McCarthy's inaccuracy. Nailor played on 33 of the offense's 55 snaps, so he was getting his usual workload. However, he's prone to low output games when the offense struggles, considering Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and tight end T.J. Hockenson draw the bulk of the targets.

Nailor recorded five receptions on six targets for 124 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-19 loss to the Ravens.

Nailor made nearly all of his impact early and late in the game. The 26-year-old Nailor could have had a much bigger fantasy night had QB J.J. McCarthy not airmailed his target on what would have been a lengthy touchdown grab. Nailor will see an elevated role for one more game against the Bengals next Sunday before Jordan Addison returns from suspension in Week 4 to reclaim his starting role.

While Nailor had just one catch, there were some positives for his fantasy value. He played despite suffering a hand injury that sidelined late in August and had his status for the start of the season in question. Nailor also started at wide receiver opposite Justin Jefferson over Adam Thielen and had more opportunities (Thielen had one target). Nailor also played on 49 of the offense's 56 snaps, compared to 32 for Thielen. It was thought Thielen may step in to the No. 2 WR role after his trade from Carolina and with Nailor's hand injury during training camp. However, Nailor may have just two more games with a prominent role given Jordan Addison will return from a three-game suspension.

With no limitations to speak of one day later, he's set to handle WR reps behind veterans Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen to begin the season due to Jordan Addison's three-game suspension. In a part-time role last year, Nailor gathered in 28 of 42 targets for 414 yards and six touchdowns in 17 regular-season games.

Nailor (hand) returned to practice on Wednesday for the first time since Aug. 14, the Minnesota Star Tribune reports.

It's not clear how much Nailor was able to do in practice, but this is a positive sign for his chances to play in Week 1. More should be known on his status when the Vikings start releasing official practice reports Thursday ahead of Monday's game at Chicago. Nailor will face increased competition for the third receiver role with the Vikings drafting Tai Felton in the third round of the 2025 NFL draft and with signing free agent Rondale Moore. Whoever wins the role could see an increase in playing time if Jordan Addison misses time due to a possible suspension from his DUI arrest last summer. While gaining muscle may not mean much in terms of improving his chances to with the role, it shows he's doing work in the offseason.

Nailor played on 24 of the offense's 60 snaps and went out on 20 routes, but his role continues to shrink after the return of T.J. Hockenson from a knee injury. He has just nine targets and four receptions the last six games despite being the team's primary No. 3 receiver.

Nailor had one reception for 18 yards on two targets in Sunday's win over Arizona.

Nailor has had a reduced role since the return of T.J. Hockenson from a knee injury. In the last five games since Hockenson returned, Nailor has just nine targets and four receptions.

Nailor caught one of his two targets for five yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 30-27 overtime win at Chicago.

Nailor only played 25 offensive snaps in Week 12, but he came up with his fifth touchdown reception of the season to put the Vikings up 14-7 in the second quarter. Nailor played on 42 of the offense's 84 snaps as he works as the No. 3 receiver. However, he may not get many targets with T.J. Hockenson returning and back to full speed.

Nailor caught his lone target for seven yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 21-13 win over the Colts.

Nailor's touchdown Sunday was his fourth trip to the end zone through eight games this season. The 25-year-old continues to see steady involvement in Minnesota's offense as the No. 3 wideout, earning multiple targets in all but two games. With that said, Nailor is difficult to trust for fantasy purposes based on his inconsistent and modest production while also being touchdown-dependent. The Vikings will visit the Jaguars in Week 10.

If fully healthy, he could have a much larger role in the offense next week against the 49ers if Jordan Addison missed time with an ankle injury.
