Inactive again Week 11
Renfrow (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Sunday's matchup against Atlanta, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
This marks the fifth straight week that Renfrow is inactive as a healthy scratch. While the veteran wideout has had a few nice moments when active this season, it's clear that Carolina is prioritizing developing its young wideouts even as the team has an outside chance at claiming a playoff spot.

Healthy scratch Sunday
Renfrow (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Saints, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
The wide receiver is now a healthy scratch for the fourth consecutive week as Carolina continues to ride a receiving corps led by Tetairoa McMillan, Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker. Renfrow has 15 catches for 89 yards and two scores in six games this season.
Nov 2, 2025
Inactive for Week 9
Renfrow (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Packers, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow will be a healthy scratch for a third consecutive week as the Panthers go with five active wide receivers for Week 9, a group headlined by Tetairoa McMillan, Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker. Renfrow's next opportunity to play is Week 10 against the Saints on Sunday, Nov. 9.
Oct 26, 2025
Healthy scratch again
Renfrow (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bills, Darin Gantt of the Panther's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow will be a healthy scratch for a second-straight week, which coincides with the return of Jalen Coker from injured reserve. Coker will join Tetairoa McMillan, Xavier Legette, Jimmy Horn and Brycen Tremayne as Carolina's active wide receivers for Sunday's home game against Buffalo. Renfrow's next opportunity to play will be Week 9 against the Packers on Sunday, Nov. 2.
Oct 19, 2025
Inactive Sunday
Renfrow is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
With Jalen Coker back from IR, Renfrow is the odd man out in Carolina's Week 7 WR corps. Also in the mix at the position Sunday are Tetairoa McMillan, Xavier Legette, Brycen Tremayne and Jimmy Horn.
Oct 12, 2025
Crucial catch vs. Dallas
Renfrow caught one of two targets for seven yards during Sunday's 30-27 win over the Cowboys.
ANALYSIS
Although Renfrow underwhelmed again in the Week 6 win, his only catch came on a crucial fourth-down conversion late in the fourth quarter that helped set up the Panthers' game-winning field goal. The veteran wideout from Clemson has now caught just four of seven targets for 24 yards over Carolina's last three games, and his role is expected to diminish even further once Jalen Coker (quadriceps) returns from injured reserve.
Oct 6, 2025
Another quiet outing
Renfrow caught one of three targets for seven yards in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Dolphins.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow logged 28 offensive snaps in Sunday's contest, operating as the team's No. 3 wideout behind Tetairoa McMillan (58) and Xavier Legette (51). However, he heavily involved in the offense, finishing with fewer yards than both Jimmy Horn (31 total yards) and Brycen Tremayne (nine yards). Renfrow has now caught just five of nine targets over the past three games, suggesting his role in the Panthers' offense has diminished. He's likely to continue playing a reserve role in Carolina's wide-receiver corps in the Week 6 matchup against the Cowboys.
Sep 29, 2025
Just two catches vs. New England
Renfrow caught both of his targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 42-13 loss to the Patriots.
ANALYSIS
Renforw has been held in check over the Panthers' last two contests, catching four of his six targets for just 16 yards. This is particularly concerning because Carolina is currently without two of its top wideouts in Jalen Coker (quadriceps) and Xavier Legette (hamstring). Additionally, Renfrow (32 snaps) played fewer offensive snaps than Brycen Tremayne (53 snaps), suggesting he's operating as the Panthers' No. 3 wide receiver even with all the injuries. His role in Carolina's offense seems to have diminished, and he'll likely play another depth role in the Week 4 matchup against the Dolphins.
Sep 22, 2025
Held to six yards
Renfrow recorded two catches on four targets for six yards in Sunday's 30-0 win over Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
The Panthers held a comfortable lead for most of the game and also had a pick-six, limiting the team's passing volume. As a result, Renfrow finished second on the team with four targets, though that translated to an abysmal six yards. Renfrow has a clear role in the offense -- particularly while Jalen Coker (hamstring) is sidelined -- but he's been held under 15 receiving yards in two of three games this season.
Sep 15, 2025
Hauls in two scores Sunday
Renfrow (ribs) racked up seven receptions on nine targets for 48 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Sunday's 27-22 loss to Arizona.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow was cleared from the rib injury that limited him during the practice week, and his strong play solidified his clean bill of health. The veteran slot man was held to just 11 yards on two receptions in his first action since 2023 last week, but this was a significant spike in both usage and production. Both of Renfrow's scores were quick strikes from within five yards of the end zone as Carolina tried to claw its way back into this contest. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect this kind of scoring output on a regular basis, but Renfrow can generate PPR value against the Falcons next Sunday.
Sep 12, 2025
Cleared to suit up Week 2
Renfrow (ribs) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow upgraded to full participation in Friday's practice after opening the week with a pair of limited sessions. The veteran slot receiver was understandably sore after his first regular-season NFL action since the 2023 campaign in Carolina's Week 1 loss to the Jaguars. Renfrow had two catches for 11 yards on six targets in the season opener.
Sep 11, 2025
Another limited practice Thursday
Renfrow (ribs) remained limited in practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow has started Week 2 prep with consecutive limited practices. A full showing Friday would likely help the veteran slot receiver avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game in Arizona. Renfrow turned six targets into only 11 yards in his Panthers debut against the Jaguars in Week 1, as Carolina quarterback Bryce Young struggled.
Sep 10, 2025
Dealing with rib injury
Renfrow (ribs) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow finished Week 1 second on the Panthers in route share (81 percent) and third in targets (six), but with just 11 yards to show for it. He took 74 percent of his snaps in the slot, which is where he'll likely be again this Sunday at Arizona, squaring off with Cardinals slot corner Garrett Williams.
Sep 8, 2025
Nabs two passes in Panthers debut
Renforw caught two of his six targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 26-10 loss to the Jaguars.
ANALYSIS
The veteran wideout logged 42 offensive snaps during Sunday's loss, ranking third amongst Carolina receivers behind Tetairoa McMillan (53) and Xavier Legette (50). Although Bryce Young was forced to throw 35 times due to Carolina's 20-point fourth-quarter deficit, Renfrow still finished third on the team in targets, which could be a promising sign for his role in this offense. He's expected to continue serving as the Panthers' No. 3 wide receiver as the team travels to Arizona in Week 2.
Sep 4, 2025
Listed as starter on depth chart
Renfrow is listed as a starter on Carolina's first unofficial depth chart of the regular season.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow re-signed with the Panthers on Saturday after being released on cutdown day. He spent training camp with Carolina and is set to operate in the slot while Tetairoa McMillan and Xavier Legette work on the outside. Renfrow's ascent up the depth chart was spurred on by the Panthers trading fellow veteran slot receiver Adam Thielen to Minnesota and Jalen Coker (quadriceps) going on IR.
Sep 1, 2025
Will suit up Sunday
Panthers head coach Dave Canales said Monday that Renfrow will play Sunday versus the Jaguars, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow failed to secure a spot on Carolina's initial 53-man roster but was re-signed by the team Saturday, in the wake of Jalen Coker (quadriceps) being placed on IR and ruled out at least the first four games of the season. The Panthers also traded Adam Thielen to Minnesota on Thursday, meaning after spending the offseason with the team, Renfrow is now competing with just David Moore and Jimmy Horn for opportunities behind Tetairoa McMillan (hamstring) and Xavier Legette in Week 1.
Aug 30, 2025
Signs with Carolina's active roster
The Panthers signed Renfrow to their 53-man roster Saturday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow wasn't initially able to make Carolina's 53-man roster, but the team needed to bring in another wideout after trading Adam Thielen to Minnesota on Thursday. Renfrow didn't play at all in 2024, so it could be interesting to see how the year off affects his play on the field early in 2025. Renfrow brings plenty of veteran experience to a Panthers offense that will feature rookie Tetairoa McMillan (hamstring) and second-year players Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker as its likely top three wideouts, though Coker is slated to miss at least the first four games of the campaign while on IR due to a quad injury.
Aug 26, 2025
Unable to secure roster spot
The Panthers released Renfrow on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow spent the offseason in Carolina working to facilitate his NFL comeback after having spent the 2024 season out of the league, but he couldn't secure a spot on the initial 53-man roster. That may speak more to the Panthers' crowded wide receiver corps, headlined by Tetairoa McMillan (hamstring), Adam Thielen, Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker, than it does Renfrow's ability to contribute as a depth option, in which case he'll be a candidate to end up on Carolina's practice squad.
Aug 22, 2025
Quiet in preseason finale
Renfrow caught two of three targets for five yards in Thursday's preseason loss to Pittsburgh.
