Keep up with the latest injuries from the Eagles vs Cowboys game on Sunday with our National Football League injury report.Nov 10, 2025
Won't play Week 10
Dillon (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Packers.
ANALYSIS
Dillon will be a healthy scratch for a third consecutive game while the Eagles go with three active running backs in Saquon Barkley, Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley. Dillon's next opportunity to play is Week 11 against the Lions on Sunday.
Oct 19, 2025
Healthy scratch Week 7
Dillon (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
Dillon has worked in a rotational role out of the backfield through the first six games of the regular season, but he will observe Sunday's road game on the sidelines in street clothes. The Eagles will go with a three-man backfield of Saquon Barkley, Will Shipley and Tank Bigsby. Dillon's next opportunity to suit up is Week 8 against the Giants on Sunday, Oct. 26.
Oct 10, 2025
Three touches in Week 6
Dillon carried the ball once for two yards and caught a pair of passes for 18 yards in Thursday's loss to the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Dillon received his first two targets of the year, but overall his workload remained minimal. He's yet to receive more than three touches or see the field for more than 10 offensive snaps in a game this season.
Oct 7, 2025
Two carries in loss
Dillon carried the ball twice for 12 yards in Sunday's loss to the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
Dillon has seen between five and 10 offensive snaps in all five games this season, never touching the ball more than three times. He's been efficient in that very small sample, averaging 5.3 yards on 11 total carries, but he would need an injury to Saquon Barkley to find his way to fantasy relevance.
Sep 30, 2025
Minor role again in Week 4
Dillon carried the ball three times for 17 yards in Sunday's 31-25 win over Tampa Bay.
ANALYSIS
Will Shipley returned from an oblique injury, but Dillon remained the No. 2 back behind Saquon Barkley, seeing the field for eight offensive snaps compared to Shipley's three. Unless Barkley gets hurt, however, Dillon is unlikely to see enough snaps to have much fantasy relevance.
Sep 24, 2025
Zero carries in Week 3
Dillon did not receive a carry or a target in Sunday's 33-26 win over the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Dillon received exactly three carries in each of the Eagles' first two games, averaging 8.5 offensive snaps. His already small role nearly dried up in Week 3, as he saw the field for just five offensive snaps and never touched the ball.
Sep 15, 2025
Small role as Barkley's backup
Dillon was elevated to the No. 2 running back for Sunday's game against the Chiefs due to Will Shipley's rib injury but carried the ball just three times for 19 yards.
ANALYSIS
Dillon had at least 178 carries for three straight seasons with the Packers before missing 2024 with a neck injury, but his role in Philadelphia seems destined to be much smaller. He played just eight offensive snaps in the season opener and just nine in Week 2, carrying the ball just three times in each game. It would take an injury to Saquon Barkley for his role to significantly expand.
Sep 5, 2025
Three carries after Shipley injury
Dillon rushed three times for 10 yards and wasn't targeted in Thursday's 24-20 win over the Cowboys.
ANALYSIS
Dillon didn't register a touch until the second half. He opened the game as the No. 3 running back behind Saquon Barkley and Will Shipley, but Shipley left the game due to a rib injury late in the first half, allowing Dillon to climb a rung on the depth chart. Dillon could hold onto a change-of-pace role against the Chiefs in Week 2 if Shipley doesn't play, but Barkley should continue to get the vast majority of touches among Philadelphia's running backs regardless.
Aug 22, 2025
Not slated to play Friday
Dillon isn't in line to play in Friday's preseason game at the Jets, EJ Smith of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
After sitting out the 2024 season due to complications stemming from a stinger, Dillon joined the Eagles on a one-year contract in March. He then suited up for both of the team's first two exhibitions, totaling eight carries for 34 yards and four catches for 13 yards. He's been listed as Philadelphia's third RB on the unofficial depth chart behind Saquon Barkley and Will Shipley during training camp, which may not afford him much more than short-yardage work once Week 1 rolls around.
Aug 16, 2025
Minimal production Saturday
Dillon carried the ball three times for seven yards and lost 14 yards on his only reception in Saturday's 22-13 preseason loss to the Browns.
ANALYSIS
The former Packer got the start with Saquon Barkley and Will Shipley both held out, and Dillon played only one drive himself before turning the Eagles' backfield over to Montrell Johnson. The burly back's hold on a roster spot seems secure, despite his questionable decision to catch a deflected ball well behind the line of scrimmage rather than batting it down for an incompletion, but Dillon's biggest challenge will remain staying healthy after he missed the entire 2024 season due to neck issues. He should provide the thunder to Shipley's lightning on the rare occasions Barkley is off the field for Philadelphia.
Aug 7, 2025
Gains 54 yards off bench
Dillon took five carries for 27 yards and three catches for 27 yards in Thursday's preseason opener against Cincinnati.
ANALYSIS
Dillon repped ahead of Shipley in the first practice of training camp, but it seems the 2024 fourth-round pick has already moved ahead of the 27-year-old. While Dillon played well and got all his work in the first half, he didn't have any touches until Shipley had already finished his day (with eight touches for 52 yards on the first two drives). If there's any consolation for Dillon's backup case, it's the fact that Shipley didn't have much luck apart from a 38-yard gain on a perfectly blocked play, otherwise getting stuffed near the line.
Jul 23, 2025
Ahead of Shipley on Day 1
Dillon got reps with the first-team offense before Will Shipley on Wednesday, Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
It probably doesn't mean much at this point, on the first day of training camp, with the Eagles initially deferring to Dillon's experience (597 carries in 60 regular-season games) over Shipley's familiarity (he was the team's third-string RB last year). Dillon seems to be back at full health after a neck injury last August ended his fifth season with the Packers before it even got started. He signed a one-year contract in Philadelphia this spring, getting less than $200,000 guaranteed but with a chance to replace Kenneth Gainwell (Steelers) as the team's No. 2 RB. While Shipley is a recent fourth-round pick and surely more nimble, Dillon's 240-plus-pound frame could have some value to the Eagles if Saquon Barkley were to miss time.
Mar 12, 2025
Finds new home in Philly
The Eagles and Dillon (neck) agreed to terms of a contract Wednesday, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon sustained stingers in Week 17 of the 2023 campaign and also during preseason 2024, which kept him on injured reserve this past season. Per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Dillon has received clearance from a top neck specialist, allowing him a new opportunity in Philadelphia, where he'll compete with 2024 fourth-rounder Will Shipley as the top backup behind workhorse running back Saquon Barkley. Josina Anderson of BovadaHub.com reported that Dillon received a one-year deal from the Eagles.
Aug 27, 2024
Hits injured reserve
The Packers placed Dillon (neck) on injured reserve Tuesday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
For the second time in the calendar year 2024, Dillon is dealing with a stinger, which will end his upcoming season before it even begins. With Dillon on IR, Josh Jacobs will have unfettered access to Green Bay's backfield, while rookie third-rounder Mar'Shawn Lloyd (hamstring) and Emanuel Wilson will serve as the reserves to begin the campaign.
Aug 21, 2024
Treated with caution
Head coach Matt LaFleur said Wednesday that the Packers will be cautious with Dillon (neck) because "anytime you have a repeated injury there's concern," Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon missed Week 18 and two playoff games last season with a neck stinger, and he's now dealing with the same injury less than three weeks before Green Bay's Week 1 contest Sept. 6 against the Eagles in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Meanwhile, rookie running back MarShawn Lloyd is still recovering from a hamstring strain, leaving Emanuel Wilson, Ellis Merriweather and Nate McCrary as the depth backs behind Josh Jacobs. Wilson appears in good shape to clinch a spot on the Week 1 roster, and he might even get some carries if Dillon and Lloyd aren't available.
Aug 20, 2024
Dealing with stinger
Dillon (shoulder) is not practicing Tuesday due to a stinger, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon's injury could prevent him from suiting up for Saturday's preseason finale against the Ravens, though he has plenty of time to recovery ahead of Green Bay's regular-season opener against the Eagles on Sept. 6. The veteran running back is looking like the favorite to open the 2024 campaign as the top backup to Josh Jacobs, though Emanuel Wilson and rookie third-round pick MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) are still contending for backfield standing.
Aug 12, 2024
Quiet in preseason opener
Dillon had four carries for two yards in Saturday's preseason opener against the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Dillon did not do much in the first game of the exhibition season, but he only saw action on Green Bay's second drive before calling it a day. Dillon looks like the favorite to snag the backup running back job behind Josh Jacobs -- particularly with rookie MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) missing time with a couple leg injuries -- but Emanuel Wilson is also contending for the job.
Jul 23, 2024
Praised by coach at camp
Coach Matt LaFleur said Tuesday that Dillon is "hands down" in the best shape he's ever seen him, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The 247-pound back has always relied on power more so than speed and agility, but even by that standard he looked sluggish last season en route to 3.4 yards per carry across 178 totes. Dillon's YPC mark has dropped with each passing year since the Packers took him late in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, and he failed to put up fantasy-starter-worthy numbers last season even when Aaron Jones was inactive. Jones is now gone, replaced by Josh Jacobs and third-round pick MarShawn Lloyd, with the latter absent from early training camp practices due to a hip injury. There are perhaps still obstacles ahead, namely Lloyd, but it sounds like Dillon is off to a strong start in his quest to maintain the second spot on Green Bay's backfield depth chart. Dillon re-signed with the Packers in March on a one-year, $2.74 million contract.
Apr 30, 2024
Facing added competition
Dillon is expected to face competition from third-round rookie MarShawn Lloyd for the Packers' No. 2 running back job behind Josh Jacobs, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon re-signed with the Packers on a fourth-year qualifying offer and isn't even considered a lock to make the Packers' 53-man roster, per Schneidman. Dillon averaged a career-worst 3.4 yards per carry in 2023, scoring just two touchdowns. He was also inactive for both playoff games. Green Bay likely hopes Lloyd shows enough to pass Dillon on the depth chart.
Mar 15, 2024
Return to Green Bay official
Dillon (thumb/neck) officially re-signed with the Packers on Friday.
ANALYSIS
After missing the final three games of last season due to a neck stinger, Dillon was in danger of moving on to a new organization following the completion of his rookie contract, but the 2020 second-round pick will remain in Green Bay on what's called the four-year qualifying contract, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. With his signing made official by the NFL, Dillon will emerge from the early days of the new league year as the Packers' current No. 2 running back behind newcomer Josh Jacobs, who is taking over for the departed Aaron Jones (Vikings). If he's in that role Week 1 of the upcoming campaign, Dillon likely would be poised for his workload from the last three years, which amounted to nearly 13.0 touches per game.
Mar 14, 2024
Returning to Green Bay
Dillon (thumb/neck) is in line to re-sign with the Packers, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Considering Dillon missed the last three games of the season (including playoffs) due to a neck stinger, his return to Green Bay is pending a physical. Assuming he clears that hurdle, he'll be a part of a revamped backfield with Josh Jacobs swapping in for Aaron Jones as the team's top runner. A 2020 second-round pick, Dillon averaged 59.8 yards from scrimmage per game and scored 16 total touchdowns in 49 contests over the last three campaigns.
Feb 2, 2024
Finishes on injured list
Dillon (thumb/neck) tallied 178 carries for 613 yards and two touchdowns and 22 receptions for 223 yards over 15 games in the 2023 season.
ANALYSIS
Dillon saw action in Green Bay's first 14 games of the season, but a pair of injuries prevented him from playing in two of the team's last four regular season games as well as both of its postseason contests. Dillon will be a free agent this offseason, and the Packers could try to bring him back. However, after averaging 5.3 YPC as a rookie that number dipped each of the last three seasons all the way to 3.4 in 2023, so they may opt to go in a different direction.
