Scores on lone Week 11 catch
Adams (oblique) caught one of eight targets for a one-yard touchdown in Sunday's 21-19 win over the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
Adams suited up after getting banged up in the fourth quarter of the Rams' previous game, and he secured his league-leading 10th touchdown catch on a one-yard pass in the first quarter against the Seahawks. That was his only reception of the game as Matthew Stafford threw for just 130 yards. The veteran wide receiver's chemistry with Stafford in goal-line situations has been on full display during Adams' four-game, seven-touchdown streak. Adams will try to extend his scoring streak in Week 12 against a Buccaneers defense that just allowed 44 points to the Bills.

Suiting up Sunday
Adams (oblique) is listed as active Sunday versus the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
Adams initially was diagnosed with a back injury when he departed last Sunday's win at San Francisco in the fourth quarter. Coach Sean McVay told Nate Atkins of The Athletic afterward that Adams instead was dealing with an oblique issue but could have returned if the game was in question. When McVay told Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com that Adams wouldn't practice Wednesday, he also said that he expected the veteran wide receiver to be available for Week 11 action. McVay relayed the same thing to Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com on Friday, and back-to-back limited sessions Thursday and Friday ended up being enough for Adams to suit up this weekend. Adams will be taking on a Seattle defense Sunday that has allowed the 20th-most catches (102) to opposing WRs but only 6.3 YPT (second in the NFL) in nine games this season.

Expected to play Sunday
Adams, who is listed as questionable for Sunday's Week 11 matchup against Seattle due to an oblique injury, is likely to suit up, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
This report seems to confirm Rams coach Sean McVay's statement Friday morning that Adams is expected to play. The veteran wideout missed practice Wednesday but was able to log limited sessions Thursday and Friday, suggesting that his oblique issue isn't debilitating. If Adams does indeed participate in the big NFC West clash, he'll look to extend a three-game streak of getting into the end zone.
Nov 14, 2025
Deemed questionable, should play
Adams (oblique) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Seattle after logging limited practices Thursday and Friday, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Rams coach Sean Mcvay said Friday morning that Adams is expected to play. The 32-year-old wideout made an early exit from last Sunday's 42-26 win over San Francisco, with McVay saying afterward that Adam likely would've returned if the score had been closer. Adams then missed practice Wednesday before returning as a limited participant Thursday and Friday. It doesn't sound like the Rams expect a game-time decision ahead of Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff.

Listed as questionable, should play
Adams (oblique) will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Seattle, with Rams coach Sean McVay saying Friday that he expects the wideout to play, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It's the type of matchup where Adams might give it a go in a borderline situation, but this sounds more like a case where he's ready to play and will only sit out if there's a late setback. He made an early exit from last Sunday's 42-26 win over San Francisco, with McVay saying afterward that Adam likely would've returned if the score had been closer. Adams then missed practice Wednesday before returning as a limited participant Thursday.
Nov 13, 2025
Limited in practice
Adams (oblique) was limited at practice Thursday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams made an early exit from this past Sunday's victory at San Francisco with a back injury that eventually was reclassified as an oblique issue. Despite Adams not practicing Wednesday, coach Sean McVay relayed to Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com that the Rams expect the 12th-year pro to play Sunday against the Seahawks. Adams thus has taken a step in the right direction to do so as of Thursday, but Friday's practice report will reveal whether or not he has a designation ahead of Week 11 action.
Nov 13, 2025
Back on field Thursday
Adams (oblique) was in pads and warming up before Thursday's practice, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Prior to Adams sitting out Wednesday's practice, coach Sean McVay told Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com that he expected the veteran wide receiver to play Sunday versus the Seahawks after he left this past Sunday's win at San Francisco early due to an oblique injury. A return to drills Thursday is a step in the right direction, but it remains to be seen if he'll be listed as limited or full on the Rams' second Week 11 practice report.
Nov 12, 2025
No practice Wednesday
Coach Sean McVay said Adams (oblique) won't practice Wednesday, but the Rams expect the veteran wide receiver to play Sunday against the Seahawks, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams initially was diagnosed with a back injury after he pulled up while running a route in the fourth quarter of this past Sunday's win at San Francisco. Afterward, McVay clarified that Adams instead sustained an oblique issue but could have returned if the game had been in question, per Nate Atkins of The Athletic. Adams may need to mix into drills at some point Thursday or Friday in order to avoid a designation ahead of Week 11 action.
Nov 9, 2025
Coach optimistic about oblique
Adams suffered an oblique injury during Sunday's 42-26 win over the 49ers, but he would probably have returned if the score was closer, coach Sean McVay said after the game, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams' status will bear monitoring ahead of Week 11 against the Seahawks, but McVay sounded optimistic regarding Adams' injury after the game. Prior to exiting in the fourth quarter, Adams caught six of eight targets for 77 yards and scored his ninth touchdown of the season.
Nov 9, 2025
Suffers back injury in Week 10
Adams suffered a back injury during Sunday's game at San Francisco, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams pulled up while running a route early in the fourth quarter and now is questionable to return. If he's unable to do so, he'll finish Week 10 action with six catches (on eight targets) for 77 yards and one touchdown, extending his TD streak to three straight contests in the process. The Rams will roll with Puka Nacua, Jordan Whittington, Konata Mumpfield and Xavier Smith at wide receiver in the short term.
Nov 2, 2025
Another multi-touchdown effort
Adams recorded five receptions on seven targets for 60 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 34-10 win over the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Adams made the most of his five receptions, turning in two catches of at least 20 yards while also finding the end zone twice. This marked his second consecutive game with multiple touchdowns and only the third time this season he's reached at least 60 receiving yards. While Adams has been reliant on finding the end zone to maintain his fantasy value, the Rams remain one of the more efficient passing offenses in the league with heavily concentrated targets. He could also be in for additional volume in Week 10 against the 49ers if Puka Nacua (chest) is forced to miss additional time.
Oct 19, 2025
Cashes in three TDs sans Nacua
Adams corralled five of eight targets for 35 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 35-7 win over the Jaguars.
ANALYSIS
Adams had an efficient day at the office Sunday, converting over half of his receptions into touchdowns for the fans in London. The veteran superstar took full advantage of Puka Nacua's (ankle) absence, matching the three touchdowns Adams posted over his first six starts with Los Angeles in one fell swoop. The 32-year-old Adams has provided fantasy managers with a 31-431-6 receiving line in what is shaping up to be a renaissance season in 2025. With the Rams entering a bye in Week 8, there is a realistic possibility that Nacua returns from a low-ankle sprain against the Saints in Week 9. If that's the case, Adams' run as the Rams' WR1 will have lasted just one week, but he is still a must-start asset in fantasy even as the team's No. 2 option.
Oct 17, 2025
Team's top WR for Week 7
Adams is set to lead the Rams' receiving corps Sunday against the Jaguars, as coach Sean McVay said Friday that Puka Nacua (ankle) will be out, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Nacua's 65 targets are the most in the NFL, so there will be significant additional volume from Matthew Stafford to go around in Nacua's absence. Adams has already seen heavy volume in his first season with the Rams, catching 26 of 55 targets for 396 yards and three touchdowns through six games. Jordan Whittington and Tutu Atwell could also step into larger roles Sunday in London.
Oct 12, 2025
Struggles in win
Adams recorded four receptions on nine targets for 39 yards in Sunday's 17-3 win over the Ravens.
ANALYSIS
Adams served as the Rams' top pass-catcher for most of the game, with Puka Nacua (ankle) briefly sidelined and then playing at less than full strength for most of the game. Adams led the team with nine targets, but he converted that into his lowest yardage total of the season. Touchdowns have masked his underwhelming stat lines through the first seven games of the season, but Adams has now been held under 60 receiving yards in four of six contests.
Oct 3, 2025
Team-high yardage total in OT loss
Adams brought in five of 11 targets for 88 yards in the Rams' 26-23 overtime loss to the 49ers on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Adams edged Puka Nacua by three for the team lead in receiving yards, and he was one target behind his teammate for the top spot in that category as well. Adams' yardage and target tallies were also his best since Week 2 and second highest of the campaign in both cases. Nacua remains the clear alpha option in the Rams' air attack, but Adams' role as the No. 2 receiver is just as clearly delineated heading into a Week 6 road matchup against the Ravens on Sunday, Oct. 12.
Sep 28, 2025
Extends TD streak to three games
Adams (hamstring) finished with four receptions on six targets for 56 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Colts.
ANALYSIS
Adams got in a limited practice on Friday and overcame a questionable tag from a hamstring injury in order to suit up for Sunday's tilt. This wound up benefiting fantasy managers greatly after the veteran superstar cashed in his third receiving touchdown in as many weeks in the waning moments of the first half. Puka Nacua (13-170-1) stole the show offensively, but Adams has been producing strong numbers operating as the No. 2 option for the Rams this season. The 32-year-old Adams will carry a 17-269-3 receiving line into Thursday's home matchup against the 49ers in Week 5.
Sep 28, 2025
Active against Colts
Adams (hamstring) is active for Sunday's Week 4 game against the Colts, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The veteran wideout was able to get in a limited practice Friday after sitting out the first two sessions of the week, and Adams has now validated head coach Sean McVay's optimism that he'd be able to suit up and fill his usual No. 2 role against Indianapolis. Adams has thus far proven an ideal complementary fit in the Rams' air attack alongside No. 1 receiver Puka Nacua, posting a 13-213-2 line on 29 targets through his first three contests.
Sep 28, 2025
Still on track for Week 4
Adams (hamstring) remains listed as questionable but is set to play Sunday against the Colts, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Rams head coach Sean McVay said prior to Friday's practice that Adams was trending toward playing Sunday despite taking a questionable tag into the weekend, and the wideout's outlook seemingly hasn't changed coming out of the team's final Week 4 practice session. Fowler notes, however, that the Rams intend to be "smart" with Adams, so while the veteran receiver isn't expected to face major restrictions, he could be subject to a slight reduction in his snap count. Through his first three games with the Rams, Adams has been highly productive as the No. 2 pass-game option behind Puka Nacua, accruing a 13-213-2 receiving line on 29 targets.
Sep 26, 2025
Questionable, expected to play
Adams (hamstring) will be limited in Friday's practice and questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts, with Rams coach Sean McVay expecting the wideout to play, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
ANALYSIS
It's always possible the outlook changes after practice, but Rams coach Sean McVay is usually straightforward when it comes to injury updates. Adams didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, after handling his usual workload in a Week 3 loss to the Eagles.
Sep 25, 2025
Officially no practice Thursday
Adams (hamstring) didn't practice Thursday, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams hasn't practiced so far during Week 4 prep due to what coach Sean McVay has termed a sore hamstring, per Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com. McVay also isn't concerned about Adams' availability for Sunday's game against the Colts, but ultimately Friday's injury report will unveil if the wide receiver has a designation entering the weekend.
Sep 25, 2025
Not seen at practice
Adams (hamstring) wasn't present for the media-access portion of Thursday's practice, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Coach Sean McVay told Barshop on Wednesday that Adams was tending to a sore hamstring and wouldn't practice, and his absence appears to have extended into Thursday. Still, McVay wasn't worried about the veteran wide receiver's availability for Sunday's contest against the Colts. Adams' activity level, or lack thereof, will become known once the Rams post their second Week 4 injury report.
Sep 24, 2025
Dealing with sore hamstring
Coach Sean McVay said Adams won't practice Wednesday due to a sore hamstring, but he doesn't believe the wide receiver will miss Sunday's game against the Colts, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams has been targeted early and often to start his stint with the Rams, racking up 29 targets through three games. Overall, he's hauled in 13 of them for 213 yards and two touchdowns. Now that he's tending to a health concern, though, Adams' stats bears watching this week to see if he's able to emerge without a designation ahead of Sunday's contest.
Sep 21, 2025
Scores long touchdown
Adams recorded three receptions on eight targets for 56 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-26 loss to the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
Adams beat Cooper DeJean deep down the left sideline late in the first quarter for a 44-yard touchdown. That accounted for the majority of Adams' production on the day, as Puka Nacua overshadowed him. While Nacua's role in the offense is likely to take some of the upside away from Adams, he has at least eight targets in all three of his games with the Rams.
Sep 14, 2025
Leads Rams receivers
Adams recorded six receptions on 13 targets for 106 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 33-19 win over the Titans.
ANALYSIS
Adams led the Rams' pass catchers in targets and receiving yards, thanks in large part to long catches of 33 and 26 yards. He also recorded his first touchdown as a Ram on a 16-yard connection to the back corner of the end zone midway through the fourth quarter. Adams showed strong rapport with Matthew Stafford, which should bode well for his production moving forward, though he and the Rams will face a tough matchup against the Eagles in Week 3.
Sep 7, 2025
Solid debut with new club
Adams had four receptions on eight targets for 51 yards in Sunday's 14-9 win over the Texans.
ANALYSIS
Adams finished second in targets, receptions and receiving yards in a successful debut for the Rams after inking a two-year, $46 million deal this past offseason. The 32-year-old's poor catch rate (50 percent) could be attributed to lack of preseason reps with Matthew Stafford while the QB dealt with an ailing back. Adams' pursuit of a sixth straight 1,000-yard receiving season continues in a road tilt against the Titans next Sunday.
Jun 11, 2025
Healthy and happy in LA
Adams said Tuesday that he feels rejuvenated with the Rams, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams had a nice run for fantasy purposes with the Jets last season, but he caught just 58.8 percent of his targets in 11 games, relying on massive volume (114 targets) and touchdowns (seven) rather than per-target efficiency. That was also the case for most of his time in Las Vegas, where he caught 100 of 180 targets (55.6 percent) in 2022 and 103 of 175 targets (58.9 percent) in 2024. He'll likely have a higher catch rate but less target volume after joining the Rams on a two-year contract, now sharing an offense with QB Matthew Stafford and WR Puka Nacua. Positive reports from June minicamp don't erase concerns about age-related decline for the 32-year-old Adams, but there's an opportunity for impressive production if he still has juice, potentially playing for a good team for the first time since he was traded away from Green Bay after the 2021 campaign.
Mar 9, 2025
Headed to the Rams
Adams agreed to a two-year, $46 million deal with the Rams on Sunday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams' deal includes $26 million in guaranteed salary, per Rapoport, which likely makes it rather easy for the Rams to move on from him after the 2025 season if they so choose. The 32-year-old was released by the Jets in a salary-shedding move last Tuesday and was seen as perhaps the top available wide receiver ahead of the free-agent negotiating window starting Monday. Adams recorded 85 catches for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns over 14 games split between the Raiders (three) and Jets (11), and he has totaled over 1,000 yards in all but one of the last seven seasons. He'll now join a Rams squad that boasts Pro Bowl veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford, who agreed to a re-structured contract that kept him in Los Angeles this offseason. Longtime Rams wideout Cooper Kupp is also expected to be either cut or traded this offseason. His expected departure should leave Adams to fill a significant hole alongside budding star receiver Puka Nacua in this receiving corps, which also includes Tutu Atwell and Jordan Wh

Being let go by Jets
The Jets are set to release Adams, Adam Schefter of ESPN and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network report.
ANALYSIS
Per Schefter, Adams had no guaranteed money remaining on his contract, with the move in line to save the Jets $29.9M in salary cap space. The 32-year-old wideout is coming off a 2024 regular season in which he recorded 85 catches for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns in 14 games split between the Raiders (three) and Jets (11), and is now on track to approach NFL free agency as one of the top available options at his position.
Mar 2, 2025
Available for trade
The Jets are open to trading Adams before the start of the new league year on March 12, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Rapoport adds that the Jets are expected to release Adams if they cannot arrange a trade elsewhere and, if he's let go, he could follow quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a new team in free agency. New York officially informed Rodgers on Feb. 13 that the team would not bring him back after his second season with the team. Adams reunited with the quarterback, who was his longtime teammate during their time in Green Bay, when the wideout was traded from the Raiders to the Jets in October. The 32-year-old posted 67 receptions for 854 yards and seven touchdowns over 11 games in the Big Apple. He also tallied 18 receptions for 209 yards and one touchdown over three games with Las Vegas in 2024, marking his fifth straight 1,000-yard season. Adams would incur a $38.2 million cap hit for the Jets next season and he has two years remaining on his current contract, though none of his salary is guaranteed. Teams interested in acquiring him would likely prefer to wait until he is released before attempting to sign him on a low

