McManus avoided the Packers' Week 11 injury report entirely for the first time since before the team's Week 5 bye until he was added to it Saturday as doubtful due to a lingering right quadriceps issue. According to Jason Wilde of Channel3000.com, McManus kicked during Friday's practice and then reported tightness in the quad when he showed up at Green Bay's facility Saturday, prompting the aforementioned move. Now that McManus is confirmed to be unavailable Sunday, he'll yield his duties to Lucas Havrisik, and now there's the question of if the former will miss time beyond this weekend.

The Packers added McManus to their Week 11 injury report Saturday, listing him as doubtful for Sunday's game at the Giants due to a right quadriceps issue.

Special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia announced Friday that McManus (right quadriceps) will serve as the Packers' placekicker Monday against the Eagles, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. "He's getting healthier, and he's had a pretty good week kicking the ball," Bisaccia said.

McManus logged a full practice Thursday for the first time since he tweaked his right quad during Week 6 prep, which initially led to back-to-back absences. He then was able to kick Weeks 8 and 9, but the results (4-for-7 FGAs, 4-for-4 PATs) were mixed during those contests. Even before suffering the injury, McManus was 7-for-9 on field-goal attempts and 11-for-12 on extra points, so his reliability still is in question. Having said that, he'll get the nod over Lucas Havrisik for a third straight game Monday.

Though LaFleur acknowledged that McManus is still not 100 percent healthy, the Packers have been comfortable from what they've seen from the veteran kicker in practices over the past two weeks to make him available on game days. Provided he comes through with another solid week of practice, McManus looks like he'll be handling kicking duties for a third straight game Monday.

This marks McManus' first official on-field work since Week 6 prep, when he initially tweaked his right quad, but it remains to be seen if he'll be able to put an end to a two-game absence Sunday in Pittsburgh. Lucas Havrisik is on hand for placekicking duties in the event McManus requires more time to recover.

McManus thus has been a DNP on four consecutive injury reports due to the right quad that he tweaked in practice on Wednesday, Oct. 8. Considering how well fill-in kicker Lucas Havrisik has fared in place of McManus -- 4-for-4 on FGAs, 6-for-6 on PATs -- the Packers have the luxury of patience as it pertains to McManus' recovery.

McManus made a game-tying 53-yard field goal as time expired in regulation before connecting on a 34-yard try to even the score at 40-40 at the conclusion of overtime. The kicker's only miss of the day came in the second quarter, when he had an extra-point attempt blocked, which was ultimately returned for two points on the other end for Dallas. McManus has now gone 7-for-9 on field-goal tries, including 2-for-2 on attempts from 50-plus yards, while making 11 of 12 PATs over four games this season.

McManus went one of two on field-goal tries and made his only extra-point attempt in Sunday's 13-10 loss to the Browns.

The kicker had a 43-yard attempt blocked late in the fourth that would have given Green Bay a 13-10 lead. McManus is now five of seven on field-goal tries and seven of seven on extra points in 2025. Though he's missed two early kicks, McManus' job should be safe heading into Week 4, as Sunday's block came when a defender flew around the left side and into the backfield.

McManus missed a 48-yard attempt off the upright to end the first half but bounced back with a successful 22-yard field goal in the third quarter and an impressive 56-yarder in the fourth, which essentially sealed the win by making it a three-score game. The Packers gave McManus only a couple chances to score, but he converted both opportunities. Although fellow kicker Mark McNamee is also on Green Bay's training camp roster, McManus shined last season and signed a three-year extension with the Packers in March, so he is locked in as the team's placekicker.

McManus and the Packers agreed to terms Tuesday on a three-year, $15.3 million contract extension, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

McManus joined Green Bay mid-season in 2024, ultimately converting 30 of 21 field-goal attempts and all 30 extra-point tries across 11 regular-season appearances with the team. He also converted one of two field-goal tries and his only PAT during the Packers' wild-card round loss to Philadelphia. McManus' tenure as the starter on a high-scoring offense will keep him in the mix as a relevant fantasy option at the kicker position for the 2025 campaign.

