San Antonio has only one more contest this week, but Johnson should nonetheless be rostered everywhere.

Since the start of February (16 games), Johnson has averaged 19.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 33.0 minutes per game. He'll look to continue his strong play Wednesday against the Thunder.

The third-year forward finished with his lowest scoring output since Feb. 3 but managed his highest rebound total of the month. Johnson had scored a career-best 32 points in his previous appearance Friday.

Johnson does not typically provide value outside of scoring and rebounding, two things he has been able to deliver handily over the past few weeks. Despite there being limited upside, Johnson remains a player worth rostering in 12-team formats moving forward.

He's averaging 17.1 points while shooting 52.4 percent from the field in that span.

Johnson was extra efficient from the floor Friday. His four triples were his second highest total of the season. Since returning from a one-game absence, the third-year forward has averaged 19.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists and and 3.3 triples across 28.2 minutes in four games.

Johnson didn't do much outside of scoring, but those figures were enough to represent a strong fantasy performance for the Olympic gold medalist. Johnson has been one of San Antonio's most consistent players this season and has routinely scored in double digits, though reaching the 20-point mark has been more of a challenge for him. The former Kentucky standout has reached that tally just six times in 2021-22.

A decent game from beyond the arc and a few additional boards allow an increase in value occasionally.

Johnson closed Monday's 116-99 victory over Washington with 13 points (6-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt), five rebounds and two assists over 35 minutes.

Johnson remained efficient in the victory, although he experienced a slight regression from his excellent double-double performance against the Celtics over the weekend. With Jakob Poeltl back in the fold, Johnson can take more shots and pay less attention to defending the interior. There's a notable increase in shot volume for Johnson since Poeltl's return.

Johnson had 17 points (7-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 14 rebounds, two assists and one steal across 38 minutes during Friday's 96-88 win over the Celtics.

Johnson was very good for the Spurs as they snapped their losing streak with a much-needed victory over the Celtics. Despite averaging 15.1 points per game, Johnson has struggled to put up consistent 12-team value. He can be a nice source of points and boards, as evidenced in this one, and for some, that is enough to justify having on a standard league roster.

Johnson racked up 12 points (2-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), four rebounds and three assists across 27 minutes during Thursday's 115-90 loss to the Timberwolves.

While Johnson's numbers have been all over the map during the first month of the season, he'll occasionally pop with an excellent number as he did against the Lakers earlier in the week. Johnson and Dejounte Murray have been critical to the Spurs' success on offense, and more consistency from Johnson will be essential as they try to keep up in the Western Conference.

Johnson posted his best totals of the season in the loss. His proficiency from beyond the arc was encouraging, as shot accuracy has held him back through the first few weeks of the season. Johnson is viable in all formats as an all-around contributor but is especially productive as a rebounder.

Johnson reached the 15-point plateau for the fourth time over his last five games, but the fact that he needed 14 shots to do so is not encouraging by any means. The Olympic medalist has been one of the Spurs' go-to players on offense this season, but he has struggled in terms of efficiency and is only shooting 44.6 percent from the field and 24.1 percent from three-point range -- both numbers that would represent career-low marks for him.

Johnson finished Sunday's loss to the Thunder with 22 points (9-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block.

While the Spurs struggled to get anything going for most of the night, Johnson led the way with his fourth 20-point game of the season. The third-year forward has taken a clear step forward as a scorer, but he's struggled from three-point range, hitting just 3-of-22 attempts over his first 10 contests. Nonetheless, Johnson has been a steady source of points, rebounds and steals (1.1 SPG).

Johnson failed to score in double digits for the first time this season. After a strong start, Johnson's season averages have dipped to 15.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists through seven games. He has grown as a scorer from year two to year three, but Johnson is shooting a brutal 11.8 percent from three thus far. He'll look to bounce back Wednesday versus Dallas.

Johnson recorded 11 points (2-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 7-8 FT), six rebounds and an assist across 23 minutes in Tuesday's overtime loss to the Lakers.

