Just five days following a two-touchdown effort against the Steelers, Moore was virtually a non-factor in Friday's upset victory. Moore has topped out at two catches and 18 receiving yards in three of his last four games, making his 5-64-2 line versus Pittsburgh in Week 12 an outlier within that stretch. Caleb Williams' inconsistencies certainly don't help the veteran receiver's cause, but he figures to at least draw plenty of targets in a critical Week 14 road clash against the Packers on Sunday, Dec. 7.

In what is a rare instance this season, Moore outperformed fellow wideout Rome Odunze on the afternoon, leading the Bears in receptions and receiving yards while checking in second to his teammate in targets. Moore also was the only one of the two to get into the end zone, recording touchdowns of five and 25 yards in the first and third quarter, respectively. Moore's target rate is just 17.8 percent this year -- his first time ever below 20 percent -- but recent comments from Bears coach Ben Johnson suggest the team is pleased with how Moore has adapted to a role with modest target volume. It could be a different story later this season if a brutal second-half schedule gets the best of the 6-3 Bears.

Moore missed Wednesday's practice due to the shoulder injury that forced him to briefly exit last week's win over the Giants, though he retook the field early in the third quarter. It's encouraging to see Moore back on the practice field and handling at least limited reps, but if he isn't able to upgrade to a full session Friday, he'll risk carrying an injury designation into Sunday's road contest against the Vikings. Rome Odunze (ankle) also upgraded to a limited practice Thursday after having been sidelined Wednesday.

Moore briefly exited this past Sunday's win against the Giants due to a shoulder issue but was able to return early in the third quarter. He proceeded to finish with no catches on four targets, his first time getting blanked in the box score since the Panthers made him a first-round pick in the 2018 Draft. Moore will have two more chances to practice this week before the Bears potentially make a ruling on his status for Week 11 action on Friday's injury report.

Moore and Rome Odunze traded places after Moore led all Bears wide receivers in receiving yards while Odunze went without a catch in the Week 9 win over the Bengals. Prior to Sunday's goose egg, Moore had at least three catches in every game this season. Chicago's wide receiver room has been hit-or-miss with the Bears leaning more on the ground game lately, but Moore will try to get back on track in Week 11 against the Vikings, just as Odunze did against the Giants.

Moore went 1-for-1 passing for two yards and one touchdown, added four receptions for 72 yards on six targets, and rushed once for 17 yards and one touchdown in the Bears' 47-42 win over the Bengals on Sunday.

Moore has 145 receiving yards over his last two contests (72 this game; 73 last week) after failing to reach 60 yards in any of his previous five. He's working his way back into weekly WR3 territory with multi-phase involvement boosting his opportunities.

Moore (hip/groin) was a full practice participant Friday and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Bengals.

Chicago's top four WRs were all listed on the injury report this week, but only No. 4 receiver Luther Burden (out - concussion) hasn't been cleared to play. Moore thus figures to handle his usual role, though perhaps with a bit more upside for carries and screens in the absence of RB D'Andre Swift (out - groin).

Assuming Moore is able to maintain limited participation or upgrade to full activity Friday, he should be in line to play this Sunday in Cincinnati.

Moore wasn't assigned an injury designation Week 8 against Baltimore despite logging a DNP/LP/FP practice slate, and the Bears could have a similar plan in mind ahead of Sunday's road contest against the Bengals. Moore corralled four of seven targets for a season-high 73 receiving yards versus the Ravens in Week 8, and if he manages to suit up versus Cincinnati while other notable skill-position players remain sidelined, an opportunity to build upon that momentum may present itself.

The 73 yards were a season high for Moore, although most of that production came late in the fourth quarter on a desperation heave by Caleb Williams that the 28-year-old wideout made a spectacular one-handed grab on as he raced down the sideline. Moore has taken a back seat to Rome Odunze in the Bears' passing game this season, leaving him with a 26-331-1 line on 38 targets through seven games, but he's maintained a steady PPR floor by catching at least three passes in every contest. Moore will look for a ceiling game in Week 9 against the Bengals.

Also listed with a hip/groin injury last week, Moore ended up handling an 87 percent snap share and 93 percent route share in a win over the Saints, catching three of five targets for 43 yards in the process. His fantasy production has been hugely disappointing this year, but there's been no hint of it costing Moore snaps/routes.

Moore is kicking off this week in a similar fashion to last week, but it remains to be seen if he'll be able to get back to all activity by week's end.

Moore went from still being in a DC-area hospital Tuesday morning following the Bears' Week 6 win over the Commanders to pacing Chicago in receiving yards and sharing the team lead in receptions Sunday. Moore didn't look any worse for wear after suffering a groin injury versus Washington, and he's now cleared 40 receiving yards in consecutive games for the second time this season. The Bears' passing attack remains a relatively low-volume one most weeks, but Moore will remain an important target for Caleb Williams in a Week 8 road matchup against the Ravens next Sunday afternoon.