Fifth straight 1,000-yard season
Adams caught six of 12 targets for 88 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 32-20 win over the Dolphins. He finishes the season with 85 catches for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns in 14 games split between the Raiders (three) and Jets (11).
ANALYSIS
Adams caught the third of Aaron Roders' four touchdown passes in what could be both players' final game with the Jets. The questions about whether Rodgers will return to the NFL at all don't apply to Adams, and with five consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons under his belt, the 32-year-old wideout is primed to remain a fantasy force wherever he plays in 2025. Adams has a potential out in his contract this offseason, which the Jets could opt to utilize rather than committing to the two years and $71.8 million remaining on his deal.
Dec 29, 2024
Limited by hip in loss
Adams (hip) caught five of eight targets for 47 yards in Sunday's 40-14 loss to the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Adams suited up after posting just one limited practice during the week but got off to a slow start, with only one catch for nine yards in the first half. He came alive on the first possession of the third quarter, notching two catches for 32 yards in addition to drawing a pass interference penalty, but Adams faded back into obscurity after that short burst of production. Adams was held to fewer than 11 targets for only the second time in his last eight games, and his involvement could be lower than usual again in Week 18 against the Dolphins if Adams remains bothered by his hip injury.
Dec 29, 2024
Active versus Bills
Adams (hip) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Adams, who was listed as a non-participant on New York's practice reports Wednesday and Thursday, then worked in a limited capacity Friday before approaching the contest listed as questionable. With Adams available Sunday, the talented wideout is poised to remain a key Week 17 target for QB Aaron Rodgers in the absence of any limitations or in-game setbacks. Over his last four outings, Adams has averaged a fantasy-friendly 7.5 catches on 12 targets for 110.3 yards, while notching five TDs in that span.
Dec 28, 2024
Likely to suit up Sunday
Adams, who is questionable for Sunday's Week 17 matchup against Buffalo due to a hip injury, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reported Friday that there was optimism about Adams being able to play Sunday, and it appears the star wideout will indeed be on the field against the Bills. Adams practiced just once this week, logging a limited session Friday, but there's no indication he'll have any restrictions if he suits up as expected Sunday. Schefter notes that the former Packer "would like to" be on the receiving end of Aaron Rodgers' 500th touchdown pass -- the veteran quarterback will reach that milestone with his next scoring toss.
Dec 27, 2024
Questionable but optimistic
Adams (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills but said Friday that he's optimistic about his chances of suiting up, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams upgraded to limited participation in practice Friday after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday. If Adams doesn't face any limitations Sunday, he's likely to see another massive workload after drawing at least 11 targets in six of his last seven outings.
Dec 27, 2024
Back at practice
Adams (hip) returned to practice Friday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday and Thursday's practice reports, but the wideout looked good during Friday's session, according to interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich. The Jets' upcoming injury report will reveal both Adams' participation level, as well as his designation (if any) for Sunday's game against the Bills.
Dec 26, 2024
Doesn't practice Thursday
Adams (hip) didn't practice Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams, who was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, was spotted off to the side during Thursday's session, so what the wideout is able to Friday will loom large with regard to his chances of playing Sunday against the Bills. Unless Adams upgrades to full participation to close the week, however, he'll likely head into the weekend with an injury designation.
Dec 26, 2024
Spotted at practice Thursday
Adams (hip) was present for practice Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, so his presence for Thursday's session bodes well for his status for Sunday's game against the Bills. The Jets' upcoming injury report will reveal the wideout's official participation level.
Dec 25, 2024
Estimated as 'DNP' on Wednesday
Adams (hip) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Though the Jets didn't practice Wednesday, Adams' presence on the team's initial Week 17 injury report makes his status worth monitoring as Sunday's game against the Bills approaches. In this past weekend's 19-9 loss to the Rams, Adams logged a 97 percent snap share en route to catching seven of his 13 targets for 68 yards and a touchdown.
Dec 22, 2024
Leading receiver in Week 16 loss
Adams caught seven of 13 targets for 68 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 19-9 loss to the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Coming off a 198-yard, two-touchdown second half in Week 15 against the Jaguars, Adams kept rolling with an 11-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter. Adams and the entire Jets offense cooled off after that at freezing MetLife Stadium, but the star wide receiver led the team in targets, catches and receiving yards once again. With the hamstring injury that bothered him at the end of his Raiders tenure now a distant memory, Adams should remain a quality fantasy option for a Week 17 road game against the Bills, barring western New York weather even worse than Sunday's frigid but snowless conditions at MetLife Stadium.
Dec 15, 2024
Catches 100th TD in 198-yard game
Adams caught nine of 12 targets for 198 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 32-25 win over the Jaguars. He also caught a two-point conversion.
ANALYSIS
Adams was blanked on two first-half targets as Aaron Rodgers completed only three passes before halftime, but the veteran wideout secured a 12-yard reception on the first play of the second half and took over from there. Adams made a 43-yard catch on New York's second possession of the third quarter and added a one-yard touchdown catch three plays later after having a touchdown ruling reversed on a red-zone reception in between. That touchdown reception was the 100th of Adams' career and gave the Jets a 17-16 lead. Adams celebrated the occasion by adding an octopus in the fourth quarter, putting the Jets up 23-22 with a career-long 71-yard touchdown catch before extending the advantage to three points by catching the ensuing two-point conversion. To round out this memorable performance, Adams made a sensational 23-yard catch along the sideline followed by a 41-yard reception to set up Breece Hall's game-winning one-yard rushing touchdown with 1:05 remaining. After the best half of Adams' illustrious career, h

Piles up 109 yards, TD in Week 14
Adams caught nine of 11 targets for 109 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 32-26 overtime loss to the Dolphins.
ANALYSIS
After a quiet start, Adams came alive with four catches for 54 yards -- including a 34-yard reception -- on the Jets' final drive of the first half, which resulted in a go-ahead field goal. Adams kept rolling to begin the second half, catching a three-yard touchdown pass to restore the lead. Miami ultimately came back to tie the game in the final seconds of regulation and won it in overtime without giving the Jets a chance to possess the ball, but Adams still managed to post his highest yardage total as a member of the Jets. Adams has notched at least 11 targets in four of his past five games, so he's likely to play a significant role once again in Week 15 against a weak Jacksonville pass defense.
Dec 1, 2024
Leading receiver in latest loss
Adams caught five of 11 targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-21 loss to the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
Adams opened the scoring with his second touchdown in six games with the Jets, finding the end zone from eight yards out. He just missed adding a chunk gain on a diving fourth-down effort in the second quarter, but Adams still finished the first half with game-high totals of 61 receiving yards and eight targets. Adams made no mistake on fourth down in the fourth quarter, gaining five yards on his only catch of the second half to pick up fourth-and-2 on the Jets' final possession, but that drive ultimately stalled as the Jets fell to 3-9. Aaron Rodgers threw for only 185 yards in this latest loss, and the Jets' offensive struggles as a team have lowered Adams' ceiling substantially heading into a Week 14 road game against the Dolphins.
Nov 17, 2024
Six catches in Week 11 loss
Adams (illness/wrist) caught six of seven targets for 72 yards in Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Colts.
ANALYSIS
Adams bounced back to lead the Jets in receiving yards after averaging an awful 2.4 yards per target in the previous game, but this still wasn't all that strong of a performance by the star wide receiver's lofty standards. Breece Hall scored two total touchdowns in the loss, while Garrett Wilson was limited to 18 receiving yards on eight targets. The Jets have been unable to get all three of those prominent playmakers going simultaneously, which has contributed to the team's dreadful 3-8 start heading into the Week 12 bye.
Nov 17, 2024
Active versus Colts
Adams (illness/wrist) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Colts.
ANALYSIS
Adams -- who had been listed as questionable for the contest -- missed practice both Wednesday and Thursday but logged a full session to close the week, with interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich noting Friday he expected the wideout to play Sunday, per Rich Cimini of ESPN. With his Week 11 availability confirmed, Adams is in line to continue to function as a key pass catcher for QB Aaron Rodgers opposite Garrett Wilson (who is averaging 10 targets a game), an arrangement that so far has resulted in Adams recording a 20/206/1 receiving line on 39 targets in four contests since arriving in a trade with the Raiders.
Nov 17, 2024
Expected to play
Adams (illness/wrist), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Coach Jeff Ulbrich relayed Friday that Adams is expected to play Sunday, so this report adds to the positive outlook. However, Adams' fantasy managers should check in approximately 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff for confirmation on the star wide receiver's status.
Nov 15, 2024
Questionable but expected to play
Adams (illness/wrist) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts after logging a full practice Friday.
ANALYSIS
Coach Jeff Ulbrich relayed earlier Friday that Adams is expected to play Sunday, and Adams' full participation in practice is another positive indicator. Nonetheless, Adams' fantasy managers should check in approximately 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff for confirmation on the star wide receiver's status.

Interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich relayed Friday that Adams (illness/wrist) is expected to play Sunday against the Colts,Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams returned to practice Friday after having missed back-to-back sessions, and per Ulbrich the wideout appears to be on track to suit up for Sunday's 1:00 ET contest. The Jets' upcoming injury report is slated clarify whether or not Adams carries a Week 11 injury designation, however.

Back at practice
Adams (illness/wrist) was present for practice Friday, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, but his return to Friday's session bodes well for his availability for Sunday's contest against the Colts. The Jets' upcoming injury report will relay whether the wideout carries a Week 11 injury designation or is fully cleared to face Indianapolis this weekend.
Nov 14, 2024
Still not practicing
Adams (wrist/illness) wasn't spotted at Thursday's practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams, who is listed as dealing with both an illness and a wrist issue, didn't practice Wednesday, so his continued absence Thursday puts the focus on what the wideout is able to do Friday in terms of getting a handle on his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Colts. Adams will likely need to practice fully Friday in order to approach Week 11 action without an injury designation.
Nov 13, 2024
Misses practice due to illness, wrist
Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich said Adams won't practice Wednesday due to an illness and a sore wrist, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Ulbrich didn't suggest that either issue was especially serious, but Adams will still likely need to practice in some fashion by Friday for the Jets to feel good about his chances of playing Sunday against the Colts. Since being acquired from the Raiders on Oct. 15, Adams has gotten off to a slow start to his tenure with the Jets. Through four games, Adams has produced a 20-206-1 receiving line on 39 targets, with his 5.3 yards per target representing a steep decline from his career average (7.8).
Nov 10, 2024
Little production off 13 targets
Adams finished with six receptions (13 targets) for 31 yards in Sunday's 31-6 loss to the Cardinals.
ANALYSIS
Arizona was dead set on stopping the Aaron Rodgers to Adams connection Sunday, and the longtime star duo did not have an answer. The 31-year-old Adams has turned in three duds and one diamond over four games since being traded to the Jets. That said, it would be hard to bench a player of Adams' caliber against the Colts next Sunday before the team goes on its bye in Week 12.
Nov 1, 2024
Best game yet with new team
Adams brought in seven of 11 targets for 91 yards and a touchdown in the Jets' 21-13 win over the Texans on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Adams was able to post team-best receiving yardage and target totals despite missing significant second-half time due to a concussion check. The star veteran wideout made a major splash upon his return to the game as well, recording a 37-yard touchdown grab with just under three minutes remaining to extend the Jets' lead to 21-10 and essentially seal the much-needed victory. Adams' totals were also his best yet since arriving in New York, affording him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 10 road matchup against the Cardinals on Sunday, Nov. 10.
Oct 31, 2024
Returns to game
Adams cleared concussion protocol and has returned to Thursday's game against the Texans, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams exited late in the third quarter and was checked for a concussion in the locker room. He missed nearly a full quarter but will be back in action for the final four minutes of regulation.
Oct 31, 2024
In locker room
Adams exited Thursday's game against the Texans to be evaluated for a concussion, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams hauled in a 17-yard pass to convert on a fourth-down attempt late in the third quarter, though he was hit low and his head bounced off the turf. He left and was briefly evaluated in the medical tent before heading to the locker room. The Jets confirmed that he is undergoing an evaluation for a concussion, though he does not have an official injury designation.
Oct 27, 2024
Slow start to Jets tenure
Adams caught four of six targets for 54 yards in Sunday's 25-22 loss to the Patriots.
ANALYSIS
Adams' modest showing included 16 meaningless yards on the game's final play, which ran out the clock before the Jets could get to the line for a spike. He finished second to Garrett Wilson (five catches on eight targets for 113 yards) in catches, targets and receiving yards. Adams has just 84 receiving yards through two games with the Jets, and he won't have much additional time to familiarize himself with his new surroundings before the trade acquisition's MetLife Stadium home debut Thursday against the Texans.
Oct 20, 2024
Just 30 yards in Jets debut
Adams (hamstring) caught three of nine targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 37-15 loss to the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Adams was targeted on the Jets' first play, but it fell incomplete, foreshadowing an underwhelming night in Adams' reunion with Aaron Rodgers. While the Jets insisted that Adams had a strong grasp of the playbook and gave him plenty of playing time, the trade acquisition will undoubtedly be sharper as he gains familiarity with his new team and gets further removed from the hamstring injury that had kept Adams out since Week 3. Adams will look to bounce back from this disappointing debut in Week 8 against the Patriots.
Oct 18, 2024
Set for full workload in Jets debut
Coach Jeff Ulbrich said Friday that he expects Adams (hamstring) to have a full workload Sunday against the Steelers, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams practiced without limitations Wednesday and Thursday after being acquired via trade from the Raiders on Tuesday. The star receiver isn't expected to have any limitations in his Jets debut, which will mark his first action since Week 3. Adams' lack of injury designation is a relief for his fantasy managers, who otherwise would have had a tricky decision on their hands since the Jets play in the third-to-last game of Week 7 on SNF.
Oct 16, 2024
Fully participating in walk-through
Adams (hamstring) is slated to be a full participant in Wednesday's walk-through, Eric Allen of the Jets' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams, who last saw game action in Week 3, joined the Jets via a trade with the Raiders on Tuesday, and his looming full participation in Wednesday's session -- albeit a walk-through -- has the wideout trending toward playing Sunday against the Steelers. With that in mind, interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich confirmed Wednesday that Adams is expected to play this weekend. Assuming no setbacks with his hamstring as the week progresses, Adams should approach Week 7 action minus an injury designation.
Oct 15, 2024
Planning to make team debut Sunday
Adams (hamstring) is planning to make his Jets debut Sunday against the Steelers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
After he passed a physical earlier Tuesday, Adams officially joined the Jets, who acquired the six-time Pro Bowl wideout from the Raiders in exchange for a 2025 conditional third-round draft pick. Adams had missed the Raiders' last three games with the hamstring injury, but if he's able to resume practicing during the upcoming week without any major restrictions, the Jets likely won't hesitate to include him in the game plan for Sunday. The addition of Adams provides quarterback Aaron Rodgers with a familiar option in the passing game -- the two spent eight seasons together in Green Bay -- and should also help lessen the burden on emerging third-year receiver Garrett Wilson, who had been targeted on 37 percent of Rodgers' pass attempts over the past two weeks. Shortly after the trade was finalized, Schefter relayed that Adams reworked his contract to lower his salary number to $3.21 million for 2024, and his deal includes voidable years in 2025 and 2026. Adams and the Jets will thus wait and see how the remai

Traded to New York official
The Jets acquired Adams (hamstring) from the Raiders on Tuesday in exchange for a 2025 conditional third-round draft pick.
ANALYSIS
The two teams came to terms on the trade earlier Tuesday, but the deal wasn't officially announced until Adams arrived in New York and passed a physical. The Jets evidently aren't too concerned about the hamstring injury that kept Adams out for each of the Raiders' last three games, and the team is hopeful that the wideout will be ready to make his debut this Sunday in Pittsburgh, per Connor Hughes of SNY.tv. Adams will benefit from an upgrade in quarterback play in going from Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell in Las Vegas to Aaron Rodgers in New York, but he'll face stiffer competition for targets as he joins Garrett Wilson in the Jets receiver room. There should be enough looks to go around for both Adams and Wilson to remain productive, however, and Adams' prior experience working with Rodgers in their eight seasons together in Green Bay could give him the inside track to emerge as Option 1A among the two wideouts.
Oct 15, 2024
Set to join Jets
The Jets will acquire Adams from the Raiders on Tuesday in exchange for a conditional third-round draft pick, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
According to Rapoport, the third-round pick can become a second-round pick if Adams reaches unspecified performance-based markers, and Adam Schefter of ESPN notes that the Jets will cover the entirety of the approximately $84 million in salary remaining on the wideout's contract, which runs through the 2026 season. In New York, Adams will reunite with Aaron Rodgers, with whom he spent the first eight seasons of his career in Green Bay. Adams' existing chemistry with Rodgers as well as his familiarity with offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett's scheme should help ease his transition to New York, though the 32-year-old wideout won't be the clear-cut No. 1 pass-catching option he's been for much of his career with third-year receiver Garrett Wilson still around to siphon away some looks in the passing game. Adams had missed the Raiders' last three games with a hamstring injury, but provided he's able to return to practice in some fashion this week, he could make his Jets debut Sunday in Pittsburgh.
Oct 12, 2024
Not certain to be moved
Adams (hamstring) could remain with the Raiders despite recent trade discussions involving the star wideout, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Schefter describes Adams' situation as "fluid and unpredictable" while pointing out that the wideout's trade outlook "seems to change weekly." Among the factors that may play into the likelihood of Adams being traded is his current hamstring injury, which will keep him out of action for a third straight game Sunday, as well as Las Vegas' reported asking price of at least a second-draft pick. Adams' potential to upgrade a team's passing game is unquestioned -- he has four straight campaigns of over 1,100 receiving yards and at least eight TDs on his resume -- but it remains unclear whether an organization will be willing to meet the Raiders' asking price given how coveted high draft picks are around the league.
Oct 11, 2024
Not playing Sunday
Adams (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Steelers, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams is in the midst of his recovery from a hamstring injury, which will force a third straight absence this weekend. Along the way, he made a trade request to the Raiders, who seem to be willing to move on from the 11-year pro. Interested parties are waiting on Adams to get back to full health before committing resources (likely draft capital) for the veteran wide receiver, so his next chance for game action, wherever that may be, will occur Week 7, at the earliest.
Oct 9, 2024
Unlikely to play Week 6
Adams (hamstring) isn't expected to play for the Raiders in Sunday's game against the Steelers, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Though Adams is believed to be nearing full health as he recovers from a hamstring injury that has kept him out for the Raiders' last two contests, he's not trending toward being available this weekend. Adams' expected absence for Week 6 may have less to do with his recovery from the hamstring injury at this point than it does his desire to be traded, and the Raiders could honor that request and hold the wideout out of action until a deal is reached. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Saturday that trade discussions pertaining to Adams are expected to intensify this week, with the Saints and Jets currently viewed as the two favorites to acquire the 31-year-old receiver. The Steelers, Bills and Ravens are among the other teams who are believed to be in touch with the Raiders regarding Adams.
Oct 6, 2024
Nearing full health
Adams (hamstring) is nearing full health and is expected to be ready to play in time for Week 6, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
ANALYSIS
Where Adams will be playing in Week 6 is the big question, as trade chatter has been heating up regarding the veteran wideout. Adams is missing his second straight game Sunday against Denver, but it sounds like he's going to be ready to rock next week. Through three games, Adams has an 18-209-1 receiving line and is still a bonafide No. 1 receiver at 31 years old.
Oct 5, 2024
Trade talks likely to intensify
Trade discussions involving Adams (hamstring) are likely to ramp up next week as additional teams consider offers for the wide receiver, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams informed Las Vegas early this week that he would like to be traded, with the Jets and Saints reportedly his preferred organizations. The star wideout's current hamstring injury will keep him out of the Raiders' Week 5 game versus Denver and could delay the urgency of getting a deal done, but it doesn't seem likely to stand in the way of an eventual trade. Adams has said he is open to playing for several different teams, making a deal more likely to materialize.
Oct 4, 2024
Won't play Sunday
Adams (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams was unable to practice this week, and in his absence versus Denver, Jakobi Meyers, Tre Tucker and DJ Turner are in line to lead the Raiders' Week 5 wide receiver corps. While Adams' playing status this week is now confirmed, look for continued coverage in the coming days focusing on a potential deal to send the star pass catcher elsewhere.
Oct 3, 2024
Remains out from practice
Adams (hamstring) isn't taking part in Thursday's practice, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams has now sat out three straight practices dating back to last Friday and is considered unlikely to play this Sunday in Denver. His continued absence from practice due to the hamstring injury comes after he informed the Raiders on Tuesday that he's seeking a trade, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The Jets top the list of Adams' preferred landing spots, according to Rapoport, but the wideout is reportedly open to several other teams, which could make facilitating a deal easier from the Raiders' standpoint. Las Vegas is looking for at least a second-round pick in exchange for Adams, and while the Raiders seem to be actively entertaining offers, no trade is expected to materialize until the 31-year-old has made a full recovery from the hamstring injury.
Oct 2, 2024
Unlikely to play Week 5
Adams isn't expected to play Sunday against the Broncos due to his hamstring injury, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams -- who didn't practice Wednesday -- is viewed as week-to-week with his injury and is also a candidate to be traded by the Raiders, per Schefter. Regardless of what happens on the latter front, however, Adams is trending toward remaining sidelined this weekend. If that's the case, Jakobi Meyers, Tre Tucker and DJ Turner would be in line to lead the Raiders' receiver corps versus Denver.
Oct 2, 2024
Not practicing
Adams (hamstring) isn't practicing Wednesday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Most of the discussion surrounding Adams entails his desire to be traded, with Adam Schefter of ESPN reporting the Jets and Saints as preferred destinations. Adams seems unlikely to play Week 5, be it for the Raiders or another team, as he's considered week-to-week with a hamstring injury that he suffered during practice last Thursday. His probable absence this Sunday at Denver opens up more playing time for WRs Tre Tucker and DJ Turner, while Jakobi Meyers and TE Brock Bowers figure to handle their usual snap counts but get sizable boosts in target-share projection.
Oct 2, 2024
Wishlist topped by Jets and Saints
Adams (hamstring) is most interested in being traded to either the Jets or Saints, where he would play with a familiar quarterback in either Aaron Rodgers (knee) or Derek Carr, Paul Gutierrez and Katherine Terrell of ESPN report.
ANALYSIS
Adams' trade desire became known Tuesday, and Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Raiders are looking for a return of at least a second-round pick in order to deal the All-Pro wideout, in addition to further compensation. The 31-year-old is on the final guaranteed year of his contract, however, meaning he could be only a one-year rental for a team that acquires him via trade. Seth Walder of ESPN notes that Las Vegas' ample cap space could allow the team to eat some of Adams' salary for the 2024 season, in exchange for better draft capital returns. In any case, landing spots for Adams figure to be limited to contending teams, but Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports that the jets and Cowboys have already expressed preliminary interest to the Raiders, while Josina Anderson of CBS Sports notes that the Steelers, who were previously linked to 49ers wideout Brandon Aiyuk, are also in the mix. Adams missed last Sunday's win over the Browns due to a hamstring injury, for which he's been labeled week-to-week, ma