Jan 20, 2024
Sitting out again Saturday
Dillon (thumb/neck) is listed as inactive for Saturday's divisional-round game at San Francisco, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon thus will miss a third consecutive contest due to the neck stinger that he suffered during a Week 17 win in Minnesota. On a positive note, he managed his first on-field work since then when he practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, potentially setting him up to play beyond Saturday if the Packers are able to pull of a victory. With Dillon again out of the lineup, Aaron Jones will continue to dominate Green Bay's backfield, while Emanuel Wilson and Patrick Taylor are the options for any RB reps that linger.
Jan 18, 2024
Status in question for Saturday
Coach Matt LaFleur said Dillon (thumb/neck) will be questionable for Saturday's divisional-round game at San Francisco, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon logged his first notable on-field work Thursday since sustaining a neck stinger Week 17 at Minnesota. At the very least, he took part in the team stretch and had his helmet on prior to drills, per Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site. Dillon thus has a chance to reclaim his standing as the team's No. 2 running back behind Aaron Jones (knee/finger) this weekend, something that'll be confirmed, one way or another, about 90 minutes for Saturday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.
Jan 17, 2024
Misses another practice
Dillon (thumb/neck) remained sidelined at practice Wednesday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon, who was listed as a non-participant on Tuesday's practice estimate, thus has one more chance to upgrade his participation level ahead of Saturday's divisional round contest against the 49ers. If Dillon -- who last suited up in Week 17 -- remains sidelined this weekend, Emanuel Wilson and Patrick Taylor would be next up for backfield snaps that don't go to starter Aaron Jones.
Jan 16, 2024
DNP to start the week
The Packers listed Dillon (thumb/neck) as a non-participant on Tuesday's practice estimate, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Green Bay did not hold an official practice, but Dillon would not have been able to participate had they done so. That means the fourth-year running back has yet to practice since suffering a neck stinger in Week 17. Since he has been sidelined, Patrick Taylor and Emanuel Wilson have served as backup options to Aaron Jones (knee) in the backfield.
Jan 14, 2024
Won't play Sunday
Dillon (thumb/neck) is inactive for Sunday's wild-card game in Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Dillon, who has yet to practice since suffering a neck stinger during Week 17 action, will miss a second consecutive contest as a result. In Dillon's place, Patrick Taylor likely will earn any backfield reps that don't go to top running back Aaron Jones, who has reeled off three straight performances of 110-plus yards on the ground. Green Bay will need a victory Sunday in order for Dillon to have a chance to suit up again this season.
Jan 12, 2024
Doubtful for Sunday
Coach Matt LaFleur said Friday that Dillon (thumb/neck) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's wild-card contest in Dallas, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Per Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, Dillon was absent from drills for a third day in a row Friday, so his designation for Sunday doesn't come as a surprise. Assuming Dillon misses a second consecutive game due to a neck stinger, the Packers backfield will be in good hands with Aaron Jones (knee/finger), who has cracked the century mark in rushing yards in three straight outings. Any RB reps that don't go to Jones likely will be handled by Patrick Taylor.
Jan 11, 2024
Another DNP on Thursday
Dillon (thumb/neck) didn't participate in Thursday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Dillon was knocked out of the Packers' Week 17 win at Minnesota with a stinger that hasn't afforded him any official on-field work in the meantime. Having said that, he joined his teammates for Thursday's team stretch before moving to the rehab group, according to Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official site. The development may mean Dillon has made some progress in his recovery, but he now has just one more opportunity to practice Friday before Green Bay potentially makes a ruling on his availability for Sunday's wild-card contest in Dallas.
Jan 11, 2024
Takes part in team stretch Thursday
Dillon (neck/thumb) took part in the Packers' team stretch before joining the rehab group during Thursday's practice, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon appears as if he'll go down as a non-participant for a second day in a row as the team prepares for Sunday's wild-card game at Dallas. A neck stinger is to blame and also something that sidelined the running back for this past Sunday's win against the Bears. Ultimately, Thursday's injury report will reveal what, if anything, Dillon was able to handle.
Jan 10, 2024
No practice reps Wednesday
Coach Matt LaFleur said Dillon (neck/thumb) didn't practice Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon has yet to log any on-field work since suffering a stinger Week 17 at Minnesota, but he'll have two more chances this week to put himself on a path to play in Sunday's wild-card game in Dallas. Aaron Jones has been dominating the Packers backfield down the stretch, so if Dillon isn't able to suit up this weekend, Patrick Taylor and, to a lesser extent, Emanuel Wilson would be the candidates to fill in behind Jones.
Jan 5, 2024
Out for Week 18
Dillon (neck/thumb) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bears, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon missed Week 15 with a broken thumb and then suffered a stringer Week 17. It would seem to be the latter injury that's preventing him from playing this week, though it's also worth noting that he hasn't been targeted with a pass in two appearances since he broke his thumb. Dillon's next chance to play will be in the wild-card round if the Packers can beat Chicago without him this Sunday while using Patrick Taylor off the bench behind Aaron Jones.
Jan 5, 2024
Misses practice again
Dillon (neck/thumb) isn't practicing Friday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
A third straight missed practice suggests Dillon isn't likely to play Sunday against the Bears. Even if Dillon suits up, Aaron Jones figures to take a comfortable majority of the RB touches in a crucial game for the Packers.
Jan 4, 2024
Sitting out again Thursday
Dillon (thumb/neck) missed Thursday's practice, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon is listed with his lingering right thumb injury and a neck stinger on the Packers' Week 18 practice report. He's been able to play through the first issue over the last two games, but the second one forced him out of this past Sunday's win at Minnesota. With no on-field work to speak of yet this week, Dillon may be trending in the wrong direction to suit up Sunday against the Bears. Still, he'll have more chance to practice Friday before Green Bay potentially makes a ruling on the running back's availability for the regular-season finale.
Jan 3, 2024
No activity at walkthrough
Dillon (thumb/neck) didn't participate in Wednesday's walkthrough.
ANALYSIS
Dillon continues to be listed with the broken right thumb that sidelined him Week 15 against the Buccaneers, but he's now tending to a neck stinger that knocked him out of this past Sunday's game in Minnesota. There's been no indication that his odds to suit up for Sunday's season finale versus the Bears are in peril, but his absence Wednesday was forecast by the fact that he stayed indoors after taking part in the team stretch prior to practice, per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. Dillon's activity level, or lack thereof, the next two days may be telling for his upcoming availability.
Dec 31, 2023
Dealing with stinger
Dillon is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Vikings after being diagnosed with a stinger, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon suffered the injury in the third quarter and was spotted on the sideline rubbing his hand and wrist area. The exact nature of the issue is unclear, though with Aaron Jones leading the backfield effectively, Green Bay could opt to play it safe with Dillon. Prior to exiting, he had recorded seven carries for 27 yards.
Dec 29, 2023
Clear for Sunday's contest
Dillon (thumb) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game in Minnesota, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Both Aaron Jones (knee/finger) and Dillon operated with practice restrictions this week, but both players will be available to the Packers offense Sunday. In Week 16 at Carolina, Jones dominated the touches (22) and snap share (52 percent) on his way to 135 yards from scrimmage, while Dillon had seven carries for 12 yards and one touchdown on 18 percent of the plays. Dillon may increase that share due to being another week removed from the broken right thumb that sidelined him Week 15, but considering how Jones is running at the moment, the former may be relegated to short-yardage situations.
Dec 28, 2023
Still limited Thursday
Dillon (thumb) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Dillon remains impacted by the broken right thumb that kept him sidelined for a Week 15 loss to the Buccaneers. He was able to play through it this past Sunday in Carolina, but he earned a season-low snap share (18 percent) on his way to seven carries for 12 yards and one touchdown. Fellow running back Aaron Jones (knee/finger) also has had a cap on his reps this week, so Friday's injury report will unveil whether or not the pair enter the weekend with designations ahead of Sunday's visit to the Vikings.
Dec 27, 2023
Listed as limited Wednesday
Dillon (thumb) was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough.
ANALYSIS
The Packers' backfield duo of Dillon and Aaron Jones (knee/finger) continue to operate with practice restrictions as the team dives into Week 17 prep. In his return from a one-game absence this past Sunday at Carolina, Dillon received 12 snaps on offense, which resulted in seven carries for 12 yards and one touchdown. Meanwhile, Jones had 22 touches for 135 yards from scrimmage on a 52 percent snap share. Assuming both players are able to suit up Sunday in Minnesota, Dillon likely will serve as a distant complementary piece to Jones.
Dec 24, 2023
Records score in return
Dillon had seven carries for 12 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-30 victory over the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
Dillon returned from a one-game absence and found paydirt for the second time this season, but he did not do much else for those who slotted him into Week 16 lineups. Dillon did not record fewer than 17 touches in any game between Weeks 11-14, but with him working back from a broken thumb and fellow running back Aaron Jones handling a full workload, he played only a complementary role Sunday. He will likely find himself in a similar spot when the Packers take on the Vikings in Week 17.
Dec 24, 2023
Returning to action in Week 16
Dillon (thumb) is active for Sunday's game in Carolina, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon will put an end to a one-game absence due to a broken right thumb, but the primary reason he missed last Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers in the first place was ball-security issues. The Packers appear to believe it won't be a problem for Dillon this weekend as he rejoins Aaron Jones (knee/finger) in the team's backfield. In the seven games (Weeks 1, 4 and 7-11) in which both running backs have been available this season, Dillon has racked up 71 carries for 241 yards, 15 catches (on 19 targets) for 138 yards and no touchdowns.
Dec 22, 2023
Deemed questionable, looking better
Dillon (thumb) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Carolina, with coach Matt LaFleur saying Friday that he feels good about the running back's progress, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
A broken thumb kept Dillon out for last week's 34-20 loss to Tampa Bay, allowing Patrick Taylor to take 43 percent of snaps (but only three touches) while mixing in behind Aaron Jones in Jones' first game back from an MCL sprain. Jones will lead the way again this Sunday, with either Dillon or Taylor coming in behind him. Dillon is more of a threat to get a significant number of touches, even if the broken thumb slightly compromises his ball security and ability to catch passes. It's possible his active status comes down to a game-time decision ahead of the Packers' 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday.
Dec 21, 2023
Stays limited at practice
Dillon (thumb) practiced on a limited basis Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Going back to last week, Dillon now has logged three consecutive capped sessions as he attempts to see if he can play through a broken right thumb. Ball security appears to be the biggest sticking point for his availability on game days, and he likely will enter the weekend with a designation for Sunday's contest at Carolina if he's unable to get back to all on-field work Friday. Fellow running back Aaron Jones (knee/finger) also has been limited this week, but there are fewer question marks for his status ahead of Week 16 action.
Dec 20, 2023
Limited to begin Week 16 prep
Dillon (thumb) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Prior to missing the first game of his four-year career this past Sunday versus the Buccaneers, Dillon was contained to one limited practice Friday in which he was seen wearing a large wrap to protect his broken right thumb. Ultimately, it was determined that ball security was too much of a concern to risk keeping him active for Week 15, and he appears to be in a similar boat as the Packers begin preparations for Week 16. Fellow running back Aaron Jones also had a cap on his reps Wednesday, so the statuses of the pair will need to be watched as Sunday's contest at Carolina approaches.
