Makes splash plays
Thomas recorded three catches on six targets for 87 yards in Sunday's 36-19 win over the Colts.
ANALYSIS
Jakobi Meyers led the Jaguars in targets, but Thomas delivered several big plays to pace Jacksonville in yardage. He made a particularly impressive one-handed catch down the right sideline late in the first quarter for a 39-yard gain -- his longest of the day. Thomas' other two catches went for 30 and 18 yards, giving him his highest yardage total since Week 6. While he's had a disappointing season, Thomas has a strong chance to remain on track heading into a favorable Week 15 matchup against the Jets.
Nov 30, 2025
Two catches in return
Thomas recorded two receptions on three targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 25-3 win over the Titans.
ANALYSIS
Thomas returned from a three-game absence caused by an ankle injury, but his disappointing season continued. The Jaguars were able to rely relatively heavily on their run game while playing with at least a two-score lead for most of the game, but Thomas still finished tied for third on the team in targets. While he converted receptions of 17 and 11 yards, Thomas has now been held below 50 receiving yards in five of his nine games on the campaign.
Nov 27, 2025
Logs full practice Thursday
Thomas (ankle) practiced fully Thursday.
ANALYSIS
This past Sunday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network indicated that Thomas -- who last played in Week 9 -- had a good chance to return to action in Week 13 versus the Titans, and the wideout's return to a full practice Thursday paves the way for that to occur. In the eight contests he's been available for, Thomas has recorded a 30-420-1 line on 60 targets, a pace down from his strong level of output in 2024, yet enough to make the Jaguars' top WR worthy of fantasy lineup consideration in his looming return to the lineup.
Nov 26, 2025
Remains limited at practice
Thomas (ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
In reference to Thomas' chances of returning to action Sunday against the the Titans, coach Liam Coen noted Wednesday that the Jaguars will take it "day-by-day" with the wideout, who last saw game action in Week 9, per Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL 92.5 FM Jacksonville. If Thomas remains out or is limited Sunday against the Titans, Tim Patrick would a candidate to log added Week 13 snaps alongside fellow WRs Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington.
Nov 23, 2025
Good chance for Week 13 return
Thomas (ankle), who won't play Sunday against the Cardinals, has a good chance to return to action in Week 13 versus the Titans, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Per Pelissero, Thomas -- who last played in Week 9 -- is getting close to a return after having logged limited three straight limited practices ahead of Week 12 action. In his absence versus Arizona, Jakobi Meyers, Parker Washington and Tim Patrick are on track to lead the Jaguars WR' corps.
Nov 21, 2025
Won't play Sunday
Thomas (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
ANALYSIS
Though Thomas was able to practice in a limited fashion this week, he'll still miss his third straight game. In his continued absence this weekend, Jakobi Meyers, Parker Washington and Tim Patrick are in line to lead Jacksonville's Week 12 WR corps. Thomas' next chance to see game action will be Nov. 30 against the Titans.
Nov 20, 2025
Remains limited in practice
Thomas (ankle) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Though Thomas has been on the field for five consecutive Jaguars practices, he's yet to advance beyond limited participation. With that in mind, Thomas may need to upgrade to full activity Friday to improve his chances of missing a third straight game this Sunday in Arizona. If Thomas is able to move past the ankle sprain and suit up this weekend, he could be in line for plenty of targets with Travis Hunter (knee) out for the season and with top tight end Brenton Strange (hip) uncertain to be activated from injured reserve prior to Sunday.
Nov 19, 2025
Still limited at practice
Thomas (ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Thomas was also limited at practice last week before being listed as questionable for this past Sunday's win over the Chargers, a game that the wideout was inactive for. Thomas -- who last saw game action in Week 9 -- now has two more chances to practice fully ahead of this weekend's game against the Cardinals. In his absence versus Los Angeles, Jakobi Meyers, Parker Washington and Tim Patrick headed Jacksonville's Week 11 wideout corps.
Nov 16, 2025
Sitting out second straight game
Thomas (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Though Thomas was a limited participant in practice throughout the week, he ultimately didn't display enough progress in his recovery from a low-grade high-ankle sprain to avoid a second straight missed game. With Thomas sidelined, Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington will likely serve as Jacksonville's top two wideouts, and Dyami Brown and Tim Patrick could also see their profiles in the passing game expand.
Nov 15, 2025
Probably won't play Sunday
Thomas (ankle), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's Week 11 clash against the Chargers, is not expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Thomas logged a trio of limited practice this week as he tries to return from the ankle injury he suffered Week 9 against Las Vegas. However, it appears he'll sit out a second straight contest in order to give the ankle more time to heal. That means Parker Washington and Jakobi Meyers are likely to work as the Jaguars' top two wideouts, with Dyami Brown slated for the No. 3 role. Thomas' ability to practice three times in limited fashion this week suggests that he has at least a decent chance of returning in Week 12 versus Arizona.
Nov 14, 2025
Questionable after limited practice
Thomas (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Thomas' questionable designation comes on the heels of three consecutive limited practices. If he returns from a one-game absence Sunday, Thomas would likely jump right back into a leading role in a Jacksonville receiving corps that also features Jakobi Meyers, Parker Washington and Dyami Brown.
Nov 13, 2025
Another limited practice
Thomas (ankle) remained limited at practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Fellow WR Parker Washington (hamstring) was also limited Thursday, with Friday's final injury report slated to reveal the duo's game status ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers. Prior to being inactive in Week 10, Thomas recorded a 30/420/1 receiving line on 60 targets through eight contests.
