Garners 11 targets on SNF
Brown finished with seven receptions on 11 targets for 49 yards in Sunday's 16-9 win over Detroit.
ANALYSIS
Brown certainly was not devoid of targets in the primetime victory, pacing his team with six more looks than the next-highest receiver. Blustering winds in Philadelphia prevented many deep shots from being taken on Sunday Night Football, which put a solid cap on the star wideout's fantasy score outside of PPR formats. Brown has been vocal about his lack of involvement at times this year, so the season-high 11 targets should help ease the thoughts of concerned managers heading into next Sunday's tilt against the Cowboys.

Quiet in return to action Monday
Brown (hamstring) finished with two receptions on three targets for 13 yards in Monday's 10-7 win over the Packers.
ANALYSIS
Brown used the Eagles' bye week to recover from a hamstring injury that wound up costing him just one game on the schedule. The 28-year-old handled a full week of practice leading up to Monday's contest and showed no visible limitations running routes. The poor fantasy night was more the result of a grueling defensive battle that went scoreless for two-plus quarters. Brown will have a better opportunity to shine in a softer matchup at home against the Lions on Sunday Night Football in Week 11.
Nov 6, 2025
Full practice following bye
Brown (hamstring) practiced in full Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Brown sat out the Eagles' last game Week 8 versus the Giants due to a hamstring injury, but after the team's Week 9 bye, he was back on the practice field without limitations and thus will be available for Monday's visit to Green Bay. In the two games prior to the aforementioned DNP, Brown totaled 10 catches (on 15 targets) for 201 yards and two touchdowns.

