Done for season with fibula injury
Interim head coach Mike McCoy noted after Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Texans that Ridley is out for the season with a broken fibula, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com and Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site report.
ANALYSIS
In his first game back after missing time with a hamstring injury, Ridley suffered a season-ending injury. In his looming absence, Elic Ayomanor, Chimere Dike and Van Jefferson are next up for the Titans' WR targets, though as Week 12 approaches Dike is dealing with a chest contusion and Ayomanor a hamstring issue, per Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com.

Won't return to Sunday's game
Ridley (ankle) won't return to Sunday's contest against the Texans.
ANALYSIS
With Chimere Dike (concussion) also not slated to return to the game, the Titans are left with Elic Ayomanor,, Van Jefferson and Mason Kinsey to handle WR duties versus Houston. Ridley's next chance to see game action will arrive next Sunday against the Seahawks.

Hurts ankle Sunday
Ridley was carted to the locker room during Sunday's game against the Texans after sustaining an ankle injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Prior to his exit from the contest -- his first since Week 6 -- Ridley caught his only target for 13 yards. In his absence, Elic Ayomanor, Chimere Dike, Van Jefferson and Mason Kinsey will handle the Titans' Week 11 WR duties.
Nov 16, 2025
Active versus Houston
Ridley (hamstring) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Texans.
ANALYSIS
Ridley, who had missed three consecutive games prior to the Titans' Week 10 bye, was able to log limited practices Wednesday through Friday, before approaching Sunday's contest listed as questionable. With his availability versus Houston confirmed, barring any setbacks or in-game limitations, Ridley is poised to reclaim his key role in Tennessee's passing offense. Prior to being sidelined, Ridley logged a a 16-290-0 receiving line on 35 targets through five games, plus the six snaps that he saw Oct. 12 before injuring his hamstring.
Nov 15, 2025
Expected to return Sunday
Ridley (hamstring), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup versus Houston, is likely to play, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley missed each of Tennessee's past three games while dealing with an injured hamstring. He was able to log a trio of limited practices this week following Tennessee's Week 10 bye, and the veteran wideout now seems ready to return to game action. If Ridley does indeed suit up Sunday, Elic Ayomanor, Chimere Dike and the rest of the Titans' WR corps could each take a step down in the team's pass-catching pecking order.
Nov 14, 2025
Questionable for Sunday
Ridley (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley has missed three consecutive games, but following the Titans' Week 10 bye, the wideout logged limited practices Wednesday through Friday, which gives him a chance to return to action this weekend. Fortunately for those considering Ridley in Week 11 fantasy lineups, Tennessee kicks off at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday. If Ridley is limited or out versus Houston, however, Chimere Dike, Elic Ayomanor and Van Jefferson would be in line to continue to see added WR opportunities.
Nov 13, 2025
Another limited practice
Ridley (hamstring) remained limited at practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After logging back-to-back limited sessions, Ridley, who has missed the Titans' past three contests, is trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's game against the Texans. Friday's injury report will reveal whether the wideout is able to upgrade his participation level, as well as his injury designation (or lack thereof) ahead of Week 11 action.
Nov 12, 2025
Limited in practice Wednesday
Ridley (hamstring) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley has missed three consecutive games, in which span he didn't practice at all, but coming off Tennessee's bye he appears to have made notable progress in his recovery. If the veteran wideout is able to upgrade to full practice reps Thursday and/or Friday, he could avoid an injury designation entirely for Sunday's home game against the Texans. That said, across six regular-season appearances so far Ridley is averaging just 48.3 receiving yards, and he remains without a touchdown on the year. Especially against a difficult matchup such as Houston, he will remain difficult to rely on for fantasy purposes even if cleared to retake the field.
Nov 12, 2025
Back at practice Wednesday
Ridley (hamstring) is slated to practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley has missed the Titans' past three games and hasn't practiced since Week 6, but following his team's bye, the wideout appears to be trending in the right direction as Sunday's game against the Texans approaches. Prior to sustaining his hamstring injury, Ridley recorded a 16/290/0 receiving line on 35 targets through five full games and the six snaps he saw Oct. 12.
Oct 31, 2025
Ruled out again
Ridley (hamstring) won't play Sunday against the Chargers, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley, who as of Thursday hadn't practiced since being forced out of Week 6 action after just six snaps, is thus slated to miss his third straight game, and with the Titans on bye next week, his next chance to play won't arrive until Nov. 16 against the Texans. In his continued absence, Chimere Dike, Elic Ayomanor and Van Jefferson -- who each logged eight targets in Week 8 -- will once again lead Tennessee's WR corps this weekend.
Oct 30, 2025
Not back at practice
Ridley (hamstring) wasn't spotted at Thursday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley hasn't practiced since being forced out of Week 6 action, so his status for Sunday's game against the Chargers remains cloudy. If the wideout ends up missing a third straight game, Chimere Dike, Elic Ayomanor and Van Jefferson would once against be in line to lead Tennessee's WR corps this weekend.
Oct 29, 2025
Still not practicing
Ridley (hamstring) won't practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Given that Ridley has yet to practice since being forced out of Week 6 action after just six snaps, the wideout's continued absence at Wednesday's session isn't a good sign as Sunday's game against the Chargers approaches. If Ridley is sidelined for a third straight game this weekend, Chimere Dike, Elic Ayomanor and Van Jefferson would continue to lead the Titans' WR corps versus Los Angeles.
Oct 24, 2025
Won't play Sunday
Ridley (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Colts, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
With Ridley slated to miss his second straight game, Elic Ayomanor, Van Jefferson and Chimere Dike will continue to lead the Titans WR corps this weekend. Ridley's next chance to play will arrive Nov. 2 against the Chargers.
Oct 23, 2025
Still not practicing
Ridley (hamstring) wasn't spotted at practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley, who has yet to practice since being forced out of Week 6 action after just six snaps, has just one more chance to do so before the Titans post their Week 8 injury statuses. If Ridley remains out Sunday against the Colts, Elic Ayomanor, Van Jefferson and Chimere Dike would continue to lead the team's WR corps.
Oct 22, 2025
Doesn't return to practice
Ridley (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley hasn't practiced since exiting a Week 6 loss to the Raiders after just six snaps. Van Jefferson stepped up as a full-time player opposite Elic Ayomanor the past tow games, with Chimere Dike getting most of the slot snaps as the No. 3 receiver.
Oct 17, 2025
Won't play Sunday
Ridley (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
With Ridley out, look for Elic Ayomanor and Van Jefferson (ankle) -- if available -- to lead the Titans' WR corps versus New England, with Chimere Dike and Tyler Lockett mixing in, as was the case in Week 6 when Ridley exited after just six snaps. His next chance to play will occur Oct. 26 against the Colts.
Oct 16, 2025
Still not practicing
Ridley (hamstring) wasn't spotted at practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
That was also the case a day before, and with Ridley poised to record another 'DNP' on Thursday, what the wideout is able to at practice Friday, if anything, will be pivotal with regard to his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Patriots. If he's sidelined this weekend, Van Jefferson would likely see an expanded role in Week 7, provided he's available after being limited by an ankle issue Wednesday.
Oct 15, 2025
Not practicing Wednesday
Ridley (hamstring) wasn't spotted at practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site and Turron Davenport of ESPN.com report.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was forced out of this past Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Raiders with a hamstring injury after logging just six snaps. The wideout now has two more opportunities to practice ahead of this weekend's game against the Patriots, but if Ridley ends up limited or sidelined, added snaps/targets would be available for Van Jefferson, who stepped into an expanded role in Week 6 following Ridley's departure.
Oct 12, 2025
Won't return Sunday
Ridley (hamstring) won't return to Sunday's game against the Raiders.
ANALYSIS
Ridley thus ends his day with one catch (on one target) for 18 yards, while Elic Ayomanor, Chimere Dike, Tyler Lockett and Van Jefferson will handle the Titans' WR duties in his absence for the remainder of the contest. Ridley's next chance to see game action will arrive Oct. 19 against the Patriots.
Oct 12, 2025
Hurts hamstring Sunday
Ridley exited Sunday's game against the Raiders with a hamstring injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Before leaving the contest, Ridley caught his only target for 18 yards. While he's sidelined, Elic Ayomanor, Chimere Dike, Tyler Lockett and Van Jefferson will handle the Titans' WR duties versus Las Veags.
Oct 5, 2025
Finally gets on track
Ridley recorded five receptions on 10 targets for 131 yards in Sunday's 22-21 win over the Cardinals.
ANALYSIS
Ridley entered Sunday's game having recorded only 141 yards combined across his first four games of the season. He finally got on track against the Cardinals, accounting for the Titans' three longest plays from scrimmage with receptions of 47, 38 and 25 yards. His longest two came at particularly opportune times, as he helped set up a touchdown early in the fourth quarter before getting Tennessee into field-goal range to attempt the game-winning kick as time expired. It will still be difficult to consistently trust Ridley given his start to the season, but it was encouraging to see him display some rapport with Cam Ward.
Oct 5, 2025
Active for Sunday's game
Ridley (knee/elbow) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
ANALYSIS
After logging a 54 percent snap share in the Titans' 26-0 loss to the Texans in Week 4, Ridley registered consecutive DNPs Wednesday and Thursday before working in a limited capacity Friday and then being deemed questionable for Sunday's contest. Ultimately, Ridley will be able to give it a go, though if he's limited at all, or suffers any setbacks versus Arizona, Tyler Lockett, Chimere Dike and Van Jefferson would see added WR opportunities alongside Elic Ayomanor. Through four games, Ridley has compiled a modest 10/141/0 receiving line on 24 targets, while Ayomanor has recorded a 12/151/2 line (on 25 targets) in that same span.
Oct 4, 2025
On track to play vs. Arizona
Ridley (knee/elbow) is trending towards being active for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley is working through knee and elbow injuries, which caused him to miss the first two practices of the week before logging a limited session Friday to earn the questionable tag. The veteran wideout looks to be available for Week 5, though official word on his status may not come until the Titans announce their list of inactive players approximately 90 minutes before Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. Ridley played just 27 snaps on offense during the Titans' Week 4 loss to the Texans, so he could see limited playing time against the Cardinals if he were to play, which would lead to more opportunities for Elic Ayomanor, Tyler Lockett, Chimere Dike and Van Jefferson. Ridley and the Titans offense are off to a slow start to the 2025 regular season, with the 2018 first-rounder tallying 10 catches (on 24 targets) for 141 yards through four games.
Oct 3, 2025
Questionable after limited practice
Ridley (knee/elbow) was limited in his return to practice Friday.
ANALYSIS
After logging back-to-back 'DNPs' Wednesday and Thursday, Ridley was able to work in a limited capacity Friday before being deemed questionable for Sunday's 4:05 ET contest against the Cardinals. Look for added context regarding the wideout's status to arrive late Saturday or early Sunday via national reporters like ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, but if Ridley is out or limited this weekend, WRs Tyler Lockett, Chimere Dike and Van Jefferson could see added Week 5 opportunities alongside Elic Ayomanor.
Oct 3, 2025
Questionable for Week 5
Ridley (knee/elbow) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Arizona, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley's workload was scaled back to 54 percent Week 4 against the Texans, and his absences from practice Wednesday and Thursday were attributed to knee and elbow issues. According to Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site, Ridley was present at Friday's session, but his status for Week 5 action now won't be known until about 90 minutes before Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff.
Oct 2, 2025
Misses another practice Thursday
Ridley (knee/elbow) was listed as a non-participant in practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Though Ridley logged his second consecutive 'DNP' listing, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com notes that the wideout was in uniform Thursday working on a side field. What Ridley is able to do Friday will thus loom large with regard to his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Cardinals. Through four games to date, Ridley has compiled a modest 10/141/0 receiving line on 24 targets.
Oct 1, 2025
Sits out practice Wednesday
Ridley (knee/elbow) didn't practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Coach Brian Callahan revealed Monday that Ridley played through an injury in Sunday's 26-0 loss to the Texans, en route to logging a season-low 54 percent snap share. Now we know that the wideout is managing knee and elbow issues ahead of this weekend's game against the Cardinals. Ridley has two more chances to practice before the Titans' Week 5 injury designations are posted Friday. If he's limited or out versus Arizona, Tyler Lockett, Chimere Dike and Van Jefferson would be candidates for added snaps alongside Elic Ayomanor.
