Moreau finished tied with running backs Alvin Kamara and Devin Neal and wideout Devaughn Vele for the team's third-most targets. TE1 Juwan Johnson logged the team's second-most targets (four). Over the previous two years, Moreau accrued 53 catches for 606 yards and six touchdowns across 32 regular-season games. He'll likely continue to max out around three to four targets per game moving forward, which wouldn't make him a worthwhile streaming option for fantasy managers.

Moreau tallied zero targets during Sunday's 26-14 win versus the Giants.

Moreau eased his way back during his first game off the PUP list. The 28-year-old played a lower percentage of offensive snaps (35) than the team's other two tight ends, Juwan Johnson (85) and Jack Stoll (38). Meanwhile, Taysom Hill served almost exclusively as a rushing option in what was also his first game of the season. Moreau wasn't a significant pass-catcher over the last two years in New Orleans, but he played more offensive snaps (711) than TE1 Johnson (653) over 17 regular-season games in 2024. He should eventually ramp back up to become the clear-cut TE2, but his fantasy value will be minimal except for the deepest of PPR leagues. His next game will come versus the Patriots on Sunday, Oct. 12.

Moreau thus has been cleared for his first game action since Week 18 of last season, when he suffered a knee injury that required surgery and a stint on the reserve/PUP list Weeks 1-4 of the current campaign. Fellow TE Taysom Hill (knee) is back in the lineup as well, meaning Moreau may be the Saints' third option at the position, at best, behind Juwan Johnson (ankle) and Hill on Sunday. Moreau is coming off a 32-413-5 line on 43 targets in 17 regular-season games in 2024.

In addition to Moreau, the Saints list fellow tight ends Juwan Johnson (ankle) and Taysom Hill (knee) as questionable for Week 5, leaving the position group in a state of flux as Sunday's contest approaches.

Given the length of his absence, the tight end may need to upgrade to full participation Friday to have a realistic chance at being activated ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants.

If Johnson is at risk of missing any time due to injury, Moreau could be positioned to step into a notable role on offense once fully cleared to retake the field.

Moreau is in the final stages of his recovery from a knee injury that he sustained in Week 18 of the 2024 regular season. He has been on the PUP list since the start of training camp in July, but the 2019 fourth-rounder has progressed enough in his recovery to return to practice. Once Moreau's practice window opens, the Saints will have 21 days to activate him from the PUP list. If he's not activated within that 21-day window, then he would revert to injured reserve and be forced to miss the rest of the 2025 season.

He played 711 offensive snaps in 2024 -- the second-most of his career -- so once he returns from injury, Moreau is likely to compete for a role as one of the Saints' top vertical threats at tight end.

The 27-year-old still has one year left on his contract, although there is likely no guarantee he'll be in a Saints uniform next season.

Moreau went down after sustainieng a blow to his leg and he was carted to the locker room late in the fourth quarter. Saints coach Darren Rizzi said postgame that the tight end suffered a knee injury, but he did not elaborate on the nature or severity of this issue, according to Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com. Moreau suited up for all 17 games this season, finishing with 32 catches for 413 yards and five touchdowns. His numbers never jumped off the page this season, but he was a solid complement opposite tight end Juwan Johnson, who recorded a 50-548-3 season stat line. Moreau joined the Saints on a two-year, $12 million contract in March of 2023. With the team likely to undergo a reset this offseason, it's unclear if Moreau will be back in New Orleans for the 2025 campaign.

Moreau caught three of five targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 25-10 loss to the Raiders.

The Saints' top two tight ends, Moreau and Juwan Johnson, combined for a 9-113-1 line on 15 targets -- volume that was due to rookie QB Spencer Rattler being under center, as well as the fact that the team's wide receiver room has been gutted by injuries. Moreau could be leaned on again in Week 18 against the Buccaneers, especially with Marquez Valdes-Scantling (back) being the latest WR to go down for New Orleans.

Moreau made one of the standout plays of Sunday's game, catching a pass one-handed and in stride over the middle before running for a 32-yard gain. The 250-pound tight end has already surpassed his season-long production from last year, but he's still logged more than two catches in just two games this season and has not recorded a touchdown since Week 9. Meanwhile, fellow tight end Juwan Johnson recorded four catches on five targets along with an 11-yard touchdown reception on Sunday. Moreau and Johnson should continue to split targets as the top-two tight ends for the Saints moving forward. Their next game will come versus the Commanders on Sunday, Dec. 15.

