Heath (coach's decision) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Heath has played a rotational role for the Packers this season, making an appearance in all 10 games, recording six receptions on six targets, for 86 yards. This could be a positive sign for fellow wideouts Matthew Golden (shoulder) and Savion Williams (foot), who are both questionable for Week 11.

Heath (hip) does not carry an injury designation into Monday's game against the Eagles, Wes Hodklewicz of the Packers' official site reports.

A hip issue limited Heath in practice Friday and Saturday, but the injury isn't severe enough to warrant an injury designation for the third-year wideout. He could play a sizable role on offense Monday as the Packers are managing injuries to fellow wideouts Matthew Golden (shoulder), Dontayvion Wicks (calf) or Savion Williams (foot), all of whom are listed as questionable for Week 10.

Heath was a full participant at practice Thursday, so it's not immediately obvious when he suffered the hip injury. Either way, he'll now probably need to practice in full Saturday to avoid being given an injury designation on Green Bay's final practice report of the week.

Fellow wideout Christian Watson made his season debut in Week 8, but another pass catcher -- Dontayvion Wicks (calf) -- did not suit up, so Heath spent another game as Green Bay's fourth wideout and set a season high in receptions. Heath will likely fall behind Wicks on the depth chart when he returns, and one more receiver -- rookie Savion Williams -- could get more involved, which does not leave much upside from a fantasy perspective.

Heath -- due in part to a calf injury sustained by fellow wideout Dontayvion Wicks -- finished third among Packers receivers in snaps in Week 7, but he finished without a target for the fourth time in six appearances this season. Heath could benefit if Wicks misses any further action, but another pass catcher -- Christian Watson (knee) -- is due back soon, so any sort of long-term boost looks unlikely.

Heath saw his highest snap share of the season Sunday, playing 46 percent of the Packers' offensive snaps after averaging a 26 percent snap share over the team's first four games. Despite the uptick in playing time, the third-year wideout was unable to get anything going against a vulnerable defense. Considering Heath is already buried on the depth chart and teammate Christian Watson (knee) is nearing his return, the 25-year-old is best ignored for fantasy purposes going forward. Up next for Green Bay is a Week 7 matchup against the Cardinals.

The Mississippi product is under contract for the 2025 season before becoming a restricted free agent in 2026. Heath will continue to face competition for targets in Green Bay's young receiver corps with Reed, Doubs, Watson and Dontayvian Wicks all under contract next season.

Heath was busier than usual with Romeo Doubs (illness) sitting out and Christian Watson (knee) leaving the game early, and he wound up setting a new career high in the receiving yards column. Doubs will presumably return for Green Bay's postseason opener, but Watson will not, so Heath could have more opportunities to contribute during the playoffs.

All five wideouts ahead of him are set to return in 2024, but he figures to remain part of the mix.

However, given how Bo Melton played the last two weeks, Heath would likely be no higher than the third option at his position in any scenario.

Heath worked as Green Bay's fourth receiver Thursday with fellow rookie wideout Dontayvion Wicks (concussion/knee) unavailable, and he wound up having easily the most productive game of the season. Heath will bump back down a notch if Wicks plays in Week 13, but Thursday's effort only solidified his standing on the depth chart.

Heath was targeted once and caught one pass for seven yards in Sunday's 23-20 victory over the Chargers.

Heath hardly stood out in Week 11, but he did tally his most snaps since Week 1 and recorded the first reception of his career. The rookie has surpassed fellow wideout Samori Toure on the depth chart and heads into Week 12 as Green Bay's fifth option at the wide receiver spot.

He secured 12 of 16 targets for 146 yards during the preseason and opened Saturday's preseason win over the Seahawks with the starters. He'll now attempt to carve out a role in Green Bay's offense once the regular season gets underway.

It was not a huge showing for Heath in the box score, but it should be noted that he opened Saturday's game with the starters and wound up with three more targets than any of his teammates. The undrafted rookie has flashed consistently all the way back to the offseason, and it seems more likely than not that he gets good news come cutdown day.

The undrafted free agent has not played like one since linking up with the Packers over the offseason, and his showing in the second exhibition contest certainly did nothing to damage his chances of coming away with a roster spot when final cuts are made in just over a week.

Heath made some noise over the offseason despite being an undrafted free agent, and he did the same in his first professional appearance. He remains a ways down the depth chart, but he presumably sits sixth in the pecking order heading into Green Bay's second exhibition contest.

The Packers are expected to sign Heath as an undrafted free agent, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Heath caught 60 passes for 971 yards and five touchdowns with Ole Miss during the 2022 campaign. The Packers, who drafted a trio of wideouts for a second straight year after trading Davante Adams following the 2021 season, also signed fellow pass catcher Duece Watts to an UDFA deal, so Heath and Watts figure to compete for a depth role during training camp.