ANALYSIS
The Panthers rested most of their starters and some key backups, allowing Renfrow, Jalen Coker and David Moore to take most of the WR snaps early on. Renfrow didn't show much Thursday night, but recent trade rumors regarding Adam Thielen perhaps offer Renfrow a path to some kind of role with Carolina early in the season. There's also a chance the 29-year-old slot specialist has to settle for a spot on the practice squad or is let go entirely before Week 1.
Aug 11, 2025
Practicing in full pads
Renfrow (hamstring) is participating in Monday's padded practice, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow missed over a week of practice and Friday's preseason opener against the Browns due to a lingering hamstring injury, but the veteran wideout now appears to be ready to handle practice reps without restrictions. After having spent the 2024 season away from the NFL, Renfrow inked a one-year deal with Carolina in April and is now competing for a role slot role in the Panthers' wide receiver corps.
Aug 8, 2025
Unlikely to play Friday
Renfrow (hamstring) is not expected to play in Friday's preseason opener against the Browns, Joe Person of The Athletic rpeorts.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow is working through a hamstring injury and hasn't practiced since late July, but there's optimism that the veteran wideout will be available for the Panthers' second preseason game against the Texans on Saturday, Aug. 16. Renfrow's absence opens the door for wideouts further down the depth chart to get more reps on offense, including David Moore, Jimmy Horn and Brycen Tremayne. Renfrow signed a one-year contract with the Panthers in April after taking a season off in 2024.
Aug 5, 2025
Progressing but not practicing
Panthers coach Dave Canales said Tuesday that Renfrow (hamstring) is not practicing but has resumed running and cutting, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow has sat out roughly one week of practices due to a tweaked hamstring, but Carolina appears to simply be taking a cautious approach to the veteran wideout's return. That caution seems prudent, given that Renfrow is spent last season out of the league and last suited up for NFL action in 2023. The 29-year-old slot specialist is competing for reps in a surprisingly crowded Panthers receiving corps.
Jul 30, 2025
Tweaks hamstring
Renfrow (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Per Gantt and Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer, Renfrow's hamstring issue isn't anything long-term, with the veteran wideout having told coach Dave Canales that he'd be able to play this week if there was a game. When healthy, Renfrow who last saw regular-season action in 2023, will look to secure a slot role in a Panthers WR corps that also includes Tetairoa McMillan, Adam Thielen, Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker.
Apr 27, 2025
Returns to NFL, signs with Carolina
Renfrow and the Panthers agreed on a contract Sunday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow will make his return to the NFL after taking a season off in 2024. The wide receiver most recently reeled in 25 of 37 targets for 255 yards over 17 games with the Raiders in 2023. Renfrow's best campaign came in 2021 when he caught 103 of 128 targets for 1,038 yards and 10 touchdowns with Las Vegas, appearing in the Pro Bowl that season. The 29-year-old is a Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, native and he attended Clemson for college, so he'll now be looking to get his career back on track with what is effectively his hometown team in 2025.
Mar 28, 2025
Hosted by Las Vegas for visit
The Raiders are hosting Renfrow for a visit Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow, who didn't play at all in 2024 after being released by Las Vegas last March, also visited the Panthers on Wednesday. The 29-year-old wideout spent five seasons with the Raiders from 2019-23, most notably earning a Pro Bowl nod in 2021, when he compiled a career-best 103-1,038-9 receiving line. A reunion with Renfrow could make sense for Las Vegas, as the team is in need of reliable wideouts to surround new quarterback Geno Smith with. Currently, Tre Tucker and Kyle Philips stand atop the depth chart behind No. 1 option Jakobi Meyers.
Mar 13, 2024
Cut loose by Las Vegas
The Raiders are releasing Renfrow in a move that will add $8.21 million in 2024 cap space, Ta reports.
ANALYSIS
The move was seen as inevitable unless Renfrow would agree to a large paycut. He caught 103 passes for 1,038 yards and nine touchdowns in 2021 -- his third NFL season -- but then had only 585 yards in 27 games the past two years after signing a three-year, $31.7 million contract. He made it through two seasons of the contract and earned more than $20 million, and he'll now become a free agent a few months after his 28th birthday. Meanwhile, the Raiders have Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker atop their depth chart at wide receiver, with the latter having replaced Renfrow in the No. 3 role at times in 2023.
Feb 20, 2024
Likely headed for release
The Raiders can add $11.8 million in 2024 cap space if they release Renfrow with a post-June 1 designation, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow has just one season left on his contract, but the use of void years means dead-cap charges for 2025 and 2026 will accelerate onto the 2024 sheet if he's traded before June 1 or released without the aforementioned designation. Either way, the Raiders would avoid paying him an $11.53 million base salary, $100,000 workout bonus and up to $629,000 in per-game roster bonuses. It's an obvious move given his lack of production the past two seasons, though there is a scenario in which Renfrow stays in Las Vegas via a renegotiation or extension that drastically lowers his compensation. He's highly unlikely to have a trade market under the terms of the current contract.
Jan 16, 2024
Catchless over last four games
Renfrow, who didn't catch a single pass throughout the Raiders' final four games, ended the 2023 season with 25 total receptions for 255 yards on 37 targets in 17 contests.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow's otherwise disappointing 2023 campaign was highlighted by a three-game stretch within Weeks 11-14 in which he posted a 12-126-0 line on 14 targets, but he promptly saw his playing time dwindle thereafter in favor of rookie Tre Tucker's development behind fellow wideouts Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers. If the team is unable to find a trade partner for Renfrow this offseason, the 28-year-old slot receiver could be a release candidate at a $5.5 million dead cap expense, which would save the Raiders about $8.2 million in cap space.
Jan 2, 2024
Not targeted in loss
Renfrow was not targeted in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Colts.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow has played 12 or less snaps in back-to-back games with rookie Tre Tucker assuming the No. 3 wide receiver role behind Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers. Renfrow hasn't recorded a single reception since posting a 3-46-0 line Week 14 against the Vikings, and he figures to continue losing playing time to Tucker versus the Broncos in the upcoming regular season finale.
Dec 26, 2023
Another catchless outing
Renfrow was targeted once in Monday's 20-14 win over the Chiefs, but he finished the contest without a reception.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow wasn't alone in posting an underwhelming receiving line for the Raiders on Monday, as quarterback Aidan O'Connell completed just nine passes all game. Renfrow has been held without a single catch in back-to-back tilts, and he's likely to play behind Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker again Week 17 against the Colts.
Dec 15, 2023
Targeted twice on TNF
Renfrow was unable to haul in either of his two targets in Thursday's 63-21 win over the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow not only failed to contribute to the Raiders' 63 points, but he also played fewer offensive snaps (27) than fellow wide receiver Tre Tucker (29), who caught three passes for 59 yards and two touchdowns. Renfrow will continue to compete with Tucker for playing time behind Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers in Week 16 against the Chiefs.
Dec 10, 2023
Costly fumble in Sunday's loss
Renfrow caught three of five targets for 46 yards in Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
The veteran slot receiver finished second on the Raiders in receiving yards, but Renfrow also may have cost his team the game -- on Las Vegas' first possession of the second half, he caught a receiver screen and fumbled the ball after a big hit, ending the Raiders' only trip into the red zone. Renfrow has seen a more consistent role in the game plan since Josh McDaniels was fired, but he still has yet to catch a TD or reach 50 yards in a game heading into a Week 15 clash with the Chargers.
Nov 26, 2023
Stays involved offensively
Renfrow corralled all four of his targets for 38 yards in Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow followed up his five-catch performance against Miami with four more grabs Sunday. The veteran slot man had failed surpass two receptions over his first 10 games this season, which seemed to be directly linked to the signing of Jakobi Meyers this past offseason. Davante Adams and the aforementioned Meyers are still ahead of Renfrow in terms of depth chart order and target shares, leaving the 28-year-old with minimal fantasy value when Las Vegas returns from the bye to face Minnesota on Dec. 10.
Nov 20, 2023
Season-high five receptions Sunday
Renfrow caught all five of his targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Dolphins.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow finally caught more than two passes in a single game for the first time all season, but he played only three more offensive snaps (27) than rookie Tre Tucker (24) in Miami. Renfrow averaged just 8.4 yards per catch Sunday despite notching a 31-yard reception in the fourth quarter, while fellow receiver Davante Adams corralled seven of 13 targets for 82 yards and a score. Renfrow remains the No. 3 option at wideout for the Raiders ahead of a Week 12 matchup against the Chiefs.
