Green was extremely efficient offensively while stuffing the stat sheet across every category except blocks. He is holding down the fort as a small-ball center for long stretches and put forth one of his finest performances in recent memory in this one. Moreover, Green was one of five Rockets who earned at least 30 minutes in Game 1, so it's clear coach Mike D'Antoni is willing to play his backups big minutes on nights when the reserves are rolling.

Green will start Friday's finale against the 76ers, Cayleigh Griffin of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

With Danuel House (toe) sidelined, Green will make his fourth start of the season. In his previous three starts, he's averaged 10.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 25.7 minutes.

Green will come off the bench Wednesday against the Pacers, Ben DuBose of The Rockets Wire reports.

With Eric Gordon joining the starting five and Ben McLemore sliding up to small forward while Russell Westbrook (rest) sits, Green will revert back to his usual bench role. In the bubble, the veteran is averaging 14.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 25.0 minutes.

Green will start Tuesday's game against the Spurs, Cayleigh Griffin of ATT SportsNet Southwest reports.

With Danuel House (toe) out, Green will move into the lineup for his first start in a Rockets uniform. The journeyman has played well through his first five bubble games, averaging 13.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.0 steal in 23.8 minutes. Over a three-game stretch against Milwaukee, Portland and the Lakers from Aug. 2 through Aug. 6, Green drained 11 three-pointers.

Green produced 15 points (6-13 FG, 3-10 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and two steals across 27 minutes in Thursday's 113-97 win over the Lakers.

Green provides support for Houston's small-ball backcourt and at least in Orlando, his minutes have been plentiful. He's averaging just over 24 minutes per game in the bubble, which is a full five minutes more than his seasonal average.

Green totaled 22 points (7-15 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and one assist in 28 minutes during Tuesday's 110-102 loss to Portland.

Green scored seven points in 60 seconds to tie the game late in the fourth quarter, but it would ultimately be for naught as the Rockets would go on to lose. The 33-year-old led the team in three-pointers on the evening and just one point shy of tying James Harden for the highest scorer. The Georgetown product will look to keep that momentum Thursday against the Lakers.

Green and the Rockets agreed to a contract Tuesday that will keep him in Houston for the remainder of the season, Jordan Schultz of ESPN.com reports.

Green's 10-day deal wasn't set to expire until after Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies, but Houston apparently won't waste any time keeping the veteran in the fold for the rest of 2019-20. Since joining the team over the All-Star break, Green has quickly captured a meaningful role off the bench. In his first three games with Houston, Green is averaging 9.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.7 three-pointers, 1.0 assist and 1.0 steal in 17.7 minutes.

Green logged 17 points (6-7 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), for rebounds and a steal across 24 minutes in Thursday's 135-105 win over the Warriors.

The Rockets represent Green's ninth team in his 12-year career, but the journeyman may be just what the doctor ordered in Houston. The newly-signed 6-9 forward can play a reserve role and shore up the undersized frontcourt employed by Houston moving forward. The big surprise in Green's debut was a much-improved three-point stroke. He helped stretch the floor with four threes in five attempts.

Green will make his Rockets debut Thursday against the Warriors, Craig Ackerman of the Rockets' radio network reports.

Green signed a 10-day contract with Houston during the All-Star break and will add some size to a Rockets roster that is currently embracing playing without a true center. The veteran has shot 33.3-percent from long range over the course of his career and should be a welcome addition to the league's most prolific three-point shooting team.

Green will likely sign with the Rockets, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Green is expected to join Houston in the coming days after being waived by the Jazz back in December. Across 30 games this season, Green is averaging 7.8 points and 2.7 rebounds in 18.4 minutes.