Practicing to begin Week 10
Brown (hamstring) is taking part in Thursday's practice, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
The extent of Brown's practice participation won't be known until the Eagles release their first Week 10 injury report later Thursday, but Brown's ability to take the field in any capacity bodes well for his chances of playing Monday against the Packers. Brown ended up sitting out the Eagles' Week 8 win over the Giants due to his hamstring injury, but a well-timed Week 9 bye has afforded him some additional time to rest up and recover.
Oct 25, 2025
Has chance to return in Week 10
Brown (hamstring), who has already been ruled out for Sunday's Week 8 matchup against the Giants, could return in Week 10 against Green Bay following the Eagles' bye, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown wasn't able to practice at all this week due to a hamstring issue. Such injuries often require a multi-week absence, but Brown has the advantage of Philadelphia's Week 9 bye -- as well as an extra day off in Week 10, as the Eagles play on Monday night -- to try to get healthy and avoid missing additional time. In separate news, Schefter reported Saturday that Philadelphia is unlikely to move Brown ahead of the Nov. 4 trade deadline despite interest from teams around the league.
Oct 24, 2025
Ruled out for Week 8
Brown (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Reports earlier this week suggested Brown's hamstring injury wasn't serious, but he never ended up practicing and now will miss the final game before a Week 9 bye. Jahan Dotson and John Metchie figure to take on the vacated snaps at wide receiver, with DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert getting sizable boosts in target-share projection.
Oct 24, 2025
Not practicing Friday
Brown (hamstring) isn't practicing Friday, Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
A third straight missed practice is bad news for Brown and his fantasy managers, although Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said earlier Friday that the wideout doesn't need to practice this week in order to play in Sunday's game against the Giants. Brown did work out on the side Thursday while his teammates practiced, with Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer suggesting that the wideout was on track to play Sunday. A third missed practice may have changed that expectation, with Brown now highly likely to have a game designation on the final injury report later Friday.
Oct 24, 2025
Could play without practicing
Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said Friday that Brown (hamstring) does not necessarily need to practice this week in order to play in Sunday's game against the Giants, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Sirianni didn't say if Brown will return to practice Friday after missing the previous two days. Reports on Thursday suggested Brown is still expected to play this week, but another absence Friday might change that thinking, despite what Sirianni said about Brown being able to play without practicing.
Oct 23, 2025
No practice again Thursday
Brown (hamstring) isn't practicing Thursday, Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown now has missed the first two practices of Week 8 prep due to a hamstring injury, but he was spotted working out on the side during Thursday's session, per Bob Brookover of NJ.com. There's an expectation that Brown will be able to suit up Sunday against the Giants, according to Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer, but Friday's injury report will reveal whether or not he enters the weekend with a designation for that contest.
Oct 22, 2025
On track to play this week
Brown missed Wednesday's practice with a hamstring injury, but he's on track to play this Sunday against the Giants, according to Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
ANALYSIS
A return to practice Thursday would support the notion that Brown's hamstring injury is minor. There was no sign of trouble in Sunday's win at Minnesota, with Brown catching four passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns while playing 92 percent of snaps and handling a 100 percent route share.
Oct 22, 2025
Dealing with hamstring injury
Brown missed Wednesday's practice due to a hamstring injury.
ANALYSIS
It's the first time this season he's missed practice due to an injury. There was no sign of trouble in Sunday's win at Minnesota, with Brown catching four passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns while playing 92 percent of snaps and handling a 100 percent route share.
Oct 19, 2025
Stands out in Week 7 win
Brown brought in four of six targets for 121 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles' 28-22 win over the Vikings on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Brown saw DeVonta Smith put together a spectacular 9-183-1 line on 11 targets to pace Philadelphia's air attack, but the former contributed on a markedly more efficient basis by recording grabs of 37, 26, 13 and 45 yards. The first two of those receptions went for touchdowns in the first and fourth quarter, respectively, while the final one came on third down with less than two minutes remaining and allowed the Eagles to run out the clock. Brown has between six and 10 targets over his last six games, and he's come alive in the last pair of contests with a 10-201-2 line in that span. Brown and the Eagles will be looking for a bit of revenge in Week 8, as a Giants team they just lost to in Week 6 pays a visit to Philadelphia next Sunday afternoon.
Oct 12, 2025
No private meeting
There was no "private meeting" between Brown, Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley as initially reported elsewhere, Jay Glazer reported on Fox NFL Sunday. Instead, Brown saw Hurts and Barkley talking in the parking lot and walked over to join them.
ANALYSIS
This comes with the territory for a big market team that's the defending Super Bowl champs, but the drama surrounding the Eagles' key offensive players has been exhausting. It serves well to remember how the Eagles' offense was also off-kilter at this point in the season last year, too.
Oct 10, 2025
Solid showing in upset loss
Brown brought in six of nine targets for 80 yards in the Eagles' 34-17 loss to the Giants on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Brown finished second across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets to Dallas Goedert for the Eagles on the night, tying a season high in catches as well. Brown's also recorded his first catch of 20-plus yards since Week 3, and he extended his streak of games with at least eight targets to five contests. Brown also has at least five receptions in four of the last games, so despite all the talk about his reduced role in the offense, the star wideout remains an integral figure in Philadelphia's air attack heading into a Week 7 road matchup against the Vikings on Sunday, Oct. 19.
Oct 5, 2025
Five catches in close loss
Brown brought in five of eight targets for 43 yards in the Eagles' 21-17 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Brown finished second in receptions and third in targets during a busy day for the Eagles' passing attack, but he averaged just 8.6 yards per grab against Denver's tough defense. Brown's reception and receiving yardage tallies were his second highest of the season, but through five games, he has just a single touchdown catch and only one game of more than 43 receiving yards as well. Brown won't have to wait long for his next opportunity to put an end to that unfavorable trend, as he draws a favorable Week 6 road matchup against the Giants on Thursday night.
Sep 28, 2025
Forgettable numbers in loss
Brown brought in two of nine targets for seven yards in the Eagles' 31-25 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
After coming to life with a 6-109-1 line against the Rams in Week 3, Brown went right back to the shockingly miniscule production that had defined his first two games. The veteran wideout's yardage total was a new season low and his second single-digit yardage figure over the first four games. Jalen Hurts did try to get the ball in Brown's hands plenty again Sunday, however, and Brown now has 27 targets in his last three contests after opening the season with just a single ball thrown to him in the Week 1 win over the Cowboys. Brown's next opportunity to snap out of his alarming doldrums in a tough Week 5 matchup, as the Broncos' suffocating secondary comes to town next Sunday afternoon.
Sep 21, 2025
Breaks out of early season slump
Brown recorded six receptions on 10 targets for 109 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-26 win over the Rams.
ANALYSIS
The Eagles had taken to the air sparingly in the first two weeks of this season, and Brown entered the game with 35 total yards from scrimmage. However, Philadelphia fell behind early against the Rams and Jalen Hurts had to attempt 32 passes in a comeback effort, allowing Brown to get more opportunity. He turned that into several highlight-worthy plays, including a 38-yard catch deep down the right sideline early in the third quarter and a nine-yard touchdown catch one possession later. It's no surprise that Brown was productive when given the chance, and the Eagles could be pushed once again in a Week 4 matchup against the Bucs.
Sep 14, 2025
Gets more involved in Week 2
Brown finished with five receptions on eight targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
This was certainly an improvement over last week's one-catch showing, but the end result was still poor from a fantasy perspective. DeVonta Smith (4-53-0) finished as the leading receiver with Brown leading the team in targets (eight) and receptions (five). Philadelphia's run-heavy offense to kick off the 2025 season is the main culprit for the entire receiving corps posting paltry totals through two games. Perhaps Brown and the rest of the Eagles' aerial attack will finally take off in what could be a high-scoring affair against the Rams next Sunday.
Sep 5, 2025
Nearly blanked in Week 1 win
Brown secured his only target for eight yards in the Eagles' 24-20 win over the Cowboys on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Brown's near shutout was alarming considering his typical importance to the Eagles' air attack, but both passing games were relatively subdued in the opener. While Brown garnered plenty of defensive attention, Dallas Goedert and Jahan Dotson appeared to be the biggest beneficiaries, and Brown finally got on the board with a timely eight-yard grab with 1:51 remaining to set up a game-sealing Jalen Hurts four-yard scramble. Needless to say, stat lines like Thursday's should be few and far between for Brown this season, and he's a virtual lock to be exponentially more involved a Week 2 road Super Bowl rematch with the Chiefs on Sunday, Sept. 14.
Sep 1, 2025
Ready for Week 1
Brown (hamstring) doesn't appear on the Eagles' injury report ahead of Thursday's game against the Cowboys.
ANALYSIS
The same applies to DeVonta Smith (groin), which paves the way for the Eagles' top two wideouts to be available for Week 1 action. Brown, who is coming off a 2024 regular season in which he recorded a 67/1,079/7 receiving line (on 97 targets) in 13 contests, is in line to continue in his key role in a Philadelphia passing offense that runs largely through him, Smith and TE Dallas Goedert.
Aug 28, 2025
Participating in practice again
Brown (hamstring) is practicing Thursday, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown also took part in Wednesday's practice. Though the star wideout has spent most of August managing a lingering hamstring injury, all signs have continued to point to his being available Week 1 against the Cowboys. DeVonta Smith (groin) is also practicing Thursday.
Aug 22, 2025
Running routes pre-game
Brown (hamstring) went through a pregame workout Friday, John Clark of NBC Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown has been managing a hamstring injury since the first week of August, with no indication so far that it's considered a threat to his Week 1 availability. Fantasy managers will feel much better if he returns to full practice participation soon, but Friday's video of the pregame workout suggests Brown's hamstring is feeling much better, running routes and catching passes at close to full speed.
Aug 19, 2025
Could practice next week
Brown (hamstring) is not participating in Tuesday's practice, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown is sitting out another practice, though offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo said when the training staff "is ready to cut him loose, he'll be cut loose," which Frank speculates will occur next week. The star wide receiver managed to get in two limited practices to begin last week, and the Eagles simply seem to be taking a cautious approach to his recovery. There doesn't seem to be any concern about Brown's Week 1 availability at this stage, but expect him to sit out Friday's preseason finale against the Jets.
Aug 18, 2025
Sitting out Monday's practice
Brown (hamstring) is not practicing Monday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown got in a handful of limited practices last week, but he's now been listed as a 'DNP' since last Wednesday. The Eagles continue to take a cautious approach to the star wide receiver's recovery, though he doesn't seem to be in consideration for the team's preseason finale against the Jets on Friday. At this stage, though, Philadelphia hasn't indicated any signs of concern about Brown's availability for Week 1 against the Cowboys on Thursday, Sept. 4.
Aug 14, 2025
Not practicing
Brown (hamstring) isn't practicing Thursday, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
After missing a week of training camp, Brown returned to practice as a limited participant Sunday and Tuesday, but the Eagles are now playing it safe and holding him out from joint practices with the Browns. It'll be more concerning if Brown remains out of practice next week, following Saturday's preseason game against Cleveland.
Aug 13, 2025
Not practicing Wednesday
Brown (hamstring) isn't in uniform for Wednesday's joint practice with the Browns, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown returned Sunday after missing a week, but he still hasn't been a full participant, making him highly unlikely to play in Saturday's preseason game even if the Eagles use other starters against the Browns. There doesn't seem to be any concern about Brown's Week 1 availability at this point.
Aug 12, 2025
Another limited practice
Brown (hamstring) will be a limited practice participant Tuesday, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown returned to practice Sunday after missing a week of training camp. He isn't back to full participation yet and may not play in the preseason, but his quick return to practice -- even in a limited capacity -- suggests the Eagles aren't worried about his hamstring injury.
Aug 10, 2025
Returns to practice Sunday
Brown (hamstring) returned to practice Sunday, Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
It remains to be seen whether Brown's able to participate limitations, but this nonetheless marks a significant step in the right direction as he works his way back from a hamstring injury that had sidelined him for the past week. The Eagles have little reason to rush Brown's recovery process, and there have been no indications that his availability for the Sept. 4 regular-season opener against the Cowboys is in any danger.
Aug 9, 2025
Still not practicing
Brown (hamstring) will not participate in Saturday's training camp practice, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown continues to work through a hamstring injury, which caused him to observe Thursday's preseason game against the Bengals on the sidelines. He'll have two more opportunities to see preseason action ahead of the Eagles' regular-season opener against the Cowboys on Thursday, Sept. 4. With Brown and Terrace Marshall (knee) sidelined, Johnny Wilson and Ainias Smith will continue to rotate in three-wideout sets with the first-team offense alongside DeVonta Smith and Jahan Dotson.
Aug 7, 2025
Sitting out Thursday
Brown (hamstring) isn't suited up for Thursday's preseason game versus the Bengals, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown was held out the Eagles' three practices in advance of their exhibition opener due to a hamstring injury, so it comes as no surprise that he'll sit out Thursday. He'll have two more chances for preseason action ahead of Week 1, which Philadelphia will open on Thursday, Sept. 4 against the Cowboys.
Aug 5, 2025
Watching another practice
Brown (hamstring) is not participating in practice Tuesday, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown continues to attend practice as an observer, per Berman, rather than participating in the sort of rehab program that might indicate a more serious injury. All indications are that the Eagles are simply taking a cautious approach to the star wideout's health, with the team's Week 1 matchup against Dallas still roughly one month away.
Aug 4, 2025
No practice Monday
Brown (hamstring) isn't practicing Monday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown previously missed the second half of Friday's practice and all of Sunday's session. He's present Monday, but only as an observer as the Eagles prepare for their preseason opener Thursday against Cincinnati.
Aug 3, 2025
Managing hamstring injury
Brown isn't practicing Sunday due to a hamstring issue, Andrew DiCecco of InsideTheBirds.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Per Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia, Brown also missed the second half of practice Friday. The severity of the hamstring injury isn't clear, but Philadelphia figures to be cautious with the star wideout given that the regular season is still over a month away. In better news for the Eagles' wideout corps, DeVonta Smith returned to practice Sunday after missing a few days with a tight back.
Feb 9, 2025
Finds end zone in SB win
Brown secured three of five targets for 43 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' 40- 22 win over the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Brown saw a 32-yard reception on the Eagles' first drive wiped out by an offensive pass interference penalty against him, but the talented wideout would go on to make up for it with a 22-yard reception on third down early in the second quarter and a 12-yard touchdown grab later in the period. Brown finished second in catches and tied for second in targets with fellow wideout DeVonta Smith on the night, and after mustering just a 3-24 line during the Eagles' first two playoff games, Brown amassed a combined nine catches for 139 yards and two touchdowns on 13 targets during the NFC Championship Game and Super Bowl.
Jan 26, 2025
Bounces back with 96 yards, TD
Brown caught six of eight targets for 96 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 55-23 win over the Commanders in the NFC Championship Game.
ANALYSIS
After being held to three catches for 24 yards over the first two games of this playoff run, Brown bounced back with four catches for 61 yards and a touchdown in the first half alone. That production included a 31-yard catch on fourth down in the second quarter on a drive that culminated in the third of Philadelphia's seven rushing touchdowns, followed by a four-yard Brown touchdown catch in the final minute of the first half. Brown paced the Eagles in receiving yards to help clinch their second Super Bowl berth in three years. Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Feb. 9 will either be a rematch against the Chiefs or a battle against the Bills.
Jan 23, 2025
Gets back to full Thursday
Brown (knee/rest/illness) was a full practice participant Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Brown was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough due to knee/rest, which dates back to Week 16 prep. Despite getting back to full one day later, he also was listed with an illness. In two playoff games to date, Brown has earned at least a 90 percent snap share both times but compiled a measly 3-24-0 line on 10 targets. He'll look to be more involved on offense Sunday against a Commanders defense that he put up a combined 13 catches (on 23 targets) for 162 yards and one touchdown in two regular-season matchups.
Jan 22, 2025
Listed as limited in walk-through
Brown (knee/rest) was listed as limited on Wednesday's practice estimate.
ANALYSIS
Brown continues to manage a knee issue, but the wideout has been available for both of the Eagles' playoff contests and we don't expect that to change in Sunday's NFC Championship game against the Commanders. Barring any setbacks, look for the wideout to practice fully by Friday and head into the weekend without an injury designation.
Jan 19, 2025
Just two catches in Sunday's win
Brown caught two of seven targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 28-22 divisional-round win over the Rams.
ANALYSIS
The Eagles' passing game has been completely de-emphasized during their playoff run, and Brown's production has taken the biggest hit. The star wideout has only a 3-24-0 line on 10 targets through two games -- a lower yardage total than he delivered in any single game during the regular season. Unless the Commanders find some way to bottle up Saquon Barkley next Sunday in the NFC Championship Game, Brown may have trouble making an impact again.
Jan 17, 2025
Clear for Sunday's contest
Brown (knee/rest) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's divisional-round game against the Rams.
ANALYSIS
As has been the norm for Brown since Week 16 prep, Brown endured some practice restrictions this week due to knee/rest, sitting out Wednesday before returning as a limited participant one day later. With a full session under his belt Friday, he again is good to go versus a Los Angeles defense that has allowed 7.97 YPT (13th in the NFL) and 20 receiving touchdowns (tied for fourth most) to opposing wide receivers in 18 contests between the regular season and playoffs.
Jan 16, 2025
Officially limited Thursday
Brown (knee/rest) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday.
ANALYSIS
As he predicted, Brown followed up Wednesday's absence from practice with a cap on his reps one day later as he continues to deal with a knee injury that has lingered since preparations for Week 16. He's played in three of four games in the meantime -- in the fourth, Week 18 against the Giants, most Eagles starters sat out -- and he's handled greater than a 90 percent snap share all three times. Ultimately, Friday's practice report will reveal whether or not Brown enters the weekend with a designation ahead of Sunday's divisional-round contest against the Rams.
Jan 16, 2025
Back at practice Thursday
Brown (knee/rest) returned to practice Thursday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown officially was a non-participant at Wednesday's session, after which he told Zangaro that he planned to mix into drills Thursday. While this has manifested itself, Brown's activity level won't be known until the Eagles post their second injury report of the week. Brown has been tending to a knee injury since Week 16 prep but otherwise has played through it, aside from sitting out Week 18 along with a number of starters.
Jan 15, 2025
Doesn't practice Wednesday
Brown (knee/rest) didn't practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Brown continues to manage a knee issue, with the wideout indicating that his non-participation Wednesday is part of that plan and that he's slated to practice Thursday, per Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia. Assuming no setbacks, look for Brown to practice fully by Friday and approach Sunday's divisional-round game against the Rams without an injury designation.
Jan 12, 2025
Not needed in Sunday's win
Brown caught one of three targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 22-10 wild-card round win over the Packers.
ANALYSIS
The Eagles' offense didn't really need to do much after jumping out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter, but Brown's lack of volume was still curious. Tight end Dallas Goedert wound up leading the team with six targets, however, with Brown finishing third behind DeVonta Smith's four. Brown hasn't received fewer than six targets in consecutive games all year, so chances are good that Philly's leading receiver will be much more involved in the divisional round after posting a 67-1,079-7 line in only 13 regular-season contests.
Jan 10, 2025
Avoids injury designation
Brown (knee/rest) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Packers.
ANALYSIS
QB Jalen Hurts (concussion) and WR DeVonta Smith (back) also avoided injury designations, ensuring the Eagles will have all 11 starters on offense available this Sunday. The Green Bay defense isn't quite as healthy, notably missing top cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee), but the unit has mostly played well this season even with Alexander being unavailable more often than not.
Jan 10, 2025
Back at practice Friday
Brown (knee) is participating in Friday's practice, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown was limited in practice Wednesday then sat out Thursday's session, so it's encouraging to see him back on the field in some capacity Friday. Meanwhile, DeVonta Smith is not practicing Friday due to back tightness, but he's expected to be available for Sunday's wild-card round matchup against the Packers, while Jalen Hurts has cleared the concussion protocol. Friday's official injury report will reveal whether Brown's status is truly uncertain for Sunday's game, or whether his missed practices have been more related to maintenance.
Jan 9, 2025
Officially DNP on Thursday
Brown (knee/rest) didn't take part in practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
After not being seen at the open part of Thursday's session, Brown officially went down as a non-participant, one day removed from logging a limited practice due to knee and rest. The absence may have been related to maintenance of the knee issue that has lingered since Week 16 prep, but there's an expectation from the Eagles that he'll be available for Sunday's wild-card game versus the Packers, according to Tim McManus of ESPN.com. Friday's injury report will unveil whether or not Brown enters the weekend with a designation ahead of Philadelphia's playoff opener.
Jan 9, 2025
Not seen at practice
Brown (knee/rest) wasn't spotted during the media-access portion of Thursday's practice, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
After Wednesday's session, Brown was listed as limited due to knee/rest, which has been the norm for the wide receiver stretching back to Week 16 prep. While he played Weeks 16 and 17, he was held out of the Eagles' regular-season finale against the Giants along with a number of other starters. According to Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer, there's an expectation that Brown will suit up for Sunday's wild-card game against the Packers, so his potential absence Thursday may be related to maintenance. Philadelphia's upcoming injury report ultimately will reveal Brown's activity level, or lack thereof.
Jan 8, 2025
Limited Wednesday
Brown (knee/rest) was limited at practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Brown was listed with knee and rest on Eagles injury reports in advance of each of the team's final three games of the campaign. He suited up for the first two contests, combining for 11-133-2 on 20 targets between Weeks 16 and 17. With Philadelphia locked into the No. 2 seed in the NFC, though, he sat out along with a number of starters this past Sunday against the Giants. The Eagles are easing Brown into this week as well, but he'll have two more chances to get back to full participation before the team potentially tags him with a designation ahead of Sunday's wild-card game versus the Packers.
Jan 5, 2025
Not playing in Week 18
Brown (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Though he was listed as doubtful with a knee injury before being included on the Eagles' 11-player inactive list, Brown's absence is likely rest-related more than anything. The Eagles are locked into the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs and won't expose Brown to an injury in a meaningless regular-season finale. Brown should be ready to play a full complement of snaps in the Eagles' wild-card game against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.
Jan 3, 2025
Listed as doubtful
Brown (knee/rest) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Brown's absence will be for rest and injury avoidance more so than anything to do with his minor knee injury. He should be ready for a full workload in the wild-card round of the playoffs against Washington or Green Bay.
Jan 2, 2025
Another DNP on Thursday
Brown (knee/rest) didn't practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
During both Week 16 and 17 prep, Brown showed up on the Eagles' injury report Thursday as limited due to knee and rest before getting cleared ahead of the last two contests. This week, he's been a non-participant with the same listings, but the team isn't expected to play QB Jalen Hurts (concussion), RB Saquon Barkley and a number of other starters Sunday versus the Giants, so Brown very likely is among that group of players. Philadelphia may make a ruling on Brown's Week 18 status as soon as it posts it final report of the regular season Friday.
Dec 29, 2024
Catches late TD in win
Brown secured three of five targets for 36 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' 41-7 win over the Cowboys on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Brown's quiet day was salvaged by his 20-yard touchdown grab late in the third quarter, a pass thrown by No. 3 quarterback Tanner McKee after Kenny Pickett (ribs) was forced out of the contest. Brown's scoring catch was preceded by a spectacular one-handed would-be TD reception that was narrowly incomplete when the talented receiver's right foot didn't come down inbounds in the left corner of the end zone. The Eagles have now clinched the NFC East, and unless the No. 1 seed is still in play for them in a Week 18 home matchup against the Giants, it's likely Brown doesn't take part in all four quarters of that contest.
Dec 27, 2024
No designation for Sunday
Brown (knee/rest) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game versus the Cowboys.
ANALYSIS
For a second week in a row, Brown made an appearance on the Eagles' injury report midweek as limited due to knee/rest, but the scaled-back workload in one session again won't stop him from being available. That said, he will be working without QB Jalen Hurts, who wasn't able to practice this week due to a concussion that he sustained Week 16. Instead, Kenny Pickett (ribs) will be under center Sunday, but Brown still was able to put up an 8-97-1 line on 15 targets while working with the signal-caller for most of last Sunday's contest.
Dec 26, 2024
Limited by knee issue
Brown (knee/rest) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Brown similarly showed up on the Eagles' second practice report last week as limited with knee/rest before entering the weekend clear of a designation for this past Sunday's game at Washington. He proceeded to play all 74 snaps in the team's overtime loss on his way to eight catches (on 15 targets) for 97 yards and one touchdown while working most of the contest with Kenny Pickett (ribs) in place of Jalen Hurts (concussion) under center. Pickett seems poised to start for Hurts this weekend considering the latter hasn't practiced this week, so assuming Brown is able to suit up Sunday versus the Cowboys, he again should be on the receiving end of passes from Pickett.