Nov 13, 2023
Targeted once on SNF
Renfrow caught his only target for five yards in Sunday's 16-12 win over the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow played ahead of rookie Tre Tucker in the No. 3 receiver role for the Raiders on Sunday Night Football, but alpha Davante Adams was targeted on nearly half of Aidan O'Connell's 27 pass attempts, hogging 13 looks from the rookie quarterback while Renfrow saw just one opportunity come his way. Renfrow has yet to find the end zone through the team's first 10 games of the season, but Las Vegas could be forced to throw more often as a heavy underdog against the Dolphins in Week 11.
Nov 6, 2023
Notches two receptions in victory
Renfrow caught two passes for 32 yards on three targets in Sunday's 30-6 win over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow's pair of receptions came on back-to-back plays in the second quarter to set up a two-yard touchdown rush for Josh Jacobs, giving the Raiders a two-score lead. Renfrow would ultimately log just 13 offensive snaps, however, while rookie Tre Tucker earned more playing time behind fellow receivers Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers. Despite the departure of former head coach Josh McDaniels, Renfrow's role appears to remain limited ahead of a Week 10 tilt against the Jets.
Oct 31, 2023
Two catches on MNF
Renfrow caught two passes for 19 yards on four targets in Monday's 26-14 loss to the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow was on the field for 28 of the Raiders' 46 offensive snaps as the team played from behind for much of the contest, but he was held to two or less receptions for the eighth consecutive week. If nobody's dealt ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline, Renfrow figures to remain behind Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers in the pecking order at wide receiver against the Giants in Week 9.
Oct 23, 2023
Catches pair of passes Sunday
Renfrow caught two of three targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 30-12 loss to the Bears.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow was credited with a start Sunday, but he ultimately played fewer offensive snaps (24) than rookie receiver Tre Tucker (32). Fellow wideouts Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers also hogged 25 targets between the two, leaving Renfrow little opportunity to produce. Given his diminished role in the Raiders' offense, the veteran slot receiver won't have much more fantasy appeal in Week 8 against the Lions even if Jimmy Garoppolo (back) returns to the lineup.
Oct 10, 2023
One reception in win
Renfrow caught one pass for seven yards on two targets in Monday's 17-13 win over the Packers.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow logged only 19 of a possible 64 offensive snaps while fellow receivers Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers combined for 11 receptions on 14 total targets. With just six catches for 59 yards through the Raiders' first five games, Renfrow's usage remains entirely underwhelming as a home matchup against the Patriots appears next on the schedule.
Oct 2, 2023
Season-high four targets in loss
Renfrow caught two passes for 12 yards on four targets in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow doubled his previous season high in targets with four looks from fill-in starter Aidan O'Connell on Sunday, but the former has caught just five total passes for 52 yards through the Raiders' first four contests. As the offense continues to revolve around Josh Jacobs, Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers, Renfrow's lack of significant production could continue against the Packers in Week 5.
Sep 25, 2023
Targeted twice on SNF
Renfrow caught two passes on as many targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 23-18 loss to the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow logged a season-high 37 offensive snaps despite Jakobi Meyers' return from a concussion, but the former has earned only three total targets through the Raiders' first three contests of the season, resulting in a 3-40-0 line ahead of a Week 4 matchup against the Chargers.
Sep 17, 2023
Can't get going against Bills
Renfrow recorded one reception on one target for 23 yards in Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow was projected to see an increased role in the absence of Jakobi Meyers (concussion) sidelined. That didn't come to fruition, however, as the only Raiders pass skill-position players to receive more than three targets were Davante Adams and Josh Jacobs. After failing to command a target in Week 1, Renfrow seems to face an uphill battle to be a consistent contributor to the offense in 2023.
Sep 15, 2023
Chance to rebound with Meyers out
Renfrow could be poised for a larger role Sunday in Buffalo, as Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports that Jakobi Meyers (concussion) has been ruled out.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was concussed late in the 17-16 Week 1 win over the Broncos after catching nine of 10 targets for 81 yards and two touchdowns, while Renfrow wasn't targeted in that game. Vegas doesn't have much depth at wide receiver, so Meyers' absence should lead to more opportunities for Renfrow in the slot while No. 4 receiver DeAndre Carter could step in on the outside opposite Davante Adams. "Jakobi's a really good football player and, so, if he's not available then everybody has to step up and give themselves great opportunities to produce, and that's a good thing for them," coach Josh McDaniels said, per Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com. Considering Renfrow had a 1,000-yard season in 2021, his track record suggests he's the player most capable of stepping up for the duration of Meyers' absence.
Sep 11, 2023
Not targeted in season opener
Renfrow was not targeted in the Raiders' 17-16 win over the Broncos on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow was not only overshadowed by fellow receivers Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers in the season opener, but the former logged just 13 offensive snaps, and even DeAndre Carter caught a pass on the Raiders' final drive. However, Meyers left the contest late with a head injury, so he'll be subject to the league's concussion protocol ahead of a Week 2 matchup in Buffalo. If Meyers is unable to go, Renfrow could handle a majority of the slot opportunities against the Bills.
Aug 24, 2023
Impressing in training camp
General manager Dave Ziegler said he's "seen a lot of good stuff" from Renfrow (shoulder) during training camp, Anthony Galaviz of The Fresno Bee reports.
ANALYSIS
"It's been great to seen him feel great, playing great and ecstatic to see that development," Ziegler added. Renfrow was the subject of trade speculation earlier in the offseason and has barely been heard from this summer. He and Jakobi Meyers feel redundant as slot receivers, but the Raiders seemingly have a plan. Renfrow's fantasy start-ability is unlikely to return in 2023 if he's in Las Vegas.
Aug 22, 2023
Battling shoulder injury
Renfrow (shoulder) is practicing in a non-contact jersey Tuesday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow has yet to play this preseason due to the shoulder issue. Coming off a down 2022 in new coach Josh McDaniels' scheme, it's unclear what kind of role Renfrow is going to have this season following the additions of Jakobi Meyers and Phillip Dorsett in free agency and Tre Tucker in the third round of the 2023 Draft. Renfrow was the subject of trade rumors earlier in the offseason.
Aug 13, 2023
Won't play Sunday
Renfrow isn't dressed for Sunday's preseason opener against the 49ers, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow is one of the few healthy offensive starters that isn't suited up for Las Vegas' first exhibition. The veteran's next chance to see game action will come Saturday against the Rams.
Aug 1, 2023
Not bothered by rumors
Renfrow has avoided addressing trade rumors and recently said he'd like to prove the Raiders right for re-signing him, ESPN's Paul Gutierrez reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow's 2021 breakout for a 103-1,038-9 receiving line led to a two-year, $32 million extension last summer, with the Raiders' new coach (Josh McDaniels) and general manager (Dave Ziegler) apparently optimistic the slot receiver would continue the success he enjoyed under the previous regime. It didn't work out that way as an oblique injury and concussion cost Renfrow seven games and contributed to an ugly season that he concluded with a career-low 330 receiving yards (barely more than half of his previous low-water mark). The Raiders then signed Jakobi Meyers in March, which led to speculation Renfrow could be traded, though the current plan seems to entail Meyers playing the perimeter more than he did in New England. There's no financial incentive to release Renfrow, as he already received a $4.32 million roster bonus and his $6.5 million base salary is guaranteed. A trade might make sense, but there's theoretically room for both Meyers and Renfrow to see a decent number of targets in a Raiders offense t
Jun 9, 2023
Returns to practice
Renfrow, who left practice early Wednesday with an unspecified issue, participated in Thursday's minicamp session, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
With Renfrow past the concussion and oblique issues that caused him to miss seven games last season, the 27-year-old is in line to work in a Raiders wide receiver corps that also includes fellow returnee Davante Adams, free-agent addition Jakobi Meyers and rookie third-rounder Tre Tucker. There had been some speculation that the slot man might be traded this offseason, but Reed notes that nothing is imminent on that front. As long as Renfrow sticks around, he'll have a chance to bounce back from his subpar stat line (36/330/2 in 10 games) in in 2022 in an offense that is slated to be helmed by Jimmy Garoppolo, provided QB's recovery from a foot injury goes smoothly.
Jan 7, 2023
Perfect effort against Chiefs
Renfrow recorded seven receptions on seven targets for 63 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 31-13 loss to the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow paced the Raiders in catches after commanding seven targets for the second time in his last three games. He made the most of that opportunity and showed strong rapport with Jarrett Stidham by hauling in receptions of 16 and 14 yards to highlight his day. Renfrow also caught his second touchdown of the season on an 11-yard reception midway through the fourth quarter. After breaking out in 2021, Renfrow was limited to only 10 games this season and otherwise saw a sharp downturn in his involvement in the offense thanks to the addition of Davante Adams. Nevertheless, Renfrow will be back with the team in 2023, as he enters the final year of his contract.