Sep 29, 2025
Snaps dialed back due to injury
Coach Brian Callahan said Monday that Ridley had his snaps dialed back during Sunday's loss to the Texans due an undisclosed injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After playing at least 86 percent of the offensive snaps during each of the Titans' first three games, Ridley was on the field for just 54 percent of the snaps against Houston. It translated into yet another disappointing box score for the 30-year-old wideout, as he finished with just two catches for 30 scoreless yards on three targets. Ridley has yet to find the end zone this season and has been held to 30 yards or fewer in three of four contests. In total, Ridley has an ugly 10-141-0 receiving line on 24 targets this season. Among wide receivers with at least 10 targets this season, Ridley's 41.7 percent catch rate is fifth-worst at the position. It's unclear if the undisclosed injury will hamper Ridley at all next Sunday against the Cardinals.
Sep 29, 2025
Struggles continue
Ridley recorded two receptions on three targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 26-0 loss to the Texans.
ANALYSIS
There was some reason for mild optimism about Ridley's performance to begin Sunday's game, as he hauled in his first two targets -- one of which went for a 22-yard gain. However, he was targeted only once and went without a catch in the second half to continue his abysmal season. Ridley now has 30 receiving yards or fewer in three of four games, and he has converted only nine of his 24 targets into receptions.
Sep 22, 2025
Disastrous showing in loss to Colts
Ridley recorded one reception on seven targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 41-20 loss to the Colts.
ANALYSIS
The Titans continue to prioritize Ridley in their offense, as he led the team in targets Sunday. However, he struggled with drops and lacked rapport with Cam Ward, which led to the poor showing. Ridley has now been held to under 30 receiving yards in two of three games this season despite earning a minimum of six targets in every contest.
Sep 14, 2025
Some impovement in Week 2
Ridley recorded three receptions on six targets for 57 yards in Sunday's 33-19 loss to the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Ridley tied for the team lead in targets with both Elic Ayomanor and Chig Okonkwo, though he beat out Ayomanor by one yard to lead Tennessee pass catchers. Ridley's longest catch of the day went for 26 yards, when Cam Ward rolled out to his right and hit him along the sideline. It was an improved performance for Ridley, though Ayomanor is emerging as a key part of the offense and looks likely to continue to cut into Ridley's opportunities.
Sep 7, 2025
Out of sync with Ward
Ridley recorded four receptions on eight targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
Ridley led the Titans in targets and receptions, but he was not efficient with his chances and was slightly out of sync with Cameron Ward. The duo connected for a 13-yard gain early in the fourth quarter, Ridley's longest catch of the day. However, he had a few passes glance off his hands later in the contest as the Titans tried to mount a comeback, and Ridley had a particularly costly drop on the team's final offensive possession. While it was a disappointing opening line, Ridley should be in for better performances moving forward thanks to his secure role in the Titans' offense.
Sep 3, 2025
Good to go
Ridley isn't listed on the injury report for Week 1 at Denver, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley missed some practice time in mid-to-late August due to what was described as general soreness. The Titans' top wideout is unsurprisingly ready for the season opener, facing a tough matchup against CB Patrick Surtain and the Denver defense in Cameron Ward's first NFL start.
Aug 25, 2025
Expected to be ready Week 1
Coach Brian Callahan said over the weekend that Ridley (soreness) is on pace to be ready for Week 1 against the Broncos on Sept. 7, Nick Suss of The Tennessean reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley has missed practice time during training camp with what the Titans have termed as "general soreness," but it doesn't sound like his availability for the start of the regular season is in question. Ridley played 11 offensive snaps in the Titans' preseason opener and caught all three of his targets for 50 yards. He's expected to command the lion's share of the targets in Tennessee's passing game this season.
Aug 19, 2025
Not practicing Tuesday
Ridley is dealing with some soreness and won't practice Tuesday, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Titans coach Brian Callahan didn't say what part of Ridley's body is affected. The veteran wideout has otherwise been healthy throughout offseason practice and training camp, getting plenty of reps to build chemistry with rookie quarterback Cameron Ward.
Aug 15, 2025
Not slated to play Friday
Ridley isn't in line to play in Friday's preseason contest against the Falcons, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The same applies to Tyler Lockett, as the Titans elect to play it safe with a pair of their key veteran wideouts. Ridley's next opportunity to see game action will arrive next Friday in the team's preseason finale against the Vikings.
Aug 9, 2025
Clicking with Ward
Ridley recorded three receptions on three targets for 50 yards in Saturday's 29-7 preseason loss to the Buccaneers.
ANALYSIS
Ridley played two offensive possessions, with Cameron Ward under center for both. He was a key contributor to the latter drive, connecting with Ward for gains of 27, 13 and 10 yards, easily leading the team in receiving yards. Ridley will almost certainly remain Ward's primary target come the regular season, and their connection got off to a positive start Saturday.
Jul 30, 2025
Walks off due to cramps Wednesday
Ridley was unable to finish Wednesday's practice due to his right calf cramping up Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley continued to demonstrate a strong rapport with rookie quarterback Cam Ward prior to his departure, which occurred near the end of practice. The No. 1 wideout held his calf after a play and left the field to be evaluated by Tennessee's medical staff, though wide receiver coach Tyke Tolbert confirmed Ridley was only dealing with cramps, per Nick Suss and Nick Gray of the Nashville Tennessean. While it's possible the Titans take precautions and give Ridley a rest day Thursday, the veteran wideout doesn't appear to be dealing with any actual injury. The 30-year-old is locked in as Ward's unquestioned top target this season, putting him in prime position to tally a third consecutive 1,000-yard campaign, with the hope of increased produciton due to improved O-line and QB play.
Jul 28, 2025
Showing rapport with Ward
Ridley caught several deep passes from Cameron Ward during Saturday's practice, Nick Suss of The Tennessean reports.
ANALYSIS
Ward aired out several deep pass attempts during the practice session, hitting Ridley on a 40-yard shot as he was covered by Roger McCreary. Ridley also made a diving catch later on another deep route, displaying rapport early on in camp with his rookie quarterback. Given the projected improved offensive line and quarterback play around him in 2025, Ridley should be in a good position to post his third consecutive 1,000 receiving-yard season.
Jul 11, 2025
Expectations rise for 2025
Ridley is reenergized for his second year with the Titans after the team selected Cam Ward with the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley had a successful opening season with the Titans, surpassing 1,000 receiving yards for the third time in his career. That achievement was made more impressive by the fact that he suffered from inconsistent quarterback play from Will Levis and Mason Rudolph, something that the team hopes to have remedied with the selection of Ward. Wyatt noted that Ridley has taken to mentoring the rookie quarterback, developing rapport with him that could translate to more production come the regular season.
Jan 5, 2025
Reaches milestone with TEN
Ridley recorded three receptions on five targets for 76 yards in Sunday's 23-14 loss to the Texans. He added two rushes for negative three yards.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was held quiet for much of the game, though he broke free for two big gains of 24 and 39 yards just before halftime and the end of the game, respectively. That pushed him over 1,000 receiving yards on the season and also one yard over his total from the 2023 campaign. Ridley will likely be back to lead the Tennessee receiving corps in 2025, and he could see improved results with a rookie quarterback likely leading the offense.
Dec 29, 2024
Produces late in loss
Ridley recorded five receptions on six targets for 84 yards in Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Jaguars. He added one rush for seven yards.
ANALYSIS
The entire Tennessee offense struggled to get going and the team had only 37 net passing yards entering halftime. As a result, Ridley's slow start to the game was unsurprising, though he managed to come alive in the second half with long catches of 24,20 and 19 yards. He needs 59 receiving yards in a Week 18 matchup against the Texans to top 1,000 for the second consecutive campaign.
Dec 22, 2024
Scores long TD in loss
Ridley brought in three of five targets for 78 yards and a touchdown in the Titans' 38-30 loss to the Colts on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Ridley finished second in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the afternoon for the Titans, adding his first touchdown catch since Week 10 on a 38-yard grab with just under eight minutes remaining in the first quarter. The veteran speedster's yardage total was also his highest since Week 12, and he seemed to have solid rapport with new starter Mason Rudolph overall. Ridley will have a chance to target the suspect secondary of his old Jaguars squad in a Week 17 road clash.
Dec 16, 2024
Quiet against Bengals
Ridley recorded three receptions on five targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 37-27 loss to the Bengals. He added one rush for 19 yards.
ANALYSIS
Ridley saw his fewest targets since Week 4, though he still made explosive plays with the ball in his hand. He tallied long receptions of 21 and 16 yards and supplemented that with a 19-yard rush off the right end late in the third quarter. Even so, Ridley has 60 or fewer yards from scrimmage in four of his last five games.
Dec 8, 2024
Plenty of volume against Jags
Ridley recorded seven receptions on 12 targets for 59 yards in Sunday's 10-6 loss to the Jaguars.
ANALYSIS
Ridley dominated opportunity in the passing game as no other Titans pass catcher saw more than four targets. That didn't lead to a great stat line, and Ridley ultimately needed a long 30-yard reception midway through the fourth quarter to have even a mediocre performance. He also drew negative attention for stepping out of bounds on a third down play while seemingly having the chance to turn upfield to get past the sticks. The Titans failed to convert on the next play, ending Tennessee's best chance to win the game. Overall, Ridley has been held below 60 receiving yards in three of his last four matchups.
Dec 2, 2024
Can't convert opportunities
Ridley recorded two receptions on seven targets for 45 yards in Sunday's 42-19 loss to the Commanders.
ANALYSIS
Ridley had been on a strong run of production, though this performance was reminiscent of his struggles earlier in the campaign. He struggled to get on the same page as Will Levis on both long and short-distance targets, with his only catches going for 30 and 15 yards. Positively, Ridley continues to get plenty of opportunities, as he now has at least seven targets in six of his last eight contests.
Nov 28, 2024
Practices fully Thursday
Ridley (ankle) practiced fully Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley sat out Wednesday's session, but his return to a full practice one day later sets the stage for the wideout to be available for Sunday's game against the Commanders. Through 11 games to date, Ridley -- who has scored three TDs in that span -- leads the Titans pass catchers in receptions (41), targets (80) and receiving yards (634). He figures to remain busy once again this weekend on the heels of a 5/93/0 effort (on six targets) in Tennessee's 32-27 win over the Texans in Week 12.
Nov 28, 2024
Back at practice
Ridley (ankle) returned to practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After missing Wednesday's session, Ridley's return to the field a day later bodes well for his availability for Sunday's game against the Commanders. The Titans' upcoming injury report will reveal the wideout's participation level, but so far there's nothing to suggest that Ridley is in danger of being out this weekend.
Nov 27, 2024
Doesn't practice Wednesday
Ridley (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was on the field for 79 percent of the Titans' snaps on offense in the team's 32-27 Week 12 win over the Texans en route to recording a 5/93/0 receiving line on six targets. The wideout's non-participation in Wednesday's practice makes his status worth tracking in advance of Sunday's game against the Commanders, but so far there's been nothing to suggest that Ridley's Week 13 status is in danger.
Nov 24, 2024
Tallies 93 yards
Ridley recorded five receptions on six targets for 93 yards in Sunday's 32-27 win over the Texans.
ANALYSIS
Ridley saw only six targets for the second consecutive week as both Tyler Boyd and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine earned increased usage in the Tennessee offense. However, his role as the big-play threat remains intact as he broke free for a 63-yard catch early in the second quarter. Ridley now has at least one reception of 20 yards in six consecutive games while also topping 70 receiving yards in four of his last five contests.
Nov 22, 2024
No injury designation for Week 12
Ridley (illness) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Texans, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley missed practice Wednesday due to an illness, but he isn't expected to face any restrictions Sunday after returning to full practice participation Thursday and Friday. He has excelled since the Titans traded away DeAndre Hopkins, with 358 receiving yards and two touchdowns in four subsequent games.
Nov 21, 2024
Turns in full practice
Ridley (illness) was a full practice participant Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was held out of the Titans' first Week 12 practice due to the illness, but he felt well enough to take every rep in practice a day later to clear up most of the concern about his availability for Sunday's game against the Texans. After being contained for just three catches over a three-game stretch from Weeks 3 through 6, Ridley has been a more reliable contributor for fantasy managers over the ensuing five weeks, producing a 27-400-2 receiving line on 47 targets during that stretch.
