DJ Moore Injury News & Updates
Keep up with the latest injuries from the Bears vs Packers game on Sunday with our National Football League injury report.Nov 28, 2025
Three touches in win
Moore brought in two of five targets for 17 yards and rushed once for 10 yards in the Bears' 24-15 win over the Eagles on Friday.
ANALYSIS
Just five days following a two-touchdown effort against the Steelers, Moore was virtually a non-factor in Friday's upset victory. Moore has topped out at two catches and 18 receiving yards in three of his last four games, making his 5-64-2 line versus Pittsburgh in Week 12 an outlier within that stretch. Caleb Williams' inconsistencies certainly don't help the veteran receiver's cause, but he figures to at least draw plenty of targets in a critical Week 14 road clash against the Packers on Sunday, Dec. 7.
Nov 23, 2025
Two-TD tally in high-scoring win
Moore brought in five of seven targets for 64 yards and two touchdowns in the Bears' 31-28 win over the Steelers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
In what is a rare instance this season, Moore outperformed fellow wideout Rome Odunze on the afternoon, leading the Bears in receptions and receiving yards while checking in second to his teammate in targets. Moore also was the only one of the two to get into the end zone, recording touchdowns of five and 25 yards in the first and third quarter, respectively. The veteran wideout hadn't gotten into the end zone since Week 3 prior to Sunday, and his performance snapped an ugly two-game funk where he'd recorded just one catch for 18 yards on seven targets. Moore and the Bears' air attack draw a tough Week 13 matchup on Black Friday, when they'll travel to face the defending champion Eagles.
Nov 16, 2025
One catch across last two games
Moore caught one of three targets for 18 yards and rushed once for three yards in Sunday's 19-17 win over the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
Moore has just one catch in the last two games combined after recording at least three catches in each of the 18 preceding regular-season games. Recent first-round draft picks Rome Odunze and Colston Loveland have led Chicago's passing game in recent weeks, and Moore's opportunities have been limited in a run-first Bears offense. Moore's pedigree suggests he's likely to bounce back at some point, and a Week 12 home game against a Steelers defense that has struggled to defend the pass offers an opportunity for the 28-year-old wide receiver to do so.