Dec 22, 2024
Finds end zone against Washington
Brown caught eight of 15 targets for 97 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 36-33 loss to the Commanders.
ANALYSIS
The star wideout put together his second straight strong performance, but this time Brown did it with Kenny Pickett (ribs) under center for most of the afternoon -- including for a four-yard TD in the first quarter -- after Jalen Hurts (concussion) left the game early. Pickett also got hurt late in the contest, which means the Eagles could potentially have to turn to 2023 sixth-round pick Tanner McKee at quarterback in Week 17 against the Cowboys. Brown demonstrated he could work with Pickett with no significant issues, but McKee has yet to attempt a pass in the NFL, and he would represent a massive downgrade for the entire Philly offense.
Dec 20, 2024
Avoids injury designation
Brown (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Washington.
ANALYSIS
He never appeared in real danger of missing the game, listed under 'knee/rest' after a limited practice Thursday. Brown was limited again at Friday's practice but should be ready for his usual workload this Sunday as the Eagles look to clinch the NFC East.
Dec 20, 2024
Says he'll play
Brown (knee) said Friday that he'll play Sunday at Washington, Andrew DiCecco of InsideTheBirds.com reports.
ANALYSIS
As expected, given that the Eagles listed his injury as 'knee/rest' after a limited practice Thursday. Brown wasn't on the Wednesday report and doesn't sound worried about his knee.
Dec 19, 2024
Limited by knee injury
Brown (knee/rest) was limited in Thursday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Brown was listed as a non-participant at Wednesday's walk-through due to rest, so having his knee included as a reason for practice restrictions one day later indicates his health is compromised somewhat. The wideout was on the receiving end of an apparent hip-drop tackle and was slow to get to his feet late in this past Sunday's win against the Steelers. With an injury now evident, Brown's status will be monitored in advance of Sunday's Week 16 road matchup versus the Commanders.
Dec 15, 2024
Solid showing in win
Brown recorded eight receptions on 11 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Brown made headlines throughout the week after being critical of Philadelphia's passing offense, but he did his part to quiet that storyline by hauling in a season-best eight receptions while topping 100 yards for the fifth time in 11 contests. His performance was highlighted by long receptions 21, 20, 19 and 17 yards as well as a five-yard touchdown late in the first quarter. Brown's strong performance was almost soured late in the game when he got up slowly after an apparent hip-drop tackle, though he was spotted moving fine in the locker room following the win, per Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia.
Dec 8, 2024
Quiet against Carolina
Brown caught all four of his targets for 43 yards in Sunday's 22-16 win over the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
The fifth-year wideout tied for his lowest target volume of the season, but Brown still led the Eagles in receiving yards on a day in which Jalen Hurts threw for just 108 yards. With Saquon Barkley clearly the focal point of the Philly offense, it's become harder for Brown to make a big impact, and he's scored only one TD over the last seven games while posting a 32-512-1 line on 42 targets. He'll try to turn things around in Week 15 against the Steelers.
Dec 1, 2024
Silent in second half of win
Brown caught five of six targets for 66 yards in Sunday's 24-19 win over the Ravens.
ANALYSIS
Brown accounted for 66 of Jalen Hurts' 104 first-half passing yards, but Hurts threw for only 14 yards after halftime, with none of those going to Brown. While Brown has at least 65 receiving yards in eight of nine appearances this season, this was a disappointing performance from the star wideout considering the Ravens came into Sunday with the second-most receiving yards and second-most receiving touchdowns allowed to wide receivers. Brown will look to bounce back in Week 14 against the Panthers.
Nov 25, 2024
Cracks century mark and scores TD
Brown hauled in six of seven targets for 109 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 37-20 win over the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Brown tied his previous season-best mark of six receptions while recording his fourth 100-plus yard game in the process. The 27-year-old now sports a 39-727-4 receiving line through eight active games, which is a tick below the averages of 97 receptions, 1,476 yards and nine touchdowns the wideout averaged in his first two seasons with Philadelphia. Brown should continue to be treated as WR1 in fantasy when the Eagles take on the Ravens next Sunday.
Nov 14, 2024
Five catches in Week 11 win
Brown brought in five of eight targets for 65 yards in the Eagles' 26-18 win over the Commanders on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Brown tied Dallas Goedert for the team lead in receptions while setting the pace in receiving yards and targets. The star wideout was largely held in check by an improved Commanders defense, but he did hit the five-catch mark for the sixth time in seven games this season. Brown has now gone four games without a touchdown catch, however, a matter he'll look to rectify at the expense of the Rams in a Week 12 road matchup on Sunday night, Nov. 24.
Nov 10, 2024
Leading receiver in blwout win
Brown caught five of seven targets for 109 yards in Sunday's 34-6 win over the Cowboys.
ANALYSIS
Brown was the only offensive player for either squad to crack the century mark in yardage Sunday. It was a reassuring performance for managers after the star wideout missed practice earlier in the week with a barking knee. Brown remains one of the elite wideouts in the NFL heading into a Week 11 matchup against Washington on Thursday Night Football.
Nov 8, 2024
Clear for Week 10
Brown (knee) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game at Dallas.
ANALYSIS
The same can be said for DeVonta Smith (hamstring), who followed a DNP-LP-FP practice regimen this week, and Dallas Goedert (hamstring), who will putting an end to a three-game absence this weekend. With the Eagles offense back to full capacity for just the second time this season, Brown will have more competition for targets but may actually be put in better positions to succeed Sunday against a Cowboys defense that has allowed the ninth-most YPT (8.27) to opposing wide receivers on the campaign.
Nov 7, 2024
Logs full practice Thursday
Brown (knee) was a full practice participant Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Brown missed the second half of this past Sunday's game against the Jaguars due to a knee injury, and after undergoing an MRI on Monday, he was deemed day-to-day. He then was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough before logging every practice rep one day later, effectively clearing him ahead of Sunday's contest at Dallas. Fellow WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) followed up a DNP on Wednesday with a capped session Thursday, so a question mark remains in the Eagles' receiving corps for Week 10.
Nov 6, 2024
Officially limited Wednesday
Brown (knee) was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough.
ANALYSIS
After missing the second half of this past Sunday's win against the Jaguars due to a knee injury, Brown underwent an MRI that eventually revealed the issue to be a minor one that left him day-to-day. With a capped session behind him to start Week 10 prep, he's at least put himself on a path to being active Sunday in Dallas. Brown will have two more chances to get back to full participation this week.
Nov 6, 2024
Practicing Wednesday
Brown (knee) is practicing Wednesday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown got good news from an MRI after missing the second half of a 28-23 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. A Monday report from ESPN's Adam Schefter deemed the wideout day-to-day, with practice participation Wednesday now confirming Brown's injury is minor. Even a limited session puts him on the right track to play this Sunday at Dallas.
Nov 4, 2024
Considered day-to-day
Brown (knee) will be considered day-to-day, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown's tests on his knee came back clean, and Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer had previously reported that Brown wasn't looking at an extended absence. It sounds like Brown might have a real shot to play next Sunday against the Cowboys despite not playing the second half against the Jaguars in Week 9.
Nov 4, 2024
Not looking at extended absence
Brown (knee) is not expected to miss a significant amount of time, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
Coach Nick Sirianni refused to address the status of Brown in his session with the media Monday. Brown came out of the locker room after halftime but quickly went back down the tunnel early in the third quarter before the Eagles even took the field on offense. His day was over, and Brown was ruled out for the remainder of the Week 9 contest. Brown underwent an MRI on Monday, but it sounds like he avoided a serious injury. It's unclear what his availability will be for next Sunday's date with the Cowboys. Philly will return to practice Wednesday.
Nov 4, 2024
Scheduled for MRI
Brown is slated to undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the knee injury he sustained in Sunday's 28-23 win over the Jaguars, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown played 37 of the Eagles' 79 snaps on offense and recorded two receptions for 36 yards on four targets before being ruled out of the game shortly after halftime. According to Schultz, the Eagles' initial belief is that Brown's injury isn't too serious, but the MRI will shed further light on his health. The Eagles are entering a stretch of two games in five days, with the team set to play the Cowboys on Sunday in Week 10 before hosting the Commanders on Thursday in Week 11.
Nov 3, 2024
Won't return against Jaguars
Brown (knee) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
ANALYSIS
Brown was deemed questionable to return around halftime, and he has been downgraded to out for the remainder of the game. Further updates on Brown's knee injury will likely surface after the game. The Eagles have two NFC East rivalry games in the next 11 days, as they will travel to Dallas in Week 10 before hosting the Commanders on Thursday, Nov. 14 in Week 11.
Nov 3, 2024
Suffers knee injury Sunday
Brown left Sunday's game against the Jaguars with a knee injury.
ANALYSIS
Just before halftime, Brown was slow to get to his feet following a hit, and he didn't take the field for the second half, instead remaining in the locker room. If he's unable to return, he'll finish Week 9 with two catches (on four targets) for 36 yards. DeVonta Smith, Jahan Dotson, Ainias Smith and Johnny Wilson are the current healthy wide receivers for the Eagles.
Oct 27, 2024
Eclipses 80 receiving yards in win
Brown secured five of six targets for 84 yards in the Eagles' 37-17 win over the Bengals on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Brown finished just a reception and a yard shy of the team lead in those categories behind DeVonta Smith, extending his season-opening streak of 80+ yard games to four. However, the talented receiver was held without a touchdown for the first time his season, but he'll carry plenty of momentum and a seemingly safe floor into a Week 9 home matchup against a beatable Jaguars defense.
Oct 20, 2024
Finds end zone in Sunday's win
Brown caught all five of his targets for 89 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-3 win over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
The Eagles didn't need to air it out much in the rout, as Jalen Hurts only attempted 14 passes in total, and Brown wound up as the only Philadelphia pass-catcher with more than two receptions or 11 yards. Most of his production came in the first half, highlighted by a 41-yard score on a deep toss by Hurts down the sideline. Brown has found the end zone in all three of his games this season sandwiched around a three-game absence due to a hamstring injury, a streak he'll look to continue in Week 8 against the Bengals.
Oct 13, 2024
Big day in return to lineup
Brown caught six of nine targets for 116 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-16 win over the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Seeing his first action since straining a hamstring in the Eagles' season opener, Brown immediately re-established his chemistry with quarterback Jalen Hurts, with the wideout's return highlighted by a 22-yard TD in the second quarter. Brown has a stunning 11-235-2 line on 19 targets in his two games this year, and with Philly's passing game roaring to life, he could pop again in Week 7 against the Giants.
Oct 9, 2024
Logs full practice
Brown (hamstring) was a full practice participant Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
With no limitations coming out of a bye, Brown will play for the first time since Week 1 when the Eagles host the Browns this Sunday. Fellow wideouts DeVonta Smith (concussion) and Johnny Wilson (concussion) also were full practice participants, giving QB Jalen Hurts his full complement of pass catchers.
Oct 9, 2024
Practicing Wednesday
Brown (hamstring) was spotted at Wednesday's padded practice, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown tweaked his hamstring in advance of a Week 2 matchup with the Falcons and didn't get back on the practice field until Friday, Sept. 27. He then was ruled out one day later for a Week 4 visit to Tampa Bay, marking his third absence in a row. With the benefit of the Eagles' Week 5 bye, Brown and fellow WR DeVonta Smith (concussion) were participants at Wednesday's session, but their respective activity levels won't become known until the team posts its first Week 6 injury report.
Sep 28, 2024
Ruled out for Sunday
Brown (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Buccaneers, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
With both DeVonta Smith (concussion) and Brown out, the Eagles' passing attack will have to rely on a collective group of newcomers between Jahan Dotson, Johnny Wilson, Parris Campbell and John Ross. As a result, Saquon Barkley could be a featured option continuously out of the backfield, but should the Eagles find themselves behind early, it's anyone's guess as to who becomes the featured receiver.
Sep 27, 2024
Questionable after practicing
Brown (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay.
ANALYSIS
Brown returned to practice Friday as a limited participant, which could set up a game-time decision ahead of the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday. Fellow Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith (concussion) has been ruled out after missing practice all week, but he'll have a good chance to avoid multiple absences thanks to a Week 5 bye. It's possible the upcoming bye influences the team's approach to Brown, knowing he'll have two weeks to recover before the next game if he doesn't play this Sunday.
Sep 27, 2024
Returns to practice
Brown (hamstring) is stretching with his teammates and preparing to practice Friday, Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The extent of Brown's participation and how he feels afterward will determine whether he's given a real chance to return for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay. It's his first practice since Sept. 13, when he initially injured his hamstring a few days before the Eagles' Week 2 contest. Fellow Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (concussion) seems to be absent again Friday, making him unlikely to play this Sunday in Tampa.
Sep 26, 2024
Doesn't practice again Thursday
Brown (hamstring) didn't practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Brown and fellow WR DeVonta Smith (concussion) haven't mixed into any drills so far this week, leaving both trending in the wrong direction ahead of Sunday's visit to the Buccaneers. Friday's injury report could clear up any questions about Brown heading into the weekend, and if he misses a third straight game, the Eagles' receiving corps would be thinned out, especially if Smith also is inactive. With Britain Covey's (shoulder) placement on IR earlier this week, Jahan Dotson, Johnny Wilson and practice-squad members Parris Campbell, Danny Gray, Kyle Philips, John Ross and Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint would be the candidates to hold down the fort at wide receiver for Philadelphia in Week 4.
Sep 26, 2024
Not spotted at practice
Brown (hamstring) wasn't present at the start of Thursday's practice, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown hasn't taken part in drills since injuring his hamstring on Friday, Sept. 13, missing two games in the process. If he's listed as a non-participant again Thursday, he'll have just one more opportunity for on-field work this week. The same can be said for DeVonta Smith, who suffered a concussion this past Sunday in New Orleans. With Britain Covey (shoulder) landing on injured reserve Tuesday, Jahan Dotson and Johnny Wilson are the current healthy wide receivers on the Eagles' active roster.
Sep 25, 2024
Listed as non-participant
Brown (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
The Eagles confirmed that both Brown and DeVonta Smith (concussion) missed Wednesday's walkthrough, leaving Jahan Dotson, Parris Campbell and Johnny Wilson as the top wide receivers. Brown hasn't practiced since injuring his hamstring Friday of Week 2, and the continued absences suggest he's in real danger of missing a third straight game when the Eagles play at Tampa Bay on Sunday.
Sep 25, 2024
Not practicing Wednesday
Brown (hamstring) is not participating in the portion of Wednesday's walkthrough practice open to the media, Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown and DeVonta Smith (concussion) are both sitting out Wednesday's walkthrough practice. For his part, Brown has missed back-to-back games and hasn't practiced since Sept. 13, while Smith remains in the concussion protocol due to a hit suffered in Philadelphia's win over New Orleans in Week 3. While Brown's recovery progress will need to be monitored during the Eagles' upcoming Thursday and Friday practice sessions , it's worth noting the team will benefit from a Week 5 bye after Sunday's road matchup against the Buccaneers. If there are any lingering concerns about the star wide receiver's hamstring, Philadelphia could opt to give him extra rest and target Week 6 versus Cleveland for his return.
Sep 20, 2024
Ruled out
Brown (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game at New Orleans, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown hasn't practiced since injuring his hamstring last Friday and is now confirmed to be out for a second straight game. Fellow Eagles wideouts Jahan Dotson and Britain Covey both saw their snap shares rise from Week 1 to Week 2, but TE Dallas Goedert is the safest bet for targets and yards after star wideout DeVonta Smith. It's unclear at this point if Brown has a realistic chance to return for Week 4 at Tampa Bay on Sept. 29.
Sep 20, 2024
Not practicing
Brown (hamstring) isn't practicing Friday, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
He hasn't participated at all since injuring his hamstring during practice last Friday. Brown missed a loss to the Falcons on Monday and is unlikely to play against the Saints come Sunday.
Sep 19, 2024
Doesn't practice Thursday
Brown (hamstring) didn't take part in Thursday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Brown unsurprisingly has kicked off Week 3 prep with back-to-back absences due to a hamstring concern that he expects will sideline him for a few weeks. Friday's injury report may rule him out ahead of Sunday's contest at New Orleans, which would mark a second DNP in a row as a result of the issue he sustained in practice last Friday.
Sep 19, 2024
Not seen at practice Thursday
Brown (hamstring) wasn't present at the media-access portion of Thursday's practice, Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
If he indeed is listed as a non-participant for a second consecutive session to begin Week 3 prep, Brown will have just one more chance for on-field work Friday before the Eagles potentially make a ruling on his status for Sunday's game at New Orleans. Considering he told Lisa Salters of ESPN on Monday that he likely will miss a few weeks due to the hamstring injury that he sustained in practice last Friday, he may emerge from this week already ruled out for action this weekend.
Sep 18, 2024
DNP on Wednesday
Brown (hamstring) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated injury report.
ANALYSIS
Brown relayed to Lisa Salters of ESPN on Monday that he expects to be out a few weeks due to the hamstring injury that he suffered in practice last Friday and that held him out Week 2 against the Falcons. As such, it may be some time before Brown is able to mix into drills. In the meantime, WR DeVonta Smith, TE Dallas Goedert and RB Saquon Barkley will be the top pass catchers available to QB Jalen Hurts.
Sep 16, 2024
Expected to miss multiple weeks
Brown (hamstring) is expected to miss a couple weeks, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown tweaked his hamstring at Friday's practice. It sounds like the Eagles are planning on erring on the side of caution in order to avoid a lingering injury throughout the season. Assuming he does miss more time, DeVonta Smith, Jahan Dotson and Dallas Goedert figure to be the prime beneficiaries in targets.
Sep 15, 2024
Won't play Monday
Brown (hamstring) has been downgraded to out for Monday's game against the Falcons.
ANALYSIS
With Brown unavailable, DeVonta Smith and Jahan Dotson figure to lead the Eagles' Week 2 WR corps. Brown will target a potential return to action Sept. 22 against the Saints.
Sep 14, 2024
Officially questionable for Monday
Brown (hamstring) didn't practice Saturday, and he's been deemed questionable for Monday's contest against Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Eagles coach Nick Sirianni indicated earlier Saturday that Brown felt "tightness" in his hamstring during practice Friday and said that the team was going to exercise caution with the star receiver in Saturday's practice session. Brown ended up not participating in any capacity, but he hasn't been ruled out of playing on Monday Night Football. That puts fantasy managers in a tricky position since there isn't likely to be many viable options available on the waiver wire if Brown is ultimately held out.
Sep 14, 2024
Hamstring issue deemed 'tightness'
Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said Saturday that Brown "felt a little tightness" in his hamstring during Friday's practice, and the team intends to exercise caution with the wideout in practice Saturday, EJ Smith of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown was added to Philadelphia's injury report Friday due to the hamstring issue. While Sirianni's comments Saturday add clarity to the nature of the concern about the star receiver, they don't clarify the extent to which Brown is in danger of missing Monday's Week 2 game against Atlanta. More could be known in that regard following Saturday's practice, however, when Philadelphia will release its final injury report ahead of Monday Night Football.
Sep 13, 2024
Late addition to injury report
Brown was added to injury report Friday as a limited participant due to a hamstring injury.
ANALYSIS
It's a major concern for fantasy managers, especially with the Eagles playing Monday against Atlanta, at which point there weren't be many alternatives to fill in at wide receiver. Brown hadn't previously been listed on the injury report, so this suggests something happened during practice Thursday or Friday, although it may just be a minor injury. The Eagles will release their final Week 2 injury report Saturday afternoon/evening.
Sep 7, 2024
Scores monster TD in win
Brown had five receptions (10 targets) for 119 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 34-29 win over the Packers.
ANALYSIS
Brown ripped off a 67-yard touchdown catch for the Eagles that saw the star wideout outrun star defensive back Jaire Alexander to the pylons. The fantasy stud produced as if he was in mid-season form despite seeing no action this preseason. Fantasy managers who snagged Brown as one of their starting WRs should feel good about Friday's results in Brazil. A home matchup against the Falcons awaits in Week 2 on Sep. 16
Aug 15, 2024
Resting in preseason
Brown didn't play in Thursday's 14-13 preseason win over the Patriots.
ANALYSIS
Brown was joined by QB Jalen Hurts, fellow WR DeVonta Smith and RB Saquon Barkley on the sidelines as Philadelphia's top skill position players got the night off, as was also the case in the preseason opener. Regardless of whether Brown suits up in the preseason finale against the Vikings on Aug. 24, he's poised to maintain a key role come the regular season after racking up 2,952 receiving yards and 18 receiving touchdowns across his previous two regular seasons with the Eagles.
Apr 25, 2024
Lucrative extension with Philly
Brown (knee) signed a three-year, $96 million extension with the Eagles on Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Rumors emerged early in the offseason that Brown was on his way out of Philadelphia after a disappointing close to the 2023 campaign. He did his best to shut the speculation down, and this extension -- which reportedly includes $84 million in guaranteed money -- should squash any lingering doubt as to his future with the Eagles as he's now under contract through 2029. Brown -- who is bouncing back from a knee issue that he sustained in the Eagles' regular-season finale -- has had two standout seasons with the team, topping 1,450 in each year with 18 total touchdowns.
Feb 23, 2024
Wants to stay in Philly
Brown (knee) called into Sports Radio 94WIP on Friday to shut down trade rumors and say that he wants to stay with the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
Brown took matters into his own hands after hearing trade rumors from Philadelphia media on the heels of the Eagles' late-season meltdown. He was clear about not wanting to be traded and not having any issues with QB Jalen Hurts, and Brown also mentioned feeling like the team's coaches were unfairly blamed for a disappointing 2023. All the same, Philadelphia will have new coordinators on both sides of the ball in 2024, having hired Kellen Moore for the offense and Vic Fangio for the defense. Assuming he's right about the trade rumors being bogus, Brown will remain a central figure in the offense for the second season of his four-year, $100 million extension. The knee injury that kept him out of a wild-card loss to Tampa Bay isn't expected to impact his preparations for 2024, and Brown figures to be taken late in the first round or early in the second round of most fantasy drafts, just as he was last summer.
Jan 17, 2024
Standout season ends on sour note
Brown (knee) finished the 2023 season with 106 catches on 158 targets for 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns. He played in all 17 regular-season games but missed the 32-9 wild-card round loss to the Buccaneers due to a knee injury.
ANALYSIS
Brown injured his knee in Week 18 against the Giants, and while the injury kept him out of the playoff defeat, it isn't expected to impact his availability for the start of the 2024 season. The star wide receiver blew by his 2022 career high of 88 catches in 2023, though he finished with 40 fewer receiving yards and four fewer touchdowns compared to the previous season. Brown had a streak of six consecutive games with at least 127 yards starting in Week 3, which helped him post the fifth-highest receiving yardage total in the NFL. He'll turn 27 years old in June and projects to remain among the top performers at his position in 2024.
Jan 13, 2024
Confirmed out for Monday
Head coach Nick Sirianni confirmed Saturday Brown will not play in Monday's playoff matchup against the Buccaneers, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports.
ANALYSIS
Sirianni suggested the Eagles would attempt to get by without Brown by using a committee of targets including DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert, Julio Jones, Olamide Zaccheaus and Quez Watkins, but the initial two project to see the biggest increase in workload. With potentially inclement weather also impacting the playoff matchup in Tampa Bay, D'Andre Swift and the totality of the Eagles rushing attack figures to also see heavy usage.
Jan 13, 2024
Not expected to play Monday
Brown (knee) is not expected to play Monday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The Eagles haven't officially ruled out Brown, but multiple reports suggest the Pro Bowl wideout will be unavailable to play in the wild-card matchup against the Buccaneers come Monday. Once he's inevitably ruled out, expect the likes of DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert to be the team's primary focus from a passing perspective, with Julio Jones, Olamide Zaccheaus and Quez Watkins all factoring in as ancillary pieces.
Jan 12, 2024
Sitting out again Friday
Brown (knee) was absent from Friday's practice, Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown thus hasn't logged any on-field work since injuring his knee during the Eagles' Week 18 loss at the Giants, giving him one more chance to do so before the team potentially makes a ruling on his availability for Monday's wild-card game in Tampa Bay. He likely will do everything in his power to suit up in Philadelphia's postseason opener, but if Brown is limited or out, Julio Jones, Quez Watkins and Olamide Zaccheaus would be the candidates to get WR reps alongside DeVonta Smith.
Jan 11, 2024
Not practicing Thursday
Brown (knee) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
Since Brown left this past Sunday's loss at the Giants due to a knee injury, there hasn't been much intel regarding his health, other than a report from Mike Garafolo of NFL Network afterward in which Brown's issue wasn't believed to be a serious one. With three days to rest up before the Eagles' first session ahead of Monday's wild-card game in Tampa Bay, Brown focused on rehab versus on-field work Thursday, but he'll have two more chances to mix into drills and put himself on a path to play.
Jan 7, 2024
Knee injury likely minor
The knee injury Brown suffered in Sunday's 27-10 loss to the Giants isn't believed to be serious, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown exited in the first half of the regular-season finale but was the first player greeting players in the locker room after the game. Jalen Hurts (finger) also left in the first half, and while both players are more likely than not to be available for the wild-card round in Tampa Bay, Philadelphia's injury report heading into the playoffs will be worth monitoring to confirm their availability.
Jan 7, 2024
Not returning Sunday
Brown (knee) won't return to Sunday's contest at the Giants, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown stayed on the turf for a spell after his first catch of the game near the end of the first quarter. Eagles trainers tended to him before he limped to the sideline and then went to the locker room. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network later reported that Brown's ACL seems to be intact, but further testing will determine the extent of the injury. For the time being, Brown's status for the wild-card round is up in the air, as is fellow wide receiver DeVonta Smith (ankle), who's inactive Week 18.