Nov 12, 2025
Limited in return to practice
Thomas (ankle) returned to a limited practice Wednesday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
ANALYSIS
Thomas didn't practice last week before being ruled out for this past Sunday's loss to the Texans, so his return to a limited session Wednesday offers hope that the wideout can play this weekend against the Chargers. However, unless Thomas is able to practice fully by Friday, he figures to carry a Week 11 injury designation. Meanwhile, fellow WR Parker Washington -- who has been targeted 26 times in his last three games -- missed Wednesday's practice due to a hamstring injury.
Nov 7, 2025
Ruled out for Sunday
Thomas (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Texans after not practicing this week.
ANALYSIS
With Thomas out, newcomer Jakobi Meyers, Parker Washington and Dyami Brown are in line to lead the Jaguars' Week 10 WR corps, with Tim Patrick and Austin Trammell available to mix in. Thomas' next chance to see game action will occur Nov. 16 against the Chargers.
Nov 7, 2025
Expected to miss Sunday's game
Thomas is in line to miss Sunday's game against the Texans due to his low-grade high ankle sprain, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Thomas didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday and is now trending toward being ruled out once the Jaguars post their final Week 10 injury report later Friday. In his looming absence, newcomer Jakobi Meyers, Parker Washington, Dyami Brown (provided he clears concussion protocol) and Tim Patrick are slated to lead the Jaguars' WR corps this weekend.
Nov 6, 2025
Not practicing Thursday
Thomas (ankle) wasn't present for Thursday's practice, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
ANALYSIS
Thomas also logged a 'DNP' on Wednesday, with the wideout's ankle issue now his only listed injury ahead of Sunday's game against the Texans. Adam Schefter of ESPN previously noted that Thomas -- who is reportedly dealing with a low-grade high ankle sprain -- has a chance to play this weekend, but for that to be possible, he'll likely need to practice in some capacity Friday.
Nov 5, 2025
Not seen at practice Wednesday
Thomas (left ankle/shoulder) wasn't spotted at practice Wednesday, Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union reports.
ANALYSIS
Thomas, who had been managing a shoulder issue, is now dealing with what Adam Schefter of ESPN describes as a low-grade high ankle sprain. Per Schefter, the wideout has a chance to play Sunday against the Texans, but Wednesday's absence now gives Thomas two more opportunities to practice before the Jaguars' Week 10 injury designations are assigned. With Thomas banged up, Travis Hunter (knee) on IR, Dyami Brown having sustained a concussion this past Sunday, and Tim Patrick (groin) also injured, the Jaguars' WR depth is currently taxed, a situation the team addressed by trading for Jakobi Meyers on Tuesday.
Nov 4, 2025
Nursing low-grade sprain
Thomas sustained a low-grade high-ankle sprain in Sunday's 30-29 overtime win over the Raiders, but the Jaguars have optimism that he'll be able to play through the injury Week 10 in Houston, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Though high-ankle sprains almost always cause players to miss at least one game, Thomas appears to have a realistic chance at avoiding an absence since his injury looks to be of the mild variety. Even so, Thomas' practice activity is expected to be affected this week, and unless he upgrades to full participation by Friday, he'll likely take a designation into Sunday. In response to seeing its receiver depth take significant hits of late with Travis Hunter (knee) moving to injured reserve last week, Tim Patrick (knee) sitting out the Week 9 win and Thomas and Dyami Brown (concussion) both exiting the contest early, the Jaguars acquired Jakobi Meyers from the Raiders on Tuesday. Meyers is likely to eventually settle in as the Jaguars' primary option in the slot while Hunter is out for at least three more games, though Meyers could initially see more reps on the perimeter this Sunday if Thomas is unable to play.
Nov 2, 2025
Hurts ankle prior to overtime
Thomas (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Raiders, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Thomas sustained an ankle injury in the latter stages of regulation time against the Raiders and was deemed questionable to return at the start of overtime. Prior to the injury, Thomas caught three of five targets for 55 yards. Parker Washington is operating as the team's top wide receiver without Thomas, Travis Hunter (knee) or Dyami Brown (concussion) on the field.
Oct 31, 2025
Cleared to play Sunday
Thomas (shoulder) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Raiders after being limited in practice this week.
ANALYSIS
With Travis Hunter (knee) on IR and slated to miss at least four games, the Jaguars will need all they can get from Thomas in the coming weeks, as he's slated to lead a WR corps that will also feature Dyami Brown and Parker Washington. Through seven games, Thomas -- who caught 87 passes for 1,282 yards and 10 TDs as a rookie last season -- has logged a less impressive 27/365/1 receiving line on 55 targets, but as long as he's not hampered too much by the shoulder issue he's currently managing, he should be busy this weekend and beyond.
Oct 30, 2025
Reps capped in Thursday's session
Thomas (shoulder) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Thomas was one of three Jaguars receivers who had his reps capped Thursday, with Travis Hunter (knee) and Tim Patrick (groin) joining him as limited participants. The second-year wideout has been using a harness to protect his injured right shoulder, but he still appears to be trending toward suiting up Sunday in Las Vegas. The Jaguars will reveal after Friday's practice whether Thomas carries an injury designation into the weekend.
Oct 29, 2025
Listed as limited Wednesday
Thomas (shoulder) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Thomas practiced with a harness over his shoulder, apparently still dealing with discomfort after a Week 8 bye. It sounds like he's gearing up to play this Sunday in Las Vegas, but the injury could impact his performance even if it doesn't threaten his availability.
