Leading the NBA in minutes per game (38.2), Bridges should remain a safe asset for fantasy managers going forward, even in a complementary role alongside Jalen Brunson in New York's starting backcourt after working as a top option on offense for the Nets a year ago. Bridges could continue to see a short-term boost in usage if Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) remains out for Monday's tilt against Toronto, a team that ranks 25th in the NBA in points allowed per game (117.4).

The 27-year-old forward led all Brooklyn starters in scoring on the night, although Cam Thomas came through with a record-setting performance off the bench. Bridges will be a key part of the Nets' offense in his first full season with the club, and if he can match the 26.1 points and 2.5 made threes a game he posted over 27 contests in 2022-23 after coming east in the Kevin Durant trade, he might just lead them into the postseason.

Bridges (rest) is available for Wednesday's preseason game against the Heat, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

Brooklyn's starters did not play much in this one, but it was a chance for them to get their legs under them. With Ben Simmons looking very healthy in the preseason opener, that could result in lower usage for Bridges.

Bridges has notched 20 or more points with five or more assists 13 times this year, now posting at least 25 points in eight of his last 10 outings.

Bridges registered 30 points (9-25 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 11-13 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and three steals across 39 minutes during Sunday's 111-110 victory over Utah.

Bridges was far from efficient from the field and needed 25 shots to score 30 points, but he still led the team in scoring while also extending his streak of games with at least 25 points to six. The former Suns forward is averaging 30.0 points per game across his last 10 appearances.

Bridges ended Friday's 124-107 win over Atlanta with 42 points (16-24 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 36 minutes.

Bridges is certainly enjoying life on his new team. He's scored at least 42 points three times with the Nets, and the six highest scoring games of his career have come within the past month. He's showing fantasy managers that he can thrive as the top option on offense. He'll be back in action on April 2 against the Jazz.

Bridges excelled from beyond the arc in the victory, as he poured in 12 of his 27 points from downtown. He's been dangerous from three over his last few contests, shooting 48.4 percent and averaging 3.8 made triples per game over his last four appearances. It's no surprise that he's also averaging an impressive 32.5 points to go along with 5.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists over this hot stretch.

Bridges contributed 44 points (13-22 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 12-12 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 34 minutes during Sunday's 119-106 loss to the Magic.

Bridges posted his second 40-plus point game of the season and fell one short of his career high, which he set during a 116-105 win over the Heat on Feb. 15. However, it wasn't enough to pull out the victory Sunday, as the rest of his squad struggled to make an offensive impact. Since arriving in Brooklyn (20 games), the once defensive-minded forward has transformed into a do-it-all star for the Nets, posting 26.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.7 blocks with 49/41/91 shooting splits.

Bridges dished out his most assists as a Net and tied his season highs with 11 trips to the charity stripe and 10 makes en route to his 14th game with at least 20 points over his past 17 appearances. During that stretch, the breakout star is averaging 27.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.5 steals-plus-blocks in 35.1 minutes with 49.8/38.6/91.2 shooting splits.

Bridges has taken his offensive game to another level since joining the Nets and is thriving in a more significant role than the one he had in Phoenix. The Nets have featured a balanced attack since trading away Kevin Durant (ankle) and Kyrie Irving (foot), but Bridges appears to be Brooklyn's No. 1 option on offense.

The fifth-year forward led the Nets in scoring on an afternoon when seven different Brooklyn players, including all five starters, scored in double digits to overcome another Nikola Jokic triple-double. Bridges has delivered more than 20 points in eight of 10 games since the All-Star break, averaging 25.9 points, 4.4 boards, 2.7 assists, 2.7 threes and 1.0 steals over that stretch.

Bridges ended with 34 points (13-24 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds and one assist in 46 minutes during Friday's 124-123 overtime victory over the Timberwolves.

Bridges continues to flash his offensive upside, scoring at least 30 points for the fifth time in his past seven games. Although his defensive output has fallen slightly since joining the Nets, he has more than made up for it with efficient, high-volume scoring. He is clearly the go-to option for the Nets and with the team still looking to push for the playoffs, he could be a sneaky top-15 asset ROS.

Head coach Jacque Vaughn relayed Thursday that he will "probably not" see a full workload in the evening's tilt versus the Bucks, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports.

There doesn't seem to be a concern in terms of an injury for Bridges, and it's likely more the case that Bridges will get more of a breather than usual in a game that features a healthy spread in favor of the Bucks and numerous regulars in Brooklyn's starting five sitting out. Bridges enters the night averaging 26.5 points, 5.43 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.1 steals over 34.9 minutes per game in his 10 appearances since joining the Nets.