Desires a trade
Adams (hamstring) informed the Raiders on Tuesday that he prefers to be traded rather than to continue playing in Las Vegas, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams, who missed the Raiders' 20-16 win over the Browns in Week 4 due to a hamstring injury, is unhappy with his current situation has informed the team of a desire to be dealt elsewhere, if not officially requested a trade. Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports that internally, the organization had already planned to reevaluate Adams' tenure in Las Vegas closer to the NFL's official trade deadline on Monday, November 4, but that the wide receiver's public dissatisfaction could result in a move being made earlier. Adams compiled 18 catches for 209 yards and one touchdown on 27 targets through the first three games of the regular season, and there figures to be no shortage of teams around the league interested in inquiring about the veteran wideout's talents, if the Raiders are listening to calls.
Sep 30, 2024
Uncertain for Week 5
Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce said Monday that the status of Adams (hamstring) for Sunday's game against the Broncos will depend on what he's able to do in practice, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams has been described as week-to-week due to the hamstring injury that kept him from suiting up for Las Vegas' 20-16 win over the Browns in Week 4, but it sounds like the standout receiver hasn't yet been ruled out for Week 5. As such, Adams' practice status on Wednesday's first official injury report of the week could be telling as to his chances of suiting up. Jakobi Meyers drew 10 targets with Adams sidelined versus Denver, while Tre Tucker was targeted six times and managed to score a rushing TD. Both will figure to continue handling increased roles until Adams is cleared to return.
Sep 28, 2024
Could miss multiple games
Adams (hamstring) is considered to be week-to-week while nursing his hamstring injury, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams suffered the hamstring injury in the final minutes of the Raiders' practice Thursday and he's already been ruled out for Sunday's matchup with the Browns. Wide receivers and hamstring injuries are typically a bad pairing and if Adams is forced to miss multiple weeks, Tre Tucker will likely be a primary beneficiary of additional touches while offensive fixtures like Jakobi Meyers and Brock Bowers will see extra work as well.
Sep 27, 2024
Won't play Sunday
Coach Antonio Pierce relayed Friday that Adams (hamstring) will be out for Sunday's game against the Browns, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams was added to the Raiders' injury report Thursday after being limited by a hamstring issue, and he'll sit this one out and target a potential return to action Oct. 6 against the Broncos. In his absence, Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker will lead the team's Week 4 WR corps, with DJ Turner, Tyreik McAllister and Ramel Keyton also on hand.
Sep 26, 2024
Added to injury report
Adams (hamstring) was limited at practice Thursday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, so his addition to it a day later makes his status worth monitoring in advance of Sunday's game against the Browns. Friday's final report will reveal whether the Raiders' top WR heads into the weekend with a designation.
Sep 22, 2024
Quiet in loss
Adams recorded four receptions on nine targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 36-22 loss to the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
Adams remained Gardner Minshew's favorite target, as both Tre Tucker and Jakobi Meyers had their stat lines padded in garbage time by Aidan O'Connell. Nevertheless, Adams' struggles due to quarterback play are worth noting, as he now has fewer than 60 yards in two of three games to begin the season. His Week 2 performance makes clear that he can still deliver splash performances, but his results are very likely to remain inconsistent.
Sep 15, 2024
Scores key TD on busy afternoon
Adams brought in nine of 12 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders' 26-23 win over the Ravens on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Adams co-led the Raiders in receptions while setting the pace in both receiving yards and targets in a game with volume reminiscent of his glory days with Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay. Adams' touchdown, a one-yard grab with 3:54 remaining in the fourth quarter, was also critical, as it erased a 23-16 deficit at the time and set the stage for Daniel Carlson's eventual game-winning field goal. Adams now has 18 targets through two games, an encouraging development for his chemistry with Gardner Minshew heading into a favorable Week 3 home matchup against the Panthers.
Sep 8, 2024
Modest Week 1 showing
Adams recorded five receptions on six targets for 59 yards in Sunday's 22-10 loss to the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Adams is likely to struggle to maintain elite efficiency this season given the quarterback situation in Las Vegas, though his target location and volume were both notable in Sunday's loss. Brock Bowers led the Raiders in targets in his first pro game with eight, and Gardner Minshew appeared unwilling to push the ball downfield when targeting Adams as the star wideout was forced to do the majority of his damage after the catch. If these trends persist, Adams will still be a useful fantasy option, though his opportunity for big performances may be limited.
Sep 4, 2024
Good to go
Adams (undisclosed) does not appear on the Raiders' Week 1 injury report.
ANALYSIS
Adams dealt with a minor unspecified issue last month, per Tashan Reed of The Athletic, but Wednesday's injury report confirms that wideout carries no injury concerns ahead of Sunday's Week 1 matchup against the Chargers. The 31-year-old remains entrenched as the Raiders' top WR target, a role that yielded Adams a 103/1,144/8 receiving line in 17 regular-season contest in 2023. Looking ahead, another high-volume campaign should be in store for Adams, who will be catching passes from new starting QB Gardner Minshew.
Aug 18, 2024
Dealing with minor injury
Adams didn't play in Saturday's preseason game against Dallas after he "tweaked something" at practice Wednesday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Despite not suiting up for Las Vegas' second exhibition game, Adams is expected to practice Tuesday, per Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com. It seems unlikely that the star wideout will see any action in the Raiders' final game of the preseason against San Francisco on Friday, as head coach Antonio Pierce stated Saturday that the team's starters won't take part in that contest, according to Reed. If Adams doesn't participate in that contest, he'll go into the regular season without seeing any snaps during the exhibition slate.
Aug 17, 2024
Not suiting up Saturday
Adams isn't in line to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Cowboys, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams missed the Raiders' first exhibition at Minnesota due to the birth of his son, and he now will remain on the sideline for the second iteration. While he has 11 games of experience working with one of the players (Aiden O'Connell) currently vying to be the Week 1 starting QB for Las Vegas, Adams has yet to get any in-game reps with offseason signing Gardner Minshew. No matter who is under center for the team in the regular season, Adams remains productive on a per-game basis, having averaged 78.2 receiving yards and scoring 22 touchdowns in 34 regular-season games as a Raider.
Aug 12, 2024
Back with teammates
Adams rejoined his teammates Sunday after the recent birth of his son, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams missed the last five practices before he was absent from Saturday's preseason loss at Minnesota, according to coach Antonio Pierce. It's unclear if Adams will make an appearance during one of the Raiders' last two exhibitions, but the quarterback throwing him passes Week 1 and beyond seemingly will be known after Saturday's contest against the Cowboys. Pierce is expected to make a call between veteran Gardner Minshew and second-year pro Aidan O'Connell this weekend, but even with five different QBs targeting Adams in two campaigns in Las Vegas, he's surpassed 1,100 yards on both occasions while recording 22 touchdowns in 34 regular-season games.
Apr 14, 2024
Intends to remain with Las Vegas
Adams said Sunday at his annual youth football camp that he intends to play for the Raiders next season, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
There was some speculation early in the offseason that the Raiders could pursue trading their star wideout, but general manager Tom Telesco shot that idea down in late February. Adams' comments Sunday seem to solidify the expectation that he'll remain with Las Vegas for a third campaign in 2024. Adams reached the 100-reception mark for the fourth straight season in 2023, but his 1,144 receiving yards and eight receiving touchdowns were his lowest totals since 2019, when he played in only 12 games due to a toe injury.
Feb 27, 2024
No trade planned
Raiders GM Tom Telesco said Tuesday that Adams won't be traded this offseason, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams has three seasons remaining on his contract, including a full guarantee of his $16.89 million base salary for 2024. The number is reasonable enough that he'd have considerable trade value, but it sounds like the Raiders are more inclined to keep him around, figuring the 31-year-old wideout can not only help them win games but also get a better evaluation on whoever ends up playing quarterback. That said, Telesco might change his mind if another team makes a strong offer.
Feb 10, 2024
Won't be disciplined by league
The NFL will not discipline Adams for the 2022 incident in which he shoved a photographer following a loss to Kansas City, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams pushed a photographer as he was leaving the field following the 2022 defeat, and the star wideout was originally charged with misdemeanor assault. That charge was later dismissed, but the NFL's investigation into the incident remained open. It now appears that the league's probe has been closed with a decision to not dole out any discipline to Adams. From a fantasy perspective, that means managers won't have to ponder whether Adams will need to miss any games as a result of the incident, though his 2024 ADP may be due for a drop after he posted his lowest receiving yardage and touchdown totals in four years last season.
Jan 7, 2024
Scores to end season
Adams caught five of eight targets for 46 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-14 win over the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
Adams hauled in a three-yard touchdown to close the second quarter, marking his eighth score of the season. With five grabs, Adams also topped the 100-catch plateau for the fourth straight year, finishing the campaign with 103 receptions on 175 targets for 1,144 yards and the aforementioned eight TDs. Even with inconsistent quarterback play, Adams remains one of the league's most impactful wideouts, making him a reliable commodity heading into the offseason.
Dec 31, 2023
Massive numbers in Indy
Adams caught 13 of 21 targets for 126 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Colts.
ANALYSIS
The wideout was by far Aidan O'Connell's favorite target on the afternoon, as Jakobi Meyers was a distant second on the Raiders with a 6-56-0 line on 10 targets. Adams has topped the century mark in yards and gotten into the end zone in two of the last three games, and the late-season surge has left him just two catches short of his fifth career campaign with 100 receptions and 1,000 receiving yards. While his future with the Raiders remains uncertain and the team has been eliminated from the postseason, expect Adams to at least play enough in Week 18 against the Broncos to reach that milestone.
Dec 25, 2023
Quiet performance in Week 16
Adams gathered in just one of six targets for four yards during Monday's 20-14 win in Kansas City.
ANALYSIS
Chiefs cornerback L'Jarius Sneed had the unenviable task of covering Adams, and the result was the wide receiver's quietest outing of the season. It was a far cry from the 8-101-1 line on 12 targets that Adams put together in a Week 15 win against the Chargers, and he also remains 28 yards shy of his fourth consecutive 1,000-yard campaign with two games to play in the regular season. He'll look to get back on track Sunday at Indianapolis.
Dec 15, 2023
Vintage performance in win
Adams brought in eight of 12 targets for 101 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders' 63-21 win over the Chargers on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Adams led the Raiders in receptions, receiving yards and targets across the board in the completely unexpected offensive breakout from a team that had been shut out just four days earlier. The perennial Pro Bowl wideout contributed to the jaw-dropping point total with a three-yard scoring grab on a pass from Jakobi Meyers=that capped the opening drive of the second half and served as Adams' fourth touchdown of the campaign. Adams' yardage total also qualified as his second highest of the campaign and second one over the century mark, affording him plenty of momentum going into a Week 16 divisional road showdown against the Chiefs on Christmas Day.
Dec 14, 2023
Suits up Thursday
Adams (illness) is listed as active for Thursday night's game against the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Adams approached the game listed as questionable after an illness led to him being deemed a non-participant in Wednesday's walk-through session, but now that his Week 15 availability has been confirmed, the wideout should be able to maintain his high-volume role in the Raiders' passing game. Through 13 games this season, Adams leads the team with a PPR-friendly 76 catches (on 128 targets) for 867 yards and four touchdowns.
Dec 14, 2023
Expected to go Thursday
Adams (illness) remains listed as questionable but is expected to play Thursday against the Chargers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams is carrying an injury designation into the Week 15 contest after an illness prevented him from participating in Wednesday's walk-through session, but whatever ailment the receiver is battling doesn't seem to be anything that will keep him off the field Thursday. Official confirmation on Adams' availability will arrive approximately 90 minutes before the game's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, when Las Vegas will release its inactive list. Raiders interim coach Antonio Pierce has been non-committal on a starting quarterback for Thursday, but the expectation is that Adams will be working with rookie Aidan O'Connell for the sixth game in a row.
Dec 13, 2023
Feeling ill, deemed questionable
Adams missed Wednesday's practice with an illness and is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Adams previously wasn't listed on the Week 15 injury report, so it seems he first started feeling ill either Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. With not much else known about the situation, fantasy managers should track the situation carefully before inserting Adams into lineups this week. It's also unclear if Aidan O'Connell or Jimmy Garoppolo will be the starting quarterback for Las Vegas come Thursday night.

