Drains four triples in win
Hart ended Tuesday's 117-101 win over the Raptors with 21 points (8-11 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, four assists and two steals over 36 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been a jack-of-all-trades since joining the starting lineup, averaging 16.3 points, 9.6 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 2.0 steals, 0.4 blocks and 2.3 threes on a blistering 44.7 percent clip across 35.3 minutes in nine starts. Ever since electing to roll with Hart over Mitchell Robinson with the first unit, the Knicks are 8-1, and the former's spot in that lineup is likely to stay for the forseeable future.
Dec 8, 2025
Double-double against Orlando
Hart notched 17 points (7-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt), 12 rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals in 34 minutes during Sunday's 106-100 victory over the Magic.
ANALYSIS
The veteran forward continues to put up strong numbers in the starting five. Hart has pulled down double-digit boards four times in eight games since joining the first unit, averaging 15.9 points, 10.0 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 2.1 threes and 2.0 steals during that stretch. Sunday's double-double was his sixth of the season.
Dec 4, 2025
Fills stat sheet in win
Hart registered 15 points (4-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 6-7 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists, one block and one steal across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 119-104 victory over the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Hart continues his jack-of-all-trades campaign after being elevated to the starting lineup, averaging 17.0 points, 10.3 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 2.2 steals, 0.5 blocks and 2.3 threes on a surprising 43.8 percent clip across 36.7 minutes in his six starts this season. His value to this Knicks roster has been immeasurable especially with OG Anunoby (hamstring) and Landry Shamet (shoulder) sidelined, and he figures to retain a prominent role even after one or both of the aforementioned players return due to his tremendous production.
Nov 30, 2025
Double-doubles with three steals
Hart chipped in 20 points (8-12 FG, 4-7 3Pt), 12 rebounds, seven assists and three steals in 35 minutes during Sunday's 116-94 victory over Toronto.
ANALYSIS
Hart led the Knicks in rebounds, assists and steals in the win, and New York has now gone 4-0 with Hart in the starting lineup. He's been remarkable over that four-game stretch, scoring 17.0 points on 53.3 percent shooting from the field and 84.6 percent at the stripe to go with 7.0 assists, 11.8 rebounds and 2.8 steals a night.
Nov 29, 2025
Fills stat sheet Friday
Hart ended Friday's 118-109 victory over the Bucks with 19 points (5-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 9-10 FT), 15 rebounds, seven assists and three steals over 40 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Hart wasn't sharp with his shot and struggled to take advantage of his looks from beyond the arc, but the veteran forward stepped up and delivered an excellent all-around showing. Hart finished just three assists away from recording a triple-double, and the 15-rebound haul was his best output of the campaign in that category. He's recorded double-digit rebounds six times this season and already notched a triple-double, accomplishing that feat in a win over the Heat on Nov. 14.
Nov 24, 2025
Starting Monday
Hart will start Monday's game against the Nets, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
With Mitchell Robinson (illness) and Landry Shamet (shoulder) joining OG Anunoby (hamstring) on the sidelines, Miles McBride and Josh Hart will enter the starting lineup. The 30-year-old forward has scored in double figures in five straight games, averaging 12.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 5.6 assists in 29.0 minutes per contest during that span.
Nov 20, 2025
Double-double off bench
Hart accumulated 16 points (5-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal over 30 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 113-111 victory over Dallas.
ANALYSIS
The double-double was his third of the season in 13 games, including one triple-double. Hart has exclusively come off the bench so far in 2025-26 and hasn't been seeing his usual hefty workload, but he's played at least 30 minutes in four of the last five games while averaging 12.0 points, 6.8 assists, 6.6 boards, 1.4 steals and 1.2 threes in 29.2 minutes a contest.
Nov 18, 2025
Near double-double in loss
Hart racked up 14 points (6-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, nine assists, one block and two steals over 34 minutes during Monday's 115-113 loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
While Hart did not join the starting lineup due to the absence of OG Anunoby (hamstring), he will still see an increase in usage, and he has now logged back-to-back games with at least nine assists and three of his last four games with at least eight assists. While six turnovers can be a bit concerning, turbulence from suddenly heightened usage can be expected, as Hart essentially operates as one of the primary facilitators due to the absence of Jalen Brunson (ankle) as well.
Nov 12, 2025
Logs season-high 30 minutes
Hart notched eight points (2-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, eight assists and two steals across 30 minutes during Tuesday's 133-120 victory over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Hart saw 30 minutes for the first time this season, dishing out a season-best eight assists. After a slow start, Hart is beginning to round into form, averaging 12.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists over the past five games. Now would be the time to add him, if he is still available in your league.
Nov 10, 2025
Scores 11 off bench
Hart finished Sunday's 134-98 win over Brooklyn with 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal over 21 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been an important piece off the bench for New York and is on a streak of scoring 10-plus points in now four consecutive games. In those four games, Hart is averaging 13.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 0.5 steals and 2.0 threes made, which is terrific production following his rather slow start to the season.
Nov 3, 2025
Logs first double-double of season
Hart registered 12 points (5-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt), 10 rebounds and five assists over 26 minutes during the Knicks' 119-102 win over the Wizards on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Hart was cleared to play Monday after initially being listed as questionable due to a sprained left ankle. It didn't seem to bother him too much, as he led the bench with 26 minutes en route to his first double-double of the season. Hart started in all 77 regular-season games for the Knicks last year, but he has come off the bench in each of his six outings and appears to be destined for a sixth-man role for the 2025-26 campaign. He is averaging 6.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 0.7 steals over 23.5 minutes per game to open the season.
Nov 3, 2025
Will play Monday
Hart (ankle) will play in Monday's game against the Wizards, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
After logging 26 minutes in Sunday's win over Chicago, Hart will shed his questionable tag due to a sprained left ankle and suit up in the second leg of New York's back-to-back set. Over five regular-season appearances, the 30-year-old forward has averaged 5.0 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 23.0 minutes per game off the bench.
Nov 3, 2025
Questionable for Monday
Hart (ankle) is questionable to play Monday against the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Hart played 26 minutes in Sunday's win over the Bulls, but is in danger of missing the second leg of New York's back-to-back. With Mitchell Robinson (ankle) already ruled out, it is likely Guerschon Yabusele plays a more prominent role Monday.
Oct 31, 2025
Logs 15 minutes Friday
Hart amassed zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and one assist in 15 minutes during Friday's 135-125 loss to the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Hart hit rock bottom in the loss, failing to score in arguably the worst performance of his career. With Mitchell Robinson returning to action, the path to minutes for Hart just got even murkier. Despite coming off a breakout season, the current trajectory for Hart makes it hard to make a case for him being a must-roster player.
Oct 29, 2025
Muted performance in loss
Hart registered three points (1-5 FG, 1-4 3Pt), four rebounds, four assists and two steals over 26 minutes during Tuesday's 121-111 loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Hart had another difficult showing offensively Tuesday. Through three appearances, he's shooting 22.2 percent from the field. A career 47.0 percent shooter in the regular season, Hart is obviously overdue for some positive regression. He has been effective elsewhere with 7.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game.
Oct 26, 2025
Cleared with no restrictions Sunday
Hart (back) is available with no minutes restrictions for Sunday's game against the Heat, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart, who was trending toward playing, will suit up Sunday with no reported minutes restrictions for the first time this season. The wing tallied just two points and three assists in his season debut Friday but was impactful on the glass, hauling in 14 rebounds across 19 minutes. With Miles McBride (personal) unavailable, Hart is a candidate to slide into the starting five.
Oct 25, 2025
Likely to play Sunday
Hart (back) has been listed as probable to play in Sunday's game against the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Hart is dealing with back spasms, which have bothered him since the preseason. However, he seems to be trending in the right direction after making his season debut against the Celtics on Friday. Finished with 14 rebounds, three assists and two points in 19 minutes off the bench against Boston.
Oct 24, 2025
Grabs 14 boards in season debut
Hart recorded two points (1-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt), 14 rebounds and three assists over 19 minutes during the Knicks' 105-95 win over the Celtics on Friday.
ANALYSIS
A lingering back injury from the preseason prevented Hart from playing against the Cavaliers on Opening Night, but he was cleared to come off the bench Friday. He struggled with his shot and played just 19 minutes, but he made that time count by grabbing a game-high 14 boards. Hart should usurp Miles McBride in the starting lineup once the former's back injury is fully behind him.
Oct 24, 2025
Will play Friday
Hart (back) will play Friday against the Celtics, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart acknowledged that the back is still giving him issues, but he'll gut it out and get out there for Friday's game. He'll come off the bench, and considering he's stating that he's not yet 100 percent, he will likely have some minutes restrictions.
Oct 23, 2025
Questionable vs. Celtics
Hart (back) is questionable for Friday's game against the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Still nursing a back problem, Hart will be trying to make his season debut Friday. With Mitchell Robinson getting another night off against Boston, Hart would be in line for a significant role whether he starts or not if he's able to suit up.
Oct 21, 2025
Won't play vs. Cleveland
Hart (back) has been ruled out for Wednesday's season opener against the Cavaliers, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart continues to deal with a back issue, which has kept him out of practice this week. The Villanova product has been dealing with the issue since Oct. 2. The team will likely pivot to Pacome Dadiet and Landry Shamet to help pick up the slack.
Oct 21, 2025
Misses another practice
Hart (back) did not practice Tuesday, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been dealing with a lingering back issue since the beginning of October and has yet to log a full practice. The Knicks will release their injury report Tuesday evening ahead of their matchup against Cleveland on Wednesday, but for now, it sounds like a questionable tag is the most optimistic designation his fantasy managers can expect.
Oct 20, 2025
Absent from practice
Hart (back) did not practice Monday, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart missed the majority of the preseason with this lingering back issue. Coach Mike Brown didn't reveal Hart's status for Opening Night against the Cavaliers on Wednesday, but the forward sounds questionable at best. If Hart is unable to play, guys like Jordan Clarkson, Miles McBride and Guerschon Yabusele could be more involved.
Oct 17, 2025
Out Friday
Hart (back) has been ruled out for Friday's preseason game against the Hornets, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart won't suit up at all during the preseason due to back spasms, and his next opportunity to play will come in the team's regular-season opener against Cleveland on Wednesday. The 30-year-old swingman was limited to individual drills in Thursday's practice, and his status will be worth monitoring ahead of Opening Night.
Oct 16, 2025
Limited again Thursday
Hart (back) was limited to individual work at Thursday's practice, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart remains day-to-day with his ongoing back issues. His status for Friday's preseason finale against the Hornets remains in the air, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see the Knicks take a cautious approach. It's looking increasingly likely that Hart will be the sixth man for New York this season.
Oct 15, 2025
Uncertain for preseason finale
Hart (back) is nearing a return but remains questionable for Friday's preseason matchup against the Hornets, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been dealing with back spasms and appears to be nearing a return, though it remains to be seen whether the Knicks will have him log preseason minutes or wait until the regular-season opener. The versatile veteran, who started all 77 of his appearances last season, could transition into more of a high-energy bench role for the 2025-26 campaign.
Oct 13, 2025
Won't play Monday
Hart (back, illness) won't play in Monday's preseason game against the Wizards, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
The Knicks will give Hart a chance to rest his balky back spasms Monday. His next chance to return to the lineup arrives Friday against the Hornets.
Oct 12, 2025
Limited at practice
Hart (back, illness) was limited to individual work at Sunday's practice, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been dealing with some back spasms since the beginning of preseason and has also been under the weather for a couple days. He's trending in the right direction, however. Knicks coach Mike Brown didn't discuss player availability for Monday's exhibition against the Wizards, but he didn't rule out some players from getting some maintenance.
Oct 9, 2025
Sitting out with illness
Hart (illness) won't play in Thursday's preseason game against the Timberwolves, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been ruled out due to an illness, but it's unclear if he's still nursing back spasms as well. His next chance to see preseason action comes in Monday's exhibition clash with the Hornets. In the interim, Guerschon Yabusele and Pacome Dadiet will both have an opportunity to play an expanded role Thursday.
Oct 8, 2025
Misses another practice
Hart (back, illness) did not practice Wednesday, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart, who is already dealing with back spasms, stayed home Wednesday due to an illness. Coach Mike Brown said he was unsure if Hart would suit up for Thursday's exhibition against Minnesota, but it seems likely that the Knicks will exercise caution here. The forward is considered day-to-day, to be clear.
Oct 7, 2025
Sits out practice Tuesday
Hart (back) did not practice Tuesday, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.
ANALYSIS
According to coach Mike Brown, Hart is considered day-to-day. Hart picked up his injury in New York's preseason opener Thursday, but the issue is considered minor. That being said, it remains to be seen if the forward will be held out of Thursday's preseason game against Minnesota.
Oct 4, 2025
Bench role Saturday
Hart (back) has been cleared to play in Saturday's game against the 76ers, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Despite dealing with a back injury, which he suffered in the team's preseason opener Thursday, the veteran forward will suit up and come off the bench. Along with going down with the back issue in the first game against Philadelphia, the Villanova product was ejected from the game for throwing the ball away. He'll look for a bounce-back performance Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
Oct 2, 2025
Will be re-evaluated Friday
Hart (back) will be re-evaluated Friday, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart is dealing with lower back soreness in the aftermath of Thursday's preseason opener against the 76ers. Fantasy managers can consider him day-to-day until he's re-evaluated. Jordan Clarkson and Malcolm Brogdon are candidates for more playing time if Hart misses Saturday's preseason game against Philadelphia.
Oct 2, 2025
Forgettable outing vs. Philadelphia
Hart finished with two points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and one assist across seven minutes during Thursday's 99-84 win over the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Hart's night came to an end much earlier than anticipated, as he appeared to hurt his back and was ejected for throwing the ball away. He made an impact on the glass in seven minutes on the floor, but that's certainly not what his performance will be remembered for, as his team got the preseason underway overseas.
Oct 2, 2025
Goes to locker room, ejected
Hart appeared to tweak his back during Thursday's preseason game against the 76ers and went to the locker room, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports. He was ejected following the play for throwing the basketball away, finishing with two points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three boards and one assist in seven minutes.
ANALYSIS
Hart was on the floor in pain for quite some time before he was able to get up and hobble to the locker room. He picked up a technical foul and was ejected, so it's unclear if this injury would've prevented him from returning.
Oct 2, 2025
Not starting preseason opener
Hart won't start Thursday's preseason opener against the 76ers, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
After starting all 77 of his regular-season appearances last season under head coach Tom Thibodeau, Hart will come off the bench during Mike Brown's first game in charge. Hart has been dealing with a finger injury, but he's expected to play through it.
Sep 23, 2025
Will play through finger issue
Hart (finger) said Tuesday that he will play through his injury this season and address it next offseason, ESPN's Tim Bontemps reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart underwent finger surgery back on July 16, but he recently re-aggravated it. He said he'll probably wear a splint on it this season before trying to get it taken care of again next summer. Hart added that if he doesn't feel like he's able to be himself because of the issue, then he'll consider dealing with it sooner. With training camp about to start up, this wasn't the update prospective fantasy managers were hoping for, but it's not a surprise to hear that Hart wants to power through it.
Jul 16, 2025
Undergoes finger surgery
Hart (finger) underwent surgery and is expected to resume basketball activities later in the summer, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart underwent a procedure on his right ring finger following an injury sustained during the 2025 postseason. The versatile wing started 77 regular-season games last year, averaging 13.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.5 steals in 37.6 minutes, though he moved to a bench role for the final four games of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Pacers. The surgery isn't expected to impact Hart's availability for the start of the 2025-26 season, but his role in the rotation could change with new head coach Mike Brown at the helm in place of Tom Thibodeau.
Apr 13, 2025
Won't play Sunday
Hart (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Nets, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
The only starter who's going to suit up for the regular-season finale is Mikal Bridges, who'll likely only play a few minutes to maintain his consecutive games played streak. Hart should be ready to go for the first-round matchup against the Pistons.
Apr 12, 2025
Nabs another questionable tag
Hart (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Hart could sit out Sunday's regular-season finale alongside the majority of the Knicks' starters. If Hart is ruled out, Landry Shamet, Pacome Dadiet and MarJon Beauchamp are all candidates to receive increased playing time.
Apr 11, 2025
Good to go Friday
Hart (knee) is available for Friday's game against the Cavaliers, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart, Jalen Brunson (ankle) and OG Anunoby (thumb) have all been cleared to play, but Karl-Anthony Towns has been ruled out. Hart missed only his fourth game of the season Thursday in Detroit and has averaged 37.6 minutes per game since the start of March (20 games). With a win, the Knicks can lock up the three seed in the Eastern Conference.
Apr 11, 2025
Questionable for Friday
Hart (knee) is questionable for Friday's game against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
After missing Thursday's game against Detroit, the first leg of a back-to-back set, Hart is not a guarantee to return Friday evening. He's averaging 37.7 minutes per game this season across 76 games, and getting him to the postseason fresh appears to be a priority for New York.
Apr 9, 2025
Sitting out Thursday
Hart (knee) will miss Thursday's game against Detroit.
ANALYSIS
Hart, who has averaged 37.7 minutes across 76 games, will get a much-deserved night off for the first leg of this back-to-back set. Presumably, Hart will be back in action Friday against the Cavaliers.
Apr 9, 2025
Few dimes shy of triple-double
Hart contributed 10 points (5-14 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 11 rebounds, seven assists and three steals over 48 minutes before fouling out of Tuesday's 119-117 overtime loss to the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Three of the fouls came in OT, perhaps a sign of frustration after the Knicks let a three-point lead slip away in the final seconds of regulation. Hart has been making his biggest impact on the defensive end of the court to close out the regular season -- he's recorded multiple steals in nine of the last 13 games, averaging 11.3 points, 8.8 boards, 7.2 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.0 threes over that stretch.
Apr 7, 2025
Pulls down 10 rebounds
Hart finished Sunday's 112-98 victory over the Suns with seven points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists and one steal in 38 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Hart recorded his 37th game of the campaign with double-digit rebounds. With four games remaining in the regular season, Hart remains on pace to return second-round value in nine-category formats with averages of 13.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.1 three-pointers in a whopping 37.5 minutes per contest across 75 regular-season games.
Mar 30, 2025
Flirts with triple-double in win
Hart notched 14 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine assists, eight rebounds and three steals over 38 minutes in Sunday's 110-93 win over Portland.
ANALYSIS
Hart did a little bit of everything for New York in Sunday's victory, leading all players in assists to go along with a team-high-tying trio of steals and finishing second among Knicks in rebounds in a near triple-double showcase. Hart has recorded at least 10 points, eight rebounds and eight assists in 16 outings, doing so in three of his last four appearances.
Mar 25, 2025
Another triple-double in win
Hart racked up 16 points (6-9 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds, 11 assists and two steals in 33 minutes during Tuesday's 128-113 victory over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Hart recorded his ninth triple-double of the season, the most ever recorded by a Knick in a single season. It's just another accolade for Hart who is having the best season of his career. Despite a small downtick in his production of late, Hart is still putting up fantastic numbers on both ends of the floor, averaging 13.9 points, 9.7 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.1 three-pointers in 37.7 minutes per game over the course of the year.
Mar 21, 2025
Posts solid line in loss
Hart ended with 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-3 3Pt), four rebounds, six assists and one steal over 39 minutes during Thursday's 115-98 loss to Charlotte.
ANALYSIS
Right behind Karl-Anthony Towns, Hart has been second on the Knicks in nine-category fantasy value this season. Through 66 games, Hart is on pace to post third-round value with averages of 14.0 points, 9.6 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.1 three-pointers on 53.3 percent shooting from the field while playing 37.7 minutes.
Mar 17, 2025
Does it all in triple-double
Hart posted 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt), 13 rebounds, 11 assists, four steals and one block over 29 minutes in Monday's 116-95 win over Miami.
ANALYSIS
Hart did it all for New York in Monday's contest, leading all players in rebounds, assists and steals en route to an impressive triple-double performance. Hart has recorded a triple-double in nine games this season, recording his first since Feb. 1. Hart has now recorded a double-double in four of his last six contests.
Mar 16, 2025
Rough night Saturday
Hart finished Saturday's 97-94 loss to the Warriors with zero points (0-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt), seven rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal across 39 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Hart came up empty in the scoring column for the first time this season, missing all seven of his shot attempts. While he was able to somewhat salvage his performance with serviceable production elsewhere. it will still go down as a night to forget. The Knicks have lost four of their past six games and will need Hart to turn things around should they hope to remain competitive until Jalen Brunson returns from an ankle injury.