In the end, Friday's practice report will unveil Moore's odds to suit up Sunday against the Saints.

Moore finished in a tie with fellow starter Rome Odunze with both players recording five targets apiece in Monday's win. The former had the superior fantasy score when factoring in his work as a rusher. Moore has been a bit of a letdown in fantasy with his 19-215-1 receiving line across five starts. The 28-year-old is still providing enough of a floor for his managers to warrant starting against the Saints on Sunday.

Moore took a back seat to Rome Odunze (4-69-1) yet again as a changing of the guard appears to have taken place in Chicago's receiver room. The 28-year-old Moore has taken on more of a complementary role alongside the Bears' upstart receivers, resulting in fantasy totals below what managers had bargained for heading into drafts. Moore still possesses a consistent role in new head coach Ben Johnson's offense, garnering five to six targets on a weekly basis. With tempered expectations, Moore can still provide flex value out of Chicago's upcoming bye week when play resumes against the Commanders in Week 6.

Moore recorded four receptions on five targets for 21 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-14 win over the Cowboys. He added three rushes for seven yards.

Moore continued to be overshadowed by Rome Odunze, but he also lost out to Luther Burden in the blowout win. Moore still finished second on the team in targets, but his longest gain went for only 12 yards as he was targeted exclusively in short areas of the field. He saved his day with a four-yard touchdown catch late in the fourth quarter, his first trip to the end zone this season. Nevertheless, Moore has yet to see more than six targets in a game and has topped 50 receiving yards only once in three contests.

Moore secured five of six targets for 46 yards in the Bears' 52-21 loss to the Lions on Sunday.

Moore was a distant second in receiving yards and targets to Rome Odunze while finishing as the runner-up in receptions as well. As such, Moore took a clear back seat to Odunze in the air attack for at least this week, but the pecking order Sunday could indeed be a harbinger of what's to come as the season unfolds. Moore does have an 8-114-0 receiving line on 11 targets through two games heading into a Week 3 home matchup against the Cowboys next Sunday afternoon.

Moore remained on the turf for multiple minutes after being hit by two Vikings defenders while trying to haul in a Caleb Williams pass in the fourth quarter of Monday's loss. He remained in the game, though, and finished with three catches (on five targets) for 68 yards, three carries for eight yards and a lost fumble while playing 84 percent (56 of 67) of the offensive snaps. Wednesday's injury report clarifies the health concerns that Moore is dealing with, but his lack of limitations indicate he'll gut through them in Sunday's contest at Detroit.

Moore brought in his lone target for 14 receiving yards in Friday's 29-27 preseason win over the Chiefs.

Moore made his second appearance with the starting offense this preseason, making a nice grab after securing two balls in last week's exhibition. Fantasy managers should expect more production from the talented wideout once the regular season kicks off, especially in an overhauled offense led by head coach Ben Johnson. A clean bill of health should result in the fifth 1,000-yard receiving season of Moore's career after falling just short of that mark last year in QB Caleb Williams' rookie season.

Moore corralled both of his targets for 16 yards in Sunday's preseason win over the Bills.

Moore made his 2025 preseason debut with the rest of the first-team offense Sunday. QB Caleb Williams was in sync with his No. 1 target, connecting on a pair of tight sideline throws before exiting after two offensive drives. Moore fell 34 yards short of a 1,000-yard receiving season in 2024, something new HC Ben Johnson will look to amend for his top wideout.

Bears head coach Ben Johnson said Wednesday that the Bears' starters, including Moore, will suit up for Sunday's preseason game against Buffalo, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Moore and the majority of starters sat out Chicago's preseason opener against Miami last weekend, presumably while still picking up Johnson's playbook, but the first-team offense will make its exhibition debut versus the Bills on Sunday. Johnson has regularly deployed Moore out of the backfield throughout training camp, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports, with offensive coordinator Declan Doyle saying the team is "trying to get him touches in every way we can." Moore remains positioned as the No. 1 wideout for second-year quarterback Caleb Williams, but given the tough target competition of Chicago's crowded skill-position groups, an uptick in designed plays out of the backfield would be a welcome development. Last season, Moore logged a career-high 14 carries for 75 yards, though he didn't score on the ground.

Moore has been getting reps out of the backfield at Bears training camp, Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

"He's a physical, run-after-catch, just-get-me-the-ball type of guy," coach Ben Johnson said Tuesday. "There's a number of things that we're looking to do and explore how we get him the ball and get him in space." Moore is no stranger to seeing snaps out of the backfield, as he registered a career-high 14 carries last season, turning them into 75 scoreless yards. The Panthers also used Moore in a similar role during his 2018 rookie season, handing him the ball 13 times for 172 yards. Chicago has a plethora of weapons at Caleb Williams' disposal, and Moore is consistently being taken as a WR2 in fantasy drafts this summer.

