19, has locked Allen into a starting role once the regular season resumes.

Allen is expected to serve as the Nets' starting center when the team resumes its season July 31 versus the Magic, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

The Nets will have only two regular members of their starting five (Caris LeVert and Joe Harris) available for the resumption of the season in Orlando, as all of Kyrie Irving (shoulder), Spencer Dinwiddie (illness), Kevin Durant (Achilles), DeAndre Jordan (illness), Taurean Prince (illness), Wilson Chandler (personal) and Nicolas Claxton (shoulder) won't be joining the team at the Walt Disney World complex. Shortly before the NBA shutdown in mid-March, Allen was moved out of the starting five in favor of Jordan, who had essentially been splitting minutes with the former all season. With Jordan now out of the mix, Allen should have a real chance at approaching 30 minutes in most games if he can stay out of foul trouble, which should dramatically improve the 22-year-old's fantasy outlook moving forward. Former coach Kenny Atkinson had already routinely been splitting the center minutes between Allen and DeAndre Jordan, but the 21-year-old's fantasy outlook may be even worse under new bench boss Jacque Vaughn. In his first game at the helm, Vaughn immediately swapped Allen out of the starting five in favor of Jordan, who posted a double-double (11 points, 15 rebounds) to go with three blocks in 29 minutes. The 29-34 Nets' decision to prioritize the 31-year-old Jordan over Allen may be a questionable one, but if it persists, Allen will be tough to hold in standard leagues.

Allen finished with more fouls than points and more turnovers (two) than assists. After earning the majority of minutes at center in each of the first several months this season, Allen has been overshadowed by DeAndre Jordan here in February.

Allen scored 16 points (8-8 FG, 0-1 FT) while adding 11 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal in 26 minutes during Monday's 115-113 loss to the Magic.

The clanked free throw ruined his perfect shooting night, but otherwise Allen thrived by cleaning up misses by the Nets' shooters. The third-year center has double-doubles in three of the last four games, but his zero-point, two-board performance in the fourth game highlights how volatile he remains as a fantasy asset.

Allen finished with zero points (0-4 FG), two rebounds and two turnovers in 13 minutes during Brooklyn's 112-104 loss to the 76ers on Thursday.

Allen failed to finish his attempts around the basket and could not combat the physicality of Joel Embiid, leading to increased run for DeAndre Jordan. Allen had an alarming minus-15 in his 13 minutes. Regardless of the (extreme) off night, he'll remain a key fixture of the Nets' rotations.

Allen ended up with 10 points (3-6 FG, 4-5 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists and one block in 20 minutes during Wednesday's 101-91 win over the Raptors.

Allen had a solid outing but has now earned 20 minutes or less in four straight games. Overall he's still averaging career highs in most statistical categories, but it may be tough for him to maintain those career highs if Allen doesn't start earning more minutes than DeAndre Jordan on a more consistent basis. Still, Allen is already up to 23 double-doubles through 53 appearances this season, this after logging 24 across 80 games in 2018-19.

Allen had three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 FT), six rebounds and one steal in 19 minutes during Saturday's 119-118 loss to the Raptors.

Allen took a back seat to DeAndre Jordan, who racked up 15 points, 14 boards and three blocks in 29 minutes. Allen has combined to play 37 minutes across the last two contests, so it's clear coach Kenny Atkinson is willing to stick with the hot hand. Even still, Allen is usually the superior option for fantasy purposes.

Allen managed 20 points (8-13 FG, 4-6 FT), 15 rebounds, four blocks, an assist and a steal in 40 minutes during Saturday's 121-111 win over the Pistons.

The third-year center made an immediate impact on defense, stuffing Detroit rookie Sekou Doumbouya twice and star Andre Drummond once for three blocks within the game's first seven minutes. The 21-year-old would proceed to achieve just his third double-double with at least 20 points and 15 rebounds. Allen is averaging near double-double numbers this season and will look to continue his pace on the road against New York, where he scored 18 points and grabbed 10 boards the last time he played at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 24.

Allen had seven points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds and one block in 30 minutes during Thursday's loss to the Lakers.

Allen should continue to see a slightly larger role due to DeAndre Jordan being forced to the sidelines with a dislocated finger. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, he flopped in this one, struggling from the field, and finding himself unable to contribute much outside of those eight rebounds against Dwight Howard and Anthony Davis. The 21-year old has been a strong, shallow league-relevant player this season, but can raise his stock even higher if he avoids outings like this one, and starts to show the consistency from the free-throw line that we've seen from him over the previous two years.

Allen scored 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 FT) and added 13 rebounds along with two assists, one steal and a block across 31 minutes Monday against Philadelphia.

Allen made the most of his opportunities Monday, finishing in double figures after attempting just eight shots. He was also a force on the boards, securing 13 rebounds, though the Nets would fall 117-111. Allen has registered 10 or more rebounds in five of his last six games, collecting four double-doubles over that stretch.

Allen had 10 points (4-5 FG, 2-7 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 24 minutes during Sunday's 108-86 win over the Hawks.

The fact that Allen has racked up double-doubles in consecutive games should represent a boost moving forward, as he averaged 9.5 points and 8.2 boards in the 11 games prior to these back-to-back double-doubles. Even if he has been inconsistent of late, Allen should remain a reliable fantasy asset in most formats due to decent rebounding stats and strong field goal percentage.

Allen had 11 points (5-6 FG, 1-1 FT), 11 rebounds, a block and a steal in 28 minutes during Friday's 117-113 win over the Heat.

Allen only needed three quarters for all his scoring and rebounding, despite going cold statistically with a close contest in the fourth. It's still an encouraging sign, considering that the 21-year-old started from the bench Jan. 2 for poor performances and averaged pedestrian numbers (eight points and 6.7 rebounds) since returning to the starting five. The center's next game is Sunday with Atlanta, a team he dominated for 20 points and 13 rebounds on Dec. 4, a collective feat achieved only three times this season.

Allen (ankle) is available for Friday's game against the Kings, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports.

Allen was listed as probable with a right ankle sprain after suffering and playing through the injury Wednesday, so it's no surprise he's good to go. The 21-year-old is averaging 10.4 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 25.6 minutes and should take his usual place in Brooklyn's starting five.

Allen is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Kings with a right ankle sprain, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports.

Allen apparently picked up the injury during Wednesday's win over the Hornets, though it didn't seem to affect the big man, as he still finished with 22 points, 17 rebounds and two steals in 28 minutes. Look for his status to clear up closer to tip-off.
