NCAAF Odds Week 11 At-a-glance

This article takes a look at the college football betting lines for this week’s most anticipated games. One highly anticipated game involves a classic SEC showdown, and another involves a battle between two top-ten teams.

BYU Cougars vs. Texas Tech Red Raiders (-10.5)

Saturday, November 08, 2025 – 12:00 PM EDT

This game features two teams ranked in the top ten: BYU is eighth and Texas Tech is ninth. Both teams have accomplished a lot this season.

BYU is undefeated. Their most impressive win came against Utah. In that game, they did struggle with Utah’s dual-threat quarterback, who helped the Utes amass 226 rushing yards on 6.1 YPC. However, their own rush attack ran for 202 yards, helping them score just enough points to win.

Given the strength of BYU’s rush attack, it might be surprising to see that Texas Tech opened as a 10.5-point favorite.

However, BYU’s star running back, LJ Martin, sustained an injury to his shoulder in his last game and is listed as ‘questionable’ for this affair. Given the uncertainty of his status, the odds for this matchup could see a strong shift.

If he plays, the Red Raiders will likely be favored by fewer points. With Behren Morton back for Texas Tech, the Red Raiders are back to scoring over 40 points per game. BYU will absolutely need Martin in order to keep pace.

LSU Tigers vs. Alabama Crimson Tide (-10.5)

Saturday, November 08, 2025 – 07:30 PM EDT

It’s always a big deal when LSU and Alabama play each other. These SEC foes have a long history of competing against each other while being highly ranked.

The Tigers were once in the national championship conversation, but their ongoing losing streak has them spiraling. They are currently unranked, which is shocking to see, although we know from Texas that hyped-up teams can find a way to bounce back from their struggles.

For LSU to bounce back, it will need a big game from quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, who was once thought of as a Heisman contender.

When Alabama won by three points at Georgia and Missouri, though, it was the opposing rush attack of each opponent that made the game as close as it was. LSU’s 121st-ranked rush attack certainly won’t pose a threat.

The line opened as Alabama -6.5 and has shifted strongly in favor of the Crimson Tide. Given the increasingly evident disparity between both teams, an LSU team coming off a blowout loss and an Alabama team riding a seven-game winning streak, this line movement makes sense.

If the Tide feel too chalky for you now, consider placing them in a moneyline parlay.

What We’ve Covered and Next Steps

Timing is everything in sports betting, which means that you should always want to get the best number in order to increase your mathematical chances of winning. If LJ Martin can’t go for BYU, then Texas Tech makes for a great moneyline partner with Alabama.