Mar 13, 2025
Just misses triple-double in OT win
Hart provided 11 points (4-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, nine assists and one steal over 42 minutes during Wednesday's 114-113 overtime victory over Portland.
ANALYSIS
While he led the Knicks in assists on the night, Hart needed one more to record his eighth triple-double of the season. The veteran forward has pulled down double-digit boards five times in nine appearances since returning in late February from a sore knee that cost him two games, averaging 12.9 points, 10.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.1 threes and 0.8 steals during that stretch.
Mar 8, 2025
Massive night on glass
Hart registered 14 points (6-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 20 rebounds and six assists across 46 minutes during Friday's 105-95 loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
The 20 boards were a career high for the 30-year-old, who had pulled down 19 on three different occasions. Hart's double-double was his 28th of the season, and he continues to see a huge workload -- he's played 40-plus minutes in seven of 13 appearances since the beginning of February, averaging 16.3 points, 10.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.2 steals in 39.5 minutes a contest over that stretch while shooting 51.6 percent from the floor.
Mar 7, 2025
Stuffs stat sheet in defeat
Hart contributed 18 points (6-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-7 FT), 10 rebounds, four steals and two assists in 44 minutes during Thursday's 113-109 overtime loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Hart struggled from three-point range Thursday, though he still recorded his 29th outing with a double-double or better through 59 regular-season appearances. The 30-year-old forward also tied the game-high mark in steals, racking up multiple swipes for the 25th time on the season. Over six outings since the All-Star break, Hart has averaged 12.2 points, 9.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.0 steals while shooting 46.6 percent from the field and 21.4 percent from downtown across 38.0 minutes per contest.
Mar 2, 2025
Gets green light Sunday
Hart (knee) is available for Sunday's game against Miami, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart will shake off a probable tag due to a right knee effusion and suit up Sunday. The 29-year-old has appeared in three consecutive contests following a two-game absence due to right knee patellofemoral syndrome, during which he averaged 13.0 points, 10.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.7 blocks in 36.0 minutes per contest.
Mar 1, 2025
Likely to suit up Sunday
Hart is probable for Sunday's game against the Heat due to a right knee effusion.
ANALYSIS
Hart started Friday's win over the Grizzlies but logged only 29 minutes, which represented his lowest tally since Jan. 27, while posting 12 points, four rebounds, six assists, a steal and a block. The probable tag suggests the veteran forward should be available Sunday, though. He's averaging 17.9 points, 9.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists and a combined 1.8 steals-plus-blocks over his last 10 contests.

The 29-year-old wing has thrived in a full-time starting role for the Knicks following the departure of Donte DiVincenzo this past offseason, and he should continue to rack up the counting stats in a loaded New York lineup as long as head coach Tom Thibodeau keeps Hart among the league leaders in minutes per night.

Packs stat sheet yet again
Hart contributed 17 points (6-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, six assists, three blocks and two steals across 41 minutes during Saturday's 121-106 loss to the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Hart turned in an efficient shooting performance, drilling a pair of triples for a third straight appearance. He also showed why he's such a valuable all-around contributor with his effort on the boards and as a passer. Hart's heavy workload along with his ability to post diverse final lines should continue to be valuable for fantasy managers.
Nov 21, 2024
Logs diverse line in victory
Hart ended with 19 points (8-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, six assists and three steals over 39 minutes during Wednesday's 138-122 win over the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Hart was deadly accurate from the floor and also contributed in secondary categories during the decisive win, and he stayed on the floor for 39 minutes despite New York's massive lead at the half. Every player in the first unit is getting the job done for the Knicks and Hart is a key piece. He's averaging 14.1 points, 9.0 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.1 steals over 15 games.
Nov 16, 2024
Comes close to triple-double
Hart posted 14 points (3-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-6 FT), nine rebounds, nine assists and two steals across 40 minutes during Friday's 124-122 win over the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Hart made his presence felt on both ends of the court and finished just one rebound and one assist away from recording a triple-double. The veteran guard has surpassed the 15-point mark three times all season long, but his fantasy value is tied to what he can do in peripheral stats rather than just his scoring prowess. Note that he's among the best rebounders in the league when excluding centers, as he averages 9.2 boards per contest.
Nov 13, 2024
Triple-double in Tuesday's win
Hart provided 14 points (6-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 12 rebounds, 10 assists, one block and one steal in 37 minutes during Tuesday's 111-99 victory over the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
It's the first triple-double of the season for Hart, and the seventh of his career -- all of which have come in the last two seasons with the Knicks. The 29-year-old forward appears headed for a career-best campaign, scoring in double digits in 10 straight games to begin the season and averaging 13.8 points, 9.3 boards, 5.6 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.0 threes a contest while shooting an eye-popping 58.9 percent from the floor. Hart may not have even found his ceiling yet, as his 29.4 percent shooting on three-point attempts is well below his career 34.3 percent mark.
Nov 11, 2024
Double-doubles in loss
Hart accumulated 16 points (7-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 10 rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal in 43 minutes during Sunday's 132-121 loss to the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
This was Hart's fourth double-double of the campaign. His rebounding is usually always his calling card, but his playmaking has been through the roof in November. Over his last five outings, he's averaging 6.4 assists per game.
Nov 2, 2024
Near double-double vs. Pistons
Hart had 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt), nine rebounds, four assists and two steals over 37 minutes during Friday's 128-98 win over the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Hart was the Knicks' second-leading rebounder Friday behind Karl-Anthony Towns (11), and the former was one board shy of logging his fourth consecutive double-double. Through the first five games of the 2024-25 campaign, Hart is averaging 14.2 points on 55.3 percent shooting, 10.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.4 steals over 35.6 minutes per game.

Officially active
Hart (leg) is part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Miami, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was handed a questionable tag ahead of Wednesday's game due to a lower leg contusion. However, he made it through warmups without a setback and has been given the green light. Through three games, Hart is averaging 16.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 steals across 33 minutes.
Oct 30, 2024
Trending towards playing
Hart (leg) will warm up with the intent to play Wednesday versus Miami as long as his bruised shin doesn't flare up, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart had X-rays come back negative on his lower leg, indicating merely a bruise and generating optimism for his availability Wednesday. Hart took a knee to shin during New York's loss to Cleveland on Monday.
Oct 29, 2024
Listed as questionable
Hart is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Heat due to a lower leg contusion.
ANALYSIS
Hart entered Monday's game dealing with a right ankle injury but played 38 minutes before suffering the leg contusion. If Hart is sidelined, Miles McBride would be the most likely candidate to join the starting lineup.
Oct 28, 2024
Retreats to locker room in fourth
Hart (ankle) hobbled back to the locker room in the fourth quarter of Monday's game against the Cavaliers, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
With the game nearing its end, Hart is not expected to return. The 29-year-old is working through a right ankle injury he picked up during the Knicks' 123-98 win over the Pacers on Friday, and it seems to still be bothering him.
Oct 28, 2024
In starting five Monday
Hart (ankle) is available and starting for Monday's matchup against Cleveland, per nba.com.
ANALYSIS
Hart sustained an ankle injury during Friday's win over Indiana, though he will suit up Monday without missing a game. The 29-year-old has amassed 32 points, 14 rebounds, six assists and a steal across 61 total minutes in two regular-season appearances.
Oct 28, 2024
Will play Monday
Hart (ankle) will suit up against the Cavaliers on Monday, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart is working through a right ankle injury he picked up during the Knicks' 123-98 win over the Cavaliers. If Hart's playing time is limited due the injury, then Miles McBride would be the top candidate to see an uptick in minutes off the bench.
Oct 27, 2024
Dealing with ankle injury
Hart is questionable for Monday's game against the Cavaliers due to a right ankle impingement.
ANALYSIS
Hart posted 20 points (8-15 FG), 10 rebounds, three assists and a steal in 37 minutes during Friday's win over Indiana, but he came away from the game with an ankle issue. The severity remains unclear, but if he's sidelined, Miles McBride (knee) would be a candidate to enter the starting lineup.
Oct 26, 2024
Posts double-double Friday
Hart accumulated 20 points (8-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists and one steal across 37 minutes during Friday's 123-98 victory over Indiana.
ANALYSIS
Hart has done a good job as a starter in the Knicks' first two games, racking up a combined 32 points, 14 rebounds and six assists against two difficult opponents in Boston and Indiana. The losses of Mitchell Robinson (ankle) and Precious Achiuwa (hamstring) have propelled Hart to a starting role, and he should maintain that position for at least the next couple of weeks. The uptick in minutes certainly benefits his fantasy prospects across all formats, as he's showing to be a capable scorer in addition to his traits as an above-average rebounder for the forward position.
Oct 18, 2024
Expected to play Friday
Hart (rest) is expected to play and start in Friday's preseason finale against the Wizards, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was held out of Tuesday's game against the Hornets due to rest. It is unclear whether the 29-year-old will operate under a minutes restriction Friday, but if he does, the club will take an extended look at Chuma Okeke, T.J. Warren and Pacome Dadiet.
Oct 15, 2024
Resting Tuesday
Hart won't play in Tuesday's preseason game against the Hornets for rest purposes, Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart will join the rest of New York's starters on the sidelines. They are all expected to be back in action during Friday's preseason finale against the Wizards.
Oct 10, 2024
Fails to score in preseason win
Hart scored zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3PT) but added six rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block in 25 minutes during Wednesday's preseason victory over the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Hart remained in the starting lineup Wednesday, a move that was facilitated following the Julius Randle trade. Hart was a real difference-maker down the stretch last season, taking advantage of injuries to other players. Although he is slated to begin the season as a starter, managers should temper their expectations, especially on the offensive end. With that said, his ability to grab out-of-position rebounds and compile assists and defensive stats make him a viable target in the later rounds of drafts.
May 19, 2024
All-around showing in Game 7
Hart finished with 10 points (3-9 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and two steals over 37 minutes in Sunday's 130-109 loss to Indiana in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
ANALYSIS
Hart once again gave all he had for New York in a winner-take-all battle, putting forth an all-around showing that included reaching double figures in scoring, ending two rebounds shy of the double-digit mark and adding a handful of assists as well as a team-high-tying pair of steals. Despite dealing with some injuries throughout the series against Indiana, Hart recorded at least 10 points and eight rebounds in five of the seven games in the semifinals.
May 19, 2024
Active and starting
Hart (abdomen) is in the starting five for Sunday's Game 7 against the Pacers, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart will fight through an abdominal strain he sustained Friday and will be joined by OG Anunoby (hamstring) in the starting lineup for Game 7. While it remains to be seen if Hart will have any physical limitations due to the injury, it seems as though he's going to get as many minutes as he can handle. He's generated a double-double four times in the series.
May 19, 2024
Trending toward playing
Hart (abdomen) is on course to play in Sunday's Game 7 against the Pacers, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart sustained an abdominal strain during Game 6 on Friday, but he's on track to play in the deciding Game 7. Although the 28-year-old has been playing 40-plus minutes in close games throughout the playoffs, he may have his minutes monitored Sunday due to the injury. An official decision on Hart's availability will be made closer to tip-off.
May 18, 2024
Diagnosed with abdominal strain
Hart suffered an abdominal strain and is trying to play through the injury for Game 7 against Indiana on Sunday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart exited Friday's Game 6 early with abdominal soreness but further testing indicated that Hart's dealing with a strained abdomen. Although the 28-year-old is attempting to play through the injury, it's unlikely that he'd be at 100 percent even if he gets the green light considering the recency of the issue. He hasn't been given an official injury designation for Sunday's game.
May 17, 2024
Leaves game early
Hart left Friday's Game 6 early with abdominal soreness and wasn't able to return. He finished with five points, eight rebounds, three assists and one block in 31 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been powering through a variety of ailments in the playoffs, but the Knicks likely erred on the side of caution Friday due to the lopsided score. Presumably, Hart should be ready for Game 7 by Sunday, but there will be more clarity on Saturday when the Knicks practice.
May 14, 2024
Double-double in Game 5
Hart supplied 18 points (7-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 39 minutes in Tuesday's 121-91 win over Indiana in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
ANALYSIS
After being a non-factor in the Knicks' Game 4 loss Sunday, Hart bounced back to grab double-digit rebounds for the eighth time this postseason. Hart and Isaiah Hartenstein dominated the glass in Game 5, combing for 28 of the Knicks' 53 rebounds Tuesday. Hart is averaging 15.8 points on 45.9 percent shooting, 12.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.0 steals over 43.6 minutes per game this postseason.
May 11, 2024
Pulls down 18 boards in Game 3 loss
Hart posted 10 points (4-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 18 rebounds, four assists and two steals over 43 minutes during Friday's 111-106 loss to Indiana in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
ANALYSIS
Hart didn't do much on the offensive end of the court and barely reached double-digit figures, but as has been the case all year long, he made his presence felt on the glass. The 18 rebounds represented his best output in the current playoff run in that category, and it's worth noting he's grabbed double-digit boards in all but two of his nine playoff appearances. He's averaging 17.1 points and 13.3 rebounds per game in the current postseason run.
May 6, 2024
Nears triple-double in Game 1 win
Hart tallied 24 points (9-13 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 5-8 FT), 13 rebounds, eight assists, three steals and one block over 48 minutes in Monday's 121-117 win over Indiana in Game 1 of the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Hart did a little bit of everything for New York to boost the team to a Game 1 victory, leading all players in Monday's contest in rebounds and assists to go along with a team-high trio of steals and coming up two dimes shy of a triple-double. Hart has seen a heavy amount of playing time so far this postseason, resulting in tallying a double-double in four of his seven playoff contests. Hart, who posted his highest point total of the playoffs, has surpassed the 20-point mark on four occasions.
May 3, 2024
Strong double-double in win
Hart closed with 16 points (5-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 14 rebounds and seven assists over 46 minutes during Thursday's 118-115 win over the 76ers in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Hart finished just three assists away from recording a triple-double as the Knicks clinched a 4-2 series win over the 76ers, and the small forward played a prominent role on both ends of the court throughout the first round. Hart recorded three double-doubles in the series, but he also grabbed double-digit rebounds four times and scored 15-plus points in all but one of the six contests. Hart should have a tougher matchup in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, and it wouldn't be surprising if he ends up being matched up against Pascal Siakam on some stretches.
Apr 28, 2024
Owns glass despite shooting woes
Hart racked up four points (0-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-8 FT), 17 rebounds, five assists and three blocks in 46 minutes during Sunday's 97-92 victory over Philadelphia in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Hart dominated Game 4 on the glass, leading all players in the contest in rebounds to go along with a handful of assists despite not making a single shot from the field in a winning effort. Hart, who ended three boards shy of the 20-rebound mark, became the first player in NBA playoff history to have over 15 rebounds and five assists while not converting on a shot from the field. Hart has impressed on the glass this postseason, hauling in 13 or more boards in three straight outings.
Apr 23, 2024
Logs stellar 21/15 double-double
Hart provided 21 points (7-16 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 15 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals in 48 minutes during Monday's 104-101 victory over the 76ers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
ANALYSIS
Hart enjoyed another heroic stat line after posting a 22/13 double-double in Game 1. Jalen Brunson's shooting slump has rendered Hart as the most consistent producer for New York in the quarterfinals, and his 19 first-half points aided the Knicks in compiling a huge lead that was eventually erased.
Apr 21, 2024
Steps up late
Hart finished with 22 points (5-12 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists and one steal in 42 minutes during Saturday's 111-104 win over Philadelphia in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
ANALYSIS
Hart posted 13 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter, hitting back-to-back threes and securing a game-sealing offensive rebound to stifle Philadelphia's comeback in the final minutes. Hart doesn't have the most aesthetically pleasing offensive game, with his shot being a swing factor moving forward, but his relentless motor and huge workload fueled strong production Saturday. Hart played the entirety of the second half.
Apr 14, 2024
Double-doubles in OT win Sunday
Hart posted 12 points (6-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt), 10 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 40 minutes during Sunday's 120-119 overtime win over the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Hart finished the regular season posting double-doubles in three of his last four appearances. Even though he's not the most reliable scorer, and the majority of his eye-popping stats came on the rebounding column, Hart still scored in his last four regular-season contests, creating some kind of momentum toward New York's first-round playoff matchup against a yet-to-be-determined opponent. Hart also recorded 20 double-doubles on the season.
Apr 13, 2024
Efficient in win over Nets
Hart totaled 16 points (6-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and three steals across 40 minutes during Friday's 111-107 win over Brooklyn.
ANALYSIS
Hart couldn't extend his double-double streak to three games, but he still delivered solid numbers in the rebounding category while also showing an efficient touch on offense. Hart has settled into a regular in a New York lineup that remains without Julius Randle (shoulder), and the two-way forward should remain in the starting unit for the regular-season finale against the Bulls, as the Knicks have one final shot to claim the second seed in the East on Sunday with a win and a loss from the Bucks.
Apr 12, 2024
Records another double-double
Hart closed Thursday's 118-109 win over Boston with 16 points (7-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 16 rebounds, five assists and one steal over 32 minutes.
ANALYSIS
The absence of Julius Randle (shoulder) has allowed Hart to earn a bigger role in what he does best, which is rebounding, but he's also embraced a more prominent part in the offensive scheme. Hart has now recorded 15 or more points in three of his last five outings while grabbing double-digit boards in four of his last eight contests. He's averaged 11.3 points and 11.0 rebounds per game since the beginning of March.
Apr 10, 2024
Flirts with triple-double again
Hart notched 17 points (6-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 13 rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 46 minutes during Tuesday's 128-117 win over the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Hart cobbled together another impressive performance, logging 46 minutes in the win. A season-ending shoulder injury to Julius Randle has afforded Hart significant playing time over the past two months, allowing him to produce arguably the best basketball of his career. With no indication he will be rested down the stretch, Hart is a must-start player across all remaining formats.
Apr 5, 2024
Ejected against Bulls
Hart was ejected with 34 seconds left to play in the first quarter of Friday's game against the Bulls. He finished scoreless (0-2 FG) with one rebound and one assist in 11 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Hart's trailing leg made contact with Javonte Green's head, so he was issued a flagrant two foul. With Hart's night ending early, Miles McBride and Alec Burks could pick up more minutes.
Apr 5, 2024
Cleared to play Friday
Hart (wrist) will play Friday against the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Hart was carrying a probable tag along with Jalen Brunson (foot) for the second leg of this back-to-back set, but both players have the green light. Hart was excellent Thursday against the Kings, scoring 31 points (14-19 FG) with nine rebounds and eight assists in 43 minutes.
Apr 5, 2024
Expected to play Friday
Hart is probable for Friday's game against the Bulls due to a right wrist sprain.
ANALYSIS
After a two-point performance against Miami on Tuesday, Hart exploded for a season-high 31 points (14-19 FG) to go along with nine rebounds and eight assists in 43 minutes during Thursday's win over the Kings. He should continue to play through the minor wrist injury, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to score in the 30s regularly.
Apr 5, 2024
Comes close to triple-double
Hart recorded 31 points (14-19 FG, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 43 minutes during Thursday's 120-109 win over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been getting fantasy managers used to sniffing triple-doubles over the last few weeks, as he has reached that feat four times since the beginning of March. Even though he wasn't able to do it this time around, his efficiency certainly stood out, as he missed just five of his 19 attempts from the field. Hart has now posted 10 games with at least eight assists and 33 with nine or more boards, showing he's an elite all-around contributor despite playing as an undersized power forward.
Apr 4, 2024
Available for Thursday
Hart (wrist) is available for Thursday's game against the Kings, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was carrying a questionable tag prior to this update, as he's battling a sprained wrist on his shooting hand. Fantasy managers can activate him, but may need to temper expectations with his shooting performance.
Apr 3, 2024
Questionable for Thursday
Hart is questionable for Thursday's game against the Kings due to a sprained right wrist.
ANALYSIS
Hart is dealing with a sprained wrist on his shooting hand and with Thursday's game coming as the first of a back-to-back, there's certainly a chance he'll hit the sidelines. If Hart can't give it a go, that would open up minutes for Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks.
Mar 30, 2024
Posts usual well-rounded stat line
Hart supplied 12 points (4-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds, eight assists and one steal in 42 minutes during Friday's 130-126 overtime loss to San Antonio.