Nov 20, 2024
Not practicing Wednesday
Ridley (illness) won't practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
While Ridley won't practice Wednesday, head coach Brian Callahana noted that the wideout is expected back for Thursday's session. Assuming he's available Sunday versus the Texans, Ridley will be in line to continue to lead a Tennessee wideout corps in Week 12 that will also feature Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Tyler Boyd.
Nov 17, 2024
Gains 58 yards in loss
Ridley brought in four of six targets for 58 yards in Sunday's 23-13 loss to the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was unable to replicate his big scoring day from a week prior, but he still churned out a modest receiving line Sunday. The 29-year-old's fantasy value has taken a hit overall since joining the Titans with a 36-541-3 receiving line through 10 games. Ridley still offers enough juice for those in deeper formats, or even as a Week 12 bye replacement in standard leagues against the Texans next Sunday.
Nov 10, 2024
Two touchdowns in loss
Ridley recorded five receptions on nine targets for 84 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Ridley increased his production with Mason Rudolph under center across the past three games, but he managed his best performance of the season with Will Levis back under center. He began the contest in impressive form by catching a deep 41-yard touchdown on the Titans' opening possession after he broke free from coverage over the middle of the field. Ridley's second score came in garbage time, but he still easily paced the Titans in targets, receptions and yards. His production could be volatile to close the campaign, but his ability to produce with Levis back under center was encouraging.
Nov 4, 2024
Keeps momentum
Ridley recorded five receptions on eight targets for 73 yards in Sunday's 20-17 overtime win over the Patriots.
ANALYSIS
Ridley remained a focal point of the Tennessee offense and has now drawn at least eight targets in four consecutive games. His production in that span has varied widely, though he managed a 25-yard gain early in the second quarter while also accounting for 30 yards on two catches on Tennessee's game-winning drive in overtime. While he hasn't scored since Week 2 and has only one 100-yard performance for the season, Ridley's production has generally trended positively as the campaign has progressed.

Churns out full practice
Ridley (shoulder) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley's return to a full practice a day after sitting out Wednesday's session suggests that his shoulder injury won't be anything that keeps him from playing this Sunday against the Patriots. The 29-year-old wideout has endured a tough first season in Tennessee, but he turned in his best game to date in the Titans' 52-14 loss to Detroit this past Sunday, when he recorded 10 catches for 143 yards on 15 targets. Ridley generated the big line while Mason Rudolph was under center for Tennessee, but the veteran receiver could be operating in Week 9 with Will Levis (shoulder) as his quarterback. Levis has missed the Titans' last two games and remains a limited participant in practice, but head coach Brian Callahan has suggested that the starting job will belong to Levis once he's fully healthy.
Oct 30, 2024
Held out with shoulder injury
Ridley missed Wednesday's practice with a shoulder injury.
ANALYSIS
Ridley handled 80 percent snap share and 92 percent route share in Sunday's 52-14 loss at Detroit, catching 10 of 15 targets for 143 yards. There's no indication of his shoulder injury being serious, but another absence Thursday would create some doubt about Ridley's availability for a home game against the Patriots this Sunday. Out of his 326 receiving yards this season, 36.2 percent came in the first quarter of the blowout loss to Detroit.
Oct 28, 2024
Finally gets on track
Ridley recorded 10 receptions on 15 targets for 143 yards in Sunday's 52-14 loss to the Lions.
ANALYSIS
The Titans have been doing everything they can to get Ridley the ball, as he entered Sunday's game with only three catches across 17 targets in the last two games. His outlook brightened a bit in Sunday's loss thanks to big gains of 47 and 26 yards while showing at least some modest rapport with Mason Rudolph. Given the state of the Titans' offense, it's difficult to trust Ridley moving forward despite the positive outcome.
Oct 25, 2024
Cleared to face Lions
Ridley (foot) practiced fully Friday and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Ridley's status was looking iffy after consecutive absences from practice Wednesday and Thursday, but he has gained clearance to suit up for an enticing matchup with a Detroit defense that's allowing the most yards per game in the league to wide receivers. Ridley has caught only five of 23 targets over his last four games, but he'll be the clear No. 1 option in Tennessee's receiving corps after DeAndre Hopkins was traded to Kansas City earlier in the week.
Oct 25, 2024
Back at practice
Ridley (foot) returned to practice Friday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, so his presence at Friday's session is a good sign ahead of Sunday's game against the Lions. The Titans' upcoming injury report is destined to reveal whether Ridley heads into the weekend with an injury designation or cleared to face Detroit.
Oct 24, 2024
Still not practicing
Ridley (foot) remained sidelined at practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley missed Wednesday's practice, so what the wideout is able to do Friday will be pivotal with regard to his chances of playing against the Lions on Sunday. With DeAndre Hopkins having been traded to the Chiefs, Ridley has a chance to pick up the pace in terms of his production in the coming weeks, but first he'll need to move past his foot issue.
Oct 23, 2024
Misses practice with foot injury
Ridley missed Wednesday's practice with a foot injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley handled his usual workload in a 34-10 loss at Buffalo on Sunday, leading the Titans in targets (nine) and route share (77 percent) but catching just three passes for 42 yards. DeAndre Hopkins getting traded to the Chiefs could lead to a few more targets in Ridley's direction, although volume has been the least of his problems in a dismal Tennessee offense.
Oct 21, 2024
Shows mild improvement
Ridley recorded three receptions on nine targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Ridley voiced frustration following a Week 6 loss during which he failed to record a reception on eight targets. He remained highly inefficient in Sunday's loss, though he did manage his highest yardage since Week 2. Even with strong opportunity on a weekly basis, Ridley will be unreliable until the Titans' offense shows some signs of improvement.
Oct 13, 2024
Comes up empty on eight targets
Ridley failed to come up with any of his eight targets and rushed once for nine yards in the Titans' 20-17 loss to the Colts on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Ridley logged a team-high target total but somehow failed to come up with any of the passes thrown his way. The veteran is mired in a forgettable three-game stretch during which he's posted a combined 2-14 line on 14 targets, and Will Levis' failure to develop any consistent rapport with the valued offseason addition could help spur a quarterback change to Mason Rudolph ahead of a Week 7 road matchup against the Bills.
Sep 30, 2024
Second straight dud Week 4
Ridley caught one of three targets for five yards and added a 10-yard rush in Monday's 31-12 win over the Dolphins.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was a non-factor for a second consecutive game. After starting his Titans tenure with 137 scrimmage yards and a touchdown through two games, Ridley has just 24 scrimmage yards in the last two games heading into a Week 5 bye. Ridley will try to get back on track in Week 6 against the Colts, though it remains to be seen if he'll be catching passes from Will Levis (shoulder) or Mason Rudolph, the latter of whom had 85 passing yards after replacing the injured Levis in the first quarter Monday.
Sep 22, 2024
Disappears against Green Bay
Ridley recorded one catch on three targets for nine yards in Sunday's 30-14 loss to the Packers.
ANALYSIS
Ridley had managed decent production despite Will Levis's incompetence for the first two weeks of the season, though he made no impact in Sunday's loss. His lone catch of the game came midway through the third quarter and did set up one of Tennesse's touchdowns. Ridley and all of the Titans' pass catchers are likely to remain volatile due to Levis's inconsistent play.
Sep 15, 2024
Two TDs in loss
Ridley brought in four of six targets for 77 yards and a touchdown and rushed once for 10 yards and another score in the Titans' 24-17 loss to the Jets on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The highlight of Ridley's afternoon came on a late third-quarter touchdown grab down the right sideline, when the veteran wideout somehow came down with a Will Levis pass in traffic at the two-yard line and found his way into the end zone. Ridley was solely responsible for Tennessee's other end-zone visit as well, scoring on a 10-yard end around late in the first quarter. Despite Levis' average play thus far, Ridley has drawn 13 targets and parlayed them into a 7-127-1 line, in addition to the rushing TD. Ridley will aim to keep up the strong start in a Week 3 home matchup against the Packers.
Sep 9, 2024
Struggles despite seven targets
Ridley recorded three receptions on seven targets for 50 yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Bears.
ANALYSIS
Ridley made his Titans debut and led the team with seven targets and 50 yards. However, he and Will Levis still struggled to connect on several deep targets, which led to an inefficient performance overall. It's also unclear if he will be able to keep his target advantage over the rest of the wide receiver corps, as DeAndre Hopkins played only 24.6 percent of offensive snaps in Sunday's contest, per Turron Davenport of ESPN.com.
Aug 25, 2024
Two catches in preseason finale
Ridley caught two of three targets for 39 yards in Sunday's 30-27 preseason win over the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Ridley and the rest of Tennessee's first-team offense played the first two drives. After signing a four-year, $92 million contract with the Titans in March, Ridley's expected to work as the top target for second-year quarterback Will Levis in the regular season. Ridley's healthy heading into the Sept. 8 regular-season opener against the Bears, but it remains to be seen if fellow starting wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee) will recover in time to suit up Week 1.
Aug 10, 2024
Makes splash play in TEN debut
Ridley had one reception off of two targets for 22 yards in Saturday's 17-13 preseason win over the 49ers.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was able to rip off a big gain with his new club when he took a short pass and made a couple of defenders miss in the open field. The 30-year-old wound up seeing two of starting quarterback Will Levis' five targets in the exhibition win. The Titans were without the services of DeAndre Hopkins (knee) on Saturday, who is expected to miss at least a few more weeks with a knee injury. Ridley handled the No. 1 wideout role in the veteran's stead, but he figures to start alongside Nuk once the latter is cleared to return.
Aug 7, 2024
Working on rapport with Levis
Coach Brian Callahan said Wednesday that the deep-ball relationship between Will Levis and Ridley needs improvement, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It's not time to panic this early in camp as Levis has had relatively few reps as a pro and Ridley is new to Tennessee. However, this report still raises some concern, because Ridley was among the league leaders in deep targets and air yards last season. Meanwhile, Levis led the league in air yards per attempt. That combination suggests that the duo should be productive on deep shots down the field. Callahan did note that the duo is working hard to correct the shortcoming, including watching game film of other quarterbacks and wide receivers around the league.
Mar 26, 2024
May be used like Ja'Marr Chase
Titans coach Brian Callahan told ESPN's Kevin Clark that he envisions Ridley's role as being "very similar" to what Ja'Marr Chase did for the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
Chase is bigger, stronger and probably also faster, not to mention being paired with franchise QB Joe Burrow rather than the unknown of Titans QB Will Levis. Still, it's promising that Callahan hopes to mimic Chase's usage from his time as offensive coordinator in Cincinnati, where the 2021 fifth overall pick got a lot of easy receptions the past two years, including 35 targets behind the line of scrimmage in 2023 (tied for second most among WRs). Ridley saw eight passes behind the line last season and got only 22 percent of his targets between the numbers, whereas Chase drew 44 percent of his looks in the middle part of the field. The Titans do have other solid options for screens and quick passes, with Ridley joined by WRs DeAndre Hopkin and Treylon Burks, TE Chigoziem Okonkwo and RBs Tyjae Spears and Tony Pollard
Mar 13, 2024
Landing in Tennessee
The Titans and Ridley agreed to terms Wednesday on a four-year, $92 million contract, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was initially reported to be choosing between New England and Jacksonville as potential landing spots in free agency, but he now becomes the new No. 1 wideout for second-year quarterback Will Levis (foot) in Tennessee. His deal reportedly includes $50 million guaranteed, a notable sign of long-term confidence. Last season, in his first NFL action since 2021, Ridley put together a 76-1,016-8 receiving line while playing in all 17 regular-season games for the Jaguars. His speed and route-running prowess will nicely complement fellow wideouts DeAndre Hopkins and Treylon Burks, providing the Titans with a solid three-receiver corps alongside new top running back Tony Pollard and third-year tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo.