In standard scoring formats, though, both Moreau and Johnson will still likely be touchdown dependent options.

Moreau's listing on practice reports Thursday and Friday likely will give a sense of his odds to suit up Sunday versus the Rams.

Moreau briefly exited with a shoulder injury in the first half before returning in the second quarter. The tight end logged three catches in the second half as the Saints scored over 30 points or the first time since Week 1. He did not see any targets in the red zone though, as fellow tight end Juwan Johnson scored the team's shortest touchdown with a one-yard reception to go up 28-14 in the fourth quarter. Moreau's average target share still isn't enough to justify any fantasy relevance unless he plays an outsized role as a red-zone threat. With the Saints on bye Week 12, Moreau's next chance to get back into the end zone will come versus the Rams on Sunday, Dec. 1.

Moreau has returned to Sunday's game against the Browns after hurting his shoulder in the first quarter, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.

Moreau exited in the first quarter after being slammed to the ground on an attempted catch, and he was initially deemed questionable to return. However, the tight end has since been able to re-enter the contest. Moreau will thus be able to continue working as part of the Saints' tight-end trio along with Juwan Johnson and Taysom Hill.

Moreau got slammed to the ground while making a catch late in the first quarter, which was ultimately nullified by a holding call. Moreau managed to walk back to the bench under his own power, and while he is being evaluated, Dallin Holker could see more snaps on offense behind Juwan Johnson and Taysom Hill.

Moreau failed to haul in either of his two targets during Sunday's 20-17 victory against Atlanta.

Moreau logged two or fewer targets for the sixth game in a row. The sixth-year tight end has been an intermittent scoring threat in the red zone this season, but he has little to no value in terms of fantasy otherwise. This didn't change despite the barrage of injuries to the team's wide receiver room, as Cedrick Wilson (shoulder) was inactive while Chris Olave (concussion), Rashid Shaheed (knee) and Bub Means (ankle) are all on IR. Moreau has now totaled 12 catches (on 15 targets) for 167 yards and three touchdowns across 10 games. He'll look to find the end zone during next week's game versus the Browns on Sunday, Nov. 17.

Moreau caught his third touchdown of the season when he hauled in a 17-yard pass from quarterback Derek Carr early in the fourth quarter. He still split playing time and targets with fellow tight end Juwan Johnson, who was targeted on the ensuring two-point conversion following Moreau's touchdown. Moreau has now totaled 12 catches across nine games this season. He'll look to get back into the end zone during this coming Sunday's home game against Atlanta.

Moreau reeled in all two targets for 38 yards during Thursday's 33-10 loss against the Broncos.

Moreau logged exactly two catches on exactly two targets for the third week in a row. He continued to play almost as many offensive snaps (42) as fellow tight end Juwan Johnson (51). However, the latter totaled four more targets than Moreau. The Saints have started to utilize both tight ends more over the last three games, but the absences of starting quarterback Derek Carr (oblique) and do-it-all tight end Taysom Hill (ribs) have severely impacted the team's overall offensive production. With Carr likely to remain out this coming week versus the Chargers, it's probably not worth picking up either Johnson or Moreau on the waiver wire in season-long fantasy formats.

Moreau hauled in both of his targets for 54 yards during Sunday's 51-27 loss to the Buccaneers.

Moreau logged over 40 receiving yards for the first time since Week 1. The 27-year-old also recorded a team-long 41-yard reception on a deep pass from rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler, who was starting in place of an injured Derek Carr (oblique). The Saints appear to use their tight ends more Week 6, though Juwan Johnson saw more of the benefits with three catches on three targets for 48 yards. Johnson has seen more consistent targets over the last three games while Moreau has totaled just four over this span. Moreau likely won't even warrant attention as a fringe waiver-wire pickup as long as Johnson commands the majority of usage at tight end for the Saints.

Moreau corralled both of his targets for 13 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 26-13 loss to Kansas City.

Moreau was the beneficiary of one of Derek Carr's two touchdown passes in Monday's loss to the reigning Super Bowl Champions. The veteran tight end had just one catch for two yards over his previous three contests, so this lone scoring performance shouldn't spark a frenzy to the waiver wire. Moreau and the Saints will prepare to host the Buccaneers in Week 6.