Three receptions in overtime loss
Renfrow caught three passes for 19 yards on four targets in Sunday's 37-34 overtime loss to the 49ers.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow was unable to take advantage of the impressive 15.9 yards per completion that quarterback Jarrett Stidham posted in his first career NFL start, while fellow pass-catchers Davante Adams and Darren Waller combined for 225 yards and three touchdowns on 10 receptions. Renfrow has caught just eight of 14 targets in three games since returning from injured reserve, but he could benefit from another pass-friendly game script against the Chiefs in Week 18.
Dec 25, 2022
Reaches end zone Saturday
Renfrow recorded four catches (on seven targets) for 42 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's 13-10 loss at Pittsburgh.
ANALYSIS
The Raiders marched 72 yards on the first drive of the game, capping it with a nifty play by Renfrow to get into the end zone from 14 yards out. Otherwise, this offense more often than not found itself stuck in neutral, with Derek Carr and company totaling just 143 net passing yards. It should be noted that Renfrow's seven targets marked his second-highest mark of the season, so in a unit composed of Davante Adams, Darren Waller and Mack Hollins, Renfrow is a hit-or-miss option, especially with a Week 17 matchup against the 49ers' top-ranked defense on tap.
Dec 20, 2022
Three targets in return
Renfrow caught one pass for 14 yards on three targets in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Patriots. He also returned three punts for 20 yards.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow logged less than 30 of the Raiders' 68 offensive snaps in his return from the oblique injury that landed him on injured reserve for five weeks, and it was fellow slot receiver Keelan Cole that turned in the better fantasy performance as the latter posted two receptions for 50 yards and the game-tying touchdown. However, Renfrow could see his workload increase against the Steelers in Week 16.
Dec 17, 2022
Back from injured reserve
Renfrow (oblique) has been activated from IR ahead of Sunday's game against the Patriots.
ANALYSIS
The return of Renfrow, who last suited up Week 9, will bolster the Raiders' passing attack ahead of the team's last four games. It remains to be seen if he'll log a full workload in his return to action, but once he's up to speed, Las Vegas' slot receiver could log enough targets to merit attention in PPR formats.
Dec 16, 2022
Coach non-committal on Week 15
Coach Josh McDaniels has yet to decided whether Renfrow (oblique) will be activated for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow has been practicing this week after being designated for return from injured reserve, but the coach wants to see how Friday's practice goes before making a decision on Renfrow's status. If Renfrow ultimately suits up against New England, it would be his first appearance since Week 9.
Dec 14, 2022
Designated for IR return
The Raiders designated Renfrow (oblique) to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
With Darren Waller (oblique) also designated for return, the Raiders could have two talented pass catchers back in the lineup for Sunday's game against New England. They'll need to move Renfrow back to the active roster by Saturday in order for him to play, but the designation means he can now practice with his teammates before a decision is made on Week 15 active status.
Nov 30, 2022
Uncertain for Week 14
Coach Josh McDaniel said Wednesday that Renfrow (oblique) is "getting close" but won't necessarily be available when first eligible Week 14 against the Rams, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It's perhaps unfortunate for the Raiders that the play on Thursday the same week Renfrow and Darren Waller (hamstring) both are eligible to return from injured reserve. It does sound like the Raiders expect them to return at some point in December, if not for the Thursday matchup with Los Angeles in Week 14.
Nov 10, 2022
Lands on IR
Renfrow (hamstring/ribs) has been officially placed on IR by the Raiders.
ANALYSIS
The same applies to tight end Darren Waller (hamstring), while TE Foster Moreau along with WRs Mack Hollins, Keelan Cole (knee) and DJ Turner profile as candidate to see added pass-catching opportunities in the coming weeks. Renfrow isn't eligible to return to action before Week 14, when the Raiders face the Rams.
Nov 10, 2022
Ticketed for IR
The Raiders are expected to move Renfrow (hamstring/ribs) to injured reserve Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
While Las Vegas has yet to confirm any transactions, multiple reports indicate that both Renfrow and top tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) will be moved to IR, leaving the two pass catchers unavailable for each of the Raiders' next four games. Assuming that comes to fruition, the Raiders will have had quarterback Derek Carr and the team's top three pass catchers -- Davante Adams, Renfrow and Waller -- on the field for a total of just 43 plays through the first 13 weeks of the season. After the four-game absence, the Raiders will face a quick turnaround for Week 14 with a Thursday matchup against the Rams, so neither Renfrow nor Waller can be viewed as safe bets to make it back to the lineup in the minimum amount of time. Even when he had been able to take the field this season, Renfrow had produced a disappointing 21-192-0 receiving line on 29 targets over six games, so fantasy managers in redraft leagues may be best off moving on from the 26-year-old rather than waiting on his uncertain return.
Nov 9, 2022
Logs limited practice
Renfrow (hamstring/ribs) was limited at practice Wednesday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow wasn't on the Raiders' Week 9 injury report, but the slot man -- who was on the field for 44 of a possible 59 snaps on offense in this past Sunday's loss to the Jaguars -- is now nursing a pair of injury issues ahead of this weekend's game against the Colts. Renfrow now has two more chances to practice fully before Friday's final Week 10 injury report is posted.
Nov 7, 2022
Three receptions in loss
Renfrow caught three of four targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Jaguars. He also returned three punts for 29 yards.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow hasn't been targeted more than four times in a single contest since his Week 5 return from a concussion, catching just 11 total passes for 112 yards throughout the Raiders' past four games. He'll look to find the end zone for the first time all season when Las Vegas hosts the Colts in Week 10.
Oct 30, 2022
Only one catch
Renfrow caught one of two targets for six yards in Sunday's 24-0 loss to the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow's season-low yardage total still topped fellow starter Davante Adams' mere three yards on a day when Las Vegas' passing attack struggled mightily. The veteran slot receiver has seen his production decline this season and remains without a score in his five appearances. Renfrow will strive to bounce back while breaking that drought in Week 9 versus the Jaguars.
Oct 27, 2022
Logs full practice
Renfrow (hip) returned to a full practice Thursday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After turning in a limited session Wednesday, Renfrow logged a full practice Thursday, which puts him in line to serve as the Raiders' top slot man this weekend against the Saints. In this past Sunday's win over the Texans, he was on the field for 32 of a possible 56 snaps on offense while catching all three of his targets for 55 yards. Assuming no in-game setbacks with his hip issue, it wouldn't surprise us to see Renfrow see an uptick in targets Week 8, a context that would boost his PPR prospects.
Oct 26, 2022
Limited practice Wednesday
Renfrow (hip) was limited at practice Wednesday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After missing practice last Thursday due to a hip issue, Renfrow returned to a limited session Friday before suiting up for Sunday's 38-20 win over the Texans. In that contest, the slot man was on the field for 32 of a possible 56 snaps on offense, while catching all three of his targets for 55 yards. With no reported setbacks, it's plausible that Renfrow's listed limitations Wednesday were maintenance-related.
Oct 23, 2022
Modest numbers against Texans
Renfrow caught all three of his targets for 55 yards in Sunday's 38-20 win over the Texans.
ANALYSIS
The Raiders leaned on Josh Jacobs and the defense for four TDs in the rout, and what little passing production there was largely went to Davante Adams, with Mack Hollins also being on the other end of Derek Carr's only touchdown pass. The three targets were a season low for Renfrow, but the slot receiver should be more involved in Week 8 against the Saints.
Oct 23, 2022
Suits up Sunday
Renfrow (hip) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Texans.
ANALYSIS
After missing practice Thursday, Renfrow returned to a limited session Friday, and he'll give it a go Sunday. With top tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) out, the Raiders' slot man is a candidate to see a solid share of looks in the passing game versus Houston, assuming no setbacks with his hip issue. In three games to date, Renfrow has logged 14 catches (on 20 targets) for 105 yards, and assuming he can avoid further injuries in the coming weeks, the 26-year-old should garner enough target volume to yield PPR utility.
Oct 23, 2022
Expected to face Texans
Renfrow (hip), who is officially listed as questionable, is expected to suit up for Sunday's contest against the Texans, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow will likely still have to test himself in a pre-game workout to attain clearance, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, but the Raiders expect him to take the field versus Houston. With Darren Waller (hamstring) already out, and Mack Hollins (heel) looking like a game-time decision, having Renfrow on the field behind Davante Adams would be a major benefit for Las Vegas in this must-win Week 7 matchup.
Oct 23, 2022
Likely game-time decision
Renfrow (hip) will work out pre-game to determine his status for Sunday's matchup against the Texans, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow is officially listed as questionable for Week 7, and while Rapoport notes that there's some optimism about his chances of taking the field, he seems to be a true game-time decision. The same goes for wideout Mack Hollins (heel), so both will need to be monitored ahead of Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. Meanwhile, tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) is already ruled out.