Oct 29, 2025
Practicing with harness
Thomas wore a harness on his injured right shoulder during Wednesday's practice, Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union reports.
ANALYSIS
Thomas said he's "getting better and better, day by day," though his shoulder apparently remains an issue after a Week 8 bye, potentially impacting his efficacy if not his availability. He played into the fourth quarter during a Week 7 loss to the Rams, but he was visibly in pain on multiple occasions and finished with season lows for snap share (66 percent) and route share (69 percent). The Jaguars play at Las Vegas this Sunday, facing a Raiders defense that's given up the fifth-most PPR points per game (38.3) to wide receivers
Oct 19, 2025
Limited role in Sunday's loss
Thomas (shoulder) caught three of seven targets for 31 yards in Sunday's 35-7 loss to the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Despite the fact that the Jaguars were playing from behind pretty much the entire game, Thomas finished third on the team in targets behind Travis Hunter (8-101-1 on 14 targets) and Parker Washington (4-52-0 on 10 targets). Thomas checked in and out of the lineup in the second half due to what seemed to be multiple nagging injuries, and he was eventually removed completely due to an apparent right shoulder issue late in the fourth quarter. The second-year wideout will have the Jaguars' Week 8 bye to get healthy, but through seven games he sports a disappointing 27-365-1 line on 55 targets.
Oct 12, 2025
Starts clicking with Lawrence
Thomas secured eight of 10 targets for 90 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars' 20-12 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Thomas led the Jaguars' pass catchers across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets, one-upping the then season-best 80-yard effort he'd posted against the Chiefs on Monday night. The second-year wideout also scored his long-awaited first touchdown of the campaign via 21-yard grab late in the first quarter that opened the scoring on the afternoon. Thomas has started to find some equilibrium in his production over the last three games, and he'll aim to extend the momentum in a Week 7 matchup against the Rams in London.
Oct 6, 2025
Team-high yardage total in win
Thomas secured four of six targets for 80 yards in the Jaguars' 31-28 win over the Chiefs on Monday night.
ANALYSIS
Thomas finished as the Jaguars' leader in receptions, receiving yards and targets, holding the top spot in the middle category for the second consecutive week. His final catch of the night was the most critical, as he recorded a 33-yard grab on Jacksonville's game-winning drive and then drew a pass interference penalty that wiped out an interception four plays later. Thomas' yardage tally was also a new season high for the second-year wideout, who's yet to have his first true breakout effort in head coach Liam Coen's offense but has put together his two best all-around performances this season in the last pair of contests. Thomas will take a 16-244-0 line into a Week 6 home matchup against a Seahawks squad that just conceded a 163-yard, one-touchdown day to the Buccaneers' Emeka Egbuka on Sunday.
Sep 28, 2025
Leading receiver in win
Thomas finished with five receptions on seven targets for 49 yards while adding seven rushing yards on one attempt in Sunday's 26-21 win over San Francisco.
ANALYSIS
Thomas finished as the Jaguars' leading receiver in another low-volume passing day from QB Trevor Lawrence (21-31, 174 yards, TD). The 22-year-old Thomas gained seven yards on his second rushing attempt of the season, but he was unable to reproduce the trip to the end zone from his first attempt back in Week 1. The positive takeaway from this matchup was the star wideout posting his first catch rate north of 50 percent (71.4) after suffering a bad case of the drops over his previous three contests. Thomas will attempt to carry over the confidence from this solid showing into next Monday's primetime matchup against the Chiefs.
Sep 21, 2025
Provides splash play in win
Thomas secured two of six targets for 55 yards in the Jaguars' 17-10 win over the Texans on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Thomas endured another lackluster afternoon on a day when Trevor Lawrence continued to struggle with play-to-play consistency. However, the talented second-year wideout still managed to finish second in receiving yards on the afternoon for Jacksonville courtesy of a critical and team-high 46-yard catch with two minutes remaining to set up a game-winning 10-yard touchdown run by Travis Etienne on the next play. While the noteworthy reception propped up Thomas' fantasy day to an extent, he'll still take just a 7-115-1 line on 25 targets through three games into a Week 4 road matchup against the 49ers next Sunday.
Sep 19, 2025
Clear for Week 3
Thomas (wrist) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game versus the Texans.
ANALYSIS
Thomas has gotten off to a slow start this season, with five catches for 60 yards and no touchdowns on 19 targets through the first two games. A wrist injury is partly to blame, as coach Liam Coen revealed Monday, per Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union. Thomas proceeded to follow an FP/LP/FP practice regimen this week, during which he told Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union on Thursday that his wrist was "sore" following Wednesday's session. Thomas then relayed to O'Halloran on Friday that he's "good to go" for Week 3 action, which was confirmed on the Jaguars' most recent injury report. The 2024 first-round pick thus will be in line to serve as the Jaguars' No. 1 pass catcher Sunday, though it remains to be seen if his efficiency woes are behind him.
Sep 18, 2025
Limited at practice Thursday
Thomas (wrist) was limited at practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Thomas was deemed a full participant Wednesday, so his limited session a day later is notable. However, it's possible that the listing is indicative of rep management as opposed to a setback, with Friday's final injury report slated to add further context regarding Thomas' availability for Sunday's game against the Texans, either way.