Leading receiver in Week 14 loss
Adams caught seven of 10 targets for 53 yards in Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
The Raiders' offense couldn't get anything going in the NFL's lowest-scoring game since 2007, but Adams still saw solid target volume and was the team's leading receiver. He's seen double-digit targets in three of the last four games, but Sunday's yardage was his lowest output in that stretch. Adams will look to take advantage of a good Week 15 matchup against the Chargers, who he posted an 8-75-0 line against on 13 targets in their first meeting this season.
Nov 26, 2023
Steady production with rookie QB
Adams had five receptions on seven targets for 73 yards in Sunday's 31-17 loss to Kansas City.
ANALYSIS
Adams finished a close second in receiving for Las Vegas on Sunday behind fellow starter Jakobi Meyers (6-79-1), with both receivers finishing in a tie for the team lead with seven targets apiece. Rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell has shown a good rapport with Adams since taking over as the Raiders' starter back in Week 9, producing averages of 5.5 catches and 68.8 receiving yards for the veteran superstar since the switch was made under center. Adams will get to rest during Las Vegas' upcoming bye week before resuming play against the Vikings on Dec. 10.
Nov 19, 2023
Paces pass catchers in loss
Adams secured seven of 13 targets for 82 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders' 20-13 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Adams led the Raiders in receptions, receiving yards and targets in the contest, and he added his fourth touchdown of the campaign and first since Week 3 on a 46-yard grab on the final play of the first quarter. Adams has encouragingly been more involved since the switch to Antonio Pierce and Aidan O'Connell at head coach and quarterback, respectively, posting a 17-202-1 line on 33 targets in that three-game span. Adams will have a chance to keep building momentum in a Week 12 home showdown against the Chiefs.
Nov 13, 2023
Commands 13 targets on SNF
Adams converted 13 targets into six receptions for 86 yards in Sunday's 16-12 win over the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Adams finally returned to form after tallying just five receptions for 45 yards over his previous two starts. The superstar wideout led Las Vegas in every receiving category minus touchdowns, which went to rookie tight end Michael Mayer who caught the only offensive touchdown from either side on Sunday Night Football. Las Vegas' quarterback situation isn't ideal for a receiver of Adams' talent level, but he should continue receiving healthy target totals while developing chemistry with rookie starter Aidan O'Connell in the second half of the season. The starting QB/WR duo could find themselves busy if the Raiders hope to outscore Miami's high-flying offense next Sunday.
Nov 5, 2023
Paltry results with new QB
Adams had four receptions on seven targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 30-6 win over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Adams' recent woes in fantasy continued Sunday with another pedestrian receiving line, this time with new starting quarterback Aiden O'Connell under center. The rookie signal-caller performed adequately as the Raiders picked up the win in interim head coach Antonio Pierce's first game taking over for Josh McDaniels. Adams was left out of the party despite leading the team in targets, having to deal with double and even triple teams on occasions Sunday. The star receiver is averaging just 3.6 receptions and 35.2 receiving yards with no touchdowns over his last five appearances. Adams' cold stretch has stagnated his season line at 51-573-3 following a hot start to the fantasy campaign. The superstar's combination of talent and targets should keep him in fantasy starting lineups for next Sunday's matchup against the Jets.
Oct 31, 2023
One catch on seven MNF targets
Adams caught one of seven targets for 11 yards in Monday's 26-14 loss to the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Adams was held without a catch in the first half as Jimmy Garoppolo mustered only 31 first-half passing yards in the quarterback's return from a back injury. The star receiver finally got into the box score with an 11-yard catch on the first play of the second half, but that was his only reception, even though Adams was the only Raider with more than four targets in this one. Garoppolo finished with just 126 yards and missed Adams open a few times, including on a deep ball in the fourth quarter that would have produced a touchdown with an accurate throw. Vegas has been intent on keeping Adams ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline, and assuming the team doesn't have a last-minute change of heart in that regard, Adams will hope for better play from Garoppolo in Week 9 against the Giants.
Oct 22, 2023
Seven grabs in Sunday's loss
Adams caught seven of 12 targets for 57 yards in Sunday's 30-12 loss to the Bears.
ANALYSIS
The three-time All-Pro receiver led the Raiders in receiving yards while seeing double-digit targets for the first time since Week 4, but the volume didn't result in outstanding numbers with the aging Brian Hoyer getting the start under center in place of Jimmy Garoppolo (back). Garoppolo is expected back in Week 8 against the Lions, but Adams has still been held under 60 yards in three straight games, and Las Vegas' issues on offense extend beyond the health of the team's starting QB.
Oct 19, 2023
Practices fully Thursday
Adams (shoulder) returned to a full practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Adams, who has been managing a shoulder issue of late, was limited Wednesday, but his return to all activity one day later sets the stage for the Raiders' top wideout to start Sunday against the Bears alongside Jakobi Meyers. Per Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com, Adams acknowledged some frustration Wednesday about having seen a combined nine targets over his last two games, but chances are the Raiders will look to get him the ball more in the coming weeks. However, this weekend, Adams figures to be catching passes from either Brian Hoyer or Aidan O'Connell, with starting QB Jimmy Garoppolo (back) expected to be out versus Chicago.
Oct 18, 2023
Limited practice Wednesday
Adams (shoulder) was limited at practice Wednesday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams has been managing a shoulder issue over the last couple of weeks, but he approached this past Sunday's win over the Patriots without an injury designation (after not practicing last Wednesday and being limited Thursday) and ended up recording a 91 percent snap share in the contest. With no reported setbacks, we'll operate under the assumption that Adams' listed limitations this time around were maintenance-related and that he'll be available this weekend against the Bears.
Oct 15, 2023
Focus of defense Sunday
Adams finished with two receptions on five targets for 29 yards in Sunday's 21-17 win over the Patriots.
ANALYSIS
Adams suffered the fate many top wideouts have before him against Patriots defenses coached under Bill Belichick, absorbing the majority of the opponent's coverage and finishing with a poor fantasy line. The star wideout also absorbed a hard hit from safety Jabrill Peppers in the first half of Sunday's win, but he was fortunately able to stay in the game. Adams entered the contest nursing a banged up shoulder, so his fantasy managers appear to have dodged an injury bullet. Starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (back) wasn't as lucky and left the game with a back injury, so Adams may have backup Brian Hoyer under center for Week 7's tilt against the Bears next Sunday.
Oct 13, 2023
No injury tag for Week 6
Adams (shoulder) practiced fully Friday and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Listed as questionable ahead of this past Monday's game against Green Bay, Adams ultimately suited up in the Raiders' 17-13 win, playing 94 percent of the snaps on offense while finishing with four catches for 45 yards on four targets. Despite the quicker turnaround for the Week 6 game, Adams won't carry an injury designation into the contest after he apparently came out of Monday's win no worse for the wear. After a subpar showing against Green Bay, Adams could bounce back versus a depleted Patriots secondary that currently has four cornerbacks on injured reserve, including impressive rookie first-round pick Christian Gonzalez (shoulder).
Oct 12, 2023
Listed as limited Thursday
Adams (shoulder) was listed as limited on Thursday's practice estimate.
ANALYSIS
The Raiders held a walk-though Thursday, but Adams' listed upgrade from non-participation on Wednesday's estimate is nonetheless a positive sign regarding the wideout's status for Sunday's game against the Patriots. That said, Adams will presumably need to practice fully Friday in order to avoid heading into the weekend with a Week 6 injury designation.
Oct 11, 2023
Listed as DNP
Adams (shoulder) is listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report, Anthony Galaviz of The Fresno Bee reports.
ANALYSIS
It's the same shoulder injury Adams played through Monday in a 17-13 win over the Packers, and he'll likely be ready for a matchup with the Patriots this Sunday even if he doesn't practice much (or at all) this week. He drew only four targets against his former team Monday, though he caught all four (for 45 yards) and played 94 percent of available snaps.
Oct 9, 2023
Suits up for 45 yards Monday
Adams (shoulder) hauled in all four of his targets for 45 yards in Monday's 17-13 win over the Packers.
ANALYSIS
Adams carried a questionable tag through the weekend with a banged up shoulder, creating a lineup dilemma for fantasy managers heading into Week 5. The Raiders' No. 1 wideout was healthy enough to suit up and help his team secure the win, but even he admitted in a post-game interview that the shoulder affected his play Monday. Adams' four targets were well below his season average of 12.5, and he was sitting at one reception for most of the contest before making three crucial catches on what turned out to be the game-winning drive. The positive takeaway from Monday's win was that Adams did not appear to suffer a setback to his shoulder, giving him a strong chance to be ready for next week's tilt versus the Patriots on Sunday.
Oct 9, 2023
Suits up Monday
Adams (shoulder) is listed as active for Monday night's game against the Packers.
ANALYSIS
After working through a shoulder injury during a Week 4 loss to the Chargers in which he caught eight of his 13 targets for 75 yards, Adams missed practice this past Thursday and Friday before returning to a limited session Saturday and drawing an official designation of questionable for Monday's contest. With his active status versus Green Bay confirmed, Adams should remain a key receiving target for QB Jimmy Garoppolo while facing the team that he played for between 2014 and 2021. In four games to date this season, Adams has racked up a fantasy-friendly 33 catches (on 50 targets) for 397 yards and three TDs.
Oct 9, 2023
Expected to play Monday
Adams (shoulder) is expected to suit up for Monday's matchup against the Packers, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams, who is officially listed as questionable for Monday Night Football, is expected to be active against his former team. The All-Pro wideout has only practiced once since injuring his shoulder in Week 4, logging a limited session Saturday, but he may have extra motivation to suit up Monday. Official confirmation of Adams' status will arrive closer to the 8:15 p.m. EDT kickoff.
Oct 7, 2023
Questionable for primetime game
Adams (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Monday's primetime contest against the Packers, Anthony Galaviz of The Fresno Bee reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams returned to practice in limited fashion Saturday for the first time this week, paving the way for the All-Pro wideout to potentially play come Monday. While fantasy managers might have to sweat Adam's status closer to Monday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, neither the Raiders nor the veteran have seemingly released any information that suggests the star target would miss a chance to play against his former team.
Oct 7, 2023
Returning to practice Saturday
Adams (shoulder) is expected to practice in some capacity Saturday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It remains to be seen what level of practice participation Adams will garner, but given the All-Pro target returned to Sunday's game after injuring his shoulder, it would be surprising if the veteran ultimately wasn't deemed healthy enough to play against his former team Monday night. Expect more information to be revealed in the coming hours.
Oct 6, 2023
Remains sidelined Friday
Adams (shoulder) didn't practice Friday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams also didn't practice Thursday, which sets the stage for what he does during Saturday's session to be pivotal with regard to his chances of suiting up Monday night against the Packers. If Adams ends up out or limited versus Green Bay, Tre Tucker and DeAndre Carter would be candidates to see added Week 5 WR snaps for the Raiders behind Jakobi Meyers and Hunter Renfrow.
Oct 5, 2023
Not practicing Thursday
Adams (shoulder) won't practice Thursday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams exited this past Sunday's loss to the Chargers with a shoulder injury, but subsequently returned to action and was able to log 63 of a possible 73 snaps on offense while catching eight of his 13 targets for 75 yards. With an absence from practice Thursday on tap, Adams' status is now worth tracking as Monday night's game against the Packers approaches, but as long as the wideout avoids any setbacks we suspect that he'll continue to play through his shoulder issue in Week 5.
Oct 1, 2023
Overcomes shoulder injury
Adams recorded eight receptions on 13 targets for 75 yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Adams had a few obstacles to a productive day, the first of which was having fourth-round rookie Aidan O'Connell under center. He also suffered a shoulder injury in the first half and entered halftime having failed to record a catch. However, with the Raiders trying to catch up on the scoreboard, he managed to turn in a respectable performance thanks to a huge amount of volume in the second half. It was far from Adams' most efficient performance, but considering the challenges he faced, it was a more than passable effort.
Oct 1, 2023
Returns to Sunday's contest
Adams, who exited Sunday's game against the Chargers with a shoulder injury, was subsequently able to return to action, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Prior to his exit, Adams didn't catch his lone target, but it looks like the Raiders' top wideout will now have chance to get back in gear during the second half of Sunday's tilt.
Oct 1, 2023
Injures shoulder Sunday
Adams was forced out of Sunday's game against the Chargers with a shoulder injury.
ANALYSIS
Prior to his exit, Adams didn't record a catch in the contest. In his absence, Jakobi Meyers, Hunter Renfrow, Tre Tucker and DeAndre Carter are available to handle the Raiders' Week 4 WR duties.
Sep 25, 2023
Goes off for two scores on SNF
Adams (head) corralled 13 of his game-high 19 targets for 172 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 23-18 loss to the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Adams was in prime form for a nationally-televised matchup against a defense coming off of a dominant performance in Week 2. The 30-year-old's impressive play confirmed reports of good health after he was knocked out of last week's tilt with concerns of a head injury. Adams' valiant effort wasn't enough to lift the Raiders past a 16-point deficit in the fourth quarter, but he certainly helped fantasy managers with a monster point total to close out Sunday's action. The star wideout could be looking at another big game against the Chargers' league-worst pass defense next Sunday.
Sep 18, 2023
Healthy after early Week 2 exit
Coach Josh McDaniels said Monday that Adams (head) is "good" after having been forced out of Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Bills, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams was evaluated for a concussion Sunday, but it appears the star wideout retains a clean bill of health. He recorded six catches on eight targets for 84 yards and a score before exiting the Week 2 loss. Fellow wideout Jakobi Meyers was forced to sit out versus Buffalo due to a concussion, so it will be worth monitoring whether he can gain clearance and rejoin Adams on the field when the Raiders take on the Steelers in Week 3.