Dec 17, 2023
Missing first game of career
Dillon (thumb) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Buccaneers, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon showed up on the Packers' Week 15 injury report Wednesday as a non-participant due to a thumb issue, which he eventually revealed to be a broken right thumb. Ball security thus is the primary concern for his availability, considering he was donning a large wrap on his right hand during his sole limited practice Friday. Now that Green Bay has deemed Dillon inactive Sunday, the team will welcome back Aaron Jones to the backfield for the first time since Week 11, when he suffered an MCL sprain that resulted in three DNPs. Aside from Jones, Patrick Taylor and Kenyan Drake are the Packers' other active running backs.
Dec 17, 2023
Unlikely to play through broken thumb
Dillon (thumb) remains listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers but isn't expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
After sustaining a broken right thumb in Monday's 24-22 loss to the Giants, Dillon was listed as a non-participant on both of the Packers' first two Week 15 injury reports before returning to practice Friday as a limited participant. Considering Dillon was still wearing a cast on his right hand as of Friday, his ability to catch and secure the ball could be compromised, so it's not overly surprising that the Packers are leaning toward holding him out. Assuming Dillon is included on the Packers' inactive list -- which will be released 90 minutes before the game's 1 p.m. ET kickoff -- Patrick Taylor and Kenyan Drake would be the backup options at running back behind Aaron Jones (knee), who appears to be trending toward a return to the lineup following a three-game absence.
Dec 15, 2023
Status in question for Week 15
Dillon (thumb) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest versus the Buccaneers, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon managed just one limited practice this week due to the broken thumb that he suffered during Monday's road loss to the Giants, and Friday's appearance on the field included him wearing a cast on his right hand. The Packers still are determining whether or not Dillon can be effective while not being able to carry the ball as he normally would, something that'll be clearer about 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. Fellow running back Aaron Jones also is questionable for Week 15 action as he closes in on his return from the sprained MCL that he sustained back in Week 11, but he appears to be in a better spot, health wise, considering he's strung together six straight limited listings on injury reports going back to last week.
Dec 15, 2023
Returns to practice
Dillon (thumb) is practicing Friday, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon broke his thumb during Monday's loss to the Giants and was then held out of practice Wednesday and Thursday. He's back on the field Friday with a wrap over his hand, with Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com noting that the running back is still trying to figure out if he can properly secure the ball. Fellow running back Aaron Jones (MCL sprain) is practicing again, and the Packers presumably would be more inclined to hold Dillon out if they have Jones back in the lineup Sunday against the Bucs.
Dec 14, 2023
Missing practice due to broken thumb
Dillon, who didn't practice Thursday, told Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that he sustained a broken thumb during Monday's loss at the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Silverstein noted that Dillon was wearing a brace on the thumb, and the running back himself said that he and the Packers need to determine whether playing with the issue will be a hinderance and/or exacerbate things going forward. Dillon will have one more chance this week to mix into drills Friday, at which point the team may make rulings on both him and Aaron Jones, the latter of whom is making his way back from a sprained MCL. Jones' on-field work has been capped the last two weeks, but considering he's actually handled reps while Dillon has not during Week 15 prep, the former seems like the better bet of the two to be available Sunday versus the Buccaneers.
Dec 14, 2023
Week 15 status up in air
Coach Matt LaFleur said Thursday, "We'll see," regarding Dillon's (thumb) ability to play Sunday against the Buccaneers, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon has focused on rehab instead of practice so far this week due to a thumb injury, but LaFleur wouldn't specify its nature Thursday, saying, "I'm not getting into the details of that." Lafleur did tell Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site that Dillon got hurt on the team's final offensive possession this past Sunday but gutted through it as Green Bay took a brief 22-21 lead at the Giants with less than two minutes remaining. As the Packers backfield stands, Aaron Jones appears to be in a far better spot, health wise, than Dillon as he progresses through the later stages of his recovery from the sprained MCL that he suffered back in Week 11.
Dec 14, 2023
Not practicing Thursday
Dillon (thumb) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon also was listed as a DNP on Wednesday's estimated practice report due to a thumb issue after previously dealing with a groin injury the previous three weeks, when he filled in for Aaron Jones (knee) out of the Packers backfield. This time around, Dillon seems to be in more danger of sitting out Sunday versus the Buccaneers than Jones does after the latter was at least limited Thursday. Friday's injury report may reveal who among the duo enters the weekend with an injury designation.
Dec 13, 2023
Dealing with thumb injury
Dillon was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated injury report due to a thumb issue, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon had been dealing with a groin injury that impacted his practice reps ahead of the Packers' previous three games, but he now wouldn't have practice at all Wednesday if the team had held a session due to a new health concern. At the same time, Aaron Jones (knee) maintained his listed activity level from last week, but it remains to be seen if he'll do enough Thursday and Friday to put himself in a position to return to action Sunday versus the Buccaneers. Dillon has filled in for Jones as Green Bay's primary running back over the last three games, notching 53 touches for 246 yards from scrimmage during that span, but the situation suddenly is cloudy with Dillon's DNP to begin Week 15 prep.
Dec 12, 2023
Over 60 total yards in start
Dillon rushed 15 times for 53 yards and secured two of three targets for 25 yards in the Packers' 24-22 loss to the Giants on Monday night.
ANALYSIS
Dillon drew another start for Aaron Jones (knee) but found running room hard to come by all night, with his longest rush going for only eight yards. The bruising back had an interesting performance through the air as well, gaining 35 yards on one of his two catches and losing 10 yards on the other. Dillon will presumably be called upon to helm Green Bay's backfield again in Week 15 against the Buccaneers if Jones is still sidelined, despite the fact he's turned in mostly unremarkable results thus far in his chances with the lead role.
Dec 11, 2023
Set to start again Monday
Dillon will start at running back for the Packers on Monday at the Giants with Aaron Jones (knee) inactive, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
For a third week in a row, Dillon dealt with a groin injury that capped his activity level Thursday and Friday, but he logged a full session Saturday and sidestepped a designation for Week 14. He'll again lead the Packers backfield Monday with Jones missing a third straight game, but it should be noted that the latter made some notable progress in his recovery from a sprained MCL by managing limited practices this week. While Green Bay awaits Jones' return to the lineup, Dillon will look to build upon the 32 carries for 121 yards and four catches (on four targets) for 52 yards that he's managed the past two contests.
Dec 9, 2023
All clear for Monday
Dillon (groin) was a full participant in Friday's practice and doesn't carry an injury designation into Monday's matchup against the Giants, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
ANALYSIS
Meanwhile, fellow running back Aaron Jones (knee) logged three straight practices with limited participation and could make his return from a two-game absence after he was listed as questionable for Monday. Dillon has performed admirably over the past two weeks logging 32 carries for 116 yards along with four receptions for 52 yards, but he could take somewhat of a backseat in the event Jones is available to play. Expect more information on the veteran's status, and in turn Dillon's expected workload, to come prior to the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff Monday.
Dec 8, 2023
Limited in practice
Dillon (groin) was a limited practice participant Friday, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon played through the same injury the past two weeks, taking 36 touches for 168 yards while playing 52 and 63 percent of snaps on offense. The real question is whether Aaron Jones (knee) will return from his two-game absence for Monday's matchup with the Giants, and there looks to be at least some chance of that happening after Jones logged limited practices Thursday and Friday.
Dec 7, 2023
Remains limited by groin issue
Dillon was limited at Thursday's practice due to a groin injury.
ANALYSIS
Dillon endured some practice restrictions last week due to the same health concern, but it didn't impact his availability for a Week 13 matchup with the Chiefs. In the eventual 27-19 win, he continued to serve as the Packers' No. 1 running back with Aaron Jones (knee) sidelined, taking 18 carries for 73 yards and hauling in his only target for 14 yards. Jones returned Thursday as a limited participant, though, so Dillon may soon move back to his complementary role out of Green Bay's backfield Monday at the Giants, assuming both are active.
Dec 4, 2023
Generates 87 yards in start
Dillon rushed 18 times for 73 yards and caught his lone target for 14 yards in Sunday's 27-19 win over Kansas City.
ANALYSIS
Dillon got another start in place of the injured Aaron Jones (knee) after being cleared of his own knee issue earlier in the week. The bruising backup produced 87 yards from scrimmage on 19 touches after going for 81 on 17 combined touches in his spot-start against Detroit last week. Dillon would be in line for a similar workload should Jones remain sidelined for next week's matchup against the Giants on Monday Night Football.
Dec 1, 2023
Ready for Week 13
Dillon (groin) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game versus the Chiefs, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
With Aaron Jones (knee) ruled out for a second straight contest, Dillon again will get a chance to pace the Packers backfield. It should be noted that Dillon has dealt with a groin injury in back-to-back weeks, but he looked spry at times during the team's win at Detroit on Thanksgiving, turning 17 touches into 81 yards from scrimmage. A fruitful outing may be in store for him Sunday against a Kansas City defense that has allowed the second-most yards per carry (4.8) to opposing running backs this season.
Nov 30, 2023
Officially limited Thursday
Dillon (groin) was a limited practice participant Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Dillon has been dealing with a groin injury for two weeks running, but he's far more healthy than backfield mate Aaron Jones, who is tending to a sprained MCL and has yet to practice since sustaining the injury Week 11. Prior to last Thursday's game at Detroit, Dillon wasn't listed as more than a limited participant on Packers practice reports but still suited up for the 29-22 win, turning 17 touches into 81 yards from scrimmage. Friday's report will unveil whether or nor Dillon enters this weekend with an injury designation for Sunday's contest against the Chiefs.
Nov 30, 2023
Back at practice Thursday
Dillon (groin) returned to practice Thursday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon didn't practice Wednesday, but his return to the field a day later has the running back trending in a positive direction ahead of Sunday night's game against the Chiefs. The Packers' upcoming injury report will reveal Dillon's participation level Thursday.
Nov 29, 2023
Not practicing
Dillon (groin) isn't practicing Wednesday, Mike Spofford of packers.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon was listed as questionable last week before taking 17 touches for 81 yards in a 29-22 Thanksgiving win over the Lions. Aaron Jones (MCL sprain) missed that game and still isn't practicing, while third-stringer Patrick Taylor is the team's healthiest RB at the moment. Taylor got 48 percent of the snaps last Thursday --nearly matching Dillon (52 percent -- but with only four touches on his 27 plays.
Nov 23, 2023
Solid numbers against Detroit
Dillon carried the ball 14 times for 43 yards and caught all three of his targets for 38 yards in Thursday's 29-22 win over the Lions.
ANALYSIS
While his 3.1 yards per carry average isn't impressive, Dillon came up with some big plays in key spots, including a 22-yard reception that kicked off a scoring drive early in the second quarter. It's the second time in the last three games Dillon's topped 80 scrimmage yards, but his Thanksgiving performance came with Aaron Jones (knee) inactive and Patrick Taylor being the only other back to get touches, with four. With a few extra days to recuperate, Jones will have a chance to return in Week 13 against Kansas City.
Nov 23, 2023
Suiting up Thursday, as expected
Dillon (groin) is listed as active Thursday at Detroit, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
In the first outing of a likely multi-game absence from Aaron Jones due to a sprained MCL, Dillon will brush off an injury that capped him to limited listings on all three Week 12 practice reports and suit up Thursday. Assuming he's ready for a robust workload, Dillon should get all the touches he can handle as he looks to build upon his performance since the team's Week 6 bye. Over the last five games, he's averaged just under 4.0 yards on his 53 rushes and recorded 13 catches (on 15 targets) for 121 yards. Any RB reps that don't go to Dillon will be available to Patrick Taylor and James Robinson.
