Aubrey showed he was ready for the regular season with another jaw-dropping kick, as he drilled a 64-yard FG right at the end of the first half. Heading into his third NFL season, the Notre Dame product remains the league's preeminent kicker from long distance after converting 14 of 17 attempts from 50 yards or longer in 2024. If Dak Prescott can stay healthy and lead the Cowboys' offense to a better overall performance this year, it might turn some of those desperation FGs into PATs, but Aubrey figures to be extremely productive regardless -- after leading the league with 157 points as a rookie in 2023, he finished second behind Pittsburgh's Chris Boswell last year with 150.

Aubrey (shoulder) kicked field goals during Thursday's practice, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Aubrey underwent surgery on his shoulder during the offseason, but the third-year kicker has recovered from the procedure and will be a full participant in training camp. Aubrey is coming off a 2024 campaign in which he went 40-for-47 on field-goal attempts (including 14-for-17 from 50-plus yards) and made all 30 of his extra-point tries across 17 regular-season games.

Aubrey knocked down his lone extra-point attempt and connected on a 53-yard field goal while missing a 40-yard try in Monday's 34-10 loss to the Texans.

While Aubrey came away with his 10th field goal of 50-plus yards of the season in the loss, he nearly came away with the third 60-plus-yard field goal of his career late in the third quarter. On 4th-and-20, Aubrey converted a 64-yard attempt right down the middle with plenty of room to spare, but a Texans unnecessary roughness penalty took the points off the board while Dallas instead accepted an automatic first down. The wiped-out field goal along with a missed attempt in the second quarter that clanked off the right upright thus limited Aubrey to a season-low four points on the night.

Aubrey connected on both his field-goal attempts in Sunday's 34-6 loss to the Eagles.

It was a brutal day for the Dallas offense without Dak Prescott (hamstring) under center, and Aubrey produced the team's only points with a couple of first-half FGs, the longest of which went for 46 yards. Prescott could be headed for season-ending surgery, so Aubrey's ceiling suddenly looks a lot lower ahead of a Week 11 tilt against the Texans, and potentially for the rest of 2024.

Aubrey converted both his field-goal attempts and his only extra-point try in Sunday's loss to the Falcons.

He drilled a 34-yard field goal in the first quarter and a 57-yarder right at the end of the third, and Aubrey hasn't missed a kick since Week 5 in Pittsburgh. The second-year kicker has seen fewer PATs and more FGs this season due to the struggles of the Cowboys' offense, and that doesn't seem likely to change with both Dak Prescott (hamstring) and CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) banged up heading into a Week 10 clash with the Eagles.

Aubrey knocked down his lone field-goal attempt from 29 yards and went 3-for-3 on extra-point tries in Sunday's 30-24 loss to the 49ers.

Aubrey didn't practice in any capacity in Week 8 while he was away from the team on jury duty, but he made the flight to San Francisco and was as sharp as ever in the few scoring opportunities that were presented to him. Through seven appearances on the season, Aubrey has knocked down all 12 of his extra-point attempts and 18 of 20 field-goal tries, including an 8-for-9 mark from 50-plus yards.

Aubrey (personal) is traveling with the Cowboys to San Francisco ahead of Sunday's Week 8 contest versus the 49ers, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

Aubrey served jury duty this week, preventing him from practicing in any capacity. However, he's with the Cowboys on the team's flight to San Francisco on Saturday, eliminating any doubt about the talented kicker being able to suit up Sunday. Aubrey has been excellent again for Dallas this season, converting 17 of 19 field-goal attempts, including eight of nine from 50-plus yards.

Aubrey won't practice Thursday for the second straight day while on jury duty, but head coach Mike McCarthy said that the Cowboys "have a plan to make sure he's ready to go" for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

Though the organization was willing to pursue an exemption that would allow Aubrey to bypass jury duty, the 29-year-old was reportedly insistent on fulfilling his civic responsibility after he was selected to be part of a 12-person jury for a felony assault case in Tarrant County, Texas. Per Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the Cowboys have an expectation that the judge overseeing the assault case will be willing to accommodate the kicker's schedule, which will allow him to potentially practice Friday and play Sunday even if the case isn't resolved by then. Aubrey has been one of the top fantasy kickers this season, converting all nine of his extra-point tries and 17 of 19 field-goal attempts, which includes an 8-for-9 mark from 50-plus yards.

The second-year kicker was good from 34, 47 and 50 yards, but the Dallas offense otherwise struggled. Aubrey heads into the Cowboys' bye tied with the Commanders' Austin Seibert for the league lead in total points at 60, and tied with the Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn for the most FG makes from 50 yards or more at eight.

He's still a perfect 9-for-9 on PATs, and no kicker in the league has more FG attempts through five weeks. Aubrey figures to be busy again in Week 6 against the Lions.

