When Gordon Hayward (thumb), Kelly Oubre (shoulder), Terry Rozier (foot) and Dennis Smith (toe) are cleared to suit up again, Mykhailiuk's fantasy value will take a major hit, but until then, he's certainly proven he's capable of viable production when given a starting-level role.

It's unclear how serious their respective injuries are, but if Rozier and Oubre have to miss time, Mykhailiuk could move into the starting lineup and see this type of usage on a regular basis.

Mykhailiuk logged 16 minutes off the bench, appearing for just the third time in the past six games as a member of the Hornets. The fact he has played in only 16 games all season should tell you everything you need to know about his lack of fantasy appeal. Even in the deepest formats, managers would be better served to target a young player with at least a small amount of upside.

After being acquired Thursday, Mykhailiuk missed the Hornets' game Friday in Boston before joining the team ahead of Saturday's game against Denver. The ex-Piston made his Thunder debut Thursday against the Hawks but was held scoreless in 16 minutes of action. He bounced back in a major way Sunday, taking advantage of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's (shoulder) absence to carve out a role off the bench. The Thunder will likely continue to give Mykhailiuk some looks over the next two months, but for now he's best left alone in most fantasy leagues.

Detroit's roster certainly isn't full of shooters, so Mykhailiuk should continue to have a solid bench role with this squad.

Over the weekend split, the Kansas product converted 50 percent of his shots from beyond the arc. Although he lacks the usage to be fantasy relevant at this point, he's one injury away from enhanced production.

While he's not consistent enough for fantasy consideration at this point in the season, he's shown flashes of multi-category production since garnering a starting role.