Moreau accrued zero targets during Sunday's 26-24 defeat against the Falcons.

Moreau played a season-low 57 percent of offensive snaps after playing at 71 percent in each of the previous three games. The 27-year-old has been listed as the Saints' starting tight end so far this season, but he was overshadowed by Juwan Johnson this week, as the latter logged two catches on three targets while playing 67 percent of offensive snaps. Moreau has now totaled two targets since his four-catch performance against Carolina in Week 1. It's unlikely that he'll get significantly more playing time during the Saints' next game versus the Chiefs on Monday, Oct. 7.

Moreau worked his way back in as a receiving option after going without a target during last week's 44-19 win against Dallas. The 27-year-old tight end still didn't see any scoring opportunities, as New Orleans scored touchdowns on just one of three red-zone trips against Philadephia. However, he saw significantly more playing time than Juwan Johnson, tallying 40 offensive snaps compared to Johnson's 28. Through three weeks, Moreau looks like he's valued into the top option at tight end, but he's still logged just five catches on six targets over this span. With new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak's scheme seeming to favor the running game and wide receiver passing game, it's unlikely that Moreau will fetch much fantasy value even if he maintains a starting job moving forward.

Moreau logged zero targets during Sunday's 44-19 victory over the Cowboys.

Moreau once again started Sunday after suffering a concussion during last week's win against the Panthers. The 27-year-old didn't get much of any looks during what was a clinical performance for quarterback Derek Carr, who went 11-for-16 passing for 243 yards and two touchdowns to one interception. However, Moreau would have recorded a 26-yard touchdown catch of his own early in the third quarter, but this was play was nullified by an ineligible downfield player penalty, thus setting up running back Alvin Kamara for his fourth and final touchdown rush later in the drive. Moreau still appeared to play as much or more than Juwan Johnson, who also finished with a target Sunday. It will be worth monitoring if either Moreau or Johnson see any sort of meaningful target share during next Sunday's contest versus Philadelphia.

Moreau was a limited practice participant Wednesday before upgrading to full Thursday and Friday. The lack of an injury designation suggests he's already cleared concussion protocol and will handle his norma role against the Cowboys. Moreau ran routes on only 44 percent of the Saints' pass plays in a Week 1 blowout of the Panthers, but he played 77 percent of snaps overall and put up a 4-43-1 receiving line with four targets on his 11 routes.

He'll need to attain clearance from an independent neurologist before being removed from the protocol and guaranteeing his availability for Sunday.

He'll thus finish Week 1 with four catches (on four targets) for 43 yards and one touchdown. His target count surprisingly was ahead of fellow TEs Juwan Johnson (three) and Taysom Hill (two), but assuming he entered the concussion protocol, Moreau will need to complete its five steps in order to be cleared for his next game action.

After free agency opened in March 2023, Moreau underwent a physical with the Saints, which revealed a diagnosis of Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He immediately began treatment, signed a contract with New Orleans in May and was deemed to be in remission in early July. He proceeded to play in 15 regular-season games en route to a 21-193-1 line on 25 targets, but he revealed that the ankle injury that forced DNPs in Weeks 3 and 4 impacted him the rest of the way and eventually resulted in surgery in early January. With a little more than two weeks remaining before the 2024 campaign, Moreau is positioned behind Juwan Johnson on the TE depth chart, likely leaving him with a similar role to last year.

Moreau caught one pass for the third week in a row, though he totaled his fewest receiving yards of any game in which he caught at least one pass this season. The 26-year-old finishes his first campaign in New Orleans with 21 receptions (on 25 targets) for 193 yards and one touchdown across 15 games.

Moreau caught his only target for 13 yards during Sunday's 23-13 victory over the Buccaneers.

Moreau logged exactly 13 receiving yards for the third week in a row. However, he recorded his lowest of number of targets over this span, as he had totaled 11 targets over the previous four games. The 26-year-old took a backseat role behind top tight end Juwan Johnson, who recorded team highs in targets (12), receptions (eight) and yards (90) versus Tampa Bay. The latter tight end seems to have reclaimed his role as New Orleans' top tight end over the past two games, as he has now logged 19 targets over the past two games after totaling just eight over the previous three contests. With Johnson and No. 1 wideout Chris Olave in position as the team's top pass catchers to go along with numerous other receiving options, Moreau's workload should remain minimal Week 18 against Atlanta.