Nov 22, 2023
Likely to play Thursday
Dillon (groin) is in line to play Thursday at Detroit, Jordan Schultz of BleacherReport.com reports.
ANALYSIS
With Aaron Jones sidelined for the first of what will likely be a multi-game absence due to a sprained MCL, Dillon's availability is key for the Packers to have a semblance of a rushing attack. However, Dillon himself was listed as limited Monday through Wednesday with a groin injury and received a questionable tag for Week 12 action. Assuming he avoids Green Bay's inactive list Thursday morning, he should be the team's top RB in a healthy group that also includes Patrick Taylor (16 touches this season) and James Robinson (no snaps since Week 13 last year). Since a Week 6 bye, Dillon has averaged a shade under 4.0 yards on his 53 carries, hauled in 13 of 15 passes for 121 yards and scored no touchdowns over the last five games.
Nov 22, 2023
Questionable for Week 12
Dillon (groin) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game in Detroit, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
The Packers emerged from Sunday's win against the Chargers with known health concerns at running back after Aaron Jones (knee) and Emanuel Wilson (shoulder) got injured on the same possession. Dillon's appearance on Monday's practice report as limited due to a groin issue thus was a surprise, but he was able to log capped walkthroughs Tuesday and Wednesday and put himself into a position to be available Week 12. If he's confirmed as active about 90 minutes before Thursday's 12:30 p.m. ET kickoff, Dillon likely will be Green Bay's top option out of the backfield, though Patrick Taylor and James Robinson also will be on hand for any RB reps that linger.
Nov 21, 2023
Remains listed as limited
Dillon (groin) is listed as limited on Tuesday's practice estimate.
ANALYSIS
While Dillon continues to have a cap on his listed reps due to a groin injury, fellow running backs Aaron Jones (knee) and Emanuel Wilson (shoulder) wouldn't have taken part at all Monday or Tuesday if the Packers had held practice. Coach Matt LaFleur told Ryan Wood of USA Today on Tuesday that it's "highly unlikely" that Jones will be available Thursday in Detroit, so Dillon appears set for increased reps, assuming he's healthy enough to play. Wednesday's injury report will reveal whether or not Dillon has a designation ahead of Week 12 action.
Nov 20, 2023
Begins week as limited participant
Dillon was listed on Monday's estimated practice report as a limited participant due to a groin injury.
ANALYSIS
Dillon is one of three Green Bay running backs listed on the team's first Week 12 injury report, joining Aaron Jones (knee) and Emanuel Wilson (shoulder). Unlike Jones and Wilson -- who were both estimated as non-participants Monday -- Dillon wasn't forced to exit Sunday's 23-20 win over the Chargers early due to his injury, and he would seem to be in better shape to play this Thursday against the Lions than the other two backs. Perhaps in anticipation of a Week 12 absence from either or both of Jones or Wilson, the Packers signed Patrick Taylor off the Patriots' practice squad Monday to offer additional depth out of the backfield. Dillon, who finished with 14 carries for 29 yards and four catches for 32 yards against the Chargers, would likely serve as the Packers' lead back if Jones isn't able to suit up Thursday.
Nov 19, 2023
Role expanded by injuries
Dillon rushed 14 times for 29 yards and caught all four of his targets for 32 yards in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Dillon saw his workload increase after Aaron Jones went down with a knee injury and backup Emanuel Wilson exited with a shoulder issue during the first half. Although Dillon wasn't particularly productive and rookie wideout Jayden Reed actually led the Packers with three rushes for 46 yards and a score, Dillon could garner a starter's share of touches if Jones is sidelined going forward. Despite underwhelming in a similar situation earlier this season, Dillon entered Sunday with better recent production, which should have his stock trending upward ahead of Thursday's visit to the Lions in Week 12.
Nov 12, 2023
Leads Green Bay on ground
Dillon rushed nine times for 70 yards and caught one of three targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 23-19 loss to the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Dillon's team-leading rushing output included a career-long scamper of 40 yards. Despite Aaron Jones returning to lead the Packers in touches the past couple weeks, Dillon has now totaled at least 75 scrimmage yards in three of his last five games. He'll strive to continue his solid recent complementary work next Sunday versus the Chargers.
Nov 6, 2023
Snap count takes hit
Dillon had nine carries for 40 yards and one reception for three yards in Sunday's 20-3 victory over the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Dillon played more snaps than any other Packers running back in each of the team's first seven games, but his snap count percentage declined for the fourth time in as many games in Week 9, and he wound up playing fewer than 40 percent of the snaps for the first time all season. With fellow running back Aaron Jones having gotten gradually healthier recording a season-high 24 touches in the same contest, expect Dillon to back up Jones moving forward.
Oct 29, 2023
Busy as pass-catcher Sunday
Dillon carried the ball six times for 11 yards and caught all five of his targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
Neither Dillon nor Aaron Jones found much success on the ground, as quarterback Jordan Love led the Packers in rushing yards on the afternoon, but the two RBs did combine for a 9-59-0 receiving line on 10 targets. Dillon's never been a consistent asset through the air, but with Green Bay scrambling to find something that works, short, high-percentage passes to the running backs might become a bigger element of the game plan as the coaching staff tries to build Love's confidence back up.
Oct 22, 2023
Performs well in defeat
Dillon rushed 15 times for 61 yards and caught both his targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
Dillon led the Packers in carries despite teammate Aaron Jones returning to the lineup. Seemingly on a snap count, though, Jones finished with 11 touches for 57 yards. Meanwhile, Dillon paced Green Bay in both rushing and receiving yards, also snapping a nine-game streak with under 4.0 yards per carry dating back to last season. Although Jones' workload could increase in Week 8 versus the Vikings, Dillon's consecutive contests with 75-plus scrimmage yards should keep him firmly in the backfield rotation.
Oct 9, 2023
Solid showing as workhorse back
Dillon rushed 20 times for 76 yards and a touchdown and failed to bring in his only target in the Packers' 17-13 loss to the Raiders on Monday night.
ANALYSIS
With Aaron Jones (hamstring) sidelined, Dillon reverted to the lead back role he'd held in Weeks 2 and 3 and turned in his best performance of the season. The bruising fourth-year pro recorded season highs in carries and rushing yards, and he added his first touchdown of the campaign on a five-yard run just before the halfway point of the third quarter. Dillon's lack of a presence in the passing game was the one blemish on his night, but he's built himself a bit of fantasy equity if he's called on to reprise the top role in a highly favorable Week 7 matchup against the Broncos following a Week 6 bye.
Oct 9, 2023
In line for leading role Monday
Dillon is slated to lead the Packers backfield for Monday's game in Las Vegas with Aaron Jones (hamstring) inactive, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon has operated as Green Bay's lead running back for most of the season due to Jones' lingering hamstring injury, but his production has been lacking, to say the least. Through four contests, Dillon is averaging just 2.7 yards on his 44 carries, hauled in three of five passes for 25 yards and scored no touchdowns. As for the team's RBs not named Dillon, Patrick Taylor and Emanuel Wilson also figure to get some reps Week 5.
Sep 28, 2023
Modest workload in Week 4 loss
Dillon rushed five times for 11 yards and failed to bring in his only target in the Packers' 34-20 loss to the Lions on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Dillon's backfield mate Aaron Jones returned from a two-game absence due to a hamstring injury, but the two players actually logged the same amount of carries. The real culprit in the sparse overall usage for Green Bay's ground attack was the big first-half deficit the Packers found themselves in, and the fact they were never able to whittle a 24-point halftime deficit to less than 10 at any time in the second half. The entire offense will have a chance to reset during a Week 5 bye, and Dillon will likely return to his normal complementary role alongside a presumably healthy Jones during a Week 6 road matchup against the Raiders on Monday night, Oct. 9.
Sep 28, 2023
Jones returns Thursday
Dillon will be joined by Aaron Jones (hamstring) in the Packers backfield Thursday versus the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Dillon has operated as Green Bay's No. 1 running back the last two games, but he hasn't been very productive, compiling 26 carries for 88 yards (3.4 YPC) and an eight-yard catch. Even if Jones can't handle his typical workload, his mere presence may hinder Dillon's potential to produce. In the one contest that Jones was available this season, though, Dillon earned two rushes inside the five-yard line Week 1 in Chicago, so any short-yardage reps could yield fantasy utlity Thursday.
Sep 24, 2023
Quiet in comeback
Dillon rushed 11 times for 33 yards in Sunday's 18-17 win over the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Dillon again started while teammate Aaron Jones (hamstring) was sidelined. Although he had a long rush of 14 yards, it overall was another underwhelming outing for Dillon. In fact, quarterback Jordan Love led the Packers in rushing yards (39) and scored with a one-yard keeper. Without any targets in the passing game either, Dillon's performance did little to alleviate Jones' absence, which could come to an end in Week 4 versus the Lions. Should that transpire, Dillon would likely return to being Green Bay's second option at tailback.
Sep 24, 2023
Likely to replace Jones again
Dillon is expected to serve as the Packers' lead back in Sunday's game against the Saints with Aaron Jones (hamstring) inactive for the second contest in a row, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Jones closed Week 3 prep with two straight limited practices and was listed as questionable heading into Sunday, but he ultimately didn't make enough progress in his recovery from the hamstring injury he sustained in the season-opening win over the Bears to gain clearance to play. As a result, Dillon should be in line for another starting nod, with Emanuel Wilson and Patrick Taylor available as depth options behind him. In the Packers' Week 2 loss to Atlanta while Jones was sidelined, Dillon played 68 percent of the offensive snaps and carried 15 times for 55 yards to go with an eight-yard reception on his lone target.
Sep 17, 2023
Modest performance in loss
Dillon rushed 15 times for 55 yards and caught his only target for eight yards in Sunday's 25-24 loss to the Falcons.
ANALYSIS
Dillon started with Aaron Jones (hamstring) sidelined but only turned in a mediocre performance. The big-bodied tailback's long rush was for just eight yards and he made minimal contribution in the passing game. Along with averaging merely 2.64 yards per carry this season, Dillon has now gone six straight games without topping 4.0 yards per rush dating back to last term. He could return to his backup role if Jones is cleared to play in Week 3 versus the Saints.
Sep 17, 2023
Poised for lead role Sunday
Dillon is slated to step in as the Packers' lead option out of the backfield Sunday against the Falcons with Aaron Jones (hamstring) listed as questionable for the contest but not expected to play, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After tweaking his hamstring on a 35-yard catch-and-run for a touchdown in the Packers' Week 1 win over the Bears, Jones failed to practice in any fashion Wednesday through Friday and is poised to sit out the Week 2 contest. Dillon worked behind Jones in the win in Chicago, mustering just 19 yards on 13 carries while adding two catches for 17 yards on three targets. Despite the poor showing against the Bears, Dillon has been a more respectable performer over his four-year career, averaging 4.2 yards per carry and 8.4 yards per reception. He should have a path to getting 15-plus touches Week 2, potentially making him a useful No. 2 running back or flex option for fantasy managers. Dillon could find more open running room in Atlanta than he did in Chicago since the Falcons will be without one of their top tacklers in middle linebacker Troy Andersen (concussion), who was been ruled out for Sunday's game.
Sep 10, 2023
Paces Packers in touches
Dillon rushed 13 times for 19 yards and caught two of three targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 38-20 win over the Bears.