McManus made field goals of 37 and 30 yards in the first half, and his 55-yard field goal with under a minute to go in the contest would have proved pivotal had the Bears not hit a field goal of their own at the final buzzer. McManus ends the regular season having made all 30 extra-point tries and all but one of his 21 field-goal attempts over his 11 appearances since joining the Packers in mid-October.

Sunday's rainy conditions at Lambeau Field certainly were not ideal for kicking, but nonetheless, McManus misfired from 46 yards out in the second quarter -- his first miss in three games with the Packers. Green Bay will be on bye in Week 10, so those who have added him to their fantasy rosters will need to look for another option. There is reason to replace him altogether, but it should be noted that since McManus made his season debut in Week 7, only five more kickers -- pending the results of the Monday night game -- have attempted more field goals.

The veteran then landed with the Commanders in the offseason, but was subsequently let go one week after reports he was the subject of a civil lawsuit. The 33-year-old will now look to improve Green Bay's kicking game, which has struggled to find a replacement for Mason Crosby since he left town following the 2022 season.

McManus was released by the Commanders on Sunday.

McManus signed a one-year deal to join Washington in March, but he'll now be looking for a new opportunity elsewhere. The Commanders don't currently have another kicker on their roster, which will likely change Monday.

McManus agreed to terms on a one-year, $3.6 million contract with the Broncos on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

McManus' deal presumably indicates Joey Slye will not be brought back by Washington. The 32-year-old spent his first nine seasons in Denver before converting 30-of-37 field goals and all 35 extra-points for the Jaguars in 2023. It remains to be seen if the Commanders will bring in any competition for the veteran kicker.

McManus made both field-goal attempts and both PATs against the Titans in Week 18. He played in all 17 games and went 30-for-37 on field goals and 35-for-35 on PATs.

The 32-year-old tied a career high with 125 points, and it was the first time since 2018 he didn't miss an extra point. Five of McManus' misses came from beyond 50 yards with the other two being from 40-to-49 yards, so he should be able to secure a contract for 2024 after kicking for the Jags on a one-year deal.

Though McManus' conversion percentage isn't extraordinary, that's in part due to his high volume of long-distance kicks (13 tries from 50-plus yards last season). The 31-year-old has spent his entire career in Denver, playing 144 of a possible 146 regular-season games over nine years. McManus was scheduled for non-guaranteed base salaries of $3.65 million in 2023 and $3.85 million in 2024, so this is likely about finances / cap space more so than performance. While his career FG percentage (81.4) is subpar by modern standards, McManus has attempted a ton of long-distance kicks due to his strong leg and the altitude in Denver, with tries of 50-plus yards accounting for 26.3 percent of his career volume (and 62.7 percent of his misses). It's unclear who will replace him in Denver.

The 30-year-old could have had a much bigger year if the Denver offense didn't struggle to move the ball as much as it did in 2021, so improvements on that side of the ball could go a long way in providing a boost to McManus' scoring opportunities. The veteran is under contract until he becomes an unrestricted free agent in 2025, so barring injury, he'll be a kicking for the Broncos in 2022.

McManus (COVID-19 protocols) has been medically cleared to play in Saturday's game against Kansas City.

Thus, if McManus isn't available, the team may eschew field-goal and extra-point attempts entirely when those situations arise Week 18.

McManus was handed a big contract early in the season and delivered mixed results. One one hand, he led the league with 10 field goals of 50 or more yards.  On the other, his field-goal conversion rate was just above his career average and he missed as many point-after attempts in 2020 as he had in his entire career heading into the season. Six of McManus's nine total misses on the year came in the final three games of the season, including two near-impossibly long misses in Week 17 versus Oakland, so his issues are likely not overarching. He remains one of the league's biggest legs.

McManus converted field goals of of 22, 26, and 37 yards during Sunday's loss to Las Vegas while also making both of his point-after attempts. He missed a field-goal attempt of 56 yards and had attempts of 63 and 70 yards blocked.