Oct 21, 2022
Questionable for Week 7
Renfrow (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
While Renfrow showed up on Las Vegas' Week 7 injury report Thursday as a non-participant due to a hip issue, he described the development Friday as a precautionary measure, according to Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Renfrow added that he should be OK to play this weekend, but after a limited practice to end the week, his status nonetheless should be monitored ahead of Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff.
Oct 21, 2022
Expected to practice Friday
Coach Josh McDaniels indicated that he expects Renfrow (hip) to practice Friday, Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow missed practice Thursday after practicing fully Wednesday, but a return in any capacity Friday would be an encouraging sign for his status Sunday against the Texans. The slot receiver will likely wind up with an injury designation when the Raiders release their injury report after Friday's practice.
Oct 20, 2022
Added to injury report
Renfrow (hip) didn't practice Thursday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow practiced fully Wednesday, so his addition to the Raiders' injury report Thursday is notable. Friday's final report will indicate whether the team's slot man approaches Sunday's game against the Texans cleared to play or with a Week 7 injury designation. The same applies to top tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) and wideout Mack Hollins (heel).
Oct 11, 2022
Four catches in return
Renfrow recorded four catches on four targets for 39 yards in Monday's 30-29 loss to the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow returned from a two-game absence caused by a concussion. While his stat line doesn't jump out. the Raiders' passing attack largely fell flat aside from a few long touchdowns to Davante Adams. As a result, Renfrow finished second on the team in receptions, and he could be in for a significant role in Week 7 if Darren Waller (hamstring) can't get healthy during the team's bye week.
Oct 8, 2022
Good to go for Monday
Renfrow (concussion) does not carry an injury designation into Monday's game against the Chiefs, Josh Dubow of The Associated Press reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow missed two consecutive games with a concussion, but the slot receiver was able to practice all week signaling his return. Mack Hollins has been a featured target (11-191-1) in Renfrow's absence and likely will still see plenty of snaps, but the Raiders figure to utilize the short-yardage target plenty in what could be an offensive shootout against the Chiefs.
Oct 7, 2022
Logs another full practice listing
Renfrow (concussion) was listed as a full participant in Friday's walk-through practice, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
With consecutive full participation listings under his belt, Renfrow is trending toward a return to action Monday night against Kansas City after having missed his team's last two contests. Saturday's final injury report will clarify whether the Raiders' slot man approaches Week 5 action with an injury designation or fully cleared to play versus the Chiefs.
Oct 6, 2022
Returns to full practice
Renfrow (concussion) practiced fully Thursday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Per Tashan Reed of The Athletic, Renfrow shed his red (non-contact) jersey Thursday and with a full practice listing now under his belt, the Raiders' slot receiver is trending toward a return to action Monday night against Kansas City after having missed his team's last two games.
Oct 6, 2022
On the practice field Wednesday
Renfrow (concussion) was on the practice field Wednesday, Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow, who hasn't played since Week 2, was in a red jersey Wednesday as he remains in the "non-contact phase" of his progression through the NFL's concussion protocol, per coach Josh McDaniels. At this point, Renfrow's status for Monday night's game against Kansas City remains unclear, with Thursday's practice/injury report slated to provide added context with regard to his chances of returning to action in Week 5.
Sep 30, 2022
Won't play Sunday
Renfrow (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
With Renfrow sidelined for a second straight game, Davante Adams, Mack Hollins and Keelan Cole are once again in line to serve as the Raiders' primary options at wide receiver this weekend. In that context, Hollins -- who recorded eight catches on 11 targets for 158 yards and a TD in Week 3 -- should be busy once again this Sunday alongside Adams.
Sep 30, 2022
DNP on Friday
Renfrow (concussion) was a non-participant at Friday's practice, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow has yet to practice since sustaining a concussion on the final play of an overtime loss to the Cardinals. in Week 2 The Raiders may rule him out on their final Week 4 injury report later Friday, like they did last week, especially he doesn't appear to have made any noticeable progress through the protocol for head injuries. Assuming Renfrow is sidelined Sunday, Davante Adams, Mack Hollins and Keelan Cole will serve as Las Vegas' primary options at wide receiver.
Sep 29, 2022
Misses another practice
Renfrow (concussion) remained sidelined at practice Thursday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
With back-to-back practice absences so far this week, Renfrow is looking iffy for Sunday's game against the Broncos. Friday's injury report will reveal whether the slot man heads into the weekend with a chance to return to action after missing the Raiders' Week 3 loss to the Titans. In his absence in that contest, Davante Adams, Mack Hollins and Keelan Cole served as Las Vegas' top three wide receiver options.
Sep 28, 2022
Misses another practice
Renfrow (concussion) remained sidelined at practice Wednesday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow was unable to practice last week before being ruled out for this past Sunday's 24-22 loss to the Titans. The Raiders' top slot receiver now has two more chances to return to the field ahead of this weekend's game against the Broncos. In Renfrow's absence in Week 3, Davante Adams, Mack Hollins and Keelan Cole handled Las Vegas' wide receiver duties.
Sep 23, 2022
Ruled out for Week 3
Renfrow (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Titans.
ANALYSIS
With the Raiders' slot man out Sunday, Tyron Johnson and Keelan Cole are candidates to see added Week 3 receiver reps versus Tennessee behind Davante Adams and Mack Hollins.
Sep 23, 2022
Not practicing Friday
Renfrow (concussion) wasn't seen at the media-access portion of Friday's practice, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow absorbed a big hit that precipitated the game-ending fumble return for a touchdown this past Sunday against the Cardinals. As part of the aftermath, he entered the protocol for head injuries and has yet to practice this week, likely indicating an absence is in his future Sunday in Tennessee. The Raiders may confirm as much when they release Friday's practice report, and if Renfrow is sidelined this weekend, Mack Hollins, Tyron Johnson and Keelan Cole would be in line for additional targets behind top wide receiver Davante Adams.
Sep 22, 2022
Misses another practice
Renfrow (concussion) remained sidelined at practice Thursday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Back-to-back absences from practice put the focus on what Renfrow is able to do during Friday's session and his subsequent injury report listing ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans. If the the Raiders' slot man can't play this weekend, Tyron Johnson and Keelan Cole would be candidates to see added Week 3 receiver reps behind Davante Adams and Mack Hollins.
Sep 21, 2022
Sidelined Wednesday
Renfrow (concussion) didn't practice Wednesday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
In the coming days Renfrow will look to gain clearance to play in Sunday's game against the Titans, but if that doesn't happen, Tyron Johnson and Keelan Cole would be candidates to see added work in the Raiders' Week 3 WR corps behind Davante Adams and Mack Hollins.
Sep 18, 2022
Catches seven passes
Renfrow caught seven passes for 58 yards on 10 targets against Arizona on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
In an ideal world Renfrow would have posted better numbers in this game, which saw Week 1 target hog Davante Adams finish with just two catches for 12 yards and one touchdown on seven targets. Renfrow's 10 targets led the Raiders, and in past cases he's tended to provide better returns, so this was largely a missed opportunity. History says Renfrow will turn his future targets into better production than this, but he'll still need to step up better against the Titans in Week 3.
Sep 11, 2022
Quiet Week 1 showing
Renfrow caught three passes for 21 yards on six targets against the Chargers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The Raiders aggressively fed Davante Adams, giving him 17 of the Raiders' 35 targets and leaving only six each for Renfrow and Darren Waller. The target distribution will probably need to be more even in upcoming weeks, but for now it appears Renfrow might struggle to obtain the target volume necessary to approach his 2021 production. Renfrow is clearly a good player, though, so if the Raiders decide to prioritize him more in the future he'll likely be ready for the call.
Aug 20, 2022
Remains back in Vegas on Saturday
Renfrow (coach's decision) did not make the trip to Miami for the Raiders' 15-13 preseason win over the Dolphins on Saturday night, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow also sat out the Raiders' preseason opener against the Jaguars back on Aug. 4, as well as the victory over the Vikings in the second exhibition. Given his importance to the team's air attack and the fact the likes of Derek Carr and Davante Adams also didn't play Saturday night, Renfrow's third consecutive absence isn't overly surprising. His final chance to suit up before the regular-season opener against the Chargers comes in Friday night's exhibition finale versus the Patriots.
Aug 4, 2022
Sits out preseason opener
Renfrow sat out Thursday's Hall of Fame Game win over the Jaguars, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow, who signed a two-year $32 million extension in June following a breakout 2021 season, joined fellow top pass catchers Davante Adams and Darren Waller (undisclosed), as well as quarterback Derek Carr, on the sideline for Thursday's exhibition opener. The fourth-year pro will still have three more preseason opportunities to ramp up for the regular season, beginning with a Sunday, Aug. 14 clash against the Vikings.