No injury designation
Moore (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
Moore made it back to full practice participation by the end of the week, after not taking part at all on Wednesday. He hurt his shoulder during last week's win over the Giants, briefly exiting the game before returning to a reduced role in the second half. Moore's target rate is just 17.8 percent this year -- his first time ever below 20 percent -- but recent comments from Bears coach Ben Johnson suggest the team is pleased with how Moore has adapted to a role with modest target volume. It could be a different story later this season if a brutal second-half schedule gets the best of the 6-3 Bears.
Nov 13, 2025
Upgrades to limited practice
Moore (shoulder) was limited in practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Moore missed Wednesday's practice due to the shoulder injury that forced him to briefly exit last week's win over the Giants, though he retook the field early in the third quarter. It's encouraging to see Moore back on the practice field and handling at least limited reps, but if he isn't able to upgrade to a full session Friday, he'll risk carrying an injury designation into Sunday's road contest against the Vikings. Rome Odunze (ankle) also upgraded to a limited practice Thursday after having been sidelined Wednesday.
Nov 12, 2025
Dealing with shoulder issue
Moore didn't practice Wednesday due to a shoulder injury.
ANALYSIS
Moore briefly exited this past Sunday's win against the Giants due to a shoulder issue but was able to return early in the third quarter. He proceeded to finish with no catches on four targets, his first time getting blanked in the box score since the Panthers made him a first-round pick in the 2018 Draft. Moore will have two more chances to practice this week before the Bears potentially make a ruling on his status for Week 11 action on Friday's injury report.
Nov 9, 2025
Blanked in Week 10 win
Moore didn't catch any of his four targets in Sunday's 24-20 win over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Moore and Rome Odunze traded places after Moore led all Bears wide receivers in receiving yards while Odunze went without a catch in the Week 9 win over the Bengals. Prior to Sunday's goose egg, Moore had at least three catches in every game this season. Chicago's wide receiver room has been hit-or-miss with the Bears leaning more on the ground game lately, but Moore will try to get back on track in Week 11 against the Vikings, just as Odunze did against the Giants.
Nov 7, 2025
Cleared for Sunday
Moore (hip/groin) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Moore hasn't been practicing on Wednesdays but typically makes it back to full participation by the end of the week. That was the case this time around, setting him up for his usual role against a struggling Big Blue defense.
Nov 6, 2025
Practices in limited fashion
Moore (hip/groin) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
ANALYSIS
As was the case in each of the previous three weeks, Moore has began Week 10 prep as a non-participant before upgrading to a limited practice a day later. Assuming the pattern from previous weeks continues to hold, Moore will practice fully Friday and avoid an injury designation for this Sunday's game against the Giants. In the four games since the Bears' Week 5 bye, Moore is averaging 67.3 yards from scrimmage and has scored one touchdown.
Nov 5, 2025
Not practicing Wednesday
Moore (hip/groin) did not practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Moore and Rome Odunze (ankle/heel) both began Week 9 as non-participants at practice before being cleared for Chicago's upset win over the Bengals, so both wideouts could simply set to again have their reps capped approaching Sunday's contest against the Giants. He managed to score twice versus Cincinnati, albeit in unorthodox fashion, with one passing touchdown (a connection to Caleb Williams) and one rushing score). Luther Burden (concussion) managed to practice in full Wednesday.
Nov 2, 2025
Scores via pass and rush
Moore went 1-for-1 passing for two yards and one touchdown, added four receptions for 72 yards on six targets, and rushed once for 17 yards and one touchdown in the Bears' 47-42 win over the Bengals on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Moore has 145 receiving yards over his last two contests (72 this game; 73 last week) after failing to reach 60 yards in any of his previous five. He's working his way back into weekly WR3 territory with multi-phase involvement boosting his opportunities.
Oct 31, 2025
Good to go
Moore (hip/groin) was a full practice participant Friday and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
Chicago's top four WRs were all listed on the injury report this week, but only No. 4 receiver Luther Burden (out - concussion) hasn't been cleared to play. Moore thus figures to handle his usual role, though perhaps with a bit more upside for carries and screens in the absence of RB D'Andre Swift (out - groin).
Oct 30, 2025
Upgrades to limited practice
Moore (hip/groin) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
ANALYSIS
After each of the Bears' top four receivers -- Moore, Rome Odunze (heel), Olamide Zaccheaus (knee) and Luther Burden (concussion) -- sat out Wednesday's session, the team received some good news with all but Moore logging limited workouts Thursday. Assuming Moore is able to maintain limited participation or upgrade to full activity Friday, he should be in line to play this Sunday in Cincinnati.
Oct 29, 2025
Sits out practice Wednesday
Moore (hip/groin) did not practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Moore wasn't assigned an injury designation Week 8 against Baltimore despite logging a DNP/LP/FP practice slate, and the Bears could have a similar plan in mind ahead of Sunday's road contest against the Bengals. Fellow wideouts Rome Odunze (heel), Luther Burden (concussion) and Olamide Zaccheaus (knee) also missed practice Wednesday, as did top running back D'Andre Swift. Moore corralled four of seven targets for a season-high 73 receiving yards versus the Ravens in Week 8, and if he manages to suit up versus Cincinnati while other notable skill-position players remain sidelined, an opportunity to build upon that momentum may present itself.
Oct 26, 2025
Four grabs in Baltimore
Moore caught four of seven targets for 73 yards and added three rushing yards on two carries in Sunday's 30-16 loss to the Ravens.
ANALYSIS
The 73 yards were a season high for Moore, although most of that production came late in the fourth quarter on a desperation heave by Caleb Williams that the 28-year-old wideout made a spectacular one-handed grab on as he raced down the sideline. Moore has taken a back seat to Rome Odunze in the Bears' passing game this season, leaving him with a 26-331-1 line on 38 targets through seven games, but he's maintained a steady PPR floor by catching at least three passes in every contest. Moore will look for a ceiling game in Week 9 against the Bengals.
Oct 24, 2025
Good to go
Moore (hip) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Baltimore.
ANALYSIS
Also listed with a hip/groin injury last week, Moore ended up handling an 87 percent snap share and 93 percent route share in a win over the Saints, catching three of five targets for 43 yards in the process. His fantasy production has been hugely disappointing this year, but there's been no hint of it costing Moore snaps/routes.
Oct 23, 2025
Practices in limited fashion
Moore (hip) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Moore was able to take some reps in the Bears' second Week 8 practice after he was held out of Wednesday's session entirely while nursing a hip issue. The Bears haven't yet indicated that Moore's status for Sunday's game in Baltimore is in any jeopardy, but he'll most likely need to upgrade to full participation in Friday's practice to avoid taking a questionable tag into the weekend.
Oct 22, 2025
Doesn't practice Wednesday
Moore (hip) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Moore emerged from Week 6 action with hip and groin injuries, and while he was listed as a DNP on the first Week 7 practice report, he progressed to limited Thursday and full Friday before avoiding an injury designation entirely ahead of this past Sunday's game versus the Saints. He then hauled in three of five passes for 43 yards and took one carry for nine yards. Moore is kicking off this week in a similar fashion to last week, but it remains to be seen if he'll be able to get back to all activity by week's end.
Oct 19, 2025
Leads team in receiving yards
Moore secured three of five targets for 43 yards and rushed once for nine yards in the Bears' 26-14 win over the Saints on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Moore went from still being in a DC-area hospital Tuesday morning following the Bears' Week 6 win over the Commanders to pacing Chicago in receiving yards and sharing the team lead in receptions Sunday. Moore didn't look any worse for wear after suffering a groin injury versus Washington, and he's now cleared 40 receiving yards in consecutive games for the second time this season. The Bears' passing attack remains a relatively low-volume one most weeks, but Moore will remain an important target for Caleb Williams in a Week 8 road matchup against the Ravens next Sunday afternoon.
Oct 17, 2025
Good to go
Moore (hip/groin) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Saints.
ANALYSIS
He started his week in the hospital but finished it as a full practice participant. Whatever the issue was after Monday's win over Washington, it apparently won't impact Moore's Week 7 availability. He should have his usual role, which has been plentiful in terms of snaps but far less fruitful for targets and production.
Oct 16, 2025
Returns as limited Thursday
Moore (hip/groin) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday.
ANALYSIS
This is a notable development considering Moore was hospitalized following Monday's win at Washington for further medical evaluation. Coach Ben Johnson revealed the concern to be a groin injury Tuesday, and Moore then didn't take part in Wednesday's walkthrough due to listed hip and groin issues. In the end, Friday's practice report will unveil Moore's odds to suit up Sunday against the Saints.
Oct 15, 2025
DNP on Wednesday
Moore (hip/groin) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated injury report.
ANALYSIS
During Monday's 25-24 win at Washington, Moore paid a visit to the sideline tent but played through whatever was bothering him, logging 60 of 64 offensive snaps (94 percent) and hauling in three of five targets for 42 yards and two carries for 10 yards. Afterward, he was admitted to a local hospital for a precautionary medical evaluation, and coach Ben Johnson relayed to Scott Bair of Marquee Sports Network on Tuesday that Moore was dealing with a groin injury. The Bears listed hip and groin issues as the reasons for Moore's DNP at Wednesday's walkthrough, so his status bears watching in advance of Sunday's game against the Saints.
Oct 14, 2025
Managing groin injury
Bears head coach Ben Johnson said that Moore is nursing a groin injury but has returned to Chicago after being hospitalized in Washington, D.C. overnight following Monday's 25-24 win over the Commanders, Scott Bair of Marquee Sports Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The injury didn't cost Moore any extensive playing time Monday, with the wideout finishing the contest with three catches for 42 yards on five targets to go with two carries for 10 yards. The 28-year-old was nonetheless admitted to a local hospital after the game due to the injury, though he was held overnight merely for precautionary purposes. Johnson said that the Bears will continue to monitor Moore's status, but for now, the receiver still looks to have a chance at playing in Week 7 against the Saints.
Oct 14, 2025
Admitted to hospital
Moore was transported to a hospital following Monday night's game against the Commanders, and he will be held overnight for precautionary medical evaluation, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The details surrounding Moore's admission to the hospital are unclear. He briefly spent time in the medical tent in the first half but was back on the field after halftime and well into the fourth quarter. Coach Ben Johnson is expected to provide further details about Moore's status at some point on Tuesday afternoon.
Oct 14, 2025
Nets 52 yards in win
Moore brought in three of five targets for 42 yards while adding 10 rushing yards on two attempts in Monday's 25-24 win over Washington.
ANALYSIS
Moore finished in a tie with fellow starter Rome Odunze with both players recording five targets apiece in Monday's win. The former had the superior fantasy score when factoring in his work as a rusher. Moore has been a bit of a letdown in fantasy with his 19-215-1 receiving line across five starts. The 28-year-old is still providing enough of a floor for his managers to warrant starting against the Saints on Sunday.
Sep 28, 2025
Pedestrian outing Sunday
Moore brought in four of five targets for 38 yards in Sunday's 25-24 win over Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Moore took a back seat to Rome Odunze (4-69-1) yet again as a changing of the guard appears to have taken place in Chicago's receiver room. The 28-year-old Moore has taken on more of a complementary role alongside the Bears' upstart receivers, resulting in fantasy totals below what managers had bargained for heading into drafts. Moore still possesses a consistent role in new head coach Ben Johnson's offense, garnering five to six targets on a weekly basis. With tempered expectations, Moore can still provide flex value out of Chicago's upcoming bye week when play resumes against the Commanders in Week 6.
Sep 22, 2025
Saves day with late TD
Moore recorded four receptions on five targets for 21 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-14 win over the Cowboys. He added three rushes for seven yards.
ANALYSIS
Moore continued to be overshadowed by Rome Odunze, but he also lost out to Luther Burden in the blowout win. Moore still finished second on the team in targets, but his longest gain went for only 12 yards as he was targeted exclusively in short areas of the field. He saved his day with a four-yard touchdown catch late in the fourth quarter, his first trip to the end zone this season. Nevertheless, Moore has yet to see more than six targets in a game and has topped 50 receiving yards only once in three contests.
Sep 14, 2025
Modest yardage on five grabs
Moore secured five of six targets for 46 yards in the Bears' 52-21 loss to the Lions on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Moore was a distant second in receiving yards and targets to Rome Odunze while finishing as the runner-up in receptions as well. As such, Moore took a clear back seat to Odunze in the air attack for at least this week, but the pecking order Sunday could indeed be a harbinger of what's to come as the season unfolds. Moore does have an 8-114-0 receiving line on 11 targets through two games heading into a Week 3 home matchup against the Cowboys next Sunday afternoon.
Sep 10, 2025
Listed as full Wednesday