Entering his second season with Caleb Williams under center, the departure of Keenan Allen in free agency leaves Moore as the clear leader among the Bears' pass-catching corps, and he remains entrenched as the team's No. 1 wideout. Chicago's O-line upgrades and Johnson's track record in Detroit both point to a much improved offense for 2025, but Moore faces considerable target competition from last year's No. 9 overall pick Rome Odunze, rookie second-rounder Luther Burden (undisclosed) and tight end Colston Loveland (sho

Moore secured nine of 10 targets for 86 yards and a touchdown and rushed once for five yards in the Bears' 24-22 win over the Packers on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.

Moore led the Bears in receptions, receiving yards and targets, a customary development for the talented veteran. He did almost all the work on his 32-yard touchdown catch early in the fourth quarter, taking a screen and weaving his way down the right side of the field to pay dirt. Moore worked well with rookie first overall pick Caleb Williams all season, posting posting a career-high 98 receptions for 966 yards and six touchdowns while playing all 17 regular-season games for the fourth time in as many seasons since the schedule expanded in 2021.

Moore brought in six of eight targets for 54 yards and rushed twice for eight yards in the Bears' 6-3 loss to the Seahawks on Thursday night.

Moore set the pace for the Bears in receptions and receiving yards while sharing the team lead in targets with Keenan Allen. It was another typically busy four quarters for the veteran wideout, who was also the intended target on Caleb Williams' game-ending fourth-down downfield heave. Moore extended his streak of games with at least six catches to seven games and has seen at least seven targets in seven consecutive contests heading into a Week 18 road battle against the Packers on Sunday, Jan. 5.

Moore put together a signature PPR-friendly line, finishing second in receptions, receiving yards and targets behind Keenan Allen and his season-best performance. Moore has at least seven catches in five of the last six games and six grabs in the other contest in that sample, affording him a coveted safe floor in PPR formats heading into a Week 17 home matchup against the Seahawks on Thursday night where he should also garner a fair share of Caleb Williams' attention.

That honor went to rookie wideout Rome Odunze, who cashed in both of Caleb Williams' late touchdown strikes in the lopsided loss. Moore's production paled in comparison to his previous two contests in which he racked up 15 receptions for 203 yards and two scores. The durable receiver should remain a focal point of Chicago's passing attack when the team visits Minnesota next Monday.

Schefter's report seems to confirm Moore's own words Friday, when he suggested he would be able to take the field against the 49ers. The veteran receiver last missed a regular-season contest in 2020, so he's proven to be able to push through the wears and tears of the NFL season. If Moore is indeed able to play Sunday, he'll try to build upon a pair of consecutive big performances, as he totaled 15 catches for 203 yards and two touchdowns over the past two weeks.

"I play through everything," Moore said Friday, suggesting he expects to play despite managing just one limited practice at the end of the week. He's missed two games in seven NFL seasons, with a concussion holding him out for the 2019 finale and then COVID keeping him out Week 14 of 2020. Moore has played through his fair share of minor injuries, but he's also had better luck than most at simply avoiding them in the first place. In any case, it sounds like his odds are better than 50/50 to avoid the inactive list ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.

Moore (quadriceps) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.

Moore logged a limited practice session Friday, but it appears his quad injury has a legitimate chance of impacting his availability for Week 14. The standout receiver's status will be made official no later than 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. D'Andre Swift (quadriceps) is also listed as questionable for Sunday's road matchup, though on a bright note for Chicago, Keenan Allen does not carry an injury designation after returning to practice as a full participant Thursday.

While Keenan Allen (ankle) returned to practice Thursday as a full participant after sitting out Wednesday, Moore remained a spectator for the second straight day. In order to avoid taking a designation into Sunday's game at San Francisco, Moore will likely need to practice in at least a limited fashion Friday. If Moore can't shake off the quad injury ahead of Sunday's contest, Allen and fellow wideouts Rome Odunze and tight end Cole Kmet would represent the top pass-catching options for quarterback Caleb Williams.

Moore is fresh off an 8-97-1 (16 targets) performance logged during Chicago's 23-20 loss to the Lions on Thanksgiving, and in the process it appears that he picked up a quad injury. Keenan Allen (ankle) is also sidelined at practice Wednesday, and it's possible the Bears are simply taking a cautious approach to the health of their top two wideouts, but Moore's status now needs to be carefully monitored ahead of Sunday's road matchup against the 49ers. Rookie first-rounder Rome Odunze would step into an increased role on offense if either Moore or Allen are forced to miss any time.