Johnson had scored at least 15 points in each of his first three games of the campaign, but he took a step back in this one and had major issues with his shooting, which led to a disappointing stat line. However, Johnson should remain one of San Antonio's go-to players on offense as long as he's healthy, and his workload won't be affected by just one subpar game. He's averaging 18.3 points while shooting 50 percent from the field through his first four appearances.

Johnson had 20 points (9-18 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three assists, two rebounds and a steal across 29 minutes in Saturday's loss to the Bucks.

Johnson has scored at least 20 points in each of his last two games, and while it's still early in the season, all signs point toward the third-year pro being the Spurs' go-to player on offense going forward. He's averaging 20.7 points per game while shooting 56.3 percent from the field so far.

Johnson had 27 points (12-18 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, three steals and two assists across 37 minutes in Friday's loss against the Nuggets.

Johnson carried the Spurs offensively in this one, but his efforts were not enough to avoid the defeat against one of the biggest contenders in the Western Conference. This was a far better performance compared to what he did in the season opener, though, as he had scored 15 points against the Magic on Wednesday.

Johnson totalled 18 points (8-18 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds and two assists through 27 minutes of the loss to the Pistons on Wednesday.

Johnson had a prominent role in the offense, ending the game tied for the most field goal attempts on the team. This is promising for his fantasy stock as the 21-year-old is entering his second season as a starter and is likely to have a larger workload as the Spurs begin a rebuild and focus on their young core such as Johnson.

Johnson is set to replace Bradley Beal on Team USA, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

After playing with the Olympic team as a part of the USA Select group, Johnson has now been promoted to play for the Senior National Team. Johnson will unite with his coach Gregg Popovich, following a strong sophomore season with the Spurs. The forward will be added to Team USA's roster along with JaVale McGee.

With DeMar DeRozan and a host of other starters on the bench, Johnson's value increased significantly in the short-handed scenario. The Spurs should sit their starters again in their rematch with the Suns, and since Johnson is a regular figure in the first unit, he may see his minutes curtailed.

Johnson has produced inconsistently throughout the campaign, though he is still averaging 12.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.6 steals per contest.

He took advantage of the fact that DeMar DeRozan was rested to enjoy a bigger role on offense, and the second-year forward has been productive of late with averages of 15.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 steals per game over his last six appearances.

Johnson posted 14 points (5-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-4 FT), nine rebounds and two assists across 34 minutes in Saturday's win at New Orleans.

Johnson has scored in double digits in five of his last seven games but hasn't registered a double-double since April 5, when he posted 13 points and 10 rebounds against the Cavaliers. Johnson's role on offense has diminished a bit, and he has scored more than 15 points just once over his last 12 outings.

Johnson had 10 points (4-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt), seven rebounds, three steals and two assists across 30 minutes in Thursday's win over the Pistons.

Johnson had a woeful shooting performance and needed 12 shots to reach double-digit scoring figures, but he supplemented that with a strong effort across the board -- he made his presence felt both as a playmaker and on the glass. The shooting woes could've been nothing more than an off day for the second-year forward, as he's shooting an even 50 percent from the field over his last six appearances -- while putting up 11.3 points per game during that span.

Johnson collected 14 points (6-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds and two assists in a 109-94 victory over the Pacers on Monday.

Johnson scored in double figures for the second consecutive game thanks to some efficient shooting. Over his last four contests, the forward has averaged 12.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per game and shot 58.3 percent from the field and 40.0 percent from three.

Johnson scored 17 points (7-11 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT) and added one steal over 29 minutes in a 111-85 victory over the Suns on Saturday.

Johnson was able to take on a more prominent role offensively with a host of Spurs regulars resting Saturday. He finished with his highest point total since April 3, though he didn't add much in the way of peripheral stats. Johnson has emerged as San Antonio's starting power forward this season and is averaging 12.7 points and 6.5 boards per game.

Johnson registered 13 points (6-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-4 FT), 10 rebounds and an assist across 27 minutes in Monday's loss against the Cavaliers.

Johnson was one of three starters that scored in double digits for the Spurs, but he also recorded his second straight double-double -- a feat he has accomplished just eight times all year long and it was also the first time he does it on consecutive games. Johnson was unable to sustain the pace of his blistering start to the season, though, and now he's scored in double digits in just four of the Spurs' last nine games.