Sep 17, 2025
Logs full practice
Thomas (wrist) practiced fully Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union previously reported that coach Liam Coen acknowledged Monday that Thomas approached Week 2 action with a wrist injury, but the wideout still managed to record a 94 percent snap share in Sunday's 31-27 loss to the Bengals. With a full practice under his belt Wednesday, Thomas is slated to face the Texans this weekend, and in the process maintain his key role in the Jaguars passing attack. Through two games to date, Thomas has been targeted 19 times (including 12 times versus Cincinnati), but has caught just five passes for 60 yards in that span. While the 2024 first-rounder's slow start is mildly concerning, assuming he's not hampered by his wrist issue, a spike in production and efficiency seems inevitable for the talented 22-year-old, who compiled a 87/1,282/10 receiving line (on 133 targets) in 17 regular-season games last year.
Sep 15, 2025
Played through wrist injury Week 2
Jaguars coach Liam Coen said Monday that Thomas entered Sunday's 31-27 loss to the Bengals nursing a wrist injury, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
ANALYSIS
Thomas wasn't listed on Jacksonville's injury report leading up to Sunday's loss, so his wrist injury could have been sustained over the weekend. An injury would somewhat explain Thomas' inefficiency versus Cincinnati, as he secured just four of 12 targets for 49 yards during the narrow loss and at times seemed to visibly shy away from contact. Coen said Thomas "knows he needs to have a great week of practice," per Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL 92.5 FM Jacksonville radio, so fantasy managers will need to monitor whether the Year 2 wideout is listed on Wednesday's first injury report of Week 3, ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Texans.
Sep 14, 2025
Inefficient in Week 2 loss
Thomas secured four of 12 targets for 49 yards in the Jaguars' 31-27 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
For the second time in as many games to open the new season, the Trevor Lawrence-Thomas connection was in less than optimal form. The star wideout led the Jaguars in targets by a wide margin, but he was only third in receiving yards despite the abundance of opportunities. Thomas also saw Trevor Lawrence's trio of TD passes go to No. 3 receiver Dyami Brown and running backs Travis Etienne and Bhayshul Tuten, leading to another lackluster afternoon. Thomas next opportunity to snap out of his early-season doldrums comes in a Week 3 home divisional matchup against the Texans.
Sep 7, 2025
Finds end zone in tough day
Thomas caught one of seven targets for 11 yards and took his only carry nine yards for a touchdown in Sunday's 26-10 win over the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
It was a frustrating start to his second NFL season for Thomas, but he salvaged his day with a TD on an end-around in the second quarter. Better days will be ahead for the LSU product as the Jaguars adjust to new coach Liam Coen's scheme, but the 1-11-0 line is already worse than Thomas had in any game as a rookie. He'll look for bigger volume and better production on the road in Week 2 against the Bengals.
Aug 17, 2025
Four targets in two possessions
Thomas caught two of four targets for eight yards in Sunday's 17-17 preseason tie against the Saints. He also rushed once for two yards.
ANALYSIS
Thomas played two drives and worked as the top target for Trevor Lawrence over that span, especially in the absence of rookie wide receiver Travis Hunter (upper body). Expectations for Thomas are sky high after a 1,282-yard, 10-touchdown rookie regular season. The Jaguars will wrap up preseason play with a trip to Miami on Saturday.
Aug 9, 2025
Plays briefly in preseason opener
Thomas recorded one reception on two targets for eight yards in Saturday's 31-25 preseason loss to the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Like most of Jacksonville's top skill-position players, Thomas played on the first offensive possession before sitting out the rest of the game. He accounted for Trevor Lawrence's first completion of the game, though his most noteworthy moment of the contest came four plays later when he was hit hard by Juan Thornhill while trying to make a catch. Thomas came away unscathed, and it remains to be seen if he'll suit up for any additional preseason contests.
Aug 7, 2025
Back at practice Thursday
Thomas (illness) returned to practice Thursday, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Thomas missed Wednesday's session due to an illness, but was back one day later, giving him an opportunity to log some practice reps ahead of Saturday's preseason opener against the Steelers. Per Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL 92.5 FM Jacksonville, coach Liam Coen indicated Thursday that he has no plans for any of his healthy players to sit out the contest, but it remains to be seen how much action key players such as Thomas will see versus Pittsburgh.
Aug 6, 2025
Dealing with illness
Thomas will miss Wednesday's practice due to an illness and is considered day-to-day, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The illness is likely a non-concern for the regular season but could impact Thomas' availability Saturday if the Jaguars decide to use key players in their preseason opener against Pittsburgh. This is the first report of Thomas missing any time during training camp.
Jun 12, 2025
Returns to practice
Thomas (shoulder) was a full practice participant Thursday, SI.com's John Shipley reports.
ANALYSIS
He returned for the final offseason practice after exiting early a day before. With the shoulder injury confirmed to minor, Thomas should be a full go for the start of training camp, where he'll look to build on a phenomenal rookie season in which he caught 87 passes for 1,282 yards and 10 TDs on 133 targets. The Jaguars have a new coaching staff, led by Liam Coen, and a new-look WR room with Travis Hunter and Dyami Brown replacing Christian Kirk (Texans) and Gabe Davis (free agent).
Jun 11, 2025
Dinged up in practice
Thomas left Wednesday's practice with a shoulder injury but could've returned if the Jaguars had wanted him to, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Thomas walked off the field with trainers but returned as an observer not long after. While he may be held out of the team's final offseason practice Thursday, it sounds like he'll be fine for the start of training camp in late July. Thomas has mostly been a late-first-round pick in early fantasy drafts, after closing out his rookie season with six straight games of at least 76 yards and 10 targets. Second overall pick Travis Hunter will give defenses something else to worry about in the passing game, but he won't necessarily get enough targets to threaten Thomas' value. Other potential positives for 2025 include a healthier Trevor Lawrence and new head coach Liam Coen.
