The door is thus open for Dulin to see more reps at receiver, though the 28-year-old may serve as a more of a sacrificial downfield threat rather than someone who will command meaningful target volume. Over 74 career games in six seasons, Dulin has turned in a meager 36-528-4 receiving line on 61 targets.

Dulin is set to see an increased workload Sunday at Jacksonville with both Michael Pittman Jr. (quad) and Michael Pierce (concussion) set to miss the game, the Indianapolis Star Tribune reports.

Dulin is likely to start opposite Parris Campbell in two-receiver sets and could even become the primary target in the passing game after earning six targets in last week's tie at Houston. Michael Strachan will likely work in three-receiver sets with Nyheim Hines, Kylen Granson and Mo Alie-Cox also potentially getting significantly more targets.

Dulin had three receptions for 46 yards on six targets in Sunday's tie at Houston.

Alec Pierce started in a three-receiver set with Dulin on the bench to begin the game as the fourth receiver, but Dulin had more targets (Pierce with two) and nearly as many snaps (32 to 47). It was Pierce's first game as a rookie and he should improve even after a big drop in the end zone, so Dulin will likely stay the No. 4 receiver. However, it's worth tracking Dulin in case Pierce fails to hold on to the starting role or oft-injured Parris Campbell goes down again. Dulin's role in the passing game continues to trend upward after a enticing 2021 season.

Coach Frank Reich expects Dulin to play a significant role on offense in 2022, Kevin Bowen of 1075thefan.com reports.

"We are all planning on him making a significant contribution, not only on special teams, but on offense, too," Reich said of Dulin. With no established No. 2 wide receiver on the team behind Michael Pittman, Dulin will compete with Parris Campbell and Alec Pierce for targets from new Colts quarterback Matt Ryan.

Dulin signed a one-year, $2.4 million contract with the Colts on Tuesday.

Previously a restricted free agent, Dulin was presumably unable to field an offer better than the $2.4 million tender from the Colts, so he'll return to Indianapolis for a fourth straight season. Last year, the third-year wideout caught 13 of 22 targets for 173 yards and two touchdowns while rushing three times for 32 yards -- all career highs. He was also a key contributor on special teams (279 snaps) and racked up 206 kick-return yards. With T.Y. Hilton's status for the 2022 campaign still up in the air and the NFL Draft around the corner, it's unclear what Indianapolis' wide receiver depth chart will look like heading into training camp.

Dulin, a restricted free agent, had a right of first refusal tender placed on him by the Colts on Wednesday, the Indianapolis Star reports.

Indianapolis will now be able to match any contract offer from another team, should Dulin receive any. Otherwise the 24-year-old is set to earn $2.4 million with the Colts in 2022 under the tender. He caught 13 passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns last season while also playing a significant role on special teams.

Dulin's production was minimal throughout the season, but he was still involved quite a bit, playing 20-plus snaps nine times. It was by far his most productive season of his three-year career but still not enough to warrant fantasy consideration. He's set to be a free agent this offseason, and it remains to be seen if there will be mutual interest in a return.

Dulin did not have a reception on one target in Sunday's loss to Las Vegas.

Dulin had three receptions and two touchdowns in his previous three games. However, with Zach Pascal back from the COVID-19 list and the receiving corps healthy, Dulin wasn't as much a factor despite playing on 27 of the offense's 58 snaps. He'll likely have a similar role next week against Jacksonville.

Dulin caught one of two targets for 23 yards during Saturday's 22-16 win over the Cardinals.

Dulin continues to have limited involvement in the Colts' offense, but he has shown flashes of big-play potential. Michael Pittman and T.Y. Hilton are expected to dominate the majority of the attention in the passing game, so any fantasy production that Dulin is able to generate is expected to be sporadic and unreliable. The Colts have an advantageous matchup against the Raiders in Week 17, but Dulin will likely be a risky fantasy option.

Dulin carried the ball twice for 39 yards in Saturday's 27-17 win over the Patriots.

While he wasn't involved as a pass-catcher, no Colt did much through the air on a night in which Carson Wentz managed only 57 passing yards. Instead, Dulin helped set up the team's first TD with a 37-yard gain on a jet sweep to begin Indy's second possession. The third-year speedster still hasn't seen more than two touches in a game this season, but he's finding a way to make an impact after catching TD passes in each of the last two games.

Dulin caught his only target for two yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 31-0 win over the Texans.

Over the past two weeks, Dulin has caught both of his targets for his first two touchdowns of his NFL career. The third-year wideout's lack of targets relative to his touchdowns is likely a red-flag that his production over the last two weeks is an outlier. But regardless, fantasy managers should continue to monitor Dulin's status, as T.Y. Hilton has failed to solidify himself as the clear cut No. 2 receiver behind Michael Pittman.