Sep 17, 2023
May have concussion
Adams, who was forced out of Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Bills, is being evaluated for a concussion.
ANALYSIS
Prior to his exit from the contest, Adams caught six of his eight targets for 84 yards and a TD. Now that Adams is under evaluation for a possible concussion, his status will need to be monitored ahead of next Sunday's game against the Steelers. The same applies to fellow WR Jakobi Meyers, who was unavailable versus Buffalo due to a concussion.
Sep 17, 2023
Exits Sunday's game
Adams headed to the locker during Sunday's game against the Bills due to an unspecified issue, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Per Tashan Reed of The Athletic, it appeared as though Adams took a hit to his head late in the contest. We'll look for added context regarding Adams' exit via the team, but prior to his departure the wideout had recorded six catches on eight targets for 84 yards and a TD.
Sep 14, 2023
Returns to full practice
Adams (foot) practiced fully Thursday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After missing Wednesday's practice, Adams returned to a full session Thursday, which sets the stage for him to lead the Raiders' WR corps Sunday against the Bills. In the team's Week 1 win over the Broncos, Adams caught six of his nine targets for 66 yards, while starting opposite Jakobi Meyers, who hasn't practiced this week due to a concussion.
Sep 13, 2023
Misses practice with foot issue
Adams was held out of Wednesday's practice with a foot injury.
ANALYSIS
There was no sign of trouble in Sunday when Adams ran a route on every pass play in a 17-16 win over Denver. He finished with 6-66-0 on nine targets while mostly matching up with Broncos Patrick Surtain, and the wideout will get another tricky draw Week 2 at Buffalo if he's able to overcome the foot injury. The Raiders may need Adams even more than usual, if that's possible, considering Jakobi Meyers is in concussion protocol and depth receiver DeAndre Carter missed practice with a knee injury Wednesday.
Sep 10, 2023
Targeted nine times in win
Adams (leg) corralled six of his nine targets for 66 yards in Sunday's 17-16 win over Denver.
ANALYSIS
Adams had a pedestrian stat line by his lofty standards, but it was good to see him out there for the season opener after suffering a minor leg injury late in camp. New quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo targeted his star wideout nine times, but it was fellow new addition Jakobi Meyers who cashed in on both passing touchdowns Sunday. The latter is dealing with a potential head injury, so Adams could be in store for even more targets against the Bills on Sunday.
Aug 16, 2023
Back at practice
Adams (leg) is slated to practice Wednesday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
An apparent right leg injury caused Adams to exit this past Friday's practice, but evidently it was a minor issue, given that the star pass catcher is set to take the field less than a week later. As Week 1 approaches, Adams remains the top option in a Raiders wide receiver corps that also includes newcomer Jakobi Meyers and returning slot man Hunter Renfrow.
Aug 11, 2023
Injury reportedly minor
The apparent right leg issue that caused Adams to exit Friday's practice is believed to be minor, according to Tashan Reed of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Adams' status is nonetheless something to monitor, but Reed's report suggests that the wideout avoided a major injury after walking off the field gingerly Friday. In any case, Adams' early exit from practice clouds his availability for Sunday's preseason opener against the 49ers.
Aug 11, 2023
Exits Friday's practice
Adams headed to the locker room during Friday's practice after sustaining what appeared to be a right leg injury, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
ANALYSIS
Bonsignore noted that Adams was limping slightly after absorbing a hit during 11-on-11 drills. Until further information is available, consider the Raiders' top wideout day-to-day ahead of Sunday's preseason opener against the 49ers.
Jul 14, 2023
Continues to lead WR corps
Heading into the 2023 season, Adams is in line to continue to lead a Raiders' wide receiver corps that also features newcomer Jakobi Meyers and slot man Hunter Renfrow, Carter Landis of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Also in the WR mix (among others) are Phillip Dorsett, DeAndre Carter, Keelan Cole and rookie third-rounder Tre Tucker, but Adams remains the team's undisputed top option after racking up 100 catches for 1,516 yards and 14 TDs (on 180 targets) in 17 games last season. While the 30-year-old will no doubt continue to handle plenty of volume in 2023, and thus maintain a high level of fantasy utility, Adams will no longer be catching passes from Derek Carr. Instead, he's slated to work with Jimmy Garoppolo, assuming the veteran signal-caller bounces back smoothly from left foot surgery. Either way, look for Las Vegas' offense to be paced by Adams and starting RB Josh Jacobs, who led the NFL in rushing last year.
Jan 7, 2023
Closes season with 73 yards
Adams recorded five receptions on nine targets for 73 yards in Saturday's 31-13 win over the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Adams paced the Raiders in targets and yards, though his overall output was modest. He delivered long gains of 22, 18 and 13 yards to highlight his day, but he still produced fewer than 100 yards for the fourth time in his last five games. Adams finished his first season with the Raiders with 100 receptions, 1,516 yards and 14 touchdowns. He'll return to Las Vegas for 2023, though it's unclear who his quarterback will be.
Jan 4, 2023
Returns to full practice
Adams (illness) was a full practice participant Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
The return to a full practice confirms Adams will be ready to go Saturday against the Chiefs, hoping to continue his success with QB Jarrett Stidham, who also upgraded to full participation Saturday. The 30-year-old wideout caught seven of 11 targets for 153 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 37-34 loss to the 49ers, benefiting from a shockingly effective performance by Stidham.
Jan 3, 2023
Dealing with illness
Adams was listed as limited on Tuesday's practice estimate due to an illness, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams is coming off a huge performance this past Sunday against the 49ers in which he put up seven catches (on 11 targets) for 153 yards and two touchdowns. Now with an illness in tow, he may operate with a cap on his reps both Wednesday and Thursday to ensure he's as healthy as possible ahead of Saturday's scheduled 4:30 p.m. ET kickoff.
Jan 1, 2023
Leads NFL with 14 receiving TDs
Adams had seven receptions (11 targets) for 153 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 37-34 overtime loss to San Francisco.
ANALYSIS
Adams broke out of his recent slump by scoring his league-leading 13th and 14th receiving touchdowns against the No. 1 ranked pass defense. Las Vegas' offense looked more explosive with new quarterback Jarrett Stidham under center, which is a great sign for the star wideout moving forward. The Raiders were unable to keep their playoff hopes alive, but Adams and Stidham will look to build off of this promising showing to close out the regular season against the Chiefs next Sunday.
Dec 24, 2022
Only two catches in Week 16
Adams reeled in two of nine targets for 15 yards during Saturday's 13-10 loss in Pittsburgh.
ANALYSIS
Despite having their full allotment of skill-position talent, the Raiders had all sorts of trouble getting anything going on the ground or through the air Week 16. Mustering just 143 net passing yards didn't do them any favors, and Adams finished with less than 40 receiving yards for the fifth occasion in 15 games this season. Since going off for 120-plus yards four times in five contests between Weeks 9 and 13, he's combined for a 9-114-0 line on 25 targets over the last three. Adams will have a difficult task on his hands Week 17 versus the 49ers' No. 1 ranked defense in terms of yards and points allowed.
Dec 18, 2022
Shut down by Pats
Adams caught four of nine targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Patriots.
ANALYSIS
The New England secondary made sure Adams wasn't going to beat them, and he got held to his lowest yardage total since Week 8. He averaged 7.3 catches for 122.5 yards and 1.2 TDs in the six games between those duds however, a level Adams will aim to return to in Week 16 against the Steelers.
Dec 8, 2022
Production takes hit in loss
Adams secured three of seven targets for 71 yards in the Raiders' 17-16 loss to the Rams on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Adams led the Raiders in receptions, receiving yards and targets as customary, but on a night when Derek Carr threw for only 137 yards, that didn't add up to very meaningful production. The frustrating night for the Raiders' passing attack and Adams in particular was fittingly capped off by a game-sealing interception for the Rams on a 26-yard pass intended for the All-Pro receiver, who posted his lowest reception and yardage totals since Week 8. Adams does have over 70 receiving yards in six straight contests, a streak he'll aim to extend in a Week 15 Monday night home battle versus the Patriots.
Dec 4, 2022
Torches Chargers in win
Adams caught eight of 12 targets for 177 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
The 29-year-old's chemistry with Derek Carr, and the lack of other healthy, reliable options in the Raiders passing game, continues to lead to some mind-boggling numbers for Adams. While Sunday's 177 yards set a new personal best in a Las Vegas jersey, he's posted three multi-TD performances in the last five games and topped 120 receiving yards in four of them, a stretch in which he's amassed a staggering 41-664-7 line on 67 targets. Even if the team gets Hunter Renfrow (oblique) or Darren Waller (hamstring) back for Thursday's game against the Rams, Adams doesn't seem likely to slow down against a secondary that just allowed DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett to combine for 17 catches, 255 yards and two TDs against it.
Nov 27, 2022
Leading receiver against Seattle
Adams caught seven of 11 targets for 74 yards in Sunday's 40-34 overtime win over the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
The former Packer led the Raiders in catches and targets while tying Josh Jacobs for the team lead in receiving yards. While his TD streak ended at three games, Adams has double-digit targets and at least seven grabs in four straight contests, and he sits just one yard shy of his fourth career 1,000-yard campaign -- a mark he should reach early in a Week 13 clash with the Chargers.
Nov 20, 2022
Scores twice in victory
Adams recorded seven receptions on 13 targets for 141 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 22-16 win over the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
Adams earned double-digit targets for the third consecutive game and shredded the Denver secondary for scores of 31 and 35 yards. The latter was his longest catch of the day and also accounted for the game-winning touchdown, and he also turned in two additional receptions of more than 20 yards. Adams has surpassed 100 receiving yards in each of his last three matchups while also scoring five touchdowns in that span.
Nov 20, 2022
Suits up Sunday
Adams is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
The Raiders' top pass catcher, who was limited at practice this past week, approached the contest officially listed as questionable, but Adams will be available Sunday. In the absence of any setbacks, the wideout should maintain a high-volume role in Las Vegas' passing game, which will be without the services slot man Hunter Renfrow (hamstring/ribs) and top tight end Darren Waller (hamstring), with both currently on IR.
Nov 20, 2022
Expected to play
Adams (abdomen), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Denver, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams was able to practice all week but was limited. Despite this report, fantasy managers will still want to confirm his status when inactives are released about 90 minutes before the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff on Sunday.
Nov 18, 2022
Status up in air for Sunday
Adams (abdomen) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Denver, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After managing three consecutive limited sessions this week as he tends to an abdominal injury, Adams will enter the weekend with a designation for the second time as a member of the Raiders. His Week 11 matchup doesn't kick off until 4:05 p.m. ET on Sunday, so his status won't be confirmed until about 90 minutes prior. With that knowledge, it may be tough to pivot to another option if Adams is inactive, but if he's available, he'll be looking to replicate the 9-101-0 performance that he put up on the Broncos on 13 targets back in Week 4. Helping his cause is the fact Las Vegas' top tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) and fellow wide receiver Hunter Renfrow (oblique) currently are on injured reserve.
Nov 17, 2022
Limited practice Thursday
Adams (abdomen) remained limited at practice Thursday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams was also limited Wednesday, so he'll likely need to practice fully Friday in order to avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Broncos. If available, Adams should retain a high volume role in the Raiders' Week 11 passing game, which will continue to operate without slot man Hunter Renfrow (hamstring/ribs) and tight end Darren Waller (hamstring), who are both on IR.
Nov 16, 2022
Limited at practice
Adams (abdomen) was limited in practice Wednesday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
In this past Sunday's 25-20 loss to the Colts, Adams was on the field for 65 of a possible 70 snaps on offense, and in the process the Raiders' top wideout caught nine of his 14 targets for 126 yards and TD. While Adams' appearance on Wednesday's injury report makes his status worth monitoring, so far there's been nothing to suggest that his availability for this weekend's game against the Broncos is in danger.
Nov 13, 2022
Tops century mark again
Adams caught nine of 14 targets for 126 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 25-20 loss to the Colts.
ANALYSIS
For the fifth time this season Adams hauled in over 100 yards, and for the sixth time in nine games he found his way into the end zone, but once again his impressive production didn't help the Raiders pull out a win. The former Packer is on pace for his fourth career season with 100-plus catches and over 1,300 receiving yards, and his sixth campaign with double-digit TDs, heading into a Week 11 clash with an elite Broncos secondary he still beat for a 9-101-0 line on 13 targets in their first meeting this year.
Nov 10, 2022
Target share could increase
Adams will be a candidate to see more work out of the slot in the weeks to come with the Raiders placing Hunter Renfrow (oblique) on injured reserve Thursday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams has already earned a massive 31 percent of the Raiders' targets this season, but his looks in the passing offense could climb even further while Renfrow and top tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) are sidelined for at least the next four games with both players headed for injured reserve. Foster Moreau will absorb the majority of Waller's snaps and targets, but the Raiders are left with an unimpressive collection of depth wideouts in Mack Hollins, Keelan Cole and DJ Turner to pick up work in place of Renfrow. While all three of those depth options should see their profiles on offense expand to some extent, Adams could also build on his season-long average of 10.6 targets per game, especially if he sees more work in the slot, where the Raiders would be able to more easily manufacture catchable short-yardage passes for him than if he were playing on the perimeter. While monstrous outings like the 10-146-2 receiving line on 17 targets that Adams turned in Week 9 against the Jaguars shouldn't be expected to