Johnson provided 20 points (7-10 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 10 rebounds and a blocked shot across 31 minutes in Saturday's 139-133 loss to the Pacers.

Saturday marked an impressive milestone for Johnson. He became only the third player in franchise history to record over 700 points and 330 rebounds in their first 60 games, joining David Robinson and Tim Duncan in that achievement. That's elite company for Johnson, who started to come into his own In the Orlando bubble and maintained his hold on a starting role coming into his sophomore campaign.

Johnson finished with 17 points (7-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight boards and four assists in 34 minutes of a 120-113 loss to the Bucks on Saturday.

Johnson turned in another solid performance, following his 20/20 performance by leading his team in rebounding once again. The second year player seems to have rebounded from a slow start to the month and has returned to the form that has him third on the team in both scoring and rebounds. He'll face the Hornets on Monday.

Johnson tallied 23 points (9-19 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 21 rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and one steal in 39 minutes during Friday's 116-110 win against the Cavaliers.

The 21-year-old had a career night, pulling down a career-high 21 rebounds. Johnson has started the last six games, averaging 13.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks while shooting 59 percent from the field in that span. He's also averaging 28.3 minutes over that six-game span. Johnson should see 30-plus minutes per game moving forward as the Spurs fight to stay in playoff contention.

Johnson scored 14 points (5-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-6 FT) with three rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in a 106-99 victory over the Bulls on Wednesday.

Johnson shot efficiently across his 30 minutes of action despite missing some time in the first half after rolling his ankle. The forward has started each game since the All-Star break and has averaged 11.2 points and 3.4 rebounds over that stretch. Johnson's shooting percentages are much lower than a season ago, but he is averaging more points, rebounds and assists per game due to more opportunities and playing time.

Johnson returned to Wednesday's game against the Bulls after suffering an apparent right ankle injury, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.

The 21-year-old headed to the locker room immediately after rolling his right ankle during the first quarter, but he returned to the court midway through the second period. It doesn't appear to be a serious issue with Johnson retaking the court relatively quickly for the Spurs.

Johnson compiled 12 points (4-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and four rebounds in 22 minutes during Wednesday's 115-104 loss to Dallas.

Johnson shifted back into the starting lineup but is clearly still underdone when it comes to his conditioning. It is likely going to be a few games before we see Johnson putting up numbers similar to those he was delivering earlier in the season. The path to minutes is reasonably clear for Johnson after it was announced LaMarcus Aldridge would be parting ways with the team and so he should be on a roster in most 12-team formats.

Johnson will start in Wednesday's game against the Mavericks, Dan Weiss of Fox Sports Southwest reports.

Johnson will make his first start since Feb. 14 after returning to the court on a limited basis just prior to the All-Star break. He is averaging 14.1 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 29.1 minutes per game this season, and he's expected to be fully available going forward after overcoming COVID-19.

Johnson has been playing with a minutes restriction in his last games following his COVID-19 diagnosis and has averaged 16.5 minutes per game in his last two appearances while also missing three games in a row. He's expected to be fully available and healthy after the All-Star break, though, so he should return to the starting lineup when the Spurs visit the Mavericks on Mar. 10.

This was a strong bounce-back performance for the second-year pro, and although he didn't do much aside from scoring, he certainly played a key role in the Spurs' win here. For what is worth, Johnson has scored in double digits in all but six games this season.

Johnson was expected to take on an expanded role with LaMarcus Aldridge (hip) and Rudy Gay (hip) out, but he struggled and was kept off the floor for most of the game. Chances are, this will be a blip for Johnson, who was previously on an 11-game streak of double-digit scoring where he averaged 16.7 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 30.1 minutes.

Johnson was undoubtedly the Spurs' best player on Monday, leading both the scoring and the rebounding count. Despite a few ups-and-downs, Johnson has been a solid mid-round asset thus far, coming in as the 79th ranked player in standard leagues. His role is about as secure as they come and so you simply plug him in and let him go to work on a nightly basis.

Johnson recorded 19 points (9-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt), nine rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block across 32 minutes in Friday's win over the Nuggets.