Moore caught eight passes for 97 yards and one touchdown on 16 targets against Detroit on Thursday.

There were some missed opportunities and overall it wasn't an efficient day for Moore on a per-target basis, but the target volume and resulting production still made it a good day for Moore's fantasy investors. That the Bears managed to lose in such memorable and embarrassing fashion might provoke further shakeups in the Chicago coaching staff, but the last two weeks have otherwise been encouraging for Moore. The Bears face San Francisco on the road in Week 14.

Moore recorded seven receptions on seven targets for 106 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-27 overtime loss to the Vikings.

Moore showed the ability to connect with Caleb Williams in all areas of the field in the loss, as he had long gains of 37 and 27 yards, the latter of which set up a game-tying field goal to send the game to overtime. He also worked effectively in the short areas of the field, including on a 10-yard touchdown reception early in the fourth quarter -- his first trip to the end zone since Week 5. Moore's slight drop in production is likely an outlier given he's been heavily involved each week to date, and he'll have a chance for a bounce-back effort against a vulnerable Panthers secondary at home in Week 5.

Moore caught eight of 10 targets for 78 yards in Sunday's 21-16 loss to the Colts.

The veteran wideout actually finished third on the Bears in both receiving yards and targets behind Rome Odunze and Cole Kmet, as Caleb Williams erupted for 363 passing yards. More than half of Moore's production came on a hail mary at the end of the first half, when he caught a tipped ball at the one-yard line but couldn't get into the end zone. Moore has consistently been Williams' first read and has 28 targets through three games, and that volume could start turning into more production if the rookie quarterback is beginning to shake off his jitters. Moore will look to build on this performance in Week 4 against the Rams.

Moore finished with six receptions (10 targets) for 53 yards in Sunday's 19-13 loss to Houston.

Moore continues to be rookie quarterback Caleb Williams' favorite target through two games this season. The volume has helped offset the star wideout's lack of touchdowns as the Bears continue to search for a passing score through eight quarters of action. Moore's production should rise alongside improved play from his rookie signal-caller as Chicago prepares to travel to Indianapolis in Week 3.

Moore recorded five receptions on eight targets for 36 tards in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Titans.

Moore didn't have a particularly strong stat line, but he showed the best rapport with Caleb Williams of the Bears' pass catchers. Moore has spent the offseason developing chemistry with Williams, whose presence under center promises to notably upgrade Chicago's passing game, even accounting for any time needed to adapt to the speed of the NFL. Even if the additions of Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze threaten Moore's ability to replicate his 28.8 percent target share from last season, an improved offense as a whole could represent a net positive to Moore's fantasy prospects, at least in terms of consistency.

The veteran caught 96 passes for 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns on 130 targets. Although the target total was the fourth-highest of his career, he bested his career high in receiving yards by 171 yards. His eight scores was one more than his previous career mark that he set in 2022. With the expectation that Moore will have at least the same level of quarterback play, and possibly an elevated level, the receiver will likely be one of the top receivers selected in 2024 fantasy drafts.

Moore (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Packers.

Moore hurt his ankle early in Chicago's Week 16 game and had just 18 yards in a 27-16 win over Arizona, but he then came back last week with 9-159-1 receiving line in a blowout of the Falcons and now will play in the season finale. Moore even upgraded to full practice participation Friday after sitting out the previous two days.

Moore missed part of the the Week 16 win over the Cardinals after a defender rolled up on his ankle, but he returned to that game and looked no worse for wear in Week 17 against the Falcons, posting 159 yards and a touchdown. The star receiver's likely to upgrade to full participation Thursday or Friday and could avoid the injury report altogether as the Bears try to play spoiler against the NFC North rival Packers on Sunday.

Moore brought in nine of 13 targets for 159 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 37-17 win over the Falcons on Sunday.

Moore easily paced the Bears in receptions, receiving yards and targets, authoring his first 100-yard game since Week 12 and only his second overall since Week 5. He then visited the medical tent, and after he emerged he had a large wrap on the ankle in question and walked with a visible limp. Officially, Moore is questionable to return.

Moore caught four of eight targets for 52 yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Browns.

Tight end Cole Kmet wound up pacing the Bears in receptions, but Moore was the team leader in targets and yards. It was still his worst output since Week 9, but a minor ankle injury that limited him during practice leading up to Sunday's contest could help explain the modest numbers. Moore has posted a 28-330-2 line on 40 targets in four games since Justin Fields returned to the lineup, making him a strong fantasy option in Week 16 against the Cardinals.

The 26-year-old tweaked his ankle last week against Detroit but is ready to play Week 15 after being labeled questionable. Moore has been especially productive over the past three games with 24 receptions for 278 yards and two touchdowns in addition to three carries for 20 yards and another score.

