Isaiah Likely Injury News & Updates
Keep up with the latest injuries from the Jets vs Ravens game on Sunday with our National Football League injury report.Nov 17, 2025
Another two-catch effort
Likely had two catches for 15 yards on three targets Sunday against the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Baltimore's passing attack was limited Sunday in Cleveland as Lamar Jackson was held to just 193 yards on 25 attempts. Likely drew just three targets and still hasn't had a game with more than three receptions all year. He also has yet to reach the end zone and has just one red zone target. The Ravens get a softer matchup in Week 12 against the Jets, but Likely's usage does not project favorably for fantasy as long as Baltimore has Mark Andrews healthy.
Nov 13, 2025
Full practice Thursday
Likely (hip) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Likely was limited in practice Wednesday due to a hip issue, but he's already resumed handling full reps and is ready to rock for Sunday's road matchup against the Browns. He's drawn exactly four targets in each of his last two appearances, in which span he's combined for five catches for 77 yards. However, extent of tight end Mark Andrews' involvement in the passing game, and especially the red zone, continues to make Likely difficult to rely on for fantasy purposes.
Nov 12, 2025
Limited practice Wednesday
Likely (hip) was limited at practice Wednesday, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Likely was on the field for 56 percent of the Ravens' snaps on offense in the team's Week 10 win over the Vikings, while catching two of his four targets in the contest for 17 yards. The tight end has two more chances to upgrade his participation level ahead of Sunday's game against the Browns, but Likely's fantasy impact has been modest most weeks, while working in a time-share that has favored fellow TE Mark Andrews.
Nov 11, 2025
Two grabs against Vikings
Likely caught two of five targets for 17 yards in Sundays' 27-19 win over the Vikings
ANALYSIS
Likely had a quiet outing against the Vikings despite seeing a season-high five targets. The 25-year-old tight end played 39 of the Ravens' 65 offensive snaps Sunday, behind Mark Andrews (44) and ahead of Charlie Kolar (30). Likely was unable to score his first touchdown of the season, but Andrews was able to find the end zone on a two-yard pass from Lamar Jackson, his third score in the past two games. Likely continues to be extremely difficult to trust for fantasy purposes heading into a Week 11 matchup against the Browns.
Oct 31, 2025
Season-best yardage total in win
Likely secured three of four targets for 60 yards in the Ravens' 28-6 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
The third-year tight end came into the night with just a 5-26-0 line on five targets over his first four appearances of the season, so Thursday's performance qualified as a breakout effort. More than half of Likely's yardage came via a 35-yard grab on the final paly of the first quarter, and he logged one more target than position mate Mark Andrews on the night. With his first productive game of 2025 under his belt, Likely may be more involved in the offense going forward while working with a now healthy Lamar Jackson.
Oct 29, 2025
Minimal production against Chicago
Likely caught both of his targets for eight yards in Sunday's 30-16 win over the Bears.
ANALYSIS
Likely secured two targets for the second straight game and continued to play a minimal role in the Ravens' offensive attack. The 25-year-old tight end played 36 of Baltimore's 62 offensive snaps Sunday, behind Mark Andrews (37) and ahead of Charlie Kolar (25). Likely has now recorded just five catches for 26 yards through his first four games this season. As long as Andrews is healthy, Likely will have limited upside as a pass catcher and should see inconsistent usage, making him difficult to trust for fantasy purposes. With that said, the return of quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring) should open things up in the passing game and lead to more opportunities for the veteran going forward. Up next for the Ravens is a Week 9 matchup against the Dolphins.
Oct 15, 2025
Records two catches against Rams
Likely secured both of his targets for six yards in Sunday's 17-3 loss to the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Likely's 81 percent offensive snap share was his highest mark of the season in the three games. Additionally, his two targets were the most he's seen through three games. With that said, Likely was unable to get much going as the Ravens' offense continued to struggle without quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring) in the lineup. Though the 25-year-old tight end should continue to split time with Mark Andrews going forward, the possible return of Jackson after the team's Week 7 bye should help Likely to see an uptick in production. Nonetheless, fantasy managers would be wise to take a wait-and-see approach when Jackson returns before putting Likely into their lineups. Following the bye, the Ravens will host the Bears on Oct. 26.
Oct 8, 2025
One grab in loss
Likely secured his lone target for 12 yards in Sunday's 44-10 loss to the Texans.
ANALYSIS
Likely's catch against the Texans on Sunday was his first of the season. The 25-year-old tight end played 23 of the Ravens' 43 offensive snaps, just behind Mark Andrews (25). Andrews led all tight ends in both receptions (2) and targets (3). With Cooper Rush operating as Baltimore's starting quarterback as Lamar Jackson (hamstring) is sidelined, the offense struggled to get much going in the contest. If Rush continues to start, the potential success of all Baltimore pass catches is capped until Jackson returns. With that said, Likely should continue to play significant snaps, but faces an uphill battle for consistent opportunities. The Coastal Carolina product will have his next chance to take a step forward in the Ravens' offense in a Week 6 matchup against the Rams.
Oct 1, 2025
Not targeted in season debut
Likely failed to record a single target in Sunday's 37-20 loss to the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Likely played 25 of the Ravens' offensive snaps Sunday, just behind teammate Mark Andrews (30). In his season debut, the 25-year-old Likely was not a factor in Baltimore's aerial attack, while Andrews saw a team-leading eight targets in the contest. Likely should certainly see his role grow through the air as he gets acclimated into the offense once again, but it remains to be seen how involved he will be in the near future with quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring) possibly missing time. The veteran tight end is a worthwhile stash for fantasy managers going forward with the Ravens' hungry for playmakers in the passing game. Nonetheless, Likely will be difficult to trust in Week 5 when the Ravens host the Texans.
Sep 28, 2025
Active versus Chiefs
Likely (foot) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Likely, who underwent a procedure during training camp to address a small fracture in his foot, missed he Ravens' first three games, but after upgrading to full practice participation Friday, the tight end was deemed questionable for Sunday's contest. In his return to the mix against Kansas City, Likely will bolster a Baltimore TE corps that also includes Mark Andrews -- who is on the heels of recording a 6-91-2 line on six targets Week 3 -- and Charlie Kolar. In that context, it remains to be seen what Likely's volume will be out of the gate, but as the season progresses, there should opportunities for both Andrews and Likely to produce in Baltimore's offense.
Sep 27, 2025
In line for season debut
Likely (foot) is expected to suit up for Sunday's game at Kansas City, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
After missing the first three contests of the campaign due to his recovery from foot surgery, Likely is poised for his first game action since last season following a full practice Friday. His status will be confirmed about 90 minutes before Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, but he likely will play second fiddle to fellow TE Mark Andrews as he eases back in.
Sep 26, 2025
Full practice, but questionable
Likely (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs after being deemed a full practice participant Friday.
ANALYSIS
That Likely upgraded to full participation bodes well for his chances of making his regular-season debut this weekend, but coach John Harbaugh fell short of predicting that Friday, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com, with the coach saying, "he looks good to me. We'll just have to see if it's the best thing for us on Sunday, and we haven't really decided that yet." If Likely is in uniform against Kansas City, he'd bolster a TE corps that also includes Mark Andrews (who logged a 6/91/2 receiving line on six targets in Week 3) and Charlie Kolar, a scenario that doesn't ensure high volume for Likely out of the gate.