Moore (abdomen/groin) was listed as full on Wednesday's practice estimate, Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore remained on the turf for multiple minutes after being hit by two Vikings defenders while trying to haul in a Caleb Williams pass in the fourth quarter of Monday's loss. He remained in the game, though, and finished with three catches (on five targets) for 68 yards, three carries for eight yards and a lost fumble while playing 84 percent (56 of 67) of the offensive snaps. Wednesday's injury report clarifies the health concerns that Moore is dealing with, but his lack of limitations indicate he'll gut through them in Sunday's contest at Detroit.
Sep 9, 2025
Notches 68 receiving yards in loss
Moore caught three of five targets for 68 yards, rushed three times for eight yards and lost a fumble in Monday's 27-24 loss to the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
Moore stayed down after taking a big hit in the fourth quarter but eventually stayed in the game after talking to trainers, as evidenced by his fumble, which came as the Bears were attempting laterals on the game's final play. He occasionally lined up in the backfield in addition to his customary role at wide receiver, so Moore looks likely to handle a few rushing attempts on a weekly basis moving forward. Moore led the Bears in receiving yards each of the past two seasons, so it's no surprise that he topped that category for the team in Monday's season opener. The 28-year-old wide receiver should remain heavily involved in Week 2 against the Lions.
Aug 23, 2025
Gains 14 yards Friday
Moore brought in his lone target for 14 receiving yards in Friday's 29-27 preseason win over the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Moore made his second appearance with the starting offense this preseason, making a nice grab after securing two balls in last week's exhibition. Fantasy managers should expect more production from the talented wideout once the regular season kicks off, especially in an overhauled offense led by head coach Ben Johnson. A clean bill of health should result in the fifth 1,000-yard receiving season of Moore's career after falling just short of that mark last year in QB Caleb Williams' rookie season.
Aug 17, 2025
Nabs two receptions Sunday
Moore corralled both of his targets for 16 yards in Sunday's preseason win over the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Moore made his 2025 preseason debut with the rest of the first-team offense Sunday. QB Caleb Williams was in sync with his No. 1 target, connecting on a pair of tight sideline throws before exiting after two offensive drives. Moore fell 34 yards short of a 1,000-yard receiving season in 2024, something new HC Ben Johnson will look to amend for his top wideout.
Aug 13, 2025
Set for preseason action
Bears head coach Ben Johnson said Wednesday that the Bears' starters, including Moore, will suit up for Sunday's preseason game against Buffalo, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore and the majority of starters sat out Chicago's preseason opener against Miami last weekend, presumably while still picking up Johnson's playbook, but the first-team offense will make its exhibition debut versus the Bills on Sunday. Johnson has regularly deployed Moore out of the backfield throughout training camp, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports, with offensive coordinator Declan Doyle saying the team is "trying to get him touches in every way we can." Moore remains positioned as the No. 1 wideout for second-year quarterback Caleb Williams, but given the tough target competition of Chicago's crowded skill-position groups, an uptick in designed plays out of the backfield would be a welcome development. Last season, Moore logged a career-high 14 carries for 75 yards, though he didn't score on the ground.
Jul 30, 2025
Seeing action out of backfield
Moore has been getting reps out of the backfield at Bears training camp, Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
ANALYSIS
"He's a physical, run-after-catch, just-get-me-the-ball type of guy," coach Ben Johnson said Tuesday. "There's a number of things that we're looking to do and explore how we get him the ball and get him in space." Moore is no stranger to seeing snaps out of the backfield, as he registered a career-high 14 carries last season, turning them into 75 scoreless yards. The Panthers also used Moore in a similar role during his 2018 rookie season, handing him the ball 13 times for 172 yards. Chicago has a plethora of weapons at Caleb Williams' disposal, and Moore is consistently being taken as a WR2 in fantasy drafts this summer.
Jun 4, 2025
Embracing new coaching culture
Bears head coach Ben Johnson said Tuesday that Moore "has been a guy that's highly motivated" during voluntary OTAs, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun Times reports.
ANALYSIS
"[Moore] wants to be as complete of a receiver as he can possibly be, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to get there," Johnson said. The wide receiver's poor body language last season was also addressed by Johnson, who said at the start of OTAs that the offseason will be "all about educating" Chicago's players about new team culture expectations. Moore said Tuesday that his body language was brought up once this offseason, but that "we nipped it in the bud and it never happened again." Entering his second season with Caleb Williams under center, the departure of Keenan Allen in free agency leaves Moore as the clear leader among the Bears' pass-catching corps, and he remains entrenched as the team's No. 1 wideout. Chicago's O-line upgrades and Johnson's track record in Detroit both point to a much improved offense for 2025, but Moore faces considerable target competition from last year's No. 9 overall pick Rome Odunze, rookie second-rounder Luther Burden (undisclosed) and tight end Colston Loveland (sho
Jan 5, 2025
Busy day in finale
Moore secured nine of 10 targets for 86 yards and a touchdown and rushed once for five yards in the Bears' 24-22 win over the Packers on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.
ANALYSIS
Moore led the Bears in receptions, receiving yards and targets, a customary development for the talented veteran. He did almost all the work on his 32-yard touchdown catch early in the fourth quarter, taking a screen and weaving his way down the right side of the field to pay dirt. Moore worked well with rookie first overall pick Caleb Williams all season, posting posting a career-high 98 receptions for 966 yards and six touchdowns while playing all 17 regular-season games for the fourth time in as many seasons since the schedule expanded in 2021.
Dec 26, 2024
Eight touches in Week 17 loss
Moore brought in six of eight targets for 54 yards and rushed twice for eight yards in the Bears' 6-3 loss to the Seahawks on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Moore set the pace for the Bears in receptions and receiving yards while sharing the team lead in targets with Keenan Allen. It was another typically busy four quarters for the veteran wideout, who was also the intended target on Caleb Williams' game-ending fourth-down downfield heave. Moore extended his streak of games with at least six catches to seven games and has seen at least seven targets in seven consecutive contests heading into a Week 18 road battle against the Packers on Sunday, Jan. 5.
Dec 22, 2024
Another busy afternoon Sunday
Moore secured seven of 10 targets for 68 yards and rushed once for two yards in the Bears' 34-17 loss to the Lions on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Moore put together a signature PPR-friendly line, finishing second in receptions, receiving yards and targets behind Keenan Allen and his season-best performance. Moore has at least seven catches in five of the last six games and six grabs in the other contest in that sample, affording him a coveted safe floor in PPR formats heading into a Week 17 home matchup against the Seahawks on Thursday night where he should also garner a fair share of Caleb Williams' attention.
Dec 17, 2024
Posts PPR gem Monday
Moore hauled in all eight of his targets for 46 yards while adding three rushing attempts for 24 yards in Monday's 30-12 loss to Minnesota.
ANALYSIS
Moore led the Bears in receptions despite seeing five fewer targets than fellow wideout Keenan Allen. The latter produced the better fantasy score after reeling in his fourth touchdown in as many weeks, but Moore provided an especially strong line for those in PPR formats. Expect both of Chicago's top receivers to be busy in Week 16 with a tough matchup on tap against the Lions on Sunday.
Dec 8, 2024
Leading receiver on six receptions
Moore (quadriceps) finished with six receptions on eight targets for 49 yards in Sunday's 38-13 loss to San Francisco.
ANALYSIS
Moore overcame a quadriceps injury in order to suit up Sunday and lead the Bears in all receiving categories except scoring. That honor went to rookie wideout Rome Odunze, who cashed in both of Caleb Williams' late touchdown strikes in the lopsided loss. Moore's production paled in comparison to his previous two contests in which he racked up 15 receptions for 203 yards and two scores. The durable receiver should remain a focal point of Chicago's passing attack when the team visits Minnesota next Monday.
Dec 8, 2024
Playing in Week 14
Moore (quadriceps) is active for Sunday's game in San Francisco.
ANALYSIS
Moore was contained to just one limited practice (Friday) during Week 14 prep, but he relayed to Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com afterward, "I play through everything." Indeed, Moore will be available to the Bears offense for the 13th time in as many contests this season, and he's coming off his most productive two-game stretch of the season (15-203-2 line on 23 targets) from Weeks 12 and 13.
Dec 8, 2024
Looks likely to play Week 14
Moore (quadriceps), who is questionable for Sunday's matchup versus San Francisco, is expected to suit up, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Schefter's report seems to confirm Moore's own words Friday, when he suggested he would be able to take the field against the 49ers. The veteran receiver last missed a regular-season contest in 2020, so he's proven to be able to push through the wears and tears of the NFL season. If Moore is indeed able to play Sunday, he'll try to build upon a pair of consecutive big performances, as he totaled 15 catches for 203 yards and two touchdowns over the past two weeks.
Dec 6, 2024
Optimistic he'll play
Moore (quadriceps) is optimistic he'll play against the 49ers on Sunday, after being listed as questionable on the final injury report, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
"I play through everything," Moore said Friday, suggesting he expects to play despite managing just one limited practice at the end of the week. He's missed two games in seven NFL seasons, with a concussion holding him out for the 2019 finale and then COVID keeping him out Week 14 of 2020. Moore has played through his fair share of minor injuries, but he's also had better luck than most at simply avoiding them in the first place. In any case, it sounds like his odds are better than 50/50 to avoid the inactive list ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.
Dec 6, 2024
Questionable for Week 14
Moore (quadriceps) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore logged a limited practice session Friday, but it appears his quad injury has a legitimate chance of impacting his availability for Week 14. The standout receiver's status will be made official no later than 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. D'Andre Swift (quadriceps) is also listed as questionable for Sunday's road matchup, though on a bright note for Chicago, Keenan Allen does not carry an injury designation after returning to practice as a full participant Thursday.
Dec 5, 2024
Sidelined for another practice
Moore (quadricep) didn't practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
While Keenan Allen (ankle) returned to practice Thursday as a full participant after sitting out Wednesday, Moore remained a spectator for the second straight day. In order to avoid taking a designation into Sunday's game at San Francisco, Moore will likely need to practice in at least a limited fashion Friday. If Moore can't shake off the quad injury ahead of Sunday's contest, Allen and fellow wideouts Rome Odunze and tight end Cole Kmet would represent the top pass-catching options for quarterback Caleb Williams.
Dec 4, 2024
Misses practice Wednesday
Moore (quadriceps) did not practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Moore is fresh off an 8-97-1 (16 targets) performance logged during Chicago's 23-20 loss to the Lions on Thanksgiving, and in the process it appears that he picked up a quad injury. Keenan Allen (ankle) is also sidelined at practice Wednesday, and it's possible the Bears are simply taking a cautious approach to the health of their top two wideouts, but Moore's status now needs to be carefully monitored ahead of Sunday's road matchup against the 49ers. Rookie first-rounder Rome Odunze would step into an increased role on offense if either Moore or Allen are forced to miss any time.
Nov 28, 2024
Resurgence continues Thursday
Moore caught eight passes for 97 yards and one touchdown on 16 targets against Detroit on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
There were some missed opportunities and overall it wasn't an efficient day for Moore on a per-target basis, but the target volume and resulting production still made it a good day for Moore's fantasy investors. That the Bears managed to lose in such memorable and embarrassing fashion might provoke further shakeups in the Chicago coaching staff, but the last two weeks have otherwise been encouraging for Moore. The Bears face San Francisco on the road in Week 14.
Nov 24, 2024
Perfect effort in OT loss
Moore recorded seven receptions on seven targets for 106 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-27 overtime loss to the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
Moore showed the ability to connect with Caleb Williams in all areas of the field in the loss, as he had long gains of 37 and 27 yards, the latter of which set up a game-tying field goal to send the game to overtime. He also worked effectively in the short areas of the field, including on a 10-yard touchdown reception early in the fourth quarter -- his first trip to the end zone since Week 5. While it's been a disappointing season for Moore, he has 14 receptions on 14 targets for 168 yards across two games since Chicago made a change at offensive coordinator.
Nov 17, 2024
Team-high catch total in loss
Moore secured all seven targets for 62 yards and rushed once for five yards in the Bears' 20-19 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Moore led the Bears in receptions while checking in second in receiving yards in Chicago's first game under interim offensive coordinator Thomas Brown. The veteran wideout's catch total was his highest since Week 3, while his yardage tally was his best over the last five games. Given Moore hadn't cleared 33 receiving yards in the last four contests under former offensive coordinator Shane Waldron, there's reason for optimism heading into a Week 12 home clash against an inconsistent Vikings secondary.