The Broncos really tested McManus' leg Sunday, his attempts from 70 and 63 yards coming at the end of both halves, respectively. Though he ended the season on a bit of a cold streak, going seven-for-12 on field-goal attempts during the final quarter of the year, he still managed to finish ninth in the league with 28 total field goals and first in the league with 10 field goals of 50 or more yards.

McManus converted an extra point and field goals of 30, 50 and 52 yards during Sunday's 19-16 loss at the Chargers.

McManus' leg from 50-plus yards kept the Broncos in the game Sunday, but it was his uncharacteristic miss earlier that contributed to the Broncos' loss. McManus shanked a 42-yard attempt early in the second quarter and, after the play was called back for a defensive off-sides, McManus hit the upright on the 37-yard retry. It was McManus' first miss from inside 40 yards since Week 5 of the 2017 season. He'll look to start a new streak Sunday against Las Vegas, against whom McManus converted an extra point and field goals of 50 and 33 yards in Week 10.

McManus will be activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday and will rejoin the Broncos for practice, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

McManus was placed on the list Dec. 14 after being deemed a close contact of an individual infected by COVID-19. Though he continued to test negative for the virus in the days that followed, the timing of McManus' placement on the list left him unavailable for Saturday's 48-19 loss to the Bills. Now that he's been reinstated to the roster, McManus will settle back in as the Broncos' kicker in place of Taylor Russolino, who moved back to the practice squad following the Week 15 loss.

McManus, who's on the reserve/COVID-19 list as a close contact, won't kick Saturday against the Bills, Ryan O'Halloran of The Denver Post reports.

Per Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com Taylor Russolino has been promoted to the Broncos' active roster to fill in for McManus on Saturday.

The Broncos are expected to be without McManus (undisclosed) Saturday against the Bills, James Palmer of NFL Network reports.

McManus landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list as a close contact, with Palmer noting that if Denver's game was Sunday he'd be able to play. Instead, the Broncos are hosting the Bills on Saturday, with Taylor Russolino expected to handle the team's Week 15 kicking duties.

McManus is isolating at the team hotel after coming into close contact with a non-team affiliated COVID-infected individual, but the kicker continues to test negative for the virus, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

McManus previously stated that he intends to suit up Saturday against the Bills, and his negative tests may give him a chance to do so, though the kicker will need to be officially removed from the reserve/COVID-19 list before he can hope to play. Taylor Russolino is in line to take over Denver's kicking duties should McManus fail to earn clearance before game day.

McManus will be heading to the reserve-COVID list, per his personal Twitter account.

McManus adds that his close-contact with a COVID-infected individual took place outside of Broncos headquarters and that it is his intention to still suit up against the Bills on Saturday. McManus's confidence aside, the news does place his availability in jeopardy given the short week. If he's able to play, he'll be coming off one of the roughest outings of his career in which he missed two of four point-after attempts.

McManus made one of two field-goal attempts and his lone PAT during Sunday's 22-16 loss to Kansas City.

The 29-year-old converted from 53 yards during the first quarter, but he missed wide left on a 57-yard field goal shortly before halftime. It's his first missed field goal since Week 2, which was also a 50-plus yard attempt. McManus is 22-for-24 on field-goal attempts and 19-for-20 on PATs through 12 games this season.

McManus (personal) returned to practice as expected Friday, Troy Renck of ABC Denver7 reports.

McManus missed Thursday's practice with an excused personal absence but was back in the fold Friday. He should be all systems go for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

As Kils points out, McManus is expected to rejoin the Friday ahead of it's game Sunday against the Chiefs, so the kicker isn't in jeopardy of missing action. McManus connected on a career-long 58-yard field goal in last Sunday's loss to New Orleans, and with Drew Lock officially activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list, he could have more opportunities to score points in Week 13.

McManus converted his lone field-goal attempt, a 58-yarder, during Sunday's 31-3 loss to New Orleans.