Sep 25, 2025
Another limited practice Thursday
Likely (foot) remained limited at practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com, offensive coordinator Todd Monken noted Thursday of Likely, "hopefully we get (him) back this week. He adds another tool for us." The tight end has missed the Ravens' first three games this season while recovering from foot surgery, but his continued ability to practice -- albeit in a limited capacity -- has him trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
Sep 24, 2025
Logs limited listing
Likely (foot) was deemed a limited participant in Wednesday's walk-through practice.
ANALYSIS
Per Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com, coach John Harbaugh said earlier Wednesday that he hopes to have Likely -- who has missed the Ravens' first three games -- back in uniform Sunday against the Chiefs. In such a scenario, Likely would bolster a TE corps that was led in Week 3 by Mark Andrews, who caught all six of his targets for 91 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-30 loss to the Lions on Monday night.
Sep 20, 2025
Not playing Monday
Likely (foot) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Likely will miss a third consecutive contest to begin the campaign as he continues his recovery from foot surgery that he underwent in the early stages of training camp. He was able to string together three limited practices this week, suggesting that his conditioning has improved. In the end, though, Likely will set his sights on a Week 4 showdown at Kansas City for his season debut.
Sep 19, 2025
Remains limited at practice
Likely (foot) practiced in a limited capacity Friday.
ANALYSIS
Likely sustained a foot injury in late July that required surgery and forced him to miss the entire preseason and the first two games of the current campaign. He wasn't placed on injured reserve to begin the season, though, implying that the Ravens believed he'd be able to return at some point in the first four contests. With three consecutive limited listings on injury reports going back to last week, Likely appears to be ramping up to do just that, but Saturday's report will provide insight into his chances to play Monday against the Lions.
Sep 18, 2025
Officially limited at practice
Likely (foot) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Likely is practicing for the second time since he underwent left foot surgery late August, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com, and the Baltimore Banner reports that the tight end said Wednesday his return is coming "very soon." It looks as though Likely could have a chance to make his regular-season debut Monday versus the Lions, though in order to avoid an injury designation for Week 3 he'll almost certainly need to upgrade to full reps at practice Friday and/or Saturday. Once cleared to retake the field, Likely will join Mark Andrews atop Baltimore's tight end depth chart.
Sep 12, 2025
Won't play Sunday
Likely has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Likely was listed as a limited practice participant Friday, which suggests that he's moving in the right direction ahead of the Ravens' Sept. 22 contest against the Lions. In Likely's continued absence, Mark Andrews and Charlie Kolar will handle Baltimore's TE reps this weekend.
Sep 12, 2025
Increasing activity level
Likely (foot) was in uniform and was doing a workout in front of members of the Ravens athletic training and medical staffs Friday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Zrebiec adds that Likely has "definitely upped his activity level," but at this stage it doesn't look like the tight end will be available Sunday against the Browns. In the event that he's officially ruled out later Friday, Likely would then presumably target a potential return to game action Sept. 22 against the Lions.
Sep 11, 2025
Still yet to practice this season
Likely (foot) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice, Brian Wacker of the Baltimore Sun reports.
ANALYSIS
Likely has yet to practice since having surgery to repair a fracture in his foot which he suffered in late July. He's trending toward a second consecutive absence to begin the 2025 campaign. Mark Andrews failed to capitalize on Likely's absence in Week 1, posting only one catch for five yards against the Bills, but Andrews looks set to work as the clear top option among Baltimore's tight ends again when the Ravens host the Browns in Week 2.
Sep 10, 2025
Not practicing yet
Likely (foot) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Per Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site, Likely did work out on a side field again Wednesday, as he continues ramping things up as he bounces back from a broken foot he sustained early in training camp. If Likely remains sidelined Sunday against the Browns, Mark Andrews and Charlie Kolar would continue to lead Baltimore's TE corps, with Zaire Mitchell-Paden a candidate to be elevated from the practice squad, as he was Week 1.
Sep 5, 2025
Won't play Sunday night
Likely (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday night's season opener against the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Likely didn't practice this week, so it's not a surprise that he'll be sidelined versus Buffalo. As for the tight end's status beyond Week 1, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com noted that Likely was running on a side field Friday, which is a positive sign relative to his chances of returning in the next couple of weeks. As long as Likely remains sidelined, however, fellow TE Mark Andrews figures to be busy, with Charlie Kolar also mixing in at the position.
Sep 5, 2025
Still not practicing
Likely (foot) isn't practicing Friday, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
ANALYSIS
That said, Shaffer notes that Likely appears to be ramping things up, with the tight end spotted doing some on-field work Friday with trainers that included light running, but not much hard cutting. Look for Likely to be ruled out for Week 1 action later Friday, but in that scenario the tight end's absence may not linger too long beyond the Ravens' regular-season opener against the Bills.
Sep 4, 2025
Sitting out another practice
Likely (foot) isn't participating in Thursday's practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Likely hasn't been able to practice in any fashion since undergoing surgery on his left foot Aug. 1, and while the Ravens have yet to officially rule him out for Week 1, the 25-year-old looks like a longshot to be available. With Likely expected to be inactive for Sunday's season opener in Buffalo, Charlie Kolar should be in line to see an enhanced role behind No. 1 tight end Mark Andrews.
Sep 3, 2025
Misses another practice
Likely (foot) is not practicing Wednesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Likely has yet to resume practicing since undergoing surgery to address a small fracture in his left foot suffered late July, and though the Ravens still anticipate him returning early in the season, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that he isn't expected to suit up Sunday night on the road against Buffalo. Still, Baltimore's decision not to place Likely on short-term IR, which would rule him out the first four games of the year, is a strong indication that he remains on track to return in September. For at least Week 1, however, Charlie Kolar projects to work as the No. 2 tight end behind Mark Andrews.
Sep 3, 2025
Still expected to return early
Likely (foot) is not expected to suit up for his targeted return date of Week 1, on the road against Buffalo on Sunday, but his recovery is proceeding on track and the Ravens still expect him to be available early in the regular season, Jeremy Brener of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Likely dodged IR to begin the regular season, confirming that Baltimore expects him to miss less than four games before he retakes the field. For at least Week 1, though, Mark Andrews appears in line to handle increased reps as the Ravens' clear top tight end, while Charlie Kolar steps into an expanded backup role. New No. 3 receiver DeAndre Hopkins will also figure to benefit from a slight uptick in target opportunities as long as Likely remains sidelined. Likely didn't practice Monday, but if he can return as at least a limited participant ahead of Sunday's regular-season opener, suiting up Week 2 against the Browns may be in play.
Sep 3, 2025
Not expected to play Sunday
Likely (foot) is not expected to suit up for Sunday's regular-season opener on the road against Buffalo, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Likely, who is recovering from surgery undergone late July to address a small fracture in his left foot, was a non-participant at Monday's practice and does not appear on track to play Week 1. His official injury designation for Week 1 will be disclosed Friday, but at this stage it won't be surprising if he sits out Wednesday's practice as well.
Sep 1, 2025
Not practicing Monday
Likely (foot) didn't participate in Monday's practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hensley previously noted that GM Eric DeCosta said that the Ravens expect Likely -- who suffered a small fracture in his foot in late July -- "back in the early part of the season." It remains to be seen whether a Week 1 return could be in play, but added context regarding Likely's status will be provided no later than Wednesday, when Baltimore's first official practice/injury report of the season is posted.