Mar 12, 2024
Deciding between Jags and Pats
Ridley's current contract negotiations have narrowed down to the Jaguars and Patriots as two potential landing spots, Jeff Howe of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley would reportedly prefer to return to Jacksonville, per Adam Schefter of ESPN, but New England appears to be making a strong push for his services. The 29-year-old wideout managed a 76-1,016-8 receiving line across 17 regular-season games with the Jaguars in 2023, his first NFL action since 2021, and it's possible that another offseason to build chemistry with Trevor Lawrence could allow Ridley to truly become the No. 1 option he was billed as last season. In New England, Ridley would immediately step up as the top dog with JuJu Smith-Schuster (ankle) and Kendrick Bourne (knee) ready to operate as complementary options, but potentially have his fantasy ceiling capped by having to pair with either Jacoby Brissett or a rookie, should the Patriots select one in April's draft, under center.
Mar 11, 2024
Not ruled out for Jags
The Jaguars hope to re-sign Ridley despite reaching an agreement with fellow wide receiver Gabe Davis on Monday, Jeff Howe of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
That may be so, but the signing of Davis decreases the odds of Ridley staying in Jacksonville. If the team somehow ends up with both guys, Zay Jones' chances of sticking around for the final year of his contract would be close to nil. Jones has a non-guaranteed $7 million base salary and another $1 million in non-guaranteed bonuses.
Feb 19, 2024
May stay in Jacksonville
The Jaguars are expected to make a strong push to re-sign Ridley, who can become an unrestricted free agent in March, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley's first shot at free agency would come three months after his 29th birthday. He was on the old side for his draft class (2018 first round), got suspended for all of 2022 and then played out 2023 under the fifth-year option on his rookie contract. He wasn't quite the dominant No. 1 option the Jaguars (and many fantasy drafters) had been hoping for in 2023, but he did play all 17 games en route to a 76-1,016-8 receiving line on 136 targets (55.9 percent catch rate, 7.5 YPT). It was enough for the Jaguars to likely offer him a new contract before the start of free agency, though not enough that the team would be willing to make him one of the best-paid WRs in the league. He can start negotiating with other teams March 11 if nothing gets done with Jacksonville before then.
Jan 7, 2024
Big performance in Week 18 loss
Ridley recorded six receptions on 10 targets for 106 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-20 loss to the Titans.
ANALYSIS
Ridley finished second on the team in targets, but he paced Jacksonville in yardage thanks to four catches of more than 11 yards. His biggest contribution of the day came early in the second quarter on a 59-yard touchdown reception on which he beat the Titans' secondary over the top for his eighth score of the year. Ridley narrowly missed a bigger game, as he beat Tennessee's defense for a second time late in the game only to see the ball slip through his hands on a slightly overthrown ball. His season was inconsistent, but Ridley still managed the second 1,000 yard effort of his career and now has at least eight touchdowns in three of his five campaigns.
Jan 1, 2024
Quiet day in win
Ridley secured four of eight targets for 39 yards in the Jaguars' 26-0 win over the Panthers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Ridley led the Jaguars in targets, checked in second in receptions and ranked third in receiving yards. The speedy veteran's underwhelming numbers weren't entirely surprising considering C.J. Beathard was at quarterback in place of Trevor Lawrence (shoulder), and Jacksonville didn't exactly have to be aggressive with the Panthers' lackluster offense on the other side. Ridley could encounter more success irrespective of who's under center when the Jaguars close out the regular season on the road against the vulnerable Titans pass defense.
Dec 24, 2023
Catches two second-half touchdowns
Ridley caught six of nine targets for 90 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 30-12 loss to Tampa Bay. He suffered a loss of 12 yards on his lone rushing attempt.
ANALYSIS
Ridley finally broke out with a huge fantasy score after managers were forced to endure three weeks of inefficient play. Jacksonville's top wideout scored both of his touchdowns in the second half of Sunday's loss, but the second came from the arm of backup quarterback C.J. Beathard after Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) left the game with a shoulder injury. The latter was already playing through a high-ankle sprain before injuring his shoulder, so Ridley's production may not take as big of a hit as it normally would have if the Jaguars' backup QB is forced to start against the Panthers next Sunday.
Dec 18, 2023
Another inefficient game
Ridley finished with five receptions and 39 yards off of 12 targets in Sunday's 23-7 loss to Baltimore.
ANALYSIS
Ridley posted a similarly inffefficient stat line to last week's four-catch, 53-yards performance off of 13 targets. The lack of Christian Kirk (groin) has resulted in back-to-back games with double-digit targets for Ridley after reaching that total just twice in his previous 12 contests. Despite the increased attention, the results haven't been there for the wideout since quarterback Trevor Lawrence suffered, and continues to play through, a high-ankle sprain back in Week 13. That said, Ridley is still a viable starting option for next Sunday's tilt against Tampa Bay based on his target volume alone.
Dec 10, 2023
Little production with 13 targets
Ridley recorded four receptions on 13 targets for 53 yards in Sunday's 31-27 loss to the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Ridley benefitted from the absence of Christian Kirk (groin) and saw a season-high 13 targets. However, he struggled to produce, as he averaged only 4.1 yards per target with a long gain of just 16 yards. Ridley's efficiency should have the chance to rebound in future weeks as Trevor Lawrence's (ankle) health improves and in easier matchups. That may not come in Week 15, however, as the Jaguars draw a tough matchup against the stingy Baltimore secondary.
Dec 5, 2023
Quiet night as QB gets hurt
Ridley caught four of eight targets for 26 yards while rushing three times for seven yards in Monday's 34-31 overtime loss to the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was tackled on the 1-yard line on a third-quarter catch, narrowly missing his fourth touchdown in the last three games. The talented receiver had been playing his best football of the season in recent weeks, but the wind was taken out of Ridley's sails by Trevor Lawrence's fourth-quarter ankle injury. Ridley officially had just one catch for minus-4 yards in C.J. Beathard's two drives after replacing Lawrence under center, though he had a 43-yard catch wiped out by a holding penalty in overtime. The Jaguars could be without both Lawrence and Christian Kirk (groin) -- who exited on the opening drive Monday -- for their Week 14 trip to Cleveland, which could lead to extra attention for Ridley from both Beathard and the Browns defense.
Nov 26, 2023
Stays hot in Week 12 win
Ridley caught five of six targets for 89 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 24-21 win over the Texans. He also caught a two-point conversion.
ANALYSIS
Ridley caught consecutive passes in the end zone with Jacksonville trailing 14-13 in the third quarter, as he scored a one-yard touchdown and added a two-point conversion to turn the one-point deficit into a seven-point lead. After an inconsistent start to his tenure in Jacksonville, Ridley has heated up over the past two games, scoring three touchdowns in that span while having at least a share of the team lead in receiving yards both times. He tied with Christian Kirk for the team receiving lead in this one, and Ridley will look to stay hot in Week 13 against the Bengals.
Nov 19, 2023
Finds end zone twice
Ridley recorded seven receptions on nine targets for 103 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 34-14 win over the Titans.
ANALYSIS
Ridley entered Sunday's matchup having failed to reach 100 yards or record a touchdown in four consecutive games. He took care of each of those trends with his performance, tallying touchdown catches of three and 20 yards. In addition to the scores, Ridley showed off his big-play ability by recording long receptions of 34 and 26 yards. While his results have been volatile, Ridley continues to show that he can deliver excellent stat lines when the Jaguars are in favorable matchups.
Nov 12, 2023
Held to two catches in Week 10
Ridley caught two of three targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 34-3 loss to the 49ers.
ANALYSIS
Christian Kirk led the Jaguars with 104 receiving yards, while nobody else on the team reached 30 receiving yards in the blowout loss. Ridley has failed to find consistency in his first season with Jacksonville, as he's exceeded 80 yards three times but recorded no more than 40 yards in any of the team's other six games. Ridley will look to bounce back in Week 11 against the Titans.
Oct 29, 2023
Targeted 10 times in Week 8
Ridley caught six of 10 targets for 83 yards in Sunday's 20-10 win over the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Ridley tied Evan Engram for the team lead in targets while finishing five yards shy of Engram's team-leading total. In his three best games -- including this one -- Ridley has combined for 21 catches, 306 yards and one touchdown on 29 targets, but he has just 12 catches for 145 yards and one touchdown on 29 targets across five other games. He'll remain a low-floor, high-ceiling option in Week 10 against the 49ers following Jacksonville's Week 9 bye.
Oct 20, 2023
Limited to one catch in win
Ridley rushed once for no gain and secured one of four targets for five yards in the Jaguars' 31-24 win over the Saints on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Ridley's catch and yardage totals were season lows in an utterly forgettable night for the veteran speedster. Ridley opened the season with a stellar 8-101-1 line against the Colts -- his first game action since Oct. 2021 -- but outside of a seven-reception, 122-yard tally in Week 5 against the Bills in London, he's been quiet since, even with fellow receiver Zay Jones (knee) missing multiple games. Ridley inconsistent production but high ceiling makes him a relatively frustrating asset for fantasy managers heading into a Week 8 road matchup against the Steelers.
Oct 15, 2023
Held in check in win
Ridley brought in four of eight targets for 30 yards and rushed once for minus-4 yards in the Jaguars' 37-20 win over the Colts on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Ridley finished second on the team in receptions to Evan Engram and led the Jaguars in targets, but his yardage total left plenty to be desired. The speedy veteran had just compiled a season-best 122 yards in Week 6 against the Bills in London, so Sunday's downturn was especially disappointing. Ridley will aim to atone in a Week 7 road matchup against the Saints on Thursday night.
Oct 8, 2023
Leads receiving corps
Ridley caught seven of eight targets for 122 yards during Sunday's 25-20 win against the Bills.
ANALYSIS
The 28-year-old tied for the team lead in targets and led Jacksonville in both receptions and receiving yards as Trevor Lawrence passed for more than 300 yards for the first time this season. Ridley topped 100 receiving yards in the season opener but totaled just 110 yards over the past three games, and his resurgence in production Sunday is a welcome sight after a few quiet performances.
Oct 1, 2023
Scores against former team
Ridley caught both of his targets for 38 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-7 win over the Falcons.
ANALYSIS
Ridley took advantage of busted coverage to haul in a 30-yard touchdown during the first quarter. Despite scoring against his old team, Ridley otherwise was largely shadowed by top Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell, contributing toward a third straight game with three or fewer catches and 40 or fewer receiving yards. He'll strive to improve his volume in Week 5, when the Bills travel to London to face the Jags.
Sep 24, 2023
Quiet day in upset loss
Ridley brought in three of seven targets for 40 yards in the Jaguars' 37-17 loss to the Texans on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Ridley had about as uneven a day as the rest of the Jaguars' air attack, leading to his second straight underwhelming performance following an 8-101-1 line in Week 1. The veteran speedster has particularly had trouble with his efficiency in the last pair of contests, now having brought in just five of 15 targets in that span. The amount of Trevor Lawrence's attention that he's garnering is encouraging, however, and he'll aim to put together a resurgent effort across the pond in a Week 4 matchup against the Falcons in London.
Sep 17, 2023
Quiet in Week 2
Ridley caught two of eight targets for 32 yards in Sunday's 17-9 loss to Kansas City.
ANALYSIS
Ridley drew more defensive attention after topping 100 yards in his Jacksonville debut, and he was held in check this time while Christian Kirk led the team with 11 catches for 110 yards on 14 targets. Trevor Lawrence has thrown for just 457 yards through two games, so it's possible that Ridley and Kirk could be productive simultaneously once the talented third-year quarterback finds his groove. Doing so may not be easy in Week 3 against a Houston team that held Lawrence without a passing touchdown in two 2022 meetings.
Sep 10, 2023
Huge performance in return
Ridley caught eight of 11 targets for 101 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-21 win over the Colts.
ANALYSIS
Playing in his first NFL game since Oct. 2021, Ridley made an immediate impact as he caught four passes on the Jaguars' first scoring drive, including a nine-yard TD toss from Trevor Lawrence. The former Falcon ended up being Lawrence's top target, and Ridley doesn't seem to have lost a step at all despite his long layoff. Next up for Jacksonville is a Week 2 clash with a Kansas City defense that had trouble slowing down Amon-Ra St. Brown in a Week 1 loss to the Lions.
Aug 26, 2023
Caps off preseason in style
Ridley brought in all three targets for 50 yards in the Jaguars' 31-18 preseason win over the Dolphins on Saturday night.
ANALYSIS
Ridley tied for the team lead in receptions while recording a pair of 11-yard grabs, as well as a 28-yard catch that took the ball down to the Dolphins' three-yard line. The 28-year-old has impressed all summer after having missed nearly two full seasons due to a gambling-related suspension, and he appears poised to serve as an integral part of a deep Jaguars air attack beginning with an AFC South road matchup versus the Colts on Sunday, Sept. 10.