ANALYSIS
Hart's 12 points were good for third-most on the Knicks on Friday in a game during which Jalen Brunson went off for a career-high 61 points. Hart also tied for the team lead with 12 boards and paced New York with eight dimes in the type of well-rounded effort his fantasy managers have grown accustomed to. Though he's reached double-digit points in just four of his past 10 games, Hart has recorded double-digit rebounds and/or dimes nine times during that span. Over the 10-game stretch, he's averaging 9.3 points, 11.7 boards, 6.2 assists and 1.2 steals over 40.7 minutes per contest.
Mar 26, 2024
Delivers another triple-double
Hart closed with 11 points (4-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 14 rebounds, 10 assists and one steal in 40 minutes during Monday's 124-99 win over Detroit.
ANALYSIS
Hart has taken on a more significant role in the playmaking department, allowing Jalen Brunson and Donte DiVincenzo to focus more on scoring, resulting in Hart posting excellent numbers in the assists department. Hart recorded his sixth triple-double of the season Monday, four of which have come since the beginning of March.
Mar 19, 2024
Racks up triple-double in victory
Hart finished Monday's 119-112 win over the Warriors with 10 points (5-18 FG, 0-6 3Pt), 11 rebounds, 11 assists and one steal in 48 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Although Hart struggled with his shot Monday evening, his secondary contributions were excellent, resulting in his fifth triple-double of the season. Julius Randle's (shoulder) absence has done wonders for Hart's bottom line. The 6-4 wing man is averaging 12.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.2 steals over 22 games as a starter.
Mar 13, 2024
Triple-double in Tuesday's win
Hart finished Tuesday's 106-79 victory over Philadelphia with 20 points (8-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 19 rebounds, 10 assists, one block and one steal in 39 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Even with OG Anunoby (elbow) returning to the lineup Tuesday, Hart held onto his starting role and delivered his fourth triple-double of the season, all of which have come since Jan. 30. Over 10 games since the All-Star break, Hart is averaging 16.1 points, 12.0 boards, 5.9 assists, 2.2 threes and 1.2 steals while playing an incredible 42.7 minutes a contest, and it doesn't look like coach Tim Thibodeau has any immediate plans to lessen his workload.
Mar 9, 2024
Hits for 19 in Friday's win
Hart produced 19 points (8-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt), seven rebounds and four assists over 42 minutes during Friday's 98-74 win over Orlando.
ANALYSIS
The 29-year-old forward continues to shine for the Knicks. Hart has scored in double digits in eight straight games and drained multiple three-pointers in seven of them, averaging 16.5 points, 11.3 boards, 5.9 assists, 2.5 threes, 1.1 steals and 0.8 blocks over that stretch. OG Anunoby (elbow) appears close to returning to the lineup, which will likely impact Hart's usage, but it's hard to imagine the team removing him from the starting five given his current form.
Mar 4, 2024
Triple-doubles with 19 rebounds
Hart posted 13 points (5-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt), 19 rebounds, 10 assists, two blocks and two steals over 45 minutes during Sunday's 107-98 victory over the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Hart is known as one of the best rebounders in the league despite his size, but what he did Sunday against Cleveland was simply astonishing, as he grabbed a whopping 19 rebounds en route to his third triple-double of the season. That tally is even more impressive when considering the Cavaliers routinely employ one of the biggest frontcourts in the league with Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley. Hart was impressive in this game and seems to have adjusted well to a starting role following the injury of OG Anunoby (elbow). He's been averaging 13.4 points, 10.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game since the beginning of February.
Mar 1, 2024
Dominates glass in Thursday's loss
Hart notched 14 points (4-17 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 18 rebounds, seven assists and two steals across 47 minutes during Thursday's 110-99 loss to the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
The 18 boards were a season high for Hart, but the 28-year-old forward has come up big on the glass for the Knicks ever since moving into the starting five in late January. Over the last 14 games, Hart has ripped down double-digit rebounds 11 times, averaging 12.8 points, 10.4 boards, 5.6 assists, 1.4 threes and 1.1 steals over that stretch. OG Anunoby is making progress in his recovery from elbow surgery, but Hart figures to remain in the starting lineup for at least a couple more weeks.
Feb 26, 2024
Escapes with game-winner
Hart ended Monday's 113-111 win over the Pistons with 23 points (8-17 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-7 FT), eight rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals across 42 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Hart scored a game-winning, and-1 bucket off a crazy scramble for the ball, which featured a loose-ball foul on Donte DiVincenzo that was ultimately not called by the officiating crew. Regardless of the end-of-game conflict, Hart posted his second-highest shot total of the season en route to a versatile, booming performance. Incredibly, he has now logged at least 42 minutes of action in three consecutive games.
Feb 25, 2024
Strong contributions Saturday
Hart ended with 16 points (6-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds and six assists across 42 minutes during Saturday's 116-102 loss to the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Hart finished just two rebounds shy of posting a double-double, and he continues to make an impact in a starting role while OG Anunoby (elbow) remains sidelined. Even though Hart is known for his energy on the glass and ability to rack up peripheral stats, he can get the job done on the offensive end as well. Over his last 11 starts, he's averaging 11.5 points, 9.9 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game.
Feb 13, 2024
Timely shooting in tough loss
Hart logged 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt), 11 rebounds, five assists and two steals over 42 minutes during Monday's 105-103 loss to Houston.
ANALYSIS
Hart has hit at least three triples in two of his past three games, marking a spike after connecting on just 23.8 percent of 2.7 three-point attempts across 23 prior contests. The jumper is volatile, but Hart is a good transition scorer and he continues to profile as an elite rebounding forward, with only Jalen Johnson posting a higher defensive rebounding rate this season.
Feb 8, 2024
Notches second career triple-double
Hart closed Thursday's 122-108 loss to the Mavericks with 23 points (8-22 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, 12 assists and one steal in 39 minutes.
ANALYSIS
After registering his first career triple-double Jan. 30 against the Jazz, Hart got his second just nine days later in a game when the Knicks were without All-Stars Jalen Brunson (ankle) and Julius Randle (shoulder). Hart continues to be one of the best rebounding guards in the league and has registered 10-plus boards in six straight games.
Feb 7, 2024
Left off injury report
Hart (knee) isn't on the injury report for Thursday's game versus the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Hart appears to not have suffered a significant injury despite having his knee evaluated by the medical team after Tuesday's win over Memphis. Hart is averaging 9.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists in 39.8 minutes across his last five appearances since being inserted into the starting lineup.
Feb 7, 2024
Getting checked for knee injury
Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau said after Tuesday's 123-113 win over the Grizzlies that Hart is being evaluated by the medical team for an apparent right knee injury, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Thibodeau said he didn't know the nature of Hart's injury, but the forward was spotted holding his knee at various points during the fourth quarter of Tuesday's contest. Even with the Knicks leading by as much as 26 points at one point in the fourth quarter, Hart was still able to finish out the contest, which offers hope that his knee issue isn't anything too severe. Hart posted 10 points (3-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds and four assists over 37 minutes.
Jan 31, 2024
Records triple-double Tuesday
Hart closed Tuesday's 118-103 victory over the Jazz with 10 points (4-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, 10 assists, two blocks and two steals in 43 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Hart didn't have his best shooting performance Tuesday, but he compensated for the lack of efficiency with an impressive two-way effort. Aside from registering a triple-double, this was the ninth game Hart pulled down double-digit rebounds this season. He should remain in the starting lineup with Julius Randle (shoulder) sidelined, and that will translate into a sizable uptick in numbers compared to when he plays off the bench.
Jan 30, 2024
Grabs 12 boards in win
Hart notched eight points (3-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds and seven assists in 39 minutes during Monday's 113-92 win over the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Hart logged 39 minutes in the win, a great sign for anyone who picked him up following the Julius Randle (shoulder) injury. He led the team with 12 rebounds, something that could certainly be a trend moving forward. While he won't be a consistent source of points, his ability to contribute across multiple categories should make him a must-roster player for the foreseeable future.
Jan 29, 2024
Moves into starting lineup
Hart will start Monday's game against the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
With Julius Randle (shoulder) and OG Anunoby (elbow) out, Hart and Precious Achiuwa will join Jalen Brunson, Donte DiVincenzo and Isaiah Hartenstein in the starting lineup. Across his prior six starts, Hart has averaged 10.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.5 steals-plus-blocks in 35.2 minutes per game. Given Randle is expected to miss a few weeks, Hart could solidify his spot in the starting lineup for an extended period with a solid performance versus Charlotte.
Jan 28, 2024
All-around showing off bench
Hart amassed 14 points (5-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds and five assists across 32 minutes during Saturday's 125-109 win over the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Hart led all Knicks bench players in scoring and assists while ending one rebound shy of the double-digit mark in a well-rounded performance. Hart has scored 14 or more points in five games this season, recording at least five rebounds and five assists in seven contests.
Jan 20, 2024
Available to play
Hart (knee) is available to play in Saturday's game against the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Hart was initially carrying a questionable tag, but he made it through warmups without any setbacks. He's been struggling a bit in January, averaging 6.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 0.7 three-pointers on 38.3 percent shooting from the field.
Jan 20, 2024
Poised to suit up
Hart (knee) is on track to play Saturday against the Raptors barring a setback in pregame warmups, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart is battling left knee soreness, but coach Tom Thibodeau expressed that his current trajectory is to suit up Saturday. If Hart is ultimately unable to play, Donte DiVincenzo would likely reprise a large role while Quentin Grimes would see an uptick in usage.
Jan 19, 2024
Iffy against Toronto
Hart (knee) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Hart is in danger of missing his second straight game Saturday due to left knee soreness. If Hart is ruled out, Donte DiVincenzo and OG Anunoby will likely continue to see increased minutes.
Jan 18, 2024
Won't play Thursday
Hart (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against Washington, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was questionable for Thursday's matchup, and he'll be forced to miss his first game of the season. He's considered day-to-day for now, but it's unclear whether he'll be able to return Saturday against Toronto. OG Anunoby, Donte DiVincenzo and Quentin Grimes could see additional minutes Thursday.
Jan 18, 2024
Questionable for Thursday
Hart (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game versus the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Hart has yet to miss a game this season despite dealing with a nagging knee injury. Hart was also listed as questionable to play Wednesday before logging 30 minutes and recording his seventh double-double of the campaign.
Jan 17, 2024
Leads New York in rebounding
Hart tallied 10 points (5-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt), 14 rebounds and one assist over 30 minutes in Wednesday's 109-94 win over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Hart was listed as questionable for Wednesday's game due to left knee pain, but that didn't stop him from leading the team in boards. Despite his 6-foot-4 frame, he has registered double-digit rebounds in seven games this season. Hart's role has diminished since the Knicks acquired OG Anunoby from the Raptors, but the former is still a solid bench contributor for a team that is battling for a top-four spot in the Eastern Conference.
Jan 17, 2024
Good to go Wednesday
Hart (knee) is available for Wednesday's game against Houston, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was initially listed as questionable with left knee pain, but he'll give it a go Wednesday. With Jalen Brunson (calf) also active, the Knicks will be at full health. Hart has scored in double figures just once in his last eight appearances, but he's averaging 7.4 rebounds during that stretch.
Jan 17, 2024
Intends to play Wednesday
Hart (knee) is warming up with the intention of playing Wednesday against Houston, Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart is listed as questionable, but he appears to be trending more toward probable at the moment. Despite playing a consistent role, Hart has struggled to score on a nightly basis, averaging just 6.1 points on 37.9 percent shooting in 29.2 minutes across his last 11 appearances (one start).
Jan 16, 2024
Iffy against Houston
Hart is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Rockets due to left patellar tendinopathy.
ANALYSIS
Hart has yet to miss a game all season, but the Knicks could play it cautiously on the first leg of their back-to-back Wednesday. If Hart is ruled out, Quentin Grimes and Miles McBride could receive extended minutes.
Jan 16, 2024
Struggling to find role
Hart finished Monday's 98-94 loss to the Magic with four points (2-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt), six rebounds and one assist across 24 minutes.
ANALYSIS
If there was a loser in the trade between the Knicks and Raptors that sent OG Anunoby to New York, it's been Hart. The 28-year-old forward has come off the bench in all eight games so far in January and done little, averaging 6.0 points, 7.4 boards, 2.8 assists and 0.8 threes in 27.3 minutes a contest while shooting a woeful 36.7 percent from the floor. Anunoby has a similar skill set to Hart but offers more length and defensive versatility, which doesn't leave a clear role for the latter in the rotation. Hart just signed a four-year, $81 million contract extension in August that doesn't kick in until 2024-25, but it wouldn't be a shock if he were moved when he becomes eligible to be traded in February.
Jan 1, 2024
Back to bench
Hart won't start Monday's game against Minnesota, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
After a blockbuster trade Saturday, the Knicks had only nine players available versus the Pacers, so Hart drew a spot start. However, O.G. Anunoby is ready to make his Knicks debut Monday, so he'll slide into the starting lineup, sending Hart to the bench. As a reserve this season, Hart has averaged 6.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 0.9 steals in 26.8 minutes per game.
Dec 30, 2023
Enters starting lineup
Hart is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
The Knicks have nine available players for Saturday, as they made a big trade for O.G. Anunoby that sent Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett to Toronto. Hart's inclusion in the starting lineup is likely to be temporary until Anunoby arrives to New York, but he's going to have to play a ton of minutes Saturday.
Dec 21, 2023
Double-doubles off bench
Hart provided 10 points (2-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists and one steal in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 121-102 win over the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Hart's season-high 13 rebounds helped him record his first double-double of the season Wednesday despite coming off the bench. Hart continues to be one of New York's most valuable bench option, averaging 7.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 26.6 minutes across his last 10 appearances.
Dec 20, 2023
Available for Wednesday
Hart (knee) is officially available for Wednesday's game against the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Hart was a late addition to the injury report due to left knee inflammation but he will be able to play through it. Hart is in the midst of a rough stretch of games, averaging 3.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 22.0 minutes per game over his last four contests.
Dec 20, 2023
Now questionable for Wednesday
Hart is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Nets due to left knee inflammation.
ANALYSIS
Hart was a late addition to the injury report and is now in danger of missing his first game of the season Wednesday. If he's ruled out, Quentin Grimes and Miles McBride are candidates to receive increased minutes.
Dec 16, 2023
Ejected against Clippers
Hart was ejected from Saturday's game against the Clippers with double technical fouls. He finished scoreless with one rebound, one assist, one steal and one block in eight minutes.
ANALYSIS
Hart was arguing with the officials and was quickly tossed with back-to-back technicals. He came into Saturday's game with a probable tag due to some knee soreness, so the extra rest could do him some good.
Dec 16, 2023
Good to go
Hart (knee) is good to go for Saturday versus the Clippers, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart is dealing with some knee soreness and is not 100 percent according to coach Tom Thibodeau, but he'll give it a go anyways. It's possible that the Knicks watch his minutes a little closer than usual Saturday.
Dec 16, 2023
Likely to play Saturday
Hart is listed as probable for Saturday's game versus the Clippers due to right knee inflammation.
ANALYSIS
Hart has yet to miss a game this season and isn't expected to do so Saturday despite dealing with a knee injury. The 28-year-old forward is averaging 7.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 28.4 minutes across his previous five appearances.
Dec 11, 2023
Vintage performance Monday
Hart ended with 16 points (6-8 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, eight assists and one steal over 31 minutes during Monday's 136-130 win over Toronto.
ANALYSIS
Hart was fantastic off the bench Monday, flirting with his first triple-double of the season. After a rocky start to the season, Hart has been able to creep back into the standard league discussion over the past two weeks. If you are looking for out-of-position rebounds, with a sprinkling of assists and threes, Hart is certainly worth considering.
Nov 29, 2023
Improved performance Tuesday
Hart ended with 17 points (7-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 30 minutes during Tuesday's 115-91 victory over Charlotte.
ANALYSIS
Hart had one of his better games of the season Tuesday, looking more like the player we expected to see coming into the season. He has scored double-digits only five times, averaging 7.7 points per game to go with 6.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 0.9 steals. While this is a taste of what he can do, managers should not overreact to one performance. Should he be able to string a few good games together, he could be worth grabbing as an out-of-position specialist.
Nov 18, 2023
Moves to bench Saturday
Hart is on the bench for Saturday's game against the Hornets, Sam Perley of the Hornets' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been bouncing in and out of the starting lineup of late, and he moves back to the bench after three consecutive contests as a starter. Hart is averaging 5.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game off the bench in 2023-24.
Nov 14, 2023
Nears double-double in start
Hart totaled 16 points (6-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and one steal in 43 minutes during Monday's 114-98 loss to Boston.
ANALYSIS
Hart got the starting nod due to RJ Barrett (migraine) being inactive, finishing with a team-high-tying rebound total and ending one board short of a double-double. Hart tallied his highest scoring mark of the season, now scoring in double figures in two contests. Hart has also hauled in nine or more boards in three of his first 10 outings.
Nov 13, 2023
Gets chance with first unit
Hart is starting Monday's game against the Celtics, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart will take the place of RJ Barrett, who has been ruled out Monday due to a migraine. Hart started a pair of contests to begin the month, putting up 11 and six points while crashing the boards for a combined 18 boards over this brief stretch. He'll have a solid chance to reach 30 minutes of action in Boston.
Nov 6, 2023
Returns to bench role
Hart isn't starting Monday's game against the Clippers, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart drew a spot start Wednesday due to the absence of RJ Barrett, but he'll retreat to a reserve role with Barrett back in action Monday evening. Hart is averaging 4.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 23.3 minutes off the bench so far this season (four games).
Nov 1, 2023
Scores 11 in spot start
Hart registered 11 points (5-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt), eight rebounds and three assists across 29 minutes in Wednesday's 95-89 loss to the Cavs.
ANALYSIS
Hart got the spot with RJ Barrett (knee) ruled out for Wednesday's contest. It wasn't the most efficient of scoring efforts, but Hart did manage to shoot higher than the 34.8 percent mark by the Knicks as a whole. He was outscored by Donte DiVincenzo (16 points) and Immanuel Quickley (18 points), both of whom came off the bench.
Nov 1, 2023
Gets starting nod
Hart is in the starting five for Wednesday's game versus the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Hart will replace RJ Barrett (knee) in the starting lineup Wednesday. Hart made just one start for the Knicks last season across his 25 appearances.
Oct 30, 2023
Double-digit boards in loss
Hart ended Saturday's 96-87 loss to the Pelicans with three points (1-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt), 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal in 21 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Hart struggled from the field Saturday but salvaged his fantasy production with a season-high 10 boards. The veteran is a key piece of New York's rotation and can help the Knicks win in multiple ways, but that doesn't always translate to a solid fantasy impact. Through three games, Hart has averaged 4.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 0.7 steals in 21.7 minutes per game.
Oct 19, 2023
Well-rounded contributor off bench
Hart logged eight points (2-3 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal in 19 minutes during Wednesday's 131-106 preseason loss to Washington.
ANALYSIS
Hart rested during Tuesday's exhibition game against the Celtics but returned to action for the second half of the back-to-back set. He should be available for the Knicks' regular-season opener against Boston on Oct. 25.
Oct 17, 2023
Resting against Boston
Hart is out for Tuesday's game versus the Celtics while resting, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart will sit out the first leg of New York's back-to-back Tuesday. His next chance to suit up is Wednesday's preseason matchup with Washington.
Oct 14, 2023
Will play Saturday
Hart (rest) is available to play Saturday against the Timberwolves, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been dealing with general soreness after missing the Knicks' preseason opener against the Celtics on Monday, but head coach Tom Thibodeau will give him a go. If healthy, Hart should be a starter once the 2023-24 regular season starts. In 25 appearances (one start) for the Knicks last season after coming over in a trade from Portland, Hart averaged 10.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.4 steals in 30.0 minutes per game.
Oct 13, 2023
Status remains unclear
Coach Tom Thibodeau said Friday that he's not sure about Hart's (rest) status for Saturday's preseason game against the Timberwolves, Stefan Bondy of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart continues to deal with general soreness after missing the Knicks' preseason opener against the Celtics on Monday. Following Saturday's matchup, New York has just two exhibitions left before they open the regular season against Boston on Oct. 25.
Oct 9, 2023
Resting Monday
Hart has been ruled out for Monday's preseason game against Boston for rest purposes, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart isn't dealing with an injury but will sit out the Knicks' preseason opener for maintenance issues. His next opportunity to make his preseason debut will be Saturday against Minnesota.