Aubrey converted two of three field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in Thursday night's 20-15 win over the Giants.

The kickers did most of the scoring damage in the NFC East affair, as Greg Joseph recorded all 15 points on five field-goal kicks for the G-Men. Aubrey's miss from 51 yards out with 31 seconds left in the game was his first miss of the season and first career miss from 50-plus yards out. He'd previously made 16 straight from that range.

The Cowboys had trouble finishing off drives Sunday, giving Aubrey plenty of chances to show off his big leg -- his longest FG went for 52 yards in the first quarter. His 28 points through two games leads all kickers, following up a rookie season in 2023 that saw him lead the NFL with 157 points. Aubrey could be busy again in Week 3 against a Ravens team that's allowed six FG attempts through two weeks.

It's the kick that didn't count that stands out, however -- right before halftime, Aubrey coolly drilled a 66-yarder that would have tied Justin Tucker's record for the longest field goal in NFL history, only to have it wiped out by a delay of game penalty. It's a testament to his leg strength that coach Mike McCarthy actually seemed to consider letting Aubrey give it a go from 71 yards out, before electing to send out the offense for a hail mary instead. Aubrey led the league last season with 157 points, and given the way the Dallas offense dismantled a strong Cleveland defense in Week 1, he figures to be right back near the top of the leaderboard again in 2024.

Had it been the regular season, that kick from the Cowboys' side of midfield would have tied for the longest field goal in NFL history, matching the record set by Justin Tucker in 2021. While the road struggles of the Cowboys' offense didn't provide Aubrey with much volume, the rookie kicker once again had a perfect afternoon. He's converted an NFL record 31 straight FG attempts to begin his career and is 40-for-43 on extra points, but Sunday's game was the first since Week 5 in which he didn't kick multiple PATs. Aubrey could be a lot busier in a potential Week 16 barn burner against the Dolphins.

That makes him a better floor option than ceiling play heading into a Week 11 clash with the Panthers.

The rookie kicker converted from 26, 27 and 49 yards out, and Aubrey is a perfect 10-for-10 on FG attempts to begin his NFL career. If the Cowboys continue to struggle in the red zone behind a banged-up offensive line -- they scored only one TD on five trips to the red zone Sunday -- Aubrey should keep producing at an elite level.

Aubrey connected on all five of his field-goal attempts and his only extra point in Sunday's 30-10 win over the Jets.

The rookie kicker coolly drilled a 55-yard FG in the third quarter, with his other four field goals coming from 35 yards or less. After missing his very first NFL attempt in Week 1 on a PAT, Aubrey has been perfect since, and the Cowboys have supplied him with plenty of opportunities while outscoring the opposition 70-10 through two games. His fantasy value is rising quickly, and Aubrey could be busy again in Week 3 against the winless Cardinals.

Making his NFL debut on a rainy night at MetLife Stadium, Aubrey shanked his first career PAT in the first quarter, but he shook it off and was perfect the rest of the game, drilling FGs of 21 and 38 yards along the way. He also got plenty of practice with kickoffs in the rout and put them all through the end zone, giving the Giants no opportunities for a big kick return that might have given them some momentum. Aubrey should have plenty of confidence after this performance, and his fantasy value is on the upswing heading into a Week 2 clash with Aaron Rodgers and the Jets.

Aubrey connected on his only field-goal attempt and converted two of three extra-point attempts in Saturday's preseason loss to the Jaguars.

The former USFL player is the only kicker currently in camp for the Cowboys, but Aubrey didn't build up any job security with his missed PAT in his first preseason action with the team. It still remains likely that Dallas will bring in competition for the 28-year-old before Week 1.

Aubrey went 7-for-9 on field-goal attempts Monday in his first practice since the Cowboys waived Tristan Vizcaino, Saad Yousef of The Athletic reports.

"We're comfortable [at kicker]," owner/GM Jerry Jones said after the practice. "We're excited about what we've seen. We're excited about how he got here. He's having a real solid camp. We're very comfortable going into the season with him." Despite Jones' endorsement, Aubrey's performance so far in training camp hasn't been so good that the team is closing the door on adding competition for the rookie. "The option of a veteran kicker, that's still a possibility," coach Mike McCarthy said. Aubrey could wind up being a productive fantasy asset riding shotgun for a potent Dallas offense if he does begin the season with the kicking job, but until the former USFL player proves himself in the NFL, he'll be a risky option.

A former high school and college soccer star who played at Notre Dame, Aubrey was actually drafted into the MLS back in 2017. He was selected by Birmingham of the USFL in 2022 and was named an All-USFL kicker that year. In 2023, Aubrey made 14-of-15 field goals and all 35 of his extra points. In Dallas, Aubrey will compete with Tristan Vizcaino in a wide-open kicker battle this summer.