Aug 27, 2025
Expected back early in season
Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta said Wednesday that he expects Likely (foot) "back in the early part of the season," Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
DeCosta specifically mentioned that Baltimore's decision not to place Likely on IR during roster cuts Tuesday is indicative of the team's expectations that he'll miss less than the requisite four games such a transaction would require. It remains to be seen, though, whether Likely has a chance to suit up Week 1 against Buffalo as he works his way back from surgery undergone late July to address a fracture in his left foot. Baltimore's pass-catchers across the board could see a slight uptick in targets if Likely misses any time, with the primary beneficiaries being starting tight end Mark Andrews and No. 3 man Charlie Kolar, as well as No. 3 wideout DeAndre Hopkins.
Aug 26, 2025
Dodges IR to start year
The Ravens didn't place Likely (foot) on injured reserve Tuesday, keeping him eligible for the first four weeks of the season, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports.
ANALYSIS
Likely hasn't practiced since late July and is considered uncertain for Week 1 after summer surgery, but he apparently has a shot to be ready at some point in September even if he's not cleared for the season opener at Buffalo. An absence could free up more targets and snaps for a slew of teammates, including TEs Mark Andrew and Charlie Kolar and No. 3 receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
Jul 30, 2025
Needs surgery, could make Week 1
Likely (foot/ankle) will undergo surgery this week to address a broken bone in his foot sustained during Tuesday's practice, and he is expected to face a six-week recovery timetable, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Likely has avoided a long-term injury, but his expected recovery timetable will brush up closely against Week 1, with the Ravens set to open the regular season on the road against Buffalo on Sept. 7. In the meantime, Mark Andrews will continue to operate as the Ravens' top tight end, with the potential to handle a higher allotment of snaps early in the season. As he enters Year 4, Likely boasts enough familiarity with Baltimore's offensive scheme to downplay the severity of having to miss the majority of training camp, but it's possible he could have to be ramped up early in 2025 even if he's cleared to suit up Week 1.
Jul 29, 2025
Injures ankle, out a few weeks
Coach John Harbaugh said Likely rolled his left ankle at Tuesday's practice and may miss "a few weeks," Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Likely sustained the injury on a 1-on-1 rep with safety Sanoussi Kane, after which he couldn't put much weight on his left leg and needed a cart to leave the field. Ultimately, Likely will undergo an MRI on Wednesday, which will determine his prognosis. For as long as Likely as sidelined, Mark Andrews will handle his usual allotment of first-team work, while Charlie Kolar, Zaire Mitchell-Paden and Sam Pitz will be the candidates for TE reps beyond the long-time Raven.
Jul 29, 2025
Leaves practice on cart
Likely (foot/ankle) was carted off the field near the end of Tuesday's practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Per Giana Han of TheBaltimoreBanner.com, Likely was grabbing his left foot/ankle while punching the ground following a 1-on-1 rep with safety Sanoussi Kane. Likely then wasn't able to put much weight on his left leg as he made his way to team facilities. The severity of the injury won't be known until the fourth-year tight end undergoes testing.
Jan 19, 2025
Stellar showing in playoff defeat
Likely brought in four of five targets for 73 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 27-25 divisional-round loss to the Bills on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Likely led the Ravens in receiving yards on the evening while delivering a spectacular diving touchdown reception with 1:33 remaining to bring Baltimore within a two-point conversion of tying the Bills and likely forcing overtime. Prior to that, the third-year pro posted 39- and five-yard grabs on the Ravens' opening possession to help set up the first touchdown of the game. Likely recorded 126 receiving yards over Baltimore's two-week postseason run following a regular season during which he generated a career-best 42-477-6 line on 58 targets across 16 games. Likely is due to play out the final year of his rookie contract in 2025, but the combination of his ascension this past season and Mark Andrews' age should result in the former receiving an offer for an extension this offseason.
Jan 12, 2025
Leads team with 53 yards
Likely had three receptions on four targets for 53 yards in Saturday's 28-14 playoff win over Pittsburgh.
ANALYSIS
Likely finished as Baltimore's leading receiver with just three receptions in a run-heavy game script Saturday. The talented backup failed to bring in either of Lamar Jackson's two touchdown passes, resulting in a modest fantasy line. Likely will continue playing second fiddle to veteran starter Mark Andrews (four touches for 32 yards vs. PIT) as the Ravens advance to face either the Bills or Chiefs in the divisional round.
Jan 4, 2025
Gains 38 yards Saturday
Likely caught three of five targets for 38 yards in Saturday's 35-10 win over the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Likely finished third in targets for the Ravens on Saturday while tying his highest yardage total since Week 13. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, the talented backup failed to hit pay dirt which ended his touchdown streak at two games. Likely finishes the regular season with new career bests in receptions (42), receiving yards (474) and touchdowns (six). The Ravens will now prepare for either the Chargers or the Steelers in the wild-card round of the playoffs.
Dec 25, 2024
Maximizes one catch Wednesday
Likely secured his only target for a nine-yard touchdown in the Ravens' 31-2 win over the Texans on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Likely found the end zone for the second time in four days on his late second-quarter scoring grab. The second-year tight end hasn't eclipsed 38 receiving yards in five straight contests, but he's capable of emerging in the Ravens' highly efficient and versatile offense in any given game.
Dec 21, 2024
Finds end zone in win
Likely caught all three of his targets for 29 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 34-17 win over the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Both Ravens tight ends got into the end zone Saturday, with Likely opening the scoring in the first quarter with a nine-yard reception. The third-year player set new career highs in receptions (38) and receiving yards (430) with the performance, and his five TDs on the season ties the career high he set in 2023. Likely hasn't reached 40 yards in four straight games however, making him a TD-dependent fantasy option in a Week 17 matchup against the Texans.
Dec 16, 2024
Makes two grabs Sunday
Likely caught both of his targets for 17 yards in Sunday's win over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Likely's usage dropped back off Sunday after he drew eight targets in Baltimore's last game before the bye. He continues to play a healthy snap-share as he has been on the field for over halt the snaps in each of the last three games, but his usage in the passing game is inconsistent. The Ravens have a pivotal home game against the Steelers in Week 16. In Likely's last outing against Pittsburgh, he caught four of five targets for 75 yards.
Dec 1, 2024
Bounces back with trip to end zone
Likely had five receptions (eight targets) for 38 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-19 loss to Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
Likely responded well from his zero-catch outing against the Chargers last week, posting his fourth touchdown reception of the season against the Eagles on Sunday. Starter Mark Andrews produced the finer fantasy line (6-67-1) while Likely still helped managers who stuck with him following the aforementioned dud against Los Angeles. Likely should be a viable fantasy option in deeper formats when the Ravens return from the upcoming bye to face the Giants on Dec. 15.
Nov 27, 2024
Not targeted in win
Likely failed to record a single target in Monday's 30-23 win over the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Likely was held without a catch for just the second time this season as the 24-year-old continued what has been a mostly disappointing season after a hot start back in Week 1 against the Chiefs. Meanwhile, fellow tight end Mark Andrews produce a solid performance Monday, catching all five of his targets for 44 yards and a touchdown. Likely did, however, lead all Baltimore tight ends in playing time, as he was on the field for 35 of the Ravens' 65 offensive snaps. Andrews and Charlie Kolar finished with 27 and 32 snaps, respectively. With Andrews more involved in the passing game as the season has progressed, Likely has lost most of his fantasy utility within the Ravens' aerial attack. Barring injuries, the Coastal Carolina product should not be trusted for consistent fantasy production going forward. The Ravens are set to host the Eagles in Week 13.