Quiet in Sunday's loss
Moore caught three of six targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 19-3 loss to the Patriots. He added three rushing yards on his lone carry.
ANALYSIS
Caleb Williams was sacked nine times on the day and had no time in the pocket behind an injury-ravaged offensive line, and as a result Moore's production suffered once again. Over the last four games, the star wideout has managed just a 13-104-0 line on 24 targets. Unless the offensive line gets healthier, Moore and the rest of the Bears' skill players will be tough to trust heading into a Week 11 rivalry game against the Packers.
Nov 3, 2024
Struggles continue
Moore recorded four receptions on nine targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 29-9 loss to the Cardinals.
ANALYSIS
Moore saw his highest target total since Week 3, but he continued to struggle to get on the same page with Caleb Williams. He managed a 16-yard gain to help set up a field goal just before halftime but otherwise failed to make much of an impact on the game. Moore now has under 40 receiving yards in five of eight contests for the campaign.
Oct 27, 2024
Another poor perfromance
Moore caught two passes for 27 yards in the Bears' 18-15 loss to the Commanders on Sunday. He also rushed twice for seven yards.
ANALYSIS
Moore struggled in a game in which Caleb Williams completed just 10 passes. However, the receiver has been held to 27 or fewer receiving yards in three of the last four games. The pass catcher has one game this season with double-digit PPR points, and Moore is on pace for one of the worst seasons of his career.
Oct 13, 2024
Low yardage in victory
Moore caught four passes for 20 yards in the Bears' 35-16 win over the Jaguars on Sunday in London.
ANALYSIS
Moore was tackled just short of the goal line on a play that could have salvaged his fantasy day. With the Bears dominating the Jaguars, there was little need to force passes to Moore, so the receiver saw a season low five targets. On the season Moore has at least eight targets on four occasions, so he'll usually be a high-floor fantasy option with big-game potential.
Oct 6, 2024
Two TDs in Week 5 win
Moore caught five of eight targets for 105 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 36-10 win over the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
Moore got the Bears on the board with a 34-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter and added a 30-yard touchdown reception late in the first half. He set a season high in receiving yards and is the clear top option in a Bears receiving corps that also includes Keenan Allen and rookie first-round pick Rome Odunze, who combined for 73 yards on 12 targets in Sunday's win. Moore has three touchdowns in his last two games heading into a Week 6 matchup against the leaky Jacksonville secondary in London.
Sep 29, 2024
First TD with Williams
Moore secured three of six targets for 22 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 24-18 win over the Rams on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Moore tied with Cole Kmet for second on the team in receptions and was the runner-up in targets as well. However, on what was otherwise a pedestrian afternoon, Moore had a hand in a notable moment when he secured a nine-yard touchdown grab late in the third quarter from Caleb Williams, his first in conjunction with the rookie first overall pick. Moore's slight drop in production is likely an outlier given he's been heavily involved each week to date, and he'll have a chance for a bounce-back effort against a vulnerable Panthers secondary at home in Week 5.
Sep 22, 2024
Eight grabs in Sunday's loss
Moore caught eight of 10 targets for 78 yards in Sunday's 21-16 loss to the Colts.
ANALYSIS
The veteran wideout actually finished third on the Bears in both receiving yards and targets behind Rome Odunze and Cole Kmet, as Caleb Williams erupted for 363 passing yards. More than half of Moore's production came on a hail mary at the end of the first half, when he caught a tipped ball at the one-yard line but couldn't get into the end zone. Moore has consistently been Williams' first read and has 28 targets through three games, and that volume could start turning into more production if the rookie quarterback is beginning to shake off his jitters. Moore will look to build on this performance in Week 4 against the Rams.
Sep 16, 2024
Leads team in receiving on SNF
Moore finished with six receptions (10 targets) for 53 yards in Sunday's 19-13 loss to Houston.
ANALYSIS
Moore continues to be rookie quarterback Caleb Williams' favorite target through two games this season. The volume has helped offset the star wideout's lack of touchdowns as the Bears continue to search for a passing score through eight quarters of action. Moore's production should rise alongside improved play from his rookie signal-caller as Chicago prepares to travel to Indianapolis in Week 3.
Sep 8, 2024
Shows rapport with Williams
Moore recorded five receptions on eight targets for 36 tards in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Titans.
ANALYSIS
Moore didn't have a particularly strong stat line, but he showed the best rapport with Caleb Williams of the Bears' pass catchers. He caught each of Williams' three longest completions, which went for gains of 13, 12 and 11 yards. While it was a disappointing start to the season for Chicago's offense, better production can be expected in future weeks and Moore looks to still be the centerpiece of the unit after his excellent 2023 campaign.

Most starters to sit Thursday
Coach Matt Eberflus said Tuesday that the majority of Chicago's starters will sit for Thursday's preseason finale against the Chiefs, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Eberflus specified that quarterback Caleb Williams won't play Thursday, and it seems all but assured that Moore will be included in the group of players held out until the regular-season opener against Tennessee. Moore has spent the offseason developing chemistry with Williams, whose presence under center promises to notably upgrade Chicago's passing game, even accounting for any time needed to adapt to the speed of the NFL. Even if the additions of Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze threaten Moore's ability to replicate his 28.8 percent target share from last season, an improved offense as a whole could represent a net positive to Moore's fantasy prospects, at least in terms of consistency.
Aug 10, 2024
Catches pair of Williams passes
Moore caught two of three targets for 27 yards in Saturday's 33-6 preseason win over the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Moore was the only wide receiver to record a catch while rookie quarterback Caleb Williams is in the game, as Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze combined for only one target. Those offseason additions could cut into Moore's volume after Moore led the team with 136 targets last season, but Chicago's entire passing game has a much higher ceiling with Williams under center than it did with Justin Fields last season. Moore will look to keep building chemistry with Williams as the Bears continue preseason play next Saturday against the Bengals.

