The Packers may continue looking for ways to get Deguara more involved, but he is sharing the work at the tight end position with two other players, and thus remains on the fringes of fantasy circles.

While those numbers seemingly point to him being the Packers' top tight end, they have not translated into any meaningful production, as he has recorded just eight receptions for 65 yards in the three games the Packers have played since their Week 13 bye. Deguara should again spend ample time on the field in the Packers' Week 17 matchup with the Vikings, and although his recent numbers don't inspire much confidence, he should have a chance to find paydirt against an opponent that allowed tight ends to rack up five scores over its last six games.

While the five targets were a career high for Deguara, he was unable to do much with them, and he finished with no more than 16 yards for the fourth time in the six games the Packers have played since losing starting tight end Robert Tonyan (knee). Deguara did play more than 50 percent of the snaps for the second week in a row, and he will have the matchup in his favor in Week 16 against the Browns. However, his game log suggests he will be tough to trust in that contest.

The 44 yards were a career best for Deguara, as were the 37 snaps he played in Sunday's contest. He has not stamped himself as the Packers' top tight end, as teammate Marcedes Lewis racked up more yards and receptions in Week 14 and played just one fewer snap. However, Deguara has at least done enough to put himself on the radar for Weeks 15 and 16, when the Packers will take on Ravens and Browns defenses that have been below-average this season against opposing tight ends.

It could be tough for him to do much more than that in Week 11, as he will remain behind Marcedes Lewis on the depth chart and will face a Vikings defense that has allowed tight ends to average a measly 2.8 receptions and 30.5 yards over its last six games.

Deguara was targeted twice and caught two passes for 16 yards in Sunday's 13-7 loss to the Chiefs.

Deguara matched the career-high two receptions he recorded in Week 8, but he did not do much for fantasy players who were hoping he would step up in the absence of fellow tight end Robert Tonyan (knee). Deguara will have more opportunities to contribute with Tonyan done for the season, but he played the third-most snaps among Packers tight ends in Week 9, so his role was not markedly different than it was in previous weeks. Of course, his prospects could improve some once starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers returns.

Deguara hauled in both targets for 20 yards in Thursday's 24-21 win at Arizona.

Deguara doubled his catch count on the campaign in the process, and he's likely to earn more work moving forward after Robert Tonyan suffered a torn ACL in the contest. The Packers activated Deguara (knee) from the PUP list Wednesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

While Demovsky noted Deguara has been medically cleared from the torn ACL he suffered last Oct. 5 against the Falcons, he likely will be eased into practice considering he's only 10 months removed from the injury. Robert Tonyan is the clear-cut receiving tight end in Green Bay, and Marcedes Lewis handles key blocking duties. As a result, Deguara, a 2020 third-round pick, may be fighting for not much more than a peripheral role in the Packers offense.