Nov 17, 2024
Leading receiver in loss
Likely caught four of five targets for 75 yards in Sunday's 18-16 loss to the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
The third-year tight end led the Ravens in receiving yards and tied Justice Hill for the team led in catches, as the Steelers' defense focused on shutting down the deep passing game. Likely had missed last week's win over the Bengals due to a minor hamstring strain, but he appears fully healthy and will look to make an impact again in Week 12 against the Chargers.
Nov 15, 2024
All clear to face Steelers
Likely (hamstring) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Likely will return from a one-game absence due to a hamstring injury. After being a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Likely practiced without limitations Thursday and Friday. While Likely's healthy, he will likely continue to cede most of the targets among Ravens tight ends to Mark Andrews, which had usually been the case in the weeks leading up to Likely's injury.
Nov 14, 2024
Practices fully Thursday
Likely (hamstring) was a full practice participant Thursday.
ANALYSIS
The full session should clear the way for Likely to return to action Sunday in Pittsburgh after he sat out the Ravens' Week 10 win over the Bengals due to the hamstring injury. His absence last week freed up a larger role in the passing game for top tight end Mark Andrews (6-68-1 receiving line on seven targets), but the expected return of Likely in Week 11 will presumably lower Andrews' fantasy ceiling. As for Likely himself, he's failed to come close to matching his lofty production in the Ravens' loss to the Chiefs in Week 1, when he caught nine balls for 111 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets. In his subsequent eight appearances combined, Lively has been contained to a 15-160-2 line on 22 targets.
Nov 13, 2024
Limited in return to practice
Likely (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Likely didn't practice last week and ended up missing a 35-34 win over the Bengals on Thursday. It was his first absence of the season, and a return to practice Wednesday suggests he has a shot to make it back for Sunday's game at Pittsburgh.
Nov 13, 2024
Back at practice Wednesday
Likely (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Likely missed last Thursday night's thrilling win over the Bengals, but the extended time off appears to have done him some good. With Likely sidelined last week, Mark Andrews played a season-high 87 percent of the offensive snaps and drew a season-best seven targets in the passing game, finishing with a 6-68-1 receiving line. Likely's return would be a ding to Andrews' fantasy stock and again make this a three-man tight end group, including Charlie Kolar.
Nov 12, 2024
Not practicing yet
Likely (hamstring) wasn't on the field Tuesday for the Ravens' practice session, Giana Han of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Likely hasn't practiced in any fashion since tweaking his hamstring in the Ravens' Week 9 win over the Broncos. The Ravens will have three more practices this week, and Likely will need to get back on the field in some capacity Wednesday through Friday to have a chance at returning from a one-game absence Sunday against the Steelers.
Nov 6, 2024
Ruled out for Thursday
Likely (hamstring) won't play Thursday night against the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
Likely was listed as a 'DNP' over the last three days, and he'll sit Thursday's game out and target a potential return to action Nov. 17 against the Steelers. In his absence, Mark Andrews is slated to lead the Ravens' TE corps versus Cincinnati, with Charlie Kolar also mixing in.
Nov 5, 2024
Sidelined for practice Tuesday
Likely (hamstring) wasn't on the field for Tuesday's practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Likely had been previously listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report, and with Tuesday being the Ravens' only full practice before Thursday's matchup with the Bengals, the tight end looks to be at real risk of missing his first game of the season. The injury may explain why Likely was held to a season-low 31 percent snap share in the Ravens' Week 9 win over the Broncos. If Likely were to sit out Thursday's contest, Mark Andrews and Charlie Kolar could see increased reps, and fullback Patrick Ricard -- who caught a three-yard touchdown in Week 9 -- could also see the field more frequently as a blocker.
Nov 4, 2024
Listed as DNP on Monday
Likely (hamstring) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Ravens merely held a walkthrough Monday. It's a new injury for Likely, who had yet to miss a single practice rep all season through nine weeks. The Ravens have a quick turnaround this week ahead of a Thursday night date with the Bengals. If Likely is unable to go, Mark Andrews and Charlie Kolar would handle tight end duties, and Baltimore could opt to use more three-wide sets with Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and newcomer Diontae Johnson.
Oct 28, 2024
Best game since opener
Likely caught all four of his targets for 47 yards in Sunday's loss to the Browns.
ANALYSIS
This was Likely's highest catch and yardage output since his eye-opening season opener against the Chiefs. Though Likely didn't cash in a touchdown, he was still efficient as he caught everything thrown his way on a strong 12.0 YPT clip. His best catch came on a 25-yard gain that set up an eventual touchdown to Mark Andrews in the third quarter. Likely is up to 24 catches for 271 yards and three touchdowns on 33 targets this season and draws a matchup against the Broncos in Week 9.
Oct 23, 2024
Two grabs in Week 7
Likely caught two of four targets for 17 yards in Monday's 41-31 win over the Buccaneers.
ANALYSIS
Despite leading all Baltimore tight ends in offensive snaps (35), Likely was not much of a factor in the Ravens victory of the Buccaneers on Monday night. Teammate Mark Andrews, however, had his first big game of the season, catching all four of his targets for 41 yards and two touchdowns. The 24-year-old Likely caught just two passes for the second-straight week, and it is possible he could see his role in the offense continue to be diminished by Andrews' possible rise to his former production levels. Nonetheless, Likely is extremely difficult to trust for fantasy purposes heading into a Week 8 matchup against the Browns.
Oct 14, 2024
Sees four targets Sunday
Likely had two catches for 27 yards on four targets Sunday against the Commanders.
ANALYSIS
Likely came back to earth Sunday after nabbing two touchdowns against the Bengals in Week 5. He actually saw his highest target volume since Week 1 but it only amounted to two catches and 27 yards. It's encouraging that Likely played significantly more snaps (46) than Mark Andrews (34) but Andrews had his best pass-catching performance of the season and could start commanding a bigger share of the targets going forward. Still, Likely has promising peripheral metrics for targets per route (25.8%) and yards per route run (2.13), and with tight end production down league-wide, he actually ranks as TE5 in total fantasy points this season.
Oct 6, 2024
Pops for two TDs against Cincy
Likely caught all three of his targets for 13 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 41-38 overtime win over the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
Lamar Jackson threw four TDs on the day and three of them went to tight ends, including short scoring tosses to Likely in the third and fourth quarters. The third-year player has three touchdowns on only 16 catches through five games, and he hasn't seen more than three targets in a contest since his career-high 12 in Week 1 against Kansas City. Likely will remain a TD-dependent fantasy option in Week 6 against the Commanders.
Sep 30, 2024
Limited usage again
Likely had one catch for 26 yards on two targets in Sunday's win over the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Likely's usage continues to be a fraction of what it was in the season opener when he drew 12 targets. He made a splash with his lone catch Sunday night with an impressive leaping grab for a 26-yard gain that was Baltimore's longest completion of the night. Likely is playing a healthy snap-share at 60 percent over the first four games. However, Baltimore has gone to a more run-heavy approach of late and is mixing and matching its tight-end personnel. This development is not only limiting Likely's chances but the entire group of pass catchers as a whole. The Ravens have attempted fewer than 20 passes in each of the last two games, both of which were wins. Likely and the Ravens head to Cincinnati to face the Bengals in Week 5.