After back-to-back weeks as the Saints' feature tight end, Moreau took a backseat role behind Juwan Johnson, as the latter played increased offensive snaps (42) and caught four of seven targets and saw increased offensive snaps (42) Thursday. Meanwhile, the 26-year-old Moreau's playing time took a dip, as he played just 40 percent of offensive snaps compared to 63 and 72 percent of offensive snaps in the previous two contests. Johnson also previously played a larger offensive role before dealing with a lingering quad injury for three weeks. Barring injury, it's likely than Johnson will now reprise this larger role over Moreau for the final two weeks of the regular season.

Moreau hauled in three of five targets for 13 yards during Sunday's 24-6 victory against the Giants.

Moreau saw a bump in usage for the third week in a row, as the 26-year-old logged a season high in targets while also tying for his second-most receptions of any game this year. Fellow Saints tight ends Juwan Johnson and Jimmy Graham each logged two receptions on two targets; but, these two also each caught a touchdown pass from quarterback Derek Carr, who threw a season-high three touchdowns. This group has taken on a larger role as of late with Michael Thomas (knee) on IR, and the absence of No. 1 wideout Chris Olave (ankle) on Sunday likely heightened this even further. Yet, Moreau has accumulated just seven catches (on nine targets) for 49 yards and zero touchdowns over the last three games. Unless he finds the end zone, his relevance in fantasy will likely remain minimal during Thursday's matchup versus the Rams.

Moreau logged two catches (on two targets) for eight yards during Sunday's 28-6 win against the Panthers.

Moreau played at least 60 percent of offensive snaps for the second week in a row after doing so just twice across his first nine appearances of the year. The 26-year-old likely saw a bump in playing time due to the absence of Taysom Hill (foot) combined with a smaller showing for Juwan Johnson, as the latter played just 40 percent of offensive snaps after being limited with a quad issue during Week 14 prep. Moreau and Johnson still tied with 37-year-old tight end Jimmy Graham in terms of both targets and receptions Sunday. Graham was also the only member of this position group to catch a touchdown pass Sunday, as he's seemingly become one of the Saints' go-to targets in the red zone as of late. Moreau has now caught all but one of his 16 targets for 151 yards and a touchdown across 11 games this season. Moreau was on the field for all 69 of the Raiders' snaps on offense in Monday's win over the Browns, so his listed limitations Wednesday could simply be a case of the team acknowledging that he came out of a busy Week 15 with some aches and pains. Meanwhile, Darren Waller (knee/back) logged a 'DNP' Wednesday, so provided Moreau's injury issues aren't a big concern, there's a decent chance he could head the Raiders' tight end corps again Sunday against the Broncos.

Moreau caught seven of nine targets for 65 yards in Monday's 16-14 win over Cleveland.

Moreau filled in admirably for Darren Waller (knee/back) in this one, leading the Raiders in catches and tying Zay Jones for the team lead in targets while trailing Jones by two receiving yards for the game's high-water mark. If Waller's not ready to return in Week 16 against the Broncos, Moreau would retain the starting tight end job and the attention from quarterback Derek Carr that comes with that role.

Moreau and the Raiders will no longer play the Browns on Saturday, after the NFL officially rescheduled the matchup between the two teams for Monday at 5 p.m. ET.

Due to ongoing COVID-19-related issues within the Cleveland organization, the NFL is hopeful that by delaying the game two days, the Browns will restore enough players from the reserve/COVID-19 list to alleviate depth concerns on the roster. Assuming the Week 15 game is played Monday as planned, Moreau and Las Vegas will face a quick turnaround for its Week 16 contest versus the Broncos, which is still expected to be played Sunday, Dec. 26 as scheduled. Moreau will be picking up his third straight start Monday, as Las Vegas had already ruled top tight end Darren Waller (knee/back) out before the game was pushed back.

Meanwhile, Darren Waller (knee/back) failed to practice in any capacity and will miss his third straight game, paving the way for Moreau to pick up another start. In his previous two outings while filling in for Waller, Moreau was on the field for 106 of the Raiders' 116 offensive snaps (91.4 percent) and stringed together a 4-47-0 receiving line on nine targets.