Dulin hauled in his lone target for 62 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-31 loss to the Buccaneers.

Dulin's target share remained low in Sunday's loss, but he logged the first touchdown of his career with his 62-yard reception in the second quarter. It was encouraging to see him record the longest play of the game Sunday, but he's had limited looks in the Colts' offense this year. Across the last four games, he's secured all four of his targets for 101 yards and a touchdown.

Dulin had one reception for 16 yards on one target in Sunday's win over Jacksonville.

Dulin played just seven snaps on offense as he's moved back to the fourth receiver with a limited role on offense with T.Y. Hilton back from a concussion. He remains a key factor on special teams as the primary kick returner.

Dulin played on 35 of the offense's 80 snaps as he got more playing time after T.Y. Hilton left with a concussion. With both T.Y. Hilton and Parris Campbell (foot) out, Dulin could work as the third receiver Thursday against the Jets.

Dulin had two receptions for no yards on four targets in Sunday's win at San Francisco.

Dulin didn't do much with his four targets, but much of that was due to the rainy and windy conditions. The larger takeaway is that Dulin played on 43 of the offense's 68 snaps and moved into the third receiver role with both T.Y. Hilton and Parris Campbell out. Dulin could put up larger numbers next week against Tennessee in better conditions if Hilton and Campbell remain sidelined.

Dulin had one reception for seven yards on his only target in Sunday's win over Houston. He also had two kick returns for a 29 yard average.

Dulin played 13 snaps on offense and he's now played ten or more snaps on offense in three consecutive games. While his role is mostly on special teams, he could see an increase in snaps on offense with Parris Campbell out indefinitely with a foot injury.

Dulin had two receptions for 15 yards on two targets in Monday's loss at Baltimore.

Dulin played 23 snaps on offense and tied his season-high in targets. While it wasn't a significant workload, he worked as the fourth receiver ahead of Mike Strachan (who had two snaps). Dulin's primary value is on specials teams, however, where he had two kick returns for an average of 23 yards.

Dulin had one reception for 10 yards and recovered a botched punt attempt for a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Rams.

Dulin played 25 snaps on offense as he saw an increased role with Parris Campbell sidelined with an abdominal injury. He worked as the fourth wider receiver with Michael Strachan playing 33 snaps on offense. Dulin's primary value is on specials teams as he showed when he recovered a punt attempt that had a bad snap near the opponent's end zone.

Dulin did not have a target or carry in Sunday's loss to Seattle. He played six snaps on offense.

Dulin played 18 snaps on special teams, where he'll have his largest role. Dulin is mostly on the roster for his prowess on special teams and may not be much of a factor as a receiver unless there are several injuries.

The Colts have officially activated off injured reserve ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Titans, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Dulin spent the minimum three-week requirement on IR before being designated to return earlier in the week. Practice seemingly went well and he will now be available versus Tennessee. However, he is not expected to make much of an impact on offense due to a plethora of receivers ahead of him on the depth chart.

With Michael Pittman and Parris Campbell placed on IR, there was a chance that Dulin could emerge as the third receiver. However, Marcus Johnson played on 34 snaps and essentially overtook Fountain and Ashton Dulin as the No. 3 receiver even though he was just recently added to the active roster. Johnson had just one target, however, as it looks like the Colts will utilize tight ends in the passing game more than third and fourth receivers.

Dulin did not have a reception on one target in Sunday's win over the Jets. He played on 12 of the offense's 59 snaps.

With Michael Pittman out after leg surgery and Parris Campbell set to undergo knee surgery, Dulin could get significant playing time as either the No. 3 or No. 4 wide receiver. It's not clear who will emerge as the No. 3 receiver among Daurice Fountain, Dulin and rookie Dezmon Patmon. It's also possible the Colts could utilize more two-TE sets with Mo Alie-Cox becoming a major factor in the passing game.

Dulin played all of his 14 snaps on special teams. He'll have a limited reserve role on offense, but could take over kickoff return duties with primary returner Nyheim Hines taking on a larger role on offense with Marlon Mack's season-ending Achilies injury.

Dulin made Indianapolis' final 53-man roster due to role on special teams, where he's the gunner on punts, The Athletic reports.

While Dulin is a special teams star, he will have a limited depth role as a wide receiver. He likely won't get but a few snaps unless there's an injury to the top four wideouts (T.Y. Hilton, Parris Campbell, Zach Pascal, Michael Pittman Jr.).

Dulin (neck) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