Leaves Sunday with knee injury
Brown departed Sunday's game at the Giants due to a knee injury.
ANALYSIS
At the end of a nine-yard catch, his first of the contest, Brown lost a fumble and then remained on the turf in visible pain while Eagles trainers tended to one of his legs. He then limped off the field and spent some time in the sideline tent before the locker room visit. The extent of the injury isn't clear, but with DeVonta Smith (ankle) sidelined Week 18, the team may eventually downgrade Brown from questionable to out with the upcoming postseason in mind.
Dec 31, 2023
Paces PHI with 53 receiving yards
Brown finished with four receptions on five targets for 53 yards in Sunday's 35-31 loss to Arizona.
ANALYSIS
Brown finished as the Eagles' leading receivier after DeVonta Smith (foot) held that honor by one yard over Brown in last week's win over the Giants. Philadelphia's entire passing attack posted low-volume numbers Sunday, resulting in a pedestrian fantasy score for Brown's managers. The star wideout could be in store for a bump in usage this upcoming week against the Giants after the aforementioned Smith was seen using crutches after injuring his right foot late in Sunday's loss.
Dec 25, 2023
Leading receiver against Giants
Brown caught six of 11 targets for 80 yards in Monday's 33-25 win over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
He topped DeVonta Smith by one yard for the team lead, but the latter hauled in Jalen Hurts' only passing TD of the day. Brown hasn't scored a touchdown of his own in four straight games, posting a 28-344-0 line on 47 targets over that stretch. He'll look to break that drought in Week 17 against the Cardinals.
Dec 18, 2023
Modest numbers in Week 15 loss
Brown brought in five of 10 targets for 56 yards in the Eagles' 20-17 loss to the Seahawks on Monday night.
ANALYSIS
The star receiver tied DeVonta Smith for the team lead in receptions while pacing the Eagles in receiving yards and targets, but his numbers were naturally considered a disappointment overall. Brown was also the intended receiver on Jalen Hurts' downfield heave with 13 seconds remaining that culminated in Julian Love's game-sealing interception. Brown does have at least five catches in four consecutive games following his one-reception, eight-yard outlier against the Chiefs in Week 11, but he has just one touchdown reception in the last five contests overall. The fifth-year pro could have a good chance to bounce back against the Giants in a Week 16 home matchup on Christmas Day.
Dec 11, 2023
Busy night in Week 14 loss
Brown secured nine of 13 targets for 94 yards in the Eagles' 33-13 loss to the Cowboys on Sunday night. He also lost a fumble.
ANALYSIS
The Eagles offense turned in a disappointing effort as a whole, but Brown put together a productive night that featured team highs in receptions, receiving yards and targets. However, the talented wideout also fumbled on the Cowboys' 44-yard line after a seven-yard grab early in the third quarter, his first turnover of the campaign. Brown now has a 17-208 line over the last two contests affording him plenty of momentum going into a Week 15 road battle against the Seahawks on Dec. 18.
Dec 3, 2023
Leading receiver in loss
Brown (thigh) had eight receptions on 13 targets for 114 yards in Sunday's 42-19 loss to San Francisco.
ANALYSIS
Brown powered through a nagging thigh injury to produce his first 100-yard game since Week 8. Fellow starter DeVonta Smith caught Jalen Hurts' lone touchdown pass Sunday, but Brown finished with the team lead in targets (13) and yards (114). The star wideout's production had tapered off in recent weeks following a white-hot start to the campaign, so Sunday's gaudy receiving performance could get him back on track along with improved health. Expect Brown to be heavily involved when the Eagles face the Cowboys in a crucial NFC East matchup on Sunday Night Football in Week 14.
Dec 1, 2023
Cleared for flight
Brown (thigh) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
TE Dallas Goedert (arm) is listed as doubtful, but Jalen Hurts otherwise will have his favorite pass catchers available after all of them had practice limitations early in the week. There's been no indication that Brown's thigh injury is serious enough to limit his workload, and he managed at least limited participation in each practice this week.
Nov 30, 2023
Limited again Thursday
Brown (thigh) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Brown maintained his listed activity level from Wednesday, giving him one more chance this week to get back to full before the Eagles potentially hand him a designation ahead of Sunday's showdown with the 49ers. He was able to play through the thigh injury this past Sunday against the Bills on his way to a 5-37-1 line on nine targets on a 94 percent snap share. As a result, it'd be a surprise if Brown isn't available for a crucial Week 13 contest.
Nov 29, 2023
Still dealing with thigh injury
Brown (thigh) was listed as limited on Wednesday's estimated injury report.
ANALYSIS
Brown kicked off last week in a similar position with a cap on his reps at Wednesday's walkthrough, which he followed up with a limited listing Thursday and all activity Friday to avoid a designation for Week 12 action. He proceeded to handle a typical 94 percent of the snaps in this past Sunday's overtime win against the Bills on his way to five catches (on nine targets) for 37 yards and one touchdown. Brown's status will continue to be monitored to ensure he's on the same course ahead of Sunday's showdown with the 49ers.
Nov 26, 2023
Hauls in TD against Buffalo
Brown caught five of nine targets for 37 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 37-34 overtime win over the Bills.
ANALYSIS
He once again took a back seat to DeVonta Smith, but Brown still made an impact, hauling in a three-yard TD strike from Jalen Hurts in the third quarter as the Eagles began their second-half comeback. Brown has gone three straight games without reaching 100 receiving yards after his record-setting run of six straight weeks with 130-plus yards, but he could rebound if a Week 13 meeting with the 49ers turns into another barn burner.
Nov 24, 2023
Cleared for Week 12
Brown (thigh) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Brown upgraded to full participation Friday after being listed as limited the previous two days. He's coming off his first dud of the season -- one catch for eight yards in Monday's win over Kansas City -- but is already over 1,000 receiving yards for the campaign.
Nov 23, 2023
Another limited listing
Brown (thigh) was listed as limited on Thursday's injury report.
ANALYSIS
The Eagles are placing listed restrictions on Brown's activity level this week due to a thigh injury, and now Friday's practice report will reveal whether or not he heads into the weekend with a designation for Sunday's game versus the Bills. As one of four players in the NFL with at least 1,000 receiving yards this season, his status of course is of interest in the fantasy realm.
Nov 22, 2023
Tending to thigh issue
Brown was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough by a thigh injury.
ANALYSIS
Through 11 weeks of the current campaign, Brown has avoided showing up on Eagles injury reports, but he now is dealing with a health concern as the team prepares for Sunday's showdown with the Bills. He may need to be listed as a full participant Thursday and/or Friday in order to avoid a designation for that contest.
Nov 20, 2023
Just one catch in Week 11 win
Brown caught one of four targets for eight yards in Monday's 21-17 win over Kansas City.
ANALYSIS
Despite Brown's quiet night and the absence of starting tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm), Philadelphia improved to 9-1 thanks to three rushing touchdowns, as well as 99 receiving yards from DeVonta Smith, which tied Smith's second-highest total of the season. While Smith has exceeded 100 yards only once this season, Brown has done so six times, so the star wide receiver is likely to bounce back from this season-worst performance in Week 12 against the Bills.
Nov 5, 2023
Sees record yardage streak end
Brown caught seven of nine targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-23 win over the Cowboys.
ANALYSIS
While Brown scored his fourth TD in the last three games on a four-yard toss from Jalen Hurts late in the third quarter, the wideout's production still felt a little disappointing after he'd set an NFL record by topping 125 receiving yards in six straight contests. Brown heads into the Eagles' bye on pace for nearly 1,900 yards on the season, keeping him within striking distance of Calvin Johnson's all-time record of 1,964, but he'll face a tough matchup on the other side of the break in a Week 11 Super Bowl rematch with Kansas City.
Oct 29, 2023
Extends record streak Sunday
Brown brought in all eight targets for 130 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles' 38-31 win over the Commanders on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Brown put together another signature performance that included just enough yardage to surpass Lions great Calvin Johnson for most consecutive games with 125+ receiving yards (six). The big-bodied wideout recorded an acrobatic one-handed grab for his first touchdown from 16 yards out and later added a 25-yard grab for his second multi-score tally of the campaign. With a seemingly never-ending parade of prolific performances, Brown appears to be matchup-proof heading into a Week 9 showdown at home against the Cowboys.
Oct 22, 2023
Standout performance on SNF
Brown hauled in 10 receptions on 15 targets for 137 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-17 win over the Dolphins.
ANALYSIS
Brown and the Eagles came out victorious in a primetime battle between conference contenders that featured two of the league's top wideouts Sunday. The 26-year-old bested Tyreek Hill's 11-88-1 receiving line for the Dolphins as both superstars led their respective teams with 15 targets a piece. Brown has now recorded at least 125 receiving yards in five consecutive games, tying an unofficial league record shared by Calvin Johnson (2012) and Pat Studstill (1966). Brown will look to become the sole holder of that honor if he can produce another monster receiving line against the Commanders next Sunday.
Oct 15, 2023
Racks up 131 yards in loss
Brown had seven receptions on nine targets for 131 yards in Sunday's 20-14 loss to the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Brown produced his fourth consecutive game with 125 or more receiving yards despite Philadelphia taking its first loss Sunday. The 26-year-old also finished as the Eagles leading receiver despite his nine targets finishing third behind teammates DeVonta Smith (11) and D'Andre Swift (10). Brown's big receiving day brought his season line up to 42/672/2, with the lack of touchdowns being the only possible criticism through six strong weeks. Look for Philly's top receiver to be featured against the Dolphins next week when the two star-studded teams face off on Sunday Night Football in Week 7
Oct 8, 2023
Leads team with 127 yards
Brown finished with six receptions and 127 yards off of eight targets in Sunday's 23-14 win over the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Brown was unable to find the end zone Sunday after his two-score effort against the Commanders in Week 4. However, the star wideout produced his third consecutive triple-digit receiving day for fantasy managers following a mild start to the campaign. The red-hot Brown will now enter a Week 6 matchup against a tough Jets defense, but remains a must-start asset in fantasy.
Oct 1, 2023
Hauls in two long scores in OT win
Brown caught nine of 13 targets for 175 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 34-31 overtime win over the Commanders.
ANALYSIS
The former Titan topped 130 receiving yards for the second straight game and got into the end zone for the first time in 2023, hauling in a 59-yard bomb from Jalen Hurts in the third quarter before giving the Eagles a 31-24 lead with less than two minutes left in the fourth on a 28-yard TD. Brown has a 29-414-2 line on 43 targets through four games, and he could keep rolling in Week 5 against the Rams.
Sep 25, 2023
Racks up 131 yards in Week 3
Brown caught nine of 14 targets for 131 yards in Monday's 25-11 win over Tampa Bay.
ANALYSIS
After being limited to 29 receiving yards in Week 2 against the Vikings, Brown gained 28 on Philadelphia's first pass of the game. That play set the tone for Brown's fourth game over 130 receiving yards since the start of last season. He easily led the team in targets, catches and receiving yards while setting season highs in all three categories. Brown scored 11 touchdowns in 2022, but he's still looking for his first score of 2023 heading into a Week 4 home game against the Commanders.
Sep 15, 2023
Kept in check during Week 2 win
Brown secured four of six targets for 29 yards in the Eagles' 34-28 win over the Vikings on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Brown tied DeVonta Smith for second in receptions but was a distant runner-up to his fellow star wideout in receiving yardage. The big-bodied wideout's uninspiring line was partly the result of Jalen Hurts' modest 23 pass attempts and D'Andre Swift's standout 175-yard tally, however, and he'll remain a candidate for his first breakout of the season in a Week 3 road battle against the Buccaneers on Monday night, Sept. 25.
Sep 10, 2023
Leads way in rainy conditions
Brown recorded seven receptions on 10 targets for 79 yards in Sunday's 25-20 win over the Patriots.
ANALYSIS
Brown and DeVonta Smith each had exactly 10 targets and seven receptions, though Brown worked more as the big-play threat. Despite rainy conditions, he had long receptions of 23 and 15 yards, each of which was based primarily on run after the catch. Given the context and typically tough matchup, it was a solid start to the new campaign for Brown.
Aug 12, 2023
Not playing Saturday
Brown isn't expected to play in Saturday's preseason game in Baltimore, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
The Eagles starters aren't available for the team's exhibition opener, meaning Brown and DeVonta Smith will yield wide receiver reps to the likes of Quez Watkins, Olamide Zaccheaus and Devon Allen. Brown's next opportunity for game action is this coming Thursday versus the Browns.
Aug 3, 2023
Strong start to training camp
Brown has made numerous impressive plays in the Eagles' first few training camp practices, EJ Smith of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown and Jalen Hurts are picking up where they left off after the star receiver produced 1,496 yards and 11 touchdowns in his first season with the Eagles. The quarterback-receiver duo worked together in the offseason to further improve their chemistry, and that work seems to have paid off.
Feb 12, 2023
Catches long touchdown
Brown recorded six catches on eight targets for 96 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-35 Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Brown made his presence known early in the game when he made an impressive 45-yard grab for a touchdown to kick off the second quarter. He also chipped in some additional production, highlighted by a 22-yard reception just before halftime to set up a field goal. The effort capped Brown's first season in Philadelphia, during which he posted a career-best 88 receptions and 1,496 yards across 17 regular-season games.
Jan 29, 2023
Manages four catches in rout
Brown caught four of eight targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 31-7 win over the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game.
ANALYSIS
The Eagles' passing game never had to ramp it up, as Brock Purdy (elbow) got hurt early for the Niners and their offense struggled with journeyman Josh Johnson (concussion) under center. As a result, Brown had a second straight quiet playoff performance after reaching at least 70 yards in six straight games to close out the regular season. The hip issue that's slowed the fourth-year wideout in practice lately may have also been a factor, but Brown will have two weeks to heal up before the Super Bowl.
Jan 25, 2023
Clear of injury report
Brown (hip) isn't listed on the Eagles' first injury report ahead of Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the 49ers.
ANALYSIS
Brown was slow to get to his feet a few times during the later stages of this past Saturday's divisional-round win against the Giants. He touched on the subject Sunday, telling Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer that his left hip got banged up during the contest. According to McLane, Brown also said that he's "good to go" prior to Wednesday's walkthrough, which was confirmed now that his name wasn't included among Philadelphia's injured players on the active roster. Brown thus is set to face a San Francisco defense that was surprisingly yielding to wide receivers during the regular season, ranking 26th in yards per target (8.5) and tied for 26th in total touchdowns (18) allowed.
Jan 23, 2023
Downplays hip issue
Brown tweaked his left hip in Saturday's 38-7 win over the Giants in the divisional round, but he told the Eagles training and coaching staffs that he'll be fine moving forward, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
Because the Eagles raced out to a 28-0 halftime lead, Brown was afforded some rest late in the contest and finished the victory with three catches for 22 yards on six targets while playing 51 of 69 snaps on offense (73.9 percent). The hip issue doesn't look to be anything that will affect Brown's availability for the NFC Championship Game matchup with the 49ers this coming Sunday, but Brown could have his reps managed early on during the practice week as a precaution. By the time Sunday arrives, however, Brown should be ready to handle a full workload as the Eagles aim to return to the Super Bowl for the second time in six seasons.
Jan 21, 2023
Quiet in divisional-round win
Brown brought in three of six targets for 22 yards in the Eagles' 38-7 divisional-round win over the Giants on Saturday night.
ANALYSIS
Brown turned in a surprisingly middling showing in a game during which the Eagles offense was close to clicking on all cylinders. The Giants appeared to do a good job limiting Brown with help from star cornerback Adoree' Jackson, but fellow pass catchers DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert were able to take advantage. Brown will aim to atone for the quiet performance in an NFC Championship Game battle against either the Cowboys or 49ers a week from Sunday.
Jan 8, 2023
Leading receiver in win
Brown caught four of 10 targets for 95 yards in Sunday's 22-16 win over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Even with Jalen Hurts being held back in his return from a shoulder strain, Brown still nearly recorded his sixth 100-yard game of the season. The 25-year-old wideout wraps up his first regular season in Philadelphia with 88 catches on 145 targets for 1,496 yards, all career highs, and 11 touchdowns (tying the mark he hit in 2020), and he and Hurts will now get a week to rest with the Eagles having secured the top seed in the NFC and a first-round bye.
Jan 1, 2023
Breaks free for long touchdown
Brown recorded four catches on nine targets for 97 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Saints.
ANALYSIS
The Eagles offense was held in check for much of the day, and Brown had only two catches for 15 yards until late in the third quarter. Things changed quickly, however, as he had a catch and run of 78 yards to reach the end zone and account for the longest play of the day by either team. Brown has either a touchdown or 100 receiving yards in each of his last six games.
Dec 30, 2022
Good to go
Brown (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Brown and Miles Sanders (knee) both resumed full practice participation Friday and avoided injury designations for the game, while QB Jalen Hurts (shoulder) is listed as doubtful. Brown topped 100 yard last week in Minshew's first start of the season, albeit with teammate DeVonta Smith having an even bigger game in a close, shootout loss to the Cowboys.
Dec 29, 2022
Stays limited at practice
Brown (rest/knee) was a limited practice participant Thursday.
ANALYSIS
The Eagles have held back-to-back walkthroughs this week, for which Brown has had a cap on his reps. Josh Tolentino of The Philadelphia Inquirer noted that Brown was donning a compression sleeve on his left leg as he went through drills. Considering 'rest' was added next to Brown's name on Thursday's injury report, he may not be in any danger of sitting out Sunday against the Saints. Friday's report will reveal whether he has a designation ahead of that contest.
Dec 28, 2022
Limited by knee issue
Brown was limited at Wednesday's walk-through session due to a knee injury.
ANALYSIS
While the Eagles' No. 1 quarterback Jalen Hurts (shoulder) and running back Miles Sanders (knee) were listed DNPs, Brown at least was able to log some on-field reps as the team begins Week 17 prep. Brown has yet to miss a game this season and has seen at least 80 percent of the snaps in eight consecutive contests, so Philly may be capping his workload to keep him as healthy as possible ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Saints.
Dec 24, 2022
Another 100-yard performance
Brown hauled in six of eight targets for 103 yards during Saturday's 40-34 loss at Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Since a sparse Week 10 performance against the Commanders (one seven-yard catch on four targets), Brown has notched 100 receiving yards three times over the last six outings, with that trio all coming in the past four contests. Overall, during that six-game stretch, he's accrued a 36-579-4 line on 53 targets. And the most recent outburst from Brown occurred with Gardner Minshew and not Jalen Hurts (shoulder) under center. There's also a chance Hurts misses a Week 17 matchup with the Saints on Sunday, Jan. 1, but Brown's production doesn't appear to be bothered by the Eagles' quarterback play.
Dec 18, 2022
Career-high 181 yards in win
Brown caught nine of 16 targets for 181 yards in Sunday's 25-20 win over the Bears.
ANALYSIS
DeVonta Smith accounted for 104 of Jalen Hurts' 139 passing yards in the first half, while Brown turned his team-leading six targets into just two catches for 25 yards. In the third quarter, Brown got the Eagles down to the two-yard line with a 29-yard catch to set up Hurts' second rushing touchdown of the afternoon. Then in the fourth, a 68-yard catch helped Brown overtake Smith for the team lead in receiving yards for the game. Brown had a three-game touchdown streak snapped in this one, but the star wide receiver set a new single-game career high in receiving yards thanks to his 156-yard second half, giving him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 16 trip to Dallas.
Dec 11, 2022
Team-high receiving yardage Sunday
Brown secured four of six targets for 70 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' 48-22 win over the Giants on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Brown didn't come close to matching his stellar totals from the Week 13 win over his old Titans squad, but he still led the Eagles in receiving yards and secured his 10th touchdown of the season on a 33-yard grab just before the halfway point of the second quarter. Brown also eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark on the season with Sunday's production, and he'll carry a three-game streak with at least one scoring reception into a Week 15 road battle versus the Bears.
Dec 4, 2022
Crushes former team
Brown recorded eight receptions on 10 targets for 119 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 35-10 win over the Titans.
ANALYSIS
Brown faced Tennessee for the first time since being traded during the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He made his former team pay, delivering touchdowns of 40 and 29 yards to account for the majority of his production. While this marked only his third game of the season surpassing 100 receiving yards, Brown continues to find the end zone at a tremendous clip. He now has nine touchdowns for the season, six of which have come in his last six games.
Nov 28, 2022
Mixed results on SNF
Brown caught four of six targets for 46 yards and a touchdown Sunday, but he did lose a fumble in a 40-33 win over Green Bay.
ANALYSIS
Brown converted a short catch for a score -- his seventh of the campaign -- to help offset an early turnover in an eventual shootout victory. Overall, it was a step in the right direction after the star wideout produced just 67 yards and no scores over his last two contests. Jalen Hurts and Miles Sanders did the heavy lifting against the Packers' porous rush defense (300 combined rushing yards), but Brown and the passing attack may need to flip that script against the Titans' far-superior defensive front Sunday.
Nov 25, 2022
Cleared to play
Brown (illness) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Packers.
ANALYSIS
Brown returned to practice Friday as a full participant after being limited Thursday, but he did admit after practice that he was still feeling somewhat sick. While the illness might have some impact on his stamina/workload, Brown is cleared to play and belongs in most fantasy lineups.
Nov 25, 2022
Will practice Friday
Coach Nick Sirianni said Friday that Brown (illness) will be back at practice, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown missed Thursday's practice with an illness after avoiding the injury report entirely Wednesday, so it's encouraging to see him back and handling reps, even if he ultimately does so in a limited fashion. It remains to be seen whether Brown will officially receive an injury designation for Sunday night's contest against the Packers, but that information will be revealed alongside Philadelphia's final practice report of the week Friday afternoon. Meanwhile, DeVonta Smith (knee) was limited Thursday.
Nov 24, 2022
Comes down with illness
Brown was listed as a non-participant on Thursday's practice report due to an illness.
ANALYSIS
After avoiding the report entirely Wednesday, Brown now is dealing with some sort of ailment. He'll have one more practice and two more days to get healthy enough to be cleared for Sunday's game against the Packers. If Brown is limited or out this weekend, DeVonta Smith would become the Eagles' No. 1 wide receiver by default, but he also was added to Thursday's report as limited by a knee injury. As a result, the situation will be one to watch as the week continues to get a sense of both players' potential to play.
Nov 20, 2022
Contained on the road
Brown caught five passes for 60 yards on seven targets against Indianapolis on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The Colts doubtlessly tried to roll their coverage toward Brown, and they had some measure of success in doing so, containing Brown and reducing the Philadelphia passing game to a grinding effort instead of its usual big-play tendencies. Brown's abilities make him almost matchup-proof as long as the Eagles can keep Jalen Hurts upright, so a bigger game against Green Bay in Week 12 would make a lot of sense.
Nov 18, 2022
Avoids injury designation
Brown (ankle/rest) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Colts, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown reportedly rolled his ankle in the first half last week when he caught only one pass for seven yards in a loss to Washington, but he managed limited practices Wednesday and Thursday before upgrading to full participation Friday. Fellow wideout DeVonta Smith (knee) also avoided an injury designation and should be fine to handle his usual role Sunday against CB Stephon Gilmore and the Colts.
Nov 17, 2022
Another limited practice
Brown (ankle/rest) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday.
ANALYSIS
During the media-access portion of the session, both Brown and DeVonta Smith (knee) were spotted hauling in passes during individual drills, per Josh Tolentino of The Philadelphia Inquirer. Both wide receivers maintained their activity level for a second straight day, which, in Brown's case, isn't a surprise after he rolled his ankle during this past Monday's loss to the Commanders. In the end, Friday's injury report will reveal whether or not Brown enters the weekend with a designation for Sunday's contest at Indianapolis.
Nov 16, 2022
Limited by ankle issue
Brown (ankle) was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough practice.
ANALYSIS
Despite rolling his ankle this past Monday against the Commanders, Brown stayed in the game and managed an 81 percent snap share on his way to one catch (on four targets) for seven yards. He told Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia on Wednesday that he expects to be OK and will be able to play Sunday at Indianapolis. Still, Brown's practice reps may be capped Thursday and Friday, after which the Eagles could hand him a designation for Week 11.
Nov 16, 2022
Rolls ankle, should be OK
Brown rolled his ankle during Monday's loss to Washington but expects to be fine for Sunday's game against the Colts, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
The injury helps explain his lack of production Monday night, though the Commanders also get some credit for their recent improvement on defense. Brown reportedly had his ankle wrapped Wednesday morning but isn't worried about missing time apart from practice this week. He'll presumably be listed on Philadelphia's injury report.
Nov 14, 2022
Held to one catch in loss
Brown caught one of four targets for seven yards in Monday's 32-21 loss to the Commanders.
ANALYSIS
Brown spent some time on the sideline after coming out of his break awkwardly on a route early in the game. He promptly returned but didn't seem to be 100 percent, which explains his lack of production against the mediocre Washington secondary. A tougher on-paper matchup awaits in Week 11 against the Colts, but Brown's ability to produce will be impacted more by his health than the opposition, as he came into this one with five touchdowns over the previous three games, and this was only his second game with fewer than 50 receiving yards as a member of the Eagles.
Nov 3, 2022
Finds end zone again Thursday
Brown secured four of six targets for 59 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' 29-17 win over the Texans on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Brown checked in second to Dallas Goedert in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the night, and he recorded his fifth touchdown in the last three games when he brought in a 17-yard scoring strike just before the halfway point of the third quarter to snap a 14-14 tie. Although Brown's stat line was modest overall on a night when Jalen Hurts focused heavily on Dallas Goedert with success, the star wideout naturally remains an elite fantasy asset in any format and should be heavily involved during a Week 10 home divisional clash against the Commanders on Monday night, Nov. 14.
Oct 30, 2022
Three touchdowns in easy win
Brown recorded six receptions on 11 targets for 156 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 35-13 win over the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Brown scored each of Philadelphia's first three touchdowns, finding the end zone for 39, 27 and 29 yards. He narrowly missed another score early in the fourth quarter when he ripped off a 43-yard reception before being tackled at the three. All told, Brown topped 100 receiving yards for the first time since Week 1 and brought his touchdown total on the campaign to five.
Oct 17, 2022
Leading receiver on SNF
Brown caught five of eight targets for 67 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-17 win over the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
Brown rebounded in a big way after turning in his lowest fantasy point total of the season against the Cardinals last week. The 25-year-old led the Eagles in targets and receiving yards while his running mate, DeVonta Smith (5/44/1), finished a close second. The dynamic receiving duo have been as advertised through six weeks with early MVP candidate, Jalen Hurts, navigating this talented offensive unit into the bye week. Brown and his healthy 33/503/2 line will resume action in Week 8 against the Steelers.
Oct 9, 2022
First down game of the season