Interim coach Rich Bisaccia called Moreau "day-to-day " on Monday due to an undisclosed strained muscle, according to Vic Tafur of The Athletic. Its nature has been revealed to be an abdominal strain, but Moreau still appears to be in better shape than No. 1 tight end Darren Waller (knee/back), who hasn't practiced in any capacity since he was forced out of the Raiders' Week 12 win in Dallas. If Waller again is sidelined Saturday at Cleveland, Moreau would be in line for another large workload, assuming he's active.

It's unclear if Moreau is any healthier at this stage, but the Raiders' upcoming practice reports will provide a better gauge for which direction both tight ends are trending in as Saturday's game approaches.

In Waller's first absence this past Sunday against Washington, Moreau earned 84 percent of Las Vegas' snaps on offense, but he only hauled in one of three targets for 34 yards. Moreau has caught just three total passes since the team's Week 8 bye, but he could see another inflated snap count at Kansas City in Week 14 if Waller remains sidelined.

Moreau is expected to serve as the Raiders' top tight end Sunday against Washington with Darren Waller (back/knee) listed as doubtful for the contest, Josh Dubow of the Associated Press reports.

Waller wasn't able to practice in any fashion Wednesday through Friday, so barring some dramatic improvement leading up to Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff, he'll be inactive for the second time this season. When Waller sat out Week 7 against the Eagles with an ankle injury, Moreau stepped in to play all of the Raiders' 63 offensive snaps and finished with a 6-60-1 receiving line on six targets. He actually handled more snaps (69) following Waller's early exit in the Raiders' Thanksgiving Day win over the Cowboys, but Moreau reeled in only one of his five targets for a three-yard gain. Moreau thus looks like a somewhat volatile fantasy option for Week 13, even with another heavy snap share seemingly on the horizon.

Moreau played a season-high 77 offensive snaps against Dallas as No. 1 tight end Darren Waller exited the contest with a knee injury. The latter is now considered week-to-week, so Moreau could be in line for a significant role against Washington in Week 13. When Waller missed the Raiders' Week 7 tilt versus the Eagles, Moreau was able to capitalize with six catches on as many targets for 60 yards and a touchdown.

Moreau played 21 of the Raiders' 54 offensive snaps in Sunday's 41-14 loss to the Chiefs but didn't draw a target or record any other statistics.

Since putting up a 6-60-1 receiving line on six targets in a starting role during the Raiders' Week 7 win over the Eagles, Moreau has predictably seen his opportunities decline following top tight end Darren Waller's return from a one-game absence due to an ankle injury. In Las Vegas' two games since its Week 8 bye, Moreau has ran only 23 pass routes and hasn't been targeted, according to Josh Dubow of the Associated Press.

Moreau caught all six of his targets for 60 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-22 win over the Eagles.

Darren Waller (ankle) was ruled out just before kickoff, allowing Moreau to step into the No. 1 role and lead the Raiders in receiving yards while scoring his second TD of the year. With the team heading into its Week 8 bye, however, Waller will get extra time to recover, likely denying Moreau another shot at a significant workload.

With Darren Waller (ankle) inactive for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Moreau is in line for an expanded role in the Raiders' Week 7 offense.

Per Tashan Reed of The Athletic, with Waller, Nick Bowers (neck) and Derek Carrier (pectoral) all unavailable, Moreau and Matt Bushman are slated to handle the Raiders' tight end duties against Philadelphia. Though Moreau shouldn't be expected to replicate Waller's production level, he does at least represent a viable plug-in for those who had been awaiting Waller's playing status.

Moreau saw his offensive snap share creep back up as the Raiders played with a significant lead throughout the second half, but fellow tight end Darren Waller led the way with five receptions on as many targets. Moreau has not hauled in multiple passes in a single contest since Week 2.

Moreau was not targeted during the Raiders' 28-14 loss to the Chargers on Monday.

Moreau played just 17 offensive snaps while fellow tight end Darren Waller turned seven targets into four receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown. Moreau could see a slight rebound in playing time if the Raiders are able to get out to an early lead against the Bears in Week 5.

Moreau caught one of two targets for eight yards in Sunday's 31-28 overtime victory over the Dolphins.

Moreau has tallied three receptions for 42 yards and a score on five targets over the past two weeks, and he's logged at least 37 offensive snaps in all three of the Raiders' wins. He's the obvious No. 2 option at tight end behind Darren Waller, though fullback Alec Ingold vultured a one-yard touchdown catch against Miami.

Moreau caught two of three targets for 34 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-17 win over the Steelers.

