Adams' cold stretch has stagnated his season line at 51-573-3 following a hot start to the fantasy campaign. The superstar's combination of talent and targets should keep him in fantasy starting lineups for next Sunday's matchup against the Jets.

Either way, look for Las Vegas' offense to be paced by Adams and starting RB Josh Jacobs, who led the NFL in rushing last year.

Despite having their full allotment of skill-position talent, the Raiders had all sorts of trouble getting anything going on the ground or through the air Week 16. Mustering just 143 net passing yards didn't do them any favors, and Adams finished with less than 40 receiving yards for the fifth occasion in 15 games this season. Since going off for 120-plus yards four times in five contests between Weeks 9 and 13, he's combined for a 9-114-0 line on 25 targets over the last three. Adams will have a difficult task on his hands Week 17 versus the 49ers' No. 1 ranked defense in terms of yards and points allowed.

Adams does have over 70 receiving yards in six straight contests, a streak he'll aim to extend in a Week 15 Monday night home battle versus the Patriots.

While Sunday's 177 yards set a new personal best in a Las Vegas jersey, he's posted three multi-TD performances in the last five games and topped 120 receiving yards in four of them, a stretch in which he's amassed a staggering 41-664-7 line on 67 targets. Even if the team gets Hunter Renfrow (oblique) or Darren Waller (hamstring) back for Thursday's game against the Rams, Adams doesn't seem likely to slow down against a secondary that just allowed DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett to combine for 17 catches, 255 yards and two TDs against it.

While his floor remains outstanding, Adams could have something closer to a ceiling game in Week 8 against a Saints secondary that just got lit up by DeAndre Hopkins on Thursday night.

Adams isn't expected to face any possible discipline stemming from his shove of a credentialed photographer Monday in the Raiders' loss to the Chiefs until his legal situation pertaining to the incident is resolved, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Adams was charged Wednesday with a city ordinance violation of assault, with his citation stating that he "did, by an intentional, overt act, inflict bodily injury or cause an unlawful offensive contact" on the photographer, who reportedly suffered from whiplash and a headache along with a possible concussion. A preliminary court date of Nov. 10 has been set, but Adams will remain on the field for Las Vegas until the legal case ends and the NFL decides whether or not to levy punishment on the star receiver. Because Adams was criminally charged, the NFL could view the incident as a violation of the personal conduct policy, which resulting in him serving a suspension and/or paying a fine even if the legal charges are dropped.

Adams has been charged with misdemeanor assault for shoving a credentialed media worker following the Raiders' loss to Kansas City on Monday night, ESPN.com reports.

According to court records released Wednesday, the report notes that the wideout was cited for an "intentional, overt act" that inflicted "bodily injury." Per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Adams could be facing discipline from the league, possibly including a suspension. With the Raiders on bye in Week 6, the team's next game is Oct. 23 against the Texans.

Adams' shove of a credentialed worker to the ground after Monday night's loss to the Chiefs is being reviewed by the NFL, Josh Dubow of The Associated Press reports.

Adams issued an apology after Monday's loss via his official Twitter account, but it's possible that the league's investigation into the incident could result in a fine or suspension. Adams saw his TD streak end at three games to begin the season, but he'll look to start a new one in Week 5 in an AFC West clash with Kansas City.

Adams tied for the team lead with 10 targets, but he produced little with the opportunity. His longest gain went for 18 yards, though none of his other four catches went for more than seven yards. Positively, Adams did score a short touchdown and has now found the end zone in all of his games as a Raider. However, since racking up 141 receiving yards in Week 1, Adams has combined to record only seven receptions for 48 yards across his last two contests.

Adams caught two passes for 12 yards and one touchdown on seven targets against Arizona on Sunday.

Credit is owed to Arizona defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, who evidently got the better of Raiders coach Josh McDaniels in the game planning of this contest. Adams is the engine of the Raiders passing game, and the Cardinals managed to deny the Raiders the chance to get the machine up and running. The Raiders need to and likely will get Adams more involved against Tennessee in Week 3.

The Raiders passing game wasn't very healthy overall in this game as Derek Carr struggled with sacks and turnovers, but Adams himself dominated almost out of the gate. With this game Adams somewhat answers any doubts about whether his usage would keep up with the standards he set previously in Green Bay, even if he's unlikely to maintain the target share he posted in this particular game (17 of 35 team targets). Whatever the other specifics, the Raiders offense primarily runs through Adams.