Johnson ended just one rebound away from recording his third double-double of the last four games, and his sixth of the campaign. He has taken a major leap this season compared to his rookie year, and Johnson is firmly entrenched as a steady source of production for the Spurs on both ends of the court. He has scored 10 or more points in all but four games this season while also grabbing seven or more boards in all but six contests. He's not going to carry the Spurs offensively on most nights, but he has been remarkably consistent for a sophomore.

Johnson registered 18 points (9-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 10 rebounds, an assist and a steal across 31 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Celtics.

Johnson displayed a few inconsistencies earlier this season but seems to be trending in the right direction of late, and he has scored 10 or more points in eight straight contests -- he is averaging 16.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game during that eight-game span. The Spurs -- and fantasy managers alike -- can certainly use those levels of consistency moving forward, as that seems to be the next step in Johnson's development.

Johnson posted 17 points (7-14 FG, 0-3 3PT, 3-4 FT), 14 rebounds and three assists in 35 minutes during the 122-117 loss to Dallas on Friday.

Johnson has been apart of the chatter through the league this season and did not disappoint in the loss Friday. The forward is a high-end prospect for San Antonio and this is his first official season with the Spurs. He has been an excellent addition for the most part, barring a few outliers at the start of the season. He does not move the ball around, but is constantly ripping attempts and is impressive in the paint. His minutes have dropped recently, but will continue to be viable moving forward.

Johnson had 12 points (2-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 8-11 FT), eight rebounds and three assists in Wednesday's 121-99 loss to the Warriors.

Thursday's game marked the first time he missed 10 shots in one since Dec. 26. After posting his career-high 29 points Thursday, Johnson took a step back across San Antonio's next three games. Johnson averaged 11.0 points on a 32.1 shot percentage in that three-game span.

Johnson scored 29 points (12-16 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-5 FT) and grabbed six rebounds in a loss to Houston on Thursday.

Johnson entered the contest averaging only 10.4 points over his previous five games, but he had his shot working against Houston, drilling 12 of 16 field-goal attempts en route to a career-high 29 points. It was Johnson's third game of 20-plus points this season and his first since Jan. 3. The former Kentucky Wildcat is enjoying a strong sophomore campaign, averaging 14.8 points and 7.3 rebounds while shooting 48.2 percent from the field.

Johnson finished with 18 points (6-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds, two steals and one assist in 39 minutes Tuesday in the Spurs' 112-102 win over the Thunder.

The second-year forward bounced back from a three-point showing in Sunday's loss to the Timberwolves to finish second on the team in scoring behind Lonnie Walker (24 points). Johnson has thus far justified the sleeper buzz he generated heading into the season, as he's averaging 13.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.2 treys in 32.2 minutes per game through his first 11 outings.

Johnson put up 17 points (6-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and one steal over 42 minutes in Saturday's 125-122 overtime win over the Timberwolves.

After back-to-back dud performances, Johnson bounced back Saturday, falling just shy of his third double-double of the season. The second-year Kentucky product set a career-high with his 42 minutes and has now gone over 30 minutes played in six of nine games.

Johnson registered 22 points (10-16 FG, 2-2 FT) while adding seven rebounds, two assists and two steals across 28 minutes in Sunday's 130-109 loss against the Jazz.

Johnson ended just three boards shy of what would've been his third double-double of the season but, more importantly, he surpassed the 20-point mark for the second game in a row. He has scored in double digits in all but one of his appearances as a starter this season and, while his numbers might decrease when LaMarcus Aldridge (knee) returns, he has done enough to remain a reliable performer moving forward, as he has posted strong performances on both ends of the court night in and night out.

Johnson had 26 points (7-11 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 10 rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block in Friday's 109-103 loss to the Lakers.

Johnson executed his moves outside the three-point line, where he either shot immediately upon receiving the ball or charged to the paint. The sophomore made more three-point shots than he attempted in any game last season, perhaps a sign of the workload he could receive this ongoing campaign.

Johnson had 14 points (5-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal during a 98-95 defeat against the Pelicans on Sunday.

New Orleans shot 36-of-94 (38.3 percent), forcing many misses that allowed Johnson to record more boards than usual. Though not a major piece for the Spurs, he has provided value with his given chances. Johnson is currently averaging 14.0 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals through three games (all starts).