Brown caught three passes for 32 yards on seven targets against Arizona on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The Eagles offense fell short of expectations in this game against an Arizona defense that struggled most of 2022, and Brown unfortunately saw his production pinched as DeVonta Smith (10 catches for 87 yards on 11 targets) and Dallas Goedert (eight catches for 95 yards on nine targets) got the best cuts of the Philadelphia passing game Sunday. Brown's immense talent can't be contained for long, so he's a good candidate to bounce back even as soon as Week 6, though hopefully the Philadelphia offensive line gets a bit more healthy so Brown can get loose on some deeper targets.
Oct 2, 2022
Leads receivers with 95 yards
Brown had a game-high 95 yards on five receptions (seven targets) in Sunday's 29-21 win over the Jaguars.
ANALYSIS
Brown remains quarterback Jalen Hurts' favorite weapon early on, finishing with the team lead in targets for third time in four contests. The 25-year-old continues to thrive with his new club while playing alongside fellow star wideout DeVonta Smith. Brown is averaging a whipping 101.0 yards per game heading into a favorable matchup against Arizona's pass defense next Sunday.
Sep 25, 2022
First touchdown with new team
Brown caught five passes for 85 yards and one touchdown on 10 targets against Washington on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The touchdown was Brown's first with the Eagles, but Brown's peripheral stats to this point and the production of the Eagles passing game in general give reason to believe many more touchdowns are on the way. Through three games Brown has 20 catches for 309 yards and the touchdown on 31 targets, which is a very healthy target rate -- a major improvement over the per-game target numbers he saw previously in Tennessee. If Jalen Hurts keeps playing as well as he has then usage like this will bring Brown yardage and touchdowns both.
Sep 19, 2022
Quieter in Week 2 win
Brown secured five of eight targets for 69 yards in the Eagles' 24-7 win over the Vikings on Monday night.
ANALYSIS
Brown was tied with Dallas Goedert for second in receptions on the night for the Eagles and led the way in targets, but unlike Week 1, he shared the wealth with fellow wideout DeVonta Smith. The big-bodied receiver also had a brief visit to the medical tent in the first half for an undisclosed issue per Adam Schefter of ESPN, but he returned to the game shortly thereafter. Brown and Jalen Hurts are clearly in sync two games into their working relationship, and despite the presence of other talented options in the air attack, the prized offseason addition should be set for another big role in a Week 3 divisional road clash with the Commanders.
Sep 11, 2022
Spectacular in Eagles debut
Brown brought in 10 of 13 targets for 155 yards in the Eagles' 38-35 win over the Lions on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The star wideout wasted no time making an impact in his first taste of regular-season action as a member of the Eagles, kickstarting his afternoon with four receptions for 62 yards on Philadelphia's second possession and going on to record game-high reception, receiving yardage and target totals. Brown had a game-long 54-yard grab for good measure, the particularly voluminous target share he enjoyed Sunday isn't necessarily to be the norm, considering fellow wideout DeVonta Smith was held without a catch on four targets and promising slot man Quez Watkins didn't log a single look. However, Brown will undoubtedly play another big role in a Week 2 home showdown against the Vikings on Monday night, Sept. 19.
Aug 27, 2022
Not expected to play Saturday
Brown is unlikely to play in Saturday's preseason finale versus the Dolphins with coach Nick Sirianni expected to sit Eagles starters, Josh Tolentino of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown's next game action will arrive Week 1 against the Lions on Sunday, Sept. 11. In his first season with the Eagles, the 2019 second-rounder is slated to log plenty of snaps and targets from quarterback Jalen Hurts while working alongside fellow wideout DeVonta Smith.
Aug 21, 2022
Not expected to play Sunday
With the Eagles in line to rest key starters, Brown isn't expected to play in Sunday's preseason game against the Browns, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
Per Josh Tolentino of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Quez Watkins, Jalen Reagor, Zach Pascal, Britain Covey, John Hightower, Devon Allen and Deon Cain were the Philadelphia receivers spotted in uniform during warmups and it looks like they'll handle WR reps on Sunday.
Aug 4, 2022
Dominating camp
Brown has been Jalen Hurts' go-to target through six practices, including a lot of quick passes that allow the receiver to pick up yards after catch, ESPN.com's Tim McManus reports.
ANALYSIS
Nothing less was expected after the Eagles traded away first- and third-round picks then gave Brown a four-year, $100 million extension. He's a threat at every level of the field, finding different ways to use his unusual strength and toughness to beat up on defensive backs. The Eagles also need to make room for second-year WR DeVonta Smith and TE Dallas Goedert, along with a running game that carried the offense late last season, but there's zero question Brown is the favorite to lead the team in targets. The massive contract and long-standing friendship with Hurts don't hurt.
Apr 28, 2022
Part of blockbuster trade to Philly
Brown was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles for the 18th overall pick and a third-round selection in the 2022 NFL Draft, Dianna Russini of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Philadelphia used one of its first-round picks to move up and select nose tackle Jordan Davis. Then, the team used its other to bolster the skill positions in a big way by securing one of the best young wide receivers in the league in Brown. Now in Philadelphia, Brown stands to lead a promising receiving corps that also features DeVonta Smith, giving quarterback Jalen Hurts a dynamic top two at the position. As part of the deal, Brown will ink a four-year, $100 million extension, with $57 million guaranteed, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Apr 18, 2022
In line to skip offseason workouts
Brown isn't expected to participate in any on-field work during Titans' offseason program, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
ANALYSIS
The 2019 second-rounder, who is approaching the final year of his rookie deal with the team, is in line for a lucrative second NFL contract, especially considering some of the big payouts that fellow star wideouts have earned of late. With that in mind, ESPN's Turron Davenport relays that Brown doesn't plan to report for the start of the Titans' voluntary offseason program Monday. Though there's been some speculation that Tennessee might consider trading the 24-year-old, Dianna Russini of ESPN reported earlier this month that GM Jon Robinson is not taking calls from other teams on Brown, with Davenport adding that it's Robinson's stated goal to keep the talented pass catcher around beyond 2022. In 13 games last season, the 6-foot-1, 226-pounder caught 63 of his 105 targets for 869 yards and five TDs.
Mar 2, 2022
Preliminary extension talks
Brown and the Titans have engaged in preliminary extension talks, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown is entering the final year of his rookie deal, and it comes as little surprise that the Titans hope to ensure he doesn't reach free agency. Brown has served as a key to the passing offense in Tennessee since being a second-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, topping 50 receptions and 850 receiving yards in each of his three seasons. That primary thing slowing Brown down has been injury, as he has dealt with chest, knee and hamstring issues in recent campaigns. Nevertheless, he should be in line for a lucrative long-term extension given his notable production prior to the age of 25.
Jan 22, 2022
Big performance in loss
Brown recorded five receptions on nine targets for 142 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 19-16 divisional-round loss to the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
Brown matched his counterpart Ja'Marr Chase with several explosive plays, highlighted by a one-handed 33-yard touchdown reception late in the third quarter. Prior to that, he also logged catches of 41 and 40 yards to account for the majority of his production. Though the campaign ends in disappointing fashion for the top-seeded team in the AFC, Brown recorded either a touchdown or topped 100 receiving yards in three of his last four games. His overall numbers fell in his third professional season -- in large part due to missing four games with hamstring and core injuries -- but he appears to be heading into the offseason healthy and will return to be the top receiver in Tennessee in 2022.
Jan 9, 2022
Helps lock in top seed
Brown recorded four receptions on six targets for 68 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-25 win over the Texans.
ANALYSIS
Brown recorded a 14-yard touchdown -- with most of the yardage coming after the catch -- just before halftime to find the end zone for the fifth time this season. He also posted lengthy receptions of 24 and 16 yards to account for the majority of his production on the day. Brown had a disappointing season that was interrupted by chest and hamstring injuries, though he'll now head into the postseason having scored in two of his final three contests.
Jan 2, 2022
Quiet against Dolphins
Brown recorded two receptions for 41 yards on five targets in Sunday's 34-3 win over the Dolphins.
ANALYSIS
Brown turned in a poor performance from every angle. His primary problem was a lack of volume, as the Titans jumped out to an early lead leaving Ryan Tannehill to attempt only 18 passes. However, Brown converted less than half of his targets into catches, and he was held to 50 or fewer yards for the seventh time in 12 games on the campaign. Brown and the Titans could be in for a similar game script in Week 18 with a matchup against the Texans.
Dec 31, 2021
Cleared for Week 17
Brown (calf) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Dolphins after practicing fully Friday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown is thus good to go and in line to see plenty of action in Week 17, regardless of whether fellow wideout Julio Jones comes off the reserve/COVID-19 list. In the Titans' Week 16 win over the 49ers, Brown racked up 11 receptions on 16 targets for 145 yards and a touchdown.
Dec 31, 2021
Back at practice
Brown (calf) returned to practice Friday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Meanwhile, the star wideout downplayed the calf issue that led to him sitting out Thursday's session. Friday's final injury report is thus slated to clarify whether Brown approaches Sunday's game against the Dolphins with a Week 17 injury designation or fully cleared to play.
Dec 30, 2021
Added to injury report
Brown (calf) didn't practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown practiced fully Wednesday, but his absence from Thursday's session makes his status for Sunday's game against the Dolphins worth monitoring closely. The Titans can ill-afford to be without Brown this weekend, especially considering that fellow wideouts Julio Jones and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine are currently on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Dec 24, 2021
Energizes Tennessee's comeback
Brown tallied 11 receptions on 16 targets for 145 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 20-17 win over San Francisco.
ANALYSIS
Brown was activated from injured reserve ahead of the game Thursday, and he took the field for the first time since Week 11. He was involved in the offense throughout the contest, though he had recorded only five receptions for 24 yards through the first two quarters. However, he inspired an impressive Titans' comeback in the second half, highlighted by a 42-yard reception late in the third quarter and subsequently an 18-yard touchdown catch to cap the same drive. All told, it was Brown's second double-digit reception performance of the season, and the third time he's topped 100 receiving yards. Though Brown has had his season interrupted by injury, his performance should provide confidence that he will end the campaign in strong form.
Dec 23, 2021
Activated from IR
Brown (chest) has officially been activated off IR by the Titans, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
With that, Brown is slated to play Thursday night against the 49ers, marking his first game action since Week 11. Meanwhile, Julio Jones is free of a Week 16 injury designation, meaning that the Titans -- who head into the contest with a depleted offensive line -- are, on the plus side, in line to have both of their top two wideouts available, which bolsters the offense as a whole, as well as the fantasy prospects of QB Ryan Tannehill.
Dec 23, 2021
On track to play Thursday
The Titans plan to activate Brown (chest) from IR in advance of Thursday night's game against the 49ers, Nick Shook of NFL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown, who last suited up in Week 11, didn't experience any setbacks at practice this week and is thus in line to be officially activated later Thursday, setting the stage for him to play versus San Francisco. With teammate Julio Jones free of a Week 16 injury designation, the Titans are poised to have their top two wideouts available, which should provide the team's offense with a big lift down the stretch.
Dec 22, 2021
Trending toward playing Thursday
Tennessee is expected to reinstated Brown (chest) from injured reserve ahead of Thursday's game against the 49ers, barring any setbacks in practice Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Sidelined since suffering a chest injury Week 11, Brown was designated to return from IR on Monday, with the move opening up a 21-day window for the Titans to evaluate him in practice. Based on how Brown has checked out during his first two walk-through sessions, the Titans aren't expected to need the full window to assess his health, and the 24-year-old wideout looks like he may even be ready to play on a short week. If the team plans on having Brown suit up against San Francisco, he won't have to be activated until a few hours prior to Thursday's 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff, so official word on his Week 16 status may not arrive for another day. Brown's return in any capacity Thursday would be a big boon to a decimated Titans pass-catching corps that could be without Julio Jones, who aggravated a hamstring injury in last week's loss to the Steelers.
Dec 21, 2021
Joining walkthrough Tuesday
Brown (chest) will take part in the Titans walkthrough during Tuesday's practice with the aim of getting him some "speed" during the week before determining his status for Thursday's game against the 49ers, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown at least remains in consideration to suit up Thursday after seeing his 21-day evaluation window opened Monday. His estimated level of participation Tuesday should provide a clearer picture of his status, though his activation from injured reserve would be a better indication that he's ready to retake the field.
Dec 20, 2021
Ready to practice
Tennessee designated Brown (chest) for return from injured reserve Monday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
The transaction opens up a 21-day window for Brown to be evaluated in practice and makes the wideout eligible to rejoin the 53-man roster as soon as the Titans' Week 16 game against the 49ers on Thursday. If Brown shows enough progress in his recovery from the chest injury during practice this week to put an end to his three-game absence against San Francisco, he should immediately step back in as Tennessee's No. 1 pass catcher. Brown's potential return Thursday would be an especially welcome development after fellow receiver Julio Jones suffered another setback with his hamstring injury in Tennessee's Week 15 loss to Pittsburgh, leaving the latter's availability in question.
Nov 27, 2021
Lands on injured reserve
Brown (chest) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Brown was already ruled out for Sunday's matchup with the Patriots, and he'll now be sidelined for at least two additional games with the chest injury. The Titans have their bye Week 13, so the 24-year-old will have an extra week to recover before being eligible to return Dec. 23 against San Francisco. It's another huge blow to Tennessee's receiving corps, as Brown is joining Julio Jones (hamstring) and Marcus Johnson (hamstring) on IR. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Chester Rogers and Dez Fitzpatrick will be the team's top wide receivers for the foreseeable future.
Nov 26, 2021
Ruled out for Week 12
Brown (chest) won't play Sunday against the Patriots, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
With Brown unavailable and Julio Jones and Marcus Johnson both on IR with hamstring injuries, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Chester Rogers and Dez Fitzpatrick are in line to head the Titans' Week 12 wideout corps. Brown will thus target a potential return to action after the team's bye week, when Tennessee hosts Jacksonville on Dec. 12.
Nov 26, 2021
Not seen on field Friday
Brown (chest) wasn't spotted at the open portion of Friday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
If he officially has a DNP next to his name Friday, Brown likely will head into the weekend with at least a questionable tag for Sunday's game at New England. In a receiving corps that already is down Julio Jones (hamstring) and Marcus Johnson (hamstring) due to being on injured reserve, the Titans have just Chester Rogers, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Dez Fitzpatrick as healthy wide receivers on the active roster.
Nov 25, 2021
Listed as DNP on practice estimate
Brown (chest) was listed as a non-participant on Thursday's practice estimate, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
With Brown -- who left this past Sunday's game with a chest injury and did not return -- now having logged back-to-back 'DNP' listings, what the wideout is able to do at practice Friday will be telling with regard to his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Patriots. Given that Julio Jones and Marcus Johnson are both on IR with hamstring injuries, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Chester Rogers and Dez Fitzpatrick currently profile as the Titans' top healthy wide receiver options.
Nov 24, 2021
Not practicing Wednesday
Brown (chest) wasn't spotted at practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
The wideout was forced out of this past weekend's loss to the Texans due to a chest injury, plus he previously exited the contest with a hand issue. With Brown not participating in Wednesday's practice, his status will need to be monitored closely as Sunday's game against the Patriots approaches. When available, Brown profiles as the top option in Tennessee's banged up offense.
Nov 22, 2021
X-rays negative
Brown (chest) received negative X-ray results Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown was forced out of Sunday's 22-13 loss to the Texans due to a chest injury, and while he still has to undergo further medical evaluation, early test results have at least been promising. He also suffered a hand injury earlier in the contest. The Titans are set for a Week 12 matchup against New England, so Brown's status will warrant closely monitoring in the coming days.
Nov 21, 2021
Exits game with chest injury
Brown was forced out of Sunday's game against the Texans with a chest injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown hurt his hand earlier in the contest, but returned and now he's dealing with a chest issue. Prior to his second exit from the game, the wideout had hauled in five of his nine targets for 48 yards.
Nov 21, 2021
Returns to Sunday's game
Brown, who injured his hand during the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Texans, was subsequently able to return to the contest, John Glennon of BroadwaySportsMedia.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Great news for the Titans, who can ill-afford to lose Brown, with fellow wideout Julio Jones (hamstring) currently on IR and star running back Derrick Henry out indefinitely following foot surgery.
Nov 21, 2021
Hurts hand Sunday
Brown injured his hand during the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Texans, John Glennon of BroadwaySportsMedia.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown attempted to play through the issue on the Titans' first possession but eventually visited the locker room. He returned to the sideline, but after sitting on bench he went to the blue medical tent. It appears Brown and the Titans are doing everything possible to make sure the third-year pro is available, but if he's unable to return he'll finish Week 11 with no catches on one target.
Nov 14, 2021
Shut down by Saints
Brown recorded one reception on four targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 23-21 win over the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Brown failed to top five targets and multiple receptions in a full game for the first time on the campaign. His lone contribution to the victory came late in the second quarter on a trick play that began with a direct snap to Adrian Peterson that resulted in a 16-yard catch for Brown. Making Brown's performance even more surprising was the fact that Marshon Lattimore did not travel with him for much of the game, as reported by Turron Davenport of ESPN.com. Brown will look to bounce back in a positive matchup in Week 11 against Houston.
Nov 11, 2021
Returns to full practice
Brown (knee) practiced fully Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After being limited Wednesday, Brown returned to a full session Thursday, which sets the stage for him to be available for Sunday's game against the Saints. The wideout has been targeted 11 times in each of his last two outings and barring any injury setbacks he's in line to remain a high-volume option in a Tennessee offense no longer paced by star running back Derrick Henry, who is currently on IR with a foot injury.
Nov 10, 2021
Limited at practice Wednesday
Brown (knee) was limited at practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown, who missed practice this past Friday and was listed as questionable heading into Week 9 action, suited up for Sunday night's win over the Rams, en route to catching five passes (on 11 targets) for 42 yards, while logging a 78 percent snap share. With no reported setbacks in the contest, there's a pretty good chance that Brown's Wednesday limitations were maintenance-related.
Nov 8, 2021
Leads team in receiving yards
Brown (knee) had five receptions (11 targets) for 42 yards in Sunday's 28-16 win over the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Brown's stat line looks poor on paper, but the wideout had to deal with shutdown corner Jalen Ramsey while dealing with a minor knee injury, and he still led the Titans in targets and receiving yardage. Tennessee didn't have to pass much in what turned out to be a lopsided contest spearheaded by a dominant defensive performance, so an unfavorable game script is also to blame. Overall, Brown should see heavy usage in the second half of the season following the news of Derrick Henry (foot) being shut down for the immediate future.
Nov 7, 2021
Suiting up in Week 9
Brown (knee) is listed as active for Sunday night's game against the Rams, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports
ANALYSIS
As is Julio Jones, who was inactive last weekend but didn't carry a Week 9 injury designation heading into the contest. Meanwhile, Brown was deemed questionable by the Titans after sitting out practice Friday, but he'll give it a go Sunday and figures to maintain his key role in the team's passing offense in the absence of any in-game setbacks, with Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Marcus Johnson and Chester Rogers on hand to work in complementary roles behind Brown and Jones.
Nov 7, 2021
Expected to be available
Brown (knee), who missed practice Friday, is expected to play Sunday night against the Rams, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Per Rapoport, Brown "should be fine" to play in the contest and if he does, he'll be rejoined by Julio Jones, who does not carry a Week 9 injury designation. Either way, those considering Brown in fantasy lineups this week are advised to verify his status in advance of Sunday's 8:20 ET kickoff. Fellow wideouts Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Marcus Johnson and Chester Rogers are options for those looking to secure an emergency plug-in, as are receivers from the Rams and the Monday night teams (Bears, Steelers).
Nov 5, 2021
Listed as questionable after Friday DNP
Brown, who practiced fully Wednesday and Thursday, was added to the Titans' Week 9 injury report as questionable for Sunday night's game against the Rams after missing practice Friday with a knee issue.
ANALYSIS
On the plus side for the Titans, fellow wideout Julio Jones (hamstring) does not carry an injury designation heading into the weekend, but given that he was a late addition to the team's injury report, Brown's status is worth monitoring as Sunday night's 8:20 ET kickoff approaches. Added context regarding his Week 9 status should arrive late Saturday or early Sunday once national reporters like Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport issue their weekly injury updates.
Nov 5, 2021
Listed as questionable for SNF
Brown (knee) didn't practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game against the Rams. Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
However, Wyatt adds that Brown -- who practiced fully both Wednesday and Thursday -- is expected to play in the contest and if that's the case he'll work in tandem with fellow starting wideout Julio Jones, who does not carry a Week 9 injury designation. The Titans figure to lean heavily on the duo in the coming weeks, with star running back Derrick Henry on IR and out indefinitely with a foot injury.
Oct 31, 2021
Posts monster numbers in OT win
Brown caught an impressive 10 of 11 targets for 155 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-31 overtime win over the Colts.
ANALYSIS
Brown missed two days of practice for undisclosed reasons, but he clearly was not hampered physically based on the monstrous line he dropped on the Colts. His day was highlighted by an impressive 53-yard catch and run where he burned multiple defenders en route to the end zone. Brown has really picked things up over the last three weeks following a mild start to the season, posting 25 receptions, 379 yards, two touchdowns and an impressive 86 percent catch rate over that span. The star wideout will face his stiffest test of the season lining up against Jalen Ramsey when the Titans take on the Rams next Sunday, but no matchup should deter Brown managers from starting the wideout with the tear he is currently on.
Oct 29, 2021
Cleared for Sunday action
Though he didn't practice Friday, Brown (knee) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Colts.
ANALYSIS
While Brown's practice reps were managed this past week, he plans to play Sunday, per Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site. With fellow starter Julio Jones (hamstring) having been ruled out, Brown -- who logged an 8/133/1 stat line on nine targets in Tennessee's Week 7 win over Kansas City-- figures to remain busy versus Indianapolis this weekend, with Josh Reynolds, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Marcus Johnson and Chester Rogers also in the team's Week 8 wideout mix.
Oct 29, 2021
Not spotted at practice Friday
Brown (undisclosed) wasn't spotted during the open portion of Friday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After being limited Wednesday for rest purposes, Brown returned to a full practice Thursday. Friday's final injury report will reveal whether the wideout's absence from the early portion of practice was maintenance-related or indicative of a setback that could result in a Week 8 injury designation approaching Sunday's game against the Colts.
Oct 27, 2021
Good to go
Brown was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice for non-injury reasons, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The Titans have managed Brown's practice reps all season, though it's usually been attributed to a knee issue rather than just 'rest'. The new designation could be taken as a minor sign of progress, especially after Brown dealt with a hamstring injury on top of the lingering issues with his knees. He looked healthy while roasting the Chiefs for 133 yards and a touchdown last week, and he'll now take aim at the division-rival Colts on Sunday.
Oct 27, 2021
Not practicing Wednesday
Brown (undisclosed) wasn't spotted at practice Wednesday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown, who had been dealing an illness, missed practice last Wednesday and Thursday, but headed into Week 7 action minus an injury designation, en routing to logging 42 of a possible 68 snaps on offense in Tennessee's win over Kansas City, while catching eight passes on nine targets for 133 yards and a TD. With no reported setbacks in the contest, there's a solid chance that his absence from practice this Wednesday was maintenance-related.
Oct 24, 2021
Explosive in victory
Brown recorded eight receptions on nine targets for 133 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-3 win over Kansas City.
ANALYSIS
Brown's effort included his highest marks in both receptions and receiving yards on the season. He torched the Chiefs' secondary for a few big gains, highlighted by two 24-yard receptions. The first of those catches went for a touchdown, accounting for his first trip to the end zone since Week 1. After failing to top 50 yards in any of the first four games while also dealing with a hamstring injury, Brown has since combined to record 224 yards and a touchdown across his last two contests.
Oct 22, 2021
Cleared for Week 7
Brown (illness) practiced fully Friday and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Though he played 80 percent of the offensive snaps and turned in a relatively normal stat line (seven catches for 91 yards on nine targets) in Monday's 34-31 win over the Bills, Brown suggested he wasn't feeling in optimal health after experiencing food poisoning following an ill-fated trip to Chipotle days earlier. He was still feeling the effects days later, as Brown was withheld from practices Wednesday and Thursday and even required IVs to regain strength after losing some weight due to the illness, per Turron Davenport of ESPN.com. Brown's return to full practice along with the lack of a designation suggests he's feeling much better Friday, and the expectation is that he'll see a full workload in what should be a high-scoring matchup with the Chiefs. Brown may even see more targets directed his way than usual, as fellow star wideout Julio Jones (hamstring) is listed as questionable for the contest and is uncertain to play.
Oct 22, 2021
Back on the field Friday
Brown (illness) returned to practice Friday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown, who has been dealing with the effects of a case of food poisoning, missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, but his return for Friday's session has him trending toward active status Sunday against Kansas City. However, the Titans' final Week 7 injury report will reveal whether the wideout heads into the weekend with an injury designation or fully cleared to play.
Oct 21, 2021
Another practice absence
Brown (illness) didn't practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown also missed practice Wednesday, which sets the stage for what he's able to do Friday to be pivotal with regard to his chances of suiting up Sunday against Kansas City. Meanwhile, fellow wideout Julio Jones (hamstring) was present for practice Thursday, which offers some hope that the Titans could potentially have their top two wideouts available this weekend, pending Friday's developments at practice and release of the team's final Week 7 injury report.