Inks extension
Moore and the Bears have come to terms on a four-year, $110 million extension that includes $82.5 million guaranteed, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
After spending his first five seasons in Carolina, Moore produced career highs across the board with the Bears in 2023, including 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns on 96 receptions. The Chicago offense will look drastically different this year, as Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze join the receiving room and 2024 first overall pick Caleb Williams takes over as the starting QB. Chicago also added tight end Gerald Everett and running back D'Andre Swift in the offseason, so it seems unlikely that Moore will be able to match his 28.8 percent target share from last year, regardless of his salary.
Jul 30, 2024
Inks extension
Moore and the Bears have come to terms on a four-year, $110 million extension that includes $82.5 million guaranteed, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
After spending his first five seasons in Carolina, Moore experienced career-highs across the board with the Bears in 2023, including 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns on 96 receptions. The offense will look drastically different this year, as he will share the receiving room with the likes of Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze, as well as catch passes from No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams. Chicago also added TE Gerald Everett and RB D'Andre Swift, so it seems unlikely that Moore will be able to match his 28-8 percent target share from last year. Still, the team is clearly invested in the veteran pass catcher going forward.
May 3, 2024
Returning to remade offense
Moore worked out in April with Bears QB Caleb Williams and fellow Bears WRs Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The workouts took place shortly before the draft, at which point Williams was all but locked in as the No. 1 overall pick for Chicago (and Odunze considered a strong candidate to join him at No. 9). The Bears ended up with both, completing their offseason makeover on offense after trading for Allen and signing RB D'Andre Swift and TE Gerald Everett. The crowded pass-catching corps means Moore is unlikely to match his career-high 28.8 percent target share from 2023, though there likely will be more overall targets, as the Bears figure to call pass plays at a higher rate and will no longer have sack/scramble-happy Justin Fields under center.
Jan 7, 2024
Best season of career
Moore caught four passes for 64 yards in the Bears' 17-9 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
After five seasons in Carolina, Moore had the best quarterback play during his time in the NFL, and he turned into to a career year. The veteran caught 96 passes for 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns on 130 targets. Although the target total was the fourth-highest of his career, he bested his career high in receiving yards by 171 yards. His eight scores was one more than his previous career mark that he set in 2022. With the expectation that Moore will have at least the same level of quarterback play, and possibly an elevated level, the receiver will likely be one of the top receivers selected in 2024 fantasy drafts.
Jan 5, 2024
Cleared to face Green Bay
Moore (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Packers.
ANALYSIS
Moore hurt his ankle early in Chicago's Week 16 game and had just 18 yards in a 27-16 win over Arizona, but he then came back last week with 9-159-1 receiving line in a blowout of the Falcons and now will play in the season finale. Moore even upgraded to full practice participation Friday after sitting out the previous two days.
Jan 4, 2024
Remains limited Thursday
Moore (ankle) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Moore was forced out of a Week 16 win against the Cardinals for a handful of snaps after his right ankle was rolled up on, but he avoided the Bears' Week 17 practice report entirely. He then had a field day versus the Falcons this past Sunday, reeling off nine catches (on 13 targets) for 159 yards and one touchdown. Nearly two weeks removed from the initial injury, Moore is experiencing restrictions on his on-field work, likely as a precautionary measure, and there's a chance Chicago clears up his status for Sunday's game in Green Bay as soon as it posts its final injury report of the week Friday.
Jan 3, 2024
Starts week with limited practice
Moore (ankle) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Moore missed part of the the Week 16 win over the Cardinals after a defender rolled up on his ankle, but he returned to that game and looked no worse for wear in Week 17 against the Falcons, posting 159 yards and a touchdown. The star receiver's likely to upgrade to full participation Thursday or Friday and could avoid the injury report altogether as the Bears try to play spoiler against the NFC North rival Packers on Sunday.
Jan 1, 2024
Spectacular numbers in win
Moore brought in nine of 13 targets for 159 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 37-17 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Moore easily paced the Bears in receptions, receiving yards and targets, authoring his first 100-yard game since Week 12 and only his second overall since Week 5. Moore also opened the scoring on the day with a seven-yard touchdown grab in the first quarter, and he appeared completely unencumbered by the ankle injury that cost him some time in Week 16. Moore will have one more chance to build on what has already been a career-best campaign when the Bears face the Packers at Lambeau Field in Week 18.
Dec 24, 2023
Records just three catches Sunday
Moore notched three catches (on six targets) for 18 yards during Sunday's 27-16 victory versus the Cardinals.
ANALYSIS
On the Bears' second play from scrimmage, Moore recorded a six-yard catch, but as he was taken to the ground, his right ankle was rolled up on. He remained on the turf for several minutes and then visited the sideline tent for even longer, but after being deemed questionable to return, he reentered the contest. Overall, it marked Moore's least productive outing in terms of yards this season, and the six targets matched his third fewest in a game through 15 outings. Afterward, he told Alex Shapiro of NBC Sports Chicago that he "was hurting" but then "thought ... 'Why not just go out there and play?'" As such, Moore seems like a good bet to show up on Bears injury reports as the team prepares for its next game Sunday, Dec. 31 against the Falcons.
Dec 24, 2023
Back in action
Moore (ankle) returned to Sunday's game versus the Cardinals, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore had his right ankle rolled up on by an Arizona defender on his first catch of the game. He spent time laying on the turf in pain and then a lengthy spell in the sideline tent. When he emerged, Moore had a large wrap on the ankle, but he'll attempt to play through the pain Sunday.
Dec 24, 2023
Hurts right ankle Sunday
Moore injured his right ankle during Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Chris Emma of 670TheScore.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore was targeted by Justin Fields on the quarterback's first pass of the game, which he hauled in for a six-yard gain. As Moore was taken to the ground, his right ankle was rolled up on, and he remained on the turf for a spell before making his way to the sideline with team trainers. He then visited the medical tent, and after he emerged he had a large wrap on the ankle in question and walked with a visible limp. Officially, Moore is questionable to return.
Dec 17, 2023
Leading receiver in loss
Moore caught four of eight targets for 52 yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Tight end Cole Kmet wound up pacing the Bears in receptions, but Moore was the team leader in targets and yards. It was still his worst output since Week 9, but a minor ankle injury that limited him during practice leading up to Sunday's contest could help explain the modest numbers. Moore has posted a 28-330-2 line on 40 targets in four games since Justin Fields returned to the lineup, making him a strong fantasy option in Week 16 against the Cardinals.
Dec 17, 2023
Good to go in Cleveland
Moore (ankle) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Browns, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 26-year-old tweaked his ankle last week against Detroit but is ready to play Week 15 after being labeled questionable. Moore has been especially productive over the past three games with 24 receptions for 278 yards and two touchdowns in addition to three carries for 20 yards and another score.
Dec 16, 2023
In line to play Sunday
Moore (ankle) is expected to play Sunday at Cleveland, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore twisted his ankle last Sunday against the Lions but still played 65 of 71 offensive snaps (92 percent) on his way to six catches (on 10 targets) for 68 yards, three carries for 20 yards and two total touchdowns. He opened Week 15 prep with no activity Wednesday before logging a limited practice Thursday and a full session Friday. Despite increasing his workload incrementally, Moore entered the weekend as questionable for Sunday's game, but it appears that merely was a precautionary measure. His status will be confirmed about 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
Dec 15, 2023
Officially questionable for Sunday
Moore (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Cleveland.
ANALYSIS
In the midst of the Bears' 28-13 win against the Lions this past Sunday, Moore twisted his ankle but played through the pain en route to six catches (on 10 targets) for 68 yards and one touchdown and three carries for 20 yards and another score. The injury kept him out of drills Wednesday, but he proceeded to log a limited session Thursday before returning to all activity to wrap up Week 15 prep. This last point is a good enough sign that Moore will be available Sunday, but his status won't be confirmed until approximately 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
Dec 14, 2023
Limited in return to practice
Moore (ankle) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
ANALYSIS
While Moore hasn't shaken off the ankle injury just yet, his ability to practice in a limited fashion Thursday at least represents progress after he was held out of Wednesday's session entirely. In order to avoid taking an injury designation into Sunday's game in Cleveland, Moore will likely need to conclude Week 15 prep with a full practice Friday. Since Justin Fields returned to the lineup Week 11 following a four-game absence due to a dislocated thumb, Moore has been a top-flight fantasy producer with 24 catches for 278 yards and two touchdowns to go with three carries for 20 yards and another score over a stretch of three contests.
Dec 13, 2023
Misses practice after twisting ankle
Moore missed Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury that he suffered early in the third quarter of Sunday's 28-13 win over Detroit, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore twisted/rolled an ankle on his third and final carry of the day, which surprisingly occurred before he saw his first target. He played through the injury without any limitations, going on to catch six of 10 targets for 68 yards and a touchdown during a second half dominated by the Bears. Moore's injury doesn't sound serious, but it's still worth tracking ahead of Sunday's game at Cleveland after he opened the week with an absence from practice.
Dec 10, 2023
Two touchdowns in victory
Moore recorded six receptions on 10 targets for 68 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-13 win over the Lions. He added three rushes for 20 yards and an additional touchdown.
ANALYSIS
Moore got involved in the offense immediately, as he capped the team's opening drive with a 16-yard rushing touchdown. However, he was held off the stat sheet from there and didn't have a reception or target at halftime. That changed in the final two quarters, as he still managed to lead the team in targets, receptions and yards. Moore's day as a receiver was highlighted by a 38-yard touchdown catch late in the third quarter when he beat his defender deep for what ultimately became the game-winning touchdown. He now has a touchdown in two of his last three games and has 278 receiving yards in that same span.
Nov 27, 2023
Monster primetime performance
Moore brought in 11 of 13 targets for 114 yards in the Bears' 12-10 win over the Vikings on Monday night.
ANALYSIS
The veteran wideout was the epitome of a No. 1 receiver in the low-scoring win, accounting for well over half of Justin Fields' 217 passing yards while leading the Bears in receptions and targets by a wide margin as well. Moore also saved his best for last, recording 16- and 36-yard grabs on what would turn out to be Chicago's game-winning drive. Moore's catch total was a season high, and his yardage tally was his first over the century mark since Week 5. Following the Week 13 bye, Moore gets a crack at a Lions defense he posted a 7-96-1 line against during the first meeting between the division rivals.
Nov 19, 2023
Rekindles chemistry with Fields
Moore caught seven of nine targets for 96 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-26 loss to the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Moore's production picked back up with Justin Fields (thumb) throwing him the ball for the first time since Week 6. After failing to get into the end zone in any of Tyson Bagent's four starts, Moore scored his sixth touchdown in Fields' seven starts. The score came on a 39-yard deep deep ball in the third quarter. Moore came four yards short of his fourth 100-yard receiving performance in Fields' last five full games, so Chicago's No. 1 receiver will have plenty of Week 12 fantasy appeal on Monday Night Football against Minnesota's shaky secondary.
Nov 9, 2023
Team-high receiving yardage in win
Moore secured five of nine targets for 58 yards and rushed once for one yard in the Bears' 16-13 win over the Panthers on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Moore set the pace for the Bears in receiving yards and targets while tying Cole Kmet for the team lead in receptions. The talented wideout wasn't able to come close to a top-end performance against his old squad, but Moore's receiving yardage total was his highest since his breakout 230-yard effort in Week 5 against the Commanders. The veteran could see a boost in production again in a Week 11 divisional clash against the Lions on Nov. 19 that should mark Justin Fields' (thumb) return to action.
Nov 5, 2023
Another modest performance
Moore caught three passes for 44 yards in the Bears' 24-17 loss to the Saints on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
In the three games that Tyson Bagent has been Chicago's starting quarterback, Moore has posted between 44 and 55 yards while not finding the end zone. Moore will hope that Justin Fields (thumb) returns in Week 10, so the star receiver can resume a streak in which he had at least 104 yards in three of four games before Bagent took over.
Nov 5, 2023
Quiet game in Week 9 loss
Moore secured three of five targets for 55 yards in the Bears' 24-17 loss to the Saints on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.
ANALYSIS
It was a ragged day all the way around for the normally reliable receiver, finishing behind both Cole Kmet and Darnell Mooney in receptions while also losing a fumble in Bears territory early in the third quarter that led to a Saints field goal. Moore has now been under the 100-yard mark in four consecutive contests after a stellar two-game stretch in Weeks 4 and 5, but he could have Justin Fields (thumb) back under center in a Week 10 home matchup against the Panthers on Thursday night.
Oct 30, 2023
Gains 55 yards versus top corner
Moore had four receptions on six targets for 55 yards in Sunday's 30-13 loss to the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Sunday Night Football featured teams with losing records in Week 8, but fans were treated to an individual battle between two of the league's top talents when Moore locked horns with Chargers lockdown corner Asante Samuel. Both players had their moments, with the end result being a solid receiving line for Chicago's young star. Moore hasn't been able to recapture the magic from his whopping three-touchdown game in Week 5, but his fantasy floor remains high heading into Week 9 after reaching 50 yards in three straight games.
Oct 22, 2023
Eight catches in win over Vegas
Moore caught eight of nine targets for 54 yards in Sunday's 30-12 win over the Raiders.
ANALYSIS
With undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent under center in place of Justin Fields (thumb), the Bears' passing game was limited to short, safe tosses, but Moore was still the team's top option through the air. The former Panther has exactly eight catches in three of the last four games, amassing a 29-466-4 line on 36 targets over that stretch, but if Fields isn't able to return in Week 8 against the Chargers, Moore will likely be more of a floor than a ceiling play.
Oct 15, 2023
Modest output in loss
Moore brought in five of eight targets for 51 yards in the Bears' 19-13 loss to the Vikings on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Moore did lead the Bears in receptions, receiving yards and targets, but his numbers were a far cry from his standout 8-230-3 line against the Commanders in a Thursday night Week 5 win. Moore's output was naturally affected by Justin Fields' early exit from the game with a hand injury and undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent replacing him. Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports X-rays on Fields' hand were negative and that the third-year quarterback will undergo an MRI on Monday, and Moore's near-term fantasy prospects will likely hinge largely on how soon Fields can get back under center.
Oct 5, 2023
Explodes for career-best showing
Moore brought in eight of 10 targets for 230 yards and three touchdowns in the Bears' 40-20 win over the Commanders on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
The prized offseason acquisition was coming off his most productive game in a Bears uniform yet in Week 4 against the Broncos, when he'd posted an 8-131-1 line. Moore managed to outdo himself by a wide margin on the same number of catches Thursday, hauling in touchdown grabs of 20, 11 and 56 yards, with the last two coming in contested situations. Moore's third scoring catch, which saw him run free 48 yards down the sideline into the end zone after the reception, sealed the game for Chicago by extending its 37-20 lead. Moore now has five touchdowns in five games after recording seven across 17 contests with the Panthers a year ago, and he'll next get a crack at a vulnerable Vikings defense in a Week 6 home matchup on Sunday. Oct. 15.
Oct 1, 2023
Best game of season Sunday
Moore secured eight of nine targets for 131 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 31-28 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Moore comfortably set the pace for the Bears in receiving yards while tying with Cole Kmet for the lead in targets as well. The veteran wideout's touchdown grab was a thing of beauty along the right sideline in the end zone in the first quarter from 29 yards, and all of his reception, receiving yardage and target totals were his best of the season. Moore will certainly be a primary beneficiary if Justin Fields can continue to perform as he did for most of Sunday's four-touchdown effort, and the duo will look to remain hot in a Week 5 Thursday night matchup on the road against the Commanders.
Sep 24, 2023
Scores TD in garbage time
Moore had three receptions on six targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 41-10 loss to Kansas City.
ANALYSIS
Moore cashed in his first touchdown with the Bears on the team's final offensive drive of an ugly loss Sunday. Garbage-time scores count all the same in fantasy, giving the wideout his second consecutive quality line after going for 104 yards last week. He did leave a chunk of yards on the table on a deep pass attempt from Justin Fields that was dropped by the normally sure-handed receiver. Moore will draw a tough matchup against shutdown corner Patrick Surtain when the Bears face the Broncos next Sunday.
Sep 17, 2023
Eclipses century mark in loss
Moore brought in six of seven targets for 104 yards in the Bears' 27-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Moore comfortably led the Bears in receiving yardage while also setting the pace in receptions. The veteran's performance following a quiet debut in the Week 1 loss to the Packers was along the lines of what was expected after a strong body of work during OTAs and training camp, and Moore will undoubtedly be called upon plenty as the Bears look to keep up with the Bears in a Week 3 road matchup.
Sep 10, 2023
Quiet Bears debut
Moore finished with just two catches on two targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Packers.
ANALYSIS
Moore was held in check in his Bears debut, with five teammates garnering more looks than him in the passing game. To his credit, Moore hauled in the only pair of throws his way, but he nonetheless failed to make a meaningful impact in his first game with quarterback Justin Fields. Chicago's top offseason addition will strive to make a bigger splash in Week 2 while facing a Tampa Bay secondary he knows well from his time in Carolina.
Aug 26, 2023
Makes another big play
Moore caught one of two targets for 40 yards in Saturday's preseason game against Buffalo.
ANALYSIS
Moore had his second long catch-and-run of the preseason, following a 62-yard TD on a screen pass a couple weeks prior. QB Justin Fields also has familiar teammates WR Darnell Mooney and TE Cole Kmet as receiving weapons, but there's no doubt about Moore being the top option heading into a tricky Week 1 matchup with a Green Bay defense that has the option of using CB Jaire Alexander (groin/foot) in shadow coverage.
Aug 12, 2023
Scores in Chicago preseason debut
Moore caught his only target for a 62-yard touchdown in Saturday's preseason game against Tennessee.
ANALYSIS
Moore was an after-the-catch monster both at Carolina in the NFL and at Maryland in college, so the skills he demonstrated on his 62-yard screen pass touchdown were nothing new. It certainly is something new for the Chicago offense, however, and provides a direct example of how the Bears offense could be significantly improved in 2023. Plays like that are a reminder of why Moore will likely be Chicago's lead target in 2023, and with considerable distance between himself and whichever second-leading pass catcher emerges.
Jun 16, 2023
Chemistry with Fields improving
Bears QB Justin Fields said Thursday that his chemistry with Moore has "come on quickly" in recent weeks, ESPN's Courtney Cronin reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore called the connection "a work in progress" at the start of OTAs in May, two months after the Bears traded for him as part of a deal that sent Carolina the No. 1 overall pick. It sounds like he and Fields have made progress this spring, with the QB mentioning Thursday that he's been impressed by Moore's ability to recognize different coverages. The 26-year-old wideout joins an offense that was last in the league for pass attempts and passing yardage last year, but there's hope for a big step forward with Fields entering his third pro season after the Bears added Moore and rookie OT Darnell Wright (10th overall pick) this spring.
Mar 10, 2023
Being traded to Bears
Moore is headed to the Bears in deal that is slated to send the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft to the Panthers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Per the report, along with Moore, the Bears are also in line to receive the No. 9 and 61 overall picks in the this year's draft, a 2024 first-rounder and a 2025 second-rounder. Moore, who caught 63 passes for 888 yards and seven TDs in 17 games for the Panthers in 2022, figures to serve as Chicago's top wideout this coming season, while Carolina is now in position to take a quarterback first overall next month.
Jan 8, 2023
Quiet in finale
Moore caught one of three targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 10-7 win over the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Moore closed with another underwhelming output due to Carolina's poor quarterback play, as Sam Darnold completed merely five passes for 43 yards while throwing a pair of picks. After three straight 1,000-yard campaigns, Moore finishes this season with just 888 yards in 17 games. While his 63 catches and 117 targets both marked lows since his rookie year as well, Moore at least compensated by scoring a personal-best seven times. Although it's unclear who will be throwing him passes next season, Moore figures to remain atop the Panthers' wide-receiver depth chart, giving him a solid floor despite dealing with Carolina's quarterback carousel the past couple campaigns.

