He averaged 16.8 points, 5.6 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 0.7 steals over 67 games this season.

George closed Friday's 129-93 loss to the Nuggets with 18 points (5-17 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal over 35 minutes off the bench.

With Jordan Clarkson (foot) done for the year, George saw his biggest workload since he played 37 minutes in an OT loss to the Clippers on Feb. 13. The second-year guard has scored in double digits in five of seven games since returning from a foot injury, averaging 14.9 points, 4.7 assists, 3.3 boards and 1.9 threes over that stretch, and his usage seems likely to increase over the final weeks of the season with Clarkson's 13.3 FG attempts a game up for grabs.

Given the backcourt depth George provides, the Jazz may elect to make some roster moves in the offseason that could make him an every-day starter next year.

George has lots of potential, but as a rookie who's still getting used to the pace of the NBA, he's going to have a few subpar outings like Saturday's, especially when matched up against an experienced floor general in Fred VanVleet. George still posted a decent stat line, but there's no question he struggled badly with his shot. He'll aim to bounce back in another complicated matchup against the Mavericks on Monday.

The 16th overall pick in the 2023 Draft can still be inconsistent, but he's emerging as a potential long-term solution at point guard for the Jazz.

George has been stellar from deep as of late, once again leading all Utah player with a handful of threes to go along with a team-best assist total as the top scorer in a losing effort. George has connected on five or more threes in three of his last four contests, scoring north of 25 points in all three of those outings. He has also distributed at least six assists in two straight contests.

George notched 29 points (10-17 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six assists and five rebounds over 38 minutes in Saturday's 142-121 loss to Denver.

He has been outside the top 150 over the past two weeks, due to his poor efficiency and lack of defensive contributions. With that said, he remains a must-roster player, especially as the Jazz continue to lean more into their youth.

George reeled in 19 points (5-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-7 FT), nine assists, three rebounds and one steal over 31 minutes in Thursday's 115-107 loss to Orlando.

George led all players in Thursday's contest in assists while finishing perfect from the free throw line and posting a team-high-tying point total in a near double-double performance. George has handed out nine or more dimes in five games this season, his first with at least 10 or more points. He has now tallied 18 or more points in 11 outings, including in two of his last five appearances.

George finished Sunday's 128-109 victory over San Antonio with seven points (3-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt), three rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal over 30 minutes.

George salvaged a poor shooting night by adding production across all major categories. Although it does appear as though George is going to feature in the starting lineup for the remainder of the season, his upside remains limited. He should probably be rostered in most leagues but typically offers upside in a couple of categories, those being threes and assists.

George enjoyed the best night of his rookie campaign Thursday, as his prolific outside shooting helped him post a season-high 33 points. The 20-year-old guard also made an impact defensively, recording three steals for the first time in 2023-24. Across George's last 10 starts, he is averaging 14.4 points, 5.0 assists and 2.8 rebounds in 29.3 minutes.

George is expected to remain the starting point guard for the Jazz following Monday's 129-107 loss to the Warriors, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. He finished with five points (2-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt), one rebound and four assists in 29 minutes.

George struggled to find his shooting touch in this one, but head coach Will Hardy noted after the game that the 20-year-old will be the starter moving forward. "It's time," said Hardy. George has shown some intriguing skills in his rookie campaign, but he's been too inconsistent to be a viable fantasy option in standard leagues. That said, he may be figuring things out on offense, as he's now recorded double-digit points in a career-high five straight games.

George amassed 21 points (6-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), four rebounds and three assists in 27 minutes during Monday's 147-114 loss to the Nets.

George has not recorded a start since Dec. 13, but he seems to be performing well in a reserve role for the time being, as he might end up as the Jazz's starting point guard if the likes of Collin Sexton and/or Jordan Clarkson end up getting traded before the deadline. George has scored in double digits in five of his last eight outings, a span in which he's averaging 11.5 points, 3.5 assists and 1.8 rebounds per game. Even if he has a limited role for the time being, his upside is high enough to hang on to him in most formats.

George notched 12 points (1-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 9-10 FT), one rebound, five assists and one steal across 25 minutes during Tuesday's 153-124 loss to New Orleans.

George was held to single-digit scoring totals in his last two appearances and was inefficient from the floor Tuesday, but he salvaged his scoring line by making a season-high nine free throws in the blowout loss. He's been inconsistent since the start of January, averaging 10.6 points, 3.3 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 21.3 minutes per game.

George and Clarkson both look poised to remain on the second unit with Kris Dunn and Collin Sexton having taken control of starting roles while the former two players missed time with injuries in December, but all four guards could continue to hover in the 20-to-30-minute range. Though George is shooting just 37.1 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from three-point range on the season, he's shown some improvement in both areas (40.3 percent, 37 percent) in his eight games since returning from a foot injury.

George finished as Utah's second-leading scorer Saturday, notching just one fewer point than Collin Sexton. This was the point guard's third game since returning from a foot injury that sidelined him for six straight contests. He's been a reserve since his return, averaging 11.7 points, 3.7 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.7 triples over the trio of games.

George didn't exactly light it up in his first game back in action, but he still saw more minutes than starter Kris Dunn (19 minutes) and should eventually move back up to the top unit once his foot injury is further in the rear-view mirror.

Plus, over his last 10 games, George is averaging a solid 15.2 points, 5.0 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 0.6 steals per contest.

While George matched his season-high mark of 11 assists during Wednesday's blowout loss, he was inefficient from the floor and fell short of the first double-double of his career. The rookie has now posted 11 assists on three occasions to begin the regular season, but he's shot just 17.1 percent from the floor over those three appearances. While these performances have helped him establish a solid fantasy floor since joining the starting lineup, he'll be able to generate more upside if he can put things together more consistently.

George had 18 points (7-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-6 FT), five rebounds, four assists and three steals in 31 minutes during Monday's Summer League game against the Thunder.

George drilled 43.8 percent of his tries from the field and showcased his quick hands by recording a team-high three steals. The Baylor product should have plenty of chances to carve out a role for himself off the bench, and he figures to battle with Ochai Agbaji, Kris Dunn and Talen Horton-Tucker for playing time once the regular season nears.