ANALYSIS
Dillon led Green Bay in touches after running mate Aaron Jones exited during the third quarter with a tweaked hamstring. Despite his workload, though, Dillon failed to make much of an impact, with his contribution paling in comparison to Jones' 127 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns on 11 touches. Depending on Jones' status, Dillon could be promoted to the Packers' starting tailback position in Week 2 versus the Falcons.
Aug 26, 2023
Gets five carries in tune-up
Dillon took five carries for 24 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
The Packers played most of their healthy starters, with Dillon's backfield mate Aaron Jones being the glaring exception. Dillon opened the game with a 14-yard carry, later subbing out for Emmanuel Wilson on the same drive. Dillon's final carry came on the first snap of the second quarter, shortly before QB Jordan Love found WR Christian Watson for a six-yard touchdown. Dillon is one of the better No. 2 backs in the league and should have a significant role behind Jones, per usual, when the Packers travel to Chicago in Week 1.
Aug 11, 2023
Gets feet wet with two carries
Dillon rushed twice for 14 yards and wasn't targeted in Friday's 36-19 preseason win over the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
Dillon and Aaron Jones both mixed in with Green Bay's other staters on the team's first two drives. Both running backs are ticketed for prominent roles in 2023, as the Packers are likely to lean on the running game to take the pressure off quarterback Jordan Love, who has only one NFL start under his belt. Dillon has scored seven scrimmage touchdowns in each of the past two seasons.
Jan 11, 2023
Underwhelms in season finale
Dillon rushed nine times for 33 yards in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Dillon failed to secure any of his three targets in the contest, as well. The 24-year-old running back was in a near-even split in playing time with Aaron Jones, as each back played 33 and 31 of the Packers' 60 offensive snaps, respectively. The loss to the Lions on Sunday eliminated Green Bay from the playoff picture, so Dillon and the rest of the team will look ahead to the offseason. The veteran will enter the final year of his rookie contract in the 2023 season, as he is set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2024. Dillon finished the season with 770 yards and seven touchdowns while adding 28 catches for 206 yards. With Dillon likely playing for the Packers next season, it remains to be seen what the offense will look like around him. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is under contract through the 2026 season, but there is speculation that retirement or a mutual parting of ways could be on the horizon. Additionally, Jones remains under contract in 2023 as well, so it's possible the team continues to committe
Jan 2, 2023
TD streak at five games
Dillon carried the ball 12 times for 41 yards and a touchdown and failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 41-17 win over the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
The power back was held under 50 rushing yards for the third straight game, but Dillon kept his fantasy value afloat by getting into the end zone for the fifth straight contest on a two-yard plunge early in the fourth quarter. The Packers need a win in Week 18 against the Lions to get into the playoffs, so look for Dillon and Aaron Jones to both be heavily involved in the game plan once again.
Dec 25, 2022
Scores Christmas Day touchdown
Dillon carried the ball 11 times for 36 yards and a touchdown and caught two of three targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 26-20 win over the Dolphins.
ANALYSIS
His one-yard TD plunge in the third quarter tied the game at 20-20, and the Packers' defense dominated the final frame to secure the win. Dillon led Green Bay in carries and rushing yards with Aaron Jones (ankle) hurting, so even though the big back didn't fully take advantage of the opportunity, he could be poised for an increased workload in a must-win Week 17 game against the Vikings if Jones isn't 100 percent.
Dec 20, 2022
Avoids concussion protocol
Coach Matt LaFleur said Dillon cleared the protocol for head injuries on Monday night, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
ANALYSIS
Prior to his departure in the second half of Monday's 24-12 win against the Rams, Dillon had scored two rushing touchdowns and hauled in all three targets for 35 yards, but he otherwise wasn't very efficient on the ground (11 carries for 36 yards). Meanwhile, Aaron Jones again produced well, with 21 touches for 126 yards from scrimmage and a receiving TD. With Dillon's health not an issue moving forward, the Packers will have their usual backfield duo for Sunday's visit to Miami.
Dec 19, 2022
Possibly concussed after two TDs
Dillon is being evaluated for a concussion Monday against the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Dillon's return can be considered questionable at this time. Prior to getting injured, Dillon rushed 10 times for 40 yards and two touchdowns while catching all three of his targets for 35 yards. Aaron Jones should lead Green Bay's backfield for the remainder of Monday's game.
Dec 4, 2022
Season high in win
Dillon rushed 18 times for 93 yards and a touchdown, and caught all three of his targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 28-19 win over the Bears.
ANALYSIS
Dillon turned in a season high in rushing yards while teammate Aaron Jones (shin) was limited during the second half. The big-bodied Dillon rumbled his way to a 21-yard touchdown during the fourth quarter, giving him a score in consecutive games after finding the end zone just once through the first 11 weeks. Fresh off his best performance of the campaign, Dillon will now head into Green Bay's bye week on a high note.
Dec 2, 2022
Ready to face Chicago
Dillon (quadriceps) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Chicago, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon and Aaron Jones (shin/glue) both are cleared to play after limited practices throughout the week. Dillon is coming off his best game since Week 1 and faces a poor defense, but Jones has consistently gotten more playing time and touches since the first few weeks of the season when the split was more even.
Dec 1, 2022
Stays limited Thursday
Dillon (quadriceps) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Both Dillon and Aaron Jones (shin/glute) are operating under caps on their practice reps to begin Week 13 preparations. There's a chance Friday's injury report clears up the situation, and if the status quo remains between the duo Sunday at Chicago, Dillon would be the No. 2 behind Jones the starter.
Nov 30, 2022
Limited by quad injury
Dillon (quadriceps) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Dillon joined fellow running back Aaron Jones (shin/glute) on the injury report to kick off Week 13 prep. The latter has been a regular on reports for four weeks in a row, while former is showing up after enduring an awkward tackle near the end of this past Sunday's loss at Philadelphia. Dillon and Jones have two more sessions this week to put themselves in positions to suit up Sunday at Chicago.
Nov 28, 2022
Hits pay dirt on SNF
Dillon rushed eight times for 64 yards and a touchdown and caught three of four targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 40-33 loss to Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
Dillon and Aaron Jones (15 touches for 99 yards and a score) literally carried the Packers offense in a heated primetime battle against the top contender in the NFC. It was the 24-year-old's first touchdown since Week 1, which seems low given his size (6-foot, 247 pounds) and bruising running style. Aaron Jones is still the lead back in Green Bay, but his backup has received double-digit touches in four of the last five contests while serving in a complementary role. Dillon will look to build off of his best game of the 2022 season in a soft matchup against the Bears on Sunday.
Nov 18, 2022
Limited to seven touches in loss
Dillon had six carries for 13 yards and one reception for 10 yards in Thursday's 27-17 loss to the Titans.
ANALYSIS
Dillon played about as many snaps as he is averaging in Thursday's contest, but he wound up finishing with fewer than 10 touches for the third time in seven appearances. Since the start of that stretch he has averaged just 42.3 yards from scrimmage per game and has not found paydirt, so he has provided little assistance for those including him in fantasy lineups.
Nov 13, 2022
Performs well in complementary role
Dillon ran the ball 13 times for 65 yards and was not targeted in the passing game in Sunday's 31-28 win over Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Aaron Jones (24/138/1) was able to suit up after injuring his ankle last week, which kept Dillon in his usual change-of-pace role Sunday. The 24-year-old has been effective in his role behind Jones this season (4.1 YPC), but the ceiling on his touches and lack of touchdowns (one total) have dampened Dillon's upside in 2022. The bruising backup is still worth rostering for his high floor and potential future value if more touches open up. For now, Dillon is clinging on to flex value heading into a tough matchup against a stingy Titans' run defense this Thursday.

Finishes game for injured starter
Dillon rushed 11 times for 34 yards and caught two of four targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 15-9 win over the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Dillon's final stat line was nothing to write home about, but the big takeaway from this game was the premature exit of starter Aaron Jones (ankle). The latter left the game in the second half and did not return, leaving Dillon to handle most of Green Bay's rushing duties. Rookie Kylin Hill was the only other back to see action with one carry for seven yards. If Jones is forced to miss time, Dillon's workload should increase heavily, so fantasy managers should monitor the upcoming injury report for Week 10. The 24-year-old was already averaging double-digit touches while producing right around four yards per carry, so an increase in volume and an uptick in targets would elevate Dillon into RB2 territory if he is asked to start against Dallas next Sunday.
Oct 31, 2022
Powers for 54 yards in loss
Dillon rushed 10 times for 54 yards and caught his lone target for nine yards in Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Dillon was able to get back to double-digit touches after failing to do so in two of his last three contests. The plodding back still played second fiddle to Aaron Jones (20 carries for 143 yards), and he also had to leave the game briefly due to an ankle injury after he was pulled down awkwardly on the turf. Dillon returned to the game and did not appear to be limited from that point forward, so fantasy managers may have dodged a lengthy absence. The 24-year-old is averaging 4.2 yards per carry despite his inconsistent usage this season, so he should remain rostered in the event his playing time stabilizes. Dillon could still draw flex appeal even with limited touches in a soft matchup against the Lions next Sunday.
Oct 24, 2022
Limited to four carries Sunday
Dillon rushed four times for 15 yards and didn't draw a target in the Packers' 23-21 loss to the Commanders on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The bruising tailback's disappointing season hit a new low Sunday, as Dillon logged the fewest carries and rushing yards of the campaign. He also wasn't targeted for the second time in three contests, leaving him fantasy outlook notably depressed going into a Week 8 matchup against the Bills on Sunday night.
Oct 16, 2022
Another mediocre outing
Dillon rushed 10 times for 41 yards and caught four of six targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 27-10 loss to the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Dillon again led the Packers in carries despite rushing for under 50 yards for the fourth time in six games this season. The tailback was also involved in a fumbled handoff exchange during the second quarter, although that turnover was pinned on quarterback Aaron Rodgers. While Dillon's consistent involvement keeps him a weekly factor to consider, Green Bay's offensive struggles while arguably underutilizing teammate Aaron Jones clouds both players' respective outlooks ahead of Week 7's matchup versus Washington.
Oct 9, 2022
Limited to six carries
Dillon rushed the ball six times for 34 yards in Sunday's 27-22 loss to the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Dillon saw a season-low six touches, with Aaron Jones instead racking up 13 carries. Dillon was effective with his limited work, highlighted by gains of 11 and seven yards. Also notable was his lack of involvement as a receiver, as he failed to record a reception or be targeted for the first time in a game this season. Dillon has been a fantasy disappointment through five weeks, tallying only 245 rushing yards, 69 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Oct 2, 2022
Season high on ground
Dillon rushed 17 times for 73 yards in Sunday's 27-24 overtime win over the Patriots. He also caught one of two targets for 11 yards.
ANALYSIS
Dillon gained steam over the course of Sunday's contest, ultimately finishing with a season high in rushing yards. His workload came while running mate Aaron Jones enjoyed another highly efficient outing, carrying 16 times for 110 yards. With the Packers now boasting three straight wins, expect both Dillon and Jones to continue garnering significant workloads as Green Bay travels to London to face in Giants in Week 5.
Sep 29, 2022
Returns to full practice
Dillon (knee) was a full practice participant Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Dillon made a surprise showing on Wednesday's practice report as limited with a knee issue, but in the end it wasn't cause for concern ahead of Sunday's contest against the Patriots. His efficiency on the ground has been lacking through three games -- 3.5 YPC on 40 rushes -- but he's supplemented his stat line with eight catches (on 12 targets) for 58 yards while scoring one TD on the ground.