Feb 25, 2025
Locked in as focal point
New Jaguars head coach Liam Coen said the team's passing game will run through Thomas, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
That much is clear; the real question is who else will catch passes from Trevor Lawrence on a regular basis. WR Christian Kirk (collarbone) and TE Evan Engram (shoulder) both are entering contract years without any guaranteed money remaining, and WR Gabe Davis (knee) is coming off a disappointing season that ended early with a meniscus tear. Thomas may be at the level where target competition doesn't really matter and teammates are competing with each other rather than him, considering he closed out 2024 with one of the most productive stretches ever seen from a rookie wide receiver (while catching passes from backup QB Mac Jones). After a Week 12 bye, Thomas had six straight games with at least 10 targets and 76 yards, averaging 7.5 receptions for 99.8 yards and 0.83 TDs on 11.7 targets. Similar output over the course of a full season is unlikely even for a player with Thomas' rare combination of size, speed and agility, but it isn't entirely out of the question under Coen, whose lone year as Tampa Bay's pla
Jan 5, 2025
Tops 100 yards to close out year
Thomas caught seven of 11 targets for 103 yards in Sunday's 26-23 overtime loss to the Colts.
ANALYSIS
The 23rd overall pick in the 2024 Draft closed out his rookie campaign in style, topping 100 yards for the third time in the last four games. Thomas benefitted down the stretch from the fact that Christian Kirk (collarbone), Gabe Davis (knee) and Evan Engram (shoulder) were all on the shelf, but he was also catching passes from Mac Jones and not Trevor Lawrence (shoulder). Thomas finished the year having complied an 87-1,282-10 line on 133 targets, with the yardage figure leading all rookies. Even if the Jaguars' passing attack is at full strength in 2025, Thomas should be a significant part of it, if not the clear No. 1 receiver for Lawrence.
Dec 29, 2024
Strong close to campaign continues
Thomas recorded seven receptions on 10 targets for 91 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-13 win over the Titans. He added one rush for 18 yards.
ANALYSIS
Thomas has been on an impressive run of production, particularly considering Mac Jones has been his quarterback. That continued Sunday, as he was the focal point of Jacksonville's passing attack and delivered long catches of 31 and 17 yards. He capped his performance with an impressive 11-yard touchdown midway through the fourth quarter to all but clinch victory for the Jaguars. Thomas has at least 80 receiving yards or a touchdown in six straight contests.
Dec 22, 2024
Tops 1,000 receiving yards
Thomas recorded nine receptions on 13 targets for 132 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 19-14 loss to the Raiders.
ANALYSIS
Thomas continued to see excellent volume with Mac Jones under center, with Sunday's performance marking his fourth straight with double-digit targets. He also continued to deliver splash plays, the highlight being a 62-yard catch and run into the end zone late in the third quarter. Thomas now has at least 76 receiving yards in all four games since Jacksonville's Week 12 bye while finding the end zone a total of four times. The performance also put him over 1,000 yards for the campaign.
Dec 15, 2024
Racks up 105 yards, two TDs in loss
Thomas caught 10 of 14 targets for 105 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 32-25 loss to the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Thomas has proven capable of overcoming mediocre quarterback play as a rookie, accounting for both of Mac Jones' touchdown passes in this latest Jacksonville loss. The 23rd overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft capped the opening drive with a three-yard touchdown catch and added a go-ahead 19-yard touchdown reception with 10:58 remaining in the fourth. Thomas topped 100 receiving yards for just the second time while posting the first multi-touchdown performance of his young career. He'll take a streak of four consecutive games with at least 76 receiving yards into a Week 16 trip to Vegas.
Dec 8, 2024
Remains bright spot
Thomas recorded eight receptions on 12 targets for 86 yards in Sunday's 10-6 win over the Titans.
ANALYSIS
Thomas was one of the few players to get going in an ugly offensive showing from both teams. He delivered splash plays of 31 and 21 yards on the Jaguars' only touchdown drive of the game, setting up a rushing score for Tank Bigsby. Despite otherwise being limited to short gains, Thomas has at least 75 receiving yards and four receptions in each of his last three games.
Dec 2, 2024
Catches late TD from Jones
Thomas brought in four of 10 targets for 76 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars' 23-20 loss to the Texans on Sunday. He also rushed once for 11 yards.
ANALYSIS
Thomas finished second on the Jaguars in receiving yards and targets to Parker Washington, and he rounded out his fantasy afternoon nicely with a late six-yard touchdown reception. The touchdown was Thomas' sixth overall and first since Week 8, and he's now compiled 158 receiving yards over the last two games while working with Mac Jones for a significant portion of that span. With Jones almost certainly drawing a Week 14 start in place of Trevor Lawrence (concussion) on the road against the Titans, Thomas will remain a key fantasy asset based on what seems to be some decent chemistry between he and Jones.
Nov 17, 2024
Paces receivers in loss
Thomas secured five of seven targets for 82 yards in the Jaguars' 52-6 loss to the Lions on Sunday. He also rushed once for four yards.
ANALYSIS
Thomas actually managed to cobble together a solid performance despite the lopsided nature of the loss and the fact he was catching passes from Mac Jones instead of Trevor Lawrence (shoulder). The rookie wideout tied with Evan Engram for the team lead in receptions and targets while setting the pace in receiving yards, recording his highest totals in all three categories since Week 7. Thomas should have a good chance of having Lawrence back under center in a Week 13 home divisional battle against the Texans following a Week 12 bye.