Logs DNP Wednesday
Brown (illness) didn't practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown was added to the Titans' injury report this past Sunday as questionable for the team's Monday night game against Buffalo with an illness that the wideout attributed to a case of food poisoning, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports. Brown ended up suiting up for the contest and logged 42 of a possible 53 snaps on offense, en route to catching seven of his nine targets for 91 yards. His status for this weekend's game against Kansas City doesn't appear to be in any danger, but the same can't be said for fellow starting WR Julio Jones (hamstring), who didn't finish Monday's contest and was unable to practice Wednesday.
Oct 18, 2021
Big in second half
Brown caught seven of nine targets for 91 yards in Monday night's 34-31 win over the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Brown played through illness to lead the Titans in all major receiving categories. Making his performance even more impressive, though, is the fact all his receptions came in the second half, helping spark Tennessee's comeback win. The star wideout will now strive to carry his momentum from Monday's season-best outing into an enticing Week 7 matchup against the Chiefs.
Oct 18, 2021
Suiting up Monday
Brown (illness) is listed as active Monday against the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Brown was added to the Titans' injury report Sunday as questionable for Week 6 with an illness. It won't be enough to keep him off the field, though, as he makes his fifth appearance in six games this season. Brown has only mustered a 10-130-1 receiving line on 25 targets this season, and he may have a tough time producing Monday versus a Buffalo defense that has surrendered a league-low 5.1 yards per target to wide receivers this season.
Oct 18, 2021
Slated to play Monday
Brown (illness) is in line to be available for Monday night's game against the Bills, John Glennon of BroadwaySportsMedia.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Per Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site, the wideout was added to the team's Week 6 injury report Sunday and listed as questionable for Monday's contest due to an illness. Official confirmation of Brown's status will arrive upon the release of inactives prior to Tennessee's 8:15 ET kickoff, but it looks like the Titans will have both of of their top wideouts available versus Buffalo, with Julio Jones (hamstring) poised to return to action.
Oct 17, 2021
Now questionable for MNF
Brown has been added to the Titans' injury report for Monday night's game against the Bills and is now listed as questionable due to an illness, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
While the team hasn't specified the nature of the wideout's listed illness, his status will need to be closely monitored as Monday night's 8:15 ET kickoff approaches. Also listed as questionable for the contest is Chester Rogers (groin), leaving Julio Jones, Marcus Johnson, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Josh Reynolds as the team's top WR options minus a Week 6 injury designation.
Oct 10, 2021
Inefficient with six targets
Brown (hamstring) caught three of six targets for 38 yards against Jacksonville on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The six targets were encouraging as Brown returned from the hamstring injury that kept him out in Week 4, especially given that Ryan Tannehill attempted only 21 targeted passes, but the output was a bit disappointing in a game during which Tennessee scored 37 points. Derrick Henry did almost all of the necessary lifting for Tennessee, producing 130 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, so there wasn't much slack for Brown to pick up anyway. That should change against Buffalo in Week 6, because the Bills should be a much more imposing opponent for Tennessee than the Jaguars were Sunday.
Oct 8, 2021
Back in action Sunday
Brown (hamstring) was a full participant in practice for the second straight day and enters Sunday's game against the Jaguars without an injury designation, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Just as Titans head coach Mike Vrabel suggested would be the case prior to Friday's practice session, Brown is set to return to the lineup after a one-game absence due to the hamstring injury. Brown should find himself as the clear top option in the Titans' passing attack Week 5, as fellow starting wideout Julio Jones (hamstring) has been ruled out for a second straight contest. The absence of Jones could open up a few extra looks for Brown, who averaged 6.3 targets per game over the first three weeks of the season. Chester Rogers, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (hamstring) and Josh Reynolds are also expected to absorb some of Jones' vacated snaps and targets.
Oct 7, 2021
Returns to full practice
Brown (hamstring) practiced fully Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After logging a limited session Wednesday, Brown participated fully in Thursday's practice, which presumably puts him on track to play Sunday against the Jaguars, barring any setbacks. Friday's injury report will reveal whether Brown heads into the weekend with an injury designation, but at this stage his Week 5 status looks more promising that that of fellow wideouts Julio Jones (hamstring) -- who didn't practice Thursday -- and Nick Westbook-Ikhine (hamstring), who was limited.
Oct 6, 2021
Returns to limited session
Brown (hamstring) logged a limited practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown, who didn't play in Week 4 against the Jets, seems to be headed in the right direction as Sunday's game against the Jaguars approaches. Meanwhile fellow wideouts Julio Jones (hamstring) and Nick Westbook-Ikhine (hamstring) were unable to practice Wednesday. We'll revisit the trio's status Thursday, but in order for Brown to avoid a Week 5 injury designation, he'll presumably need to log at least one full practice by the end of the week.
Oct 6, 2021
Practicing Wednesday
Brown (hamstring) participated in practice Wednesday, John Glennon of BroadwaySportsMedia.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It remains to be seen if Brown was a full or limited participant, but the wideout's presence on the field Wednesday, in any capacity, bodes well for his Week 5 status. Not spotted during the open portion of the session was fellow starting WR Julio Jones (hamstring).
Oct 1, 2021
Won't play this week
Brown (hamstring) and Julio Jones (hamstring) have been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jets, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Both were held out of practice all week after suffering hamstring injuries in last week's win over Indianapolis. The Titans have Chester Rogers, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Josh Reynolds, Cameron Batson and Racey McMath as their wide receivers on the active roster, while Marcus Johnson (undisclosed) could be activated from IR over the weekend. The Titans do still have Derrick Henry in the backfield, and TE Anthony Firkser is back in the lineup after missing two games with a knee injury. Their star wide receivers, meanwhile, will try to make it back for Week 5 at Jacksonville.
Oct 1, 2021
Not practicing Friday
Brown (hamstring) wasn't spotted at Friday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Fellow starting wideout Julio Jones (hamstring) was also not out there for the start of Friday's practice, and it looks like the Titans may be without both players Sunday against the Jets. Tennessee's final Week 4 injury report will reveal whether Brown and/or Jones head into the weekend with any shot to play. Next up for WR opportunities should the duo be ruled out are Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Chester Rogers, Josh Reynolds and perhaps Marcus Johnson (undisclosed), if he's activated from IR.
Sep 30, 2021
Misses another practice
Brown (hamstring) remained sidelined at practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
The same applies to fellow starting wideout Julio Jones (hamstring), which sets the stage for Friday's practice to be pivotal with regard to the duo's chances of suiting up Sunday against the Jets. If one or both players are out this weekend, added Week 4 opportunities would be available for the likes of Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Chester Rogers, Josh Reynolds and perhaps Marcus Johnson (undisclosed), if he's activated from IR.
Sep 29, 2021
Misses practice to start week
Brown (hamstring) and Julio Jones (leg) both missed practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown left Sunday's win over the Colts in the first half, while Jones hurt his leg but still managed to play six snaps after halftime. They'll have two more chances to practice before the game against the Jets on Sunday.
Sep 27, 2021
Labeled week-to-week
Brown (hamstring) is considered week-to-week, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
It sounds like Brown's a long shot to suit up against the Jets on Sunday after exiting early in Tennessee's Week 3 win over the Colts, though a clearer picture of his status should emerge once the Titans begin practicing. The team will likely take it easy with the third-year wideout this week considering Tennessee has more than enough other weapons to deal with a Jets team that has been outscored 51-6 over its last two games.
Sep 26, 2021
Won't return Sunday
Brown (hamstring) is no longer in uniform and won't return during the second half of Sunday's game against the Colts, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown exited during the first half without catching either of his two targets, and he came out of halftime wearing only shorts and a t-shirt after initially being labeled questionable to return. Julio Jones and Chester Rogers will operate as Tennessee's top wideouts for the remainder of Sunday's contest.
Sep 26, 2021
Hurts hamstring Sunday
Brown suffered a hamstring injury during the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Colts, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Prior to his departure, Brown didn't catch either of his two targets from Ryan Tannehill and had a three-yard carry. Per John Glennon of BroadwaySportsMedia.com, Brown was spotted running some light sprints while receiving medical attention. Brown officially is questionable to return to action.
Sep 23, 2021
All systems go Thursday
Brown (knee) returned to full participation in practice Thursday, John Glennon of Broadway Sports Media reports.
ANALYSIS
It's not uncommon for Brown to be limited or even sit out entirely early in the week, so his limited session Wednesday wasn't much cause for concern, and his return Thursday can put any worries over his health to rest. Brown has gotten off to a drop-plagued start, but he's still getting plenty of attention from quarterback Ryan Tannehill despite the offseason addition of fellow high-profile wide receiver Julio Jones, so it's likely only a matter of time before Tennessee's 2019 second-round pick breaks out. That breakout performance could even come Sunday against the Colts.
Sep 22, 2021
Limited in Wednesday's practice
Brown (knee) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown was a limited participant last week before upgrading to full Thursday and Friday. Even if he doesn't follow the exact same routine, he should be fine for Sunday's matchup with the Colts. The 24-year-old wideout has caught only seven passes for 92 yards and a touchdown through two games, but he's more or less seeing his normal workload in terms of snap share (83 percent) and target share (22.7 percent share).
Sep 19, 2021
Does little with nine targets
Brown recorded three receptions on nine targets for 43 yards in Sunday's Week 2 win over the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
Brown led the the team with nine targets, but was out-produced by Julio Jones by 85 yards. He was particularly inefficient on passes deep down the field, including an uncharacteristic drop after he beat his defender on a double-move. Instead, most of Brown's yardage came on short passes that required him to do the majority of his work after the catch. Brown will look to turn the page on this disappointing performance, and his targets indicate that there should be no concern regarding his role in the offense moving forward.
Sep 16, 2021
Practices fully
Brown (knee) returned to a full practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown was limited at practice Wednesday, but that was likely a case of the wideout's reps being managed, given that he's bouncing back from offseason knee procedures. In Week 1, Brown logged 52 of a possible 64 snaps on on offense in Tennessee's 38-13 loss to Arizona, en route to catching four of his eight targets for 49 yards and a TD. Barring any setbacks, he's on track for steady snaps and targets on a weekly basis in his starting WR role opposite Julio Jones.
Sep 15, 2021
Limited in practice again
Brown (knee) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Just last week Brown mentioned that his practice reps could be limited all season after he had surgeries on both knees this past winter. It didn't impact his Week 1 workload, as he caught four passes for 49 yards and a touchdown on eight targets in a 38-13 loss to Arizona. Brown played 80 percent of Tennessee's offensive snaps, including 85.5 percent prior to the fourth quarter. He'll get the Seahawks in Seattle this week, likely seeing plenty of snaps and targets regardless of his practice schedule.
Sep 12, 2021
Scores despite struggles
Brown caught four receptions for 49 yards and one touchdown on eight targets against Arizona on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Arizona's cornerback personnel is dubious at best and the Titans should have capitalized in the home matchup, but the entire Tennessee offense managed to fall apart. It certainly didn't help that quarterback Ryan Tannehill was subjected to five sacks from Arizona pass rusher Chandler Jones, but it's still puzzling that the Titans didn't get Brown more than eight targets and fellow wideout Julio Jones more than six targets given the desperate setting. Tennessee fell behind big early and still couldn't get it going. The Seahawks don't have the cornerbacks to cover Brown or Jones as Tennessee heads on the road for Week 2, but Tennessee needs to get better pass blocking and quarterback play to capitalize.
Sep 10, 2021
Ready for Week 1
Brown (knee) said Friday that he's "good to go" for Sunday's game against Arizona, but he did acknowledge that his practice reps could be managed again next week, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown told reporters they should ask Titans coach Mike Vrabel if they want to know more about the wideout's practice schedule this season. Between Brown and running mate Julio Jones, the Titans' injury report figures to get a workout this season, even if both guys are piling up snaps, targets and points each Sunday. They get a friendly matchup at home to start the season, albeit on the heels of a summer where Brown, Jones and QB Ryan Tannehill were rarely on the practice field together. The Titans host the Cardinals at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
Sep 9, 2021
Practices fully
Brown (knee) returned to a full practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After missing Wednesday's session, Brown worked fully Thursday and reportedly looked good during individual drills in the process. The 24-year-old is thus slated to start opposite newcomer Julio Jones in Sunday's season opener against the Cardinals. The duo is expected to form a strong 1-2 punch at wideout in 2021, while undisputed top back Derrick Henry fuels the Titans' rushing attack.
Sep 9, 2021
Takes the field Thursday
Brown (knee) participated in practice Thursday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
We'll have to see if Brown is listed as a full or limited participant by the Titans, but his presence on the field Thursday after sitting out Wednesday's session bodes well for his chances of being available for Sunday's season opener against the Cardinals.
Sep 8, 2021
Sits out practice
Brown (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
It's not unusual for Brown to have his practice reps managed, but his absence from practice Wednesday makes the wideout's status worth monitoring as Sunday's season opener against the Cardinals approaches. A return to practice Thursday, in any capacity, would put Brown on track to play in Week 1, and if so, he'll be slated to start opposite newcomer Julio Jones, whose name doesn't appear on Tennessee's initial injury report.
Sep 1, 2021
Practices again Tuesday
Brown (knee) and Julio jones (undisclosed) practiced Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official website reports.
ANALYSIS
The two banged-up wideouts ran routes at Monday's practice and did more work during Tuesday's non-padded session. Both are expected to play Week 1, despite seemingly missing more practices than they participated in this summer. In Brown's case, he's healing from an injury to one of his surgically repaired knees after undergoing procedures at the beginning of the offseason. That doesn't exactly sound ideal, but it could work out in his favor once the current issue is sorted out, as Brown reportedly played through knee issues all of last season, putting off surgery until the Titans had been eliminated from the playoffs. He should ramp up his practice participation in the coming days, with the goal of handling a full workload Week 1 against Arizona.
Aug 31, 2021
Returns to practice
Brown (knee) ran routes during practice Monday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown has been sidelined for most of the team's offseason activities after undergoing surgery on both of his knees. He briefly practiced during training camp, but a reported flare up in his knee part way through August has kept him sidelined since. Brown did not participate in any preseason action, which makes his participation in practice a bit more notable. The team has consistently stated that Brown will be ready for Week 1 of the regular season against Arizona, and his activity at practice backs that notion.
Aug 28, 2021
Misses entire preseason
Brown didn't play in Saturday's preseason defeat to the Bears, according to Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com.
ANALYSIS
Brown kicked off the offseason with surgery on both of his knees, which sidelined him from OTAs and mandatory minicamp. He was reported to be 100 percent at the start of training camp, but a knee issue flared up in mid-August, leading to sporadic showings at practice and no exhibition action whatsoever. Thus, when the Titans take on the Cardinals in Week 1, it'll mark the first time the trio of Brown, Derrick Henry and Julio Jones will play in a game as teammates, assuming the latter has put his own August health concern behind him.
Aug 23, 2021
Takes the field Monday
Brown (knee) was present for Monday's practice, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The report notes that the wideout wasn't sporting any protective gear on his knee when he took the field Monday. Moreover, Brown was able to participate during the individual portion of the practice, in addition to getting in some side work with the team's trainers. Given that his practice reps are being managed after his recent right knee flare-up, it doesn't seem likely that Brown will play in Saturday's preseason finale against the Bears, but as Adam Schefter of ESPN previously reported, Tennessee's top pass-catcher from 2020 is expected to be ready for Week 1 action.
Aug 23, 2021
Bothered by knee again
Brown is dealing with a knee injury but should be ready for Week 1, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The wideout reportedly looked dominant early in training camp, rebounding strong after undergoing surgeries on both knees in the offseason. He then missed practice with an undisclosed injury last week, and while it doesn't sound too serious, fantasy managers aren't wrong to be concerned about another issue with Brown's knees. Brown's practice participation will need to be monitored in the coming weeks as the Titans prepare for their season opener against Arizona on Sept. 12.
Aug 22, 2021
Could suit up Saturday
Brown may see snaps during Saturday's preseason finale versus the Bears, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Per coach Mike Vrabel, the Titans are adjusting their schedule this week to resemble the one used during the regular season, likely as a means of preparation before Week 1. It could translate to Brown, Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill all making their only appearances of exhibition season, but Vrabel could opt to wait until later in the week before making such a decision.
Aug 22, 2021
Doesn't play Saturday
Brown (undisclosed) was in uniform and participated in warmups, but didn't play in Saturday's preseason game against the Buccaneers, Ben Arthur of the Nashville Tennessean reports.
ANALYSIS
Other key players such as fellow WR Julio Jones, RB Derrick Henry and QB Ryan Tannehill also didn't take the field once the game started Saturday, and it's unclear if they'll see action in next weekend's preseason finale against the Bears. That said, there's no reason to think that Brown's Week 1 status is in question, a notion that would be confirmed by the wideout's participation in practice this coming week.
Aug 21, 2021
Suits up Saturday
Brown (undisclosed) is in uniform for Saturday's preseason game against the Buccaneers, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The wideout missed some practice time this past week, but it appears as though he's past the issue that limited him. How much action he sees Saturday remains to be seen, however, but it looks like Brown could potentially see some tune-up snaps against Tampa Bay as he continues to ready for Week 1 action.
Aug 19, 2021
Not practicing this week?
Brown hasn't been participating in joint practices with the Buccaneers this week, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Occasional rest days make sense for a star player who had offseason surgeries on both knees, but it would be odd to keep Brown out of consecutive practices this late in the summer unless there's some kind of problem at hand. Coach Mike Vrabel declined to elaborate Thursday afternoon, merely saying Brown is not available. The wideout presumably won't play in Saturday's preseason game at Tampa Bay.
Jul 29, 2021
Dominating early in camp
Brown had "numerous catches" during Thursday's practice, looking healthy even as he wore a band over his right knee, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown missed the offseason program while rehabbing from January surgeries on both knees. No matter, he was cleared for the start of training camp and seems to be off to a running start, with Jim Wyatt of titans.com supporting the notion that Brown has been highly active early on. New teammate Julio Jones hasn't been quite as busy, but that should come soon enough as he increases his comfort level in a new system.
Jul 23, 2021
Ready for training camp
Brown (knee) will be a "full go" for the start of training camp next week, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 24-year-old underwent surgery on both knees in January and didn't participate in OTAs or June minicamp, but he'll be good to go for the start of camp. Brown caught 70 of 106 targets for 1,075 yards and 11 touchdowns in 14 games in 2020 while playing through the knee injuries for most of the season, and he could receive a bit less defensive attention this year thanks to the offseason addition of Julio Jones.
Jun 29, 2021
Closing in on return
Brown (knee) didn't participate in OTAs or June minicamp, but he said it won't be long before he's back on the practice field, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown had surgery on both knees in January and has thus far mostly been limited to rehab work and cardio. It sounds like he could be ready for training camp, where he'll team up with Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry and recent addition Julio Jones in a star-studded Tennessee offense. With WR Corey Davis and TE Jonnu Smith both departing this offseason, the Titans presumably expect Brown and Jones to handle a huge share of the targets and receiving production.
Jun 7, 2021
Ready for softer matchups
Brown will receive less attention from opposing defenses after the the Titans acquired Julio Jones, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The Titans had seen a number of pass-catchers leave via free agency this offseason, the most notable of which was Corey Davis. Without any proven replacements, Brown was set to see massive volume, but he would also have been the singular focus of opposing defenses. With Jones now in the mix, Brown may see his projected volume decrease, though he should also have more room to operate by avoiding double teams and potentially be matched up against the opposition's second cornerback rather than first.
Jan 19, 2021
Underwent surgery on both knees
Brown revealed on social media Tuesday that he underwent surgery on both of his knees, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown explained the severity of his injuries by revealing that the Titans' medical staff suggested he should be shut down for the year in Week 2. Nevertheless, the second-year receiver battled through the pair of injuries and piled up 70 receptions (106 targets) for 1,075 yards and 11 touchdowns, receiving Pro Bowl honors in the process. According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Brown should be ready for the 2021 season.
It's unclear whether Brown will miss any of the offseason program or training camp.
Jan 10, 2021
Solid line in loss
Brown recorded six receptions on 10 targets for 83 yards and a touchdown in the team's wild card loss to the Ravens.
ANALYSIS
Brown was one of the few bright spots for the Titans' offense, as he converted their only touchdown of the contest on a 10-yard reception. He also chipped in explosive plays that came from both deep passes and yards after the catch, recording gains of 29, 18 and 14 yards. Brown solidified himself as one of the better young receivers in the league in 2020 and should be prepared to take another step forward during the 2021 campaign -- particularly if Corey Davis signs elsewhere.
Jan 8, 2021
Set to suit up Sunday
Brown (knee/hand) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's wild-card game versus the Ravens, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown's only on-field work this week occurred at Wednesday's walk-through, leading to a limited listing on the injury report. The Titans held him out of drills entirely Thursday and Friday, after which the wide receiver told Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com that he didn't "get as many reps" as he would have liked, but he instead turned to "film study" in order "to make the most of my opportunities." Despite the lack of reps, Brown is set to take on his typical role in the offense, which equated to 70 catches (on 106 targets) for 1,075 yards and 11 touchdowns in 14 appearances this season.
Jan 8, 2021
Not spotted at practice
Brown (knee/hand) wasn't present at the portion of Friday's practice open to the media, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
If Brown goes down as a non-participant Friday, it'll mark back-to-back absences after being listed as limited on Wednesday's estimated practice report. Knee and hand issues are to blame, with the former likely resulting from his brief first-quarter departure in the regular-season finale. The Titans will reveal Brown's potential availability for Sunday's wild-card matchup with the Ravens later Friday.
Jan 7, 2021
Sits out practice Thursday
Brown (knee/hand) didn't practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown was limited Wednesday, but his practice reps have been managed for quite some time now, so his downgrade in participation Thursday isn't necessarily a red flag. With that in mind, it wouldn't surprise us to see the wideout approach Sunday's playoff game against the Ravens minus an injury designation upon the posting of Friday's final injury report.
Jan 6, 2021
Listed as limited on practice estimate
Brown (knee/hand) was listed as limited on Wednesday's practice estimate, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown had been managing an ankle issue down the stretch, but he logged 64 of a possible 71 snaps on offense in the Titans' Week 17 41-38 win over the Texans, en route to catching a season-high 10 passes (on 11 targets) for 151 yards and a TD. His listed limitations Wednesday suggest that the wideout is a little banged up following that contest, but there's nothing to suggest that Brown's status for Sunday's playoff opener against the Ravens is in any doubt.
Jan 3, 2021
Huge numbers in division clincher
Brown caught 10 of 11 targets for 151 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 41-38 win over the Texans.
ANALYSIS
The Titans got a scare on their opening drive when Brown appeared to injure his knee, but he quickly returned to action and wound up leading the team in catches and receiving yards. Brown's last grab of the day was arguably his most important -- after Houston had tied the game with only 18 seconds remaining, Ryan Tannehill found his favorite option on a 52-yard strike to set Tennessee up for the winning, and AFC South-clinching, field goal. Brown will now get ready for a clash with the Ravens next Sunday in the wild-card round.
Dec 31, 2020
Returns to full practice
Brown (ankle) practiced fully Thursday, John Glennon of BroadwaySportsMedia.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown is thus good to go for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Texans and in line to remain a key component of the Titans' Week 17 passing attack. Through 13 games to date, Brown has been a reliable fantasy contributor, having logged 60 catches (on 95 targets) for 924 yards and 10 TDs.
Dec 30, 2020
Sits out practice
Brown (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown has been managing an ankle issue, so we expect that his absence from practice Wednesday is in keeping with the team's strategy of managing the wideout's reps so that he's available come game day. If recent weeks are an indication, Brown should return to a full practice no later than Friday.
Dec 28, 2020
Held down in inclement weather
Brown (ankle) had four receptions (eight targets) for 43 yards in Sunday's 40-14 loss to the Packers.
ANALYSIS
The Titans' aerial attack stuttered in the snowy conditions at Lambeau Field, resulting in just 121 total passing yards. Brown also had to deal with a tough matchup against Jaire Alexander for most of the contest, and the cold weather probably didn't help the ankle injury he had been battling recently. The stars just weren't aligned for the breakout receiver to have one of his usual strong fantasy performances. Brown will be in prime position to have a bounce-back performance next week when the Titans take on the Texans in a dome. The 23-year-old hit pay dirt twice against Houston when the two clubs met back in Week 6.
Dec 25, 2020
Good to go this week
Brown (ankle) doesn't carry a Week 16 injury designation after being listed as a full practice participant Friday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Though Brown continues to manage an ankle issue, he'll be out there Sunday night against the Packers and should be able to handle his normal allotment of snaps. He's been a reliable fantasy contributor when available this season and heads into Week 16 action having scored TDs in four of his last five games.
Dec 25, 2020
Returning to practice
Brown (ankle) will return to practice Friday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
This would seem to confirm that Brown's absence from practice Thursday was a matter of routine rep management. Friday's final injury report may go one step further and officially clear the wideout for Sunday night's game against the Packers.
Dec 24, 2020
Sits out practice Thursday