Sep 28, 2022
Limited by knee injury
Dillon was limited at Wednesday's practice by a knee injury, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
This is the first reference of a health concern for Dillon this season, but on a positive note he was able to handle some drills to kick off Week 4 prep. His activity level nonetheless should be monitored closely this week to get a sense of if he's in danger of being limited or even out Sunday against the Patriots. In such a scenario, Aaron Jones would handle the bulk of the backfield reps for the Packers.
Sep 25, 2022
Little room to run
Dillon rushed 12 times for 32 yards and caught two of three targets for six yards in Sunday's 14-12 win over the Buccaneers.
ANALYSIS
Dillon's total on the ground closely resembled that of running mate Aaron Jones, who rushed 12 times for 36 yards. Without contributing much in the passing game either, it was Dillon's lowest yardage output of the early campaign. He'll strive to get back on track when the Packers host the Patriots in Week 4.
Sep 18, 2022
Takes back seat to Jones in Week 2
Dillon rushed 18 times for 61 yards and caught one of three targets for six yards in Sunday's 27-10 win over the Bears.
ANALYSIS
Dillon finished with one more touch than Aaron Jones, though the latter turned his 18 touches into 170 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns. The Packers still entrusted Dillon to run out the clock down the stretch despite a botched hand-off in the third quarter that led to an Aaron Rodgers fumble. Dillon has out-touched Jones 34-26 through two weeks, but Green Bay's entire running game could find room sparse in Week 3 against the stout Buccaneers front.
Sep 11, 2022
Leads offense in defeat
Dillon rushed 10 times for 45 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-7 loss to the Vikings. He also caught five of six targets for 46 yards.
ANALYSIS
Dillon was Green Bay's most productive offensive player, leading the team in rushes and receiving yards while scoring its only touchdown. Although running mate Aaron Jones topped him with 49 yards on just five carries, Dillon saw the larger workload and was trusted near the goal line. After being stuffed on a fourth-down play at the one during the first half, Dillon rebounded by scoring from two yards in the second half. As the Packers adjust to life without superstar wideout Davante Adams, Dillon and Jones should remain key contributors both on the ground and in the air.
Aug 23, 2022
Likely rested again
Dillon isn't expected to play in Green Bay's final preseason game Thursday against Kansas City, with the Packers holding out their top players to prepare for Week 1 at Minnesota, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon and Aaron Jones will both finish the preseason without playing any snaps. It remains to be seen if the workload split between the two in the regular season is close to 50/50 the way it was after Week 10 last year following Jones' MCL sprain. Dillon had 180 total yards and two TDs in two matchups with Minnesota in 2021, including the game Jones missed (Week 11) due to the aforementioned knee injury.
Aug 19, 2022
Unlikely to play Friday
Dillon isn't expected to play in Friday's preseason game against the Saints, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
With all of Dillon, Aaron Jones and Kylin Hill (PUP, knee) unavailable, Patrick Taylor, Tyler Goodson and Dexter Williams will compose Green Bay's backfield in the team's second exhibition. Dillon's last opportunity to make an appearance this preseason arrives Thursday in Kansas City.
Aug 17, 2022
Could catch 50-plus passes?
Packers QB Aaron Rodgers recently said it's "realistic" for both Dillon and Aaron Jones to catch 50 passes this season, NFL.com's Kevin Patra reports.
ANALYSIS
It's a reasonable enough task for Jones, who landed in the range of 47-52 receptions each of the past three seasons. Dillon is much less likely to get there, but it isn't out of the question after he showed impressive receiving skills for a big back last season with a 34-313-2 receiving line on 37 targets. The 247-pounder will never be the slickest route-runner, but he also hasn't dropped a pass in the NFL and remains rather difficult to tackle. Dillon took more work away from Jones as last season progressed, and with WR Davante Adams traded away this spring, there's some thought the Packers will find a way to give Dillon more touches without taking anything off Jones' plate.
May 6, 2022
Expected to split work in 2022
Dillon (ribs) and Aaron Jones could split the work "50-50" in the Packers' backfield in 2022, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic suggests.
ANALYSIS
Jones played 52 percent of the snaps to Dillon's 43 percent in 2021, but with Dillon ascending, Schneidman believes those numbers will be even closer in the season ahead. Dillon's 2021 campaign was cut a couple quarters short by a broken rib, but no issues have been reported since, so he should be ready to go when the Packers begin offseason team activities later this month.
Jan 23, 2022
Suffers fractured rib Saturday
Dillon sustained a broken rib during Saturday's divisional-round loss to the 49ers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Prior to his departure near the end of the first half, Dillon had seven carries for 25 yards and one touchdown. According to Rapoport, the injury is severe enough that it would have been difficult for Dillon to be ready for the NFC Championship Game, if the Packers had advanced. They did not, though, so Dillon will aim for a full recovery by the offseason program.
Jan 22, 2022
Scores TD in playoff loss
Dillon (chest) rushed seven times for 25 yards and a touchdown during the Packers' 13-10 loss to the 49ers in their NFC divisional-round matchup Saturday night. He exited the game for good due to his injury late in the first half.
ANALYSIS
Dillon's final carry of the night came with 56 seconds remaining in the second quarter. The bruising back did provide those rolling with him in postseason fantasy contests one highlight, that being his six-yard touchdown run with 9:25 remaining in the first quarter that opened the scoring on the night. Despite the disappointing outcome from a team perspective Saturday night, Dillon's second season was certainly a success that was highlighted by 803 rushing yards and seven total touchdowns over 17 games.
Jan 22, 2022
Dealing with chest injury
Dillon is questionable to return to Saturday's playoff game against San Francisco due to a chest injury.
ANALYSIS
The exact nature and severity of the injury are not yet clear. Dillon's absence may mean Aaron Jones faces less competition for carries for the remainder of the game.
Jan 9, 2022
Quiet start
Dillon ran for 63 yards on 14 carries and caught a four-yard pass on one target against Detroit on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Dillon started in place of Aaron Jones (knee) and played effectively enough, but his appearance was abbreviated in this meaningless game, denying him the pass-catching production he would normally project for here in a matchup like this. Fourth-string back Patrick Taylor took over for Dillon for most of the second half and turned 11 carries into 53 yards and a touchdown. Jones should be back by the time the Packers exit their first-round bye in the playoffs, so Dillon should return to an off-the-bench role at that point. He finishes the regular season with 803 yards and five touchdowns on 187 carries (4.3 YPC) while catching 34 passes for 313 yards and two touchdowns on 37 targets (91.9 percent catch rate, 8.5 YPT).
Jan 9, 2022
May be featured with Jones out
Dillon and Patrick Taylor are the running backs available to the Packers offense Sunday in Detroit with Aaron Jones (knee) inactive, Mike Spofford of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Green Bay is opting to rest Jones, who has dealt with a knee injury since Week 10. Dillon is the clear top option between himself and Taylor, but it's unclear if the team will ride the former or opt for a split of the RB snaps and touches with the latter. No matter, Dillon has handled at least 50 percent of offensive snaps in five of the last seven games, a span in which he averaged 16.6 touches for 80 yards from scrimmage and scored six total TDs.
Jan 3, 2022
Ices game with two scores
Dillon rushed 14 times for 63 yards and two touchdowns while catching two of three targets for 20 more yards in Sunday's 37-10 win over the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
Aaron Jones (13 touches for 106 yards) was more efficient in terms of per-touch production, but Dillon got extended run in the second half and pounded his way to two scores. It was the 2020 second-round pick's second two-score game this season, and he now has seven touchdowns overall. Dillon has worked his way into a "thunder and lightning" timeshare with Jones, staying fantasy-relevant even after his backfield mate returned from injury. The Packers clinched the first seed in the NFC, so it will be interesting to see if they rest any starters against the Lions next week. If Jones does end up resting or playing limited snaps, Dillon would see a huge boost in value in the regular-season finale.
Dec 25, 2021
Solid complementary performance
Dillon rushed nine times for 41 yards and secured all three of his targets for 15 yards in the Packers' 24-22 win over the Browns on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Dillon operated in his usual complementary role with efficacy, averaging 4.6 yards per carry and also recording the third-highest reception tally on the evening for Green Bay. Dillon does have back-to-back single-digit carry tallies, capping his fantasy value somewhat heading into a Week 17 home date against the Vikings.
Dec 19, 2021
Punches in touchdown
Dillion rushed seven times for 22 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-30 win over the Ravens. He also caught his lone target for 13 yards.
ANALYSIS
Dillion opened the scoring for Green Bay with a two-yard touchdown plunge during the second quarter. While that marked his fourth end-zone trip over his last five games, Dillion otherwise didn't get much going, with his long rush going for just six yards. In contrast, teammate Aaron Jones carried 13 times for 58 yards and caught both his targets for 12 yards and a score. Even though Sunday's yardage wasn't anything special, Dillion's consistent involvement in tandem with Jones, as well as his recent scoring touch in Green Bay's high-powered offense, still makes him a solid option in Week 16 versus Cleveland.
Dec 13, 2021
Leads team in rushing
Dillion rushed 15 times for 71 yards and was not targeted in the passing game in Sunday's 45-30 win over Chicago.
ANALYSIS
Dillon continued to see the lion's share of rushing attempts in comparison to Aaron Jones (15 to five), while latter took over the receiving work (three catches to zero). Both players bring such differing rushing profiles to the table, with the larger Dillon bringing a physical north-south running style, while Jones is more agile and is a smoother receiver out of the backfield. This is developing into a timeshare situation similar to the Cleveland Browns, who have the "thunder and lighting" combination of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt (when both are healthy). Both talented backs give Aaron Rodgers even more weapons to torment defenses with, and both players carry value in standard leagues heading into a Week 15 matchup with Baltimore.
Nov 28, 2021
Maintains role as lead back
Dillon recorded 20 carries for 69 yards in Sunday's 36-28 win over the Rams. He added five receptions for 21 yards and a touchdown.
ANALYSIS
Dillon saw 14 carries in the second half of the game as the Packers looked to run out the clock on a lead, and he out-carried Aaron Jones 20-10 as a result. Despite that impressive volume, the most notable part of Dillon's production was his work as a receiver. He recorded the first receiving touchdown of his career midway through the third quarter and now has four or more receptions in three of his last four games. After the contest, coach Matt LaFleur called the backfield "A 1A and 1B" situation according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, so all indications suggest the Dillon will remain heavily involved in the offense even with the return of Jones.
Nov 28, 2021
Gets Jones back in fold
Dillon will be joined by Aaron Jones (knee) in the Packers backfield in the latter's return to the lineup Sunday versus the Rams, Mike Spofford of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Jones sat out last Sunday's loss at Minnesota due to an MCL sprain suffered one week prior, but his absence will be contained to one contest after he got through a pregame workout unscathed. The breakdown of reps between Jones and Dillon is up in the air. In the nine outings in which Jones has been healthy this season, Dillon ranged between four and 16 touches and 25 and 44 percent of the offensive snaps en route to 8.4 touches for 54.3 yards from scrimmage per game while scoring one receiving TD.
Nov 21, 2021
97 combined yards in first start
Dillon rushed 11 times for 53 yards and caught all six targets for 44 more yards in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
Dillon received his first career start in place of Aaron Jones (knee), who is still recovering from a sprained MCL. The second-year back wasn't able to repeat last week's two-score performance in relief of Jones, but he was more efficient on ground (4.8 yards per carry). Jones' status for Week 12 is still uncertain, so Dillon could get another start against the Rams next Sunday if the Packers opt to rest Jones for one more week before its bye.