Peppered with 17 targets
Adams recorded 10 receptions on 17 targets for 146 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Jaguars.
ANALYSIS
Adams got to off a fast start by tallying each of the Raiders' first two touchdowns from 25 and 38 yards, respectively. He appeared to be in for an even bigger performance but managed only one reception for zero yards in the second half as Las Vegas' offense completely stalled in the final two quarters. Despite the slow end to the performance, Adams was targeted on 17 of Derek Carr's 36 pass attempts and no other receiver on the team commanded more than five targets. Adams has now topped 100 receiving yards in four of eight contests on the campaign.
Nov 3, 2022
Submits full practice
Adams (illness) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams' ability to take every rep Thursday confirms that he was likely limited for maintenance purposes in the Raiders' first Week 9 session Wednesday. After managing just one limited practice a week ago while he contended with flu-like symptoms, Adams suited up for Sunday's 24-0 loss to the Saints but struggled mightily, reeling in just one of five targets for three yards. With the illness further in the rear-view mirror, Adams could be in line for a bounce-back performance this weekend in Jacksonville.
Nov 2, 2022
Listed with illness still
Adams (illness) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The decision to limit his practice reps and list Adams on the injury report for a second straight week can be taken as a sign that he wasn't at full strength in Sunday's 24-0 loss to the Saints. He caught only one pass for three yards in the contest, snapping a streak of 81 games with multiple receptions. Adams should bounce back this weekend in Jacksonville, though there will still be a degree of concern if he remains limited in practice (or misses a session) Thursday/Friday.
Oct 30, 2022
Totals two yards
Adams caught one of five targets for three yards and rushed once for a loss of a yard in Sunday's 24-0 loss to the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Adams was completely neutralized by New Orleans' secondary, resulting in his worst performance of the season. In fact, Adams' mere three receiving yards marked the second-lowest total of his decorated nine-year career. Following such an uncharacteristic outing, Adams at least has a good chance to rebound while facing the Jaguars in Week 9.
Oct 30, 2022
Suits up Sunday
Adams (illness) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Saints.
ANALYSIS
After missing two straight days of practice due to an illness, Adams returned to a limited session Friday, and he'll be available Sunday versus New Orleans. In the process, the Raiders' top wideout should continue to see his share of targets from QB Derek Carr in Week 8. To date, Adams has recorded a fantasy-friendly 37 catches (on 63 targets) for 509 yards and five TDs through six contests.
Oct 29, 2022
Expected to play Sunday
Adams, who's listed as questionable due to an illness, is expected to play Sunday against the Saints, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams missed the first two practices of Week 8 prep due to an illness but returned as a limited participant Friday and continues to trend in the right direction Saturday. Regardless, Fantasy managers are still encouraged to confirm the star wideout's availability prior to Sunday's 1:00 PM ET kickoff.
Oct 28, 2022
Listed as questionable after limited practice
Adams (illness) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Saints after returning to a limited practice Friday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams missed two straight days of practice due to an illness, but the wideout's return to the field Friday has him trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's contest. Fortunately for those relying on Adams in Week 8 fantasy lineups, the Raiders kick off at 1:00 ET on Sunday, so his playing status will be confirmed prior to the first wave of NFL kickoffs this weekend.
Oct 28, 2022
Back at practice
Adams (illness) returned to practice Friday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, but his return to the field Friday bodes well for his chances of playing Sunday against the Saints. The Raiders' final Week 8 injury report is destined to reveal whether the wideout heads into the weekend with an injury designation or fully cleared to play.
Oct 28, 2022
Could practice Friday
Coach Josh McDaniels noted that he "hopes" to see Adams (illness) at practice Friday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site indicates that a stomach bug has been going around the team's locker room, with Adams having missed the last two days of practice. A return to the field Friday in any capacity would bode well for the wideout's chances of playing Sunday against the Saints, though it remains to be seen if Adams will head into the weekend with a Week 8 injury designation.
Oct 27, 2022
Reportedly dealing with the flu
Adams missed practice for a second straight day Thursday due to what's being described as a bad case of the flu, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Pelissero notes that there's optimism Adams will bounce back in time to be ready to go Sunday against the Saints, a notion that would be supported by the wideout's return to practice, in any capacity, Friday.
Oct 27, 2022
Not practicing Thursday
Adams (illness) wasn't spotted at practice Thursday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The wideout didn't practice Wednesday, so what he's able to do Friday will be key with regard to Adams' chances of suiting up Sunday against the Saints. In six games to date, Adams leads the Raiders with 37 catches on 63 targets for 509 yards and five TDs.
Oct 26, 2022
Sits out practice Wednesday
Adams (illness) didn't practice Wednesday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams was one of four Raiders who were listed as non-participants Wednesday due to illness. The wideout's status is thus worth tracking in advance of this weekend's game against the Saints. In this past Sunday's 38-20 win over the Texans, Adams hauled in eight of his nine targets for 95 yards.
Oct 23, 2022
Eight grabs Sunday
Adams caught eight of nine targets for 95 yards in Sunday's 38-20 win over the Texans.
ANALYSIS
The Raiders' passing game didn't have much to do during a game in which Josh Jacobs and the defense combined for four TDs, but as per usual Adams led the club in receptions, targets and receiving yards. It's the third time in six games the former Packer has hauled in at least eight passes, and it's only the second time he failed to get into the end zone. While his floor remains outstanding, Adams could have something closer to a ceiling game in Week 8 against a Saints secondary that just got lit up by DeAndre Hopkins on Thursday night.
Oct 16, 2022
Discipline from league not imminent
Adams isn't expected to face any possible discipline stemming from his shove of a credentialed photographer Monday in the Raiders' loss to the Chiefs until his legal situation pertaining to the incident is resolved, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams was charged Wednesday with a city ordinance violation of assault, with his citation stating that he "did, by an intentional, overt act, inflict bodily injury or cause an unlawful offensive contact" on the photographer, who reportedly suffered from whiplash and a headache along with a possible concussion. A preliminary court date of Nov. 10 has been set, but Adams will remain on the field for Las Vegas until the legal case ends and the NFL decides whether or not to levy punishment on the star receiver. Because Adams was criminally charged, the NFL could view the incident as a violation of the personal conduct policy, which resulting in him serving a suspension and/or paying a fine even if the legal charges are dropped.
Oct 12, 2022
Charged with misdemeanor assault
Adams has been charged with misdemeanor assault for shoving a credentialed media worker following the Raiders' loss to Kansas City on Monday night, ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
According to court records released Wednesday, the report notes that the wideout was cited for an "intentional, overt act" that inflicted "bodily injury." Per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Adams could be facing discipline from the league, possibly including a suspension. With the Raiders on bye in Week 6, the team's next game is Oct. 23 against the Texans.
Oct 11, 2022
Could face league discipline
Adams' shove of a credentialed worker to the ground after Monday night's loss to the Chiefs is being reviewed by the NFL, Josh Dubow of The Associated Press reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams issued an apology after Monday's loss via his official Twitter account, but it's possible that the league's investigation into the incident could result in a fine or suspension. The star wideout recorded two long touchdowns on three catches (seven targets) for 124 yards Monday, continuing what has been another outstanding fantasy season for the 29-year-old.
Oct 11, 2022
Delivers as deep threat
Adams recorded three receptions on seven targets for 124 yards and two touchdowns in Monday's 30-29 loss to the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Adams was limited from a volume perspective, but he made his receptions count by delivering scores of 58 and 48 yards. Even with the positive performance, he could have produced even more. Adams drew two pass interference calls deep down the field, had a lengthy reception overturned on review and collided with Hunter Renfrow on another potential long reception in the closing seconds of the game. It's easy to overlook the missed opportunities however, as Adams has topped 100 receiving yards in three of five games this season and has five total touchdowns.
Oct 2, 2022
Tops century mark Sunday
Adams caught nine of 13 targets for 101 yards in Sunday's 32-23 win over the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
He also added four yards on one carry. Adams continues to enjoy his reunion with Derek Carr, topping 100 receiving yards in two of four games as a Raider so far, and his volume was especially impressive in this one as Carr only managed to throw for 188 yards in total on the afternoon. Adams saw his TD streak end at three games to begin the season, but he'll look to start a new one in Week 5 in an AFC West clash with Kansas City.
Sep 25, 2022
Saved by touchdown
Adams recorded five receptions on 10 targets for 36 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-22 loss to the Titans.
ANALYSIS
Adams tied for the team lead with 10 targets, but he produced little with the opportunity. His longest gain went for 18 yards, though none of his other four catches went for more than seven yards. Positively, Adams did score a short touchdown and has now found the end zone in all of his games as a Raider. However, since racking up 141 receiving yards in Week 1, Adams has combined to record only seven receptions for 48 yards across his last two contests.
Sep 18, 2022
Quiet in Week 2
Adams caught two passes for 12 yards and one touchdown on seven targets against Arizona on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Credit is owed to Arizona defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, who evidently got the better of Raiders coach Josh McDaniels in the game planning of this contest. Adams is the engine of the Raiders passing game, and the Cardinals managed to deny the Raiders the chance to get the machine up and running. The Raiders need to and likely will get Adams more involved against Tennessee in Week 3.
Sep 11, 2022
Big game with new team
Adams caught 10 passes for 141 yards and one touchdown on 17 targets against the Chargers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The Raiders passing game wasn't very healthy overall in this game as Derek Carr struggled with sacks and turnovers, but Adams himself dominated almost out of the gate. With this game Adams somewhat answers any doubts about whether his usage would keep up with the standards he set previously in Green Bay, even if he's unlikely to maintain the target share he posted in this particular game (17 of 35 team targets). Whatever the other specifics, the Raiders offense primarily runs through Adams.
Aug 20, 2022
Not dressed to play
Adams and other Raiders starters aren't in uniform for Saturday's preseason game against Miami, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams and QB Derek Carr aren't dressed, nor are a number of other key players, reportedly. If the former Fresno State teammates do see any action this preseason, it'll have to be in the team's fourth and final game (the Raiders were in the Hall of Fame Game this year, and have held out key starters every week so far).
Aug 4, 2022
Sits out Thursday
Adams didn't play in Thursday's Hall of Fame Game win versus the Jaguars, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Raiders' massive offseason trade acquisition, Adams was merely a spectator in his first chance to take the field for the team in an actual game. He'll have up to three more opportunities to do so, starting Sunday, Aug. 14 against the Vikings. Once he does, Adams likely will be on the receiving end of passes from former college teammate Derek Carr.
Aug 4, 2022
Could be rested Thursday
Though Vic Tafurof The Athletic suggests that coach Josh McDaniels seems unlikely to share which of his players will face the Jaguars in Thursday's Hall of Fame Game, he suggests that QB Derek Carr and other key starters (which describes Adams) will end up being spectators.
ANALYSIS
If Adams doesn't see any snaps Thursday or alternatively ends up making a cameo, he'll have three more chances to get a portion of preseason reps. In any case, as long as Adams avoids any injury issues ahead of Week 1, the Raiders' splashy offseason trade acquisition is poised to see plenty of targets in 2022 from QB Derek Carr, his former college quarterback at Fresno State.
Mar 17, 2022
Dealt to Vegas
The Packers traded Adams to the Raiders for two draft picks in the 2022 NFL Draft on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
A week and a half removed from receiving the franchise tag from the Packers, Adams suddenly finds himself on the move. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Adams will sign a new contract with the Raiders for five years, $141.25 million as he reunites with Derek Carr, his college quarterback at Fresno State. Adams is coming off a six-year stretch in which he surpassed 1,000 yards receiving three times and hit double-digit touchdowns on five occasions. As for the Packers, they'll receive Las Vegas' 2022 first- and second-round picks as compensation, per Schefter.
Mar 14, 2022
Tells team he won't play under tag
Adams has informed the Packers he won't play on the franchise tag, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The Packers tagged Adams last week, as expected, keeping the star wideout under team control alongside QB Aaron Rodgers. The team has a difficult cap situation and apparently hasn't made much early progress in long-term discussions with Adams, but the two sides still have four months to reach an agreement before the July 15 extension deadline for franchise-tagged players.
Mar 8, 2022
Gets franchise tag, as expected
The Packers placed the franchise tag on Adams on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Green Bay now has clarified two of its biggest question marks of the offseason in the matter of hours, keeping Adams in the fold following Aaron Rodgers' decision to return for an 18th season. Adams has strung together six consecutive campaigns with at least 117 targets, a stretch in which he's averaged a 97-1,199-11.5 line per season. Now, the Packers and his representatives will attempt to work out a long-term extension to avoid being on the hook for the $18.4 million franchise tender in 2022.
Jan 22, 2022
Co-leads team in catches
Adams secured nine of 11 targets for 90 yards during the Packers' 13-10 divisional-round loss to the 49ers on Saturday night.
ANALYSIS
Adams drew even with Aaron Jones for the team lead in receptions while pacing the team in targets. The standout receiver was particularly productive early, recording the game's first catch (14 yards), adding 10- and 11-yard receptions on that opening drive, and contributing another pair of grabs for 15 yards before halftime. The abrupt and disappointing finish to the Packers' season doesn't take away from Adams' eye-popping accomplishments this past regular season, one that saw him produce a franchise-record 1,553 receiving yards on 123 receptions, figures he complemented with 11 touchdowns.
Jan 9, 2022
Secures team record
Adams caught six passes for 55 yards on seven targets against Detroit on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Adams could have done much more if he and Aaron Rodgers had played the entire game, but the main reason for Adams playing at all was arguably to get him the Green Bay single-season receiving yardage record, which he successfully secured with this box score. Adams finishes the regular season with 123 receptions for 1,553 yards (beating Jordy Nelson's 1,519 from 2014) and 11 touchdowns in 16 games, and now he'll prepare for Green Bay's playoff run, beginning with a first-round bye.
Jan 3, 2022
Goes off vs. MIN
Adams hauled in 11 of 14 targets for 136 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 37-10 win over Minnesota.
ANALYSIS
The proven Aaron Rodgers to Adams connection was met with little resistance by the Vikings for the second time this season (7-115-2 back in Week 11). The star wideout accrued most of his stats in just one half of football, as Green Bay blew out its division rival with ease. Lots of fantasy championships took place this weekend, so Adams gave those teams a huge boost in what might end up being his last regular season appearance this season after the Packers locked up the first seed in the NFC and a first-round bye. Look for updates from head coach Matt LaFleur this week on whether Adams will be rested or not heading into a meaningless matchup -- in terms of playoff seeding -- against the Lions next Sunday.
Dec 25, 2021
Trademark performance in win
Adams brought in 10 of 13 targets for 114 yards and two touchdowns in the Packers' 24-22 win over the Browns on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Adams delivered one of his marquee efforts in the narrow victory, with his nine- and one-yard touchdown grabs in the first half the icing on the cake of his fourth 100-yard effort in the last five games. The multi-time Pro Bowler now has four double-digit catch tallies as well for the season and boasts a pair of 13-target games in the last three weeks. Adams next faces a Vikings team in Week 17 that he generated a 7-115-2 line against back in Week 11 on the road.
Dec 19, 2021
Low yardage but scores
Adams caught six of seven targets for 44 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-30 win over the Ravens.
ANALYSIS
Adams shook his defender before hauling in a three-yard touchdown during the second quarter, surprisingly giving him a score in consecutive games for just the first time this season. That contribution helped compensate for otherwise underwhelming totals by Adams' lofty standards, as his 44 yards marked his second-lowest tally this term. Coming off three straight 100-yard outings, Adams came back to earth a bit Sunday, but the star nonetheless remains a top receiving option ahead of Week 16's matchup versus the Browns.
Dec 13, 2021
Goes off for two scores
Adams (hamstring) hauled in 10 of 13 targets for 121 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 45-30 win over the Bears.
ANALYSIS
Adams was dealing with a bum hamstring during practice this week, and he was quiet out of the gates in this one. The superstar wideout could only be held back for so long, as he and Aaron Rodgers dominated the Bears' defense from the second quarter onwards. Adams has now produced three straight 100-plus yard games while scoring four touchdowns over that span. He will attempt to stretch that streak to four games against the Ravens in Week 15.
Dec 9, 2021
Logs another limited practice
Adams (hamstring) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Adams has opened Week 14 prep with back-to-back capped sessions, the result of a hamstring issue. With Randall Cobb expected to miss significant time due to a core muscle injury, the Packers' receiving corps again has lost one of its members. Having said that, Adams doesn't seem to be in danger of missing any game action, which may be confirmed on Friday's practice report.
Dec 8, 2021
Dealing with hamstring issue
Adams was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a hamstring injury, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Even with the benefit of the Packers' bye week, Adams made an appearance on the first Week 14 injury report. Fortunately for the wide receiver, he fit in some activity, while Randall Cobb (core) did not and Malik Taylor (abdomen) also was limited among position mates. Adams will look to get back to full Thursday and/or Friday with the aim to enter the weekend with no designation for Sunday's divisional matchup with the Bears.
Nov 28, 2021
Tops 100 yards
Adams recorded eight receptions on nine targets for 104 yards in Sunday's 36-28 win over the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Adams didn't dominate targets in his typical fashion, as Marquez Valdes-Scantling saw nine targets and Alan Lazard six. Even so, Adams topped 100 receiving yards for the fifth time this season and for the second consecutive game. Adams did he majority of his damage on a 43-yard reception late in the second quarter, and he came just shy of finding the end zone after being pushing out of bounds at the 11 yard line. With this performance, Adams has now recorded at least six catches in all but one of his 11 contests on the campaign.
Nov 25, 2021
Logs all activity Thursday
Adams (ankle) was listed as a full participant on Thursday's injury report, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
After dealing with a shoulder issue in practice last week, Adams opened Week 12 with a cap on his reps due to an ankle injury, which clearly wasn't serious after he managed all activity Thursday. When he last faced Sunday's opponent, the Rams, he hauled in nine of 10 targets for 66 yards and one touchdown in the divisional round back in January.
Nov 24, 2021
Tending to ankle issue
Adams was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough due to an ankle injury.
ANALYSIS
Adams opened Week 11 prep with a cap on his reps due to a shoulder issue, but he returned in full Thursday and went into the weekend without a designation. It remains to be seen if he'll do the same this week with a new health concern in tow, but he does have two more sessions to do so. Assuming he's available Sunday against the Rams, Adams will continue to build a stellar 72-979-5 start to the campaign.
Nov 21, 2021
Returns to elite form
Adams (shoulder) corralled seven of eight targets for 115 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 34-31 loss to Minnesota.
ANALYSIS
Adams was battling a shoulder injury throughout practice this week, but he showed no ill effects in a dominant showing on the gridiron. The 28-year-old was coming off of a pair of pedestrian performances -- by his lofty standards -- during a period where both he and Aaron Rodgers missed time due to illness, but Green Bay's dynamic duo appeared to get its mojo back. Adams will face a stiff test against shutdown corner Jalen Ramsey and the Rams in a rematch of last year's NFC divisional round next Sunday.
Nov 18, 2021
Full practice Thursday
Adams (shoulder) practice fully Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams was deemed limited on Wednesday's practice estimate after he was seen stretching and riding a stationary bike prior to a walkthrough. On Thursday, he proceeded to work in individual drills in the media-access portion of the session, per Schneidman. With all activity confirmed in the Packers' most recent practice, Adams is ready to take on the Vikings in Week 11. At the same time, Aaron Rodgers (toe) has yet to get on the field this week, but there's an expectation he'll be throwing to Adams and company Sunday at Minnesota.
Nov 17, 2021
Logs limited practice
Adams was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough due to a shoulder injury, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams was among a number of Green Bay vets to have practice limitations to kick off Week 11 prep, including non-participants Aaron Rodgers (toe), Allen Lazard (shoulder) and David Bakhtiari (knee). Because Wednesday's report was an estimate, Adams' ability to stretch and ride a stationary bike may have been enough for him to receive the 'limited' tag. In any case, the health of least Adams and Rodgers really isn't in question, which would be confirmed by both players returning to a full session by week's end.
Nov 17, 2021
Present but not practicing Wednesday
Adams (undisclosed) wasn't taking part in the part of Wednesday's practice open to the media, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Instead, Adams stretched and was riding a stationary bike. Considering his veteran status, he could be receiving the day off, but his listing on Wednesday's practice report will indicate whether or not he's dealing with a health concern.
Nov 14, 2021
Solid showing
Adams caught seven passes for 78 yards on 11 targets against Seattle on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Adams could have done more against this vulnerable secondary, but the Packers seemed just a tad disjointed as Aaron Rodgers made his return from a one-game COVID absence. Rodgers and especially Adams should become more dangerous as the rust shakes off, and it might be Week 11 opponent Minnesota who bears the brunt of that.
Nov 7, 2021
Difficulties with new QB
Adams caught six passes for 42 yards on 14 targets against Kansas City on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
It's not clear whether Aaron Rodgers (COVID) will be available for Green Bay's Week 10 game against Seattle, but it is clear that Jordan Love probably can't get Adams the ball reliably enough for Adams to maintain the dominant production he posted with Rodgers. Adams nearly had a big catch on Love's one interception -- the corner (L'Jarius Sneed) made a great play, to be fair -- and at another point Love narrowly misplaced a downfield throw where Adams easily beat the defense, so it is easy to imagine a way Sunday's game could have been more fruitful for Adams, but there's no guarantee Love does better if the same situations occur in Week 10. With that said, the 14 targets is perhaps reason for optimism, because that target count made up 41.1 percent of Green Bay's targets on the day.
Nov 5, 2021
Declares self ready for Week 9
Adams (illness) confirmed that he'll play Sunday in Kansas City after the Packers reinstated him from the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
After testing positive for the virus Oct. 25 and sitting out the Packers' Week 8 win over the Cardinals, Adams cleared all health and safety protocols Thursday and rejoined the team for practice, though he appeared to be mostly limited to conditioning work, per Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com. Adams was likely able to ramp up his activity Friday, and he expressed confidence that he'll be good to go Sunday, even though he experienced headaches and body chills while he battled the virus. While the star wideout looks like a strong fantasy option Week 9 against a hapless Chiefs pass defense, Adams' outlook is less bright than usual with Jordan Love stepping in under first center for his first NFL start in place of Aaron Rodgers (illness), who is ineligible to play this week after testing positive for the virus Wednesday.
Nov 4, 2021
Back in the fold
The Packers activated Adams (illness) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday, per the NFL's transaction log.
ANALYSIS
Adams has spent the past week and a half on the COVID list after a positive test for the virus, which forced him to miss last Thursday's win at Arizona. A residual effect was Allen Lazard sitting out, too, as a close contact of Adams, but now both wide receivers are back on the active roster. The Packers also designated Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) to return from IR this week, so the position group could be entirely intact if the team activates him for Sunday's game in Kansas City. But Adams and company will be working with Jordan Love under center after Aaron Rodgers' own bout with COVID-19.
Nov 4, 2021
Back with team Thursday
Adams (illness) has returned to the Packers' facility Thursday, with coach Matt LaFleur noting that he is "hopeful" that the wideout will be able to play Sunday against Kansas City, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Per the report, there are still some COVID-19 protocols that Adams -- who missed the team's Week 8 win over the Cardinals -- has to pass through before he can be cleared to play this weekend. If that happens, his looming return would a big boost to the Packers offense, which will be helmed Sunday by QB Jordan Love, with starter Aaron Rodgers on the reserve/COVID-19 list and unavailable for Week 9 action.
Nov 1, 2021
Expected to practice Thursday
Adams (illness) is expected to return to practice Thursday, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams wasn't present for Monday's practice session since he remains on the reserve/COVID-19 list after testing positive for the virus. However, if he's able to get back on the field Thursday, the 28-year-old would have two days to practice ahead of Sunday's Week 9 matchup against Kansas City.
Nov 1, 2021
Not practicing Monday
Adams (illness) wasn't at practice Monday, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams was unavailable for Thursday's win over the Cardinals after he tested positive for COVID-19, and he remains off the practice field Monday. The 28-year-old will need to submit a pair of negative tests before he's eligible to return from the reserve/COVID-19 list. His next chance to return to game action will be Sunday against Kansas City.
Oct 28, 2021
Officially out Thursday
Adams (illness) didn't clear the NFL's COVID-19 health and safety protocols Thursday morning and won't be activated ahead of the Packers' Week 8 game in Arizona, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
After Adams was revealed Monday to have tested positive for the virus, his status as a vaccinated player still gave him a slim chance to clear the protocol prior to Thursday's 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff. Adams' odds of playing took another hit when he didn't fly with the team to Arizona on Wednesday, but he could have arranged private travel Thursday if he submitted a second negative COVID-19 test result 24 hours after the first negative test. Evidently, Adams wasn't able to do that, leaving the Packers without their top receiver in Week 8, as well as No. 2 wideout Allen Lazard, who is also on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Meanwhile, fellow wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) hasn't been ruled out from making his return from injured reserve Thursday, though he would likely be available for only a limited role after not practicing this week. With that in mind, the Packers look poised to head into Thursday with receivers Randall Cobb and Equanimeous St. Brown, tight end Robert Tonyan and running back Aaron Jone