Jun 10, 2022
Inking two-year extension
Renfrow and the Raiders have agreed to terms on a two-year, $32 million contract extension Friday, Kevin Patra of NFL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow was entering the final year of his rookie contract, and his new deal comes following an impressive Pro Bowl campaign in which he racked up 103 catches for 1,038 yards and nine touchdowns on 128 targets. The addition of Davante Adams to Las Vegas' wide receiver corps pairs Renfrow with another of the league's premier route runners. Tight end Darren Waller completes Derek Carr's top receiving trio, and his contract may be next up for the Raiders to address.
Jan 15, 2022
Makes eight catches
Renfrow caught eight passes for 58 yards on 11 targets against Cincinnati on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
The Bengals really made Renfrow a focus of their defensive game plan, making it difficult for the slot receiver to generate his usual level of yardage per target. While Renfrow's season ends with a bit of a thud in this playoff loss, it was a highly impressive breakout season overall for the third-year wideout. Even if he's mostly a slot specialist, Renfrow produced in 2021 at a level that will compel the Raiders to give him a near three-down workload going forward.
Jan 10, 2022
Scores twice in OT win
Renfrow caught four of five targets for 13 yards and two touchdowns while rushing once for a four-yard loss in Sunday's 35-32 overtime win over the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
The Chargers expended extra resources to bottle up the Raiders' top wideout, which helps explain such a low yardage total. Thankfully for his fantasy managers, two of the times Renfrow was able to break free of tight coverage resulted in touchdowns. The 25-year-old experienced a breakout campaign in 2021, finishing with 103 receptions for 1,038 yards and nine touchdowns while playing in all 17 regular season contests. Expect Renfrow to remain one of Las Vegas' top offensive options heading into a playoff matchup against the Bengals.
Jan 2, 2022
Returns to form
Renfrow recorded seven receptions on nine targets for 76 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Colts.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow had seen a significant decline in volume across his last two games, combining to record only eight targets. However, he bounced back in Sunday's win -- though he was still out-targeted by Zay Jones -- posting his seventh performance with at least seven receptions on the campaign. The highlight came on an 11-yard touchdown reception early in the fourth quarter, though it also appeared that he had a 48-yard touchdown later in the game that was ultimately overturned on review. Renfrow also surpassed 1,000 receiving yards with the effort, and he should he maintain a key role as the Raiders' look to sneak into the playoffs with a Week 18 win over the Chargers.
Dec 26, 2021
Finds end zone in win
Renfrow caught all three of his targets for 40 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 17-13 win over the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
The three targets represented the lowest volume of the season for Renfrow, but he still put together a solid fantasy performance thanks to a 10-yard TD reception in the second quarter. The slot receiver is 51 yards shy of his first career 1,000-yard campaign and eight catches short of 100, milestones he'll look to reach in Week 17 against the Colts.
Dec 20, 2021
Just three catches in Week 15
Renfrow caught three of five passes for 32 yards in Monday's 16-14 win over the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow came back down to earth after catching 30 passes over the previous three games, as the Browns made a concerted effort to cover him and make other Raiders receivers beat them. Both of the incomplete passes thrown Renfrow's way were end zone targets. Expect him to regain a larger role in Week 16 against the Broncos.
Dec 17, 2021
Raiders-Browns moved to Monday
Renfrow and the Raiders will no longer play the Browns on Saturday, after the NFL officially rescheduled the matchup between the two teams for Monday at 5 p.m. ET.
ANALYSIS
Due to ongoing COVID-19-related issues within the Cleveland organization, the NFL is hopeful that by delaying the game two days, the Browns will restore enough players from the reserve/COVID-19 list to alleviate depth concerns on the roster. Assuming the Week 15 game is played Monday as planned, Renfrow and Las Vegas will face a quick turnaround for its Week 16 contest versus the Broncos, which is still expected to be played Sunday, Dec. 26 as scheduled.
Dec 12, 2021
Tremendous volume continues
Renfrow recorded 13 receptions on 14 targets for 117 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 48-9 loss to the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow was the lone bright spot for the Las Vegas offense, and he racked up a career-high number of targets and receptions. As has been the case, he didn't do his damage deep, instead settling into soft spots in the defense underneath. The result has been that he's logged at least seven catches in six of his last seven games while also topping 100 receiving yards in each of his last three contests. Renfrow capped his performance with a four-yard touchdown, the Raiders lone trip to the end zone on the day.
Dec 5, 2021
Tops century mark again
Renfrow caught nine of 10 targets for 102 yards in Sunday's 17-15 loss to Washington.
ANALYSIS
The third-year slot man continues to reap the benefits of being the only healthy receiving option Derek Carr trusts, as Renfrow hit triple digits in yards for the second straight game. Even if Darren Waller (knee) is able to return to action, Renfrow should remain very busy in his new No, 1 role against Kansas City in Week 14.
Nov 26, 2021
Career-best day in Dallas
Renfrow caught eight of nine targets for 134 yards in a 36-33 overtime win over the Cowboys on Thanksgiving.
ANALYSIS
He also gained two yards on his only carry. Renfrow was Derek Carr's favorite target on the day, especially once tight end Darren Waller (knee) was forced to exit, and the third-year slot receiver not only set a season high in catches, he established a new single-game personal best in yards while also setting new career highs for receptions (64) and receiving yards (658) on the year, in only 11 games. If Waller misses additional time or isn't 100 percent, Renfrow figures to be Carr's top option again in Week 13 against Washington.
Nov 21, 2021
Four grabs in Sunday's loss
Renfrow caught all four of his targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 32-13 loss to the Bengals. He also added five rushing yards on one carry.
ANALYSIS
The targets and receiving yards were season lows for the slot man, who has taken on a much bigger role in the Raiders' passing game in recent weeks, but the Las Vegas offense simply didn't see a lot of the ball on the afternoon. Renfrow will look to rebound in a Thanksgiving Day clash with the Cowboys.
Nov 15, 2021
Another solid PPR outing
Renfrow (ankle) had seven receptions (nine targets) for 46 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 41-14 loss to the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow paced the Raiders in targets and receptions while turning in a similar performance to last week's solid fantasy line. The talented slot man was limited during practice this week with an ankle injury, but he looked healthy despite the lopsided loss. Renfrow has been one of Derek Carr's favorite targets this season, and he should continue garnering a healthy amount of targets moving forward. The Bengals' 23rd-ranked pass defense is on tap for Week 11.
Nov 11, 2021
Logs full practice Thursday
Renfrow (ankle) practiced fully Thursday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow was limited Wednesday, but his return to a full practice Thursday sets the stage for the Raiders' slot man to suit up Sunday against the 5-4 Chiefs. Through eight games, Renfrow has maintained PPR utility by averaging 5.6 catches (on 7.5 targets) for 56 yards to go along with three TDs. This weekend, he'll square off against a Kansas City defense that has allowed an average of 259.7 yards per game via the air to date.
Nov 10, 2021
Limited by ankle issue
Renfrow (ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow was on the field for 45 of a possible 69 snaps on offense in this past Sunday's loss to the Giants, en route to recording seven catches on nine targets for 49 yards and a TD. So far there's nothing to suggest that the Raiders' slot man is in danger of missing this weekend's game against Kansas City, but Renfrow will presumably need to log a full practice by Friday in order to avoid a Week 10 injury designation.
Nov 7, 2021
Racks up nine targets
Renfrow recorded seven receptions on nine targets for 49 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow finished second on the team behind only Darren Waller in targets, though he was largely limited to short areas of the field. His only reception that went for double-digit yards came on the team's first offensive possession, a drive that he also capped with a two-yard touchdown catch. Renfrow has now logged six or more receptions in five of eight games this season, including four of his last five contests.
Oct 24, 2021
Leads Raiders in catches Sunday
Renfrow caught seven of eight targets for 58 yards in Sunday's 33-22 win over the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
The slot receiver led Las Vegas in catches and targets, although Foster Moreau topped him by two yards for the team lead in that category. Renfrow has been a rock-solid PPR option to begin the season, hauling in at least five passes in six of seven games heading into the Raiders' Week 8 bye.
Oct 18, 2021
Five targets in win
Renfrow hauled in three of five targets for 36 yards in Sunday's 34-24 win over the Broncos. He also returned one punt for five yards.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow posted season lows across the board in targets, receptions and receiving yardage while quarterback Derek Carr attempted just 27 total passes, as the Raiders played with a substantial lead for much of the second half. Renfrow's offensive snap share still eclipsed the 50-percent mark, and he'll continue handling work out of the slot in Week 7 when Las Vegas hosts the Eagles.