Aug 9, 2023
Finalizing four-year extension
Hart and the Knicks are finalizing a four-year, $81 million extension Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The deal isn't completed yet, and Wojnarowski relays that the two sides are still working through the final details. However, it appears the framework of the extension will give Hart a significant raise while keeping him tied to New York through the 2027-28 campaign. In 25 appearances (one start) for the Knicks last year, Hart averaged 10.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.4 steals in 30.0 minutes per game, but the Villanova product's impact often goes far beyond the box score.
Jun 29, 2023
Returning to New York
Hart opted into his $12.9 million player option to return to the Knicks for 2023-24, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart averaged 9.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 1.2 steals in 32.3 minutes across 76 appearances for the Knicks in 2022-23. Hart also started in 52 games and it wouldn't be surprising for New York to look to extend him on a long-term deal.
May 8, 2023
Shifts to bench
Hart won't start Monday's Game 4 versus Miami.
ANALYSIS
Hart had started five straight postseason games, posting 12.4 points, 10.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 40.0 minutes, but he'll move back to a bench role Monday in favor of Quentin Grimes. However, Hart should still see a significant role off the bench, as Immanuel Quickley's (ankle) absence should open up plenty of minutes on the second unit.
May 6, 2023
Solid double-double
Hart finished with 15 points (5-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists and one steal over 38 minutes during Saturday's 105-86 loss to the Heat in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
ANALYSIS
Hart is not expected to be a driving force on offense for the Knicks, but the versatile forward always finds a way to contribute, and Saturday's game wasn't an exception. Hart has started in each of the Knicks' last five games and doesn't figure to lose his role after scoring in double digits four times -- and grabbing at least 10 boards thrice -- in that span.
May 2, 2023
Flirts with triple-double in win
Hart ended Tuesday's 111-105 victory over Miami in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals with 14 points (4-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-7 FT), 11 rebounds, nine assists and one steal in 32 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Hart posted a team-high assist total while finishing one dime shy of a triple-double in an all-around performance in Tuesday's Game 2 victory over Miami. Hart has posted a double-double in two playoff games this year, dishing out his highest assist total of the postseason thus far.
May 1, 2023
Logs 43 minutes in loss
Hart had 10 points (5-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt), eight rebounds, four assists and one block across 43 minutes during Sunday's 108-101 loss to the Heat in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
ANALYSIS
Hart played the majority of the game Sunday, as the Knicks went with a very shallow rotation. While the playing time was significant, Hart was unable to produce at the same level. While tangible numbers are certainly not his calling card, he is going to need to do more on both ends of the floor, especially if Julius Randle (ankle) is forced to miss more time.
Apr 23, 2023
Nears 20 points in starting lineup
Hart produced 19 points (7-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and two steals over 40 minutes during Sunday's 102-93 win over Cleveland in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
ANALYSIS
Hart got a start with Quentin Grimes (shoulder) out in Game 4, finishing as one of three Knicks players with 15 or more points while finishing three boards shy of a double-double. Hart has hauled in 10 or more points with at least five rebounds in three of four postseason games.
Apr 23, 2023
Will start Sunday
Hart will start Sunday's Game 4 against the Cavaliers, Evan Dammarell of FearTheSword.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart will slide into the starting lineup with Quentin Grimes (shoulder) out. The Villanova product has been solid off the bench through the first three matchups of the opening-round series, posting 11.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.0 assists in 29.7 minutes per game.
Apr 22, 2023
Excellent off bench Friday
Hart accumulated 13 points (4-5 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, one assist and two steals across 29 minutes during Friday's 99-79 victory over Cleveland in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
ANALYSIS
Hart always brings energy on the glass and activity on defense when he comes off the bench. However, he was also highly efficient with his shot Friday and posted double-digit scoring figures for the second time in the series, as he also recorded 17 points and 10 boards in Game 1. He's averaging 11.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game off the bench in the playoffs so far.
Apr 18, 2023
Will play in Game 2
Hart (ankle) will be active for Tuesday's Game 2 versus the Cavaliers, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was considered expected to play, but head coach Tom Thibodeau also suggested he may be a game-time call. Ultimately, Hart will be available off the bench and will aim for a second straight double-double against the Cavs after posting 17 points and 10 boards over 33 minutes in Game 1.
Apr 18, 2023
Expected to play
Hart, who's officially listed as questionable with a left ankle sprain, is expected to play in Tuesday's Game 2 versus the Cavaliers, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was upgraded to questionable Tuesday morning after initially being listed as doubtful, and it now appears he's going to play Tuesday after spraining his left ankle Sunday. However, fantasy managers are still encouraged to confirm his availability ahead of the 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff. Hart was fantastic off the bench in Game 1, posting 17 points (8-11 FG) and 10 rebounds in 33 minutes.
Apr 18, 2023
Receives upgrade to questionable
Hart has been upgraded from doubtful to questionable for Game 2 versus the Cavaliers on Tuesday, Danny Cunningham of ESPN Cleveland reports.
ANALYSIS
While Hart initially looked to be heading toward a DNP, his upgrade seemingly has him trending in the right direction as the 7:30 p.m. ET opening tipoff approaches. If cleared, Hart should play a key bench role for the Knicks and will aim to follow up a double-double in Game 1 with another strong performance Tuesday.
Apr 17, 2023
Listed as doubtful
Hart (ankle) is doubtful for Tuesday's Game 2 against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Hart was limited during Monday's practice with a left ankle sprain, and it appears he'll likely be sidelined for at least one game. This is a huge blow to the Knicks' depth, as the Villanova product posted 17 points (8-11 FG) and 10 rebounds in 33 minutes during New York's Game 1 win. If Hart is ruled out, Immanuel Quickley and Obi Toppin would be candidates for increased minutes, but Miles McBride, who didn't play at all Saturday, could also work his way into the postseason rotation.
Apr 17, 2023
Limited with sprained ankle
Head coach Tom Thibodeau said Hart was limited during Monday's practice due to a sprained left ankle, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was outstanding off the bench during Game 1, totaling 17 points (8-11 FG) and 10 rebounds, so this is certainly a disappointing development for the Knicks. The Villanova product's status for Tuesday's Game 2 remains to be determined, but New York has to release an official injury report at some point Monday, which should provide further clarity on the severity of Hart's ankle issue.
Apr 15, 2023
Strong production off bench
Hart ended with 17 points (8-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt), 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal across 33 minutes during Saturday's 101-97 victory over the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
ANALYSIS
Hart was extremely efficient from the field and finished third on the team in scoring behind Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle. The backup wing also tied Randle with a team-high 10 boards and notched a double-double in his first playoff game. Hart played 33 minutes, which was second most on the team behind Randle's 34, so he figures to remain a key piece of the Knicks' rotation despite coming off the bench.
Apr 7, 2023
Coming off bench
Hart will play a reserve role in Friday's game against the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
With RJ Barrett returning, the Knicks will opt to bring Hart off the bench and keep Immanuel Quickley in the starting unit. Still, the veteran wing figures to see something close to his usual workload.
Apr 6, 2023
Posts crooked rebound, steal totals
Hart tallied six points (2-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, seven assists, four steals and one block across 37 minutes in Wednesday's 138-129 win over the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
With RJ Barrett (illness) and Jalen Brunson (hand) both joining Julius Randle (ankle) on the sideline, Hart received his first chance to start since joining the Knicks at the trade deadline. Despite the appointment to the top unit and the heftier minutes that came with it, Hart still took on a minuscule 8.9 usage rate, but he was an average-to-elite contributor in four categories (steals, rebounds, assists and blocks). With the Knicks locked in as the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference, it's possible Barrett or Brunson could remain out Friday versus the Pelicans and Sunday against the Pacers or have their playing time monitored in either or both contests, potentially setting Hart up to fill major minutes on two more occasions.
Apr 5, 2023
Will start Wednesday
Hart will start Wednesday's game against the Pacers, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart will draw his first start as a member of the Knicks with Jalen Brunson (hand) sidelined. Since the start of March (16 games), Hart has averaged 9.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.4 steals in 31.0 minutes per game.
Mar 30, 2023
Solid production off bench
Hart provided 13 points (6-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt), eight rebounds, three assists and two steals across 29 minutes during Wednesday's 101-92 win over Miami.
ANALYSIS
Hart scored eight of his 13 points in the fourth quarter on 4-of-5 shooting from the field while adding four rebounds as the Knicks took care of Miami at home. His only other points - and most of his other production overall, came in the second quarter where he went 2-of-2 from the floor and grabbed three boards, two assists and two steals. The shooting guard has missed just one field-goal attempt over his last two games and has grabbed at least five rebounds in all but two games this month.

Makes mark in every category
Hart finished Wednesday's 127-120 loss to the Heat with 12 points (3-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in 30 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Hart made a mark in all seven of the major counting categories Wednesday, doing so while shooting efficiently on his limited volume of shot attempts from the field and free-throw line. The sixth-year wing is expected to remain a tertiary option on the offensive end whenever he's on the court, but because he's settled into a consistent 30-plus-minute role in head coach Tom Thibodeau's rotation, Hart should produce well enough across the board to warrant a spot on some manager's roster in 12-team category leagues.
Mar 15, 2023
Nudges triple-double Tuesday
Hart closed Tuesday's 123-107 win over the Trail Blazers with 16 points (6-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, eight assists and three steals over 37 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Hart was prolific on both ends of the floor, falling just short of his first career triple-double. This serves as a reminder of what Hart can do when he is on, something that unfortunately doesn't happen every night. With that said, he has been a terrific fit since joining the Knicks, so his role is going to be relatively secure ROS. While this should be viewed as an outlier, he typically does enough to hold down a spot on most 12-team rosters.
Mar 10, 2023
Pulls down 15 rebounds Thursday
Hart accumulated nine points (3-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 15 rebounds, seven assists and three steals in 32 minutes during Thursday's 122-117 loss to the Kings.
ANALYSIS
As usual, Hart didn't make much noise on the offensive end, taking just four shots and finishing with nine points. However, he made an impact in a variety of other ways, leading New York with 15 boards, seven assists and three steals while coming off the bench. Hart's lack of consistent scoring holds back his fantasy value, but he's still worth rostering in most formats for his contributions in rebounds, assists and thefts with a healthy shooting percentage.
Feb 28, 2023
All-around performance in win
Hart accumulated 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt), five rebounds, five assists and two steals over 27 minutes during Monday's 109-94 victory over the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Hart continues to play a solid bench role for his new team and is posting 13.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.5 blocks in 26.3 minutes over his first five games with New York. During that stretch, he's shooting 61.2 percent from the field and 63.2 percent from beyond the arc, so some regression in the scoring column could be on tap. Either way, Hart still figures to play around 25-30 minutes off the bench on a nightly basis, and the Knicks are 6-0 since his arrival.
Feb 14, 2023
Goes off for 27 points
Hart had 27 points (10-14 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal across 28 minutes during Monday's 124-106 win over the Nets.
ANALYSIS
His 27 points mark a new season-high and it's the seventh time in his career that he reached 27 points. Hart has played an average of 27.0 minutes in his first two games with New York, but that number could go up if tonight was any indication. It's also worth mentioning that RJ Barrett played just 24 minutes and went to the locker room for undisclosed reasons in the fourth quarter.
Feb 12, 2023
Strong showing in team debut
Hart posted 11 points (3-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and four steals across 26 minutes in Saturday's 126-120 win over the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Though he came off the bench for the first time all season in his Knicks debut after making his previous 51 appearances with Portland as a starter, Hart still saw significant playing time and made a compelling case to see his role grow when New York returns to action Monday against Brooklyn. Hart is unlikely to see a dramatic spike or downturn in usage with the move to New York, but so long as he continues to see sizable minutes, he should remain a neutral-to-plus source of rebounds, assists, steals and field-goal percentage, as was the case Saturday.
Feb 11, 2023
Officially active Saturday
Hart (recently traded) is officially active and is expected to make his debut in New York during Saturday's matchup with the Jazz, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York
ANALYSIS
Hart has not had much time to get affiliated with his new teammates, but he will be able to begin that process in Saturday's game. It remains to be seen what type of workload he will settle in to, but it would not be surprising if the team ultimately eased him into the swing of things.
Feb 11, 2023
Likely to debut Saturday
Hart (recently traded) is expected to make his Knicks debut Saturday versus the Jazz, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was among the myriad of players moved ahead of Thursday's trade deadline, and it appears his trade is slated to be official, allowing him to appear in a New York uniform for the first time Saturday. While he started all 51 of his appearances with Portland, Hart may have to settle for a bench role with the Knicks, albeit a role that likely comes with sizable minutes in what has been a thin rotation.
Feb 10, 2023
Won't debut Friday
Hart (recently traded) won't be available for Friday's game versus the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Hart should see sizable run in the Knicks' rotation when he's ready to make his debut, but it appears he's not taken all of the necessary steps yet to be ready for Friday's contests. He won't have to wait long for his next opportunity to suit up, which arrives just a day later Saturday against Utah.
Feb 8, 2023
Traded to New York
Hart is being traded to the Knicks in exchange for Cam Reddish and a protected future first-round pick, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was listed in Portland's starting lineup for Wednesday's game, but shortly before tip-off he said goodbye to his teammates and headed back to the locker room. Gary Payton II will draw the start in his place on Wednesday, but once the trade is finalized, Reddish could compete for a slot in Portland's starting lineup. Hart's arrival in New York likely means that Quentin Grimes will be displaced from the first unit.
Feb 3, 2023
Leads team in rebounds
Hart supplied 21 points (9-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and one steal in 39 minutes during Friday's 124-116 win over the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Hart had a tough outing Wednesday, playing 32 scoreless minutes with just two rebounds and two assists. He bounced back Friday against Washington with his first twenty-point game of the 2022-2023 season. He narrowly missed a double-double but still paced the Trail Blazers with nine boards. As Portlands second leading rebounder behind Jusuf Nurkic, he will have to step up on the glass while the big man is out through the all-star break.
Feb 2, 2023
Struggles despite victory
Hart recorded zero points (0-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 122-112 victory over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Hart failed to score for the second time in his last three appearances. While the 27-year-old forward is averaging just 9.1 points this season, his 8.1 rebounds per game still allow him to be a solid fantasy contributor.
Feb 1, 2023
Good to go Wednesday
Hart (hamstring) will be available for Wednesday's clash with the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Hart was deemed probable for Wednesday's contest despite right hamstring tightness and has officially received the green light to take the floor. Hart is coming off a near double-double in which he tallied nine points and 12 boards against the Hawks on Monday. Hart's nightly production is sporadic, but he has enough outbursts to warrant a spot on fantasy rosters in most formats.
Jan 31, 2023
Likely to play Wednesday
Hart is probable for Wednesday's game versus Memphis due to right hamstring tightness.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been dealing with a nagging hamstring injury but is expected to play Wednesday. The 27-year-old forward has started in all 47 of his appearances this season.
Jan 31, 2023
Pulls down 12 boards in return
Hart (hamstring) finished with nine points (4-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists and one block across 35 minutes in Monday's 129-125 win over the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Hart reclaimed his starting role and his usual allotment of minutes Monday after missing the Trail Blazers' previous game Saturday against the Raptors due to the hamstring injury. While Hart looks as though he'll be good to go moving forward, his contributions on the offensive end are likely to be lacking while all of Damian Lillard, Anfernee Simons, Jerami Grant and Jusuf Nurkic are healthy and serving as higher-priority options. Hart should at least remain a strong contributor in the rebounds category, even if his production is lacking in other areas.
Jan 30, 2023
Good to go
Hart (hamstring) has been cleared to play Monday against Atlanta, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was held out of Saturday's matchup against the Raptors due to a hamstring injury, but he'll be back in action for Monday's matchup. He's averaging 7.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 13 January appearances.
Jan 29, 2023
Questionable to begin week
Hart (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Hawks, Trail Blazers reporter Sean Highkin reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart did not play Saturday against the Raptors, but coach Chauncey Billups said the wing was able to participate in parts of practice Sunday. Expect the Blazers to wait until closer to Monday night's contest to issue a definitive update on Hart's status.
Jan 28, 2023
Ruled out Saturday
Hart (hamstring) will not play in Saturday's game against Toronto, Danny Marang of 1080 The Fan Portland reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart exited Wednesday's game in the first quarter with right hamstring soreness and will be held out of Saturday's tilt. Nassir Little will start in his place while Keon Johnson could also see more action. Hart's next chance to play will come Monday against Atlanta.
Jan 27, 2023
Considered questionable
Hart (hamstring) is questionable for Saturday's matchup against the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Hart left Wednesday's contest against the Jazz in the first quarter due to right hamstring soreness and is a question mark for Portland's next game. Justice Winslow (ankle) remains sidelined, so if Hart is also ruled out, Nassir Little would presumably seeing extended playing time against Toronto.
Jan 25, 2023
Early exit Wendesday
Hart will not return to Wednesday's game against the Jazz due to right hamstring soreness.
ANALYSIS
Hart left the contest in the first quarter due to the issue and will not return. In his stead, Nasir Little and Keon Johnson will see more action. Hart's next chance to play will come Saturday against the Raptors.
Jan 23, 2023
Close to triple-double in loss
Hart provided 13 points (4-8 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 33 minutes during Sunday's 121-112 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Hart had been struggling offensively of late, but he delivered a decent performance Sunday and finished just three assists away from recording a triple-double. Hart is only averaging 8.5 points and 7.7 rebounds per game in January while struggling from deep, as he's making just 28.6 percent of his long-range attempts.
Jan 18, 2023
Offensive struggles continue
Hart logged four points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), six rebounds and four assists across 29 minutes during Tuesday's 122-113 loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Hart managed just four points in the loss, failing to top double-digits for the fourth time in his past five games. At this point, he is basically playing as the fifth offensive option, resulting in a season average of just 9.5 points per game. While he has been a top-100 player thus far, his overall production has been dwindling slowly over the past couple of weeks. Outside of his rebounding and steal numbers, Hart is hard to declare a must-roster player.
Jan 8, 2023
Near double-double in defeat
Hart provided 18 points (7-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one steal over 39 minutes during Sunday's 117-105 loss to the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Hart tallied his second-highest point total of the season, finishing just two rebounds short of his second straight double-double. Hard has scored 15 or more points with five or more rebounds in five games this year.
Jan 6, 2023
Two assists shy of triple-double
Hart had 12 points (4-4 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, eight assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Friday's 108-99 loss to the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Hart added another double-double Friday night, and even came close to reaching his first career triple-double with eight assists. While it wasn't a spectacular game as far as scoring the ball, he did shoot a perfect 4-for-4 from the field, including hitting both three-point attempts. The 27-year-old wing continues to provide great balance for category leagues.
Dec 31, 2022
Posts another double-double
Hart supplied 12 points (4-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-7 FT), 11 rebounds, seven assists and one block over 41 minutes during Friday's 118-112 loss to the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Hart turned in a neat shooting line in Friday's loss, and he also secured his third straight double-double with a strong night on the boards. The Villanova product snatched five of his 11 rebounds on the offensive glass. December turned out to be a solid month for Hart, as he averaged 10.7 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.0 steals in 33.3 minutes (12 appearances).
Dec 26, 2022
Active Monday
Hart (ankle) will play in Monday's game against Charlotte.
ANALYSIS
Hart will resume his normal starting role despite nursing a left ankle sprain. So far this year, Hart is averaging 9.8 points and 8.3 rebounds.
Dec 25, 2022
Likely to play Monday
Hart (ankle) is probable for Monday's game against Charlotte.
ANALYSIS
Hart has dealt with a left ankle sprain over the last few weeks, but it appears likely that he'll be available once again Monday. He's posted double-doubles in two of his last four appearances and has averaged 13.0 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 33.8 minutes per game during that time.
Dec 24, 2022
Posts double-double in loss
Hart posted 14 points (6-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, six assists and one steal over 37 minutes during Friday's 120-107 loss to Denver.
ANALYSIS
Hart got off to a solid start with eight points on 3-of-4 shooting from the field in the first half to go along with five boards and four assists. He came out strong after the break, knocking down three of four shots for six points and grabbing four more rebounds before going scoreless in the final period. The Portland guard grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds in the contest to record just his fourth double-double of the season and his second in his last four games.
Dec 23, 2022
Suiting up again
Hart (ankle) is available for Friday's game against Denver.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Hart is available and will presumably draw another start despite being initially listed as probable with a left ankle sprain. Over his past nine appearances, the versatile wing has averaged 10.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals in 31.6 minutes.
Dec 22, 2022
Probable again Friday

Dec 21, 2022
Ready to roll at OKC
Hart (ankle) will play Wednesday against Oklahoma City.