Bridges led the Nets in scoring Tuesday, and the versatile forward continues to turn heads with his play now that he's been given a more prominent role than the one he had with the Suns before the trade. Bridges is averaging 26.5 points per game since joining Brooklyn, and he has also scored at least 30 points five times in that span, including in each of his last three outings.

Bridges contributed 33 points (12-21 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one block across 41 minutes during Sunday's 102-86 win over the Hornets.

Bridges has elevated his game to a new level since arriving in Brooklyn and that trend continued Sunday. He has been a first-round player over the past two weeks, averaging 26.7 points to go with 5.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.3 three-pointers. Given what we know about his game, there is certainly scope for his defensive contributions to increase down the stretch. When packaged together, he presents as a sneaky top-20 talent ROS.

Bridges notched 38 points (13-22 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 8-9 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists and one steal in 43 minutes during Friday's 115-105 win over the Celtics.

This was Bridges' fifth career game eclipsing 30 points, and three of those have come with the Nets in the span of a few weeks. He's clearly enjoying life as the No. 1 option for Brooklyn and came into Friday averaging 26.8 points in his previous five games with 4.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.4 three-pointers.

Bridges supplied 21 points (6-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 8-8 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Wednesday's 142-118 loss to the Knicks.

Bridges has scored at least 20 points in three games in a row and five of his seven since joining the Nets, including a blistering 45-point performance against the Heat on Feb. 15. The former Suns forward is averaging 23.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game since the trade.

It's the fourth time in six games since joining the Nets that Bridges has scored more than 20 points, and the fifth-year wing is thriving as one of the focal points of his new team's offense. Since the trade from Phoenix, Bridges is averaging 23.8 points, 5.3 boards, 3.2 assists, 2.5 threes and 1.3 steals while shooting 52.6 percent from the floor, 46.9 percent from beyond the arc and 90.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Bridges ended Sunday's 129-127 loss to Atlanta with 24 points (8-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals across 38 minutes.

Bridges has been a bit inconsistent since joining the Nets following the trade deadline, but so far, the positives outweigh the negatives. He looks comfortable in a prominent offensive role and has scored at least 20 points in three of his five outings with the Nets while also posting solid contributions in peripheral categories. He's averaging 22.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and a combined 2.2 steals/blocks per game since the change of scenery.

Bridges had 45 points (17-24 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 7-7 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 116-105 win over the Heat.

It was a career night for Bridges who knocked down 17 of 24 shots to record a new career-high 45 points in the win. He still managed to contribute his usual defensive stats as well. Obviously the 26-year-old forward isn't going to shoot this efficiently on a regular basis, but in this Brooklyn offense he has the opportunity to try and continue with a similar kind of usage going forward.

Bridges closed Saturday's 101-98 loss to the 76ers with 23 points (8-18 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, one assist and two steals in 34 minutes.

Bridges led the Nets in scoring with 23 points, giving us a glimpse of what his new role might look like. The team is going to be looking for points production anywhere they can find it, possibly affording Bridges a chance to flaunt his much-improved offensive game. If everything goes according to plan, he could very well be on the way to his best fantasy season to date.

Bridges will start in his Nets debut Saturday against the 76ers, Christian Arnold of Associated Press reports.

Unsurprisingly, Bridges gets the nod in his debut, as the young wing was the centerpiece in the deal that sent Kevin Durant to the Suns. Both Bridges and Cameron Johnson (recently traded) will be active for the contest, meaning fantasy managers will get their first look at the new Nets roster. Bridges has been traded to the Nets, along with Cameron Johnson, Jae Crowder and multiple future first-round picks, in exchange for Kevin Durant and TJ Warren, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

While the draft capital, which reportedly includes four future first-round picks, as well as a pick swap, is the headliner for Brooklyn, the Nets also get one of the league's best three-and-D wings in Bridges. The Villanova product is averaging a career-best 17.2 points per game to go with 4.3 boards, 3.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.8 threes, while shooting 38.7 percent from deep and 89.7 percent at the line. In Brooklyn, he'll step in as one of the key components of the Nets' post-Durant rebuild. That should lead to a larger offensive role down the stretch, as the Nets are left with few proven options outside of Spencer Dinwiddie.

Bridges didn't do much in other categories, but he didn't need to contribute across the board after leading the Suns in scoring against one of the best teams in The Association. Bridges has benefited from the fact that Chris Paul, Deandre Ayton and Devin Booker (groin) have all missed time throughout the season, and he has embraced the more prominent offensive role by posting career-best numbers. He's scored at least 23 points in four games in a row and is averaging 17.0 points per game on the season.