Aug 12, 2023
Looks sharp after lengthy layoff
Ridley caught both of his targets for 21 yards in Saturday's preseason win over the Cowboys.
ANALYSIS
Ridley made his first appearance in an NFL game since Week 7 of the 2021 season, back when he was still a member of the Atlanta Falcons. The 2018 first-round pick looked refreshed after the lengthy, non-injury related layoff, catching both targets from his new quarterback Trevor Lawrence before exiting with the rest of the starters. Ridley's talent is unquestioned, and he appears to be happy in Jacksonville, so we could be in store for a bounce-back season from the 26-year-old. The last time Ridley played a full year in the NFL, he posted a 90/1374/9 receiving line with the Falcons in 2020.
Aug 2, 2023
Toe issue related to cleats
The toe issue that Ridley was dealing with was related to the cleats the wideout had been wearing, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The report notes that Ridley has switched cleats and that's expected to solve the issue. Though the wideout was in line to be limited at Wednesday's practice, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union relays that Ridley was able to join team drills. The 2018 first-rounder, who didn't play last season while serving a suspension for violating the NFL's gambling policy, has been "one of the top players of camp thus far" for the Jaguars, according to Harvey.
Aug 2, 2023
Limited with minor toe injury
Ridley will be limited at Wednesday's practice due to a toe injury that isn't considered serious, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley missed portions of Tuesday's practice and could be on a similar schedule Wednesday. "He'll be fine," said Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson Wednesday morning. "We were sort of cautionary with [Ridley] yesterday. He'll be back out there today and we'll just monitor him and limit the amount of running that he'll do."
Aug 1, 2023
Limited Tuesday
Ridley (undisclosed) sat out portions of Tuesday's practice, the Jaguars' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Per news4jax.com, midway through Tuesday's session, Ridley stopped participating in drills and headed over to sit in the team's cool tent. Though the wideout subsequently rejoined his teammates, Ridley didn't return to the field. With that in mind, it appears as though the 28-year-old's limitations weren't injury-related and chances are, he'll be back in action the next time the Jaguars take the field.
Jul 27, 2023
Looking good in practice
Ridley is making a strong impression on teammates at training camp and told reporters he hasn't lost a step, John Oehser of Jaguars.com reports.
ANALYSIS
A slew of Jacksonville beat writers have praised Ridley's speed and route running, further fueling the considerable hype that's been building since the Falcons traded him to the Jaguars last fall. He's 21 months removed from his last NFL appearance, but it's easy enough to see why it's become increasingly rare for Ridley to make it past the third round of fantasy drafts. He's 28 years old, topped 1,300 yards in his last full season and now will catch passes from third-year pro Trevor Lawrence.
May 30, 2023
Getting eased back into action
Speaking Tuesday, coach Doug Pederson said the Jaguars are limiting Ridley's reps at OTAs as a way to ease him back into football shape, ESPN's Michael DiRocco reports.
ANALYSIS
Pederson said Ridley will be limited at OTAs and minicamp before gaining full clearance for training camp in July. "He hasn't played in a while plus the injury, so we're just trying to be careful with him," Pederson said. "But he's doing a great job. He's picking up the offense well." Ridley hasn't played in a game since October of 2021 when he was injured with the Falcons before being suspended for all of the 2022 campaign. Ridley should have no problem displacing Zay Jones as the Jaguars' top weapon next to Christian Kirk.

Making strong early impression
Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson was "impressed" by Ridley after the first practice of OTAs on Monday and said, "he's been here, he's been focused, engaged, doing the things we've asked him to do," Demetrius Harvey of the Florida Times-Union reports.
ANALYSIS
The 28-year-old was suspended for the entire 2022 campaign for violating the league's gambling policy and played in only five games during 2021 in order to focus on his mental health, but he now appears to be in top shape after being acquired by Jacksonville in November. Pederson also indicated Ridley has been active in the offseason program, which should put him in a strong position to establish an on-field rapport with QB Trevor Lawrence ahead of training camp.

Reinstated on Monday
The NFL announced on Monday that Ridley has been fully reinstated from his indefinite suspension, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was suspended indefinitely for gambling on the NFL while away from the Falcons during the 2021 season. He was acquired by the Jaguars last season at the trade deadline and gets a fresh start in Jacksonville where he'll likely fill the role vacated by Marvin Jones, who is a free agent this month. Ridley will slide in opposite Zay Jones on the outside, leaving Christian Kirk in the slot. Ridley is now 28 years old and hasn't played in a game since October of 2021, so initial expectations should be held in check as the 2018 first-rounder is introduced to his new team's offense, helmed by QB Trevor Lawrence.
Feb 15, 2023
Applies for reinstatement
Ridley (suspension) is applying for reinstatement Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley's application for reinstatement comes at the earliest eligible date. The wideout missed the entire 2022 season due to an indefinite suspension for betting on NFL games back in 2021. The 28-year-old was traded from Atlanta to Jacksonville mid-season in 2022, and he's wasting no time in petitioning the league to allow him to begin participating in team activities with his new club. Assuming Ridley is reinstated without issue, he will have a clear path to join Christian Kirk (knee) and Zay Jones as quarterback Trevor Lawrence's top receivers.

Reinstatement anticipated on track
Coach Doug Pederson said Monday "we feel strongly" that Ridley (suspension) will be reinstated this offseason, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
ANALYSIS
Pederson's comments confirm that Ridley's progress toward a return to football activities is proceeding as expected. The wideout is eligible to apply for reinstatement beginning Feb. 15, and provided that the NFL approves him for a return to league activities, the 28-year-old's first tangible contact with the Jaguars could come this offseason, as early as April 17. Ridley was suspended at least the entire 2022 season as the result of his betting on NFL games during a five-day stretch in November 2021, and he hasn't seen the field since. Jacksonville traded the Falcons conditional 2023 and 2024 draft picks to acquire Ridley this November.
Nov 1, 2022
Shipped to Jacksonville
The Jaguars acquired Ridley (suspension) in exchange for a 2023 fifth-round pick and a conditional 2024 fourth-round pick, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Jacksonville's decision to trade for Ridley is more of a long-term play, as the 27-year-old receiver is suspended through at least the 2022 season. Provided he's met the conditions of his suspension that stemmed from betting on NFL games during a five-day stretch in November 2021, Ridley will be eligible for reinstatement Feb. 15. Ridley has already flashed the upside of being a No. 1 receiver -- he notably turned in a 90-1,374-9 receiving line over 15 games in 2020 -- so he should help upgrade the Jacksonville passing game in 2023 if he's able to make a smooth transition back to the field following a lengthy layoff. According to Rapoport, the 2024 fourth-round pick Atlanta will receive in return could escalate to a second-round pick, presumably as a result of Ridley reaching certain playing-time or statistical markers for Jacksonville during the 2023 season.
Mar 7, 2022
Suspended for 2022 season
The league has suspended Ridley for the 2022 season for betting on NFL games, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The league's statement indicates that the wideout bet on NFL games last season during a five-day stretch in late November, while he was away from the Falcons on the reserve non-football illness list. Per Ben Baby of ESPN.com, Ridley -- who last played on Oct. 24 -- is eligible for reinstatement on Feb. 15, 2023 and has three days to appeal the suspension.
Jan 15, 2022
Not in contact with team yet
Ridley, who did not play since Week 7 to focus on his mental health, has not contacted members of the Falcons' front office regarding plans for next season, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
There's still very little information regarding Ridley's abrupt leave of absence from the Falcons and it doesn't seem as if the franchise or player has any intentions of accelerating the issue anytime soon. Garafolo even went on to say it's possible both sides could mutually seek a trade this offseason, though that's by no means something that has been confirmed by either party. The 2018 first-round pick had his $11.12 million fifth-year option exercised this past offseason, though it remains to be seen if that compensation would be fully guaranteed given that distinction is normally reserved for injury only. The 27-year-old finished the 2021 season with 31 receptions for 281 yards and two touchdowns across five games.
Dec 22, 2021
No update on possible return
Coach Arthur Smith said Wednesday that he still doesn't have an update on Ridley, who remains on the reserve/non-football injury list due to a personal matter, Scott Bair of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley has been out since Week 7 to focus on his mental well-being. At this point, he'll likely sit out the rest of the season, though nothing has been confirmed one way or the other.
Nov 22, 2021
Still no update
Coach Arthur Smith said Monday that he still doesn't have an update on Ridley's (personal) status, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was placed on the reserve/non-football injury list in early November after he stepped away from football to focus on his mental well-being. While the 26-year-old is eligible to return as early as Sunday against the Jaguars, he doesn't yet have a timetable to rejoin the team. Russell Gage, Tajae Sharpe and Olamide Zaccheus will continue to serve as Atlanta's top receivers while Ridley is sidelined.
Nov 5, 2021
Goes on NFI list, out three weeks
Atlanta placed Ridley (personal) on the reserve/Non-Football Injury list Friday.
ANALYSIS
The transaction means that Ridley won't be eligible to play for the next three weeks, making the Falcons' Nov. 28 game against the Jaguars the earliest possible return date for the wideout. Whether Ridley returns to action when first eligible Week 12 is uncertain, as the Falcons intend to give him as much time off as he needs after he acknowledged in a post on his personal Twitter account Oct. 31 that he's taking a break from football to focus on his mental wellbeing.
Oct 31, 2021
Steps away from team
Ridley (personal) announced on his personal Twitter page Sunday that he's decided "to step away from football at this time and focus on my mental health."
ANALYSIS
Ridley previously didn't travel with his teammates to London for a Week 5 matchup with the Jets with what was termed a personal matter. Since then, the Falcons had a bye week, and Ridley returned to action last Sunday at Miami. But he was included on Atlanta's inactive list this Sunday against the Panthers, again due to a personal issue. It's unclear exactly how much time he'll spend away from the team, but there's a chance a multi-game absence is in store.
Oct 31, 2021
Surprise inactive Sunday
Ridley won't play Sunday against the Panthers while he attends to a personal matter.
ANALYSIS
Ridley wasn't listed on the injury report all week, but the personal issue will prevent him from suiting up for Sunday's divisional contest. Tajae Sharpe will start in his place, while Russell Gage and tight end Kyle Pitts should see increased target shares in his absence.
Oct 24, 2021
Scores TD in return
Ridley secured four of 10 targets for 26 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons' 30-28 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Ridley and Matt Ryan couldn't link up consistently, but the veteran wideout, coming off a one-game absence for personal reasons, was able to salvage his fantasy day to an extent with a five-yard scoring grab in the second quarter. Ridley's target total was his fourth straight of the double-digit variety, further cementing him as a rock-solid fantasy options, particularly in PPR formats, on a week-to-week basis. Ridley will look to raise his efficiency in a Week 8 divisional home matchup against the reeling Panthers.
Oct 18, 2021
Returning to practice
Ridley (personal) will return to practice this week, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley sat out a Week 5 contest in London for personal reasons and the Falcons were on bye Week 6, but it looks like the star wideout is now on track to be available for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. In four appearances this season, Ridley has earned double-digit targets on three occasions and never failed to achieve at least 50 receiving yards.
Oct 7, 2021
To sit out Week 5
Ridley won't travel with the Falcons to London for Sunday's game against the Jets due to a personal matter, Scott Bair of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Along with Ridley, the Falcons will be without Russell Gage, who also won't make the trip due to an ankle injury. With his top two wide receivers out, Matt Ryan may just use his tight ends and running backs more than usual, but Atlanta's available wide receivers will be Olamide Zaccheaus, Tajae Sharpe, Christian Blake and Frank Darby.
Oct 7, 2021
Not seen at practice
Ridley wasn't in attendance for Thursday's practice, but the Falcons have yet to provide an explanation for his absence, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley didn't appear on the Falcons' initial Week 5 injury report released Wednesday, so the nature of his absence likely won't be known until the team reveals its second report later Thursday. Given that Thursdays tend to be the most rigorous session of the week for teams that play Sunday games, Ridley's absence wouldn't seem to be the result of a pre-planned maintenance day. The Falcons are scheduled to fly to London following Thursday's session and will hold their final practice of the week overseas Friday before playing the Jets on Sunday.