His status will be confirmed about 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

In the midst of the Bears' 28-13 win against the Lions this past Sunday, Moore twisted his ankle but played through the pain en route to six catches (on 10 targets) for 68 yards and one touchdown and three carries for 20 yards and another score. The injury kept him out of drills Wednesday, but he proceeded to log a limited session Thursday before returning to all activity to wrap up Week 15 prep. Moore got involved in the offense immediately, as he capped the team's opening drive with a 16-yard rushing touchdown. However, he was held off the stat sheet from there and didn't have a reception or target at halftime. That changed in the final two quarters, as he still managed to lead the team in targets, receptions and yards. Moore's day as a receiver was highlighted by a 38-yard touchdown catch late in the third quarter when he beat his defender deep for what ultimately became the game-winning touchdown. He now has a touchdown in two of his last three games and has 278 receiving yards in that same span.

The veteran wideout was the epitome of a No. 1 receiver in the low-scoring win, accounting for well over half of Justin Fields' 217 passing yards while leading the Bears in receptions and targets by a wide margin as well. Moore also saved his best for last, recording 16- and 36-yard grabs on what would turn out to be Chicago's game-winning drive. Moore's catch total was a season high, and his yardage tally was his first over the century mark since Week 5. Following the Week 13 bye, Moore gets a crack at a Lions defense he posted a 7-96-1 line against during the first meeting between the division rivals.

Moore caught seven of nine targets for 96 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-26 loss to the Lions.

Moore's production picked back up with Justin Fields (thumb) throwing him the ball for the first time since Week 6. After failing to get into the end zone in any of Tyson Bagent's four starts, Moore scored his sixth touchdown in Fields' seven starts. The score came on a 39-yard deep deep ball in the third quarter. Moore came four yards short of his fourth 100-yard receiving performance in Fields' last five full games, so Chicago's No. 1 receiver will have plenty of Week 12 fantasy appeal on Monday Night Football against Minnesota's shaky secondary.

Moore secured five of nine targets for 58 yards and rushed once for one yard in the Bears' 16-13 win over the Panthers on Thursday night.

Moore set the pace for the Bears in receiving yards and targets while tying Cole Kmet for the team lead in receptions. The talented wideout wasn't able to come close to a top-end performance against his old squad, but Moore's receiving yardage total was his highest since his breakout 230-yard effort in Week 5 against the Commanders. The veteran could see a boost in production again in a Week 11 divisional clash against the Lions on Nov. 19 that should mark Justin Fields' (thumb) return to action.

Moore caught three passes for 44 yards in the Bears' 24-17 loss to the Saints on Sunday.

In the three games that Tyson Bagent has been Chicago's starting quarterback, Moore has posted between 44 and 55 yards while not finding the end zone. Moore will hope that Justin Fields (thumb) returns in Week 10, so the star receiver can resume a streak in which he had at least 104 yards in three of four games before Bagent took over.

Moore secured three of five targets for 55 yards in the Bears' 24-17 loss to the Saints on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.

It was a ragged day all the way around for the normally reliable receiver, finishing behind both Cole Kmet and Darnell Mooney in receptions while also losing a fumble in Bears territory early in the third quarter that led to a Saints field goal. Moore has now been under the 100-yard mark in four consecutive contests after a stellar two-game stretch in Weeks 4 and 5, but he could have Justin Fields (thumb) back under center in a Week 10 home matchup against the Panthers on Thursday night.

Sunday Night Football featured teams with losing records in Week 8, but fans were treated to an individual battle between two of the league's top talents when Moore locked horns with Chargers lockdown corner Asante Samuel. Both players had their moments, with the end result being a solid receiving line for Chicago's young star. Moore hasn't been able to recapture the magic from his whopping three-touchdown game in Week 5, but his fantasy floor remains high heading into Week 9 after reaching 50 yards in three straight games.

Moore caught eight of nine targets for 54 yards in Sunday's 30-12 win over the Raiders.

With undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent under center in place of Justin Fields (thumb), the Bears' passing game was limited to short, safe tosses, but Moore was still the team's top option through the air. The former Panther has exactly eight catches in three of the last four games, amassing a 29-466-4 line on 36 targets over that stretch, but if Fields isn't able to return in Week 8 against the Chargers, Moore will likely be more of a floor than a ceiling play.

Moore brought in five of eight targets for 51 yards in the Bears' 19-13 loss to the Vikings on Sunday.

Moore did lead the Bears in receptions, receiving yards and targets, but his numbers were a far cry from his standout 8-230-3 line against the Commanders in a Thursday night Week 5 win. Moore's output was naturally affected by Justin Fields' early exit from the game with a hand injury and undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent replacing him. Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports X-rays on Fields' hand were negative and that the third-year quarterback will undergo an MRI on Monday, and Moore's near-term fantasy prospects will likely hinge largely on how soon Fields can get back under center.