Oct 5, 2021
Gets another touchdown
Renfrow caught six of eight targets for 45 yards and a touchdown in Monday night's 28-14 loss to the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow did his usual work on crisp routes underneath, with his touchdown coming on a 10-yard reception to begin the third quarter. That play gave Renfrow a score in consecutive contests, and the 25-year-old have now hauled in at least five passes in every game this season. Despite the presence of Pro-Bowl tight end Darren Waller and lightning-quick deep threat Henry Ruggs, Renfrow remains a security blanket for quarterback Derek Carr, consistently helping the Raiders move the sticks.

Hits pay dirt against Miami
Renfrow caught five of six targets for 77 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-28 overtime win over the Dolphins.
ANALYSIS
Six different Raiders caught between three and five passes and saw between five and seven targets as Derek Carr spread the ball around very effectively, but Renfrow was the only one of the group to get into the end zone as he fought his way through traffic after the catch on a 12-yard TD in the third quarter. The slot receiver has caught at least five passes in three straight games to begin the season, and Renfrow stands a good chance of extending that streak Week 4 in a potential barnburner against the Chargers on Monday night.

Targeted seven times Sunday
Renfrow caught five of seven targets for 57 yards Sunday in the Raiders' 26-17 win over the Steelers. He also returned two punts for 26 yards.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow has yet to find the end zone, but he's recorded 11 total receptions for 127 yards on 16 targets through the first two weeks of the season despite logging less than 30 offensive snaps in Pittsburgh on Sunday. The slot receiver is already pacing the Raiders' WR corps in targets, but quarterback Derek Carr could be forced to rely on Renfrow more often against the Dolphins in Week 3 as cornerbacks Xavien Howard and Byron Jones attempt to blanket Henry Ruggs and Bryan Edwards on the outside.

Catches six passes in Week 1
Renfrow caught six of nine targets for 70 yards during Sunday's 33-27 win over the Ravens.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow finished second on the team in targets and third on the team in receiving yards. He also drew two very critical pass interference calls on two different trips to the red zone. The savvy route runner continues to be a solid contributor, but his upside is limited due to his lack of big plays and red zone targets.
Aug 23, 2021
Rested on Saturday
Renfrow did not play in Saturday's 17-16 preseason win over the Rams as the Raiders also were without fellow wide receivers Henry Ruggs, Bryan Edwards and John Brown.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow's role is essentially solidified as the Raiders' starting slot receiver ahead of Week 1, so the team hasn't risked his health while a majority of the first stringers have been kept to the sideline through two preseason contests. The Clemson product impressed in a joint practice with the Rams last Wednesday, however, reportedly torching All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey on multiple occasions as The Athletic's Vic Tafur noted.

Tallies 56 receptions in Year 2
Renfrow caught three passes for 24 yards on seven targets in Sunday's 32-31 win over the Broncos, bringing his season totals to 56 catches for 656 yards and two scores on 77 targets in 16 games. He also added 265 yards on 23 punt returns with a long of 32.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow's 56 receptions paced the Raiders' corps of wide receivers, which doesn't include tight end Darren Waller nearly doubling the slot man with 107 catches (on 145 targets) of his own. Renfrow, who led the Raiders in red-zone receptions as a rookie, saw his touchdown count sliced in half this season while the aforementioned Waller and Nelson Agholor combined for 17 trips to the end zone. With two years remaining on his rookie contract, Renfrow figures to continue his development in Las Vegas alongside Henry Ruggs (concussion) and Bryan Edwards.

Dynamic as punt returner
Renfrow secured all five of his targets for 34 yards, adding five punt returns for 61 yards during Saturday's 26-25 loss to Miami.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow posted 32 and 19-yard punt returns during the Week 16 defeat, with the former helping Las Vegas to its first touchdown of the contest at the 8:25 mark of the first quarter. The 25-year-old's five targets, meanwhile, tied him for third on the team behind Nelson Agholor and Darren Waller, who each enjoyed significantly more explosive offensive nights with receiving outputs of 155 yards and 112 yards, respectively. Agholor notched the Raiders' lone receiving score of Week 16, while Renfrow carries an eight-game scoring drought into a season finale against the Broncos.
Dec 24, 2020
Good to go this week
Renfrow (concussion) doesn't carry an injury designation for Saturday night's game against the Dolphins after practicing fully Wednesday and Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow, who was forced out of last Thursday's game against the Chargers after just 13 snaps on offense, has thus gained medical clearance to suit up this weekend. While his ceiling in standard fantasy formats is modest, Renfrow retains some utility in PRR leagues, having logged a 48/598/2 stat line through 14 games to date.
Dec 23, 2020
Practices in full
Renfrow (concussion) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
ANALYSIS
The Raiders haven't yet announced that Renfrow is out of the league's five-step concussion protocol, but at the very least the veteran slot man is making tangible progress. He appears to be trending in the right direction for Saturday's home game against the Dolphins.
Dec 22, 2020
Turns in limited practice
Raiders head coach Jon Gruden said Renfrow (concussion) was a limited participant in Tuesday's practice, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow was diagnosed with a concussion after exiting in the second half of the Raiders' Week 15 loss to the Chargers, but his ability to practice in some fashion to begin Week 16 implies progress as he navigates the NFL's five-step protocol for head injuries. The wideout will look to upgrade to full activity and gain clearance from independent neurologist ahead of Saturday's game against the Dolphins.
Dec 17, 2020
Done for the day
Renfrow (concussion) has been ruled out to return to Thursday's game against the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow was evaluated for a concussion late in the third quarter, and it seems as though he's now entered the league's five-step protocol for such injuries. With quarterback Derek Carr (groin) also ruled out for the rest of Thursday's game, backup Marcus Mariota will now also have to make do without his main slot receiver.
Dec 17, 2020
Evaluated for concussion
Renfrow is being evaluated for a concussion and questionable to return to Thursday's game against the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow was forced off the field in the third quarter after suffering a late hit while attempting to bring back a punt. He secured one of two targets for four yards before exiting Thursday's game. With Henry Ruggs (undisclosed) already sidelined on the COVID list, Bryan Edwards and Zay Jones could see increased opportunities if Renfrow can't return.
Dec 15, 2020
Fumbles in defeat to Colts
Renfrow caught five passes for 38 yards on seven targets and returned one punt for 11 yards in Sunday's 44-27 loss to the Colts, but he also lost a fumble.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow's costly fumble came with the Raiders already down two scores in the fourth quarter, ultimately clinching a victory for the Colts. Nonetheless, Renfrow has been dealt six or more targets in three consecutive contests, averaging 5.3 catches per game during this stretch. He'll look to stay busy on Thursday Night Football this week against the Chargers.
Dec 6, 2020
Four catches in Week 13 win
Renfrow caught four of six targets for 47 yards in Sunday's 31-28 win over the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow wasn't heavily involved even though quarterback Derek Carr threw for 381 yards and three touchdowns, as more than half of that production went to tight end Darren Waller. The slot receiver has topped 30 yards in 10 of his last 11 games but has topped 60 yards only twice this season, as his role in the Raiders' offense remains steady but unspectacular ahead of a Week 14 matchup with the Colts.
Nov 29, 2020
Team's top pass-catcher Week 12
Renfrow reeled in seven of nine targets for a team-high 73 receiving yards during Sunday's 43-6 loss to the Falcons.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow was Derek Carr's busiest pass-catcher Sunday, out-targeting tight end Darren Waller by two. That's noteworthy given that Waller entered the game with 83 targets on the season, more than double the amount of Las Vegas' No. 2 option, Renfrow (41). With only one outing of more than 60 receiving yards on the year coming into Sunday, Renfrow had demonstrated a limited ceiling in fantasy. He has a chance at consecutive lucrative outings with a Week 13 matchup against the Jets' 30th-ranked pass defense approaching.
Nov 23, 2020
Tallies two receptions Sunday
Renfrow caught two passes on as many targets for 37 yards in Sunday's 35-31 loss to the Chiefs. He also returned a pair of punts for a total of 11 yards.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow has now recorded at least two receptions in five consecutive games since the Raiders' Week 6 bye, but Nelson Agholor and Darren Waller continue to flash more fantasy upside in the Raiders' aerial attack. Renfrow will hope to take advantage of a beatable Falcons secondary in Week 12 as the Raiders travel to Atlanta.