Nov 15, 2024
Cleared despite limited practices
Thomas (chest) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Lions, Mia O'Brien of 1010XL Radio reports.
ANALYSIS
Thomas was limited in all three of Jacksonville's practices but will play through a chest contusion for a third consecutive game. Jacksonville's No. 1 wide receiver is a high-risk, high-reward fantasy option in Week 11. Thomas has just 34 receiving yards over the past two games while playing through this injury and will be catching passes from backup quarterback Mac Jones on Sunday, but the Lions are allowing 199.1 receiving yards per game to wide receivers.

Remains limited in practice
Thomas (chest) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Since suffering a chest contusion in the Jaguars' Week 8 loss to the Packers, Thomas has been listed as a limited participant in eight consecutive practices. He hasn't missed any game action because of the injury, playing 90 percent of snaps in a Week 9 loss to the Eagles and 86 percent of snaps in a Week 10 loss to the Vikings. However, Thomas has been limited to a 4-36-0 receiving line on seven targets between those contests, and assuming he's cleared to play again this Sunday against the Lions, he'll profile as a risky option in fantasy lineups. With Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) already ruled out for the Week 11 game, Mac Jones will make a second straight start at quarterback, coming off an ugly outing against the Vikings in which he threw for just 111 yards on 22 attempts while committing three turnovers.
Nov 13, 2024
Limited practice Wednesday
Thomas (chest) was limited at practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
As was Gabe Davis (shoulder), though with no reported setbacks for either of the Jaguars' starting wideouts -- who both logged 86 percent snap shares in Week 10 -- chances are the duo's listed limitations Wednesday were maintenance-related. Of more concern regarding Thomas' fantasy upside for Sunday's game against the Lions is that Mac Jones --who struggled in last weekend's 12-7 loss to the Vikings -- will get another start at QB for Jacksonville with Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) still unavailable.
Nov 11, 2024
Quiet in Week 10 loss
Thomas caught two of three targets for 12 yards during Sunday's 12-7 loss to the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
The rookie first-round pick played 86 percent of Jacksonville's offensive snaps but saw fewer than five targets for the third straight game. The Jaguars struggled to move the ball with Mac Jones under center, and Thomas' fantasy upside is likely to be limited while Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) is unavailable.
Nov 10, 2024
Ready to go Sunday
Thomas (chest) is active for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
The Jaguars listed Thomas as questionable for the second week in a row due to the chest contusion he suffered in a Week 8 loss to the Packers, but he'll once again suit up despite being a limited participant in practices Wednesday through Friday. In the Jaguars' Week 9 loss to the Eagles, Thomas' playing time wasn't affected -- he played 90 percent of the offensive snaps -- but he was contained to two catches for 22 yards on four targets. He should continue to see ample snaps as Jacksonville's No. 1 wideout in Week 10, though Thomas will be working with a new quarterback in Mac Jones, who is stepping in for the injured Trevor Lawrence (shoulder).
Nov 9, 2024
Likely to play Sunday
Thomas (chest), who is officially questionable for Week 10, is expected to play in Sunday's contest against Minnesota, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Thomas appears set to play through a chest issue for a second straight week despite reports that emerged in the aftermath of the injury that he could miss 2-to-4 weeks. In last Sunday's loss to Philadelphia, the rookie wideout notched just two catches for a season-low 22 yards, but he was able to log a season-high 90 percent of the Jaguars' offensive snaps. Per Fowler, Gabe Davis -- Jacksonville's No. 2 wideout -- is also slated to suit up Sunday despite a shoulder injury.
Nov 8, 2024
Questionable for Sunday
Thomas (chest) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings after practicing in a limited fashion this week, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The same goes for Gabe Davis (shoulder) -- who was inactive Week 9 -- with Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL 92.5 FM Jacksonville relaying Friday that head coach Doug Pederson noted that he was optimistic Davis would be able to play Sunday, while also commending Thomas, who continues to progress, for his "toughness" in fighting through his chest injury last weekend en route to logging a 91 percent snap share in the Jaguars' 28-23 loss to the Eagles. At this stage, it looks like Jacksonville is trending toward having both Thomas and Davis available versus Minnesota, with confirmation of the duo's Week 10 status set to arrive once the team's inactives are posted ahead of Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
Nov 7, 2024
Remains limited Thursday
Thomas (chest) remained limited in practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Thomas was also limited Wednesday, so he'll presumably need to practice fully Friday in order to approach Sunday's game against the Vikings without an injury designation. While playing through his chest issue in a Week 9 loss to the Eagles, Thomas was on the field for 91 percent of the Jaguars' snaps on offense, en route to catching two of his four targets for 22 yards. Friday's final injury report will reveal whether Thomas heads into the weekend with an injury designation, but assuming his availability, a bounce-back could be in store for the 2024 first-rounder versus Minnesota, considering the steady role he maintains in his team's passing attack.
Nov 6, 2024
Limited in Wednesday's practice
Thomas (chest) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Thomas played through the injury in Week 9 against the Eagles but was held to a career-low 22 receiving yards. If the standout rookie can upgrade to full participation Thursday or Friday and avoid an injury designation Sunday against the Vikings, that could portend a return to his previous level of production, which saw Thomas average 71.6 receiving yards per game and catch five touchdown passes in his first eight NFL games.