Moore brought in eight of 10 targets for 230 yards and three touchdowns in the Bears' 40-20 win over the Commanders on Thursday night.

The prized offseason acquisition was coming off his most productive game in a Bears uniform yet in Week 4 against the Broncos, when he'd posted an 8-131-1 line. Moore managed to outdo himself by a wide margin on the same number of catches Thursday, hauling in touchdown grabs of 20, 11 and 56 yards, with the last two coming in contested situations. Moore's third scoring catch, which saw him run free 48 yards down the sideline into the end zone after the reception, sealed the game for Chicago by extending its 37-20 lead. Moore now has five touchdowns in five games after recording seven across 17 contests with the Panthers a year ago, and he'll next get a crack at a vulnerable Vikings defense in a Week 6 home matchup on Sunday. Oct. 15.

Moore secured eight of nine targets for 131 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 31-28 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.

Moore comfortably set the pace for the Bears in receiving yards while tying with Cole Kmet for the lead in targets as well. The veteran wideout's touchdown grab was a thing of beauty along the right sideline in the end zone in the first quarter from 29 yards, and all of his reception, receiving yardage and target totals were his best of the season. Moore will certainly be a primary beneficiary if Justin Fields can continue to perform as he did for most of Sunday's four-touchdown effort, and the duo will look to remain hot in a Week 5 Thursday night matchup on the road against the Commanders.

Moore had three receptions on six targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 41-10 loss to Kansas City.

Moore cashed in his first touchdown with the Bears on the team's final offensive drive of an ugly loss Sunday. Garbage-time scores count all the same in fantasy, giving the wideout his second consecutive quality line after going for 104 yards last week. He did leave a chunk of yards on the table on a deep pass attempt from Justin Fields that was dropped by the normally sure-handed receiver. Moore will draw a tough matchup against shutdown corner Patrick Surtain when the Bears face the Broncos next Sunday.

Moore brought in six of seven targets for 104 yards in the Bears' 27-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.

Moore comfortably led the Bears in receiving yardage while also setting the pace in receptions. The veteran's performance following a quiet debut in the Week 1 loss to the Packers was along the lines of what was expected after a strong body of work during OTAs and training camp, and Moore will undoubtedly be called upon plenty as the Bears look to keep up with the Bears in a Week 3 road matchup.

Moore finished with just two catches on two targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Packers.

Moore was held in check in his Bears debut, with five teammates garnering more looks than him in the passing game. To his credit, Moore hauled in the only pair of throws his way, but he nonetheless failed to make a meaningful impact in his first game with quarterback Justin Fields. Chicago's top offseason addition will strive to make a bigger splash in Week 2 while facing a Tampa Bay secondary he knows well from his time in Carolina.

Moore caught one of two targets for 40 yards in Saturday's preseason game against Buffalo.

Moore had his second long catch-and-run of the preseason, following a 62-yard TD on a screen pass a couple weeks prior. QB Justin Fields also has familiar teammates WR Darnell Mooney and TE Cole Kmet as receiving weapons, but there's no doubt about Moore being the top option heading into a tricky Week 1 matchup with a Green Bay defense that has the option of using CB Jaire Alexander (groin/foot) in shadow coverage.

Moore was an after-the-catch monster both at Carolina in the NFL and at Maryland in college, so the skills he demonstrated on his 62-yard screen pass touchdown were nothing new. It certainly is something new for the Chicago offense, however, and provides a direct example of how the Bears offense could be significantly improved in 2023. Plays like that are a reminder of why Moore will likely be Chicago's lead target in 2023, and with considerable distance between himself and whichever second-leading pass catcher emerges.

Bears QB Justin Fields said Thursday that his chemistry with Moore has "come on quickly" in recent weeks, ESPN's Courtney Cronin reports.

Moore called the connection "a work in progress" at the start of OTAs in May, two months after the Bears traded for him as part of a deal that sent Carolina the No. 1 overall pick. It sounds like he and Fields have made progress this spring, with the QB mentioning Thursday that he's been impressed by Moore's ability to recognize different coverages. The 26-year-old wideout joins an offense that was last in the league for pass attempts and passing yardage last year, but there's hope for a big step forward with Fields entering his third pro season after the Bears added Moore and rookie OT Darnell Wright (10th overall pick) this spring.

Moore is headed to the Bears in deal that is slated to send the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft to the Panthers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Per the report, along with Moore, the Bears are also in line to receive the No. 9 and 61 overall picks in the this year's draft, a 2024 first-rounder and a 2025 second-rounder. No Carolina skill player other than Christian McCaffrey made much of an impact, as the team was beset by further quarterback issues when P.J. Walker (neck) had to be replaced by Jacob Eason. With the team now 1-5 and seemingly in full tank mode, Moore's best chance of turning around his season might need to come via a trade. If not, the fifth-year wideout will head toward a Week 7 clash with the Saints not sure whether Eason, Walker or Baker Mayfield (ankle) will be the one throwing him the ball.

