Plays air and ground in win
Harris brought in one of two targets for 18 yards and added a three-yard carry on the ground through 37 offensive snaps in Monday night's victory over the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Harris' two targets were fourth among Chargers wide receivers on the night, matching his place on the depth chart. The receiver's 21 total yards made him the fourth most productive skill position player for his team behind Omarion Hampton (67 total yards), Kimani Vidal (104 total yards), and veteran wide receiver Keenan Allen (22 total yards). Harris played 50 percent of offensive snaps, making it the third consecutive week the rookie has hit that benchmark.

Posts 3-30-0 receiving in win
Harris caught three of four targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 31-14 win over the Raiders.
ANALYSIS
Harris' four targets were third on the team, trailing Ladd McConkey (six) and Keenan Allen (five), as Harris saw one more target than Quentin Johnston. On a day Justin Herbert (hand) threw for just 151 yards on 20 attempts, McConkey was the team's leading receiving with just 39 yards. Second-round rookie Harris has secured 19 of 24 targets for 167 yards and one touchdown through 12 games. He's a situational WR4 for Los Angeles and would only have serious fantasy appeal if one of McConkey, Allen or Johnston went down with an injury.

Listed as full participant
Harris (jaw) is listed as a full participant on Thursday's estimated injury report.
ANALYSIS
The Chargers only hosted a walkthrough practice Thursday, but Harris nonetheless now appears fully on track for Sunday's game against the Raiders. The rookie second-round pick has seen his share of offensive snaps hover around the 50 percent range in five consecutive games, and across 11 regular-season appearances on the year he's totaled 16 grabs for 137 yards and one touchdown on 20 targets.

Limited by jaw injury
Harris (jaw) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
ANALYSIS
It's unclear when Harris sustained the injury given that the Chargers are coming out of the Week 12 bye, but the injury limited his practice reps to open the week. The rookie second-rounder will have two more opportunities to increase his practice participation and avoid an injury designation heading into Sunday's AFC West tilt against the Raiders. Harris has totaled 16 catches (on 20 targets) for 137 yards and a touchdown through 11 regular-season games.

Kept in check in big loss
Harris caught his only target for 12 yards in the 35-6 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Harris played his usual snap load, but with Los Angeles' offense in disarray and Jacksonville wholly dominating the line of scrimmage, the rookie never stood a chance from a fantasy perspective. The 2025 second-round pick has just nine targets in the last five games after seeing five total in Week 6 despite a typical cadence in terms of playing time.

Targeted twice against Pittsburgh
Harris caught both of his targets for four yards in Sunday's 25-10 win over the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Harris played 32 of the Chargers' 73 offensive snaps Sunday, behind Quentin Johnston (60), Ladd McConkey (52) and Keenan Allen (37). The rookie wideout has now caught two passes in a contest for the fourth straight week. Harris has played over 50 percent of snaps just twice this season, limiting his opportunities in the Chargers' offensive attack. Barring injuries to Johnston, McConkey or Allen, the 23-year-old Mississippi product should not be trusted for consistent fantasy production going forward. Next up for the Chargers is a Week 11 matchup against the Jaguars.

Catches two passes vs. Titans
Harris caught both of his targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Titans.
ANALYSIS
The 2025 second-round pick played 30 offensive snaps and hauled in both of his targets during the Week 9 win. His role on the Chargers' offense has slowly expanded as the year has progressed, and Harris has now logged far more offensive snaps than Keenan Allen (72 to 42) over the two three weeks. Expect Harris to remain involved heading into the Week 10 matchup against the Steelers.

Scores first NFL TD
Harris caught both of his targets for eight yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 37-10 win over the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
Harris actually led all Chargers wide receivers with a 59 percent snap share, as the rookie second-round pick's role in the offense is slowly expanding. His first NFL touchdown came on a six-yard reception in the fourth quarter. Harris will look to build on this performance in Week 9 against the Titans.
Oct 22, 2025
Two grabs in loss
Harris caught both of his targets for 23 yards in Sunday's 38-24 loss to the Colts.
ANALYSIS
Harris played 33 of the Chargers' 76 offensive snaps Sunday, behind Quentin Johnston (68), Ladd McConkey (67) and Keenan Allen (49). The rookie second-round pick has now recorded just nine catches for 95 scoreless yards through his first seven games. Barring injuries, Harris will continue to face stiff competition for targets in Chargers' crowded wide receiver room. The 23-year-old wideout is best left out of fantasy lineups when the Chargers host Vikings in Week 8.
Oct 14, 2025
Extended playing time sans Johnston
Harris caught four passes on five targets for 27 yards during the Chargers' 29-27 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Harris was thrust into a larger offensive role Sunday due to Quentin Johnston being ruled out with a hamstring injury. Harris proceeded to play a season-high 53 snaps on offense and finished tied with Keenan Allen for third on the Chargers in both catches and receiving yards. Harris' would revert to a rotational role for Week 7 against the Colts if Johnston were cleared to return.
Oct 6, 2025
No catch for third straight week
Harris did not record a target across 25 offensive snaps in the 27-10 loss to the Commanders on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Harris actually saw a season high in terms of snap percentage, but the extra work didn't get the rookie more opportunities. The Chargers could be in a few more favorable passing game scripts with the offensive line in tatters due to injuries, but it has yet to significantly unlock the 2025 second-round pick.