Oct 3, 2021
Big volume again in loss
Ridley caught seven of 13 targets for 80 yards in Sunday's 34-30 loss to Washington.
ANALYSIS
The fourth-year receiver once again led the Falcons in targets and catches, and but it was Cordarrelle Patterson who led the club in receiving yards. Ridley has seen double-digit targets in three straight games but his actual production has been a little disappointing, as Sunday's yardage was a season high and he has only one TD. Ridley will get a golden opportunity for a breakout in Week 5 at home against the Jets.
Sep 26, 2021
Team high in receptions
Ridley caught eight of 11 targets for 61 yards in Sunday's 17-14 win over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Ridley led the Falcons in receptions and targets, but besides a long gain of 20 yards, he mostly was a factor on underneath routes. Through three games, Atlanta's top wideout is yet to surpass 65 yards, but he's hauled in at least five passes each contest. After tying for fifth league-wide with 1,374 receiving yards last season, Ridley still hasn't enjoyed his breakout performance under new coach Arthur Smith, yet he remains a reliable option ahead of Week 4's matchup against Washington.
Sep 19, 2021
Finds end zone in Week 2 loss
Ridley secured seven of 10 targets for 63 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons' 48-25 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Ridley made his first 2021 trip to the end zone in the third quarter, hauling in a three-yard pass from Matt Ryan to close the Falcons' deficit to 11 points at the time. The Falcons' No. 1 wideout looked the part a bit more than during a pedestrian Week 1 effort, and he'll look to capitalize on a questionable Giants secondary in a Week 3 road battle.
Sep 12, 2021
Five grabs in Week 1 loss
Ridley brought in five of eight targets for 51 yards in the Falcons' 32-6 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Ridley did pace the Falcons in receptions and receiving yards on the afternoon while also tying Kyle Pitts for the team lead in targets. Nevertheless, his final line has to be considered a fantasy disappointment in what was the Falcons' first game of the post-Julio-Jones era. Time will tell whether Ridley is miscast as a No. 1 receiver, as it's difficult to draw any definitive conclusions from a game that got as out of hand in the second half as Sunday's did. The problem for Ridley and his offensive teammates is that matters could be even thornier in Week 2, considering a road matchup against the Buccaneers awaits.
Aug 29, 2021
Chance to play Sunday
Ridley is in uniform ahead of Sunday's preseason contest against the Browns, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It's unclear if Ridley will make his exhibition debut, but Matt Ryan and Mike Davis also are dressed, meaning the Falcons may be trotting out its first-team offense for spell in the first half. If so, we may get a peek at rookie tight end Kyle Pitts working in concert with Ridley.
Aug 21, 2021
Sitting out preseason game
Ridley will not play in Saturday's preseason game against Miami, AtlantaFalcons.com's Scott Bair reports.
ANALYSIS
The Falcons are resting many of their starters, and Ridley is as important as any. With Ridley inactive the Falcons will likely take a longer look at backup receivers such as Olamide Zaccheaus, Christian Blake, Tajae Sharpe and Frank Darby.
Aug 3, 2021
Feels good early in camp
Ridley is back at full strength and says his practice reps have been managed as part of a long-term plan, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley had minor foot surgery this spring and was held out of Atlanta's offseason program, but he doesn't appear to have any restrictions at camp, apart from the Falcons limiting his reps in anticipation of a busy season. He put up 90/1,374/9 on 143 targets last year, and with Julio Jones now out of the picture, Ridley is among the favorites to lead the NFL in targets and receiving yards.
Jul 29, 2021
Returns for first day of camp
Ridley (foot) is going through individual drills at the beginning of Thursday's practice, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.comreports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley is back on the field for the start of training camp after a minor foot surgery prevented him from participating in June minicamp. Even if the Falcons ease him into team drills, he'll have plenty of time to ramp up for Week 1 against the Eagles (Sept. 12). With Julio Jones out of the picture, Ridley is among the favorites to lead the NFL in targets this year, though new coach Arthur Smith presumably hopes to install a more balanced offense in Atlanta.
Jun 15, 2021
Expects to be ready for camp
Ridley, who underwent what has been described as minor offseason foot surgery, is "pretty sure (he'll) be ready" for the start of training camp, Michael Rothstein of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
While Ridley is not practicing at this time, he has been present at the Falcons' facility rehabbing, working out and participating in walk-throughs. With Julio Jones no longer in the mix, Ridley profiles as the team's clear-cut top wideout, a context that solidifies his already high-volume role in Atlanta's offense.
Jun 9, 2021
Undergoes minor foot surgery
Ridley recently underwent minor foot surgery, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley wasn't present for the start of minicamp for an unspecified reason, but he apparently underwent a cleanup procedure on his foot recently. He won't participate in minicamp but is expected to be ready for training camp. The 26-year-old is slated to begin the 2021 campaign as Atlanta's clear No. 1 receiver after Julio Jones was recently traded to the Titans.
Jun 6, 2021
Tops depth chart after Jones trade
Ridley's the clear No. 1 receiver in Atlanta with the team having agreed to trade Julio Jones to Tennessee, ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley had 90 catches for 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns on 143 targets last season while playing in 15 games to Jones' nine. Jones eclipsed 143 targets in all but one of the previous six seasons, topping out at 203 in 2015, and Ridley can also expect to have the ball thrown his way more frequently as the undisputed No. 1 wide receiver in Atlanta's pass-heavy offense. Ridley will have to contend with the opponent's No. 1 cornerback more often with Jones no longer in town to take away attention, but the increase in volume should more than make up for the higher difficulty of matchups.
May 3, 2021
Gets fifth year in Atlanta
The Falcons exercised Ridley's $11.12 million team option for 2022 on Monday, Gaby Moran of Atlanta's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Atlanta likely didn't have to think too hard about whether to extend Ridley's rookie contract to a fifth year after he emerged as one of the NFL's top wideouts in 2020. Following a pair of promising campaign to begin his career, Ridley earned second-team All-Pro honors last season after amassing 90 receptions for 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns. Ridley and Julio Jones will remain locked in as the Nos. 1 and 2 options in some order in a prolific Atlanta passing game that was only bolstered this offseason with the addition of No. 4 overall pick Kyle Pitts, widely viewed as one of the top pass-catching tight end draft prospects in recent memory.
Jan 3, 2021
Catches eight passes in finale
Ridley reeled in eight of his 12 targets for 52 yards, losing one fumble during Sunday's 44-27 loss to the Buccaneers.
ANALYSIS
Ridley and Russell Gage (11 targets) were the clear focal points in the passing game during Atlanta's season finale, collectively engulfing over 56 percent of the team's targets. Ridley came back to earth in the yardage department after posting an absurd 525 receiving yards over his preceding four outings entering Sunday. However, the 26-year-old's eight receptions provided him with a respectable floor in PPR formats. He blew past previous career highs this season by totaling 90 receptions for 1,374 yards and 10 total touchdowns (nine receiving, one rushing), though Ridley was not given a Pro Bowl nod during his third pro campaign. The team should have an easy time making a decision on Ridley's fifth-year option this offseason; however, an extension could potentially be in the cards, depending on the direction taken by the franchise's new general manager. Ridley is set to make roughly $2 million in 2021 on the heels of his most prolific pro campaign.
Dec 27, 2020
Eclipses 100 yards yet again
Ridley reeled in five of nine targets for 130 yards, losing seven yards on his lone rush attempt during Sunday's 17-14 loss to Kansas City.
ANALYSIS
Ridley attracted four more targets than any other Falcon during Week 16, posting his fourth consecutive 100-yard receiving output in the process. The third-year wideout continued to produce gaudy numbers Sunday with Julio Jones (hamstring) inactive for a third straight contest, as he has averaged 139 receiving yards per game with two touchdowns since Week 14. Ridley has attracted nine or more targets in six consecutive appearances as he draws a second matchup against Tampa Bay in three weeks to close out 2020. The 26-year-old racked up 10 catches for 163 yards and a TD when the division rivals faced off Week 15.
Dec 20, 2020
Posts humongous Week 15 outing
Ridley reeled in 10 of 14 targets for 163 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 31-27 loss to Tampa Bay.
ANALYSIS
On his 26th birthday, Ridley decided he would be the one handing out gifts. For those with stock in the Alabama product, he delivered a third consecutive 100-yard receiving outing and his seventh total on the season. As Julio Jones (hamstring) found himself inactive for a second straight game, Ridley expectantly dominated the target share, collecting four more looks than the next-busiest pass catcher. Atlanta's Week 16 opponent, Kansas City, will aim to slow the electrifying wideout. The Chiefs have excelled in containing opposing WRs so far this season, allowing the third-fewest catches to the position.
Dec 18, 2020
Ready for Sunday
Ridley (foot) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.
ANALYSIS
Ridley has dealt with the same foot injury for much of the season, remaining productive all the same. He should be fine to handle his usual large helping of snaps and targets, while fellow wideout Julio Jones (hamstring) won't be able to play.
Dec 17, 2020
Another limited practice
Ridley (foot) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Tori McElhaney of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley maintained his activity level from Wednesday, as did Julio Jones (hamstring), who was unable to practice yet again. If Jones needs to sit out again Sunday against the Buccaneers, Ridley would be in line to lead the Falcons' receiving corps, assuming he's able to play through his foot issue. Since the team's Week 10 bye, Ridley has notched 24 catches (on 40 targets) for 372 yards and two touchdowns over the last four games.
Dec 16, 2020
Limited by foot injury
Ridley (foot) was limited at practice Wednesday, Jason Butt of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was examined briefly by Falcons trainers during the Falcons' Week 14 loss to the Chargers, but he still handled 84 percent of the snaps on offense on his way to his second consecutive 100-yard effort. It appears a foot issue was the root cause, so his status will be one to monitor as the week goes on. Meanwhile, Julio Jones (hamstring) remained sidelined from practice Wednesday, and if he requires another absence Sunday against the Buccaneers, Ridley would be in line for another significant target count, assuming he's available.
Dec 13, 2020
Cruises past century mark, scores
Ridley corralled eight of 12 targets for 124 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was evaluated by trainers in the second half for a potential injury, but he quickly returned to continue his prolific afternoon. The third-year man had already made quite an impression through the first two quarters, reeling in a 39-yard TD strike from fellow wideout Russell Gage to kick off the scoring for Atlanta, while racking up a total of 95 yards by halftime. If Julio Jones (hamstring) is forced to sit a second consecutive game Week 15, Ridley would remain the unquestioned No. 1 target for a matchup against the Buccaneers.
Dec 6, 2020
Breaks century mark against Saints
Ridley collected five of 10 targets for 108 yards during Sunday's 21-16 loss to New Orleans.
ANALYSIS
Ridley and Julio Jones each commanded 10 targets on the afternoon, but by recording four different receptions of 18-plus yards, the third-year man was able to edge out Jones for the team high in receiving yards. The 25-year-old has been a consistent high-floor option this season, with 90-plus yards or a touchdown in nine of his 11 appearances. Week 14 presents a less than ideal matchup for Ridley and the Atlanta WR corps, however, with the opposing Chargers entering play Sunday allowing an NFL-low 123 receptions to wideouts.
Dec 4, 2020
Good to go Sunday
Ridley (foot/ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Saints, Katherine Terrell of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley's two injuries limited his activity in practices Wednesday through Friday, but the fact that the Falcons aren't even labeling him as questionable for the Week 13 contest implies that neither the foot nor the ankle issue is a significant concern. Fellow wideout Julio Jones (hamstring) was also unable to practice in full at any point this week, and though he's listed as questionable, he too expects to play. During the Falcons' Week 11 matchup with New Orleans, Ridley and Jones combined for a modest seven receptions for 119 yards, but the wideout tandem could be in store for bigger games in the rematch with the Saints down starting cornerback Janoris Jenkins (knee).
Dec 3, 2020
Limited again Thursday
Ridley (foot/ankle) was limited at Thursday's practice, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley maintained his activity for a second consecutive day, while Julio Jones (hamstring) followed up Wednesday's limited session with no practice Thursday. With Jones sidelined this past Sunday versus the Raiders, Ridley hauled in six of nine targets for 50 yards and a touchdown. Heavy volume could be in store for Ridley again Week 13 against the Saints if Jones sits out another game.