Adams (reserve/COVID-19) won't travel to Arizona for Thursday's game against the Cardinals, independent NFL reporter Dov Kleiman reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams was never likely to play after testing positive for the virus at the beginning of a short week. Allen Lazard is a close contact and also expected to miss the game, leaving Randall Cobb, Equanimeous St. Brown, Amari Rodgers and Malik Taylor as the four wide receivers on Green Bay's active roster. Additionally, Marquez Valdez-Scantling (hamstring) is eligible to be activated from injured reserve, while Chris Blair and Juwan Winfree are options from the practice squad.
Oct 25, 2021
Likely out Thursday
Adams said earlier this season that he is vaccinated, which means his placement on the reserve/COVID-19 list is due to a positive test result. The wideout will need to test negative twice 24 hours apart before being activated, which is unlikely to happen before Thursday's game at Arizona, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
It's a tough break for the Adams and the Packers on a short week of preparation, and he's now expected to miss his first game of the season. The 28-year-old would need to produce two negative tests by Wednesday to travel with the team to Arizona, while if a second negative test came Thursday he'd need to travel separately. However, Adams is likely to be out of the picture against the Cardinals, so Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb and Robert Tonyan should be more involved in the passing game.

Goes on COVID-19 list
The Packers placed Adams on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.
ANALYSIS
General manager Brian Gutekunst wasn't able to comment on Adams' vaccination status or whether he tested positive, but even if the wideout was deactivated due to reasons related to contact tracing, he'll likely have a tough time clearing the NFL's COVID-19 health and safety protocols prior to Thursday's game against the Cardinals. Adams had a relatively muted performance in Green Bay's Week 7 win over Washington, but he still finished with six receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown on seven targets.
Oct 24, 2021
Finds end zone Sunday
Adams caught six receptions on seven targets for 76 yards and one touchdown against Washington on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Adams was automatic with his seven targets, though the usage against Washington was light by his usual standards. It's possible that the Packers held back some of their punches with their Week 8 matchup in Arizona on Thursday in mind, and in any case they'll likely need to call on Adams for more targets as they try to keep pace with Kyler Murray on the other side. Unlike against Washington, Aaron Rodgers is a good bet to throw more than 35 pass attempts against Arizona, and Adams is a good bet to claim a higher share of the targets than he did Sunday.
Oct 17, 2021
Big catch late in win
Adams secured four of five targets for 89 yards in the Packers' 24-14 win over the Bears on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Adams was having a relatively quiet day until he ripped off a 41-yard catch and run midway through the fourth quarter on a drive that would culminate in the final points of the day for either club. The multi-time Pro Bowler arguably qualify as at least a mild disappointment following his 11-206-1 line in the overtime win against the Bengals in Week 5, as the solid yardage total was nevertheless Adams' second lowest of the last five games. He'll look to bounce back with his fourth 100-yard effort of the season in a Week 7 battle versus Washington at home.
Oct 10, 2021
Career high in wacky win
Adams caught 11 of 16 targets for 206 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 25-22 overtime win against the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
Adams had his way in the first half, making a few big gains on crossing and seam routes before scoring on a five-yard fade. With six catches for 117 yards and that touchdown by halftime, Adams then hauled in a 59-yard bomb from quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the second half and made additional meaningful contributions in the fourth quarter and overtime. Overall, the superstar wideout finished with a career high in yardage, continuing his dominant start to the season. Next up for Adams is another favorable matchup against the division-rival Bears in Week 6.
Oct 3, 2021
Solid numbers in Week 4 win
Adams secured six of 11 targets for 64 yards in the Packers' 27-17 win over the Steelers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The All-World wideout wasn't at his most prolific by any stretch, but considering the matchup against the tough Steelers defense, his numbers weren't a downright disappointment. In fact, Adams found himself in the familiar position of pacing the Packers in receptions and targets, but he saw both of Aaron Rodgers' scoring throws go to Randall Cobb, who also outgained Adams by five yards for the team lead in that category. Despite going without a score Sunday, Adams' fantasy managers are undoubtedly pleased with his 31-373-1 line through four games. The veteran will look to get back into the end zone and boost his overall numbers in a Week 5 road matchup against the Bengals.
Sep 27, 2021
Monster game on SNF
Adams corralled 12 passes (18 targets) for 132 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-28 win over San Francisco.
ANALYSIS
The patented Aaron Rodgers/Davante Adams connection carried the Packers' offense all evening, highlighted by a perfect 25-yard strike that put Mason Crosby in range to win a close contest as time expired. The superstar wideout did leave the game briefly after taking a hard shot to the head that left him grounded for a couple of minutes, but he was able to return in time to play the role of co-hero. After a forgettable Week 1 for the entire Green Bay offense, Adams has racked up a whopping 20 receptions, 253 yards and a touchdown over the last two contests. This dangerous QB-WR duo will look to keep things rolling against the Steelers next Sunday.
Sep 20, 2021
Tops 100 yards in win
Adams caught eight of nine targets for 121 yards in Monday night's 35-17 win over the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Adams was limited to underneath work in the first half but got his night going with a 50-yard bomb from Aaron Rodgers to begin the third quarter. Rodgers' trusty top target then saved his quarterback by breaking up a would-be interception on their next drive -- his only unsuccessful target -- before hauling in a 22-yard pass shortly after. As arguably the league's best wideout, Adams bounced back from a relatively quiet Week 1 with a more familiar performance Monday. He'll now hope to find the end zone for the first time this season when facing the 49ers in Week 3.
Sep 12, 2021
Makes little impact in loss
Adams caught five of seven targets for 56 yards in Sunday's 38-3 loss to the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Aaron Rodgers had one of the worst games of his career, and as a result Adams couldn't get much going even though he led the Packers in receptions. The All-Pro receiver might have posted better numbers, but both he and Rodgers took a seat for most of the fourth quarter in the blowout. Adams should be able to rebound at home in Week 2 against a Lions squad he's lit up for 57 catches, 602 yards and seven TDs in 11 career meetings.
Aug 21, 2021
Won't play Saturday
Adams was among the Packers who did not suit up for Saturday's preseason game against the Jets, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Other key players among the 32 Packers who will not play in the contest include QB Aaron Rodgers, fellow WRs Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb, as well as RB Aaron Jones and TE Robert Tonyan.
Aug 14, 2021
Out for preseason opener
Adams will not play in Saturday's preseason opener against the Texans, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers will not play in Saturday's contest as expected, and the Packers will hold their top wide receiver out as well. Rodgers is unlikely to play during the preseason, so Adams may not take the field until Week 1.
Jul 30, 2021
Seeking to be highest-paid wideout
Adams is seeking to become the league's highest-paid wideout, but he and the Packers have differing definitions on the meaning of that term, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com.
ANALYSIS
Adams is set to become a free agent after this season, and he expressed publicly Wednesday that he is looking for an average annual salary that makes him the top-paid pass catcher in the league. That title is currently held by Arizona's DeAndre Hopkins, who after joining the Cardinals agreed to a two-year extension that comes out to $27.25 million per season. Adams is presumably looking to top that number, but the Packers believe the average salary of Hopkins' entire contract -- which comes out a few million dollars cheaper -- is a more-appropriate number. Adams averaged 91.6 receptions, 1,127.8 yards and 11.6 touchdowns over the last five seasons, so he has the stats on his side. However, the Packers do have a bit of leverage, as they will have the franchise tag available.
Jul 26, 2021
Willing to reopen extension talks
Following the expected restructure of Aaron Rodgers' contract, Adams has indicated he's willing to discuss a new contract with the Packers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams and the Packers broke off negotiations for an extension less than a week ago after things grew stale but the reported new Rodgers deal seems to have spurred the star wideout's willingness to get things back on track. Adams figures to snare a new deal among the best wideouts in the league when he signs on the dotted line as he enters the last season of a four-year, $58.96 million contract with the Packers signed in late 2017.
Jul 23, 2021
Extension talks stall
Adams and the Packers have broken off negotiations for a contract extension, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The two sides have been working on a potential deal for months, but talks have stalled and there's apparently no plan to resume negotiations. Adams is entering the fourth and final year of the four-year, $58 million extension he signed in 2017, and his future with the Packers beyond 2020 is now in doubt. The status of QB Aaron Rodgers remains uncertain with training camp set to begin next week. and it now appears Green Bay will open the season with question marks surrounding the team's two best players.
Jun 24, 2021
Willing to talk extension
Adams and the Packers are in the early stages of discussing a contract extension, Paulina Dedaj of FOX News reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams is entering the fourth and final season of a four-year, $58 million extension, with his $12.25 million base salary an obvious bargain for the Packers after the wideout enjoyed a career-best campaign in 2020. While the uncertainty surrounding QB Aaron Rodgers is far from ideal, Adams says it won't impact his preparation for the upcoming season, nor will it dissuade him from discussing a new contract with the Packers. He'd be an obvious candidate fro the franchise tag next offseason if the two sides aren't able to work out a long-term deal.
Jan 24, 2021
Limited by Bucs' secondary
Adams recorded nine receptions on 15 targets for 67 yards and a touchdown in the Packers' loss in the NFC Championship Game.
ANALYSIS
As has become the norm, Adams saw a multitude of targets -- accounting for 31 percent of Aaron Rodgers' pass attempts. He turned that into a decent statistical performance, but was held to 15 yards or fewer on all of his receptions. Despite not being able to work deep, he did haul in a two-yard touchdown reception in the midst of a dramatic comeback attempt. Adams will head into the final year of his contract in 2021 and should return to form as a top receiver remaining paired with Rodgers.
Jan 16, 2021
Tallies nine receptions
Adams recorded nine receptions on 10 targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Packers' divisional-round win over the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Adams delivered in a much anticipated matchup with cornerback Jalen Ramsey. Despite the tough draw, Adams was targeted 10 times, and he's now commanded double-digit targets in five of his last six contests. He beat Ramsey early in the second quarter for a one-yard reception to notch the Packers' first touchdown of the game. Adams also chipped in bigger gains, the' longest of which went for 21-yards and helped set up a field goal just before halftime. While the the matchup may not gain as much hype, Adams will draw another tough defense as the Packers will take on either the Saints or Buccaneers in the NFC Championship Game.
Jan 3, 2021
Sets records in victory
Adams caught all six of his targets for 46 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 35-16 win over the Bears.
ANALYSIS
Adams didn't have a big game by his lofty standards, but he of course still managed to find the end zone. In doing so, he tied the Packers' franchise record with 18 touchdown receptions this season, and he also set a new team-best mark with 115 total catches. Remarkably, those totals came despite Adams missing two games due to injury. Arguably the NFL's best wide receiver, Adams will now have a week off before Green Bay hosts a divisional-round playoff game.
Dec 27, 2020
Absolutely torches Titans
Adams racked up 11 receptions (12 targets) for 142 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 40-14 rout of the Titans.
ANALYSIS
Sleet, snow and the Titans' secondary could not stop Adams from posting yet another monster fantasy performance on the national stage. The 28-year-old didn't even have his stats boosted by a particular big play, as his game high of a 32-yard reception showed that he and Aaron Rodgers consistently picked up big chunks of yardage throughout the cold winter night. This was Adams' seventh game with at least 100 yards and a touchdown this season, and he accomplished that in just 13 contests (missed two games to injury). If it wasn't for Alvin Kamara's ridiculous six-touchdown game, Adams would likely be named NFC Player of the Week. The good news for those hoping to get another chance to use the star wideout this regular season is that the Seahawks were also victors in Week 16, which gives the Packers something to play for (1st seed and bye) next week against the Bears.
Dec 19, 2020
Falls flat in Week 15
Adams logged seven receptions on 10 targets for 42 yards in Week 15 against the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
Adams got off to a hot start, recording 29 yards by the end of the Packers' second possession. However, the team jumped ahead 21-3, which limited Aaron Rodgers to only 10 second-half pass attempts and in turn suppressed Adams' ability to produce. Adams' stat line was further limited by his inability to find the end zone -- the first time he has failed to score since Week 6 -- and the fact that he was limited to working in short areas of the field. More positively, he should be in a bounceback spot in Week 16 against the Titans.
Dec 13, 2020
Maintains elite pace against Lions
Adams corralled seven of 10 targets for 115 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 31-24 win against the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Adams helped Green Bay pose a response to Detroit's opening-drive TD, demonstrating his elite skill set during a 56-yard jaunt. Not only did the three-time Pro Bowler outmaneuver cornerback Amani Oruwariye for the contested catch, but he also weaved past a trio of Lions defenders en route to his 14th score of the season. Adams currently holds an eight-game scoring streak, with an incredible 12 TDs since Week 7. Had he not missed three games in September and October because of a hamstring injury, Adams may be more seriously contending with Randy Moss' single-season receiving TD record of 23 (2007). With Aaron Rodgers under center, Adams is as matchup-proof as they come heading into a Week 15 Saturday night showdown against the Panthers.
Dec 6, 2020
Two more scores in win
Adams caught 10 of 12 targets for 121 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 30-16 win over the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
Aaron Rodgers' favorite receiver put together another huge performance, catching red-zone scores in the second and third quarters, with the second one giving his QB his 400th career passing TD. Adams now has 13 touchdowns in only 10 games this season, and Sunday's performance gave him his second career 1,000-yard campaign. He'll look to continue his rampage through opposition secondaries in Week 14 against a Lions defense that he strained his hamstring against in their first meeting back in Week 2.
Nov 30, 2020
Cashes in early in blowout
Adams caught six passes (nine targets) for 61 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 41-25 win over the Bears.
ANALYSIS
Aaron Rodgers dialed up his favorite target on the game's opening possession for a touchdown at the end of a methodical drive. Adams wasn't needed much after the hot start, as the Packers comfortably led by double-digits from the second quarter onward. The fantasy stud continues to inch closer to 100 percent after missing practices due to an ankle injury over the last three weeks. Adams' production hasn't been hampered by the nagging injury, as he's racked up a whopping nine touchdowns over a six-game scoring streak. The dominant duo in Green Bay will look to extend their touchdown streak to seven games against the Eagles on Sunday.
Nov 27, 2020
Fine for Sunday
Adams (ankle) returned to practice Friday and will play in Sunday's game against the Bears, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams followed the same routine last week, logging a single limited practice before catching seven passes for 106 yards and a touchdown in an overtime loss to the Colts. He'll face another tough defense this weekend, hoping to extend his TD streak to six games.
Nov 26, 2020
Held out of practice Thursday
Adams (ankle) didn't practice Thursday, Olivia Reiner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
After logging a limited session Wednesday, Adams' only activity one day later was the team stretch. While Matt LaFleur will be "cautious" with the Packers' No. 1 wide receiver -- per Reiner -- the coach remains optimistic about Adams' prospects for Sunday's game versus the Bears. All of Allen Lazard (core), Marquez Valdes-Scantling (Achilles) and Equanimeous St. Brown (knee) were limited Thursday, so Green Bay's receiving corps is particularly banged up with just one practice remaining this week.
Nov 26, 2020
Practice limitations continue
Adams (ankle) took part in Thursday's team stretch but didn't join his teammates outside for practice, Olivia Reiner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Prior to the session, coach Matt LaFleur told Reiner that "we're gonna be cautious" with his lingering ankle issue. As such, Adams could be listed as limited for a second practice in a row this week, but his activity level won't be official until the release of Thursday's injury report.
Nov 25, 2020
Limited by ankle again
Adams (ankle) was limited at Wednesday's practice, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
After picking up an ankle injury Week 10 against the Jaguars, Adams sandwiched limited sessions around a DNP at Thursday's practice. Still, the issue didn't stop him from notching his fourth 100-yard effort and 10th touchdown of the season this past Sunday at Indianapolis. He'll look to do something similar this Sunday night against the Bears, assuming he gets past his health concern.
Nov 22, 2020
Another efficient performance
Adams recorded seven receptions on eight targets for 106 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 against the Colts.
ANALYSIS
Adams didn't rack up his usual double-digit targets, but did make the most of his opportunity in all areas of the field. He found the end zone for his 10th touchdown of the campaign on a five-yard reception midway through the second quarter. While Marquez Valdes-Scantling maintained his role as the primary deep threat, Adams did also manage to log field-stretching receptions of 33, 20, 18 and 14 yards. Adams will face a stiff test in Week 12 against the Bears, though his target volume should help him overcome the poor matchup.
Nov 20, 2020
Cleared to play
Adams (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Indianapolis, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams was a limited participant Wednesday and a non-participant Thursday, but it's now clear the downgrade was inspired by caution rather than any type of setback. He should be ready for his usual role this weekend, facing a Colts defense that's allowed fewer touchdowns to wide receivers (eight) than Adams has scored on his own (nine).
Nov 20, 2020
Expected to play
Coach Matt LaFleur said Adams (ankle) "should be good to go" for Sunday's game in Indianapolis, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams was a limited practice participant Wednesday and a non-participant Thursday. It's still possible the Packers list him as questionable on their final injury report, but he should be ready to play come Sunday.
Nov 19, 2020
DNP on Thursday
Adams (ankle) was held out of practice Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
During the open part of practice, Adams took part in the team stretch but didn't join his teammates outside for drills, per Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com. The result for Adams was no activity after logging a limited session Wednesday. The downgrade is concerning as the Packers inch closer to the weekend, but he still has one more chance to make an impression on the field before Sunday's game at Indianapolis.
Nov 18, 2020
Logs limited showing Wednesday
Adams (ankle) was limited at Wednesday's practice, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams injured his ankle in the third quarter of this past Sunday's game against the Jaguars, but according to the wide receiver, he was able to persuade the Packers' training staff to let him back on the field, as he admitted to Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette on Wednesday. Adams went on to record the game-winning touchdown in the final quarter, league-leading nine TD catches on the season (tied with Adam Thielen and Tyreek Hill). While "the idea" is for Adams to be out there again Sunday at Indianapolis, his availability likely hinges on him avoiding any setbacks as the week goes on.
Nov 15, 2020
Dominates target share, scores TD
Adams corralled eight of his 12 targets for 66 receiving yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 24-20 win against Jacksonville. He also lost one fumble.
ANALYSIS
Adams was forced to briefly exit Sunday's contest in order to have his ankle evaluated by trainers, but he was able to return after one drive. The three-time Pro Bowler notched his ninth touchdown reception of the 2020 campaign with his fourth-quarter score from the arm of Aaron Rodgers, simultaneously pulling even with Greg Jennings for sixth all-time in TD receptions (53) in Packers franchise history. Adams' workload had been dominant entering Sunday, with double-digit targets in each of his preceding four outings. Against the Jaguars he attracted two times as many targets as Green Bay's No. 2 option. Week 11 presents a matchup against an Indianapolis defense that ranks fifth best in the NFL with a 62.2 percent completion rate allowed to opposing wideouts.
Nov 15, 2020
Quickly returns Sunday
Adams (ankle) returned to Sunday's game against the Jaguars in the fourth quarter, Olivia Reiner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams missed a full drive while having his ankle evaluated, but the star receiver returned to action with a fresh tape job in his ankle as the Packers look to mount a comeback.
Nov 15, 2020
Hurts ankle Sunday
Adams is questionable to return to Sunday's game versus the Jaguars due to an ankle injury.
ANALYSIS
For his standards, Adams has had a rough performance, hauling in seven of 11 passes for 60 yards and losing a fumble after one of those catches. At the point of his departure in the third quarter, he had his ankle taped and was seen stretching his leg on the sideline. In Adams' stead, the Packers are down to four available options at wide receiver (Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Equanimeous St. Brown, Malik Taylor and Juwann Winfree).
Nov 5, 2020
Tramples Niners in win
Adams secured 10 of 12 targets for 173 yards with one touchdown in the Packers' 34-17 win over the 49ers on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
The Pro Bowl wideout posted a game-high reception total and also set the pace for the Packers in receiving yardage. Adams gave a hint of what type of night was in store when he capped off Green Bay's opening drive with a 36-yard touchdown grab, and he went on to easily post his third 100-yard effort and second-highest yardage tally of the campaign. Adams' first-quarter score also gives him at least one touchdown catch in three straight contests, a streak he'll look to maintain in a favorable Week 10 matchup against the Jaguars on Sunday, Nov. 15.
Nov 1, 2020
Another multi-score performance
Adams caught seven of 12 targets for 53 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 28-22 loss to the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
While he didn't match the triple-digit yardage totals from his eruptions in Weeks 1 and 7, Adams still put together another dazzling performance and accounted for all the Packers' TDs on the afternoon. The receiver now has seven touchdowns in only five games -- five of them against the Vikings -- as Aaron Rodgers' top option, but Adams will face a stingier secondary in Week 9's trip to San Francisco.
Oct 25, 2020
Dominates Texans
Adams recorded 13 catches on 16 targets for 196 yards and two touchdowns in Week 7 against the Texans.
ANALYSIS
Adams dominated the Texans from start to finish, beginning his performance with a three-yard touchdown in the first quarter. His second trip to the end zone came on a 45-yard reception late in the third quarter when he broke free behind the Texans' secondary. Aside from the scores, Adams recorded receptions of 36, 28, 16 and 15 yards. It was a dominant performance for Adams, and he's now topped 150 receiving yards in two of his four games on the season. He'll face another soft secondary in a Week 8 matchup against Minnesota.
Oct 18, 2020
Makes six catches in return
Adams caught six of 10 targets for 61 yards during Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Buccaneers.
ANALYSIS
Making his first appearance in nearly a month, Adams led the team in all receiving categories, though that wasn't saying much considering Aaron Rodgers managed just 160 yards on the day. He managed three catches on the first two drives but struggled as Rodgers' efficacy faded in the face of a ferocious defensive front and finished with modest numbers by his lofty standards. Adams will draw a favorable matchup against the Texans next Sunday and will look to bounce back in a big way after a rare subpar performance.
Oct 16, 2020
Ready to face Tampa
Coach Matt LaFleur confirmed Friday that Adams will return for Sunday's game in Tampa Bay, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams thought he was healthy enough to play Week 4, but the Packers medical staff wanted him to rest his hamstring a little longer before the team had its bye in Week 5. He should now be ready for his usual hefty workload, albeit in a tricky road matchup with a Bucs defense that sometimes uses CB Carlton Davis in shadow coverage on the opponent's top receiver. Of course, the matchup really only matters for DFS, as Adams is a locked-in weekly starter for any other fantasy format.
Oct 14, 2020
Full practice Wednesday
Adams (hamstring) Matt Schneidman of The Athletic Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Adams may have been able to return for a Week 4 showdown against the Falcons, but the Packers ultimately kept him on the sideline with the hope he'd be healthy following the team's bye week. Indeed, he handled every practice rep Wednesday, clearing him to rejoin Green Bay's offense. Adams will look to produce Sunday versus a Bucs unit that has allowed 8.1 YPT and a 71.1 percent catch rate to wide receivers this season.
Oct 12, 2020
Practicing Monday
Adams (hamstring) is participating in Monday's practice, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams didn't suit up for Green Bay's win over the Falcons in Week 4 while tending to a lingering hamstring strain, but it looks as though he's avoided any setbacks during the team's subsequent bye. The Packers are hoping to have the star receiver at full health for Sunday's upcoming contest in Tampa Bay, but an official update on his injury may not come until Wednesday's first practice report of the week is released. With Allen Lazard (abdomen) expected to miss multiple games after undergoing core muscle surgery, a return to the lineup by Adams would provide Green Bay's aerial attack with a significant boost.
Oct 5, 2020
Not playing Monday
Adams (hamstring) is listed as inactive Monday against the Falcons
ANALYSIS
As expected, Adams won't be out there as he tends to a hamstring strain. The Packers have a bye Week 5, so the team seems to be hoping the extra rest will mean a fully healthy Adams once the team reconvenes for a Week 6 showdown in Tampa Bay. Allen Lazard also is sidelined following core muscle surgery, so Green Bay is down to four healthy wide receivers (Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Darrius Shepherd, Malik Taylor and Reggie Begelton) on the game-day roster.
Oct 5, 2020
Says he won't play
Adams (hamstring) said he won't play in Monday's game against the Falcons, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
ANALYSIS
Adam hasn't officially been ruled out by the Packers, but he made an announcement on twitter Monday morning, strongly hinting at disagreement between he and the team. "Sorry fans and friends, I won't be on the field tonight. I've done everything I need to do and proved I'm ready but I guess I don't know my body as well as others. Good luck out there my boys." With Allen Lazard (IR - core muscle) already ruled out, Marquez Valdes-Scantling is left behind as Green Bay's No. 1 receiver, while Darrius Shepherd and Malik Taylor also figure to get snaps. The Packers may need to call up Reggie Begelton or Robert Foster from the practice squad, as they currently have only three healthy wideouts on the active roster.
Oct 3, 2020
Game-time decision
Adams (hamstring) will be a game-time decision Monday against the Falcons, Olivia Reiner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams missed Week 3 with a hamstring strain, though he returned to practice Thursday, albeit in a limited capacity. Uncertainty heading into a Monday night game certainly isn't ideal from a fantasy perspective, and there will be plenty of that at the wide receiver position this week, with Julio Jones (hamstring) and Calvin Ridley (ankle/calf) also listed as questionable. Marquez Valdes-Scantling could move into a larger role for the Packers if Adams can't play, while Russell Gage on the Falcons could be another option for a late pickup.
Oct 3, 2020
Practices again Saturday
Adams (hamstring) practiced Saturday, Olivia Reiner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
A strained hamstring kept Adams out of the Packers' Week 3 game against the Saints, but he's now been able to practice for the third straight day. He was limited in previous practices, but the fact that he's out there at all gives him a chance to be ready for Week 4's Monday night contest against the Falcons. He's yet to be officially cleared, however.
Oct 2, 2020
Listed as limited again
Adams (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Friday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Listed as limited for a second straight day, Adams was spotted by the media running routes and catching passes. He seems to be on track for a return Monday night against Atlanta, but he did say he wants to be cautious if he has any doubt about his physical condition. It's a tricky position for fantasy managers with the Packers playing in the final game of the week and fellow starting wideout Allen Lazard (core muscle surgery) facing an indefinite absence. Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Falcons slot man Russell Gage (concussion) would be the best replacement choices from the MNF game, but both are already rostered in a significant portion of fantasy leagues. Desperation options include Brandon Powell and Olamide Zaccheaus from the Falcons, or Darrius Shepherd and Malik Taylor from the Packers.