ANALYSIS
Hart continues to grace the injury report of late, but he hasn't missed any time since the first game of the month. All indications are that he'll once again be cleared for his usual role of roughly 30-to-35 minutes on the wing.
Dec 20, 2022
Deemed probable Wednesday
Hart is listed as probable for Wednesday's game versus the Thunder due to a left ankle sprain.
ANALYSIS
Hart has frequently been listed with the same designation and injury recently but hasn't missed a game since Dec. 3, so there should be little to worry about unless the status changes for the worse.
Dec 20, 2022
Posts well-rounded stat line Monday
Hart amassed 13 points (4-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds and six assists across 32 minutes during Monday's 123-121 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Hart was questionable coming into the contest due to a left ankle injury, but he was ultimately able to suit up and logged 32 minutes of court time. The verstatile forward finished fourth on the team with 13 points while tying for the lead with eight boards and six dimes. Hart doesn't usually score much -- this was was just the 13th time in 29 games that he's notched double-digit scoring -- but he's made an impact in other areas with 8.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.3 steals per contest.
Dec 19, 2022
Available Monday
Hart (ankle) is available for Monday's matchup against the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Hart was initially deemed probable due to a left ankle sprain, so it's not surprising to see him suit up. Since returning from a two-game absence, the versatile guard has averaged 9.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals in 31.0 minutes over his past seven appearances.
Dec 18, 2022
Probable for Monday
Hart has been listed as probable for Monday's game against the Thunder due to a left ankle sprain.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been seeing his regular workload in recent games, and the probable tag suggests that he shouldn't have problems remaining on the court ahead of Monday's contest. Hart is averaging 9.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game in December.
Dec 18, 2022
Shoots with efficiency
Hart produced 12 points (5-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 13 rebounds and one assist in 31 minutes during Saturday's 107-95 victory over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Hart shot well from the field in this one and secured his second double-double of the month with his best rebounding night since Nov. 25. He got off to a hot start, putting up seven points on 3-for-4 from the field while collecting five rebounds in the first quarter. Hart is now averaging 9.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.4 steals through 28 appearances this year.
Dec 17, 2022
Active Saturday
Hart (ankle) will take the floor Saturday against the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Hart was probable for the contest and as expected will suit up Saturday. He played through the injury in Portland's most recent game but logged just 22 minutes in the blowout loss. Hart should play closer to his season average of 34.6 minutes per game Saturday.
Dec 17, 2022
Considered probable
Hart is listed as probable for Saturday's matchup with the Rockets due to a left ankle sprain.
ANALYSIS
Hart played through the injury Friday without any setbacks. He figures to do so again Saturday assuming nothing happens to aggravate the injury. Still, final confirmation on his status will not come until closer to tip-off.
Dec 16, 2022
Cleared for action
Hart is available for Friday's matchup against Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Hart will suit up once again despite being initially listed as probable due to a left ankle sprain. Since missing two games due to the injury, the versatile guard has averaged 9.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.8 steals in 32.8 minutes over his past five appearances (all starts).
Dec 15, 2022
Listed probable Friday
Hart is tabbed as probable for Friday's game due to a left ankle sprain.
ANALYSIS
Hart's probable designation shouldn't be much of a cause for concern, as he's been dealt the same one in each of the last four games and suited up for all of them. Hart isn't a huge scorer, but he contributes enough in other categories to warrant a look in many fantasy formats. He should maintain his starting spot Friday versus Dallas, barring a setback.
Dec 14, 2022
Good to go Wednesday
Hart (ankle) is available to play in Wednesday's matchup with the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been upgraded from probable to available for Wednesday's game due to a left ankle sprain. His ankle injury has lingered since a brief absence in late November. Fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised if Hart continues to see probable tags ahead of future contests.
Dec 13, 2022
Likely to play against San Antonio
Hart is probable to play in Tuesday's matchup with the Spurs due to a left ankle sprain.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been playing through an ankle injury, consistently receiving probable tags before being upgraded to available. Hart has started in all 25 of his appearances this season and is providing solid fantasy value, which is driven by his averages of 8.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals.
Dec 13, 2022
Modest performance in win
Hart totaled eight points (3-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal over 28 minutes during Monday's 133-112 win over the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Hart continues to play through a minor ankle issue, producing a low-volume, yet serviceable performance. He has basically been as advertised this season, producing elite rebounding numbers from the guard position, while racking up steals on a consistent basis. In fact, he has now tallied at least one steal in all but three of his games thus far. He sits just inside the top 75 despite averaging just 9.7 points per game, demonstrating the fact that fantasy value can be forthcoming even when points are not a regular feature on the menu.
Dec 12, 2022
Cleared to play
Hart (ankle) will play Monday against the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Hart was tagged as probable due to a left ankle issue, and he's since been cleared to run the floor. He's averaging 10.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.0 steals in 34.4 minutes over his last five matchups.
Dec 11, 2022
Probable Monday
Hart (ankle) is listed as probable for Monday's game against Minnesota.
ANALYSIS
Hart has played in three straight games, so there's little reason to believe he's still dealing with the ankle issue that cost him a pair of contests on Nov. 30 and Dec. 3. The veteran finished Saturday's win over Minnesota with 11 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals in 33 minutes.
Dec 10, 2022
Available Saturday

Dec 8, 2022

ANALYSIS

Dec 7, 2022
Probable Thursday
Hart (ankle) is probable for Thursday's game against Denver, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart returned to action Sunday after missing two games from Nov. 30 to Dec. 3 with the ankle injury. Barring any major setbacks before tipoff, Hart will presumably resume his normal starting role versus the Nuggets.
Dec 5, 2022
Strong production in return
Hart (ankle) finished with 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt), 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals across 33 minutes in Sunday's 116-100 win over the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Though the return of Damian Lillard (calf) from a seven-game absence was the main storyline for the Trail Blazers, Hart's return from a two-game absence of his own was a welcome development. The third-year wing delivered a productive all-around showing while taking back his spot in the starting five, coming away with his second double-double of 2022-23 while tying his season-high mark in steals.
Dec 4, 2022
Good to go Sunday
Hart (ankle) will be available Sunday against Indiana.
ANALYSIS
Hart missed the last two games with an ankle injury, but he'll return to action after carrying a questionable tag into the day. The veteran has been a high-minute player for the Blazers all season. He's up to a career-high 35.7 minutes per game, which he's translated to 9.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.4 steals.
Dec 4, 2022
Iffy for Sunday's contest
Hart (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Hart has missed back-to-back games due to an ankle issue, but he'll have a chance to return Sunday, as he's listed as questionable for the first time since picking up the injury. However, if he remains sidelined, look for Justise Winslow, Trendon Watford and/or Shaedon Sharpe to garner increased roles.
Dec 3, 2022
Out vs. Jazz
Hart (ankle) is out Saturday against the Jazz, Jamie Hudson of KOIN 6 News Portland reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart will miss a second straight game for the shorthanded Trail Blazers. Elevated minutes should continue to be available for Justise Winslow, Trendon Watford, Shaedon Sharpe and others.
Dec 2, 2022
Unlikely to play Saturday
Hart (ankle) is doubtful for Saturday's contest against the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Hart suffered a left ankle sprain Tuesday against the Clippers which forced him to miss the team's most recent game and leaves him unlikely to go Saturday. Trendon Watford started in his place Wednesday and would likely retain that role if Hart sits.
Nov 30, 2022
Downgraded to out
Hart (ankle) won't play in Wednesday's matchup with the Lakers, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Timesreports.
ANALYSIS
Trendon Watford will start in Hart's place Wednesday. Hart will have extra time to rest before Saturday's game against the Jazz.
Nov 30, 2022
Questionable Wednesday
Hart is a question mark for Wednesday's game versus the Lakers due to a left ankle sprain, Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart's injury surfaced following Tuesday's game versus the Clippers, where he logged 33 minutes. Hart figures to see plenty of work again Wednesday if given the green light, but confirmation of his status will not surface until closer to the opening tip.
Nov 26, 2022
Grabs career-high 19 boards
Hart posted 10 points (4-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 19 rebounds, four assists and two steals across 42 minutes before fouling out of Friday's 132-129 overtime win over New York.
ANALYSIS
The 27-year-old wing was impressive throughout the game, picking up his spots to inflict damage on offense and being a massive presence on the glass, though the latter has been a trend all season long. Hart has pulled down at least 10 rebounds in four different games this season, but this was the first time he achieved that feat since a win over the Hornets on Nov. 9. He's averaging a robust 8.7 rebounds, along with 9.6 points, per game this season.
Nov 23, 2022
Good to go at Cavs
Hart (ankle) will play Wednesday against Cleveland.
ANALYSIS
Hart was probable coming into the day with a left ankle sprain, but it doesn't look like anything of real concern. Hart has taken on more of the scoring load of late, totaling 36 points over his last two games. He's also added 17 rebounds, four assists, four steals and a block in that span.
Nov 22, 2022
Listed as probable for Wednesday
Hart is listed as probable for Wednesday's game against Cleveland due to a left ankle sprain.
ANALYSIS
Hart was one rebound shy of a double-double during Monday's contest, but he appears to have sprained his ankle as well. Regardless, the issue doesn't appear to be too serious and shouldn't force him to miss his first game of the season. Across 17 appearances, the sixth-year wing has averaged 9.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.0 assits and 1.4 steals in 35.7 minutes per game.
Nov 21, 2022
Second straight double-digit performance
Hart closed with 17 points (7-9 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and two steals across 40 minutes during Monday's 119-111 loss to Milwaukee.
ANALYSIS
Hart finished one rebound shy of recording his first double-double since Nov. 9, having surpassed the double-digit scoring mark in two straight contests. Hart has averaged 9.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.4 steals over 16 games this season.
Nov 20, 2022
Comes close to double-double
Hart ended with 19 points (6-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and two steals across 30 minutes during Saturday's 118-113 loss to the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Hart has established himself as one of the best rebounders in the league, but his fantasy value always receives an uptick when he also produces on the offensive end of the court. This 19-point output tied his season-best mark, but he hasn't been consistent as a scorer and has scored in double digits just thrice in 10 November appearances. He's averaging 8.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.4 steals per game during that 10-game span.
Nov 18, 2022
Decent all-around night
Hart recorded seven points (3-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals over 30 minutes during Thursday's 109-107 loss to the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been held to single figures in scoring over his last three games, but he's proved valuable for his squad in other categories by stuffing the stat sheet. The Villanova product is averaging 7.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.3 steals on 36.5 percent shooting from the field over nine games in November.
Nov 8, 2022
Emerges as hero
Hart amassed 12 points (3-5 FG, 1-3 3PT, 5-7 FT), nine rebounds, eight assists and two steals across 37 minutes in Monday's 110-107 victory over Miami.
ANALYSIS
Hart served as the hero in this one, as he hit a buzzer-beater three to win the contest for Portland. He also contributed across the board for his squad, falling one rebound and two assists shy of a triple-double. Hart's performance Monday night was a welcome sight, as he'd been held to single digits in the scoring column in four straight games heading to Miami.
Nov 7, 2022
Good to go Monday
Hart (ankle) will be available Monday at Miami.
ANALYSIS
As anticipated, Hart will continue to play through the right ankle issue that's plagued him for the last couple of games. He was listed as probable entering Monday, so there's no expectation that he'll be limited. Hart posted four points, seven rebounds, eight assists and a steal in Saturday's blowout loss to Phoenix.
Nov 6, 2022
Probable for Monday
Hart (ankle) is probable for Monday's game against Miami.
ANALYSIS
Hart continues to deal with a slight ankle sprain, but he should continue to suit up Monday. Over his last four games, he's averaging 6.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists in 36.0 minutes per contest.
Nov 5, 2022
Starting against Suns
Hart (ankle) is starting Saturday against the Suns, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Portland's head coach Chauncey Billups said he's sticking with the same lineup that started against the Grizzlies, so Hart will reclaim his usual spot in the starting five despite the fact he was dealing with a right ankle injury just a few hours before tip-off. He's far from being a scoring threat and that diminishes his fantasy value, but he's a valuable piece for the Blazers due to his elite defensive and rebounding upside. He's pulling down a career-high 8.8 boards per contest.
Nov 5, 2022
Likely to play Saturday
Hart is probable to play in Saturday's game versus the Suns due to a right ankle injury, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been a valuable wing defender for the Trail Blazers this season. The 27-year-old forward is averaging a career-high in rebounds at 8.8. If Hart is unable to play Saturday, Nassir Little and Justise Winslow are in line to receive extended minutes.
Nov 3, 2022
All-around performance in loss
Hart posted five points (1-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-5 FT), six rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 40 minutes in Wednesday's 111-106 to the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Hart is not a volume scorer, averaging 9.7 points in 36.4 minutes through the first seven games. However, his defense and rebounding (8.7 per game) have ensured that he maintains a crucial role for the Trail Blazers.
Nov 2, 2022
Upgraded to available Wednesday
Hart (concussion) will play in Wednesday's game versus the Grizzlies, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart has cleared concussion protocols ahead of Wednesday's game. Hart has started in all six games for the Trail Blazers this season and is set to do so versus Memphis.
Nov 1, 2022
Officially questionable Wednesday
Hart (concussion) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Hart's status is murky for Wednesday after he landed in concussion protocols Friday. If he's out, more minutes would be available for Nassir Little, Keon Johnson and Shaedon Sharpe.
Nov 1, 2022
Status cloudy for Wednesday
Head coach Chauncey Billups indicated Tuesday that Hart (concussion) is progressing well but the team won't know until game day whether he will be available versus the Grizzlies on Wednesday, Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart left last Friday's game versus the Rockets and isn't in the clear to suit up Wednesday despite an extended rest between contests. He will presumably be listed as questionable for Wednesday's tilt and will likely have his status clarified closer to the opening tip. If he can't play, Nassir Little and Justise Winslow are among the candidates who could slot into a starting role.
Oct 29, 2022
In concussion protocol
Hart has entered the NBA's concussion protocol following Friday's game versus the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Hart logged 34 minutes in the game but apparently suffered a concussion in the contest and will need to make it through the return-to-participation process before being allowed back on the floor. Fortunately for him and the Trail Blazers, the team doesn't return to action until Wednesday against the Grizzlies so Hart could avoid missing any action.
Oct 27, 2022
Strong stat line against Miami
Hart had 10 points (3-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, six assists, one block and three steals across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 119-98 loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Hart is never going to be known for his offensive contributions, and in fact, he's failed to score more than 10 points in each of his last four appearances. His real value lies in what he can provide in other categories, particularly as one of the best rebounding guards in the league. He's pulled down at least six boards in every game this season and is averaging 9.4 rebounds, along with 10.8 points, 4.0 assists and 1.6 steals, per game.
Oct 23, 2022
Grabs 16 boards in win
Hart provided nine points (3-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 16 rebounds, five assists and two steals in 36 minutes during Sunday's 106-104 win over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
While Hart didn't play a major role in the offense for Portland, he was efficient when given opportunities and dominated the defensive glass. The 27-year-old has been excellent in the first three games, averaging 12.7 points, 10.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists while making 56.0 percent of his shot attempts. While he only took five shots Sunday, he took 20 shots over his first two contests and will likely receive more offensive chances moving forward.
Oct 9, 2022
Wins starting job
Hart will serve as the Trail Blazers' starting small forward to begin the season, Aaron J. Fentress of The Oregonian reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart started the Trail Blazers' first two preseason games this year, and he'll retain that role once the regular season gets underway while Nassir Little and Justise Winslow come off the bench. Over 13 games with Portland last year, Hart averaged 19.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 32.1 minutes per game.
Oct 4, 2022
Grabs 10 rebounds
Hart tallied five points (2-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists and two steals across 25 minutes in Monday's 102-97 exhibition loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Hart's value to the team is multi-pronged, as he combines an apt backcourt offense with good defense, and Monday's line is a good example of the diverse impact he can have on the game flow. Although the acquisition of Jerami Grant will relegate Hart to a backcourt role with more frequency, it's a good sign that he started the preseason opener. Nassir Little and Keon Johnson will also fight for a larger role behind Hart.

Won't play in finale
Hart (knee) will not play Sunday against the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Hart will miss the final 12 games of the year due to patellar tendinopathy. Still, the 2021-22 campaign was the best of Hart's career, as he saw elevated usage on both New Orleans and Portland. In total, he appeared in 54 games and averaged 14.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 33.2 minutes.
Apr 8, 2022
Remains out Friday
Hart (knee) is out Friday against Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Hart continues to battle patellar tendinopathy in his left knee and hasn't played since March 20. His final chance to return this season will come Sunday against Utah.
Mar 28, 2022
Out at least another week
Hart (knee) will remain out for at least one more week.
ANALYSIS
Hart continues to battle a left knee issue that has already cost him the last four games. While Portland stopped short of ruling him out for the remainder of the season, it's very possible that we've seen the last of the wing, who came over from New Orleans at the deadline as part of the CJ McCollum trade.
Mar 27, 2022
Remains out Monday
Hart (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Thunder, Jamie Hudson of KOIN 6 News Portland reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart will be unavailable for a fifth consecutive game due to knee soreness. CJ Elleby will likely draw another start Monday.
Mar 26, 2022
Won't play Saturday
Hart (knee) remains sidelined for Saturday's game against the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Hart will skip his fourth consecutive game due to the knee issue and it's unclear exactly when he will be back in action. Look for CJ Elleby to draw another start in his absence.
Mar 25, 2022
Out Friday
Hart (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Hart will miss a third straight game due to knee soreness. In his absence, CJ Elleby is expected to draw another start.
Mar 22, 2022
Out Wednesday
Hart is out Wednesday against the Spurs due to left knee soreness, Jamie Hudson of KOIN 6 News Portland reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart will miss a second straight game due to knee soreness. It's a tough hit for fantasy managers, as he was averaging 28.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.4 steals across his previous five appearances. Justise Winslow figures to see increased usage.
Mar 21, 2022
Out on second half of B2B
Hart will not be available for Monday night's game at Detroit, Blazers reporter Casey Holdahl reports.
ANALYSIS
Playing on the second half of a back-to-back set, the Blazers will build in some rest for Hart, who saw 30 minutes of action in Sunday night's 31-point loss to the Pacers. Expect Hart to return for Wednesday's home matchup against the Spurs. Looking ahead, the Pelicans have another back-to-back Friday and Saturday (both vs. HOU), so Hart could end up sitting out one of those contests, as well.
Mar 21, 2022
King of Harts
Hart recorded 26 points (11-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, four assists and two steals across 30 minutes during Sunday's 129-98 loss to the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Hart supplied arguably his best shooting performance of the season, connecting on 84.6 percent of his 13 attempts. Also, since being dealt to Portland, Hart has shot an improved 36.0 percent from deep across 13 games. He shot 32.3 percent on three-point attempts in New Orleans. Hart is an underrated fantasy asset amid a career year.
Mar 15, 2022
Rampage continues
Hart racked up 31 points (11-21 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 5-7 FT), seven rebounds and four assists across 38 minutes during Monday's 122-113 loss to the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Hart didn't have a 30 point game all season prior to Saturday's 44-point explosion. However, he followed it up with another signature outing Monday. Hart is just a 33.3 percent shooting from beyond the arc, but he's connected on 10-of-19 attempts over his past two games. Hart's rest-of-season outlook with Portland suddenly has incredible upside.
Mar 13, 2022
Explodes for career-best 44 points
Hart provided 44 points (15-21 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 8-8 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and four steals across 36 minutes during Saturday's 127-118 victory over Washington.
ANALYSIS
Hart came into Saturday mired in an ugly slump during which he shot just 18.8 percent (6-of-32) over three games, but he looked like a completely different player against the Wizards. The 27-year-old enjoyed the most dynamic offensive performance of his career, easily surpassing his previous high of 30 points, which he set as a member of the Lakers back in 2018. Hart also made a season-best six three-pointers on nine attempts and rounded out his robust stat line with eight boards, six dimes and four steals. This is very likely to go down as Hart's best game of the campaign, but don't expect him to revert to his slump. He's shown more offensive aggressiveness since joining the Blazers on Feb. 8, posting at least 22 points in four of nine contests.
Mar 7, 2022
Back in starting lineup
Hart will start Monday's game against Minnesota, Blazers radio host Jay Allen reports.
ANALYSIS
As anticipated, Hart will return to the lineup after being held out of action Saturday against the Wolves. With Anfernee Simons (quad) sidelined Monday, Hart is easily the most accomplished scorer and playmaker in the Blazers' starting five.