Dec 2, 2020
Limited in practice Wednesday
Ridley (foot/ankle) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley has regularly been limited at practice since sitting out Week 9 due to a mid-foot sprain, and D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that interim coach Raheem Morris said that the third-year wideout will handle his usual amount of reps this week. He was briefly forced out of last Sunday's win over the Raiders due to his foot/ankle issues, but managed to return just two plays later.
Nov 29, 2020
Notches TD, leads team in receiving
Ridley secured six of nine targets for 50 receiving yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 43-6 win against the Raiders.
ANALYSIS
The third-year receiver was limited throughout the practice week because of a foot issue, but he contributed Atlanta's first TD Sunday in what turned out to be a laugher. Ridley was the unquestioned No. 1 pass-catching option, pacing Atlanta in targets, receptions and receiving yards while Julio Jones sat out with a hamstring injury. Entering Week 12, Ridley had gone for 110-plus receiving yards in both games Jones was inactive this season (Weeks 3 and 5). We will have to wait and see on Jones' status for a Week 13 home game against New Orleans. Ridley has fared well both with and without Jones in the lineup this year. He needs just 70 receiving yards to establish a new season best of 867.
Nov 29, 2020
Poised for additional volume
Ridley will take on a bigger role in the Falcons offense Sunday versus the Raiders with Julio Jones (hamstring) sidelined, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley has been targeted 10 or more times in four games this season, and two of those occurred with Jones out of the lineup. In those contests -- Week 3 versus the Bears and Week 5 against the Panthers -- Ridley combined for 13 catches, 246 yards and no touchdowns on 23 targets. Facing the Raiders' 28th-ranked pass defense (273.6 yards per game) should be a boon for Ridley's Week 12 prospects.
Nov 27, 2020
Fine to face Raiders
Ridley (foot) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Las Vegas, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ANALYSIS
Meanwhile, Julio Jones (hamstring) is listed as questionable after missing Friday's practice. Ridley could see a couple extra targets if his teammate doesn't play, though his numbers have actually been a bit better in the games Jones has played this year.
Nov 26, 2020
Another limited practice
Ridley (foot) was listed as limited on Thursday's estimated injury report, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley's practice reps continue to be capped as he attempts to get over a mid-foot sprain, which sidelined him Week 9. He proceeded to suit up this past Sunday in New Orleans, hauling in five of nine passes for 90 yards in the process. Friday's injury report may clear up his availability for a Week 12 matchup with the Raiders.
Nov 25, 2020
Limited at practice Wednesday
Ridley (foot) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley sat out Week 9 due to a mid-foot sprain, but after Atlanta's ensuing bye, he reeled off five catches (on nine targets) for 90 yards in this past Sunday's loss at New Orleans. While the cap on his reps Wednesday may have been maintenance-related, he still has two more sessions to elevate to full activity before week's end.
Nov 22, 2020
Tops team in receiving
Ridley caught five of his nine targets for 90 receiving yards during Sunday's 24-9 loss to the Saints.
ANALYSIS
With Julio Jones hobbled for much of the contest because of a hamstring issue, Ridley contributed his highest receiving output since Week 5. The third-year receiver was inactive for Atlanta's win over the Broncos on Nov. 8, and he remained limited throughout the practice week entering Sunday. A 46-yard reception against the Saints mitigated concerns regarding his explosiveness coming off the injury. Ridley has posted five different outings of 90-plus yards as the 3-7 Falcons prepare to host Las Vegas in Week 12.
Nov 20, 2020
Cleared for Sunday's game
Ridley (foot) has been cleared from the injury report and will play in Sunday's game against the Saints, Jason Butt of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ANALYSIS
Despite having his practice reps limited this week, Ridley avoided a designation on the final injury report. He should be ready for his usual role coming out of a bye week, hoping to pick up where he left off before he sprained his foot. Ridley is averaging 5.4 catches for 82.1 yards on 8.4 targets per game, with six touchdowns in eight appearances. It'll be a rarity for the Falcons to enter Sunday without any of Ridley, Julio Jones or Russell Gage listed as questionable/doubtful/out.
Nov 19, 2020
Activity limited again
Ridley (foot) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
The Falcons capped Ridley's reps for the second practice in a row, but McFadden notes that any participation should be viewed as a good sign for the wideout's chances of playing through a sprained left foot Sunday in New Orleans. Ridley sat out the Falcons' Week 9 win over the Broncos with the injury before benefiting from a well-timed Week 10 bye.
Nov 18, 2020
Set for limited practice
Ridley (foot) will be limited at practice Wednesday, William McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Interim head coach Raheem Morris noted that the hope is to get Ridley -- who last suited up in Week 8 -- individual and team work Wednesday, but the wideout still isn't ready to practice fully, even after the Falcons' bye week. He'll look to progress to that level in advance of Sunday's game against the Saints.
Nov 16, 2020
Works with trainer on side
Ridley (foot) got work in with trainers to the side of Monday's practice, Jason Butt of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ANALYSIS
Interim coach Raheem Morris said that he'll have a better idea of Ridley's availability for Week 11 on Wednesday, when the third-year wideout will be scheduled to get in some individual work. Ridley hasn't played since Week 8 due to a mid-foot sprain, but he's now had the Falcons' bye to get healthy and appears to have a shot at suiting up in New Orleans on Sunday.
Nov 8, 2020
Sitting out Sunday
Ridley (foot) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
Ridley didn't practice this week due to a mid-foot sprain, earning a questionable designation for Week 9. His availability was subject to a pregame workout, after which the Falcons opted to give him the week off with a bye week on tap. In Ridley's absence, Atlanta's passing game will funnel through Julio Jones, with Russell Gage, Christian Blake and Olamide Zaccheaus in line for any targets that linger.
Nov 8, 2020
May not play Sunday
Ridley (foot) will go through a pregame workout to determine his availability for Sunday's game against the Broncos, but the Falcons aren't optimistic he'll play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The 25-year-old was unable to practice this week due to the foot issue and is officially labeled questionable, but it appears he hasn't progressed much since the release of Friday's injury report. Ridley was limited to 23 snaps last week in Carolina due to the injury, and if he's unable to play Christian Blake may receive the spot start. The Falcons have their bye in Week 10, so Ridley would be afforded an extra week to recover should he sit out Sunday.
Nov 6, 2020
Misses practice, but not ruled out
Ridley (foot) was held out of practice again Friday but it listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Denver, William McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
While the Falcons will leave the door open, Ridley's inability to practice in any capacity throughout the week hints at an uphill battle to be active come Sunday. The Falcons could take it down to a game-time decision ahead of their 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, with Christian Blake oh hand to fill in if Ridley can't give it a go. Blake played 54 percent of the offensive snaps in last week's win over Carolina, catching two passes for 14 yards on two targets.
Nov 5, 2020
No practice again Thursday
Ridley (foot) was held out of practice Thursday, Tori McElhaney of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley has yet to practice this week due to the mid-foot sprain he suffered last Thursday at Carolina, but interim coach Raheem Morris noted Wednesday that the team received "good news" about the injury, per D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. That hasn't resulted in any activity on the field, but Ridley does have one more practice to make his presence felt in advance of the weekend.
Nov 4, 2020
Day-to-day with foot sprain
Ridley (foot) won't practice Wednesday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ANALYSIS
On the plus side, interim head coach Raheem Morris relayed that Ridley has received "good news" about his mid-foot sprain and that the wideout is viewed as day-to-day in advance of Sunday's game against the Broncos.
Oct 30, 2020
Has mid-foot sprain
Ridley has been diagnosed with a mid-foot sprain, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley went down Thursday at Carolina, holding his left foot at the end of a catch. While he was able to walk off the field under his own power, he didn't return to the contest. An ensuing X-ray was returned negative, and MRI also didn't "show much," so the wide receiver is considered day-to-day. With more time than normal to prepare for the Falcons' next game Nov. 8 against the Broncos, Ridley has a good chance to miss no more time due to injury.
Oct 30, 2020
Deemed day-to-day
Ridley (foot) is considered day-to-day after getting an MRI, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
It seems the wideout got good news from both X-rays and an MRI, with the Falcons hoping to have him back for Week 9 against the Broncos. It'll help to have 10 days between games after a Thursday contest, but Ridley nonetheless figures to show up on the injury report next week. He was forced out of Thursday's win over Carolina after 23 snaps, catching three of four targets for 42 yards before his departure.
Oct 30, 2020
X-rays return negative
Ridley (ankle) had X-rays come back negative but is now scheduled to undergo an MRI, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The team announced the injury as an ankle issue after the 25-year-old exited Thursday's win over the Panthers, though Rapoport refers to it as a foot injury. Regardless, Ridley's status remains up in the air while awaiting the results of the MRI.
Oct 29, 2020
Won't return Thursday
Ridley (ankle) is ruled out to retake the field Thursday, William McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was initially listed as questionable to return after being forced out during the second quarter, but he was quickly ruled out after halftime. For the remainder of Thursday's contest, at least, Russell Gage, Olamide Zaccheaus, Christian Blake and Brandon Powell will all be candidates to see an uptick in looks behind Julio Jones. Ridley had three catches for 42 yards on four targets before walking off under his own power.
Oct 29, 2020
Questionable to return Thursday
Ridley (ankle) is questionable to return to Thursday's game against the Panthers, Kelsey Conway of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley walked off the field under his own power after making a catch midway through the second quarter. If he's unable to return to Thursday's divisional matchup, Russell Gage, Olamide Zaccheaus, Christian Blake and Brandon Powell will all be candidates to see increased opportunities behind No. 1 wideout Julio Jones. Before leaving the field, Ridley had three catches for 42 yards on four targets.
Oct 29, 2020
Leaves game with injury
Ridley exited Thursday's game against the Panthers in the second quarter due to an apparent left foot injury, Jason Butt of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was briefly down on the field holding his left foot/ankle after making an intermediate catch, but he managed to walk off under his own power. He had secured three of four targets for 42 yards before exiting Thursday's contest. Russell Gage stands to see increased opportunities behind top wideout Julio Jones if Ridley can't return.
Oct 25, 2020
Scores another TD in Week 7
Ridley hauled in five of his seven targets for 69 receiving yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 23-22 loss to the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Ridley has endured a slight decrease from his astronomical yardage totals of Weeks 1, 2, 3 and 5, but he also has scored TDs in back-to-back games with Julio Jones returned to the fold. The third-year receiver has now totaled six TDs through seven appearances this season, landing him one short of his total from the entire 2019 campaign. He's also on pace to obliterate standing career highs in receptions (64) and receiving yards (886), as he finds himself on a trajectory for more than 90 catches and 1,400 yards. New Orleans just carved into Carolina for 287 passing yards and three total touchdowns Sunday, meaning Atlanta's high-flying passing attack may be in line for a productive outing against the Panthers on Thursday night.
Oct 23, 2020
Cleared for Week 7
Ridley (elbow) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Detroit, William McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley never appeared to be in serious danger of missing the game, logging limited practices Wednesday and Thursday. He should be fine to handle his usual workload, averaging 9.5 targets and 91 receiving yards per game this year. The Lions have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to wide receivers, including 186.2 yards and 1.2 TDs per game.
Oct 22, 2020
Limited in second straight practice
The Falcons listed Ridley (elbow) as a limited participant at Thursday's practice, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Both Ridley and fellow starting wideout Julio Jones (hamstring) were limited in the Falcons' second practice of Week 7, but neither player looks to be at major risk of sitting out Sunday's game against the Lions. Jones' return from a one-game absence didn't prove too costly for Ridley in the Week 6 win over the Vikings. Though he was held under double-digit targets for only the second time all season, Ridley turned in another productive stat line (six receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown).
Oct 21, 2020
Limited by elbow issue
Ridley (elbow) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley has played through a variety of injuries this season, with an elbow issuing capping his reps in the first session of Week 7 prep. The issues haven't stopped him from producing, as he ranks top five in both receiving yards and touchdowns. He'll aim to get in a full session by week's end, at which point the Falcons may clarify his availability for Sunday's game versus the Lions.
Oct 18, 2020
Scores fifth TD of 2020
Ridley corralled six of his seven targets for 61 receiving yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 40-23 win against Minnesota.