Johnson had 16 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3PT, 5-7 FT), five rebounds, three assists and three steals in Wednesday's win over the Grizzlies.

The Spurs' offense was firing on all cylinders for most of the night, and Johnson helped fuel an attack that piled up 131 points on better than 50 percent shooting. The Kentucky product played 32 minutes of action -- a new career-high.

Johnson (foot) isn't on the injury report for Wednesday's season opener against the Grizzlies, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.

The 21-year-old was expected to be sidelined for the start of the season after reporting to training camp with the foot injury, but it appears he's progressed well in his recovery over the past few weeks. Johnson averaged 9.1 points and 3.4 rebounds in 17.7 minutes as a rookie in 2019-20 and should have a bench role for the Spurs this season.

Coach Gregg Popovich said Johnson might not be fully cleared "for the next couple of weeks," Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.

The 21-year-old has been practicing and taking part in 3-on-3 work, but he still needs to ramp things up before being ready for game action. Johnson will at least miss the first few games of the season but could return early in 2021 or a bit earlier.

Johnson seems to have suffered the foot injury during the offseason. While Gregg Popovich suggested the injury was minor, it's apparently significant enough to keep Johnson out for the opener. With the Spurs eliminated from playoff contention, Johnson will draw the first start of his career. In the bubble, he's averaging 12.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.1 steals in 25.6 minutes.

The rookie has stepped into a much larger role in Orlando, and it's paid dividends for the Spurs, who are still very much in the hunt for the eighth seed. Johnson notched career-bests Tuesday in both scoring and rebounding.

Johnson racked up 20 points (7-10 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal in 26 minutes during Wednesday's 132-126 loss to the Nuggets.

Johnson has now set new career highs in scoring in consecutive contests. Furthermore, he finished with twice as many points as field-goal attempts while contributing across multiple categories. Meanwhile, Marco Belinelli (coach's decision) had been cleared to return for this one, so the fact that Johnson held off the veteran shooting guard for playing time bodes well for his fantasy value for the remainder of the restart.

Johnson had 15 points (4-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three rebounds and one assist in 22 minutes during Monday's 132-130 loss to Philadelphia.

Johnson popped for a career-high 15 points as he continues to perfect his craft. The rookie hasn't offered a whole lot through the season thus far but is beginning to carve out a consistent role. While he isn't worth picking up in most formats, he could present as a sneaky DFS play if the Spurs fall out of playoff contention.

Johnson racked up 21 points (7-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three rebounds and three assists in 25 minutes during Tuesday's 118-111 scrimmage win over the Pacers.

Johnson was absolutely incredible offensively and could barely miss in this one. If he continues to play at anywhere near this level, Johnson may very well see the biggest boost in involvement for the Spurs, as coach Gregg Popovich has already stated that development is the top priority during the restart.

Johnson had 13 points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3PT, 4-6 FT) and five rebounds in Friday's loss to Washington.

Up from the G League, Johnson appeared in just his seventh game of the season and logged a career-high 21 minutes. The Kentucky product, who saw a then-career-high 15 minutes against Charlotte earlier in the week, also added a steal off the bench.

The Spurs recalled Johnson from the G League's Austin Spurs on Wednesday, Jeff Garcia of News 4 San Antonio reports.

The rookie rejoins the parent club after playing 35 minutes and producing 31 points (13-18 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block for Austin in Tuesday's 100-99 loss to the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Though Johnson may be active Wednesday in San Antonio's game against Dallas, he's not expected to be included in coach Gregg Popovich's rotation.

After being assigned to the Austin Spurs on Thursday, Johnson's stay did not last long as he was recalled for Friday's contest against the Jazz. Considering the rookie has compiled just 12 minutes and four points over the course of four games in the NBA, it would be hard to expect him to have a significant fantasy impact anytime soon.

Johnson was assigned to the G League on Friday, Jeff Garcia of News 4 San Antonio reports.

Johnson joined the parent club Jan. 22 and appeared in two games since receiving the callup. The 20-year-old will return to Austin, where he's averaging 20.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 27 games.