Sep 24, 2024
Frustrating usage again
Likely had one catch for four yards on one target in Baltimore's win against the Cowboys on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The last two weeks have been a far cry from Likely's electric season opener when he caught nine passes for 111 yards. Likely has combined for three catches for 30 yards over the last two weeks and has drawn just four targets. Baltimore's game plan was unexpected in general, as Likely and Charlie Kolar played more snaps than Mark Andrews. Likely paced the tight end group with a 62 percent snap share, but that's hardly a consolation for fantasy managers. Baltimore won't go to the air just 15 times most weeks, so this should be an anomalous stat line for Likely. Still, it's difficult to square Baltimore's pass-catching rotation after three very different game plans through the first three weeks.
Sep 15, 2024
Mostly silent in Week 2
Likely gathered in two of three targets for 26 yards during Sunday's 26-23 loss to the Raiders.
ANALYSIS
After breaking out with a 9-111-1 line on 12 targets during a season-opening defeat at Kansas City, Likely had far less sway in the Ravens offense a week and a half later, tying for fourth on the team in targets behind WRs Zay Flowers (11) and Rashod Bateman (four) and fellow TE Mark Andrews (five). Likely wasn't looked at by QB Lamar Jackson until the second quarter, and his last two targets had to wait until the fourth period. Managers may have to ride the seesaw that is Likely this season, with his next chance to bounce back next Sunday in Dallas.
Sep 6, 2024
Stellar night spoiled by inches
Likely brought in nine of 12 targets for 111 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 27-20 loss to the Chiefs on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Likely was the surprise leader in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the night for either squad, outperforming both teammate Mark Andrews and Travis Kelce as the standout tight end in the opener. Likely's night would have been that much more memorable had he been able to keep his right toe from landing slightly out of the back of the end zone on a spectacular would-be touchdown grab as time expired in regulation, a play that would have resulted in a potential game-tying or game-winning opportunity for Baltimore. Likely had already recorded a 49-yard touchdown on the first play of the fourth quarter where he'd eluded two defenders on his way to the end zone, and it appears he's set to continue in at least a version of the expanded role he enjoyed in the latter portion of last season when Andrews was sidelined. Likely will look to build on the breakout Week 1 effort in a road battle versus the Raiders on Sunday, Sept. 15.

Impresses throughout OTAs
Likely was one of Baltimore's standouts during spring practices, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
With Rashod Bateman positioned as their No. 2 WR and Nelson Agholor the No. 3, the Ravens may often prefer passing from two-TE formations using Likely and Mark Andrews together. Even if that's the case, Likely will have a hard time drawing enough targets to be a fantasy starter when Andrews is healthy, especially because Baltimore also has FB Patrick Ricard taking some skill-position snaps. Likely caught nine passes through his first 11 games last year, before exploding for a 21-322-5 receiving line over the final six weeks of the regular season (28 targets) while Andrews was out with a leg/ankle injury. If nothing else, Likely should be a functional fantasy starter in the event Andrews misses games again.
Feb 20, 2024
Arrow pointing up after Year 2
Likely finished his second season with 30 catches for 411 yards and five touchdowns on 40 targets. He added four catches for 50 yards and a touchdown in two postseason games.
ANALYSIS
Though Likely's target count dropped from 60 to 40 despite Mark Andrews' lengthy absence, his counting stats and efficiency both ticked up significantly. He bumped his catch rate from 60 percent to 75 and his yards-per-target mark from 6.2 to 10.3 while topping his rookie totals for receiving yards and touchdowns. Those are impressive steps forward for the second-year tight end. Though Andrews is still a major factor in this passing game when healthy, Likely is overqualified to be a traditional No.2 tight end. Baltimore's receiving corps is still a work in progress beyond Zay Flowers, so it will be interesting to see how free agency and the draft transpire in Charm City. Likely has downfield ability and plenty of experience working from the slot (231 of 567 snaps in 2023) so his role should expand in his second year in the Todd Monken scheme.
Jan 20, 2024
Catches touchdown against Texans
Likely recorded two receptions on three targets for 34 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 34-10 win over the Texans.
ANALYSIS
The Ravens passed the ball only 22 times, limiting the volume for pass catchers in the offense. Despite having relatively few opportunities to impact the game, Likely accounted for the team's third-longest play from scrimmage with a 19-yard catch in the third quarter and subsequently caught a 15-yard touchdown in the final quarter of the contest. With the performance, he now has six touchdowns in his last six games. Even if Mark Andrews (ankle) returns, Likely shouldn't completely disappear from the offense in the AFC Championship Game against either the Bills or Chiefs.
Jan 6, 2024
Another TD in Week 18
Likely hauled in both of his targets for 31 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 17-10 loss to the Ravens.
ANALYSIS
Likely continued his recent tear with a 27-yard catch and run in the second quarter for his fifth touchdown over his last five contests. The late-season standout produced the best fantasy line for Baltimore despite finishing in a tie for last place with just two targets in the loss to Pittsburgh. Likely has generated 17 receptions off of 20 targets with 282 yards and five scores while replacing injured starter Mark Andrews (ankle). The latter is still eyeing a potential return from IR during the Ravens' upcoming playoff run, which will begin on either Jan. 20 or Jan. 21 for the AFC divisional playoffs. Likely has proven in recent weeks that he can produce usable fantasy numbers on low target totals, but he would still take a considerable hit in value if and when Andrews returns.
Dec 31, 2023
Two big touchdowns Sunday
Likely caught two passes for 42 yards and two touchdowns on three targets in Sunday's 56-19 win over the Dolphins.
ANALYSIS
Likely's three targets might look like low usage at a glance, but the Ravens had a big enough lead that they were rotating in backups in the fourth quarter, and if the game had been more closely contested the Ravens might have had more reason to go back to Likely. Two touchdowns on three targets will usually do the trick, though, and there's no doubt that Likely's two touchdowns -- especially his one-handed catch and run for a 35 yards -- were both game-breaking plays for the Ravens. Likely's rare ball skills and slick running after the catch have made him a crucial part of the Ravens' breakout offense over the last two weeks. As long as Lamar Jackson is producing, Likely figures to be in a good spot going forward almost no matter the opponent.
Dec 26, 2023
Racks up 56 yards
Likely recorded three receptions on four targets for 56 yards in Monday's 33-19 win over the 49ers.
ANALYSIS
Likely finished tied for second on the team in targets and second in yards, but he narrowly missed out on a bigger game when he was tackled at the one-yard line early in the second quarter -- a drive that was finished on the next play by Gus Edwards. Likely later delivered a 34-yard reception to help set up a field goal to account for the majority of his production, and he now has a catch of more than 20 yards in the three consecutive contests. He's also topped 50 yards in every game in that span.
Dec 17, 2023
Leading receiver in Week 15 win
Likely caught five of six targets for 70 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-7 win over the Jaguars.
ANALYSIS
Likely scored a 16-yard touchdown with 1:12 left in the first half before setting up a second-half Gus Edwards touchdown run with a 26-yard catch down to the 4-yard line. After opening the season on a 12-game touchdown drought, Likely has scored in each of Baltimore's last two games. He'll likely operate as Baltimore's top tight end for the rest of the regular season and possibly beyond while Mark Andrews (ankle) recovers. Likely has 14 catches on 19 targets for 193 yards and two touchdowns in three games since Andrews went down, and he'll look to keep rolling in Week 16 against the 49ers on Monday Night Football.