Walker under center in Week 6 against the Rams -- over Walker's only two NFL starts, Moore has caught 11 of 18 targets for 151 yards.

He'll strive to continue building chemistry with new quarterback Baker Mayfield ahead of Week 2's matchup versus the Giants.

Moore played in the Panthers' final preseason game against Buffalo on Friday, but he did not record any stats.

Moore didn't have any involvement in the offense, but most importantly, he was cleared of a shoulder issue that had been lingering since Aug. 13. Barring a setback, Moore will be in line to serve as Baker Mayfield's top target in a Week 1 matchup against the Browns.

On the bright side, Moore's 163 targets last season were a career-high by 28, and he could break out in 2022 if similar volume is accompanied by better quarterback play. At the moment, however, it looks like the Panthers have missed out on all the top veteran QBs available, perhaps forcing them to settle for a mediocre veteran or a rookie in the upcoming NFL Draft. Regardless, Moore is the clear top option in the passing game, rivaled only (at times) by RB Christian McCaffrey.

Despite spotty quarterback play for most of the campaign and losing his offensive coordinator midway through as well, Moore still topped 1,000 receiving yards for the third straight season. With 2022 being the last campaign under his rookie contract, Moore will look to cash in with a lucrative extension this offseason before likely returning to the Panthers as their top receiving option next term.

Although his production has declined since a hot start to the season, Moore's touchdown Sunday, established rapport with new-yet-familiar starting quarterback Cam Newton, and upcoming matchup versus the Dolphins offers a few reasons for optimism in Week 12.

Moore had another quiet outing, as he's now gone consecutive games with under five catches and 35 yards. Although Carolina switching to quarterbacks P.J. Walker and Cam Newton on Sunday surely impacted the offense, Moore still trailed tailbacks Christian McCaffrey and Ameer Abdullah, as well as fellow wideout Robby Anderson, in yardage. On the bright side, only McCaffrey garnered more looks. Whether it's Walker, Newton or both throwing passes next week versus Washington, Moore will strive to make a much bigger impact than he's managed of late.

Moore caught three of seven targets for 32 yards and rushed twice for 14 yards in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Patriots.

Moore led Carolina in targets, but saw tailbacks Christian McCaffrey and Chuba Hubbard top him in receiving yardage on a day when quarterback Sam Darnold again struggled while throwing three interceptions. Darnold also led Moore into a big hit late, adding to Carolina's offensive frustrations. Although McCaffrey's return gives Moore notable competition for looks, those two are easily coordinator Joe Brady's best playmakers, which should keep Moore's value stable heading into Week 10 versus the Cardinals.

Moore caught four of eight targets for 59 yards in Sunday's 19-13 win over the Falcons.

Moore led Carolina in all major receiving categories, but it was still a below-average performance by his standards. On a coaching challenge that was upheld, he narrowly missed out on an 11-yard touchdown during the first quarter and has now gone four straight outings without a score. With quarterback Sam Darnold suffering a concussion Sunday, it remains to be seen who will be throwing to Moore in Week 9 versus the Patriots -- when superstar tailback Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) could re-enter the fold as well -- but the wideout remains a high-quality option at his position.

Moore recorded six receptions on 10 targets for 73 yards in Sunday's 25-3 loss to the Giants.

Moore accounted for 73 of the Panthers' 144 yards through the air Sunday, but he couldn't post a better line based on the poor play of Sam Darnold. He recorded receptions of 21, 19 and 12 yards to pick up most of his yardage and has now logged a catch of at least 20 yards in six of seven contests. Moore has also had consistent volume and racked up double-digit targets in five games this season while falling below 70 yards in a matchup only once.

Moore had five receptions (13 targets) for 73 yards Sunday but also lost a fumble in a 34-28 overtime loss to Minnesota.

Moore ended up leading the Panthers in overall receiving production despite Sam Darnold failing to connect with his receiver on eight occasions. The 24-year-old has hit a bit of a rough patch over the last two weeks after hitting the ground running over his first four games this season. On the bright side, Darnold and Moore will have a prime opportunity to get right against a Giants defense that ranks in the bottom third in nearly every defensive category this year.

Moore recorded eight receptions on 12 targets for 113 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's Week 4 loss to the Cowboys.

Moore drew double-digit targets for the third consecutive game and has surpassed 100 receiving yards in each of his last two contests. Against the Cowboys, he managed big gains of 39 and 29 yards, both of which came primarily after the catch. His touchdowns did come late in the game and with the Panthers down multiple scores. Regardless of when the production has come, it's been a strong start to the season for Moore as he has 398 receiving yards and three touchdowns through four contests.