Brown (ankle) wasn't spotted at practice Thursday after being limited during Wednesday's session, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Given Brown's recent practice trends since he's been managing an ankle issue, his Thursday downgrade to DNP isn't really alarming. Look for the wideout to return to the field Friday and then quite likely approach Sunday night's game against the Packers minus an injury designation.
Dec 23, 2020
Gets some work in Wednesday
Brown (ankle) was listed as limited at Wednesday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Though Brown wasn't spotted during the open portion of the practice, he was evidently able to get some work in afterward. As he continues to manage an ankle issue, it's possible that the wideout will be rested Thursday, but we'd expect Brown to cleared to play before Sunday's game against the Packers rolls around.
Dec 23, 2020
Not practicing Wednesday
Brown (undisclosed) wasn't spotted at practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown has been managing an ankle issue, so as long as that's the issue listed by Tennessee on Wednesday's injury report, we'll presume that the wideout's non-participation was a case of rep management as Sunday night's game against the Packers approaches.
Dec 20, 2020
Hits double-digit touchdowns
Brown recorded five receptions on six targets for 44 yards and a touchdown in Week 15 against the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Brown tied for the team-lead with five receptions, though Ryan Tannehill continued to spread targets around to several different pass-catchers. He was unable to deliver his typical splash plays, as his longest catch of the day went for only 14 yards. Despite the down performance, Brown did manage to salvage the performance with a two-yard touchdown reception in the final quarter. Brown will likely be needed for more volume in Week 16 as the Titans attempt to keep pace with the Packers.
Dec 18, 2020
Good to go this week
Brown (ankle) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Lions after practicing fully Friday,Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 2019 second-rounder has been managing an ankle issue of late, but he continues to play at a high level when game-time rolls around, as evidenced by his 7/112/1 stat line (on nine targets) in the Titans' Week 14 win over the Jaguars. In an offense driven by running back Derrick Henry, Brown maintains a stable weekly fantasy floor, given that he and Corey Davis are the team's clear-cut top wideout options.
Dec 18, 2020
Back at practice
Brown (ankle) returned to practice Friday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown, who continues to manage an ankle issue, sat out Thursday's session, but his return to the field Friday puts him on track to play Sunday against the Lions. The Titans' final injury report of the week will clarify whether the wideout approaches the contest with a designation or heads into the weekend fully cleared for action.
Dec 17, 2020
Not at practice Thursday
Brown (ankle) wasn't spotted at practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Though Brown was listed as limited Wednesday, his downgrade in participation follows a recent pattern of the wideout being rested on Thursdays. Barring an unforeseen setback, we'd expect Brown back at practice Friday and quite possibly off the team's injury report by the end of the day.
Dec 16, 2020
Limited by ankle injury
Brown (ankle) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown missed the first two practices last week after suffering a non-contact ankle injury in Week 13, but he ultimately suited up against the Jaguars and routed them to the tune of 112 yards and a touchdown. The explosive receiver also grabbed for his ankle against Jacksonville after being tackled in that area at one point, but Brown was able to shake off the pain. Considering that he's already ahead of schedule compared to last week's practice participation, Brown should be good to go for Sunday's game against the Lions barring a setback.
Dec 13, 2020
Tops 100 yards
Brown recorded seven receptions on nine targets for 112 yards and a touchdown in Week 14 against the Jaguars.
ANALYSIS
After a few errors in Week 13, Brown was a key contributor in the Titans' blowout victory against the Jaguars. His first reception went for a 37-yard, leaping one-handed touchdown midway through the second quarter. Though passing attempts were limited due to game script, Brown added two receptions of 17 yards to top 100 yards for the third time this season. Brown will draw a Week 15 matchup against the Lions, who are currently dealing with a depleted secondary.
Dec 11, 2020
Good to go this week
Brown (ankle) doesn't carry a Week 14 injury designation after practicing fully Friday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Back-to-back absences from practice put the focus on Brown's Friday participation, but his return to a full session paves the way for him to remain in the starting lineup Sunday against the Jaguars. While he has yet to log double-digit targets thus season, Brown's fantasy floor remains stable, as he's caught four passes in five of his last six outings, while scoring four TDs in that span.
Dec 11, 2020
Back at practice
Brown (ankle) returned to practice Friday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown didn't practice either Wednesday or Thursday, so his presence on the field Friday should be of some relief to those considering the wideout in Week 14 lineups. Friday's final injury report will reveal whether Brown approaches Sunday's game against the Jaguars with an injury designation or heads into the weekend cleared for action.
Dec 10, 2020
Misses another practice
Brown (ankle) missed practice for the second consecutive day Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Back-to-back absences from practice set the stage for Friday to be pivotal with regard to Brown's chances of suiting up Sunday against the Jaguars. If Brown ends up limited at all, or even out this weekend, added opportunities alongside Corey Davis would be available for Cameron Batson and Kalif Raymond.
Dec 9, 2020
Managing ankle injury
Brown did not practice Wednesday due to an ankle injury, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown spent time on the sideline during Sunday's loss to the Browns after slipping during a route in the second quarter, and though he was able to quickly retake the field, the issue initially looked worrisome. It's too early for significant concern about Brown's status for Week 14, considering that missed practices have been fairly routine for him this season, but it's worth noting that his ankle injury is a new development. Until now, Brown had usually been listed with a knee issue.
Dec 9, 2020
Not spotted Wednesday
Brown (undisclosed) is not present at the portion of Wednesday's practice open to the media, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown has missed practices fairly routinely recently, but given that he appeared to pick up an injury during last weekend's loss to the Browns when he slipped running a route in the second quarter, his status is worth keeping an eye on. He did retake the field after briefly being examined on the sideline. Corey Davis exploded with 11 catches for 182 yards and a score versus Cleveland, so the Titans at least have other receiving options to lean on if Brown is banged up.
Dec 6, 2020
Struggles with drops and fumbles
Brown recorded four receptions on seven targets for 87 yards in Week 13 against the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Brown's final stat line wasn't disastrous, though he missed out on a bigger line with a number of drops and fumbles throughout the contest. His biggest miscue came in the third quarter when he was stripped just short of the goal-line, narrowly missing out on his ninth touchdown of the season. Even given the errors, Brown still showcased his big-play ability, racking up receptions of 40 and 18 yards. After failing to reach the end zone for only the second time in his last nine contests, Brown will look to get back on track in Week 14 against the Jaguars.
Dec 4, 2020
Cleared to play
Brown (hip) practiced fully Friday and is "good to go" for Sunday's game against the Browns, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown sat out Thursday's practice, but the wideout's full participation Friday led to him heading into the weekend minus an injury designation. Through nine games to date, Brown has caught 40 of his 65 targets for 638 yards and eight TDs. The 2019 second-rounder has yet to log double-digit target volume in any games this season, but the fact that he's scored in all but two of the contests he's suited up for gives him a stable fantasy floor in his starting role with the Titans.
Dec 4, 2020
Back at practice
Brown (hip) returned to practice Friday, John Glennon of BroadwaySportsMedia.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The wideout didn't practice Thursday, so his return to the field Friday bodes well for his Week 13 status. Friday's final injury report of the week will reveal whether Brown approaches Sunday's game against Cleveland listed as questionable, or minus an injury designation.
Dec 3, 2020
Misses practice Thursday
Brown (hip) didn't practice Thursday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Missed practices have been fairly routine for Brown of late, but his listed hip issue is something new. We'll revisit the wideout's status no later than Friday to see if his Thursday absence was maintenance-related or indicative of his status for Sunday's game against the Browns being in any sort of danger.
Nov 29, 2020
Delivers long touchdown
Brown recorded four receptions on six targets for 98 yards and a touchdown in Week 12 against the Colts.
ANALYSIS
The Titans didn't need to take to the air regularly as they maintained a significant lead throughout the entire second half. However, Brown did his damage early on, ripping off a 69-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter -- over 50 of which came after the catch. He also displayed his athleticism late in the game, as he fielded an onside kick and returned it for a game-clinching trip the end zone. Despite commanding double-digit targets in zero games, Brown has now scored in seven of his nine games this season. He'll draw a matchup against Cleveland in Week 13.
Nov 27, 2020
Ready for Sunday
Brown (knee) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game at Indianapolis, John Glennon of BroadwaySportsMedia.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown didn't take the practice field until Friday, when he was a full participant, but it was enough to clear him from game action Week 12. Just two games ago, he had his least productive outing of the campaign (one catch for 21 yards on four targets) versus the Colts, against whom he hasn't surpassed 50 yards in three career appearances.
Nov 26, 2020
Listed as DNP Thursday
Brown (knee) was listed as a non-participant on Thursday's practice estimate, Paul Kuharsky of 104.5 The Zone Nashville reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown has been managing a knee injury in practice of late, but he's been able to suit up for each of the Titans' last seven games. Friday's final injury report of the week will reveal whether the wideout approaches Sunday's game against the Colts fully cleared to play or with a Week 12 injury designation.
Nov 25, 2020
Sits out Wednesday's practice
Brown (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Erik Bacharach of The Tennessean reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown logged 57 of a possible 70 snaps on offense in the Titans' Week 11 win over the Ravens, while catching four of his seven targets for 62 yards and a TD in the process. Brown has been managing a knee issue of late, so his absence from practice Wednesday isn't necessarily a red flag with regard to his availability for Sunday's game against the Colts.
Nov 22, 2020
Bullies way to end zone
Brown recorded four receptions on seven targets for 62 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 against the Ravens.
ANALYSIS
Brown was held catchless in the first half, failing to haul in either of his targets. However, he came alive in the second half to rebound from a poor Week 10 performance against the Colts. His most vital reception of the day came on a 14-yard touchdown with just over two minutes remaining in the contest, when he bullied his way into the end zone with several Ravens players latched onto him. Brown has not dominated targets as expected due to the emergence of Corey Davis, though he has still managed to find the end zone seven times in his last seven contests. Brown will look to keep that streak going and bounce back in a rematch against the Colts in Week 12.
Nov 20, 2020
No injury designation for Week 11
Brown (knee) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Ravens, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown practiced fully Friday and should be all systems go come Sunday. He'll be looking to bounce back after being limited to one catch by the Colts in his last game, snapping a five-game touchdown streak in the process.
Nov 19, 2020
Misses practice Thursday
Brown (knee) sat out Thursday's practice, John Glennon of BroadwaySportsMedia.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown has been managing a knee issue of late and has been given rest days on a routine basis, so his Thursday absence shouldn't raise an immediate alarm. Based on the pattern we've seen in previous weeks, we'd expect the wideout to return to a full practice Friday and approach Sunday's game against the Ravens minus an injury designation.
Nov 12, 2020
Quiet night in loss
Brown secured one of four targets for 21 yards in the Titans' 34-17 loss to the Colts on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Brown appeared to be on his way to another strong performance after hauling in his one catch on the second play of the game, but he was shut out the rest of the way while drawing his fewest targets of the campaign. The 23-year-old's receiving yardage tally was also a season low, as he, along with quarterback Ryan Tannehill, unsurprisingly struggled against the Colts' vaunted pass defense. Brown will look to bounce back when the Titans face off with the Ravens in a Week 11 rematch of last season's AFC Divisional Round Game on Sunday, Nov. 22.
Nov 10, 2020
Back to full speed
Brown (knee) was a full participant in Tuesday's walkthrough practice, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown sat out Monday's practice because of a bone bruise that he's dealt nearly all season, but he worked out at full speed Tuesday, indicating he'll handle his typical workload in Thursday's divisional clash against the Colts. This injury hasn't affected his performance thus far, as he's racked up 26 receptions for 418 yards and six scores over the past five outings.
Nov 9, 2020
DNP on Monday
Brown (knee) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimate.
ANALYSIS
Brown has been contending with a bone bruise in his knee for the better part of the past two months, but he's still played in each of the Titans' last five games, earning at least 82 percent of the offensive snaps in four of the them (and 71 percent in the other one. He's been a TD monster during that stretch en route to a 26-418-6 line on 40 targets. He'll look to ditch his injury designation prior to Thursday's game against the Colts.
Nov 8, 2020
Keeps finding end zone
Brown recorded four receptions on nine targets for 101 yards and a touchdown in Week 9 against the Bears.
ANALYSIS
Brown wasn't able to convert a high rate of his targets in to catches, but made the most of his opportunity with the ball in his hand. He was responsible for three of the team's five biggest gains, including receptions of 38 and 17 yards. However, Brown's biggest play of the contest came on a deep 40-yard pass down the left sideline for his sixth touchdown of the season. Brown has now found the end zone in five consecutive games, a streak he'll look to keep intact in a Week 10 matchup against the Colts.
Nov 6, 2020
Good to go this week
Brown (knee) returned to a full practice Friday and is good to go for Sunday's game against the Bears, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown has been managing a knee issue of late, but he's logged heavy snaps over the past two weeks, and has been targeted at least seven times in each of the five games he's played in this season. Since returning from two-game absence in Week 5, Brown has logged TDs in four straight games and five overall in that span.
Nov 6, 2020
Back at practice
Brown (knee) returned to practice Friday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown's Thursday absence could be chalked up to rep management, a notion that would be confirmed if he ends up approaching Sunday's game against the Bears minus an injury designation.
Nov 5, 2020
Sits out practice Thursday
Brown (knee) didn't practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
We suspect that Brown's absence was maintenance-related, a notion that will be supported by his return to a full practice Friday. If that happens, he'll almost assuredly approach Sunday's game against the Bears minus an injury designation.
Nov 5, 2020
Not at practice Thursday
Brown (undisclosed) wasn't spotted at practice Thursday, John Glennon of BroadwaySportsMedia.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown, who's been managing a knee issue of late, has also missed the Titans' last two Thursday practices before practicing fully Friday, so there's a solid chance this his absence this time around is maintenance-related.
Nov 1, 2020
Scores TD for fourth straight game
Brown caught four of seven targets for 24 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 31-20 loss to the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
Brown, who shrugged off a minor knee injury during the week, finished second on the team in targets but failed to strike for any plays longer than 10 yards. He did salvage his day from a fantasy perspective with a nine-yard touchdown grab, giving him touchdowns in four straight games and five overall in that span. Brown was coming off a 153-yard effort in his previous outing and will look to flash more of his big-play ability in next Sunday's matchup against the Bears.
Oct 30, 2020
Set for Sunday
Brown (knee) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game at Cincinnati, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
For the second straight week, Brown didn't practice Thursday before returning as a full participant Friday and avoiding a designation in advance of Sunday. Thus, he'll be available this weekend against a Bengals defense that has allowed 9.0 yards per target to wide receivers (ninth worst in the NFL) this season.
Oct 30, 2020
Back at practice
Brown (knee) returned to practice Friday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
The wideout's return to the field Friday following a Thursday absence suggests that he could well have been held out for maintenance purposes. Such a notion would be confirmed if Brown ends up not carrying an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Oct 29, 2020
Misses practice Thursday
Brown (knee) was held out of practice Thursday, John Glennon of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown missed last Thursday's practice as well before returning to a full session Friday and heading into Week 7 action minus an injury designation. The Titans' final injury report of the week will confirm whether or not that pattern is repeated in advance of Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Oct 29, 2020
Not at practice Thursday
Brown (undisclosed) wasn't spotted at practice Thursday, Erik Bacharach of The Tennessean reports.
ANALYSIS
Bacharach points out that the wideout missed last Thursday's practice with a listed knee issue before returning to a full session Friday and playing this past Sunday. It's quite possible that pattern could be repeated in advance of this weekend's game against the Bengals.
Oct 25, 2020
Huge Week 7 performance
Brown tallied six receptions on eight targets for 153 yards and one touchdown in Week 7 against the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Brown had only one reception at the close of the first half, but erupted late in the game to top 100 receiving yards for the first time this season. His longest reception play of the day came on a 73-yard touchdown early in the third quarter that kickstarted a Titans rally. Brown remained active after the long score, connecting for receptions of 21, 20 and 17 yards -- all of which came in the fourth quarter. Brown appears to be fully healthy after battling a knee injury early on and will draw a positive matchup in Week 8 against the Bengals.
Oct 23, 2020
Good to go Sunday
Brown (knee) practiced fully Friday and won't carry a designation into Sunday's game against the Steelers, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown popped up on the injury report Thursday when the knee issue prevented him from practicing, but his ability to take every rep at Friday's session suggests his absence a day earlier was likely just maintenance-related. The wideout has quickly emerged as the Titans' top weapon in the passing game in his first two games back from a three-week absence due to a bone bruise in his knee. Between the Titans' wins over the Bills and Texans, Brown has tallied 12 receptions for 138 yards and three touchdowns on 16 targets.
Oct 23, 2020
Back at practice
Brown (knee) returned to practice Friday, John Glennon of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
It remains to be seen if he'll be listed as a full or limited participant, but Brown's return to the field Friday -- in any capacity -- after missing Thursday's practice, bodes well for his chances of playing Sunday against the Steelers.
Oct 22, 2020
Misses practice Thursday
Brown didn't practice Thursday due to a knee issue, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, but it's possible that his absence is simply rep management, given that he missed time earlier this season with a bone bruise in his knee. If the wideout's absence Thursday is indicative of a setback, however, Friday's practice/injury report should add clarity on that front one way or the other.
Oct 22, 2020
Absent from practice
Brown wasn't present during the media-access portion of Thursday's practice, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown didn't appear on the Titans' first Week 7 injury report that was released Wednesday, so it won't be known until Thursday's practice concludes why he was absent. The wideout missed two games earlier in the season while recovering from a bone bruise in his knee, but he proceeded to handle 71 and 84 percent offensive snap shares in Weeks 5 and 6, respectively, totaling a combined 12 receptions for 138 yards and three touchdowns on 16 targets in wins over the Bills and Texans.
Oct 18, 2020
Scores twice in OT win
Brown caught five of seven targets for 56 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 42-36 overtime win over Houston.
ANALYSIS
Brown has three touchdowns in two games since returning from a two-game absence due to a knee injury. His first touchdown was a six-yarder in the first quarter, while Brown's seven-yard score with four seconds to go forced overtime. As the No. 1 wide receiver in a high-powered Titans offense that's averaging 32.8 points per game, Brown should maintain plenty of fantasy appeal in Week 7 despite a tricky matchup against the Steelers.
Oct 16, 2020
Good to go
Brown (knee) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Texans after practicing fully Friday, Erik Bacharach of The Tennessean reports.
ANALYSIS
The Titans' top wideout didn't practice Thursday, but that was after the team didn't work out Wednesday following Tuesday's win over the Bills. Brown's absence can therefore be chalked up to rep management. In his return to action in Week 5 after missing two games, Brown was on the field for 47 of a possible 66 snaps on offense, while hauling in seven of his nine targets for 82 yards and a TD. He'll remain a primary target for QB Ryan Tannehill once again this weekend against 1-4 Houston.
Oct 15, 2020
Sits out practice
Brown (knee) didn't practice Thursday, Erik Bacharach of The Tennessean reports.
ANALYSIS
The Titans didn't hold a practice Wednesday after playing Tuesday against the Bills, so Brown's absence Thursday could simply be rep management for the wideout, who returned to action in Week 5 after missing two games. Against Buffalo, Brown logged 47 of a possible 66 snaps on offense, en route to hauling in seven of his nine targets for 82 yards and a TD. With no reported setbacks in the contest, what Brown does at practice Friday should clarify his status for Sunday's game against the Texans.
Oct 13, 2020
Explosive in return from injury
Brown corralled seven of nine targets for 82 receiving yards and a touchdown during Tuesday's 42-16 win against the Bills.
ANALYSIS
With Tennessee fielding a depleted receiving corps because of Corey Davis and Adam Humphries being on the Reserve-COVID-19 List, Brown stepped right back into a lead role. After sitting out the Titans' second and third games of the year with a knee injury, Davis attracted two more targets than any other Tennessee player Tuesday night, doubling No. 2 pass-catcher Jonnu Smith's 40 receiving yards in the process. Davis and Humphries may be back in time for the Titans' Week 6 matchup against Houston's top-10 pass defense, but Brown has, at least, re-established a rapport with Tannehill.
Oct 13, 2020
Returning from two-game absence
Brown (knee) is listed as active Tuesday versus the Bills, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown opened the season by suffering a bone bruise in his knee Week 1, missing the Titans' next two games. Then, COVID-19 hit the team and forced the NFL to reschedule its Week 4 showdown against the Steelers to Week 7. The extra time afforded Brown may have helped him get back to full health, and he'll reenter a receiving corps without Corey Davis and Adam Humphries, both of whom are on the reserve/COVID-19 list. As a result, Brown may hit the ground running against a Buffalo defense that has allowed 165.5 yards receiving per game to WR this season.
Oct 13, 2020
Set to play Tuesday
Brown (knee), who is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Bills, will be available to play, Paul Kuharsky of 104.5 The Zone Nashville reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown's status will be officially clarified when the Titans release their inactive list approximately 90 minutes prior to Tuesday's 7 p.m. ET kickoff, but the wideout looks like he'll be ready to make his first appearance since the Titans' season opener. Despite getting in only one full practice since going down with the bone bruise in his knee, Brown should take on as many snaps and targets as he can handle Week 5 while fellow starting wideouts Corey Davis and Adam Humphries are on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Oct 10, 2020
Full practice, questionable designation
Brown (knee) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Bills, John Glennon of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Titans were finally able to log a formal practice Saturdayu and with it saw Brown participate fully. The questionable designation might simply be a cautionary measure by the team, but it certainly seems like a bit of positive news with Corey Davis and Adam Humphries both unlikely to move off the COVID-19 list before Tuesday's game. Kalif Raymond and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine would be the No. 2 and 3 receivers if Brown were to be active Tuesday.
Oct 8, 2020
Estimated as limited participant
Brown (knee) was once again listed as limited on Thursday's practice estimation, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Once again, the team didn't practice, but Brown's projected practice level suggests that he's nearing the point that he can resume game action. That said, Tennessee's contest against the Bills on Sunday is no lock to occur as scheduled, given that multiple members of the Titans' organization have tested positive for COVID-19.
Oct 7, 2020
Listed as limited on practice estimate
Brown (knee) was listed as limited on Wednesday's estimated practice report Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
With Corey Davis and Adam Humphries on the Titans' Reserve/COVID-19 list, Kalif Raymond and Nick Westbrook are the other wide receivers on the team's active roster in addition to Brown, who last suited up in Week 1. The Titans, whose Week 4 game against the Steelers was postponed, are currently schedule to face the Bills on Sunday at 1:00 ET.
Oct 6, 2020
May return to practice Wednesday
Coach Mike Vrabel said there's "a chance" Brown (knee) is cleared to practice Wednesday, if the Titans hold a session, John Glennon of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Titans haven't been cleared to reenter their facilities due to COVID-19 protocols and a number of positive tests among players and staff. Brown himself hasn't suited up since Week 1, the result of a bone bruise in his knee. Whenever Tennessee is able to practice next, we'll have a better sense of his potential to return to action, which may come as soon as Wednesday.
Oct 1, 2020
On track for Week 5
Brown (knee) is expected to be ready to play in the Titans' next game Week 5 versus the Bills on Oct. 11, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Rapoport notes that Brown -- who had missed the last two games with a bone bruise in his knee -- had a shot at being ready to play this weekend versus the Steelers, but that became a moot point after the NFL postponed the Tennessee-Pittsburgh game to a later date following a COVID-19 outbreak among Titans players and staff. As a result, Tennessee will essentially have a bye Week 4, giving Brown more time to move past the injury. Assuming he's ready to get back on the field if the NFL allows the Titans to resume practicing next week, Brown should immediately step back into a starting role at receiver alongside Corey Davis and Adam Humphries.
Sep 27, 2020
Could be out beyond Week 3
Brown, who is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Vikings, continues to nurse a "pretty significant" bone bruise in his knee and hasn't responded as well or as quickly to treatment as the Titans had hoped, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The injury will keep Brown sidelined for a second straight game Week 3, and given his slow recovery process to date, the wideout looks to be at real risk of missing additional time. Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill wasn't too troubled without Brown available in the Week 2 win over the Jaguars (18 for 24 for 239 yards and four touchdowns), with Corey Davis, Adam Humphries and Jonnu Smith taking on most of the targets for Tennessee. Tannehill may find similar success sans Brown in a Week 3 matchup with a vulnerable Vikings pass defense, but the 23-year-old's potential absence could loom larger in the near future with a couple tough home games on tap in Week 4 (Steelers) and Week 5 (Bills). The Titans should provide an update on Brown's condition again Wednesday, when the team begins Week 4 prep.
Sep 25, 2020
Won't suit up Week 3
Brown (knee) was been ruled out for Sunday's game in Minnesota, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After missing yet another week of practice, Brown won't be available for a second consecutive game day due to a bone bruise in his knee. Look for Corey Davis and Adam Humphries to lead the Titans' receiving corps again, with Kalif Raymond filling in on occasion.
Sep 24, 2020
Misses another practice Thursday
Brown (knee) missed practice again Thursday, Erik Bacharach of The Tennessean reports.
ANALYSIS
Back-to-back missed practices for Brown, who's dealing with a bone bruise in his knee, don't bode well for his status for Sunday's game against the Vikings. If the Titan's top wideout is out this weekend, Corey Davis and Adam Humphries would be in line to head the team's Week 3 wide receiver corps, with Cameron Batson and Kalif Raymond candidates to see added snaps.

