There are multiple exciting games taking place this week, so let’s break down the college football odds Week 12 and figure out the best wagers to place.

And don’t forget to look at the college football betting lines for other games, as well, because even less exciting games can be profitable to wager on.

NCAAF Odds Week 12 At-a-Glance

Today, we take a look at the college football odds for week 12, where two games stand out for being highly anticipated, high-profile affairs: Oklahoma vs. Alabama and Texas vs. Georgia. All four teams are playoff contenders.

Oklahoma Sooners vs. Alabama Crimson Tide (-7)

Saturday, November 15, 2025 – 3:30 PM EST

This is a matchup between two highly-ranked teams: a 7-2 Oklahoma team that has only lost to two teams (archrival Texas and national championship contender Ole Miss), and a 7-2 Alabama team that has won eight straight games.

While Oklahoma’s defense is generally good, its defense is also vulnerable in certain respects. The Sooners, in their last two games, have given up 34 points to Ole Miss and 27 points to Tennessee because they struggled to limit their opponents’ pass yardage total. Now they have to face the best quarterback they have seen all year, Alabama’s Ty Simpson, a Heisman contender with 21 touchdowns and one interception.

Alabama’s defense, however, will also struggle. Its two worst games – in which they allowed 24 points to Missouri and 31 points to Florida State – came against an offense led by a dual-threat quarterback. Oklahoma’s John Mateer thus has a great outlook.

Alabama opened as a 12.5-point favorite. The spread is down to 7.5 points. Given Oklahoma’s undefeated road record and the threat that Mateer poses, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Alabama favored by less than a touchdown before kickoff.

Texas Longhorns vs. Georgia Bulldogs (Georgia -6)

Saturday, November 15, 2025 – 7:30 PM EST

When these two teams played last year, Georgia won the first game. The rematch was much closer, though: Georgia won in an overtime thriller. This year, Texas has shown the same sort of improvement. The Longhorns are enjoying a four-game winning streak during which they blew out Oklahoma and defeated Vanderbilt. Quarterback Arch Manning has improved tremendously, positioning the Longhorns once again to be a playoff contender. Georgia is no worse: the Bulldogs are 8-1, with their one loss coming by three points against Alabama.

Georgia is very much a run-first team, recently scoring 41 points largely because they ran for 303 yards. But Texas has the third-ranked run defense. So the Bulldogs’ offense will have a much tougher time. Georgia, though, also has a highly-ranked defense. It will be interesting to see just how much Manning has improved. His performance will go a long way in deciding the outcome of this game.

Georgia opened as a 6.5-point favorite. The Bulldogs are now favored by six points. Based on Texas’ ongoing success and the fact that Georgia has lost at home, I wouldn’t be surprised to see another slight shift in the odds in Texas’ favor.