Nov 15, 2020
Huge return called back
Renfrow caught both of his targets for 30 receiving yards, adding three punt-return attempts for 20 yards during Sunday's 37-12 win against the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow flashed with a 25-yard reception on Las Vegas' opening drive of the afternoon, and he also had an electrifying 29-yard punt return called off because of a holding penalty on teammate Keisean Nixon. The Clemson product added a 16-yard punt return that would stand, rounding out a solid day on special teams. It was a quiet afternoon from the second-year man on the offensive side, as was the case for the entire Raiders passing-catching group, with zero touchdowns being scored via the air and no players exceeding 40 receiving yards. A Week 11 matchup with the defending champion Chiefs calls for a more pass-heavy game script.
Nov 8, 2020
Leading receiver in Sunday's win
Renfrow caught two of three targets for 60 yards in Sunday's 31-26 win over the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
His 53-yard grab in the third quarter set up a Darren Waller touchdown, and wound up making Renfrow the Raiders' leader in receiving yards on the afternoon. The second-year slot receiver isn't getting a lot of volume, seeing four targets or less in five of eight games so far this year, but he's earned the trust of Derek Carr. He could be more involved in Week 10 against a Broncos defense that's been stingier on the ground than through the air.
Nov 1, 2020
Grabs second TD of 2020
Renfrow corralled all four of his targets for 26 receiving yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 16-6 win against the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow has been somewhat of a high-floor option of late, with four or more catches in four of his five appearances since Week 3. The second-year pro has also averaged 50.2 receiving yards per game during that span, hauling in his only TDs of 2020 in Weeks 3 and 8. Renfrow, Henry Ruggs and Darren Waller were the only Raiders with at least four targets Sunday, as the young pass-catching trio now shifts focus to a Week 9 intradivisional clash against the Chargers.
Oct 26, 2020
Targeted six times in loss
Renfrow caught four of six targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 45-20 loss to the Buccaneers.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow was back on quarterback Derek Carr's radar following the team's bye, having been targeted just once in Week 5 at Kansas City. The Clemson product will now face a Browns secondary that just gave up over 400 passing yards in a close win over the Bengals on Sunday.
Oct 12, 2020
Held to one reception vs. Chiefs
Renfrow caught his only target for 42 yards in Sunday's 40-32 win over the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow's 42-yard reception on third and long in the fourth quarter was crucial for the Raiders' upset victory, but the one-catch performance disappointed fantasy managers after he racked up 17 total targets in Weeks 3 and 4. Fellow receiver Bryan Edwards (ankle/foot) has a chance to return Week 7 following the team's bye, but his potential availability might not have much of an affect on Renfrow's workload in the slot.
Oct 5, 2020
Hauls in five passes
Renfrow caught five of eight targets for 57 yards in Sunday's 30-23 loss to the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Aside from an acrobatic 37-yard reception down the sideline late in the contest, Renfrow was held in check despite the absences of fellow receivers Henry Ruggs (knee/hamstring) and Bryan Edwards (ankle). Nonetheless, quarterback Derek Carr has thrown a total of 17 passes at Renfrow throughout the Raiders' past two games, and the slot man could continue to see additional looks if the aforementioned rookie duo remains sidelined in Week 5 at Kansas City.
Oct 2, 2020
Opportunity knocks Week 4
Renfrow looks in line to lead the Raiders' receiving corps during Sunday's game against the Bills, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow is the leading candidate to serve as Las Vegas' No. 1 receiver with Henry Ruggs (hamstring) doubtful and Bryan Edwards (ankle) ruled out. Nelson Agholor and Zay Jones also stand to start in three-wide sets, assuming Ruggs sits out, while Josh Jacobs and Darren Waller could take on even more focal roles on offense. Renfrow had a team-high 84 yards and a touchdown against New England in Week 3, and he should get the opportunity to log another productive day versus Buffalo.
Sep 27, 2020
Finds end zone in loss
Renfrow caught six of nine targets for a team-high 84 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 36-20 loss to New England.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow appeared to have scored a 27-yard touchdown late in the first half but was ruled down on the 1-yard line. He got his touchdown after all from 13 yards out with 1:54 left in the fourth quarter and was the only Raiders receiver to top 50 yards. Darren Waller (knee) and Josh Jacobs (hip) played through injuries, while Henry Ruggs (knee/hamstring) sat this one out and Bryan Edwards left the game with an ankle injury, so Renfrow is Las Vegas' healthiest regular skill position player heading into a Week 4 matchup with the Bills.
Sep 22, 2020
Couple big catches on MNF
Renfrow caught all three of his targets for 37 receiving yards during Monday's 34-24 win against the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow recorded two receptions that spanned 15-plus yards, with one coming on the Raiders' first touchdown drive of the game in the early-second quarter, and the other on Las Vegas' TD drive in the fourth quarter. Tight end Darren Waller completely dominated the pass-catching workload in attracting 16 targets on the night, while not another Raider finished above three. Even with Derek Carr having thrown to a 73.5 percent completion rate and a 4:0 TD:INT, Renfrow has so far been a low-volume option in the passing game. If a breakout performance were to come for Renfrow Week 3 against New England, it may come via red-zone usage, as he finished second on the team in red-zone looks last year with 10.
Sep 13, 2020
Held quiet
Renfrow hauled in two receptions on two targets for a total of 21 yards in Week 1 against Carolina.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow was overshadowed by a number of options in the passing attack, including both Henry Ruggs and Darren Waller. He did manage to haul in both of his opportunities, one for 11 yards and the other 10. Without volume, Renfrow lacks fantasy upside due to his usage primarily in short yardage pass attempts. He and the Raiders will square off against the Saints in Week 2.
Aug 17, 2020
Still the slot man
Though the Raiders added a pair of wide receivers in the 2020 draft, Tashan Reed of the Athletic believes that Renfrow will still man the slot in the team's offense this season.
ANALYSIS
The Raiders added Henry Ruggs the first round and Bryan Edwards in Round 3 of this past April's draft, with an eye toward adding offensive playmakers to complement returnees like Renfrow, Tyrell Williams and Zay Jones, as well as free-agent addition Nelson Agholor. Renfrow, who finished the 2019 season with 49 catches for 605 yards and four TDs in 13 games, will no doubt have plenty of competition for targets this year, but as long as he's the team's preferred slot option, he should be able to retain a decent floor in PPR formats.
Dec 20, 2019
Set to return in Week 16
Renfrow (rib) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Chargers after practicing fully Friday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow, who has missed the Raiders' last three games, is slated to re-join the team's pass-catching and punt return mix Week 16. Prior to suffering his rib injury, Renfrow made a fantasy mark in PPR formats while operating as the Raiders' slot man, compiling a 36-296-2 stat line through 11 contests. He'll look to pick up where he left off against a Chargers squad that has dropped four if its last five outings
Nov 25, 2019
Will miss time
Coach Jon Gruden confirmed Monday that Renfrow suffered a rib injury Sunday that will keep the receiver out for "a while," ESPN's Paul Gutierrez reports.
ANALYSIS
Though Gruden didn't to go into the specifics of the rookie's injury or relay a recovery timetable, he did acknowledge that Renfrow's season may over. Meanwhile, NFL Network reported that the 2019 fifth-rounder suffered a broken rib and punctured lung in Sunday's loss to the Jets. In Renfrow's absence, Gruden indicated that the likes of Keelan Doss and Zay Jones or tight ends Darren Waller and Derek Carrier would be candidates to pick up added snaps out of the slot.
Nov 24, 2019
Leaves game with injury
Renfrow is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the Jets due to a ribs injury.
ANALYSIS
Renfrow exited Sunday's contest midway through the third quarter. The rookie caught three of five targets for 31 yards before leaving the field. As long as Renfrow remains sidelined, Trevor Davis and Marcell Ateman could see increased depth roles.
Oct 6, 2019
Set for bigger role Week 5
Renfrow is a candidate for extra targets in Sunday's Week 5 tilt against the Bears in London with fellow wideouts Tyrell Williams (foot), J.J. Nelson (knee) and Dwayne Harris (ankle) all declared inactive for the contest.
ANALYSIS
The rookie had seen his snap counts trend downward over the last two games, but he's set for a nice bump in workload in London. With the trio of veteran receivers sitting out the contest, the wideout corps will be helmed by Renfrow, Keelan Doss and Trevor Davis, although the trio will be tasked with facing a ferocious Bears defense.
Sep 29, 2019
Added opportunity due to injuries?
Renfrow could be in line for additional targets in a Week 4 tilt against the Colts with fellow wideouts J.J. Nelson (coach's decision) and Dwayne Harris (ankle) declared inactive for the contest.
ANALYSIS
The rookie has had a modest, low-upside role through the first three games, securing nine of 15 targets for 71 yards. However, Renfrow could be in for a boost in targets Sunday due to simple attrition at his position, although he's likely to still be primarily utilized in the possession role he's filled thus far.