Bridges logged 23 points (6-18 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 10-10 FT), five rebounds and seven assists in 30 minutes during Wednesday's 132-100 loss to Atlanta.

Bridges was the most productive Phoenix player in Wednesday's blowout defeat, as he led the team in points and assists while pulling down five boards. However, his performance wasn't entirely positive given his 6-for-18 shooting mark from the field and lack of any defensive stats. Bridges did knock down all 10 of his free-throw attempts to somewhat make up for his poor 1-for-7 mark from three-point range, and he extended his streak of scoring 20-plus points to three straight contests.

Bridges finished Monday's 114-106 win over the Raptors with 29 points (12-19 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, six assists, one block and three steals across 39 minutes.

Bridges has scored at least 20 points in seven of his last nine appearances and is averaging 23.0 points, 5.2 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.7 steals with 50.0/91.7/43.5 shooting splits during that stretch. The fifth-year player has blossomed into a go-to player with Devin Booker and Chris Paul sidelined for the most of the year, and even with the latter back in the lineup, Bridges continues to lead Phoenix's offense. He'll look to maintain his strong play in a home game against the Hawks on Wednesday.

Bridges continued his aggressive play Saturday night and finished strong in the overtime period to help Phoenix seal the victory. He's really stepped up on the offensive end this year with the added usage caused by all the injuries the team has had. Because of that, the fifth year forward is averaging career highs in points (16.5), rebounds (4.4) and assists (3.5) this season.

Bridges produced 22 points (9-19 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, four assists and four steals across 38 minutes during Saturday's 112-107 victory over the Pacers.

Bridges has scored at least 20 points in four games in a row, and in five of his last six outings, so he's been playing at a high level offensively, something the Suns desperately need given how shorthanded they've been in recent weeks due to a rash of injuries. Bridges is having a career-best season with averages of 16.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game so far.

Bridges is having the best season of his career and has taken a leap forward in terms of his scoring numbers, putting up at least 20 points in three of Phoenix's last four games during the current road trip. Bridges is posting career-best numbers in points (15.8), rebounds (4.6) and assists (3.4) per game this season.

The Suns were without five rotation players due to injury and Jae Crowder remains away from Phoenix indefinitely, so Bridges once again handled a focal role on offense, clearing the 20-point mark for the second time in three games. After shooting at least 50 percent from the floor in each of the past three seasons, Bridges is down to 45.9 percent on a career-high 12.6 field-goal attempts per game, but he's at least made up for the drop in efficiency by raising his averages in points (15.7 per game), rebounds (4.6) and assists (3.3) to new personal-best marks. He's also shooting a career-best 88.8 percent from the free-throw line.

The Suns were without Deandre Ayton (ankle), Chris Paul (hip), Devin Booker (groin), Cameron Payne (foot) and Landry Shamet (hip), so it was time for the role players to step their game up and for the starters, it was the time to shine and garner a bigger role on offense. That's exactly what happened with Bridges, and he delivered, as he led the Suns in scoring while also contributing decent numbers in other categories. He has scored in double digits in nine games in a row and is averaging 15.2 points per game in that span.

Bridges racked up 21 points (6-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-7 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one block over 37 minutes during Friday's 113-104 loss to the Raptors.

Bridges reached the 20-point mark for the first time since a Dec. 19 win over the Lakers, and he took advantage of a poor performance from Deandre Ayton and the absence of Devin Booker (groin) to carry the team on offense. He averaged 15.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game in December.

Bridges produced 17 points (6-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals across 40 minutes during Wednesday's 127-102 loss to Washington.

It was a bit of a return to form for Bridges, who had averaged just 9.5 points a game over the prior four contests while going 4-for-14 (28.6 percent) from three-point range. The 26-year-old forward has had an up and down December, scoring 20 or more points in five of the first 10 games on the month before his recent skid, but the Suns will need some consistent offense from him heading into the new year with Devin Booker (groin) out for at least the next four weeks.

Bridges chipped in 15 points (5-13 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and three steals over 37 minutes during Saturday's 118-114 victory over the Pelicans.

Bridges recorded 10 of his 15 points in the first half on 4-of-11 shooting from the field, adding a rebound and two steals. The Phoenix small forward added five points in the second half on just 1-of-2 shooting while also knocking down his only two free-throw attempts. He finished the contest with a game-high three steals and has scored at least 15 points in six of nine games this month.

He remains a relatively consistent fantasy asset and based on what we have seen in previous years, he is almost a lock to end as a mid-round option once again.