Nov 4, 2024
Quiet game Sunday
Thomas had two receptions (four targets) for 22 yards in Sunday's 28-23 loss to the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
Thomas saw his production take a hit in Week 9 following a pair of outings with 60-plus yards and a touchdown in each. The 2024 first-round selection has still been a strong fantasy asset with 35 receptions, 595 yards and five touchdowns through nine contests this season. Thomas will look to resume his scoring ways in next Sunday's matchup against Minnesota.
Nov 3, 2024
Active as expected in Week 9
Thomas (chest) is active for Sunday's Week 9 game against the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
The star rookie practiced in limited fashion all week and was believed to be trending toward active status, which is now official. Thomas will have a chance to enjoy his largest target opportunity share yet, considering Christian Kirk (IR, collarbone) and Gabe Davis (shoulder, inactive) are unavailable and Jacksonville could well have to eventually adopt a pass-heavy approach in a game it's a significant road underdog for.
Nov 3, 2024
Lining up to play Sunday
Thomas (chest) is listed as questionable but expected to play Sunday against the Eagles, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Barring a setback in pregame warmups, Thomas should be officially cleared to play upon the release of the Jaguars' inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. Thomas was one of three Jacksonville receivers to emerge from the Week 8 loss to the Packers with an injury, as he was forced out in the second half with a chest contusion. The rookie was then a limited participant in practice throughout Week 9 prep before head coach Doug Pederson characterized him as a game-time decision for Sunday, but Thomas looks like he'll be ready to lead a depleted Jacksonville receiving corps, which could result in an extra target or two going his way. Christian Kirk is out for the season after fracturing his left collarbone in Week 8, while Gabe Davis exited the loss to Green Bay with a shoulder injury and is listed as questionable for Week 9 but looks like a longshot to play in Philadelphia.
Nov 1, 2024
Game-time decision against Eagles
Thomas (chest) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
Thomas and Gabe Davis (shoulder) both carry questionable designations, while Christian Kirk (collarbone) is unsurprisingly ruled out due to what's expected to be a season-ending injury. Coach Doug Pederson said Friday that Thomas is less than 100 percent healthy and will be a game-time decision, per Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL Radio.
Oct 31, 2024
Another limited practice
Thomas (chest) remained limited at practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
As did Gabe Davis (shoulder), which puts the focus on what the duo is able to do at practice Friday in terms of the composition of the Jaguars' Week 9 wideout corps, which will be without Christian Kirk, who is is out for the season with a collarbone injury. Thomas will presumably need to practice fully Friday in order to approach Sunday's game against the Eagles without an injury designation.
Oct 30, 2024
Manages limited practice
Thomas (chest) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
It's a good sign just three days after an early exit from Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Packers. Early reports suggested Thomas may have suffered a multi-week injury, but coach Doug Pederson called the rookie day-to-day after an MRI revealed nothing more than a contusion. Thomas thus has a chance to play this Sunday at Philadelphia, as does Gabe Davis (shoulder - LP), while Christian Kirk (collarbone) is out for the season.
Oct 28, 2024
Called day-to-day by coach
Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said Monday that Thomas (chest) is day-to-day after an MRI diagnosed his injury as a contusion, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Thomas was initially reported to be in danger of missing 2-to-4 weeks by Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com, but MRI results have now revealed that the rookie first-round pick has avoided a more severe injury. That's one piece of crucial good news for Jacksonville's receiver corps, after Christian Kick (collarbone) was diagnosed with a season-ending fracture and No. 3 wideout Gabe Davis (shoulder) was also forced out of Sunday's loss to the Packers early. Pederson said Thomas may have a chance to suit up Week 9 against the Eagles. More information on Thomas' health will arrive when the Jaguars take the practice field Wednesday, in preparation for Week 9 action.
Oct 28, 2024
Could miss 2-to-4 weeks
Thomas (chest) is in danger of missing 2-to-4 weeks due to a chest injury sustained during Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Packers, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Thomas is slated for further scans Monday, which will reveal the full severity of his injury, but it looks like the standout rookie is trending toward sitting out at least Week 9 against the Eagles, as well as Week 11 against the Vikings. With Christian Kirk (collarbone) out for the season due to a fracture sustained Sunday and Gabe Davis (shoulder) also have logged an early exit versus the Packers, Thomas' injury comes at a particular brutal time for Jacksonville's pass-catching corps. Parker Washington and Tim Jones are the only healthy wide receivers on the Jaguars' active roster, leaving tight end Evan Engram in probable position to operate as Trevor Lawrence's top target.
Oct 28, 2024
Headed for MRI
Thomas (chest) will undergo an MRI on his ribs Monday as the Jaguars look to determine his status for their Week 9 game against the Eagles, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The standout rookie recorded three catches for 60 yards and a touchdown on four targets over 29 snaps in Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Packers before being forced out of the game in the second half with what the Jaguars termed as a chest injury. Thomas looks like he'll now get checked for a potential rib fracture Monday before the team forecasts his availability for next Sunday's contest in Philadelphia. The 22-year-old was one of three Jaguars receivers to suffer injuries in the contest, as Christian Kirk (collarbone) and Gabe Davis (shoulder) also made early exits.
Oct 27, 2024
Leaves Sunday's game
Thomas exited Sunday's game against the Packers after sustaining a chest injury.
ANALYSIS
Prior to leaving the game, Thomas caught three of his four targets for 60 yards and a TD. With Gabe Davis dealing with a shoulder issue, Christian Kirk, Parker Washington and Tim Jones are available to handle the Jaguars' WR duties against Green Bay.