Eclipses century mark in loss
Moore brought in six of 10 targets for 117 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers' 30-24 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Moore paced the Panthers in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the afternoon while recording a touchdown for his third straight game. The fourth-year pro's 24-yard scoring grab midway through the second quarter gave Carolina a 14-0 lead at the time and pushed his career-high tally to seven, while the 100-yard effort was his fourth of the campaign. Moore's late-season rapport with Sam Darnold is certainly encouraging, and he'll aim to put a strong cap to the season in Week 18 against the Saints on the road.
Dec 24, 2022
Finds end zone in win
Moore secured five of seven targets for 83 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers' 37-23 win over the Lions on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Moore led the Panthers in receptions, receiving yards and targets during the momentous win, making his biggest impact with a five-yard touchdown grab early in the third quarter that was immediately preceded by his 47-yard grab. Moore now has back-to-back five-grab, one-touchdown efforts and should once again play a pivotal role in a critical Week 17 road battle versus the Buccaneers on Sunday, Jan. 1.
Dec 18, 2022
Finds end zone
Moore caught five of six targets for 73 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-16 loss to the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Moore opened the scoring for the Panthers by hauling in a five-yard touchdown along the sideline to begin the second quarter. After finishing last Sunday without a single catch, Moore responded by leading Carolina in all major receiving categories. With a touchdown in two of his last three appearances to boot, Moore has rebounded nicely ahead of Week 16's matchup versus the Lions.
Dec 18, 2022
Ready to go for Week 15
Moore (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
After putting in two consecutive full practices to begin Week 15 prep, Moore took a questionable tag into Sunday when he downgraded to limited participation in Friday's session. Though interim head coach Steve Wilks characterized Moore as a game-time decision heading into the weekend, the receiver apparently demonstrated enough progress following Friday's practice to get the green light for Sunday. With no reports indicating that Moore will be on a limited snap count, fantasy managers can probably feel comfortable with deploying the 25-year-old as they normally would. In the Panthers' two games since Sam Darnold took over as the starting quarterback, Moore has finished with four receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown on nine targets, with all of those catches coming in the Week 12 win over Denver after he was blanked in last week's win over Seattle.
Dec 17, 2022
Expected to play Sunday
Moore (ankle) is expected to play Sunday against the Steelers, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Per Fowler, Moore had a productive week of practice and is thus trending toward suiting up versus Pittsburgh, though the wideout's status is nonetheless worth confirming. Fortunately for those inclined to use Moore in Week 15 fantasy lineups, the Panthers kick off at 1:00 ET on Sunday.
Dec 16, 2022
Questionable after limited practice
Moore (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh after downgrading to limited practice participation Friday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Reports following last week's win over Seattle suggested Moore suffered a minor knee sprain late in the game, but he was then listed on the practice reports with an ankle injury and managed full participation Wednesday and Thursday. The end-of-week downgrade suggests a real concern, with coach Steve Wilks acknowledging Friday that Moore is a game-time decision as the team prepares for a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, per Augusta Stone of the Panthers' official site. Wilks did say he hoped to know more Saturday -- perhaps a hint that reports on Moore's availability will come before Sunday morning.
Dec 14, 2022
No limitations in practice
Moore (ankle) was a full practice participant Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Moore reportedly suffered a minor knee sprain during Sunday's loss to Seattle, and he finished the game without a catch despite playing 96 percent of snaps on offense. Starting the week with a full practice suggests the injury might not bother him this Sunday against Pittsburgh, though coach Steve Wilks said the Panthers want to see how Moore feels Thursday, per Joe Person of The Athletic.
Dec 14, 2022
Dressed for practice
Moore (knee) is dressed for practice Wednesday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore seemingly got good news from an MRI on Monday and seems to only be dealing with a minor sprain. He played 96 percent of Carolina's offensive snaps in Sunday's win over Seattle, finishing without a catch on three targets. Moore's presence at practice Wednesday gives him a chance to play this Sunday against Pittsburgh.
Dec 12, 2022
Gets positive news
Moore (ankle) is considered day-to-day with a knee sprain, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore didn't catch any of his three targets during Sunday's loss to Seattle and underwent an MRI on Monday to look at a potential ankle injury. However, Schefter has reported that the wideout is now considered day-to-day with a knee issue and relayed that his source said the injury is "nothing significant." This appears to be great news, but Moore's participation during Wednesday's practice should provide further clarity on his availability for Week 15.
Dec 12, 2022
Needs MRI on ankle
Moore is undergoing an MRI on Monday to address an ankle injury sustained late during Sunday's win over the Seahawks, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore was held without a catch Week 14, a disappointing fantasy performance even before he was forced off the field near the end of the contest. Monday's test results will reveal the severity of Moore's injury, and provide more context about his chances of suiting up Week 15 against the Steelers. Terrace Marshall, Laviska Shenault and Shi Smith would have to step up for Carolina's passing game if Moore is forced to miss any time.
Dec 11, 2022
Blanked in victory
Moore didn't catch any of his three targets and rushed twice for just six yards in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
Moore was a non-factor as quarterback Sam Darnold managed just 120 passing yards. While the team tried incorporating Moore by giving him two of its 46 total rushing attempts, the wideout gained minimal yardage. Although Carolina's victory should help Moore reconcile with Sunday's dud individual outing, he'll no doubt be eager for a vastly improved performance in Week 15 versus Pittsburgh.
Nov 27, 2022
Tops 100 receiving yards
Moore recorded four receptions on six targets for 103 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-10 win over the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
Moore topped 100 receiving yards for the second time this season, with three of his catches going for at least 20 yards. His longest reception went for 52 yards on a drive early in the fourth quarter, which ultimately help set up a Carolina field goal. Moore also tallied his fourth touchdown of the season on a four-yard catch late in the opening quarter. While he's been held back by quarterback play for most of the season, Carolina is sticking with Sam Darnold under center, which may turn out to be good news for Moore.
Nov 20, 2022
Three catches in Week 11 loss
Moore secured three of five targets for 24 yards in the Panthers' 13-3 loss to the Ravens on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Moore's disappointing day extended an unfavorable streak of sub-30-yard games to three. The veteran spiked in Week 7 and Week 8 with a 13-221-2 line over that span, but his lackluster production since with both PJ Walker (ankle) and Baker Mayfield makes him difficult to trust in a tough matchup against the Broncos in Week 12.
Nov 10, 2022
Modest showing in Week 10 win
Moore secured four of six targets for 29 yards in the Panthers' 25-15 win over the Falcons on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Moore's catch and target totals were team highs, but after an encouraging start with a 20-yard grab on his first reception, the veteran was significantly limited on his other three touches. Steve Reed of The Associated Press reports Moore exited the game briefly late in the third quarter to be checked for a concussion, but he was quickly cleared for a return. Moore has been unable to follow up his stellar 6-152-1 line in Week 8 against Atlanta, as he's only tallied 53 receiving yards over the subsequent pair of contests.
Nov 6, 2022
Disappears in blowout loss
Moore recorded two receptions on six targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 42-21 loss to the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
After a couple of encouraging performances with PJ Walker under center, Moore was quiet in Carolina's blowout loss. He didn't manage a reception until the third quarter with Baker Mayfield under center and was overshadowed by Terrace Marshall in garbage time. Moore has proven his talent when given a reasonable opportunity this season, but the state of the Panthers' offense makes him difficult to trust on a weekly basis.
Oct 30, 2022
Gets long TD in heartbreaking loss
Moore caught six of 11 targets for 152 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 37-34 overtime loss to the Falcons.
ANALYSIS
Moore was a non-factor in the first half as the entire Carolina passing game struggled, but he stepped up in the second half and finished as the team leader in targets, catches and receiving yards. His 62-yard touchdown with 12 seconds left tied the game with the PAT pending, but the Panthers missed that kick and another in overtime to fall in heartbreaking fashion. Moore has posted a new season high for receiving yards in each of the past two games, and he'll look to build on his momentum in Week 9 against the Bengals.
Oct 23, 2022
Best game of season Sunday
Moore brought in seven of 10 targets of 69 yards and a touchdown and rushed once for minus-3 yards in the Panthers' 21-3 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Moore's reception, yardage and target totals were all team highs, and the veteran also recorded his second touchdown grab of the season on a 20-yard catch just before halftime. Moore also has two single-digit yardage tallies this season in the Panthers' wildly inconsistent offense, so while Sunday's returns were a welcome sight, it remains to be seen if they can be replicated in a Week 8 road matchup against the Falcons' vulnerable secondary.
Oct 16, 2022
Three catches in loss to Rams
Moore caught three of seven targets for only seven yards in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Rams.
ANALYSIS
No Carolina skill player other than Christian McCaffrey made much of an impact, as the team was beset by further quarterback issues when P.J. Walker (neck) had to be replaced by Jacob Eason. With the team now 1-5 and seemingly in full tank mode, Moore's best chance of turning around his season might need to come via a trade. If not, the fifth-year wideout will head toward a Week 7 clash with the Saints not sure whether Eason, Walker or Baker Mayfield (ankle) will be the one throwing him the ball.
Oct 9, 2022
Four grabs in Sunday's loss
Moore caught four of eight targets for 59 yards in Sunday's 37-15 loss to the 49ers.
ANALYSIS
The fifth-year receiver continues to show little chemistry with Baker Mayfield (ankle), as his modest receiving yardage actually represented his best performance of the season, and he's hauled in fewer than half his targets on the year. With Mayfield leaving Sunday's loss late, however, Moore might actually be looking forward to the possibility of having P.J. Walker under center in Week 6 against the Rams -- over Walker's only two NFL starts, Moore has caught 11 of 18 targets for 151 yards.
Oct 2, 2022
Modest numbers in loss
Moore caught six of 11 targets for 50 yards and gained 11 rushing yards on his only carry in Sunday's 26-16 loss to the Cardinals.
ANALYSIS
He led Carolina in targets on the day, but Moore wasn't able to do much with his looks and Christian McCaffrey wound up leading the team in catches and receiving yards. Moore's 50 yards were actually a season high for him, as Baker Mayfield's struggles so far have impacted the wideout's numbers drastically through the first month of the year. The fifth-year receiver will have a tough time breaking through in Week 5 against the stingy 49ers.
Sep 25, 2022
Only one catch
Moore caught just one of six targets for two yards in Sunday's 22-14 win over the Saints. He also rushed twice for 13 yards.
ANALYSIS
Moore led the Panthers in targets but failed to produce on a day quarterback Baker Mayfield again completed under half of his attempts. While Moore's status atop Carolina's receiving corps helps his stock, he's yet to surpass 50 scrimmage yards through three games. He and Mayfield will hope to finally get going in Week 4 versus the Cardinals.
Sep 18, 2022
Scores in narrow defeat
Moore caught three of six targets for 43 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 19-16 loss to the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Moore led the Panthers in targets and receiving yards while scoring his team's lone touchdown Sunday as well. To open his account for this season, Moore hauled in a 16-yard pass in the back of the end zone to begin the third quarter. While that contribution boosted his performance, Carolina's passing attack is yet to take off under Baker Mayfield, leaving Moore with identical catch, target and receiving yardage totals in Weeks 1 and 2.
Sep 11, 2022
Just three catches
Moore caught three of six targets for 47 yards in Sunday's 26-24 loss to the Browns. He also rushed once for seven yards.
ANALYSIS
Moore trailed teammates Robbie Anderson and Christian McCaffrey in receptions, with the former also garnering more targets than Moore. Although he managed a long gain of 26 yards, it was overall a modest performance from Carolina's No. 1 wideout. He'll strive to continue building chemistry with new quarterback Baker Mayfield ahead of Week 2's matchup versus the Giants.
Aug 26, 2022
Takes field for final exhibition
Moore played in the Panthers' final preseason game against Buffalo on Friday, but he did not record any stats.
ANALYSIS
Moore didn't have any involvement in the offense, but most importantly, he was cleared of a shoulder issue that had been lingering since Aug. 13. Barring a setback, Moore will be in line to serve as Baker Mayfield's top target in a Week 1 matchup against the Browns.
Aug 26, 2022
Overcomes shoulder injury, may play
Moore (shoulder) has been practicing and appears healthy ahead of Friday's preseason finale against the Bills, The Charlotte Observer reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore could get his first action of the preseason with the Panthers expected to play most starters for at least a quarter. Fellow starting wideout Robbie Anderson (hip/quad) isn't expected to play, and a bunch of the depth options are banged up as well. Moore's shoulder kept him out of practice for a few days but shouldn't be a problem in terms of his availability for Friday night or for Week 1 against Cleveland.
Aug 19, 2022
Not in line to play Friday
Moore (shoulder) isn't expected to play in Friday's preseason game at New England, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore was a healthy scratch in Carolina's exhibition opener this past Saturday in Washington, but a sore shoulder will keep him on the sideline this time around. He'll be among a number of key skill-position players sitting for the Panthers on Friday, including fellow wide receivers Robbie Anderson (quadriceps) and Terrace Marshall (hamstring), running back Christian McCaffrey, tight end Ian Thomas (ribs) and quarterbacks Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold. As a result, Rashard Higgins, Brandon Zylstra and Shi Smith, among others, will be the team's primary available wideouts.
Aug 13, 2022
Tending to sore shoulder