Dec 10, 2023
Breaks out against Rams
Likely recorded five receptions on seven targets for 83 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 37-31 win over the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Likely started his second game in the absence of Mark Andrews (ankle), and he delivered season-best marks in every statistic. The majority of his production came on a 54-yard touchdown reception late in the first quarter, on which he went in motion and was completely lost by the defense as he streaked wide-open down the sideline. While Odell Beckham and Zay Flowers will be prioritized in the offense, Likely should keep a consistent role for the rest of the regular season.
Nov 27, 2023
Six targets as starter
Likely recorded four receptions on six targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 20-10 win over the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Likely took over the top tight end role in Baltimore in the absence of Mark Andrews (ankle). He finished second on the team with six targets, and he paced all Baltimore pass catchers in yardage. Likely should remain significantly involved in the offense moving forward, though he's likely to cede volume to the likes of Zay Flowers and Odell Beckham depending on the context of a given matchup.
Nov 17, 2023
Set for increased role
Likely will become a significant piece of Baltimore's offense after Mark Andrews (ankle) suffered a long-term injury in Thursday's 34-20 win over the Bengals, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Likely has had a limited impact in his second NFL season, tallying only nine catches across 11 games. He entered Thursday's game against the Bengals with just 170 offensive snaps, though his usage will certainly increase moving forward. Likely showed some potential as a pass catcher in his rookie year, racking up four catches of 20 or more yards while also topping 100 receiving yards in Week 18.
Oct 17, 2023
Light role once again Week 7
Likely played 17 snaps on offense and wasn't targeted Sunday in the Ravens' 24-16 win over the Titans in London.
ANALYSIS
Since taking on a 71 percent snap share in the Ravens' Week 1 win over the Texans while Mark Andrews was sidelined, Likely has predictably faded back into a smaller role on offense. He's played fewer than one-third of the Ravens' snaps on offense in five consecutive games and has gone without a target on each of the past three contests.
Oct 3, 2023
No targets Sunday
Likely did not draw a target on 14 snaps Sunday against the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Likely's role continues to diminish with Mark Andrews back in the fold and the Baltimore offense deploying fewer two tight end sets. His snap count has dropped every week since Week 1 and Sunday marked the first time that he failed to draw a target this season. Fellow tight end Charlie Kolar didn't play, either, so it's not as if Likely is losing playing time to another tight end. Instead, it appears that it's Mark Andrews or nothing as far as tight ends go in the new Baltimore offense.
Sep 25, 2023
Costly drop in loss
Likely had one reception for 20 yards on two targets in Sunday's loss to Indianapolis.
ANALYSIS
Likely continues to struggle to make an impact and there are concerning trends in regards to his role. While his two targets marked a season-high, Likely's snap count fell under 20 and has decreased each week since the season began. Likely also had a costly drop late in the game that could have extended a Baltimore drive. Baltimore's new offense has not been as inclined to use two-tight-end sets as it was in the past, and with Mark Andrews now healthy, the room for Likely to produce is shrinking. Baltimore travels to Cleveland to face the Browns in Week 4.
Sep 20, 2023
Catches one pass in win
Likely secured his only target for eight yards in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
Likely operated as the Ravens' primary backup tight end Sunday with Mark Andrews making his 2023 debut. The 23-year-old took the field for just 25 of Baltimore's 75 offensive snaps and, as expected, was not an important part of the team's offensive game plan. With Andrews healthy, Likely should remain off the fantasy radar when the Ravens host the Colts in Week 3.
Sep 17, 2023
Headed back to backup role
Likely is set to move into a reduced role Sunday against the Bengals with Mark Andrews (quadriceps) listed as questionable but on track to make his season debut, Glenn Erby of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Barring any late setbacks with his injured quad leading up to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, Andrews should start at tight end and see a typical workload after he closed the week as a full practice participant. While Andrews was sidelined for the Week 1 matchup with the Texans, Likely couldn't take advantage of the favorable matchup against a weak opponent along with a big bump in playing time. Despite taking the field for 41 of the Ravens' offensive plays (71 percent share), Likely managed just a four-yard reception on his lone target.
Sep 11, 2023
Comes up short in start
Likely caught his lone target for a four-yard gain in Sunday's win over the Texans in Week 1.
ANALYSIS
With Mark Andrews (quad) sidelined, Likely was expected to step into a larger role in the season opener. Likely logged 71 percent of the offensive snaps and yet he drew just one target. Likely was the lone Ravens tight end to play significant snaps as Charlie Kolar only played 13 snaps on offense. Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson leaned on his receiving corps as Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and Odell Beckham comprised the bulk of the target volume. Andrews' status for Week 2 is uncertain at this stage, so Likely could be in line for significant playing time once again. Still, Sunday's outing shows that Likely is not a lock for target volume even if he's playing a high snap count.
Sep 10, 2023
Filling in for Andrews
With fellow tight end Mark Andrews (quadriceps) inactive for Sunday's season opener against the Texans, Likely is in line to serve as the Ravens' top tight end in Week 1.
ANALYSIS
Andrews will thus target a potential return next weekend, but in Baltimore's season opener, Likely has a chance to see enough snaps and targets to yield fantasy utility. In that context, the 2022 fourth-rounder profiles as a streaming option, as well as a lineup fill-in for those impacted by Andrews' absence.
Sep 9, 2023
Expects to see bigger role
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Mark Andrews (quadriceps) is expected to be sidelined for Sunday's season opener against the Texans, which would leave Likely as the No. 1 tight end.
ANALYSIS
It looks like the Ravens are going to err on the side of caution with Andrews in Week 1, but that has not officially been confirmed. That means Likely would likely see an increased workload as Baltimore's No. 1 tight end. He started two games during his rookie campaign when Andrews was sidelined and recorded 127 yards and one touchdown on nine receptions in the process.
Aug 17, 2023
Returns to practice
Likely (undisclosed) was able to practice Thursday, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Likely was believed to be dealing with a contusion, although specifics of it were not available. Ultimately though, the second-year pro's quick recovery and return to the field is good news for the Ravens. The 23-year-old generated buzz with his preseason performance last season, which carried over to a modest contribution of 36 catches for 373 yards and three touchdowns in his rookie campaign. He'll continue to work to earn a larger role in Baltimore's passing game in his sophomore season.
Aug 16, 2023
Misses practice
Likely (undisclosed) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, Likely is dealing with a contusion and could be back later this week or next week. Assuming no further setbacks, come Week 1 Likely is slated to continue to work behind top tight end Mark Andrews. In 16 games last season, the 2022 fourth-rounder caught 36 passes (on 60 targets) for 373 yards and three TDs. As long as Andrews is available, Likely's fantasy upside is modest, but the 23-year-old does offer streaming appeal in the event that Andrews misses time for any reason.
Jan 8, 2023
Huge volume in Week 18
Likely recorded eight receptions on 13 targets for 103 yards in Sunday's 27-16 loss to the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
Likely moved up the depth chart with Mark Andrews (coach's decision) sidelined for Week 18. He quickly emerged as Anthony Brown's favorite target, and he showed the ability to capitalize by racking up 7.9 yards per target. The highlights of his performance came on a pair of receptions of 28 and 22 yards, respectively. Andrews will almost certainly be back on the field for Baltimore's wild-card round matchup against the Bengals, though Likely has shown the ability to contribute as the second tight end in the offense.
Jan 2, 2023
Cashes in short score
Likely caught three of five targets for 12 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 16-13 loss to Pittsburgh.