Nov 20, 2021
Locked in for first career start
Dillon is set to make his first NFL start Sunday in Minnesota with the Packers officially ruling top back Aaron Jones (knee) out for the contest, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After Jones exited last week's 17-0 win over the Seahawks and was later diagnosed with an MCL sprain, the expectation was that he would be sidelined for 1-to-2 weeks. Unsurprisingly, Jones was unable to practice Wednesday through Friday while managing the injury, clearing the way for Dillon to step in as Green Bay's clear lead back this weekend. Through his first two NFL seasons, the six-foot, 247-pound Dillon has averaged an excellent 4.6 yards per carry, but it's his improvement as a pass catcher in Year 2 that could set him up for a three-down role in his Week 11 start. Dillon is averaging a stellar 10.9 yards per target across his 18 looks on the season, and the Packers' lack of established depth behind him means he'll likely get all the work he can handle so long as the game stays competitive. He's a clear must-start option in all weekly leagues while Jones is sidelined.
Nov 15, 2021
Likely set for Week 11 start
Dillon is expected to serve as the Packers' lead back in Sunday's game against the Vikings after starter Aaron Jones (knee) was diagnosed Monday with a "mild" MCL sprain that will likely sideline him for 1-to-2 weeks, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Green Bay has yet to provide an official update on Jones' condition, but the fifth-year back appears on track to miss his first game of the season after suffering the injury in question in the Packers' 17-0 win over the Seahawks this past weekend. Following Jones' departure, Dillon dominated the work out of the backfield and finished with 128 yards from scrimmage and a two touchdowns on 23 touches (21 carries, two receptions). While he's a less accomplished receiver than Jones and may not hold as sizable of a role on obvious passing downs, Dillon's combination of size (six-foot, 247 pounds) and burst makes him one of the NFL's better No. 2 options. Moreover, the lack of established depth behind him should leave Dillon primed to handle a heavy workload against the Vikings, making him an excellent starting option in just about any weekly league. In Dillon's lone other opportunity in a leading role back in Week 16 of last season against the Titans while Jones was limited with a toe injury and No. 2 option Jamaal
Nov 14, 2021
Plays hero off the bench
Dillon ran for 66 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries and caught two passes for 62 yards on two targets against Seattle on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Aaron Jones left the game with a knee injury that will require monitoring, though the Packers initially stated they believe it to be an MCL injury of some sort. A significant MCL sprain could keep Jones out multiple weeks, and if so it would require Dillon to step into a three-down, workhorse role like he did against the Seahaws. The Vikings run defense is no pushover, but Dillon is a substantial talent and could prove imposing with a bigger workload. If Jones is able to bounce back quickly and suit up against Minnesota then Dillon would likely revert to more of a FLEX consideration in fantasy.
Nov 7, 2021
Busy off the bench
Dillon ran for 46 yards on eight carries and caught four passes for 44 yards on four targets against Kansas City on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Dillon was very effective with his usage, but as the game went on the Packers struggled to keep him consistently involved in the road loss. The Packers might want to get both Dillon and starter Aaron Jones more touches, especially if they're forced to start Jordan Love again when the Packers face the Seahawks in Green Bay. The first-time starter wasn't prepared to direct the Packers offense, and the Packers running back duo might be their best way to limit Love's exposure as a passer.
Oct 29, 2021
Expanded rushing opportunity in win
Dillon rushed 16 times for 78 yards in the Packers' 24-21 win over the Cardinals on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
The big-bodied running back paced the Packers in carries on a night when Aaron Jones essentially pulled double duty as a de facto wide receiver due to the team's shortages at the position. Dillon was efficient with his opportunities, and his carry total was a career-high figure. Dillon has shown well on the three occasions on which he's logged double-digit rush attempts this season, which could potentially lead to more consistent opportunity as the second half of the campaign unfolds.
Oct 25, 2021
Diminished role in Week 7
Dillon had three carries for six yards and one reception for two yards in Sunday's 24-10 victory over Washington.
ANALYSIS
Dillon was coming off a three-game stretch over which he averaged 13 touches and 78.3 yards from scrimmage per contest, but he played a reduced role in Week 6 and made only a minor mark in the box score. At the least, Dillon's limited workload should leave him fresh for the Packers' Week 7 matchup with the Cardinals on Thursday, but he will have a tough time getting back on track against an Arizona defense that has allowed opposing running backs to find the end zone just once -- and once only -- all season.
Oct 17, 2021
Effective as complementary option
Dillon rushed 11 times for 59 yards in the Packers' 24-14 win over the Bears on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Dillon was a highly effective thunder to Aaron Jones' lightning, averaging 5.4 yards per carry and ripping off a game-long 36-yard run. The big-bodied second-year back has eclipsed 50 rushing yards in two of his last three games, and although he was shut out of the air attack for the first time this season Sunday, Dillon continues to progressively augment his fantasy value in an offense in which lead back Aaron Jones' rushing touches are typically kept under 20.
Oct 3, 2021
Expanded role in Week 4 win
Dillon rushed 15 times for 81 yards and secured his only catch for 16 yards in the Packers' 27-17 win over the Steelers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
With the Packers comfortably ahead in the second half and Aaron Jones losing a fumble, Dillon got plenty of late-game work and made good use of it against a worn-out Steelers defense. The impressive power back hadn't seen more than six carries or gained more than 18 yards in any game prior to Sunday, however, as he remains a clear complementary option behind Jones under normal circumstances and therefore remains difficult to trust as a fantasy option on a week-to-week basis.
Oct 1, 2021
Clear to play Sunday
Dillon (back) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game versus the Steelers, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon and Aaron Jones (ankle) had their practice reps capped this week, but both backs will be available to Green Bay on Sunday. Through three games, Dillon has only had modest involvement in the Packers offense, topping out at a 30-percent offensive snap share and eight touches in a give week.
Sep 30, 2021
Dealing with back injury
Dillon was added to Thursday's practice report as limited due to a back injury, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Packers have capped Aaron Jones' reps this week as he tends to an ankle issue, and now the team's top two running backs have question marks hanging over their heads. There's been no indication either player is in danger of missing Sunday's game versus the Steelers, but the situation bears watching as the week goes on.
Sep 27, 2021
Role remains minimal
Dillon recorded six carries for 18 yards and two receptions for eight yards in Sunday's 30-28 victory over the 49ers.
ANALYSIS
Dillon received a season-high eight touches in Sunday's contest, but for the third time in as many games he put up only 26 yards from scrimmage. He's going to have a tough time getting on track in Week 4, as the Packers will face a Steelers defense that has been stingy on opposing running backs. However, Dillon is worth hanging onto in most formats, as he would presumably assume most or all of Aaron Jones' workload should Green Bay's starting running back be unavailable for any reason.
Sep 21, 2021
Plays complementary role Monday
Dillon had five carries for 18 yards and one reception for eight yards in Monday's 35-17 victory over the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Dillon got the ball on just under a third of the 19 plays he was in the game for, but it was the Aaron Jones show in the backfield Monday night, and Dillon played only a complementary role. Dillon has not yet come close to matching the snaps and touches former backup running back Jamaal Williams put up the past two seasons, but his opportunities could still increase at some point to help keep Jones fresh.
Sep 13, 2021
Five touches in opening loss
Dillon had four carries for 19 yards and one reception for seven yards in Sunday's 38-3 loss to the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Dillon's opportunities to produce in Week 1 were limited, as he spent only 16 snaps on the field with the rest of the offense. He did rack up five touches while he was out there, though, so head coach Matt LaFleur did make an effort to get him the ball. The game script certainly was not in the Packers' favor Sunday, as they trailed the entire way and even starting running back Aaron Jones played only 28 snaps. LaFleur said after the contest the Packers "didn't even attempt to run the ball enough," so look for the team to try to get more going on the ground against the Lions in Week 2.
Aug 28, 2021
Struggles in preseason finale
Dillon took seven carries for 18 yards in Saturday's 19-0 preseason loss to Buffalo.
ANALYSIS
Dillon got the start and the first carry, but he struggled to get anything going and couldn't punch the ball in for a TD on two chances inside the Buffalo five-yard line. With starters held out, Dillon and Kylin Hill got most of the backfield snaps with Jordan Love and the second-string offense. Dillon figures to get some carries Week 1 at New Orleans, but the exact nature of his role remains to be seen, as the 247-pounder offers a much different skill set than Aaron Jones' old backup Jamaal Williams (now with the Lions).
Aug 21, 2021
Looks good in limited touches
Dillon gained 28 rushing yards on four carries and caught both his targets for 12 yards in Saturday's preseason loss to the Jets.
ANALYSIS
With Aaron Jones among the regular-season starters held out by Green Bay on Saturday, Dillon got the start and powered his way to a couple big gains on the Packers' first series before he gave way to Kylin Hill. Dillon is set for a big increase in his workload in his second NFL season, but it would likely take an injury to Jones for him to make a consistent impact.
Aug 20, 2021
Resumes team drills
Dillon, who didn't participate in team drills during Wednesday's practice due to a calf issue, was able to do so Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
As previously implied by Schneidman Dillon's limitations on Wednesday were "mostly precautionary." With Jamaal Williams having joined the Lions via free agency during the offseason, Dillon is in line to serve as Aaron Jones' top backup this coming season.
Aug 18, 2021
Limited by calf injury
Dillon (calf) didn't do any team work during Wednesday's practice, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
While the report notes that Dillon is dealing with a calf injury, Schneidman describes the running back's Wednesday limitations as "mostly precautionary." When available, Dillon is in line to serve as Aaron Jones' top backup this season, with Jamaal Williams having headed to the Lions via free agency.
Aug 15, 2021
Brief cameo in preseason opener
Dillon gained one yard on one carry and caught his only target for four yards in Saturday's preseason loss to the Texans.
ANALYSIS
With Aaron Jones (hamstring) getting the night off, Dillon started in the Packers' backfield alongside Jordan Love (shoulder), but the second-year RB made a quick exit after a couple possessions. Dillon is locked into the No. 2 spot on the Green Bay depth chart, but if Jones has trouble staying healthy -- he's played all 16 games only once in four seasons -- his understudy has the talent to make an impact with significant touches.
Jun 30, 2021
Expecting big things in Year 2
Dillon is set to step into the backup job behind Aaron Jones this season, and Dillon believes he and Jones "can be the best running back tandem in the NFL," according to SI.com.
ANALYSIS
Dillon served as the Packers' third running back behind Jones and Jamaal Williams in his 2020 rookie season, but with Williams moving on to Detroit over the offseason, he is set to be the No. 2 back in Year 2. Dillon ran the ball just 46 times last season, but he averaged an impressive 5.3 YPC, and in the one game he received more than a handful of carries he put up 124 yards and two scores on 21 attempts. Dillon will need to produce on a consistent basis in order to put the Packers' backfield in the conversation for "best in the league," but he should get ample opportunities to do so, as he figures to assume the bulk of the 10.6 touches Williams averaged on a per-game basis after Matt LaFleur took over as head coach.
Feb 10, 2021
Efficient in limited role
Dillon had 46 carries for 242 yards and two touchdowns and two receptions for 21 yards over 11 appearances in his 2020 rookie season
ANALYSIS
Dillon played a bit role for most of the season and missed five games following a positive test for COVID-19. However, the 2020 second-rounder averaged a healthy 5.3 YPC over the course of the season, and he shined in his one extended opportunity, tallying 124 yards and two scores on the ground in the Packers' Week 16 victory over the Titans. It will be tough to determine Dillon's 2021 role without knowing if free agents Aaron Jones and/or Jamaal Williams will return to Green Bay, but if neither comes back, Dillon will presumably find himself atop the depth chart -- a spot that has been rather fantasy-friendly since Matt LaFleur arrived in town.