Oct 20, 2024
Finds end zone in win
Thomas secured all five targets for 89 yards and a touchdown and rushed twice for two yards in the Jaguars' 32-16 win over the Patriots on Sunday in London.
ANALYSIS
The rookie wideout tied or set the pace for the Jaguars in receptions, receiving yards and targets. He was also the only Jacksonville pass catcher to find the end zone, recording a six-yard grab early in the second quarter for his third touchdown in the last four games. Despite Trevor Lawrence's struggles at times this season, Thomas has found a way to remain productive on most weeks and figures to once again be heavily involved in a Week 8 home matchup against the Packers.
Oct 14, 2024
Held in check in London
Thomas recorded three receptions for 27 yards on six targets in Sunday's 35-16 loss to the Bears in London.
ANALYSIS
Though he played 49 of the Jaguars' 62 offensive snaps for a season-high 79 percent snap share, Thomas finished with the lowest yardage total of his rookie campaign. His fantasy line would have looked more palatable had he not dropped a wide-open touchdown midway through the fourth quarter, with quarterback Trevor Lawrence ultimately hooking up with Gabe Davis on a five-yard score later in the drive. Despite the subdued performance, Thomas continues to see enough playing time and involvement in the passing game to at least warrant weekly consideration in fantasy lineups. He'll head into a Week 7 matchup with the Patriots having put together a 25-424-3 receiving line on 40 targets through the first six games of his career.
Oct 6, 2024
Another long TD in win
Thomas brought in five of eight targets for 122 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars' 37-34 win over the Colts on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The rookie continued to make splash plays and build chemistry with Trevor Lawrence, who put together a season-best effort in the high-scoring victory. The duo connected on an 85-yard catch and run just past the midway point of the second quarter to extend his touchdown streak to two games. Thomas' yardage total was also a team- and career-high figure, and he also set the pace for the Jaguars in targets on the afternoon. Thomas will be poised to once again play a pivotal role when the Jaguars travel to London to face the Bears in Week 6.
Sep 29, 2024
Hauls in TD against Houston
Thomas caught six of nine targets for 86 yards and a touchdown and added 13 rushing yards on one carry in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Texans.
ANALYSIS
The rookie led the Jaguars in receiving yards on the day, and his performance was highlighted by a two-yard TD grab in the first quarter after a muffed punt by Houston. Thomas has had a very productive start to his NFL career, putting together a 17-275-2 line on 26 targets over four games, and his role in the passing game is on the rise heading into a Week 5 clash with the Colts.
Sep 24, 2024
Catches five passes in blowout loss
Thomas secured five of nine targets for 48 yards during Monday's 47-10 loss to the BIlls.
ANALYSIS
The rookie first-round pick finished second on the team in targets, receptions and receiving yards, but that didn't amount to much production given the overall ineffectiveness of Jacksonville's offense. Thomas has been fairly productive through his first three NFL games with 11 catches for 189 yards and one touchdown.
Sep 15, 2024
Showcases big-play ability
Thomas recorded two receptions on four targets for 94 yards in Sunday's 18-13 loss to the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Gabe Davis and Brenton Strange surprisingly led the Jaguars in targets, but Thomas made the most of his two catches to lead the team in yardage. He recorded two of the team's four longest gains from scrimmage, first with a 66-yard catch late in the third quarter. Thomas followed that up with a 28-yard reception to set Jacksonville up with a chance to win the game in the final seconds. Thomas has seen four targets in each of his first two games. That's not ideal volume, though he's already clearly displayed his big-play ability and can rack up fantasy points on limited opportunity.
Sep 8, 2024
Finds end zone in NFL debut
Thomas brought in all four targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars' 20-17 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Thomas finished as the team leader in receptions and tied for first in targets as well while qualifying as the runner-up in receiving yards. The explosive rookie also recorded his first NFL touchdown on an impressive catch against standout cornerback Jalen Ramsey from 14 yards out just past the midway point of the second quarter. Thomas already looks to have solid chemistry with Trevor Lawrence, but he'll have another steep challenge against the Browns' talented secondary in Week 2.
Aug 23, 2024
One target from Lawrence
Thomas recorded one catch on one target for 38 yards in Friday's 31-0 preseason win over Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Thomas played on a pair of offensive drives, both of which came with Trevor Lawrence. Though he was targeted only once, Thomas did showcase his big-play ability while making a long catch before turning up the field to pick up an additional 20 yards. He has seemingly cemented himself as a starting outside receiver opposite Gabe Davis with Christian Kirk operating primarily out of the slot heading into a Week 1 matchup against Miami.
Aug 18, 2024
One catch in preseason win
Thomas brought in his only target for 14 yards in the Jaguars' 20-7 preseason win over the Buccaneers on Saturday night.
ANALYSIS
The rookie first-round pick recorded his one grab on the second possession, a 17-play drive that culminated in a touchdown. Thomas is averaging 27.5 yards per catch on his two preseason grabs thus far, and it remains to be seen if he'll receive any playing time in the road preseason finale against the Falcons on Friday night.
Aug 10, 2024
Chunk play on one catch Saturday
Thomas secured one of two targets for 41 yards in the Jaguars' 26-13 preseason win over the Chiefs on Saturday night.
ANALYSIS
One play after his first target from C.J. Beathard fell incomplete, Thomas and the journeyman signal-caller connected on a 41-yard completion down the left side late in the first quarter. It was an auspicious start to the rookie first-round pick's on-field NFL career, and the play offered a glimpse of the talent that could enable Thomas to eventually make a push for the Jaguars' No. 2 receiver job.