Adams and other Raiders starters aren't in uniform for Saturday's preseason game against Miami, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.

Adams and QB Derek Carr aren't dressed, nor are a number of other key players, reportedly. If the former Fresno State teammates do see any action this preseason, it'll have to be in the team's fourth and final game (the Raiders were in the Hall of Fame Game this year, and have held out key starters every week so far).

Though Vic Tafurof The Athletic suggests that coach Josh McDaniels seems unlikely to share which of his players will face the Jaguars in Thursday's Hall of Fame Game, he suggests that QB Derek Carr and other key starters (which describes Adams) will end up being spectators.

If Adams doesn't see any snaps Thursday or alternatively ends up making a cameo, he'll have three more chances to get a portion of preseason reps. In any case, as long as Adams avoids any injury issues ahead of Week 1, the Raiders' splashy offseason trade acquisition is poised to see plenty of targets in 2022 from QB Derek Carr, his former college quarterback at Fresno State.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Adams will sign a new contract with the Raiders for five years, $141.25 million as he reunites with Derek Carr, his college quarterback at Fresno State. Adams is coming off a six-year stretch in which he surpassed 1,000 yards receiving three times and hit double-digit touchdowns on five occasions. As for the Packers, they'll receive Las Vegas' 2022 first- and second-round picks as compensation, per Schefter.

Look for updates from head coach Matt LaFleur this week on whether Adams will be rested or not heading into a meaningless matchup -- in terms of playoff seeding -- against the Lions next Sunday.

Coming off three straight 100-yard outings, Adams came back to earth a bit Sunday, but the star nonetheless remains a top receiving option ahead of Week 16's matchup versus the Browns.

Adams was dealing with a bum hamstring during practice this week, and he was quiet out of the gates in this one. The superstar wideout could only be held back for so long, as he and Aaron Rodgers dominated the Bears' defense from the second quarter onwards. Adams has now produced three straight 100-plus yard games while scoring four touchdowns over that span. He will attempt to stretch that streak to four games against the Ravens in Week 15.

Adams has opened Week 14 prep with back-to-back capped sessions, the result of a hamstring issue. Adams will face a stiff test against shutdown corner Jalen Ramsey and the Rams in a rematch of last year's NFC divisional round next Sunday.

Adams could have done more against this vulnerable secondary, but the Packers seemed just a tad disjointed as Aaron Rodgers made his return from a one-game COVID absence. Rodgers and especially Adams should become more dangerous as the rust shakes off, and it might be Week 11 opponent Minnesota who bears the brunt of that.

Adams caught six passes for 42 yards on 14 targets against Kansas City on Sunday.

It's not clear whether Aaron Rodgers (COVID) will be available for Green Bay's Week 10 game against Seattle, but it is clear that Jordan Love probably can't get Adams the ball reliably enough for Adams to maintain the dominant production he posted with Rodgers. Adams nearly had a big catch on Love's one interception -- the corner (L'Jarius Sneed) made a great play, to be fair -- and at another point Love narrowly misplaced a downfield throw where Adams easily beat the defense, so it is easy to imagine a way Sunday's game could have been more fruitful for Adams, but there's no guarantee Love does better if the same situations occur in Week 10. With that said, the 14 targets is perhaps reason for optimism, because that target count made up 41.1 percent of Green Bay's targets on the day.

The patented Aaron Rodgers/Davante Adams connection carried the Packers' offense all evening, highlighted by a perfect 25-yard strike that put Mason Crosby in range to win a close contest as time expired. The superstar wideout did leave the game briefly after taking a hard shot to the head that left him grounded for a couple of minutes, but he was able to return in time to play the role of co-hero. After a forgettable Week 1 for the entire Green Bay offense, Adams has racked up a whopping 20 receptions, 253 yards and a touchdown over the last two contests. This dangerous QB-WR duo will look to keep things rolling against the Steelers next Sunday.

Adams averaged 91.6 receptions, 1,127.8 yards and 11.6 touchdowns over the last five seasons, so he has the stats on his side. However, the Packers do have a bit of leverage, as they will have the franchise tag available.

If it wasn't for Alvin Kamara's ridiculous six-touchdown game, Adams would likely be named NFC Player of the Week. The good news for those hoping to get another chance to use the star wideout this regular season is that the Seahawks were also victors in Week 16, which gives the Packers something to play for (1st seed and bye) next week against the Bears.