Coach Matt Rhule said after Saturday's preseason win at Washington that Moore didn't play due to shoulder soreness, Schuyler Callihan of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Neither of the Panthers' top two skill-position players (also, Christian McCaffrey) didn't suit up for their exhibition opener, but the reason for Moore's absence was health-related instead of a healthy scratch. Moore's next chance to mix into game action arrives Friday at New England, but whether or not he takes the field remains to be seen. In the end, he should make an appearance in the preseason to continue working with Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold, the two candidates to start at quarterback for Carolina in Week 1.
Aug 13, 2022
Healthy absence Saturday
Moore will not suit up for Saturday's preseason matchup against the Commanders.
ANALYSIS
The Panthers are also sitting star running back Christian McCaffrey as they manage the reps of their star offensive weapons. Expect Rashard Higgins to see a decent amount of first-team reps in the absence of Moore.
Aug 5, 2022
Liking competitive nature of camp
Moore said the Panthers have embraced the competitiveness of training camp, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore, as Carolina's top receiver, will surely be taking note of the team's quarterback competition between Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold. However, with tight races at other positions, Moore suggests the team's level of competitiveness has collectively increased. For his part, Moore will be in search of his first Pro-Bowl selection this season after posting at least 1,150 yards in each of the last three campaigns. Regardless of who claims the quarterback job, Moore should be a consistent producer and key contributor to the Panthers offense once again.
Mar 18, 2022
Inks three-year extension
Moore is signing a three-year extension with the Panthers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Previously scheduled to play out 2022 on a fifth-year option, Moore is now signed with the Panthers through 2025. He's finished between 1,157 and 1,193 receiving yards three straight seasons, with exactly four TDs each year, but his per-target efficiency took a nose-dive in 2021 (57.1 percent catch rate, 7.1 YPT) with the Panthers offense hitting a new low point. On the bright side, Moore's 163 targets last season were a career-high by 28, and he could break out in 2022 if similar volume is accompanied by better quarterback play. At the moment, however, it looks like the Panthers have missed out on all the top veteran QBs available, perhaps forcing them to settle for a mediocre veteran or a rookie in the upcoming NFL Draft. Regardless, Moore is the clear top option in the passing game, rivaled only (at times) by RB Christian McCaffrey.
Jan 9, 2022
Finishes season strong
Moore caught 7 of 10 targets for 87 yards in Sunday's 41-17 loss to the Buccaneers.
ANALYSIS
Moore showed off his leaping ability on a couple of his grabs, hurdling a defender early before making a jumping catch over the middle later on. The wideout led Carolina in receiving yards, posting his highest tally since Week 4, and Moore also turned in his best yardage output since Week 12. Despite spotty quarterback play for most of the campaign and losing his offensive coordinator midway through as well, Moore still topped 1,000 receiving yards for the third straight season. With 2022 being the last campaign under his rookie contract, Moore will look to cash in with a lucrative extension this offseason before likely returning to the Panthers as their top receiving option next term.
Jan 2, 2022
Quiet against Saints
Moore caught three of eight targets for 29 yards in Sunday's 18-10 loss to the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Moore led the Panthers in targets but couldn't get much going against a tough Saints defense. Most his yardage came on a 20-yard catch during the second half, but Moore followed that contribution with a drop shortly after. Having racked up at least seven targets in every game this season, Moore figures to remain a focal point in Week 18's finale versus the Buccaneers. Although that matchup surely doesn't favor the Panthers, game flow might help Moore improve on Sunday's lackluster output.
Dec 26, 2021
Plenty of targets in loss
Moore (hamstring) secured five of 11 targets for 55 yards in the Panthers' 32-6 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Considering the quarterback duo of Sam Darnold and Cam Newton completed less than 50 percent of their throws, Moore's numbers were actually serviceable. The fourth-year wideout tied Robby Anderson for the team lead in receptions and paced Carolina in targets on the afternoon as well. Moore's upside is likely to be capped to an extent the rest of the way with both Darnold and Newton seemingly destined to struggle, but he remains a serviceable option heading into the final two weeks of the fantasy season.
Dec 26, 2021
Available for Week 16
Moore (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Jonathan M. Alexander of The Charlotte Observer reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore was listed as questionable heading into the weekend after not practicing Wednesday and Thursday before returning to the field in a limited fashion Friday. Though he didn't log a full practice this week, the Panthers haven't indicated that Moore will be subject to a lighter workload as a result. He'll likely be sharing the field with both Cam Newton and Sam Darnold at various points during Sunday's game, as head coach Matt Rhule indicated that both quarterbacks will pick up snaps.
Dec 26, 2021
Expected to play in Week 16
Moore (hamstring) is expected to play Sunday against the Buccaneers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore was listed as questionable for the contest after returning to a limited practice Friday, but Rapoport indicates that the wideout is trending toward active status versus Tampa Bay. Fortunately for those considering Moore in Week 16 lineups, the Panthers kick off at 1:00 ET on Sunday.
Dec 24, 2021
Gets questionable tag for Week 16
Moore is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers after practicing on a limited basis Friday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore missed the Panthers' first two practices of the week while tending to the hamstring injury, but he returned to the field Friday, which gives him a shot to suit up this weekend. On Wednesday, head coach Matt Rhule told Joe Person of The Athletic that Moore will likely wind up being a game-time decision, so the Panthers may put him through a workout Sunday morning before getting a better sense of whether he'll play. Through Cam Newton's first four games as Carolina's starting quarterback, Moore's production hasn't suffered too much; he's turned in a 21-285-1 receiving line on 38 targets over that stretch.
Dec 23, 2021
No practice Thursday
Moore (hamstring) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore was able to play through a hamstring issue this past Sunday in Buffalo, handling a 90 percent share of offensive snaps and catching six of 11 targets for 48 yards. The Panthers now are having the wide receiver focus on rehab versus practice with the expectation he'll be a game-time decision Sunday against the Buccaneers. Fortunately, the team has a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, so Moore's fate will be known with plenty of time for fantasy managers to pivot to another option.
Dec 22, 2021
Trending toward game-time decision
Coach Matt Rhule said Moore (hamstring) likely will be a game-time call Sunday against the Buccaneers, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore's practice reps were capped all of last week before he handled 90 percent of the offensive snaps this past Sunday at Buffalo en route to six catches (on 11 targets) for 48 yards. He was held out of practice entirely Wednesday, after which Rhule touched on Moore's status. Getting back on the field Thursday and/or Friday may put Moore in a better position to be available this weekend, so his activity level will be something to monitor as the week goes on.
Dec 22, 2021
Still tending to hamstring issue
Moore didn't practice Wednesday due to a hamstring injury, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore was listed as limited on all three Week 15 injury reports due to the same health concern before handling a 90 percent share of the offensive snaps this past Sunday at Buffalo. The results in the box score were modest -- six catches (on 11 targets) for 48 yards -- and he's only scored one touchdown since Week 4. Now, with no practice to begin Week 16 prep, Moore's status will be one to watch to ensure he's available Sunday against the the Buccaneers.
Dec 19, 2021
Difficult conditions continue
Moore caught six passes for 48 yards on 11 targets against Buffalo on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Moore has proven his own abilities beyond any doubt at this point, so his ongoing struggles are clearly attributable to the broader dysfunction of the Panthers organization, especially on offense. Cam Newton has struggled profoundly as a passer, including in this game (18 of 38 for 156 yards, one touchdown and one interception), yet Newton is probably the team's best passer at quarterback in the meantime. While talent like Moore's can't be fully counted out, the waters might remain treacherous until the Panthers rebuild this offense in the offseason. Carolina gets a tough matchup with the Buccaneers in Week 16.
Dec 19, 2021
Good to go Sunday
Moore (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Bills, Jonathan M. Alexander of The Charlotte Observer reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore was a limited practice participant throughout the week before being labeled questionable for Sunday's contest, though he never truly appeared in danger of sitting out. The 24-year-old has come on strong over the past three games with 15 receptions for 237 yards and a touchdown as he continues to lead Carolina's receiving corps.
Dec 19, 2021
Expected to play versus Buffalo
Moore (hamstring) is expected to play Sunday against the Bills, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The Panthers listed Moore as questionable for the contest after their top wideout was limited in practice this past week. Fortunately for those inclined to use him in Week 15 fantasy lineups, Carolina and Buffalo kick off at 1:00 ET on Sunday.
Dec 17, 2021
Questionable for Sunday
Moore (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Buffalo, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore was a limited practice participant Wednesday through Friday after suffering a minor hamstring injury late in the fourth quarter of last week's loss to the Falcons. He appears on track to play this Sunday, but fantasy managers will want to make sure before finalizing Week 15 lineups. The Panthers and Bills are scheduled for a 1:00 ET kickoff, meaning inactive lists will be released around 11:30 a.m.
Dec 16, 2021
Another limited practice
Moore (hamstring) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore picked up a hamstring issue near the end of this past Sunday's loss to the Falcons. Coach Arthur Smith considered Moore day-to-day as of Monday, and the wide receiver has followed up that comment with back-to-back capped sessions. Even if he enters the weekend with a designation, Moore doesn't seem to be in much danger of missing the Panthers' Week 15 game at Buffalo.
Dec 15, 2021
Limited with hammy
Moore (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore was held out toward the end of Sunday's 29-21 loss to the Falcons, with coach Matt Rhule calling the wideout day-to-day on Monday. A limited practice to start Week 15 gives Moore a decent shot to suit up this Sunday in Buffalo, though he'll have a tough matchup and still has to contend with some of the worst QB play in the league.
Dec 13, 2021
Begins week day-to-day
Panthers head coach Matt Rhule said Monday that Moore (hamstring) is day-to-day after pulling his hamstring in Sunday's loss to the Falcons, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore played 89 percent of the Panthers' offensive snaps in the contest, catching six of 10 targets for 84 yards. Before departing late Sunday, Moore attempted to talk his way into returning to the contest, so he would seem to have a fair shot at being cleared to play Week 15 in Buffalo so long as he can practice in some capacity leading up to the contest. That said, Moore could face some difficulty establishing a rhythm with his quarterback even if healthy, as Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site relays that Cam Newton and P.J. Walker are expected to split reps under center.
Dec 12, 2021
Strong numbers despite knee issue
Moore brought in six of 10 targets for 84 yards in the Panthers' 29-21 loss to the Falcons on Sunday. He also missed some time late in the contest with a knee injury but wanted to come back into the game, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
It remains to be seen how serious the knee issue might be, but the health issue aside, the star wideout had a productive game on an afternoon where the Panthers passing attack wasn't exactly at its sharpest. Moore's reception total was his best since Week 7, while his yardage tally qualified as his second highest since all the way back in Week 4. With a 10-187 line over the past two contests, Moore will head into a difficult Week 15 road matchup against the Bills with some momentum if he's able to suit up.
Nov 28, 2021
Big receiving day in loss
Moore brought in four of 10 targets for 103 yards in the Panthers' 33-10 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The highlight of Moore's day -- and that of the Panthers as a while for that matter -- came on the wideout's 64-yard grab in the first quarter. Moore would go on to lead the team in receptions and receiving yardage on the night, but considering Carolina netted all of 134 passing yards due to poor performance from both Cam Newton and P.J. Walker, the talented receiver's numbers were a minor miracle from a fantasy perspective. Moore's chances of replicating strong numbers in a Week 13 divisional home matchup versus the Falcons will naturally be heavily reliant on the play under center.
Nov 21, 2021
Touchdown in Sunday's loss
Moore caught five of seven targets for 50 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-21 loss to Washington.
ANALYSIS
Moore started the scoring with a 10-yard touchdown during the first quarter, marking his first end-zone visit since Week 4. After back-to-back games with under 35 receiving yards, Moore fared slightly better Sunday, but he still narrowly trailed tailback Christian McCaffrey in all major receiving categories. Although his production has declined since a hot start to the season, Moore's touchdown Sunday, established rapport with new-yet-familiar starting quarterback Cam Newton, and upcoming matchup versus the Dolphins offers a few reasons for optimism in Week 12.
Nov 14, 2021
Another quiet outing
Moore caught four of seven targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 34-10 win over the Cardinals.
ANALYSIS
Moore had another quiet outing, as he's now gone consecutive games with under five catches and 35 yards. Although Carolina switching to quarterbacks P.J. Walker and Cam Newton on Sunday surely impacted the offense, Moore still trailed tailbacks Christian McCaffrey and Ameer Abdullah, as well as fellow wideout Robby Anderson, in yardage. On the bright side, only McCaffrey garnered more looks. Whether it's Walker, Newton or both throwing passes next week versus Washington, Moore will strive to make a much bigger impact than he's managed of late.
Nov 7, 2021
Held in check
Moore caught three of seven targets for 32 yards and rushed twice for 14 yards in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Patriots.
ANALYSIS
Moore led Carolina in targets, but saw tailbacks Christian McCaffrey and Chuba Hubbard top him in receiving yardage on a day when quarterback Sam Darnold again struggled while throwing three interceptions. Darnold also led Moore into a big hit late, adding to Carolina's offensive frustrations. Although McCaffrey's return gives Moore notable competition for looks, those two are easily coordinator Joe Brady's best playmakers, which should keep Moore's value stable heading into Week 10 versus the Cardinals.