ANALYSIS
Likely team up with fellow tight end Mark Andrews (9-100-0) to provide nearly all of the Ravens' receiving output Sunday (130 total passing yards). The rookie was the beneficiary of Tyler Huntley's lone passing touchdown, with the veteran taking care of the heavy lifting between the end zones. Likely hasn't topped 18 receiving yards in any of the four games Huntley has started, but he would receive a boost in projections if Lamar Jackson (knee) is able to return from injury to face the Bengals in Sunday's regular season finale.
Dec 20, 2022
Another quiet showing
Likely had two receptions on three targets for 18 yards in Saturday's 13-3 loss to the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Likely once again took the backseat to fellow tight end Mark Andrews, as the latter saw 30 more offensive snaps in Week 15 compared to the rookie. With wide receiver Devin Duvernay having suffered a potentially-significant injury during Tuesday's practice, Likely could be more involved in Baltimore's passing game down the stretch if Duvernay indeed misses time. The Ravens are now scheduled to host the Falcons on Saturday.
Dec 12, 2022
No targets against Steelers
Likely was not targeted on 16 snaps Sunday against the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
In fairness to Likely, his chances of producing Sunday were slim with Baltimore starting Tyler Huntley at quarterback and his chances got slimmer the Ravens had to turn to undrafted rookie Anthony Brown to lead the offense. Baltimore attempted 17 passes on the day and only five passes after Huntley (concussion) went out. Likely drew four targets on 18 snaps against Denver in Week 13 with Huntley at the helm for the majority of the game. If the Ravens have to start Brown in Week 15 against Cleveland, it could be a very run-heavy game plan that would not lead to a high volume of opportunities for Likely.
Dec 6, 2022
Efficient outing Sunday
Likely caught all four of his targets for 30 yards Sunday against the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
The rookie returned from a one-game absence Sunday and turned in one of his more efficient outings of the season. It marked the third time this season he caught every target. Likely seemed to have a solid rapport with Tyler Huntley after he came in for the injured Lamar Jackson (knee). Still, Mark Andrews, Demarcus Robinson and Devin Duvernay led the team in targets. Baltimore plays at Pittsburgh in Week 14.
Dec 1, 2022
Practices fully Thursday
Likely (ankle) returned to a full practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
The 2022 fourth-rounder was limited Wednesday, but Likely's return to a full practice Thursday puts him in line to suit up Sunday against the Broncos. However, as long as Baltimore's star tight end Mark Andrews is healthy and available, Likely will profile as a hit-or-miss fantasy option.
Nov 30, 2022
Logs limited practice
Likely (ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday<.
ANALYSIS
After initially being listed as questionable for this past Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Likely was subsequently downgraded to out Saturday. The tight end's ability to practice Wednesday suggests that he has a chance to return to action this weekend, but with Mark Andrews healthy and available these days, Likely's bankable fantasy upside is modest.
Nov 26, 2022
Not playing Sunday
Likely has been downgraded to out and will not play Sunday against the Jaguars.
ANALYSIS
The return of Mark Andrews last week has mitigated the necessity of Likely's availability, but the rookie did still see three targets last week in the win over the Panthers, so it's not as if he was completely absent in the box score. Expect Josh Oliver to see more playing time as a result.
Nov 25, 2022
Picks up ankle injury
Likely (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
ANALYSIS
Likely appears to have suffered the injury in practice, as he was limited Friday after no indication of an injury Wednesday or Thursday. Even if the rookie tight end suits up, he's unlikely to play a major role barring an injury to starter Mark Andrews.
Nov 23, 2022
Catches one pass in loss
Likely caught one of three targets for one yard in Sunday's 13-3 win over the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
Likely reverted to his backup tight end duties Sunday with Mark Andrews returning from a one game absence due to shoulder and knee injuries. The rookie played 22 of the Ravens' 69 offensive snaps while Andrews played 64 snaps. Barring another injury to Andrews, Likely seems unlikely to see enough usage to be a consistent fantasy asset. The 22-year-old can be left out of lineups when the Ravens visit the Jaguars in Week 12.
Nov 20, 2022
Moves back to No. 2 TE role
Likely is expected to serve as the Ravens' No. 2 tight end in Sunday's game against the Panthers with Mark Andrews (shoulder/knee) active after sitting out Baltimore's most recent game Week 9 against New Orleans, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
ANALYSIS
While Andrews was out of the lineup Week 9, Likely started and played a career-high 75 percent of the Ravens' snaps, finishing with a 24-yard touchdown catch among his five targets. Even though Andrews has operated as the Ravens' clear top tight end when available, Likely's skills as a pass catcher and the underwhelming state of Baltimore's wideout corps should still allow him to see a good amount of field time Sunday. In the seven games this season that Andrews has finished, Likely has seen snap shares between 10 and 45 percent while averaging 2.6 targets per contest.
Nov 8, 2022
Tallies early touchdown
Likely recorded one reception on five targets for 24 yards in Monday's 27-13 win over the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Likely turned in an underwhelming effort in the absence of Mark Andrews (shoulder) despite leading the team with five targets. He looked to be in for a big performance after connecting with Lamar Jackson for a 24-yard catch to tally Baltimore's first touchdown of the game, but he was silent from that point forward. Likely's run as the team's starting tight end could also be coming to an end, as Andrews will have the chance to rest and recover during Baltimore's Week 10 bye.
Nov 6, 2022
Set to fill in for Andrews
With fellow tight end Mark Andrews (knee/shoulder) having been ruled out, Likely is slated to see an expanded role Monday night against the Saints.
ANALYSIS
With Andrews limited to 10 snaps in Week 8 against the Buccaneers, Likely stepped in and saw action on 51 offensive snaps en route to catching six of his seven targets for 77 yards and a TD. Now that both Andrews and top wideout Rashod Bateman are both out, Likely figures to see enough volume versus the Saints on Monday to maintain fantasy utility once again.
Nov 6, 2022
In line to start at tight end
Likely is expected to serve as Baltimore's top tight end in Monday's game against New Orleans with Mark Andrews (shoulder/knee) listed as doubtful for the contest, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
While Andrews missed most of the Ravens' Week 8 win over the Buccaneers due to his pair of injuries, Likely stepped in to play two-thirds of the Ravens' offensive snaps, finishing with a 6-77-1 receiving line on seven targets. With Andrews now trending toward miss the entirety of Monday's game, Likely looks like a good bet to see his snap share climb even higher. Even the stellar receiving line may be replicable, as the Ravens are expected to not only be down Andrews, but also top wideout Rashod Bateman (foot), who is set to undergo season-ending surgery to address a Lisfranc injury. Beyond Likely, the Ravens' top pass-catching options are projected to be Devin Duvernay, James Proche, DeSean Jackson, Tylan Wallace and Kenyan Drake.
Oct 28, 2022
Shines with expanded opportunity
Likely brought in six of seven targets for 77 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 27-22 win over the Buccaneers on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Mark Andrews exited the game early with a shoulder injury, and Likely took advantage to produce a co-team-high reception tally, a team-leading yardage total and his first NFL touchdown on a 10-yard go-ahead scoring grab at the end of the third quarter. Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports Andrews' shoulder injury is considered minor, but perhaps Likely's production with the extra opportunity can earn him a bump in targets beginning with a Week 9 road matchup versus the Saints on Monday night, Nov. 7.
Oct 24, 2022
Role diminishing in offense
Likely caught his lone target for a 16-yard gain in Sunday's win over the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Likely played a season-low six offensive snaps Sunday, which is a concerning development for the rookie at this stage of the year. He does not appear close to carving out a larger role in the offense. Meanwhile, Josh Oliver has played 33 percent or more of the snaps in each of the last three games, including 49 percent on Sunday. Likely and the Ravens have a quick turnaround in Week 8 as they travel to Tampa Bay to face the Buccaneers on Thursday night football.
