Havrisik's tenure on Buffalo's practice squad lasted roughly two weeks, but he's now being let go to make room for veteran wideout Deon Cain. Next, Havrisik will have to search for a depth role elsewhere in the league, unless the Bills are interested in re-signing him at a later date.

Havrisik spent time with the Browns during the offseason, and he went 15-for-20 on field-goal attempts across nine appearances with the Rams in 2023. His presence on the practice squad provides Buffalo with some insurance behind Tyler Bass, who has converted nine of 12 field-goal attempts and 18 of 20 PATs through six games this season.

The second-year pro appeared in nine games for the Rams in 2023 and made 15 of 20 field goal attempts and 19 of 22 extra point tries.

Los Angeles doesn't currently have a kicker on its roster, and it remains to be seen who the team will bring in to replace Havrisik for Week 18 and the playoffs.

Just two days removed from coach Sean McVay saying that they wouldn't bring in a kicker to compete with Havrisik, the embattled Rams' kicker had a miserable day with a pair of missed extra points. The Rams now have to determine if they can trust the struggling Havrisik as their kicker through the playoffs or bring in another veteran free agent to compete for the role.

The 22-yard field goal turned out to be a game-winner, as Seattle kicker Jason Myers missed a 55-yard attempt with eight seconds left to seal the victory for the Rams. Up next for Havrisik is a Week 12 showdown in Arizona against Kyler Murray and the Cardinals.

Havrisik, who replaced Brett Maher after the Rams released him on Tuesday, never got to attempt a PAT as the Rams went for two on both of their touchdowns, but coach Sean McVay will likely hold pat with the former Arizona Wildcat through their Week 9 contest with Green Bay.

It's a job with fantasy appeal given that the Rams have mostly been able to move the ball this year but have then struggled to punch it into the end zone for six points. Brett Maher was unable to take full advantage due to struggles with accuracy, but Havrisik could have more luck if the team context stays similar. He's best left on the waiver wire in most leagues for Week 8, considering the Rams are playing on the road against a top defense coming out of a bye.

Los Angeles parted ways with kicker Brett Maher after he missed two field goals and one extra point during Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Steelers, and the team wasted no time finding his replacement. Since the Rams are planning on signing Havrisik off Cleveland's practice squad, he'll end up on the team's active roster, per Cameron DaSilva of USA Sports Today. Havrisik went undrafted in 2022 out of Arizona, and he has yet to appear in an NFL game.

Havrisik earned another chance with the Colts after the waiving of Rodrigo Blankenship, but his departure from the practice squad is a likely indication that Chase McLaughlin has solidified himself as the starting kicker. In college, he converted 34 of 53 field-goal tries across 54 games at Arizona.