Misses practice Wednesday
Brown (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Erik Bacharach of The Tennessean reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown, who's dealing with a bone bruise in his knee, sat out Week 2's win over the Jaguars, and it's unclear if he'll be back in time to suit up this weekend against the Vikings. In Brown's absence this past Sunday, Corey Davis and Adam Humphries headed the Titans' wide receiver corps, while Cameron Batson and Kalif Raymond saw added work in the team's offense.

Won't play Sunday
Coach Mike Vrabel relayed Friday that Brown (knee) is out for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
A bone bruise in his knee is the reason Brown will sit out Week 2 action, and possibly more. In his absence, Corey Davis (hamstring) -- health permitting -- and Adam Humphries will head the team's wide receiver corps Sunday, with Kalif Raymond and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine also in the mix for snaps.

Absent from early part of practice
Brown (knee) wasn't spotted during the early portion of Friday's practice, Erik Bacharach of The Tennessean reports.
ANALYSIS
A bone bruise in his knee has Brown looking iffy for Sunday's game against the Jaguars and he could be ruled out for Week 2 action as soon as Friday afternoon. If he's inactive or limited this weekend, added targets would be available for both Corey Davis (hamstring) and Adam Humphries, with Kalif Raymond and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine also in the mix.

Dealing with bone bruise
A bone bruise in his knee is "jeopardizing (Brown's) availability for Sunday's game against the Jaguars and possibly beyond," according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
ANALYSIS
Per Schefter, Brown, who didn't practice Thursday, is likely to be week-to-week with the issue and if the wideout is indeed forced to miss time, added looks in the Titans' passing game would be available for the likes of Corey Davis (hamstring) and Adam Humphries.

No practice Thursday
Brown (knee) didn't participate in Thursday's practice, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The knee issue rendered Brown a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, so it's somewhat concerning to see the second-year wideout take a step backward with regards to his activity a day later. He'll have another chance to get back on the field Friday, but if he fails to put in a full workout, Brown will likely carry a designation into Sunday's game against Jacksonville. Corey Davis (hamstring) was a limited participant in Thursday's session, so both of the Titans' top receivers are banged up heading into the Week 2 matchup.

Limited with knee injury
Brown (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown appears to have picked up a knee injury during Monday's win over the Broncos, in which he took a back seat to Corey Davis (hamstring) and was held to just 39 yards. With Davis now not practicing to begin the week, Brown could end up in position to draw increased targets against Jacksonville's inexperienced secondary on Sunday, a scenario which would put him in prime position to rebound as a high-end fantasy producer.

Not spotted Wednesday
Brown is not on the field for the early portion of Wednesday's practice, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The Titans' first practice report of the week will be released later Wednesday, at which point the exact extent of Brown's participation will be revealed. Given that the second-year pro is just two days removed from Monday's win over the Broncos, in which he was held to five catches for 39 yards, he could simply be receiving a rest day.

Plays second fiddle in MNF opener
Brown hauled in five of eight targets for 39 receiving yards during Monday's 16-14 win against the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
Monday night's performance was a severe dropoff from Brown's average fantasy output over the latter stages of 2019, as he averaged 100.9 receiving yards per game with five total touchdowns Weeks 12 through 17 of last year. Against Denver, it was instead Corey Davis who enjoyed the bulk of the wide receiver production with 101 yards on seven catches, while Adam Humphries pitched in with six catches and 47 yards of his own. Brown doesn't exactly need double-digit targets to be fantasy relevant, however, as his 12.5 yards per target was better than any player in the NFL during 2019. Chalk up his ho-hum performance to a matchup against a Vic Fangio defense that ranked top-12 against the pass last year. A Week 2 matchup against the Jaguars' inexperienced secondary may be just what the doctor ordered in regards to Brown's fantasy outlook.

Avoids Week 1 injury report
The Titans don't list Brown (undisclosed) on the initial Week 1 injury report the team released Thursday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Tennessee had been managing Brown's reps as recently as last week after he suffered what was believed to be a minor injury in an Aug. 28 session, but his absence from this week's injury report confirms that he's moved past the issue. After averaging an impressive 12.5 yards on 84 targets as a rookie, Brown may struggle to maintain that level of efficiency in 2020, but he should be able to make up for any downturn by taking on more overall volume in the Tennessee passing game. That said, a run-oriented Titans offense headlined by reigning NFL rushing champion Derrick Henry may limit Brown's target count relative to some of the other No. 1 receivers around the league.

Fits in stretching Tuesday
Brown (undisclosed) took part in stretching prior to Tuesday's practice, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown departed Friday's session early, sitting out Sunday and Monday as a result. The nature of the injury remains unknown, but the second-year receiver at least is taking the first step to getting back on the field. Once healthy, Brown will serve as the No. 1 WR in the Titans' expected run-heavy scheme.

Misses practice Sunday
Brown (undisclosed) isn't practicing Sunday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown was removed from Friday's practice with what appeared to be a minor injury. His absence will be a concern if it stretches beyond a few days longer, but there hasn't yet been any suggestion he's in danger of missing Week 1 at Denver. Brown will even have an extra day to get back to full strength, as the Titans and Broncos will be the last two teams to square off in the opening week of the season (10:10 p.m. ET on Monday).

Exits practice early
Brown (undisclosed) didn't finish Friday's practice, but appeared to be okay as he left the field, according to Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com.
ANALYSIS
Though Brown's issue doesn't appear to be anything too concerning, his status will nonetheless be worth monitoring in the coming days. The 2019 second-rounder is slated to serve as the Titans' top wideout this season, on the heels of recording a 52/1,051/8 stat line as a rookie.

Focused on improving routes
Brown's top priorities this offseason were remaining well conditioned and running more consistent routes, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown noted that he wanted to make all of his routes look the same so that he didn't tip the play type. He specifically noted that he was working on maintaining his pad level on his routes, potentially a flaw he noticed in offseason film study. It's positive that Brown is actively seeking out ways to improve on an incredibly efficient rookie season, as he's likely to have coverage rolled his way more often as the team's top receiver entering the 2020 campaign.

Tallies 51 yards in loss
Brown hauled in three of his six targets for 51 yards in the team's AFC Championship game loss.
ANALYSIS
Brown made an immediate splash, hauling in a 37-yard reception on the second play of the game. However, he was held quiet for the remainder of the contest, concluding his underwhelming postseason. Setting his playoff performance aside, Brown proved to be a dynamic receiver in his rookie campaign and quickly surpassed Corey Davis as the team's top target. He'll look to build on his strong production in his second season as a pro.

Shakes off injury
Brown (knee) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Brown's knee injury was revealed when he was a limited participant in Monday's practice, but that issue was short-lived and he'll be ready for Thursday's game versus the Jaguars. Although he's still marked as the No. 4 wideout, Brown played 44 percent of offensive snaps in Week 2. However, he couldn't follow up his 100-yard NFL debut, posting three receptions for 25 yards on five targets in Week 2 versus the Colts. .

Dealing with knee issue
Brown (knee) was listed as a limited participant in Monday's practice estimation, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Given that Tennessee played Sunday, the team didn't conduct a formal practice Monday, but Brown's limited designation makes his status worth monitoring ahead of Thursday's game against Jacksonville. The rookie second-round pick caught three of his five targets for 25 yards in Sunday's loss to Indianapolis.