Oct 18, 2022
Gets more involved Sunday
Likely caught two passes for 30 yards on four targets Sunday against the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Likely's snap share was roughly the same as it was in Week 5 but he was more involved in the passing game as he drew four targets for the first time since Week 2. He converted those looks into 30 yards on two receptions and has yet to find the end zone this season. Likely has seen red zone targets in each of the last two weeks, however. The Ravens host the Browns in Week 7.
Oct 11, 2022
Gets back in box score
Likely caught both of his targets for seven yards Sunday against the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
The rookie got back in the box score but the results still weren't overly impressive. Likely managed to reel in both targets but that totaled just seven yards. Since Likely's pseudo-breakout game against Miami in Week 2, Likely has three catches for 15 yards on four targets. It's also worth noting that Likely's 14 snaps Sunday marked a season-low. Baltimore heads to East Rutherford to face the Giants on Sunday.
Oct 4, 2022
No targets Sunday
Likely was not targeted on 23 snaps against the Bills on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Likely saw the second-highest snap count of his young career Sunday but it did not result in any production. In fairness, Buffalo largely shut down Baltimore's tight ends as Mark Andrews even struggled with two catches on five targets. Still, Likely started the season with nine targets in his first two games and now has two total targets over his last two outings. Cincinnati has allowed modest production to opposing tight ends thus far, so it will be interesting to see if Likely can get more involved in the passing game Sunday night.
Sep 26, 2022
Held to one catch in Week 3
Likely had one catch for eight yards on two targets Sunday against the Patriots.
ANALYSIS
Likely's snap count increased slightly on Sunday, going from 17 to 19, but it did not translate into a larger role in the passing game. He drew a season-low two targets and ended with just eight yards after going for four catches and 43 yards in Week 2. It appears Likely does have a stable role where he will play roughly one-third of the offensive snaps each week, but the target volume could be erratic as he gets acclimated to this offense as a rookie.
Sep 25, 2022
Listed as active Sunday
Likely (groin) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Patriots.
ANALYSIS
After Likely was blanked on four targets in Week 1, he logged a 4/43/0 line on five targets last weekend against the Dolphins. However, as long as the 2022 fourth-rounder continues to work behind clear-cut top TE Mark Andrews, he may not always see steady volume, a context that makes Likely a speculative fantasy option.

Status in question for Week 3
Likely (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest at New England.
ANALYSIS
Through two games, the rookie fourth-round pick has played a modest role for the Ravens, logging 38 percent of the offensive snaps to date. While operating behind Mark Andrews (83 percent) doesn't lend itself to a lot of work, Likely followed up getting blanked on four targets Week 1 with a 4-43-0 line on five targets this past Sunday against the Dolphins. After being limited Wednesday through Friday due to a groin injury, Likely's status for Week 3 won't be confirmed until about 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Limited in practice
Likely was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a groin injury, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
ANALYSIS
Likely caught four of five targets for 43 yards in a 42-38 loss to the Dolphins this past Sunday, making the most of his 17 snaps after finishing without a catch on four targets Week 1. He didn't leave the Week 2 loss early, playing into the fourth quarter, and his ability to practice at all Wednesday suggests the groin injury isn't serious. Likely isn't getting enough playing time to trust in fantasy, but he does have an interesting role, functioning more like a No. 3 receiver than a No. 2 tight end.

Makes first receptions of career
Likely caught four of five targets for 43 yards Sunday against the Dolphins.
ANALYSIS
The rookie got in the box score in Week 2 after being held without a catch in the season opener. Likely had five targets on 17 snaps, which is a notable rate. The one target he did not catch was notable as it gave the Dolphins the ball late in the game and helped Miami complete its comeback. That said, Likely's usage and efficiency were encouraging overall on Sunday. Likely and the Ravens travel to New England to face the Patriots in Week 3.

Held without a catch in debut
Likely was held without a catch on four targets Sunday against the Jets.
ANALYSIS
After shining in the preseason, Likely had a rough introduction to NFL regular season play Sunday. The fact that he drew four targets -- which tied for third on the team -- is a positive sign for him going forward, but being held without a catch means there's certainly room for improvement for the rookie. Likely was on the field for 24 of 51 snaps on offense and that percentage could tick up once he starts converting on his opportunities. Baltimore hosts Miami in Week 2.

Makes huge splash
Likely hauled in all eight of his targets for 100 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Cardinals.
ANALYSIS
Likely has now strung together two gaudy preseason performances (144 total yards and a touchdown) in just four quarters of action against opposing first-unit defenses. The fourth-round pick from this year's draft has dazzled with his per-minute production, but it is important to note that both Mark Andrews (rest) and Nick Boyle (rest) did not suit up, indicating that Likely will likely start the year as the Ravens' third tight end. While it is generally not advised to monitor a team's third-string tight end before the regular season starts, Baltimore runs a very unorthodox offense around superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson that routinely uses multiple tight-end sets, so Likely's name might pop up even this season even if Andrews stays healthy all year.

Catches four passes in NFL debut
Likely caught each of his four targets for 44 yards in Thursday's preseason win over Tennessee.
ANALYSIS
The rookie fourth-round pick was on the field for most of the first half with QB Tyler Huntley and the second-team offense, while fellow tight ends Mark Andrews and Nick Boyle were rested along with the other starters and fellow fourth-round pick Charlie Kolar was sidelined by sports hernia surgery. Likely was called for two holding penalties Thursday, but it isn't blocking he was drafted for, coming out of Coastal Carolina as an undersized tight end (235 pounds) who put up 912 yards and 12 TDs his senior season. He showed why the Ravens took him when he got his shots in the passing game, with one reception featuring a trio of successful jukes and another going for 22 yards in traffic. Last but not least, Likely made a tough catch on a low throw -- initially called incomplete before a review overturned it. As encouraging of an effort as it was, Likely is unlikely to find an opening for rookie-year fantasy value in any scenario where Mark Andrews stays healthy. For now, the rookie tight end is mostly of inter

Making solid impression in camp
Likely is turning in a strong start to training camp and is vying for a role in the offense, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Mark Andrews is the clear No.1 option at tight end, but fellow rookie Charlie Kolar's injury means there's one less hurdle for Likely to clear in order to have a role. Likely, a rookie from Coastal Carolina, has carried over his positive momentum from minicamp to begin training camp as he is showing reliable hands and a better-than-expected ability to separate from defenders. Per Zrebiec, Likely appears "close to certain" to have a role in Week 1 provided he continues to impress in practice and remains healthy.

Baltimore selects in fourth round
The Ravens selected Likely in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 139th overall.
ANALYSIS
Earlier in the offseason, there was hope that Likely could emerge as the top tight end in the draft, but the Coastal Carolina product had problematic pre-draft testing that cast doubt over whether his otherwise standout pass-catching skills can translate to the NFL level. Likely was extremely productive in college, with his best campaign coming last year with 59 receptions for 912 yards and 12 touchdowns, but at 6-foot-5, 238 pounds with a 4.83-second pro day 40 he is both skinny and slow by NFL tight end standards. He'll compete with Josh Oliver and fellow 2022 fourth-round pick Charlie Kolar to be Baltimore's third tight end behind Mark Andrews and Nick Boyle.