Little playing time in loss
Harris did not catch his only target in the 21-18 loss to the Giants on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Harris played just 12 offensive snaps as the lethargic Chargers offense relied on multiple tight ends to slow New York's pass rush. The imminent loss of Joe Alt (ankle) could mean Harris sees even less time on the field for the foreseeable future with the team intent on keeping Justin Herbert upright.
Sep 22, 2025
Just one target Week 3
Harris failed to haul in his lone target during the Chargers' 23-20 win over the Broncos on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Harris' lone look from Justin Herbert came in the third quarter on a deep pass that fell incomplete. While Harris' production was down from Week 2 against Las Vegas (two catches on three targets for 34 yards), he did see the field for 25 offensive snaps against Denver, and his playing time has increased over the first three games of the regular season. Next up for the Chargers is a Week 4 road bout against the Giants.
Sep 16, 2025
Bigger role in Week 2
Harris caught two of his three targets for 34 yards in the 20-9 win over the Raiders on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Harris played just 18 offensive snaps lagging behind Quentin Johnston (44), Ladd McConkey (43) and Keenan Allen (32), but it was noteworthy the rookie out-snapped KeAndre Lambert-Smith (six snaps) who played over Harris in Week 1. The Chargers don't pass with enough volume to sustain four different fantasy relevant wide receivers, but the Ole Miss product can still develop into a crucial offensive piece as the season progresses.

Secures only target
Harris brought in his only target for 11 yards during Friday's 27-21 victory over Kansas City.
ANALYSIS
Harris, a 2025 second-round pick, played just five offensive snaps, while sixth-rounder KeAndre Lambert-Smith played 14. Quarterback Justin Herbert targeted each rookie just once, however, and Lambert-Smith finished Week 1 without a catch. Ladd McConkey, Keenan Allen and Quentin Johnston dominated opportunities in the passing game, combining for 26 targets, and the three appear solidified as a starting trio atop the Chargers' wide receiver depth chart. Harris thus looks destined to reprise a depth role in Week 2 against the Raiders on Monday night, and any path for him to see significantly increased opportunities in the near future could depend on one of McConkey, Allen or Johnston missing time.

In clear for Week 1
Harris (undisclosed) isn't listed on the Chargers' initial Week 1 injury report that was released Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Harris exited a practice last Wednesday due to an unspecified issue, but his absence from the Week 1 injury report implies that he took every rep during Tuesday's session. The rookie second-round receiver out of Ole Miss will be available for Friday's season opener versus the Chiefs in Sao Paulo, Brazil, but it's unclear if he'll be able to immediately earn meaningful target volume on the perimeter after the Chargers brought aboard veteran slot man Keenan Allen in August to complement No. 1 wideout Ladd McConkey and third-year man Quentin Johnston.

No team drills Thursday
Harris (undisclosed) didn't participate in team drills Thursday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Harris left practice Wednesday with trainers after individual drills and a day later was once again held out of the team portion of practice. The rookie wideout's unspecified injury issue thus clouds his status for Saturday's preseason finale against the 49ers.
Aug 20, 2025
Exits with trainers
Harris left Wednesday's practice early with trainers, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The rookie likely suffered an injury, though perhaps just a minor one, during Wednesday's practice. He caught six of eight targets for 85 yards in Saturday's preseason loss to the Rams -- a potential springboard to make his move up the depth chart after not much noise on that front during training camp. With Harris and Quentin Johnston (concussion) potentially now missing practice time, rookie fifth-round pick KeAndre Lambert-Smith should get more first-team reps alongside Ladd McConkey and Keenan Allen.
Aug 17, 2025
Strong preseason performance
Harris recorded six receptions on eight targets for 85 yards in Saturday's 23-22 preseason loss to the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Harris and fellow rookie wideout KeAndre Lambert-Smith were big factors in the game. Late in the third quarter, Harris flashed the big-play ability the Chargers were hoping for when they selected him in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft when he caught a 34-yard pass on a route deep down the right sideline. Despite the strong showing, Harris' role on the team is in question due to the recent addition of Keenan Allen and the emergence of Lambert-Smith. Allen was the first of the group to enter the game, while Lambert-Smith replaced an injured Quentin Johnston (concussion) four plays into the contest.