Bridges' underwhelming production despite hefty playing time and a solid performance from the Suns' offense holistically is discouraging. Bridges averaged 14.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 82 games last season -- ranking second league-wide in minutes played. Expect him to ultimately approach these figures in 2022-23.

While his scoring has seen a boost over the past few weeks, his defensive numbers have taken a bit of a hit. Given his role is set in stone, he should be able to figure out things on both ends of the floor as the Suns look to secure the best record in the league.

On the year, Bridges is shooting better than 38 percent from three while adding 1.3 steals and 0.5 blocks per game.

While Bridges drilled a pair of threes and added one steal, it wasn't an overly remarkable night for the wing, whose contributions on both ends often aren't reflected in the box score. For the season, his numbers are pretty similar to his 2020-21 averages, and while his three-point volume is down (1.3 3PM/G compared to 1.9 last season), he's made up for it with a jump in steals (1.4 SPG; 1.1 last season) and free throw shooting (87.5% FT; 84.0% last season).

Bridges and Suns agreed Sunday on a four-year, $90 million contract extension, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Bridges is heading into the final year of his rookie deal in 2021-22, and the Suns were understandably eager to keep him in the fold long term after he emerged as one of the league's most promising two-way wings through his first three seasons in the NBA. He turned in a career-best campaign in the Suns' run to the NBA Finals in 2020-21, averaging 13.5 points on 54.3 percent shooting from the field and 42.5 percent shooting form three-point range while blocking 0.9 shots per game and averaging 1.1 steals. His star continues to shine brightly and it is not surprising that as he grows as a player, success seems to follow. Despite the 15 point margin, the Suns did not have it all their own way in the victory and they will need to stay locked in on Friday if they are to secure both home victories.

Bridges is certainly a complementary alternative in an offense where names such as Devin Booker and Chris Paul shine on a nightly basis, but the former Villanova standout has been thriving in the scoring column of late and has recorded at least 15 points in four of his last five appearances. While he's not expected to score at this rate -- he has surpassed the 20-point mark just seven times this season -- or with this efficiency going forward, the uptick in his scoring figures has been a nice bonus for a player that's capable of doing a little bit of everything on a nightly basis.

His consistent play on both sides of the floor make him a valuable option in fantasy leagues despite not putting up huge numbers in any category.

The 24-year-old had just been averaging 0.8 steals over his past four games before Sunday's six-steal explosion. Bridges will look to build on his impressive defensive performance Tuesday at home against the Hawks.

His long-term production might be somewhere in between both games, but one thing is certain -- he should remain a reliable contributor across most formats, especially if Devin Booker (hamstring) is forced to miss a few games.

Bridges and the Suns will not play the Warriors on Friday, as the game has been postponed, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Wednesday's game against Atlanta was also postponed, and it remains to be seen if Saturday's matchup against Indiana will go on as scheduled for the Suns.

As long as Oubre is absent, Bridges should be a dependable source of production in all formats.

The 23-year old is playing at a top-80 level on the season, but has worked his way into the top 30 over his last seven outings, producing 13.9 points, 4.4 boards, 2.7 dimes, 2.1 triples, 1.1 steals and 0.9 blocks per game, while shooting 57.1 percent from the field, and 100 percent from the line in that time span. He should be owned everywhere at this point, and has really made a statement in the absence of Kelly Oubre (knee).

That didn't change here and Bridges is certainly the better option for a young Suns team looking to develop their core. Bridges can put up numbers across the board and despite being a low usage player, should be rostered in most formats moving forward.

Given that Bridges tends to struggle to score at times, he's likely best reserved for those in need of defensive stats in category leagues.

Bridges has averaged almost 35 minutes per game over the Suns past five games. Unfortunately for fantasy players, the playing time has yet to yield any consistent uptick in production. A change of scenery could help Bridges, potentially making him a name to stow around the deadline.

Bridges contributed 26 points (10-13 FG, 6-8 3Pt), three rebounds, two steals and two blocks in 40 minutes during Saturday's 123-119 win over the Celtics.

Bridges finished with career highs in scoring and threes while amassing at least two steals and two blocks for the third time in the last 20 games. He also earned a season high minute total, and Bridges should continue to hold down the fort as the starting small forward for at least as long as Kelly Oubre (concussion) is held out.

Bridges is starting Thursday's game against the Knicks.

Bridges joins the first unit for Kelly Oubre Jr., who's out Thursday with a concussion. The Villanova product's last start dates back to Dec. 17 against the Clippers when he finished with five points, three assists and two rebounds in 26 minutes.

As expected, Bridges will be ready to roll for Thursday's exhibition after being upgraded to probable earlier in the day. He'd been nursing a right patella bone bruise and has now returned to health.