The video shows Adams running a route and catching a pass from Aaron Rodgers, albeit without any defenders on the field. Meanwhile, Allen Lazard is out indefinitely while he recovers from core muscle surgery, potentially leaving Marquez Valdes-Scantling as the Packers' No. 1 receiver if Adams can't return for Monday's game against Atlanta. Adams said he wants to take a cautious approach, but it appears he's at least on track for a game-time decision. His fantasy managers are left in a bind with the Packers playing in the final game of the week. Valdes-Scantling and Falcons slot man Russell Gage (concussion) would be the best replacement choices from the MNF game, but both are already rostered in a significant portion of fantasy leagues (and Gage isn't certain to play). Desperation options include Brandon Powell and Olamide Zaccheaus from the Falcons, or Darrius Shepherd and Malik Taylor from the Packers.

Logs limited practice
Adams (hamstring) was limited at practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Adams' activity level is no shock after sitting out most of the last five quarters of game action due to a hamstring injury. Likely thinking about his turf toe injury that resulted in four DNPs in 2019, he told Matt Schneidman of The Athletic on Thursday that he intends to "make sure I'm 100 percent before I'm back out there." On a positive note, Adams' hamstring is "feeling a lot better this week than last week," according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com. Taking stock of the situation, Adams appears as if he'll enter the weekend as a question mark for Monday's contest against Atlanta.

Returns to practice
Adams (hamstring) participated in Thursday's practice, Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams didn't play down the stretch of the Packers' Week 2 win against the Lions, which at the time was considered a precautionary measure by coach Matt LaFleur. While Adams didn't practice at all last week, Green Bay still gave him a chance to suit up this past Sunday night at New Orleans. Adams was unable to prove his health to the team's training staff. but his ability to take the field Thursday indicates he's back on track. The Packers will reveal his activity level upon the release of their first Week 4 injury report Thursday.

Sitting out Sunday
Adams (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game at New Orleans, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Packers took the decision on Adams down to the wire, but his hamstring injury was too much to overcome in one week's time. With its No. 1 wide receiver on the pine, Green Bay seems poised to use more 12 personnel than normal with just two viable WR (Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling) available to the offense. That said, Malik Taylor and Darrius Shepherd are active if and when coach Matt LaFleur dials up three-wide sets.
Sep 26, 2020
Not yet ruled out
Adams (hamstring) will have until game time Sunday night to illustrate he's healthy enough to play against the Saints, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The 27-year-old is officially considered doubtful for the Week 3 matchup, but the Packers will wait to see how he feels in the lead up to the game before making a decision. Adams was unable to participate at practice throughout the week. Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are poised to handle the bulk of the reps at wide receiver should Adams be unable to play.
Sep 25, 2020
Doubtful for Week 3
Adams (hamstring) officially is listed a doubtful for Sunday night's game at New Orleans.
ANALYSIS
After coach Matt LaFleur called Adams "probably doubtful" for Week 3 earlier Friday, the Packers' final injury report of the week confirmed as much. Adams was unable to practice in any capacity this week, but the team will wait a bit longer before making a final call on his availability. If Adams is sidelined this weekend, Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling will handle most of the wide receiver reps for Green Bay.
Sep 25, 2020
Unlikely to play
Coach Matt LaFleur said Adams (hamstring) is "probably doubtful" for Sunday's game against the Saints, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams hasn't practiced at all this week, but the Packers aren't quite ready to rule him out. It sounds like he'll be listed as doubtful on the final injury report, but it is possible the team goes with the 'questionable' designation instead. The Packers and Saints are playing Sunday night.
Sep 25, 2020
Not seen at practice
Adams (hamstring) isn't practicing Friday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
A third consecutive absence suggests Adams is in serious danger of missing Sunday night's game in New Orleans. It would be a huge blow to the Green Bay offense, though Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling both have played pretty well this year. Another update will be available when the Packers releaes their final injury report Friday afternoon.
Sep 24, 2020
Misses another practice
Adams (hamstring) didn't partake in practice Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Instead, Adams spent the session rehabbing his balky hamstring on the side. With two absences under his belt this week, he has just one more chance to prove his health on the field before Sunday night's game at New Orleans. In the end, Adams' Week 3 fate could be known upon the release of Friday's injury report. A DNP on game day would leave the Packers shorthanded at wide receiver, with just three healthy bodies in Allen Lazard, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Malik Taylor.
Sep 23, 2020
Upcoming availability unknown
Adams, who officially didn't practice Wednesday, said a decision on whether he'll play through a strained hamstring will be made late in the week, Stacey Dales of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams was held out of the fourth quarter of this past Sunday's win against the Lions out of an abundance of caution. The fact the Packers held a huge lead played a part in coach Matt LaFleur's thought process. On Wednesday, Adams also noted "it's too early to tell" where he stands at the moment, so his ability (or lack thereof) to return to the practice field Thursday and/or Friday may be the first tell for his availability for Sunday night's game at New Orleans.
Sep 23, 2020
Starts week with absence
Adams (hamstring) won't practice Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams suffered the injury in the second half of Sunday's 42-21 win over the Lions, and while he reportedly wanted to re-enter the game, he was held out for the entire fourth quarter. Reports suggest his hamstring strain is minor, but the absence from practice hints at some degree of concern regarding his availability for Week 3 at New Orleans. An 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff could make this a tricky situation for fantasy managers if the star wideout comes down to a game-day decision.
Sep 22, 2020
Status for Week 3 still TBD
The hamstring strain Adams suffered in the Packers' Week 2 win over the Lions is considered minor, but his status for Sunday's game at New Orleans hasn't been determined, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
After a huge Week 1 outing in Minnesota, Adams reeled in three targets for 36 yards against Detroit before exiting in the second half. Green Bay had already built a sizable lead at the time Adams suffered the injury, so the coaching staff wasn't eager to rush him back to the field while he was less than 100 percent healthy. That said, Adams will still need to prove the strained hamstring isn't too much of a deterrent in practice this week to ensure his availability for the primetime matchup in New Orleans. With Sunday's game beginning at 8:20 p.m. ET, Adams' fantasy managers would ideally receive some resolution on his status before the first wave of Week 3 games kick off.
Sep 21, 2020
Injury severity downplayed
Coach Matt LaFleur said Monday that Adams (hamstring) pushed to retake the field Week 2 against Detroit but was kept on the sideline due to the Packers' sizeable lead, Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams left the field Week 2 during the second half, but it sounds as though he could have re-entered the game if Green Bay's offense had need of him. It doesn't currently look as though the star pass catcher is in serious danger of missing the Packers' upcoming Sunday night matchup against the Saints, and Wednesday's first practice report of the week stands to provide a more tangible update on Adams' health.
Sep 20, 2020
Leaves with hamstring issue
Adams suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday's game against the Lions, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams missed the Packers' third possession of the second half, after which the team termed him questionable to return. If he doesn't retake the field, he'll end Week 2 with three catches on as many targets for 36 yards. This injury leaves the team with three healthy wide receivers (Allen Lazard, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Malik Taylor).

Paces pass catchers in Week 1 win
Adams secured 14 of 17 targets for 156 yards and two touchdowns in the Packers' 43-34 win over the Vikings on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Adams and Aaron Rodgers had their prolific connection in mid-season form right from the jump, with the veteran wideout putting up game-high reception, receiving yardage, target and receiving touchdown totals. Adams' first score came on a nifty 24-yard grab near the right sideline of the end zone late in the first half, and he added a one-yard scoring catch late in the third quarter. The 27-year-old may have a difficult time topping Sunday's performance this season, but he'll have a good matchup with which to put together a strong encore effort when he and the Packers face the Lions in a Week 2 home divisional matchup next Sunday.

Returns to practice
Adams (foot/ankle) returned to practice Saturday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
It took only three days for Adams to return from a foot/ankle injury that was deemed to be a minor issue by head coach Matt LaFleur. The 27-year-old remains the top pass catcher in the Packers offense among a smattering of other unproven or unreliable options.
Aug 20, 2020
Injury not serious
Coach Matt LaFleur noted Thursday that Adams (foot/ankle) isn't dealing with a serious injury, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
When referencing the issues that prevented Adams and Za'Darius Smith from practicing Thursday, LaFleur indicated that they are "nothing serious (and) they'll be back in a matter of time." Demovsky previously reported that Adams dropped out of Wednesday's practice briefly due to an apparent right foot/ankle issue.
Aug 20, 2020
Held out of practice
Adams (foot/ankle) isn't in pads for Thursday's practice, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams appeared to suffer a minor injury during Wednesday's session, but he rejoined his teammates after a brief absence. The cautious approach Thursday morning comes as no surprise, given that Adams has nothing to prove or compete for this summer. He's locked in as the top option in the Packers' passing attack, head and shoulders above everyone else. Adams is one of the few players in the league with a shot at 30 percent target share, a number that only Michael Thomas and DeAndre Hopkins reached last season. Adams was at 29 percent in his 12 games, up from 28 percent in 2018.
Aug 17, 2020
Remains clear No. 1
Adams is the clear No. 1 receiver on the Green Bay depth chart posted by Matt Schneidman of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
The Packers did not invest much in terms of resources in the wide receiver position over the offseason, but even if they had no one would have surpassed Adams as Aaron Rodgers' No. 1 target. Adams missed four games last season and still fell just shy of the 1,000-yard mark, and he blew past that number if you throw in the 298 yards he compiled in two postseason games. Adams scored 40 times over the last four years and averaged over 10 targets per game each of the last two seasons, so he has earned a spot among the top receivers in all fantasy formats.
Jan 19, 2020
Valiant effort to finish season
Adams secured nine of 10 targets for 138 yards during the Packers' 37-20 loss to the 49ers in Sunday's NFC Championship Game.
ANALYSIS
A significant chunk of Adams' production came on a 65-yard grab in the fourth quarter, a play that saw him impressively beat Richard Sherman on a go route. Otherwise, Adams mostly generated his game-high reception total on short completions, averaging just 9.1 yards on his other eight catches. Adams finished with four 100-yard efforts over his last five games, including the postseason, a stretch during which he also recorded four receiving touchdowns. Adams is under contact for two more seasons at base salaries of $12 million per year, and he'll look to get back over the 1,000-yard mark in 2020 after falling three yards short of the mark (over 12 games) this past regular season.

Carries offense win over Seahawks
Adams caught eight of 11 targets for 160 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 28-23 win over the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
Adams averaged an impressive 20.0 yards per catch as he accounted for nearly two-thirds of Aaron Rodgers' passing yardage. The duo connected for a 20-yard touchdown in the first quarter while adding an electric 40-yard score in the third. Adams also helped put the game away with a beautiful 32-yard over-the-shoulder catch in the final minutes of the fourth quarter. The talented wideout is averaging 118 yards per game with four touchdowns over his last four and will look to continue his excellent form in next Sunday's NFC Championship game against the 49ers.

Ready for NFC North battle
Adams (toe) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Chicago.
ANALYSIS
Adams was a limited practice participant Wednesday through Friday, with the Packers managing his reps to reduce the odds of any complications from the toe injury that cost him four games earlier this year. Adams has been productive - but perhaps a bit less explosive - since his return to the lineup, averaging 6.2 catches for 61.4 yards and 0.6 touchdowns on 9.8 targets in five appearances. Sub-freezing temperatures at Lambeau Field won't be optimal for passing/receiving production, but the forecast at least appears mild in terms of both wind and precipitation (or lack thereof).
Nov 29, 2019
No designation for Week 13
Adams (toe) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Adams never advanced beyond limited participation in practices this week, but those restrictions were likely just maintenance-related rather than indicative of a setback with the foot injury that previously cost him four games. In his three outings since returning to action, Adams has caught 21 passes for 202 yards and a touchdown across 33 targets.
Nov 20, 2019
Limited practice Wednesday
Adams (toe) was listed as limited on the Packers' injury report Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Despite having the benefit of the team's bye, Adams continues to deal with the toe injury that forced four consecutive absences from Weeks 5 through 8. In the two games before the Week 11 respite, he racked up 14 catches (on 21 targets) for 159 yards and no touchdowns. Previously a TD machine, Adams has yet to reach the end zone this season but will attempt to change that Sunday against a 49ers defense that has allowed nine total touchdowns in 10 contests this season. That's assuming he gets past his health concern, as expected.
Oct 16, 2019
Remains out at practice
Adams (toe) was estimated as a non-participant on Wednesday's injury report, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams has yet to practice since sustaining what has been termed a turf toe injury in many corners, but not officially touched on by the team itself. No matter, until he suits up and makes an impact on the practice field, he won't be a candidate to return to action. If he ends up missing Sunday's game against the Raiders, Adams will be logging his third absence in a row.
Sep 27, 2019
Gets good news from MRI
Following an MRI on Friday, the Packers are optimistic Adams (toe) avoided a serious injury, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The wideout referred to his injury as "turf toe" after he was removed from Thursday's 34-27 loss to the Eagles. It sounds like he'll have a shot to avoid any additional missed time, with the Packers enjoying a long break before a Week 5 matchup with the Lions next Sunday. Adams' practice participation leading up toe the game will be closely monitored.
Sep 27, 2019
Afflicted with turf toe
Adams, who missed the final 10 minutes of the Packers' 34-27 loss to the Eagles on Thursday due to injury after recording 10 receptions for 180 yards, says he is suffering from turf toe, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Adams was unable to don a shoe on his affected right foot during postgame interviews and eventually limped out of the locker room. The star receiver was hurt on his 10th and final catch of the night, souring what was a career-best performance. Adams' presence was arguably missed the most on the Packers' final drive of the night, which ended when Aaron Rodgers was unable to connect with Marquez Valdes-Scantling at the Eagles' one-yard line, a pass that was ultimately tipped and landed in the waiting arms of Philadelphia's Nigel Bradham. Adams is slated for additional tests Friday, and the fact the Packers don't play again until a week from Sunday in Dallas certainly helps his cause by upping his recovery time.