Mar 6, 2022
Expected to return Monday
Hart is not on the injury report ahead of Monday's game at Minnesota, Blazers reporter Casey Holdahl reports.
ANALYSIS
With just over a month left in the regular season, the Blazers are beginning to kick their tanking strategy into high gear. Hart was held out of Saturday's game against Minnesota for rest purposes, despite the fact that Portland hadn't played since Wednesday. After another off day Sunday, all indications are that Hart will be back in the starting five Monday night, but how many minutes he sees will be worth monitoring. After playing 37, 36 and 37 minutes, respectively, through his first three games in Portland, Hart has played only 27, 31 and 23 minutes in his subsequent three appearances.
Mar 4, 2022
Resting Saturday
Hart is out Saturday against Minnesota for rest purposes, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart had appeared in each of the last six games, and he averaged 17.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 31.8 minutes per game during that time. Elijah Hughes, CJ Elleby and Ben McLemore should see increased run Saturday.
Feb 25, 2022
Posts 12/6/4 line in loss
Hart supplied 12 points (5-11 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal in 27 minutes during Thursday's 132-95 loss to the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Hart missed all five of this three-point attempts but still managed a respectable 5-for-11 shooting line from the field. The fifth-year pro snapped a string of three straight games with 20-plus points, though he tied for the third on the team in scoring in the lopsided loss. Hart should see plenty of court time over the second half of the campaign, and he is averaging 21.0 points, 5.3 boards, 4.3 assists and 2.8 three-pointers in four games with Portland thus far.
Feb 14, 2022
Puts together another strong night
Hart posted 27 points (10-16 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal across 36 minutes during Monday's 122-107 win over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Hart has gotten off to a red hot start with his squad, shooting 17-for-28 from the field and 8-for-15 from three in his first two games with the Blazers. He's seeing around the same playing time so far as he did while a part of the Pelicans, but he's knocked down the same number of triples in two games with Portland then he did in his last eight with New Orleans.
Feb 13, 2022
Scores 23 in Blazers debut
Hart amassed 23 points (7-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 6-8 FT), one rebound and two assists in 37 minutes during Saturday's 112-103 victory over the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Hart came over from New Orleans in the CJ McCollum swap, and Saturday marked his debut in a Blazers uniform. He entered the starting lineup right away and saw a full workload, which bodes well for his fantasy value going forward. The Blazers are clearly embracing a rebuild the rest of the way, but Hart, Jusuf Nurkic and Anfernee Simons should each remain strong contributors. Portland plays twice -- Monday at MIL; Wednesday at MEM -- in Week 18 before heading into the All-Star break.
Feb 12, 2022
Starting in team debut
Hart will start Saturday's game against the Knicks, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was unavailable Wednesday against the Lakers after he was traded to the Trail Blazers on Tuesday, but he'll be part of the starting lineup during his team debut Saturday. He's averaged 14.7 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 35.9 minutes per game since the start of the calendar year and should have plenty of chances to make an impact in Portland.
Feb 9, 2022
Out Wednesday
Hart (rest) is out for Wednesday's game against the Lakers, Jay Allen of NBC Sports Northwest Rip City Radio 620 reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was originally not listed on the injury report but will be a late scratch as he gets settled in with Portland. Hart was just traded to Portland on Tuesday and is now likely to make his Trail Blazers debut on Saturday against the Knicks. Prior to the trade, the 26-year-old had scored in double-figures in 22 straight games for the Pelicans with 10 of those being double-doubles. Hart figures to make an impact for Portland immediately upon his debut.
Feb 9, 2022
Not listed on injury report
Hart is not listed on the Blazers' injury report ahead of Wednesday night's game against the Lakers, Sean Highkin of Bleacher Report reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was just traded to the Blazers on Tuesday afternoon, and he remained in New Orleans to watch the Pelicans' game on Tuesday night, so this will be a situation worth monitoring over the next several hours. His exclusion from the injury report implies that he'll be available to debut Wednesday night, but given the circumstances it would not be surprising if he ends up sitting out.
Feb 8, 2022
Headed to Portland
The Trail Blazers are expected to finalize a deal Tuesday to acquire Hart and draft-pick compensation from the Trail Blazers in exchange for CJ McCollum, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart has enjoyed the best season of his career in his fifth year in the NBA in 2021-22, averaging 13.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.0 three-pointers in 33.5 minutes per game over 41 appearances. However, with New Orleans eager to add a more dynamic offensive option to its backcourt in McCollum, Hart was deemed expendable and was set to Portland, where he'll be one of few healthy and established NBA rotation players on the roster. As such, Hart shouldn't be expected to see much of a reduction in playing time with the move to Portland, as his main competition for minutes at forward in the near term will come from Tony Snell, CJ Elleby, Greg Brown and Justise Winslow. Hart could even see a slight uptick in scoring opportunities, given that McCollum's 25.6 percent usage rate on the season will have to be filtered somewhere. Assuming the Trail Blazers and Pelicans are able to make the deal official in the next day or two, Hart could make his Portland debut as early as Wednesday versus the La
Feb 7, 2022
No limitations in return
Hart (knee) finished with 13 points (4-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and three steals across 36 minutes Sunday in the Pelicans' 120-107 win over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Hart received the green light to play after missing the last two games with a bruised left knee, and the heavy minutes he received suggests the Pelicans don't have many concerns about his health heading into the team's upcoming three-game week. With Hart back in action, Jaxson Hayes moved into a bench role, but he still picked up 28 minutes of playing time and put up 21 points, seven rebounds, two steals and two blocks while handling backup run at both power forward and center.
Feb 6, 2022
Good to go Sunday
Hart (knee) will be available for Sunday's game against the Rockets, Pelicans studio host Daniel Sallerson reports.
ANALYSIS
After initially being deemed a game-time call, Hart has officially been cleared to make his return from a two-game absence. When healthy, Hart has been productive of late, averaging 15.9 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.3 threes over his last 14 appearances.
Feb 6, 2022
Expected to be game-time decision
Coach Willie Green said Hart (knee) will go through warmups before they make a decision on his status for Sunday's matchup with Houston, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart has missed the past two games due to a bruised left knee. He's officially listed as questionable, but that designation doesn't warrant optimism, as the fifth-year wing was also listed as questionable ahead of Friday's contest before ultimately being sidelined.
Feb 5, 2022
Questionable Sunday
Hart (knee) is questionable Sunday against the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Hart has missed the past two games due to a bruised left knee. He's stepped his game up since early December, posting 21 straight games with double-digit scoring and averages of 15.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.1 steals in 36.5 minutes.
Feb 4, 2022
Out Friday
Hart (knee) will be sidelined for Friday's game against the Nuggets, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart's absence will be his second straight game missed due to a left knee contusion. As a result, some combination of Tomas Satoransky, Herbert Jones and Brandon Ingram figure to eat up his minutes.
Feb 3, 2022
Questionable against Nuggets
Hart (knee) is questionable for Friday's game against the Nuggets, Jim Eichenhofer of the Pelicans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was unavailable Tuesday against Detroit due to a left knee contusion, but he'll have a chance to return to the court Friday. If he's held out again, Tomas Satoransky and Brandon Ingram should see increased playing time.
Feb 1, 2022
Out Tuesday
Hart (knee) will not play in Tuesday's game against the Pistons, Jim Eichenhofer of Pelicans.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart played through a sore left knee Monday against Cleveland, finishing with 10 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals in 37 minutes. It's unclear if he tweaked the knee during the 93-90 loss, but chances are the Pelicans are simply holding him out for precautionary purposes on the second half of the back-to-back. Hart should have a good chance to return for Friday's game at Denver.
Jan 31, 2022
Available, starting Monday
Hart (knee) is available and starting Monday against the Cavaliers, Daniel Sallerson of the Pelicans Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was considered questionable due to a bruised left knee but has been cleared to take the court Monday. The 26-year-old averaged 15.6 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.4 steals in 36.4 minutes over his past five games, and he should continue to see a heavier offensive workload with Brandon Ingram (ankle) still sidelined.
Jan 30, 2022
Questionable for Monday's contest
Hart is questionable for Monday's matchup against the Cavaliers due to a left knee contusion.
ANALYSIS
Hart totaled 10 points and 13 rebounds across 35 minutes during Saturday's loss to Boston, but he apparently picked up a knee injury in the process. Brandon Ingram (ankle) is also questionable, so Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Garrett Temple and Tomas Satoransky could all be in line for increased roles if one or two of the aforementioned starters is unable to suit up.
Jan 30, 2022
Double-doubles in start
Hart amassed 10 points (4-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists and three steals in 35 minutes during Saturday's 107-97 loss to Boston.
ANALYSIS
Hart helped on both ends of the floor in Brandon Ingram's (ankle) absence. He is an everyday starter as the team moves forward without Zion Williamson (foot), who is still weeks away from a return. Hart has posted double-digit scoring totals in 20 consecutive games and has largely flown under the fantasy radar with 11 double-doubles.
Jan 29, 2022
Grabs eight boards in return
Hart notched 16 points (6-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal over 37 minutes during Friday's 116-105 loss to Denver.
ANALYSIS
Hart returned to the lineup after a one-game absence due to a left ankle sprain and extend his streak of consecutive double-digit scoring outings to 19. During that stretch, the fifth-year wing has averaged 16.1 points, 8.9 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.0 steals in 36.6 minutes.
Jan 28, 2022
Will play Friday
Hart (ankle) is good to go for Friday's tilt against the Nuggets, Daniel Sallerson of the Pelicans Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart is returning from a one-game absence due to a left ankle sprain. Barring any setbacks, look for the 26-year-old to resume his usual role at small forward.
Jan 27, 2022
Questionable Friday
Hart (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game against the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Hart didn't participate in Thursday's practice session after missing Tuesday's game against the 76ers with a left ankle sprain. If he's unavailable once again, Garrett Temple and Tomas Satoransky should take on increased roles.
Jan 27, 2022
Sits out practice
Pelicans head coach Willie Green said Hart (ankle) didn't practice Thursday, Christian Clark of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
ANALYSIS
Green merely said, "We'll see," when asked if Hart would play Friday versus the Nuggets, so the fifth-year forward can be viewed as questionable for the time being. Hart missed the Pelicans' most recent game Tuesday in Philadelphia with the sprained left ankle, which the team appears to be viewing as a day-to-day concern.
Jan 25, 2022
Won't play Tuesday
Hart (ankle) will not play in Tuesday's game against the 76ers, Pelicans broadcaster Erin Summers reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart played through a sprained left ankle Monday against the Pacers to finish with 22 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and a steal, but the Pelicans will hold him out Tuesday -- likely on a precautionary basis -- as they finish out a back-to-back set. Jonas Valanciunas (rest), Devonte' Graham (ankle) and Brandon Ingram (ankle) will also sit.
Jan 25, 2022
Posts double-double Monday
Hart (ankle) ended with 22 points (6-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 9-9 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal over 36 minutes during Monday's 117-113 win over Indiana.
ANALYSIS
Hart finished second on New Orleans in both points and rebounds in the victory. He left the game briefly in the second half with an ankle injury but returned to polish off his fourth double-double in January. The fifth-year pro has bolstered his fantasy value considerably by notching double-digit points in 18 straight games since the start of December. In addition to his typically solid rebounding, Hart has taken his game to new levels this season by posting career-best per-game averages of 13.5 points and 4.2 assists.
Jan 24, 2022
Returns to game
Hart (ankle) was cleared to return to Monday's game against Indiana, Christian Clark of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart left the contest briefly to be evaluated, but he ultimately got the green light from the medical staff and was able to re-enter the game.
Jan 24, 2022
Questionable to return
Hart suffered a left ankle sprain during Monday's game against the Pacers and is questionable to return, Jim Eichenhofer of the Pelicans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart appeared to suffer the injury during the second half and went to the locker room shortly after. Tomas Satoransky could pick up extra minutes if Hart is unable to return.
Jan 17, 2022
Near double-double in loss
Hart ended with 13 points (6-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-3 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and one steal across 39 minutes during Monday's 104-92 loss to the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Hart has scored in double figures in 16 straight appearances and is averaging 15.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.0 steals during that stretch. The fifth-year pro is in the midst of a breakout campaign and continues to stuff the stat sheet on a nightly basis.
Jan 11, 2022
Flirts with double-double in return
Hart logged 21 points (8-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Tuesday's 128-125 victory over the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Hart picked right up where he left off in the victory, continuing what has been a breakout season thus far. Known as an elite rebounder from the guard position, Hart has added some consistent defensive production, as well as an expanded offensive game. When put together, we have a pretty clear must-roster player across every single format.
Jan 10, 2022
Will be available Tuesday
Hart (COVID-19) will be available for Tuesday's contest against the Timberwolves, Pelicans' broadcaster Erin Summers reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart wasn't with the team for Sunday's game against the Raptors due to what is believed to be related to a COVID-19 contact-tracing concern. However, the issue appears to be resolved and the Villanova product will be able to return to the court Tuesday. On the season, Hart is averaging 12.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 32.8 minutes.
Jan 8, 2022
Out Sunday
Hart is not with the team ahead of Sunday's game against the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
A reason for Hart's absence is a contact tracing issue. In his absence, more minutes should be available for Garrett Temple, Naji Marshall and other wings.
Jan 5, 2022
Stat-stuffing continues
Hart accumulated 15 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 11 rebounds and five assists in 37 minutes during Tuesday's 123-110 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been on a tear over his past 12 appearances, registering at least four assists in each and compiling six double-doubles with points and rebounds. There have been points in which the Pelicans have been missing more players during this stretch, but it's encouraging him to see still stuff the stat sheet when nearly the entire team is healthy.
Jan 2, 2022
Narrowly misses first triple-double
Hart (ankle) tallied 14 points (5-13 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-9 FT), 11 rebounds, nine assists, one steal and one block across 36 minutes Saturday in the Pelicans' 136-113 loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
The poor shooting from the free-throw line and the field took away some of the shine from what was nearly his first career triple-double, but Hart has been much more efficient from both areas on the season (76.1 FT%, 52.2 FG%). More than anything, fantasy managers who have been riding the wave of his big production of late were likely just happy to see him back in the lineup after he sat out the Pelicans' previous game Tuesday against the Cavaliers due to an ankle injury. Since missing the first three contests of December with a left knee issue, Hart has been a tremendous fantasy producer, particularly in points leagues. In his nine appearances dating back to the start of last month, Hart is averaging 16.2 points, 9.3 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.3 three-pointers and 1.1 steals.
Jan 1, 2022
Good to go Saturday
Hart (ankle) will play and start Saturday's game against the Bucks, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After a brief absence due to a sprained ankle, Hart will attempt to pick up where he left off and should continue to see extra usage with Brandon Ingram (Achilles) and Jonas Valanciunas (COVID-19 protocols) sidelined. Over his past eight appearances, Hart has averaged 16.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.1 steals in 37.6 minutes.
Dec 31, 2021
Probable vs. Bucks
Hart (ankle) is probable for Saturday's matchup against the Bucks, Pelicans broadcaster Erin Summers reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart practiced Friday, which apparently went well since he's deemed probable. He'll likely only end up missing one game due to the ankle sprain. Over his past eight matchups, he's averaging 16.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.1 steals in 37.6 minutes.
Dec 31, 2021
Considered day-to-day
Coach Willie Green said Hart (ankle) practiced Friday, but he's still considered day-to-day, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart missed Tuesday's win over the Cavaliers due to a sprained left ankle, but he could possibly return Saturday against the Bucks. Before his absence, Hart had scored 20-plus points in three straight games and was averaging 23.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.3 steals across 39.0 minutes during those contests.
Dec 28, 2021
Out Tuesday
Hart (ankle) is out Tuesday against the Cavaliers, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart will miss his first game since Dec. 5. He's been on a tear over the past eight games, with averages of 16.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.1 steals in 37.6 minutes. In his absence, with Brandon Ingram (Achilles) also sidelined, more minutes should be available for Garrett Temple, Tomas Satoransky and Herbert Jones.
Dec 27, 2021
Nursing sprained ankle
Hart is questionable for Tuesday's matchup with the Cavaliers due to a sprained left ankle, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart presumably picked up the ankle sprain Sunday against the Thunder while putting up 29 points (10-17 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block in 29 blocks. The 26-year-old's availability is significant for New Orleans, as Brandon Ingram (Achilles) is already expected to sit out Tuesday.
Dec 24, 2021
Efficient in win
Hart registered 22 points (7-10 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one steal over 38 minutes during Thursday's 110-104 victory over the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Hart put forth another well-rounded and efficient effort. The 26-year-old is vastly outplaying his ADP/preseason rankings and has logged over 32 minutes in each of the last eight games. Behind only Jonas Valanciunas in wins above replacement on this Pelicans squad, Hart is amid a career-best season.
Dec 22, 2021
Drops full line Tuesday
Hart totaled 20 points (7-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals across 41 minutes during Tuesday's 111-97 victory over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Hart was fantastic for the Pelicans on Tuesday, logging a team-high 41 minutes. While things have not gone as planned from a team perspective, Hart has been a real positive thus far. He is in the midst of a career-best season, thanks in part to the misfortunes of others. He is arguably the best rebounding guard in the league and coupled with solid defensive production and a surprising uptick in assists, he really has to be rostered everywhere at this point.
Dec 19, 2021
Pelicans-76ers postponed
Hart and the Pelicans won't face the 76ers on Sunday after the game was postponed due to depth concerns for Philadelphia, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Philadelphia currently has three players in the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocol and another seven players on the injury report, leaving the team with just seven healthy members on the roster. Since the NBA stipulates that teams must have eight players active for the contest, the league was forced to postpone the contest. Hart and the Pelicans will return to action Tuesday against the Trail Blazers.
Dec 13, 2021
Hauls in 10 boards Sunday
Hart logged 13 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 10 rebounds and four assists in 33 minutes during Sunday's 112-97 loss to the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Hart racked up another double-double, continuing what has been a productive season thus far. Despite question marks surrounding his role coming into the season, Hart has been arguably the most consistent Pelican. His scoring is not always a category to be counted upon; however his out-of-position rebounding is arguably the best in the league, and add to that a handful of assists and some defensive cash-counters, and you have a must-roster fantasy asset.
Dec 8, 2021
Available Wednesday
Hart (knee) will be available for the Pelicans on Wednesday against the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been dealing with left knee soreness which prevented the forward from playing in the Pelicans' last three games. While it's uncertain if he'll be able to start against Denver, Hart has managed to start in every game he's played in except for one. Expect Hart to be limited coming off a three-game absence as he received 22 minutes after a four-game absence earlier in the season.
Dec 8, 2021
Expected to be game-time decision
Hart (knee) went through shootaround and is expected to be a game-time decision ahead of Wednesday's contest against the Nuggets, Jim Eichenhofer of the Pelicans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart wasn't able to practice Tuesday, and as expected, will be a game-time decision Wednesday. On the season, the 6-foot-5 wing is averaging 11.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists across 30.1 minutes per game. If he is ultimately ruled out, then Garrett Temple will likely see an uptick in playing time.
Dec 7, 2021
Doesn't practice Tuesday
Hart (knee) didn't practice Tuesday, but coach Willie Green said he will likely go through shootaround Wednesday, Christian Clark of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart has missed three consecutive games due to left knee soreness. However, based on Green's comments, it sounds like he will be a game-time decision ahead of Wednesday's contest against the Nuggets. If Hart is unable to suit up, then Garrett Temple will likely take his place in the starting five once again.
Dec 5, 2021
Ruled out Sunday
Hart (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rockets, Daniel Sallerson of the Pelicans Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart will be sidelined for a third consecutive game due to left knee soreness. Garrett Temple will likely take his place in the starting five once again.
Dec 4, 2021
Questionable at Houston
Hart (knee) is questionable against the Rockets on Sunday, according to Jim Eichenhofer of the Pelicans' official site.
ANALYSIS
Hart's availability status remains questionable due to soreness concerning his left knee. Garrett Temple benefited from previous Hart absences, considering the former averaged 23.0 minutes of playing time across two starts.
Dec 3, 2021
Ruled out Friday
Hart (knee) is out Friday against the Mavericks, Daniel Sallerson of the Pelicans Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart will be sidelined for a second straight contest due to left knee soreness. Tomas Satoransky and Trey Murphy should see additional run Friday.
