Nursing ankle injury
Harden was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
ANALYSIS
Harden is working through an ankle issue coming out of the Week 9 bye, so he may have sustained the injury during the Browns' Week 8 loss to the Patriots. The injury wasn't severe enough for him to miss Wednesday's practice altogether, and he'll have two more chances to practice fully and avoid an injury tag heading into Sunday's game against the Jets. The second-year corner has accumulated 22 tackles (14 solo) and pass defenses through eight regular-season games.

Officially comes off IR
The Browns activated Harden (shin) off injured reserve Saturday, and he does not have an injury designation for Sunday's Week 15 matchup against the Chiefs, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Harden hasn't yet played this season, and he had been on IR since Week 2. The rookie cornerback could provide useful depth in the secondary for Cleveland on Sunday, as Greg Newsome (hamstring) landed on injured reserve this week and Tony Brown hasn't been activated since being placed on IR due to a foot injury in late October.

Will come off IR
Harden (shin) will be activated from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Harden, who hasn't played since Week 1, was designated to return Nov. 27. He's still in the 21-day window, but with Greg Newsome (hamstring) placed on injured reserve this week, there's a need for additional bodies in the secondary. Cameron Mitchell will start in place of Newsome, while Harden provides depth.

Remains out for Week 14
Harden (shin) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Steelers, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
ANALYSIS
Harden landed on IR with a shin injury Sept. 12 and has yet to return. He had his 21-day practice window opened Nov. 27, so Cleveland has until Dec. 17 to decide whether to activate him or to have him miss the remainder of the campaign. The rookie does seem to be making progress, as he logged a trio of limited practices this week and was originally deemed questionable to play Sunday before being ruled out.

Won't be activated off IR
Harden (shin) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Broncos, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
ANALYSIS
Harden was placed on injured reserve in early September. He was designated to return from IR on Wednesday, and while he was able to log limited practices all week, he hasn't progressed enough in his recovery to take the field Sunday. Harden's next chance to make his NFL regular-season debut will be Week 14 against the Steelers on Sunday, Dec. 8.

Gets okay to practice again
Cleveland designated Harden (shin) for return to practice from its injured reserve list Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Harden was placed on injured reserve shortly after sitting out in Week 1 and has missed the entire season since, but it now appears he could be available some time soon. The Browns will have 21 days to officially activate him before they'd have to put him back on injured reserve for the rest of the year.

Moves to IR
Harden (shin) was placed on injured reserve Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Harden will join the list of several Browns defensive players who have been placed on injured reserve. The rookie, who didn't take the field Week 1, likely suffered the injury during practice. How long he could be sidelined is unknown, but his placement on IR guarantees he'll miss at least the next four weeks.