Ready for NFC championship
Dillon (quadricep) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
The quad injury limited Dillon's practice participation but won't impact his availability for the NFC Championship Game. He took six carries for 27 yards in a 32-18 win over Los Angeles last week, playing 12 percent of Green Bay's snaps on offense.

Limited at Thursday's practice
Dillon (quadricep) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Olivia Reiner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon was knocked out of the later stages of the Packers' divisional-round win against the Rams with a quad issue, which so far has resulted in a cap on his practice reps this week. Coach Matt LaFleur told Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette on Monday that he's "hopeful" Dillon will be able to suit up for Sunday's NFC Championship Game versus the Buccaneers. With two practices under his belt, Dillon is trending in the right direction, but Friday's injury report may give a sense of whether or not that's the case.
Jan 20, 2021
Limited to begin week
Dillon (quadriceps) was limited in practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Dillon was forced of last weekend's win over the Rams after handling just six carries (for 27 yards), so it's encouraging to see him already back on the practice field. If the rookie running back is able to prove his health in time for Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Buccaneers, he'll stand to rejoin Jamaal Williams as an option behind top back Aaron Jones in Green Bay's backfield.

Hopeful for NFC Championship Game
Coach LaFleur said Monday that he's "hopeful" Dillon (quadriceps) will be "ready to go" for Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Buccaneers, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
ANALYSIS
LaFleur said he's unsure whether Dillon will be on the field when the Packers next practice Wednesday, per Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The rookie running back only handled six carries for 27 yards during last weekend's divisional-round win over the Rams before behind forced out with a quad injury. Jamaal Williams will stand to handle slightly more reps behind top back Aaron Jones if Dillon isn't ready to face the Buccaneers.

Picks up quad injury
Dillon was forced out of Saturday's NFC divisional-round game against the Rams with a quad injury, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
With the game secured in the Packers favor, Dillon isn't expected to return. In turn, Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams will handle the rest of the backfield reps. Dillon finished the game with six rushes for 27 yards. The rookie out of Boston College will aim to recover for the NFC Championship Game next week.

Plays bit role in Week 17
Dillon played just five snaps on offense and finished Sunday's victory over the Bears with one carry for three yards.
ANALYSIS
Dillon ran for 124 yards and two scores in Week 16 with fellow running back Jamaal Williams sidelined, and it was thought that his breakout game could help him carve out a bigger role. However, with Williams back and the Packers leaning on Aaron Jones in Week 17, Dillon was an afterthought like he has been for most of the season. The Packers could get Dillon more involved in their first playoff game if the conditions are subpar, but he will be a clear third on the depth chart heading into that contest.
Dec 28, 2020
Explodes for two scores on SNF
Dillon rushed 21 times for 124 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 40-14 win over the Titans.
ANALYSIS
Dillon turned in the surprise performance of Week 16 (and possibly the season) when he more than doubled his total yardage for the year in one fell swoop. Jamaal Williams (quad) had to sit this one out, opening the door for the Packers' third-string back to burst onto the scene. The blowout nature of Sunday's contest allowed him to receive over 20 touches, but he was involved in the gameplan early and even scored his first touchdown in the first quarter when it was still a one-score game. Dillon was a second-round pick for the Packers in this year's rookie draft, so the team clearly believed in his talent enough to take the Boston College product that high even with a proven workhorse like Aaron Jones under contract. Dillon was averaging 4.8 yards per carry on 24 attempts prior to Sunday's coming out party, so there are flashes of high fantasy upside here. As for the rest of this season, Williams' health and a potentially closer score against the Bears should lead to tempered expectations in Week 17.
Dec 20, 2020
Breaks 18-yard run
Dillon had one carry for 18 yards in Saturday's victory over the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
It appeared Dillon would get a few carries after Jamaal Williams left the game with a quad injury, but with Green Bay's offense sputtering in the second half and the Panthers closing the gap on the scoreboard, the Packers instead leaned on Aaron Jones the rest of the way. Dillon would step into the backup role in Week 16 if Williams is unable to go, but in a game that will have major seeding implications, Jones would likely get the bulk of the work in that scenario.
Dec 15, 2020
No offensive snaps Week 14
Dillon didn't play an offensive snap during Sunday's 31-24 win over the Lions.
ANALYSIS
The rookie second-round pick was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday but played only a handful of snaps on special teams in his return. Dillon is unlikely to be much of a factor in the offense if Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams remain healthy down the stretch.
Dec 12, 2020
Set to return
Dillon (illness) was activated off the exempt/COVID-19 list Saturday.
ANALYSIS
The transaction means Dillon could potentially play this week against the Lions after a five-game absence due to COVID-19. The 2020 second-round pick has played sparingly this season and likely won't see a massive workload with both Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams healthy for the divisional matchup.
Dec 10, 2020
Comes off COVID-19 list
The Packers activated Dillon (illness) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Dillon missed four straight games due to his time on the COVID-19 list, but it looks as though he'll be available for Sunday's upcoming away game against the Lions. Given the amount of time Dillon has spent away from practice, though, the Packers could certainly opt to ease him back into action. In any case, Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams are in line to continue operating as the top options out of Green Bay's backfield.
Dec 9, 2020
Spotted at Wednesday's practice
Dillon (illness) participated in Wednesday's practice, indicating he could be activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list soon, John Doran of Fox 11 News reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon has been away from the Packers' facilities since testing positive for COVID-19 on Nov. 2. His presence at practice signals that he's tested negative for the illness twice within 24 hours and is no longer experiencing symptoms. The rookie second-rounder is eligible to be activated from the reserve list immediately. Dillon will first look to regain his conditioning after more than a month away from the practice field. Once he's ready, he'll slot in as the No. 3 running back behind Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams.
Nov 25, 2020
Remains in COVID-19 protocol
Coach Matt LaFleur said Wednesday that Dillon (illness) has returned to the Packers' facility but continues to work his way through the NFL's COVID-19 protocol, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon is more than three weeks removed from testing positive for the virus, missing three games as a result. There's no telling when he'll be cleared to resume regular activities, or when his conditioning will be enough to be considered for work out of the backfield. That said, LaFleur believes Dillon "can contribute a lot" once he does. Until then, Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams will continue to get the bulk of the RB reps for Green Bay.
Nov 2, 2020
Tests positive for COVID-19
Dillon was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday after testing positive for the virus, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Dillon won't be able to play Thursday against the 49ers. Aaron Jones (calf) may be available, but Jamaal Williams is the only running back that's currently healthy for Week 9. Dillon will have to clear the league's concussion protocol before returning to team activities.
Nov 1, 2020
Limited workload again
Dillon carried the ball five times for 21 yards and caught his only target for 16 yards in Sunday's 28-22 loss to the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
The 37 scrimmage yards were a career high for the rookie, but for the second straight game Dillon's touches were limited while working behind Jamaal Williams, even with Aaron Jones (calf) sidelined. If Jones is able to return to action in Week 9, Dillon's role could shrink even further.
Oct 25, 2020
Only five touches
Dillon carried the ball five times for 11 yards in Week 7 against the Texans.
ANALYSIS
Dillon was expected to get greater opportunity in the absence of Aaron Jones (calf). However, he was out-touched by Jamaal Williams 24-5 and managed just 11 total yards. Given that Jones' absence is expected to be brief, it's likely that Dillon missed the opportunity to command a bigger workload in the offense -- at least for the time being. He and the Packers will take on the Vikings in Week 8.
Oct 25, 2020
Increased workload likely Sunday
Dillon is slated to serve as the Packers' No. 2 running back behind Jamaal Williams with Aaron Jones (calf) sidelined Sunday in Houston, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
ANALYSIS
So far this season, Jones has averaged 18.6 touches per game, leaving a significant workload up for grabs. Williams himself boasts 9.2 touches per game and has the most experience among those available out of the backfield, so he's the better bet to lead the unit. Still, the Packers invested a second-round pick in April's draft in Dillon, and he's responded with 13 carries for 65 yards through five contests. Look for Dillon at least to spell Williams and perhaps be featured on a handful of possessions Sunday, with practice squad callup Dexter Williams on hand to pick up the scraps.
Oct 23, 2020
Could handle expanded role
Coach Matt LaFleur said he's confident Dillon can step up if Aaron Jones (calf) isn't able to play in Sunday's game against Houston, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Jamaal Williams has seen far more work than Dillon this year, but it is possible the Packers could lean on the rookie as their lead ballcarrier, with Williams then handling more of the receiving work. Of course, we still need to see how things play out with Jones, who appears to be headed for a game-time decision ahead of Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. Williams would be the safer fantasy play in the event of a Jones absence, but Dillon would also offer some upside.
Oct 18, 2020
Averages 6.2 yards per carry
Dillon carried five times for 31 yards in Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Buccaneers.
ANALYSIS
Dillon averaged an impressive 6.2 yards per carry as Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams both struggled, with the majority of his production coming on a 20-yard rumble in the fourth quarter. The rookie's impressive cameo nearly doubled his season rushing output and could earn him another look as a change-of-pace option in the coming weeks. Dillon will look to build off the best effort of his young career next Sunday against the Texans.
Oct 6, 2020
Continues playing bit role
Dillon had one carry for three yards in Monday's victory over the Falcons.
ANALYSIS
Dillon got a chance to run the ball after not taking even one carry in Week 3, but his role remained minimal, as he was on the field for just three plays on offense. It's possible the Packers could get him more involved coming out of their Week 5 bye, but with fellow backs Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams both getting the job done there just aren't many snaps up for grabs.
Sep 28, 2020
No action in Week 3
Dillon did not take the field for an offensive snap in Sunday's victory over the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Dillon had five carries late in a Week 2 blowout after recording two totes in his first game as a pro, but he did not get even one chance to run the ball Sunday with the Packers relying solely on their three veteran backs. Dillon still has some long-term intrigue, but as things stand he's merely extra depth in the Packers' backfield.
Sep 21, 2020
Gets five carries late
Dillon had five carries for 17 yards in Sunday's victory over the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Dillon did not take a snap on offense until late in Sunday's game, but the Packers gave him a chance to stretch his legs on their final couple drives and he ended up with three more carries than he totaled in Week 1. Dillon is a distant fourth among Packers running backs in snaps played through two weeks, but he has made the most of his opportunities, averaging a respectable 4.4 YPC on his first seven rushing attempts as a pro.
Sep 14, 2020
Two totes in pro debut
Dillon had two carries for 14 yards in Sunday's victory over the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
Dillon played only a bit role in Week 1, finishing fourth among Packers running backs with five carries. However, he showed well on his limited opportunities, racking up six and eight yards on his two rushes. Dillon finds himself in a crowded backfield in Green Bay, but he was taken in the second round of April's draft after all, so look for the team to try and get him more involved as the season wears on.
Sep 8, 2020
Listed co-third on depth chart
Dillon is listed third, along with Tyler Ervin, on the unofficial depth chart released by the Packers on Monday night.
ANALYSIS
Dillon was drafted in the second round of April's draft, but it comes as little surprise that he does not occupy a prominent spot on the depth chart heading into Week 1, as both Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams remain on the Packers' roster. Dillon is not likely to be much of a factor in the offense early on, but he is the most powerful of the team's four running backs, so he could be used in short-yardage situations. His role could certainly expand during the season, as he will get more familiar in his surroundings and -- at just shy of 250 pounds -- will not be much fun to try and bring down when winter weather rolls around.