Moore caught eight of 12 targets for 126 yards in Thursday night's 24-9 win over the Texans.

Moore was targeted frequently during the first half, helping the Panthers gain first downs with a variety of catches between the numbers. In fact, the wideout hit 100 yards on his six grabs by halftime. Although he understandably couldn't maintain that pace in the second half -- and was briefly seen being examined by trainers on the sideline before re-entering the game -- Moore overall helped Carolina's offense compensate for Christian McCaffrey's (hamstring) second-quarter exit. Quietly coming off consecutive seasons with 1,200 scrimmage yards, Moore has put up at least 75 yards in each of his three games to begin the current campaign, continuing his stock's ascent among receivers league-wide.

Moore caught eight of 11 targets for 79 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-7 win over the Saints.

For the second straight game, Moore was Sam Darnold's favorite option among Carolina's wideouts, and this time the duo connected on a 20-yard TD strike in the second quarter. Moore will look to keep his hot start going Thursday against a Texans defense that got lit up by DJ Chark and Marvin Jones in their opener.

Moore caught four of his six targets for 49 receiving yards during Sunday's 31-21 win against the Cardinals.

The Maryland product enjoyed a lucrative Week 2 outing against Tampa Bay, racking up eight catches for 120 yards on his 13 targets. In Moore's other three appearances of 2020, however, the 23-year-old wideout has accumulated 3.3 catches and 56 receiving yards per contest -- certainly not insubstantial production in the fantasy football realm, but averages that would land him well short from his 87-catch, 1,175-yard campaign of 2019. Moore's next matchup offers a "get right" opportunity, as he faces a banged-up Falcons defense that entered Week 4 allowing the second-highest total of WR receiving yards (736).

Moore caught two of four targets for 65 yards during Sunday's 21-16 win over the Chargers.

Moore struggled to break loose against a talented Chargers defense, although he did post a pair of big gains for all of his production on the day. The switch to Teddy Bridgewater under center has produced mixed results for Moore, who piled up 120 yards on eight catches a week ago and is still on pace for over 1,200 receiving yards through three games. He will look to get back on track next Sunday in what should be a more favorable matchup against the Cardinals.

A week after an underwhelming season-opening effort that saw him post a 4-54 line, Moore once again saw plenty of attention heaped on him by new quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. To the delight of fantasy managers, the results were markedly different, with Moore posting game-high totals in receiving yardage and targets while tying for second in receptions. Through two contests, Moore has now logged a robust 22 targets, certainly an encouraging sign for the trust and chemistry he's quickly built with Bridgewater. Moore will look to build on Sunday's strong effort in a Week 3 inter-conference road battle versus the Chargers.

Moore saw nine targets but managed only four receptions for 54 yards in Week 1 against the Raiders.

Moore led the team with nine targets, but both Robby Anderson and Curtis Samuel saw only one fewer opportunity. He also wasn't particularly efficient when the ball came his way, averaging just six yards per target. Moore is likely still gaining rapport with new quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and will be the focus of opposing defenses gameplan. That may force him to make some adjustments early on this season, but he'll look to get on track in a Week 2 matchup against the Buccaneers.

Moore is one of the few key holdovers from 2019 for a Panthers team that underwent huge changes in the offseason, ESPN.com's David Newton reports.

The new faces include coach Matt Rhule, OC Joe Brady, QB Teddy Bridgewater and WR Robby Anderson, while the crucial departures on offense were TE Greg Olsen, WR Jarius Wright and QBs Kyle Allen and Cam Newton. The switch from Allen to Bridgewater could prove especially fruitful for Moore, who largely made a living on short and intermediate throws during a breakout 2019 campaign. The 23-year-old wideout missed the majority of Week 16 and all of Week 17 due to a concussion, but he previously had been on pace for 98 catches and 1,342 receiving yards. With plenty of time to recover this offseason, Moore should be ready to go whenever the Panthers are able to practice.

Moore (ankle) was a full practice participant Thursday, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Moore departed Wednesday's session early to attend the birth of his child but was back in action one day later, per Max Henson of the Panthers' official site. Following his return to the fray, Moore will turn his focus to Sunday's matchup with the Redskins, who have allowed 8.9 yards per target and 14 total touchdowns to wide receivers in 11 games this season.

Moore was limited in Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

Moore turned in a rock-solid performance in the London clash, pacing the Panthers in receptions, receiving yards and targets in the process. The second-year wideout has encouragingly logged 18 targets over the last two games, which he's parlayed into 13 receptions and 164 yards. Moore thus heads into the bye week with plenty of momentum and a burgeoning rapport with quarterback Kyle Allen, both which he'll look to continue cultivating against the 49ers in Week 8.