Fails to bring in only target
Harris didn't bring in his one target during the Chargers' 34-7 preseason win over the Lions in Thursday night's Hall of Fame Game.
ANALYSIS
The rookie second-round pick wasn't able to make a mark on the stat sheet in his first official game, but Harris' stock naturally remains high after Los Angeles' second-round investment in him in April's draft. The Ole Miss product, who exceeded 950 receiving yards in each of his last three college seasons at Ole Miss while also compiling 25 touchdown receptions in that span, is expected to open the regular season as no less than the No. 3 receiver behind Ladd McConkey (undisclosed) and Quentin Johnston.

Strong practice Monday
Harris turned in one of his best practices of training camp on Monday, according to Daniel Popper of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Popper notes that Harris showed off his strong hands and contested-catch ability Monday, while working in 11-on-11 drills helmed by QB Justin Herbert. While veteran wideout Jalen Reagor (lower body) has been missing practice, Harris and fellow rookie KeAndre Lambert-Smith have had an opportunity to make their marks in practice. With Mike Williams having retired, there's a path for Harris -- who the Chargers took in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft -- to earn a key role out of the gate this season, while working alongside returnees Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston.
Jul 24, 2025
Not part of first-team offense yet
Harris has been playing behind veterans Jalen Reagor and Quentin Johnston to begin training camp, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Any bit of news regarding the Chargers' first-team wideout usage is noteworthy, but it's hard to read too much into the first week of camp given the rookie just signed his contract July 17. Perhaps more importantly with the sudden retirement of Mike Williams and reportedly minor training camp injury to Reagor (undisclosed), Harris has already had opportunities to compete for a boundary wide receiver role along with rookie fifth-round pick KeAndre Lambert-Smith.

Signing rookie deal with Chargers
Harris is slated to sign his rookie contract with the Chargers after agreeing to terms with the team Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Harris was initially unsigned as the Chargers' training camp opened up, but the 2025 second-rounder is now poised to rejoin his teammates at practice after reaching an agreement with the franchise on the same day that it was revealed that veteran wideout Mike Williams planned to retire. As the coming season approaches, Harris will have an opportunity to carve out a key role (that could yield lineup utility in deeper fantasy formats) in a WR corps that also features Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston, with Derius Davis, KeAndre Lambert-Smith and Jalen Reagor also on hand to compete for targets.

Unsigned as training camp kicks off
Harris has not yet signed his contract with the Chargers as rookies report to training camp Saturday, Chris Roling of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Harris is one of roughly 30 rookie second-round picks who have not yet signed a contract with the team that selected them in April's draft due to ongoing disputes over guaranteed money. Only Browns linebacker Carson Schwesinger, selected 33rd overall, and Texans wideout Jayden Higgins, selected 34th overall, have currently signed their rookie deals, and both received fully-guaranteed contracts. Harris participated in spring workouts for Los Angeles despite not having inked his deal and reportedly impressed across OTAs and minicamp, but he won't be eligible to report to training camp unless signed. The nature of Harris' contract dispute being a league-wide issue makes it difficult to estimate when a resolution will occur, but as more rookies around the league begin reporting for training camp, pressure for a solution figures to quickly mount.

Building early momentum
Harris stood out in contested-catch situations during OTAs and mandatory minicamp, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Harris appears to be successfully building early chemistry with QB Justin Herbert, of whom he said at mandatory minicamp, "Every throw he's made to me has been right on the money," per Omar Navarro of the Chargers' official site. The rookie second-round pick said his largest focus at this stage of the offseason, however, has been working closely with wide receivers coach Sanjay Lal to learn offensive coordinator Greg Roman's playbook. Despite getting a tremendous boost from 2024 second-round pick Ladd McConkey last season, Los Angeles' offense struggled at times to threaten opposing defenses downfield. Harris' skill set seemingly makes him an ideal candidate to fill that weakness, with Gavino Borquez of USA Today noting that the expectation should be for the rookie second-rounder to establish himself as Herbert's go-to deep threat early. Harris' primary competition for targets behind McConkey in Roman's run-heavy scheme will be Quentin Johnston and Mike Williams.

Snagged by Chargers in second round
The Chargers selected Harris in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 55th overall.
ANALYSIS
Harris (6-foot-2, 205 pounds) was extremely productive for Mississippi the last two years, turning 172 targets into 114 receptions for 2,015 yards and 15 touchdowns (66.3 percent catch rate, 11.7 yards per target) over 20 games. Harris was productive for Louisiana Tech before that, too, so his success doesn't seem entirely due to the Mississippi scheme. With that said, the Mississippi offense did tee up Harris for big-play opportunities, letting Harris gain big yardage after the catch on screens while wiling his way to big plays downfield in a very spread-out offense. Harris' NFL Combine performance was disappointing (4.54-second 40) and the Rebels' scheme makes it difficult to fully assess his numbers, but players who produce like Harris generally carve out a role at the next level. Harris will likely compete with Quentin Johnston and Mike Williams for targets from Justin Herbert behind unquestioned No. 1 wideout Ladd McConkey.
