Expert College Football Player Props for CFP Finals

The cover for this College football national championship player props article shows Carson Beck #11 of the Miami Hurricanes throwing a pass during the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl.

The Miami Hurricanes will battle the Indiana Hoosiers for the College Football Playoff National Championship on January 19 at 7:30 pm ET.

The Hurricanes were on the cusp of even making the CFP. But a last-minute decision pushed the Hurricanes into the mix as the No. 10 seed.

On the other hand, nobody was questioning Indiana’s placement as the No. 1 seed. The Hoosiers won the Big Ten Championship and came into the CFP as the only undefeated team. They’re still undefeated with one more game to play.

They’ve already put together one of the greatest seasons in college football history. But they’ll need to finish the job on Monday to be remembered. That said, let’s add some college football National Championship player props to our betting portfolio for this Championship game.

College Football Prop Bets CFP Finals At-a-Glance

The Miami Hurricanes have defeated Texas A&M, Ohio State, and Ole Miss to reach the CFP Finals. They’ve been the lower seed in all of their games so far. However, they haven’t been the underdog in all of their games.

Meanwhile, Indiana had a bye week entering the CFP. They’ve played two games in the tournament and knocked off Alabama and Oregon by ridiculous margins.

Indiana wasn’t really given a favorable matchup, facing the Hurricanes at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Despite Miami being “home,” Indiana is still favored by 8.5.

Let’s use that info to decide on some college football player props for this big game.

Miami’s Carson Beck (Over 202.5 Passing Yards -115)

Carson Beck finished with 268 passing yards in Miami’s win over Ole Miss. He completed 62.2% of his passes in that game, which was actually his worst completion percentage over the last ten games.

Despite having the lowest completion percentage, he still threw for 268 yards on 37 attempts.

Against Indiana, you’d expect the same. Indiana will likely have the lead for most of this game and force Beck to throw a lot in the second half. That should help his passing yards creep up throughout the game.

He’s averaged eight yards per pass attempt and nearly 11 yards per completion over the last ten games. With 35+ passing attempts, it’s likely he’ll get to at least 203 passing yards.

Indiana’s Kaelon Black (Over 60.5 Rushing Yards -120)

Kaelon Black has added at least 63 rushing yards in each of his last four games. That includes 61+ in the Big Ten Championship and both College Football Playoff Games.

In fact, he’s rushed for at least five yards a carry in three of those four games and has had a long rush of at least 16 in all four of those games.

While Miami hits hard per PFF, the Hurricanes have trouble consistently making tackles. Expect Black to break out for some big gains in this one.

Miami’s Malachi Toney (Over 61.5 Receiving Yards -120)

This goes hand-in-hand with Carson Beck’s total. If I like Beck to reach at least 203 passing yards, I’m also going to like Malachi Toney to earn at least 62 receiving yards.

Toney has added at least five receptions in six consecutive games. He’s averaged nearly ten yards per catch and has earned at least a 22-yard reception in three of his last five games.

If the Hurricanes are down early, they’ll be throwing the ball. They love to get Toney out in space due to his speed. One big play is all we’d need to get Toney to 62 receiving yards.

There’s Plenty To Bet On!

There’s only one more college football game until next season. But this game has a wide market of wagers that you can bet on. Just head over to the player props dashboard and check out all of the betting options. You can also bet on other wager types like the moneyline, spread, and total.

The best bets don’t last forever. So make sure to get your bets in before lines change against you at the reputable sportsbooks!