The Broncos took a five-yard loss on third down midway through the third quarter on Sunday, pushing a tough field-goal try back even further. McManus nailed it with room to spare, breaking his previous career long of 57 yards set back in 2015 and keeping alive Denver's streak of never being shut out at home. Sunday was obviously a unique situation with an undrafted rookie wide receiver forced to play quarterback. Expect a few more opportunities for McManus Sunday night with Drew Lock back in the fold. In Week 7 against Kansas City, McManus converted a 43-yard field goal and one of two point-after attempts, just his second point-after miss since Week 3 of the 2016 season.

McManus made both of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 20-13 win over the Dolphins.

McManus' pair of field goals both came in the second quarter, from 29 and 47 yards. The veteran has been tremendously consistent this season, and now sports 78 points through 10 games.

McManus made both of his field-goal tries but did not attempt an extra point in Sunday's 37-12 loss to the Raiders.

McManus converted from 50 and 33 yards on his respective kicks, improving his already-awesome record so far this season. Through nine games, the veteran has missed merely two of 36 total attempts, netting 70 points in the process.

McManus was faced with snowy conditions, somewhat excusing his missed PAT, which was also his first this season. Through six games, McManus now sports 48 points.

Kudos to you if you started McManus Sunday as the Temple product set a franchise record with six field goals while serving as the entirety of the Broncos' scoring offense. He's converted 11 consecutive field goals including five from 50 yards or further. He's tied for the league lead with nine conversions from 40 yards out out.

McManus converted field goals for 40, 54, and 53 yards during Thursday's 37-28 win over the Jets. He added four point-after conversions.

First-time starter Brett Rypien didn't do McManus many favors in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter. With the Broncos down by one, Rypien took a 10-yard grounding penalty on third down, forcing McManus to try from 53-yards out. He nailed it for his second field goal of 50 or more yards of the quarter. The Temple product is on pace to tie his career-best field-goal percentage for a season (85.7% in 2015) and shatter his career mark for conversion of 40 yards or more (14 in 2018).

McManus converted an extra-point and a 56-yard field goal during Sunday's 28-10 loss to Tampa Bay.

McManus' 56-yarder was his longest field goal since Week 1 of the 2015 season. McManus has held value in recent seasons as he's on a team that has had enough offense to get into field-goal range, but not enough to get into the end zone. History is repeating itself as, with Drew Lock (shoulder) out for at least another game or two, the Broncos have a more question marks on offense than answers. Expect that to continue Thursday against the Jets with Brett Rypien or Jeff Driskel leading the offense.

McManus converted two of three field goals -- from 49- and 27-yards out -- and made an extra-point during Sunday's 26-21 loss in Pittsburgh. He missed a 58-yard attempt.

McManus attempted his first three field-goal tries of the season after signing his megadeal to remain in Denver just prior to the start of the season. No one will begrudge McManus for missing a 58-yarder in a very difficult stadium to kick in, but how McManus performs with longer kicks bears watching. He's been nearly automatic from inside 50 yards since the start of 2018, converting 47 of his 49 attempts. Despite a huge leg, however, he's just six for 15 from 50 and out.

McManus didn't attempt a field goal in Monday's 16-14 loss to the TItans but made both of his PAT attempts.

McManus didn't get many opportunities, as the Denver offense often failed to move the ball and got into the end zone both times that it got rolling. With a road date against the stingy Steelers defense on tap in Week 2, McManus' kicking opportunities will likely remain limited.

The Broncos and McManus have agreed to a four-year, $17.2 million extension, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

McManus was set to play the season on a one-year deal, with the opportunity to enter free agency in the offseason. However, he'll now be in Denver long term while being paid at least $9.5 million in fully guaranteed money. The contract rewards McManus for his accuracy, as he has made 82 percent of his kicks across six seasons in Denver, including going 29 of 34 in 2019.

The Broncos picked up McManus' $1 million option for 2020, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

McManus is coming off another solid year with Denver, as he connected on 29 of 34 field goals (85.3 percent) and 25 of 26 extra points. The 28-year-old kicker hit four of seven kicks from beyond 50 yards, and he's poised to be the Broncos' starter again in 2020.