Moreau wasn't targeted in the Raiders' Week 1 overtime win over the Ravens despite playing 46 offensive snaps, but he found the end zone during the third quarter Sunday on a nine-yard pass from quarterback Derek Carr. Moreau will likely remain touchdown dependent with fellow tight end Darren Waller headlining the offense, but the former has been on the field for more than 50 percent of the Raiders' offensive plays through two games.

Moreau should take on a larger role in 2021, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.

With Jason Witten retiring, Moreau should return to the No. 2 TE role, a spot he held throughout most of his 2019 rookie season. He logged 371 offensive snaps and 21 catches in 13 games as a rookie, before dropping to 256 snaps and seven receptions in 2020. The 2019 fourth-round pick won't see many targets if Darren Waller stays healthy next year, but Moreau does appear capable of handling a larger role if the opportunity arises, as his 34 targets in the NFL have yielded 314 yards and seven TDs.

Moreau was not targeted during Sunday's 31-28 win over the Jets.

The 23-year-old is without a catch since Week 4 and hasn't been targeted since Week 8, so he's clearly not a factor in Las Vegas' passing game. Moreau should continue to see a handful of offensive snaps per contest behind Darren Waller and Jason Witten.

Moreau was not targeted on any of his 11 offensive snaps during Sunday's 45-20 loss to Tampa Bay.

Moreau has garnered a steady workload of 10-15 offensive snaps in each of his appearances this season, save for a Week 2 anomaly in which he accumulated 32 snaps against New Orleans. The LSU product has flashed promise with two catches of 24-plus yards, but he otherwise has registered just two receptions for nine yards on the year. Starting tight end Darren Waller has dominated the position, and the entire team for that matter, with 55 targets through seven weeks.

Moreau caught his only target for eight yards in Sunday's 30-23 loss to the Bills.

Moreau has played no more than 15 offensive snaps in three of the Raiders' first four contests, but the LSU product has now recorded at least one reception in three consecutive games. Expect fellow tight ends Darren Waller and Jason Witten to continue handling a majority of the work Week 5 at Kansas City, severely limiting Moreau's fantasy relevance.

Moreau caught his first touchdown of the season on a one-yard connection with quarterback Derek Carr as time nearly expired in the first half. The LSU product also collected just the third 20-plus yard reception of his young career Sunday in New England, while starter Darren Waller caught only two of four targets for nine yards.

Moreau did not garner any targets during Sunday's 34-30 win against the Panthers.

Moreau was on the field for 19 percent of the Raiders' offensive snaps, but it was tight ends Darren Waller (eight targets) and Jason Witten (one target) who benefitted from action in the passing game. The LSU product attracted multiple targets in nine of his 13 appearances last year, but the arrival of Witten has potential to evaporate Moreau's already-limited role as a pass-catcher.

Moreau (knee) has been a full participant throughout the early portion of training camp, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Moreau is coming off a season-ending knee injury that limited him to 13 games as a rookie, but he looks on track to kick off Week 1 of the 2020 campaign unimpeded. The LSU product managed to put together an impressive rookie season despite operating as a depth option for the Raiders, hauling in 21 catches for 174 yards and scores touchdowns. The added veteran presence of Jason Witten, however, now means that Moreau's sophomore opportunities will be limited to what snaps he's able to earn in a No. 3 capacity.

Raiders general manager Mike Mayock said Tuesday that Moreau is "ahead of schedule" in his rehab from the left knee injury he suffered in December, Jerry McDonald of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Moreau, who has been conducting his rehab at his college training facility in LSU, is expected to be back to full health or close to it by the time the Raiders open training camp. As a rookie last season, Moreau proved to be a quality backup to starting tight end Darren Waller, finishing with 21 grabs on 25 targets for 174 yards and five touchdowns. Moreau's snaps could become less consistent in his second year with the Raiders, however, as the Las Vegas not only retained Waller but also brought in veteran Jason Witten this offseason to bolster the tight-end room.

The rookie fourth-round pick out of LSU made an immediate impact on the Raiders' offense. At the time of his injury, Moreau was tied with Tyrell Williams for the most receiving touchdowns on the team (five). Darren Waller will continue working as the team's No. 1 tight end moving forward, and Derek Carrier will bump into the No. 2 role. Coach Jon Gruden wasn't certain about Moreau's status for the 2020 season.