Dec 2, 2021
Questionable Friday
Hart (knee) is questionable for Friday's game against the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Hart missed Wednesday's game against Dallas due to left knee soreness, but he has a chance to return Friday. If he remains sidelined, Tomas Satoransky and Trey Murphy should see increased playing time.
Dec 1, 2021
Will not play Wednesday
Hart (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's contest against the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Hart is dealing with soreness in his left knee and will miss his first game since late October. His next chance to play will be Friday against the Mavericks. Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Garrett Temple and Tomas Satoransky figure to have larger roles in Hart's absence.
Dec 1, 2021
Will be true game-time decision
Hart (knee) will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's game against Dallas, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
How Hart fares in pregame warmups will determine his availability Wednesday evening. Look for an update on his status closer to tip.
Dec 1, 2021
Dealing with knee soreness
Hart is questionable for Wednesday's contest against the Mavericks due to left knee soreness.
ANALYSIS
Hart was a late addition to the injury report, which is always a concerning sign. If he is unable to play, then Garrett Temple, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Tomas Satoransky would all be candidates for increased playing time.
Nov 30, 2021
Totals 12 boards, nine dimes in win
Hart closed Monday's 123-104 victory over the Clippers with four points (1-9 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds, nine assists and two steals in 33 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Hart was unable to get his shot to drop Monday, missing all five of his three-point tries and going 1-for-9 from the field overall. However, he made up for the shooting inefficiency by tying his season high with 12 rebounds and adding nine assists. Hart's inconsistent scoring -- he is averaging a modest 11.1 points per game on the campaign -- dents his fantasy value considerably, but he can be an asset for his above-average rebounding at his position.
Nov 22, 2021
Puts up gaudy numbers in loss
Hart provided 13 points (5-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, five assists, three blocks and three steals across 32 minutes during Monday's 110-96 loss to the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Hart was the Pelicans' best player Monday, putting up solid production across all categories. While the team has been languishing, Hart has been able to put together a nice string of performances, making him a must-roster player in all formats. He is not going to light up the scoreboard every night but is arguably the best out-of-position rebounder in the league, making him an intriguing addition.
Nov 20, 2021
Quiet night in heavy loss
Hart recorded seven points (3-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds, one block and one steal over 24 minutes during Saturday's 111-94 loss to Indiana.
ANALYSIS
Hart was unable to maintain his recent momentum, turning in a quiet performance Saturday. He has been one of the bright spots for the Pelicans thus far, carving out a meaningful role. He has the ability to play a number of positions and can provide some nice wing defense in the process. While he is unlikely to blow up for a 30 points game, his across-the-board production is more than enough for him to be a must-roster 12-team player.
Nov 17, 2021
Scores efficient 18 in loss
Hart had 18 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-8 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and two steals in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 113-98 loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Hart was coming off his first double-double of the season Monday, and he followed it up by scoring 18 points on only eight shots. from the field. He should continue to start for the Pelicans until Zion Williamson (foot) is cleared to take the court.
Nov 15, 2021
First double-double of season
Hart registered 13 points (3-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists and one steal in 38 minutes during Monday's loss to the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
This was Hart's first double-double of the season, as the forward led the Pelicans off the glass while reaching double figures offensively for a second time over the past three games. Hart's 12 rebounds also marked a new season high, breaking his previous high of nine set Nov. 2 against Phoenix. Hart is currently fifth on the team in scoring and third in rebounding.
Nov 13, 2021
Hands out 11 dimes Saturday
Hart amassed five points (2-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt), 11 assists, three rebounds and one steal in 32 minutes during Saturday's 112-101 victory over Memphis.
ANALYSIS
Hart was very passive on the offensive end in the victory but atoned for his shortcomings by handing out a season-high 11 assists. While he doesn't have the highest upside, Hart's ability to contribute in multiple categories makes him a more than adequate 12-team asset. As long as points aren't high on your list of priorities, Hart is certainly worth picking up.
Nov 10, 2021
Ejected Wednesday
Hart was ejected from Wednesday's game against the Thunder after committing two technical fouls, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was ejected in the second quarter after he was assessed his second technical foul of the night for arguing with officials following an over-the-back call. He is officially done for the night, but should be available when the Pelicans host the Nets on Friday.
Nov 9, 2021
Big night in loss
Hart posted 22 points (8-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, five assists and a steal across 38 minutes in a 108-92 loss to the Mavericks on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Hart co-led the Pelicans in scoring and minutes played. The extended absence of Brandon Ingram (hip) has paid major dividends for Hart's value and he could maintain a healthy role upon Ingram's return. Hart is averaging 12.0 points on 57 percent shooting through seven games.
Nov 6, 2021
Nudges double-double Friday
Hart totaled 10 points (3-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Friday's 126-85 loss to the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Hart put up another solid performance despite the savage loss, continuing to push for standard league relevance. After an injury-plagued start to the season, Hart has been able to establish himself in the starting lineup, and given the lack of talent around him at the moment, managers in 12-team formats could certainly do a lot worse if Hart is still available.
Oct 31, 2021
Goes for 16 points, eight boards
Hart finished Saturday's loss to the Knicks with 16 points (6-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and eight rebounds.
ANALYSIS
Hart made his return to action Friday against the Kings following a four-game absence, but he was in the starting lineup Saturday as the Pelicans were without Brandon Ingram (hip). Hart fared well in his 30 minutes of action, adding efficient scoring to his usual rebounding production. The Pelicans' rotation could remain in flux for much of the year, but when healthy Hart should provide points, threes and rebounds for fantasy mangers.
Oct 30, 2021
Starting for injured Ingram
Hart will start Saturday's game against the Knicks, Daniel Sallerson of the Pelicans Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
With Brandon Ingram (hip) sidelined, Hart will start. He's played just 32 total minutes this season due to injury and has totaled 11 points, seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block.
Oct 30, 2021
Available vs. Knicks
Hart (quadriceps) is available Saturday against the Knicks, according to Daniel Sallerson of the Pelicans Radio Network.
ANALYSIS
Hart will play Saturday despite concerns about his previous quadriceps tendinosis that forced him out for four games. And because Brandon Ingram (hip) is unavailable, the 26-year-old has an excellent chance to supply great value Saturday.
Oct 30, 2021
Probable Saturday
Hart (quadriceps) is probable for Saturday's contest against the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Hart made his return from a four-game absence Friday. He played 22 minutes and posted six points, five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block. He could be in line for more minutes and usage Saturday, as Brandon Ingram (hip) is doubtful.
Oct 29, 2021
Available off bench
Hart (quadriceps) is available to play in a reserve role for Friday's matchup with the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been sidelined since the Pelicans' season opener. He will return Friday, and his role coming off the bench indicates the team will ease him back into the swing of things.
Oct 28, 2021
Questionable vs. Sacramento
Hart (quadriceps) is questionable for Friday's matchup against the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Hart suffered a quad injury in the opener and hasn't played since, but there's some optimism that he could return Friday. If he does, he could be on a minutes limit and/or come off the bench.
Oct 27, 2021
Out as expected
Hart (quadriceps) is out Wednesday against the Hawks, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart will miss a fourth straight game as he continues to deal with right quadriceps tendinosis. His next chance to play is Friday against the Kings.
Oct 27, 2021
Doesn't expect to play Wednesday
Hart (quadriceps) said that he "probably won't" play Wednesday against Atlanta, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart will participate in on-court activities ahead of Wednesday's matchup and is considered a game-time decision, but it appears as though he'll require at least one more game before he's able to suit up. However, the 26-year-old feels as though he's getting closer to being cleared to play.
Oct 26, 2021
Questionable Wednesday
Hart (quadriceps) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Hart has missed the past three games after suffering the injury during the season opener. The forward will likely be a game-time call but if he's ultimately deemed unavailable, expect rookie Herbert Jones to once again see increased run.
Oct 25, 2021
Still out Monday
Hart (quadriceps) won't play Monday against the Timberwolves, Sam Perley of the Hornets' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart hasn't seen the court since suffering the quad injury in the season opener, and he'll miss his third straight game Monday. Coach Willie Green said the 26-year-old is still considered day-to-day.
Oct 24, 2021
Questionable for Monday
Hart (quad) is listed as questionable for Monday's game at Minnesota, Christian Clark of NOLA.com reports.
ANALYSIS
A quad tendon issue has kept Hart out of the last two games, and while it's no guarantee that he'll play Monday, he looks to at least be moving in the right direction. Rookie second-rounder Herbert Jones has started in Hart's place and would likely continue to do so if Hart misses any further time.
Oct 23, 2021
Out as expected
Hart (quadriceps) is out Saturday against the Timberwolves, Daniel Sallerson of the Pelicans Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was initially deemed doubtful, so this news comes as no surprise. Herbert Jones started in Hart's place Friday.
Oct 23, 2021
Deemed doubtful
Hart (quadriceps) has been listed as doubtful for Saturday's tilt with the Timberwolves, Daniel Sallerson of the Pelicans Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart is on track to miss his second consecutive game early in the season. He injured his quad on opening night and the team appears to be erring on the side of caution in order to avoid a lingering issue. Second-round pick, Herbert Jones, started in his place Friday.
Oct 22, 2021
Ruled out Friday
Hart (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Friday's contest against the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Hart suffered the injury during the season opener Wednesday, but the X-rays on his quadriceps came back negative, which gave him a chance to play against the Bulls. However, the Pelicans will elect to be cautious and shut him down for at least one game. During his absence, Trey Murphy and Garrett Temple could see increased minutes Friday.
Oct 21, 2021
Questionable Friday
Hart (quadriceps) is questionable for Friday's game against the Bulls, Christian Clark of NOLA.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was diagnosed with right quad tendinosis, but it's still possible he can play in the second game of the season. If not, more minutes could be available for Trey Murphy, Garrett Temple and other wing players.
Oct 21, 2021
Undergoes MRI
Hart was diagnosed with right quad tendinosis after he underwent an MRI on Thursday, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart underwent an X-ray that came back negative after he left Wednesday's opener against the 76ers. The team is still discussing treatment options following his diagnosis, so it's not yet clear whether he'll be available Friday against the Bulls.
Oct 20, 2021
X-rays return negative
Hart had X-rays on his right knee come back negative Wednesday, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart played only 10 minutes during Wednesday's season opener against eh 76ers before exiting with the injury, and he had five points (2-2 FG, 1-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist. The 26-year-old will be evaluated further Thursday, and for now should be considered questionable for Friday's matchup with the Bulls.
Oct 20, 2021
Will not return Wednesday
Hart (knee) will not return to Wednesday's opener against the 76ers, Erin Summers of Pelicans' broadcasting reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart left the game in the first half after injuring his knee during a dunk. He was able to stay in the game for a short time afterwards, but it is serious enough to keep him from re-entering the game. If the injury clears up, he could return Friday against the Bulls.
Oct 20, 2021
Questionable to return Wednesday
Hart exited Wednesday's game with a right knee injury and is questionable to return.
ANALYSIS
Hart appeared to be favoring his right knee following a dunk but managed to play a few possessions before eventually heading to the locker room. While the extent of the injury is unclear at this time, it looked like a non-contact knee injury. If Hart is ultimately ruled out, his next opportunity to return would come Friday against the Bulls, provided the knee injury isn't serious.
Oct 20, 2021
Starting Opening Night
Hart will start Wednesday's game against the Sixers, Pelicans studio analyst Daniel Sallerson reports.
ANALYSIS
The veteran wing did not start a single preseason game, but he'll get the nod alongside Brandon Ingram as the Pels start the season without Zion Williamson (foot). Devonte' Graham and Nickeil Alexander-Walker will occupy the starting backcourt, while Jonas Valanciunas starts at center.
Aug 16, 2021
Set to return to Pelicans
Hart and the Pelicans are nearing an agreement on a three-year, $38 million contract, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart is a restricted free agent, so the thought all along was that the Pelicans would eventually come to terms with the Villanova product on a new contract. It appears as though the two sides have settled on a deal that will pay Hart nearly $13 million annually through the 2023-24 campaign. In his second year with the Pelicans last season, Hart averaged 9.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.8 steals while shooting 32.6 percent from beyond the arc. With Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson firmly entrenched at both forward spots, Hart will likely serve as the Pelicans' sixth man, though it's possible he could push for the starting two-guard spot should the team opt to go with a bigger lineup.
Jul 31, 2021
Becomes restricted free agent
Hart became a restricted free agent Saturday, as he was extended a qualifying offer by the Pelicans, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart is a unique role player as a 6-foot-5 guard with excellent rebounding abilities. Last season, he saw 28.7 minutes per game and averaged 9.2 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists. However, he's not an especially efficient scorer, as he shot just 43.9 percent from the field, 32.6 percent from three and 77.5 percent from the free-throw line. Wherever he ends up, it would be surprising if he managed to crack 30 minutes per game. There's a chance he'll end up with a contender and see a reduced workload compared to the last couple of seasons.
May 17, 2021
Resumes shooting
Hart (thumb) said Monday that he's been cleared to resume light shooting on the court, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart was sidelined for the final 25 games of the Pelicans' season after requiring surgery on his right thumb, but he should be in store for a relatively normal offseason once he gains full medical clearance in the next few weeks. The 26-year-old wing wrapped up his second season in New Orleans with averages of 9.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 three-pointers in 28.7 minutes per game over his 47 appearances.
May 15, 2021
Season over
Hart (thumb) will not play Sunday against the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been sidelined since April 2 due to right thumb surgery and will miss the final game of the year. During his second season in New Orleans and his fourth in the NBA, Hart averaged 9.2 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 28.7 minutes.
May 5, 2021
Return timeline unclear
Hart is no longer sporting a splint over his surgically-repaired right thumb, but he remains without a clear timeline to return to the court, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Pelicans head coach Stan Van Gundy said April 24 that Hart likely wouldn't be ready to return to action until the final 10 days of the regular season, but that time has now arrived without New Orleans having provided an update on the 26-year-old. After Tuesday's loss to the Warriors, the Pelicans will have two days off before returning to action Friday in Philadelphia, so Hart would theoretically have a couple chances of test out his thumb in practice. Hart hasn't played since April 1 after being diagnosed with a torn UCL in his right thumb.
Apr 6, 2021
Out three-plus weeks after surgery
Hart (thumb) underwent surgery to repair a torn UCL in his right thumb and will be re-examined in three weeks.
ANALYSIS
This is a significant blow for the Pelicans, as Hart was providing sixth-man minutes on a team without great depth. He was seeing 28.7 minutes per game, and for at least three weeks, coach Stan Van Gundy will have to find players to fill that void. The result could be more minutes for Wes Iwundu, Kira Lewis and James Johnson.
Apr 2, 2021
Will miss significant time
Hart (thumb) is expected to miss significant time, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
An MRI on Hart revealed a torn UCL in his right thumb. While he played through the injury in Thursday's game versus the Magic, he will now be forced to miss an extended period of time. His absence figures to open up some playing time for the likes of Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Wes Iwundu and even Wenyen Gabriel off the bench.
Apr 2, 2021
Won't play Friday
Hart (thumb) is unavailable for Friday's game against the Hawks, Jim Eichenhofer of the Pelicans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart suffered the thumb injury during Thursday's loss to the Magic and will be sidelined for the second half of the back-to-back set. Zion Williamson (thumb), Brandon Ingram (toe) and Lonzo Ball (hip) are also sidelined, so New Orleans will have to get by without four of its top contributors.
Apr 2, 2021
Ties career-high with 17 boards
Hart (thumb) added 14 points (4-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 17 rebounds and five assists across 47 minutes during Thursday's overtime loss to the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Hart got the spot start and set a new personal best in minutes played as the Pelicans were missing Zion Williamson (thumb), Brandon Ingram (toe) and Lonzo Ball (hip). He has been a beast on the glass of late, grabbing double-digit boards in four of his last five contests. Whether he's starting or coming off the bench, Hart has been rather consistent on the glass for most of the season but has had spurts where he's failed to produce in the scoring department.
Apr 1, 2021
Not concerned about thumb
Hart (thumb) expects to play Friday versus Atlanta, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart had his right thumb wrapped when he met with media after Thursday's game against Orlando, but he downplayed the severity of his injury. The Pelicans haven't yet offered an official update regarding Hart's health, but it sounds like he's on the right track for Friday's game.
Apr 1, 2021
Gets start Thursday
Hart is starting Thursday's game against Orlando.
ANALYSIS
Hart will enter the starting five after just having logged a double-double in Monday's win over the Celtics. He's only had double-digit points in three of New Orleans' last five games, but the minutes uptick that comes with starting should increase Hart's fantasy floor substantially. The Pelicans will be without Brandon Ingram (toe), as well as Zion Williamson (thumb) and Lonzo Ball (hip).
Mar 29, 2021
Huge double-double in win
Hart played 32 minutes off the bench and totaled 15 points (5-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 15 rebounds, three assists and a block Monday in the victory over the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
That's three double-digit rebounding performances in his last four outings for Hart. While he's been a solid rebounder all season, Hart's shooting has been a different story. Though he made 62.5 percent of his shots Monday, his previous four games saw him go a combined 8-for-31 (25.8 percent). For the season, Hart is shooting just 44.1 percent from the floor and 33.1 percent from deep.
Mar 28, 2021
Grabs 10 boards in win
Hart had two points (0-7 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and 10 rebounds in Saturday's win over the Mavs.
ANALYSIS
Hart has had some ugly shooting lines of late, but he remains an excellent source of out-of-position rebounds, while typically adding some assists and steals. Since the break, Hart is averaging 8.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steal, though he's shooting just 40.0 percent from the field and 28.6 percent from deep.
Mar 23, 2021
Bizarre but strong line vs. Lakers
Hart posted two points (1-9 FG, 0-4 3Pt), 15 rebounds, five assists and five steals in 27 minutes against the Lakers in Tuesday's 128-111 victory.
ANALYSIS
Taking a page out of Draymond Green's book, Hart scored just two points but was fantastic in every other area of the game. Hart's bizarre line was the first instance in NBA history of a player scoring two or fewer points while adding 15 rebounds, five assists and five steals. He also didn't commit a turnover.
Mar 21, 2021
Just misses double-double off bench
Hart scored 12 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding nine rebounds, six assists and a steal in 29 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 113-108 win over the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
The 26-year-old fell just short of his sixth double-double of the season. Hart continues to provide impressive production on the glass for a wing player, and he's averaging 11.0 points, 7.6 boards, 2.6 assists and 1.2 threes through nine games in March.
Mar 17, 2021
Hauling in boards since break
Hart is averaging 10.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.3 assists in 26.0 minutes per game over the Pelicans' four contests since the All-Star break.
ANALYSIS
The 26-year-old has established himself as one of the NBA's better rebounding guards in his fourth season, and he's done well of late to supplement his production in that area. While not a prolific scorer or three-point shooter, Hart at least tends to get his points efficiently. He's knocked down exactly half of his shots from the field since the All-Star break, raising his season-long rate to 45.3 percent.
Mar 15, 2021
Nice all-around line in blowout
Hart finished Sunday's win over the Clippers with 13 points (5-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), six assists, five rebounds and one steal in 27 minutes.
ANALYSIS
The wing continues to play a consistent, 20-plus-minutes-per-night role, and while he doesn't have a ton of upside, he's a justifiable, low-end starter in most fantasy formats when the Pelicans are on a four-game week. Over his last 15 games, Hart is averaging 10.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 three-pointers in 29.2 minutes.
Mar 5, 2021
Logs big minutes in loss
Hart produced 12 points (3-9 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), eight rebounds and three assists across 41 minutes in Thursday's 103-93 loss to the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
With Zion Willamson sidelined, Hart jumped into the starting five to log his third start of the season. He topped the team with 41 minutes on the floor, but he struggled to get things going as a scorer. Hart was able to contribute efficiently off the glass with eight rebounds, but his shot was ice-cold, especially from beyond the arc.
Mar 4, 2021
Starting Thursday's game
Hart will start in Thursday's game against Miami.
ANALYSIS
With both Zion Williamson (toe) and JJ Redick (heel) on the sidelines, Hart should be in line for a bigger role in the team's last game before the All-Star break. Given that the team has a week off prior to its next game, Hart will likely return to the bench after the break.
Feb 28, 2021
Struggles with shot in defeat
Hart had two points (0-8 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and one steal in 31 minutes during Saturday's 117-114 loss to San Antonio.
ANALYSIS
The 25-year-old had a strong game on the glass with nine rebounds, but his shooting struggles prevented any scoring production. Hart is averaging 8.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists off the bench over the past six games.