ANALYSIS
The third-year wideout entered Sunday as the only player in Falcons franchise history with 100-plus receiving yards in four of five outings to begin a season. While Ridley was unable to extend his streak in that department, he did score for the first time since posting four combined TDs between Weeks 1 and 2. Julio Jones' return from a lingering hamstring issue may have depleted Ridley's target share slightly against the Vikings, though it did at least pull coverage away from the young receiver as Matt Ryan tied his season-high in TD passes. Ridley and the Falcons receiving corps will next face a Lions defense that allowed both Keelan Cole and D.J. Chark to go for six-plus receptions Sunday.
Oct 11, 2020
Huge day against Panthers
Ridley corralled eight of 10 targets for 136 receiving yards during Sunday's 23-16 loss to Carolina.
ANALYSIS
The third-year wideout accounted for over 60 percent of the Falcons' receiving yardage on the afternoon, while garnering four more targets than any other player on the team. Ridley was held without a reception during a Week 4 Monday night loss to Green Bay, but otherwise, his season-low in receiving is 109 yards. If Julio Jones (hamstring) is inactive for a second straight start Week 6 against the Vikings, Ridley will remain the clear No. 1 option in Atlanta's high-volume passing attack. Minnesota has been exposed by opposing WRs this season, allowing the fifth-most receiving yards to the position (816) entering Sunday.
Oct 11, 2020
Clear top wideout for Week 5
Ridley will serve as the Falcons' clear No. 1 receiver Sunday against the Panthers with Julio Jones (hamstring) ruled out for the contest, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
With Jones having only played one half in the Falcons' last two games due to the lingering hamstring injury, Ridley has already had some opportunities this season to serve as Matt Ryan's top option in the passing game. While Ridley was shut out across five targets in Monday's 30-16 loss to the Packers, the third-year wideout opened the season with three straight dazzling performances, racking up 21 receptions for 349 yards and four touchdowns on 35 targets over that stretch. Ridley could be in store for another big outing Sunday in a game that features one of the highest over/under totals of the Week 5 slate.
Oct 8, 2020
Remains limited Thursday
Ridley (thigh/knee) was limited at practice Thursday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
During the media-access portion of the session, Ridley ran crisp routes and looked like himself, per McClure. Still, it wasn't deemed enough to be more than a limited participant for a second day in a row. Friday's injury report is poised to clarify the situation within the Falcons' receiving corps, which has yet to include Julio Jones (hamstring) in practice this week.
Oct 8, 2020
Running routes Thursday
Ridley (thigh) looked good running routes during Thursday's practice, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley's precise activity level won't be known until the Falcons release their second practice report of Week 5 prep, but there's a chance he bumps up from the LP that he received Wednesday. Meanwhile, Julio Jones (hamstring) wasn't present in the part of Thursday's session open to the media, so Russell Gage and Olamide Zaccheaus could be in line for elevated workloads this weekend.
Oct 7, 2020
Limited to begin Week 5 prep
Ridley (thigh/knee) was a limited participant at Thursday's practice, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley has battled a number of lower-body injuries of late, with thigh and knee issues this week joining ankle and calf concerns from last week. After reeling off at least 100 receiving yards in each of the first three games of the season, he was blanked by the Packers this past Monday. On a positive note, Ridley managed to get in some reps Wednesday, while Julio Jones (hamstring) didn't practice at all. After Jones and Ridley, Russell Gage and Olamide Zaccheaus are the next wide receivers up for the Falcons.
Oct 6, 2020
Blanked in catch department on MNF
Ridley corralled none of his five targets during Monday night's 30-16 loss to the Packers.
ANALYSIS
The third-year wideout just missed a touchdown on Atlanta's penultimate drive of the night, as Matt Ryan left a ball slightly behind Ridley on a fourth-down end-zone heave with 3:44 to go, allowing Green Bay's Adrian Amos to knock the ball out of Ridley's grasp. The Packers were able to key in on the young star as Julio Jones exited the game near the end of the second quarter with an aggravated hamstring injury, holding Ridley to his first no-catch performance since his NFL debut in 2018. Week 5 poses a challenging matchup for Ridley, as he may be without Jones to pull coverage defenders away from him against Carolina's top-10 pass defense.
Oct 5, 2020
Taking the field Monday
Ridley (ankle) is listed as active Monday at Green Bay, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley emerged from Week 3 with an ankle injury that forced him to miss practice Thursday. That said, he was listed as a limited practice participant Friday and Saturday, with the expectation that he'd be available Monday. With confirmation that both he and Julio Jones (hamstring) are active, they'll aim to exploit a Packers defense that has yielded 8.5 yards per target and five touchdowns to wide receivers this season.
Oct 5, 2020
Ready for MNF
Tom Pelissero of NFL Network confirms Ridley (ankle) and Julio Jones (hamstring) will play Monday night in Green Bay.
ANALYSIS
Things have been trending this direction since Friday when both Ridley and Jones were able to practice. FOX's Jay Glazer reported Sunday that the star wideouts would be able to play, and we now get confirmation from Pelissero. Even if he's quite at 100 percent strength, Ridley has shown more than enough to warrant a spot in all fantasy lineups.
Oct 4, 2020
Will play Monday night
Ridley (ankle/calf) will play Monday night, according to Fox's Jay Glazer on the network's pregame show.
ANALYSIS
Glazer said that he spoke to Falcons coach Dan Quinn, who confirmed that Ridley will play, as will Julio Jones. Quinn further elaborated that both might sit out here-and-there to 'protect them from themselves,' but both should be starting.
Oct 3, 2020
Trending in right direction
Ridley (ankle/calf) remains questionable but is trending towards playing Monday against Green Bay, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley missed Thursday's practice due to an ankle issue and is dealing with a calf problem as well, though neither issue is apparently too serious. The Falcons will have plenty of question marks at receiver heading into their Monday night contest, as Julio Jones (hamstring) is similarly questionable but trending towards playing.
Oct 2, 2020
Limited in practice Friday
Ridley (ankle/calf) was a limited participant in Friday's practice, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley didn't practice in any capacity Thursday, so Friday's limited session represents a tangible step in the right direction. It looks as though Julio Jones (hamstring) is trending in the right direction, and Russell Gage (concussion) was a full participant in practice, so the Falcons still have a shot at fielding a fully healthy receiving corps during Monday's contest in Green Bay. Ridley will have one more chance to increase his level of practice activity before the Falcons assign him an injury designation for Week 4 .
Oct 2, 2020
Returns to practice
Ridley (ankle) returned to practice Friday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was held out Thursday, but there hasn't been any suggestion his ankle injury is serious, and he'll have an extra day to prepare before the Falcons face the Packers on Monday. He's top five in a slew of key receiving stats, including yards (349, 2nd), touchdowns (four, t-1st) and air yards (559, 1st).
Oct 1, 2020
Sits out practice with ankle injury
Ridley didn't participate in Thursday's practice due to an ankle injury, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was one of seven starters to sit out the Falcons' first Week 4 practice coming off Sunday's 30-26 loss to the Bears. In that contest, Ridley served as Atlanta's No. 1 wideout while Julio Jones (hamstring) was sidelined, finishing with five receptions for 110 yards on 13 targets. Given that Jones was a limited participant Thursday, he looks to be ahead of Ridley health-wise heading into a Monday night matchup with the Packers. Ridley will still have two more opportunities to practice this week and ensure his availability for the primetime matchup.
Sep 27, 2020
Hits century mark again
Ridley caught five of his 13 targets for a total of 110 receiving yards during Sunday's 30-26 loss to Chicago.
ANALYSIS
As Julio Jones sat with a left hamstring strain, Ridley dominated the target share, attracting more than double the targets of Atlanta's No. 2 option, Olamide Zaccheaus (six). Had the third-year receiver been able to register a touchdown Sunday, he would have joined Randy Moss, Marvin Harrison, Jerry Rice, and Dwight Clark as the only players in NFL history to start a season with three 100-yard, one-TD games. Safe to say, Ridley is red-hot heading into a Week 4 matchup against a Packers defense that surrendered the second-most receiving TDs to opposing wideouts Weeks 1 and 2.
Sep 20, 2020
Stays red-hot to start 2020
Ridley caught seven of a team-high 10 targets, collecting 109 receiving yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 40-39 loss to Dallas.
ANALYSIS
The Alabama product is enjoying a prolific start to the 2020 campaign, as he has now led the Falcons in targets over each of the team's first two outings of the year, picking up an outstanding 16 catches, 239 yards and four touchdowns in the process. Rampant touchdown production is nothing new for Ridley, as with two touchdowns Week 1 against the Seahawks, he tied Julio Jones for the most receiving TDs (19) through a player's first 30 games as a Falcon. Atlanta has put up an astronomical 90 pass attempts through its first two outings of the year, indicating that Ridley may continue to provide immense value so long as he can stay healthy. The slate becomes more difficult in Week 3, however, as the Falcons host a Bears defense that has allowed just one receiver to go over 65 yards thus far this season.
Sep 13, 2020
Explosive start to third year
Ridley caught nine of 12 targets for 130 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 38-25 loss to the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
The third-year receiver from Alabama looked like a league-winner in Week 1, matching 15 percent of his 2019 receiving production during his 2020 debut against the Seahawks. Ridley was red-hot to wrap up his second pro campaign last December, averaging 6.8 catches and 98.8 receiving yards per game with three total touchdowns Weeks 11 to 14 before suffering a season-ending abdomen injury. Operating within what looks to be a pass-heavy offense once again for Atlanta, Ridley will face a Cowboys defense in Week 2 that allowed the fifth-fewest receiving yards to opposing wideouts during 2019.
Jun 22, 2020
Eyeing third-year breakout
Ridley (abdomen) has been working out with Matt Ryan, who believes the young wideout "could explode" in his third pro season, AL.com's Mark Inabinett reports. "He's a guy I think could explode going into a year like this," Ryan said. "He's in phenomenal shape, he's been running great and I think his grasp of the offense and his mastery of our system is so much further along than it was last year."
ANALYSIS
Ridley missed the final three games of last season with an abdominal injury, but the estimated recovery timeline of only 3-to-4 weeks allowed for a healthy offseason. He piled up 395 yards and three TDs in his final four appearances last year, potentially setting the stage for a 2020 breakout. Ryan seems to be on board with the idea, noting that Ridley should benefit from his recent on-field workouts with the veteran quarterback and other teammates. Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter also expects Ridley to improve in Year 3, mentioning route-running as a potential area for continued growth.
Dec 9, 2019
Should need short-term recovery
Coach Dan Quinn confirmed Monday that Ridley would be shut down for the season with a lower abdominal injury, but the receiver is only expected to need around 3-to-4 weeks of recovery time, Jason Butt of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley likely would have attempted to return in 2019 if the Falcons were still in the mix for a playoff spot, but with a 4-9 record heading into Week 15, Atlanta won't take any chances with him. Quinn suggested that Christian Blake and Olamide Zaccheaus would be the primary beneficiaries of added snaps while Ridley is out, according to Butt. Based on Ridley's recovery timeline, he should enjoy a normal offseason and be back to full strength when the Falcons reconvene for OTAs.
Dec 6, 2019
Good to go
Ridley (toe) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Carolina, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was a limited practice participant Wednesday through Friday, with no suggestion he was ever in danger of missing the Week 14 game. He will face added competition for targets with both Julio Jones (shoulder) and Austin Hooper (knee) back in the lineup.
Dec 4, 2019
Tending to toe injury
Ridley was limited by a toe injury at Wednesday's practice, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley is matching Julio Jones' (shoulder) activity level, but at least both wide receivers are participating in some capacity, which helps their case to suit up on game day. Working as the top WR in Jones' absence last Thursday against the Saints, Ridley hauled in eight of 10 targets for 91 yards and no touchdowns.
Sep 27, 2019
Good to go
Ridley (hip) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Tennessee, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday before closing out the week with a full session. He should be fine to handle his usual role, coming off receiving lines of 8-105-1 and 1-6-0 the past two weeks.
Sep 25, 2019
Picks up hip injury
RIdley was limited in practice Wednesday by a hip injury, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After reaching the end zone in both Weeks 1 and 2, Ridley was targeted just one time this past Sunday at Indianapolis while playing 75 percent of the offensive snaps. Such a workload is in line with his share from the first 19 appearances of his career, but a hip issue could impact him this weekend. As a result, Ridley's activity level Thursday and Friday should be watch as the week goes on.