Makes four grabs
Moore caught four of eight targets for 59 yards in Sunday's 19-13 win over the Falcons.
ANALYSIS
Moore led Carolina in all major receiving categories, but it was still a below-average performance by his standards. On a coaching challenge that was upheld, he narrowly missed out on an 11-yard touchdown during the first quarter and has now gone four straight outings without a score. With quarterback Sam Darnold suffering a concussion Sunday, it remains to be seen who will be throwing to Moore in Week 9 versus the Patriots -- when superstar tailback Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) could re-enter the fold as well -- but the wideout remains a high-quality option at his position.

Held back by offense
Moore recorded six receptions on 10 targets for 73 yards in Sunday's 25-3 loss to the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Moore accounted for 73 of the Panthers' 144 yards through the air Sunday, but he couldn't post a better line based on the poor play of Sam Darnold. He recorded receptions of 21, 19 and 12 yards to pick up most of his yardage and has now logged a catch of at least 20 yards in six of seven contests. Moore has also had consistent volume and racked up double-digit targets in five games this season while falling below 70 yards in a matchup only once.

Leads team in receiving
Moore had five receptions (13 targets) for 73 yards Sunday but also lost a fumble in a 34-28 overtime loss to Minnesota.
ANALYSIS
Moore ended up leading the Panthers in overall receiving production despite Sam Darnold failing to connect with his receiver on eight occasions. The 24-year-old has hit a bit of a rough patch over the last two weeks after hitting the ground running over his first four games this season. On the bright side, Darnold and Moore will have a prime opportunity to get right against a Giants defense that ranks in the bottom third in nearly every defensive category this year.

Keeps rolling against Cowboys
Moore recorded eight receptions on 12 targets for 113 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's Week 4 loss to the Cowboys.
ANALYSIS
Moore drew double-digit targets for the third consecutive game and has surpassed 100 receiving yards in each of his last two contests. Against the Cowboys, he managed big gains of 39 and 29 yards, both of which came primarily after the catch. His touchdowns did come late in the game and with the Panthers down multiple scores. Regardless of when the production has come, it's been a strong start to the season for Moore as he has 398 receiving yards and three touchdowns through four contests.

Big game versus Texans
Moore caught eight of 12 targets for 126 yards in Thursday night's 24-9 win over the Texans.
ANALYSIS
Moore was targeted frequently during the first half, helping the Panthers gain first downs with a variety of catches between the numbers. In fact, the wideout hit 100 yards on his six grabs by halftime. Although he understandably couldn't maintain that pace in the second half -- and was briefly seen being examined by trainers on the sideline before re-entering the game -- Moore overall helped Carolina's offense compensate for Christian McCaffrey's (hamstring) second-quarter exit. Quietly coming off consecutive seasons with 1,200 scrimmage yards, Moore has put up at least 75 yards in each of his three games to begin the current campaign, continuing his stock's ascent among receivers league-wide.

Finds end zone against Saints
Moore caught eight of 11 targets for 79 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-7 win over the Saints.
ANALYSIS
For the second straight game, Moore was Sam Darnold's favorite option among Carolina's wideouts, and this time the duo connected on a 20-yard TD strike in the second quarter. Moore will look to keep his hot start going Thursday against a Texans defense that got lit up by DJ Chark and Marvin Jones in their opener.

Season-low in receiving
Moore caught four of his six targets for 49 receiving yards during Sunday's 31-21 win against the Cardinals.
ANALYSIS
The Maryland product enjoyed a lucrative Week 2 outing against Tampa Bay, racking up eight catches for 120 yards on his 13 targets. In Moore's other three appearances of 2020, however, the 23-year-old wideout has accumulated 3.3 catches and 56 receiving yards per contest -- certainly not insubstantial production in the fantasy football realm, but averages that would land him well short from his 87-catch, 1,175-yard campaign of 2019. Moore's next matchup offers a "get right" opportunity, as he faces a banged-up Falcons defense that entered Week 4 allowing the second-highest total of WR receiving yards (736).

Makes two catches
Moore caught two of four targets for 65 yards during Sunday's 21-16 win over the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Moore struggled to break loose against a talented Chargers defense, although he did post a pair of big gains for all of his production on the day. The switch to Teddy Bridgewater under center has produced mixed results for Moore, who piled up 120 yards on eight catches a week ago and is still on pace for over 1,200 receiving yards through three games. He will look to get back on track next Sunday in what should be a more favorable matchup against the Cardinals.

Explodes in Week 2 loss
Moore secured eight of 13 targets for 120 yards in the Panthers' 31-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
A week after an underwhelming season-opening effort that saw him post a 4-54 line, Moore once again saw plenty of attention heaped on him by new quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. To the delight of fantasy managers, the results were markedly different, with Moore posting game-high totals in receiving yardage and targets while tying for second in receptions. Through two contests, Moore has now logged a robust 22 targets, certainly an encouraging sign for the trust and chemistry he's quickly built with Bridgewater. Moore will look to build on Sunday's strong effort in a Week 3 inter-conference road battle versus the Chargers.

Held quiet in Week 1
Moore saw nine targets but managed only four receptions for 54 yards in Week 1 against the Raiders.
ANALYSIS
Moore led the team with nine targets, but both Robby Anderson and Curtis Samuel saw only one fewer opportunity. He also wasn't particularly efficient when the ball came his way, averaging just six yards per target. Moore is likely still gaining rapport with new quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and will be the focus of opposing defenses gameplan. That may force him to make some adjustments early on this season, but he'll look to get on track in a Week 2 matchup against the Buccaneers.

Surrounded by new faces
Moore is one of the few key holdovers from 2019 for a Panthers team that underwent huge changes in the offseason, ESPN.com's David Newton reports.
ANALYSIS
The new faces include coach Matt Rhule, OC Joe Brady, QB Teddy Bridgewater and WR Robby Anderson, while the crucial departures on offense were TE Greg Olsen, WR Jarius Wright and QBs Kyle Allen and Cam Newton. The switch from Allen to Bridgewater could prove especially fruitful for Moore, who largely made a living on short and intermediate throws during a breakout 2019 campaign. The 23-year-old wideout missed the majority of Week 16 and all of Week 17 due to a concussion, but he previously had been on pace for 98 catches and 1,342 receiving yards. With plenty of time to recover this offseason, Moore should be ready to go whenever the Panthers are able to practice.

Practices fully in return to team
Moore (ankle) was a full practice participant Thursday, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore departed Wednesday's session early to attend the birth of his child but was back in action one day later, per Max Henson of the Panthers' official site. Following his return to the fray, Moore will turn his focus to Sunday's matchup with the Redskins, who have allowed 8.9 yards per target and 14 total touchdowns to wide receivers in 11 games this season.

Nursing ankle issue
Moore was limited in Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore participated in Wednesday's practice in a limited capacity before making an early exit due to personal reasons, according to Joe Person of The Athletic. The second-year pro will have two more opportunities this week to up his level of activity. Moore has developed a strong rapport with Kyle Allen, having surpassed 100 receiving yards in three of his last four contests, and he'll look to continue his dominant streak against Washington on Sunday.

Paces pass catchers in win
Moore hauled in seven of 10 targets for 73 yards and rushed once for 13 yards in the Panthers' 37-26 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday. He exited the game due to a rib injury at one point but eventually returned, Max Henson of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore turned in a rock-solid performance in the London clash, pacing the Panthers in receptions, receiving yards and targets in the process. The second-year wideout has encouragingly logged 18 targets over the last two games, which he's parlayed into 13 receptions and 164 yards. Moore thus heads into the bye week with plenty of momentum and a burgeoning rapport with quarterback Kyle Allen, both which he'll look to continue cultivating against the 49ers in Week 8.