Feb 21, 2021
Stuffs stat sheet in victory
Hart scored 17 points (5-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT) and contributed 10 rebounds, three blocks and one steal in the Pelicans' 120-115 overtime victory over the Celtics on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Hart played a huge role in the largest comeback in franchise history for the Pelicans. The guard came away with his fifth double-double of the season and did a terrific job defending the Celtics' talented wing scorers. While Hart's scoring is down a bit from a season ago, he's averaging a career-high 7.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.
Feb 16, 2021
Sniffs double-double off bench
Hart chipped in with 27 points (10-16 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds and two assists across 32 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's win over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been dealing with back spasms lately but he hasn't missed any time as of yet, and the injury doesn't seem to be affecting his play of late. Hart has struggled with consistency at times due to his bench role, but it's worth noting he has scored at least 20 points twice already -- with both games coming over his last five appearances.
Feb 16, 2021
Available to play Tuesday
Hart (back) will play in Tuesday's game against the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Hart has been dealing with back spasms lately but he hasn't missed any time as of yet. Following an explosive 20-point, 17-rebound effort on Feb. 9, Hart has cooled off over the last three games with averages of 7.3 points on 42.9 percent shooting, 4.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.0 triple per game in that stretch.
Feb 15, 2021
Likely to play Tuesday
Hart (back) is probable for Tuesday's game against Memphis.
ANALYSIS
Hart still appears to be affected by back spasms although he played through them during the Pelicans' loss to the Pistons on Sunday. Hart logged 23 minutes and posted eight points and will likely be deemed active barring any major setbacks prior to tipoff Tuesday.
Feb 14, 2021
Available against Pistons
Hart (back) is available for Sunday's game against the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Hart was considered questionable prior to Sunday's contest, so it's not very surprising to see him available against the Pistons. He should continue to play a considerable role off the bench for New Orleans.
Feb 14, 2021
Upgraded to probable
Hart (back) is probable for Sunday's game at Detroit.
ANALYSIS
The 25-year-old was originally considered questionable due to back spasms, but he's on track to play Sunday. Hart is averaging 10.1 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 29.0 minutes off the bench over the past seven games, and he should continue in the role against the Pistons.
Feb 13, 2021
Questionable vs. Detroit
Hart is questionable for Sunday's game against the Pistons due to back spasms.
ANALYSIS
Hart has played a sizeable role off the bench for the Pelicans this season, and he's averaged 8.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 28.0 minutes. If he ends up sidelined Sunday, JJ Redick and Nickeil Alexander-Walker (ankle) could see extra run.
Feb 10, 2021
Grabs career high 17 boards
Hart recorded 20 points (8-16 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 17 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 40 minutes during Tuesday's 130-101 win over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Tuesday marked one of Hart's best performances as a pro, as he racked up a career-high 17 boards in addition to his other quality box score stats. Hart's scoring has been inconsistent throughout his career, but he's been an above-average rebounder for a guard. For his career, the 6-foot-5 Villanova product is averaging 7.2 rebounds per 36 minutes.
Feb 9, 2021
Available Tuesday
Hart (back) will play Tuesday against the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
The 25-year-old was considered questionable with back spasms, but he won't end up missing his first game of the season. Hart is averaging 8.0 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 27.4 minutes through 22 games.
Feb 8, 2021
Listed questionable Tuesday
Hart is considered questionable for Tuesday's game against Houston due to back spasms, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart's role has held steady this season, as he's averaging 27.4 minutes per game off the bench, which he's translated to 8.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 three-pointers per game. It's possible the back issue could end up costing him a few games, but he'll receive treatment over the next 24 hours in hopes of being active Tuesday night. Hart is coming off of a tough shooting night (0-5 FG, 0-5 3PT) in Saturday's win over Memphis, though he did pull down eight rebounds in 28 minutes.
Feb 2, 2021
Grabs 13 rebounds off bench
Hart contributed 15 points (6-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, four assists and two steals across 32 minutes off the bench in Monday's loss against the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Hart's best play of the night was a thunderous putback dunk in the second half, but he also chipped in with a season-high 13 rebounds. Despite being a guard, Hart has grabbed 10 or more boards in five games already and offers decent all-around production off the bench for the Pelicans, but his numbers aren't consistent enough to make him a viable fantasy asset on most nights -- especially since he has scored in double digits in just two of his last 10 appearances.
Jan 30, 2021
Contributes off bench
Hart logged 15 points (5-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one steal over 25 minutes in Friday's 131-126 win over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Hart was held in check over the past several games, but he was efficient against Milwaukee on Friday and led the team's bench players with 15 points. He saw a slight downtick in rebounds in the win, but he put up his highest scoring total since Jan. 8.
Jan 22, 2021
Key contributor off bench
Hart had seven points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in Thursday's 129-118 loss to the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
After beginning the Pelicans' previous road trip by starting in back-to-back games at Los Angeles, Hart was relegated to the bench so Eric Bledsoe could rejoin their starting lineup. The upside is that Hart has still provided serviceable value, averaging 6.7 points and 6.0 rebounds across 25.0 minutes since then.
Jan 17, 2021
Moving back to bench
Hart will move to the bench for Sunday's game against the Kings,
ANALYSIS
Hart made a pair of spot starts in the Pels' last two games, but he'll move back to the bench Sunday as Eric Bledsoe rejoins the starting lineup. Hart finished Friday's loss to the Lakers with seven points, six rebounds and four assists in 29 minutes.
Jan 13, 2021
Starting versus Clippers
Hart will start Wednesday's game against the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
The 25-year-old will join the starting five for the first time this season since Lonzo Ball (knee), Eric Bledsoe (eye) and Zion Williamson (COVID-19 protocols) are unavailable in Los Angeles. Hart is averaging 8.4 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 28.1 minutes this season, but he should be more involved offensively Wednesday.
Jan 9, 2021
Strong effort off bench
Hart scored 19 points (6-8 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT) while adding eight rebounds, two assists and a steal in 27 minutes off the bench during Friday's 118-110 loss to the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
While he fell just short of double-digit boards for the third straight game, Hart compensated with his best scoring performance of the season, including a season-high four made threes, just one game after he failed to score at all against the Thunder. The 25-year-old guard has been remarkably effective on the glass so far, averaging a career-high 8.6 boards through nine games, but his inconsistent offensive game has limited his fantasy utility.
Jan 7, 2021
Grabs 10 rebounds
Hart went scoreless (0-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt) but grabbed 10 rebounds, delivered one assist and added three steals across 28 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's loss against the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Hart is yet to score more than 12 points this season and has reached double digits in scoring just three times, but he has grabbed 10 or more rebounds four times already. One of the best rebounding guards in the league, Hart is averaging 8.6 boards per game for the Pelicans -- though his lack of production in other categories certainly limits his upside in most leagues.
Dec 31, 2020
Records double-double off bench
Hart amassed 12 points (3-9 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and one steal over 34 minutes in Thursday's 113-80 win over Oklahoma City.
ANALYSIS
Hart was quiet in the Pelicans' last game, but he posted his second double-double in the last three contests during Thursday's win. The 25-year-old has come off the bench in each of the first five matchups of the season, but he's averaging 29.0 minutes per game during that time.
Dec 17, 2020
Probable for Friday
Hart (ankle) is probable for Friday's preseason game against the Bucks, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart is dealing with an apparently minor sprain as he played during Tuesday's preseason contest and it doesn't look like it will hold him out for Friday's game. Hart will likely move to the bench with the return of Eric Bledsoe.
Dec 15, 2020
Collects four steals in spot start
Hart totaled 11 points (4-10 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, four steals and one assist in 33 minutes during Monday's 114-92 victory over Miami.
ANALYSIS
Hart moved into the starting lineup with Eric Bledsoe (undisclosed) in street clothes. As is typically the case, Hart put up meaningful production on both ends of the floor. He is certainly not going to be this good on most nights but he is somewhat of a 'glue-guy' for the Pelicans and his versatility should afford him meaningful minutes, even once he shifts back to the bench.
Dec 14, 2020
Starting Monday
Hart is in the starting lineup for Monday's preseason game against the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Eric Bledsoe (undisclosed) and JJ Redick (undisclosed) are both out Monday, so Hart will enter the starting five. The 25-year-old averaged 10.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 blcok in 27.0 minutes for the Pelicans last season and is expected to come off the bench once the team is at full strength.
Aug 14, 2020
Double-doubles in loss
Hart went for 23 points (7-14 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 14 rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block in 36 minutes during Thursday's loss to the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Hart made the most of his two starting opportunities in the final two games of the regular season, as he racked up 26 points, 24 rebounds, seven assists and three steals in those two contests. He ends the 2019-20 regular season with averages of 10.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 27.0 minutes per game across 65 appearances.
Aug 13, 2020
Shakes off injury
Hart (knee) will play and start in Thursday's season finale against the Magic, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart came into the contest as a game-time call, but as evidenced by this news, he won't miss the final game of the season. With Jrue Holiday (elbow), Zion Williamson (knee) and Brandon Ingram (knee) already ruled out, Hart could end up seeing plenty of action if he sees meaningful minutes.
Aug 12, 2020
Questionable for finale
Hart is questionable for Thursday's seeding game finale against the Magic due to right knee soreness.
ANALYSIS
With Jrue Holiday (elbow), Zion Williamson (knee) and Brandon Ingram (knee) already ruled out, Hart could end up seeing plenty of action if he does take the court. If he's out, more minutes should funnel to E'Twaun Moore, Frank Jackson and plenty of other backcourt and wing options.
Aug 11, 2020
Starting Tuesday
Hart will start Tuesday's matchup against the Kings.
ANALYSIS
With Brandon Ingram (knee) out, Hart will draw his 15th start of the season. In his previous nods, he's averaged 12.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.4 steals in 31.9 minutes.
Aug 3, 2020
Productive effort off bench
Hart registered 15 points (5-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and seven rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench during Monday's 109-99 win over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Hart had scored in double digits just three times in his last 10 games dating back to Feb. 23, but he delivered a strong performance here. Hart has scored in double digits in two of three of New Orleans' games since the restart, and he continues to produce offensively while coming off the bench on a regular basis.
Jul 28, 2020
Logs 20 minutes in return
Hart (face) collected seven points (2-5 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and two assists in 20 minutes during Monday's 124-103 scrimmage win over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Hart rejoined the rotation after missing Saturday's scrimmage against the Nuggets following a minor dental procedure. Hart has proven himself to be an excellent utility player for the Pelicans, filling in at various positions and accepting his wide range of roles. He can be somewhat inconsistent, which is partly a product of the team's depth when at full strength. Nevertheless, Hart does enough to earn a sizable chunk of minutes more often than not.
Jul 25, 2020
Sidelined Saturday
Hart is not expected to play in Saturday's scrimmage versus the Nuggets after undergoing a minor dental procedure.
ANALYSIS
Hart was also not present at Saturday morning's shootaround. The situation is not considered serious, and barring any setbacks, he should be good to go for Thursday's bubble opener against the Jazz
Mar 7, 2020
Big double-double
Hart generated 19 points (6-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block in 28 minutes off the bench during New Orleans' 110-104 victory over Miami.
ANALYSIS
Hart's 19 points represented his highest total since mid-December and his third-best showing of the season. His playing time has fluctuated greatly, but he is a consistent rebounder for a guard and the kind of player that could occupy a fantasy roster spot over a struggling forward. Hart now has nine double-doubles this year.
Mar 1, 2020
Plays 22 minutes in loss to Lakers
Hart contributed seven points (3-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt), six rebounds and three assists in 22 minutes during Sunday's loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Interestingly, after J.J. Redick (hamstring) went down in their last outing, Hart somehow saw even fewer minutes than normal, with E'Twaun Moore receiving the bulk of Redick's vacated court time. It may be a short-lived replacement decision, but Hart only saw 22 minutes in this one, which is significantly less than the 27.7 minutes per game he's averaging on the season. Nevertheless, Hart has seen his fantasy value surge with the Pelicans, climbing into standard-league relevance with career-highs virtually across the board.
Feb 8, 2020
Set to start Saturday
Hart is expected to start Saturday against the Pacers, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Brandon Ingram (ankle) is unavailable Saturday, opening a spot in the starting five for the Pelicans. Hart has started 11 games this season and averaged 12.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists over 33.0 minutes in those contests.
Feb 5, 2020
Another quality showing off bench
Hart produced eight points (3-9 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven boards, four assists, three steals and one block in 29 minutes off the bench Tuesday in the Pelicans' 120-108 loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
A number of the Pelicans' supporting-cast players have noticed role reductions following Zion Williamson's season debut Jan. 22, but Hart hasn't been hurt too much. Though he's only reached 30 minutes in one of the Pelicans' seven games with Williamson, Hart is still averaging 10.0 points, 8.0 boards, 1.4 assists, 1.6 three-pointers, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks over that stretch while shooting 43.9 percent from the field and 90 percent from the free-throw line. That's enough to keep him in consideration for a roster spot in most 12-team leagues.
Feb 2, 2020
Collects 16 points, 10 boards
Hart had 16 points (5-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 30 minutes during Sunday's 117-109 loss to the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Hart has logged consecutive double-doubles and now sits at seven through 43 appearances this season. He's already on the verge of matching his career high in that category (eight), which he managed in his rookie campaign. Sporting career bests in scoring, rebounding, threes, steals and minutes, Hart has proven himself to be a solid option in deep leagues.
Jan 24, 2020
Strong showing in Friday's defeat
Hart went off for 15 points (6-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block in 28 minutes during Friday's 113-106 loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Hart had been listed as probable due to a sore left ankle and was able to give it a go as expected. He earned the fourth-most minutes for the Pelicans for the second straight contest and turned in a terrific stat line in this one, posting his fifth double-double through 39 appearances this season. Hart has surpassed his double-double total from last season, and he has a decent chance to top his career-best eight double-doubles, which he accomplished as a rookie back in 2017-18. With that being said, there will be no shortage of competition for playing time, especially if New Orleans stays relatively healthy in the second half of the campaign and doesn't enter sell mode at the trade deadline.
Jan 24, 2020
Available to play
Hart (ankle) will play Friday against the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Hart will play through a sore left ankle. This month, he's averaging 10.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 steals in 30.1 minutes. However, the return of Zion Williamson could cut into Hart's playing time moving forward.
Jan 23, 2020
Probable with sore ankle
Hart (ankle) is considered probable for Friday's game against the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
All signs point to Hart playing through the issue, which he's been battling for several days now. The Villanova product saw 25 minutes of action Wednesday night, finishing with 10 points, five rebounds, one assist and one block.
Jan 23, 2020
Scores 10 versus Spurs
Hart provided 10 points (3-6 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 121-117 loss to the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Hart had been listed as questionable due to a sore left ankle but was able to take the court. He earned the fourth-most minutes on the team and managed a decent line, but Hart may have a hard time earning such significant minutes going forward with New Orleans being closer to full strength.
Jan 22, 2020
Available Wednesday
Hart (ankle) will be available for Wednesday's game against San Antonio.
ANALYSIS
Hart will take the court despite nursing left ankle soreness he initially picked up in Monday's game against Memphis. The 24-year-old wing's having a successful season so far and is posting averages of 10.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 steals in 28.5 minutes per game.
Jan 21, 2020
Questionable with ankle
Hart is considered questionable for Wednesday's game against the Spurs due to a sore left ankle, Andrew Lopez of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart is a new addition to the injury report, but it comes after he was limited to 17 minutes in Monday's win over Memphis. The Pels will wait to see how he feels Wednesday morning before updating his status.
Jan 21, 2020
Produces off bench
Hart had 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-4 3PT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 17 minutes off the bench during Monday's 126-116 win at Memphis.
ANALYSIS
Hart returned to the bench after starting seven straight games and scored in double digits for the fifth time in his last nine contests. He can fill the stat sheet on any given night due to his ability to impact the game on both ends of the court even if he doesn't score much, but he needs to play a steady amount of minutes to have upside outside of deeper formats.
Jan 20, 2020
Back to bench
Hart will come off the bench Monday against the Grizzlies, Chris Herrington of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart will shift back to a reserve role with Jrue Holiday set to return from a seven-game absence. As the Pelicans continue to get healthier, Hart -- who is averaging 10.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 32.1 minutes per game this month -- could be one of the players whose minutes and production are most affected.
Jan 11, 2020
Records double-double in win
Hart scored 13 points (5-10 FG, 3-7 3Pt) while adding 10 rebounds and three assists in 37 minutes during Friday's 123-111 win over the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Making his third straight start due to Jrue Holiday's elbow injury, Hart picked up his fourth double-double of the season. The third-year guard has been a solid complementary piece for the Pelicans, but he could be one of the players whose minutes and production are most affected once the roster dominoes fall to make room for the eventual debut of Zion Williamson (knee).
Jan 9, 2020
Scores 13 points as starter
Hart had 13 points (4-8 FG, 2-5 3PT, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, three steals and one assist in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 123-108 win over the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Hart has started back-to-back games, and he has averaged 10.5 points and 4.5 rebounds while shooting 46.7 percent during those two contests. He should remain as part of the starting unit while Jrue Holiday (elbow) remains sidelined, making him a decent streaming asset across most formats.
Nov 27, 2019
Ready for Wednesday
Hart (knee) is available for Wednesday's game against the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Hart was upgraded to probable earlier Wednesday but still had to make it through pregame warmups unscathed before being cleared. The 24-year-old hasn't seen game action since Nov. 11, so he seems unlikely to reach the 27.7 minutes he averaged in 10 games prior to the left knee sprain.
Nov 27, 2019
Upgraded to probable
Hart (knee) is trending in the right direction ahead of Wednesday's game against the Lakers, though he remains a game-time decision, Scott Kushner of The New Orleans Advocate reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart remains a game-time decision, making him a tenuous DFS play. He's missed the past seven games due to a left knee sprain but averaged 12.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.2 threes and 1.4 steals in27.7 minutes prior to suffering the injury.
Nov 26, 2019
Receives questionable tag
Hart (knee) is considered questionable for Wednesday's game against the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
It was reported earlier Tuesday that Hart is expected to play Wednesday, but the questionable designation makes his availability appear less certain. The 24-year-old hasn't seen game action since suffering the left knee strain Nov. 11.
Nov 26, 2019
On track to play Wednesday
Hart (knee) is expected to play Wednesday against the Lakers, though a final decision won't be made until closer to tipoff, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart hasn't seen any game action since Nov. 11 due to a left knee strain, though it appears he's close to a return. If all goes well in shootaround and warmups, there's a good chance he'll be out there Wednesday night.
Nov 24, 2019
Won't play Sunday
Hart (knee) will not be available for Sunday's game against the Clippers, Pelicans studio host Daniel Sallerson reports.
ANALYSIS
Hart came into the day questionable, but a sprained left knee will ultimately cost the third-year wing his seventh consecutive contest. Prior to the injury, he was off to a great start, averaging 12.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.2 made threes in just under 28 minutes per contest.
Nov 24, 2019
Questionable Sunday
Hart (knee) is considered questionable for Sunday's game against the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Hart didn't play the front end of the back-to-back set Saturday but still has a chance to suit up Sunday. The 24-year-old has missed the last six games due to a left knee sprain.

Sidelined Sunday
Hart (knee) is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Hart will be withheld from a third straight game while he battles left knee and ankle sprains. Hart is dealing with sprains to his left knee and ankle, which will cause him to miss his second consecutive game. Ruled out Thursday
Hart (knee/ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Clippers.

Productive on second unit
Hart (knee) turned in 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt), four rebounds and three assists across 19 minutes during the Pelicans' 127-125 preseason win over the Bulls on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Hart was able to shake off the knee soreness that had plagued him following the preseason opener and put together a solid showing off the bench. The third-year guard is expected to play a key role in the backcourt rotationn after coming over as one of the lesser-ballyhooed pieces of the blockbuster trade with the Lakers. The 24-year-old will particularly look to bounce back with his efficiency after seeing his shooting percentage drop to 40.7 percent last season after he'd posted a 46.9 percent success rate from the floor during his rookie campaign.

Available to play Wednesday
Hart (knee) is listed as available to play in Wednesday's tilt against Chicago.
ANALYSIS
Hart was banged up in Monday's preseason opener and entered Wednesday's tilt against the Bulls with soreness in his right knee. Clearly, the issue isn't too major, though Hart could still see a decrease to the 16 minutes he saw in the opener if coach Alvin Gentry decides to be cautious.
