There are many ways to skin a pig.
We have all sorts of betting options when it comes to our college football player props Week 13. It offers projected edges as high as 37.9% according to the numbers at OddsTrader, but that’s for Miami-Ohio QB Henry Hesson to go Under 169.5 passing yards this Wednesday against Buffalo.
Hammering that prop will instantly get you labeled as a sharp; let’s focus instead on the more famous names for this week’s best college football props.
NCAAF Prop Bets Week 13 At-a-Glance
As you’ll often find in this space, the plan for this week’s NCAAF props is to stick with the big-name skill players on the big-name teams, playing in the biggest marquee matchups on the calendar.
This will help us look more like recreational bettors and avoid getting our action capped when we’re not betting at a sharp-friendly sportsbook. We usually want to pick the Over as well, but for Week 13, we’re willing to bet the dark side and take the Under – if the situation is right.
Texas QB Arch Manning (Under 268.5 Passing Yards –114)
Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Texas Longhorns – Saturday, November 22, 03:30 PM ET
Let’s kick off with arguably the most famous name in college football.
Arch Manning (237.4 passing yards per game) has struggled at times in his first full year at the helm; his quarterback rating has dipped from 184.0 in 2024 to 142.5 this year, and his Longhorns (7-3 SU, 2-7-1 ATS) are almost certainly not going to make the College Football Playoff as a result.
Not that Arkansas (2-8 SU, 4-6 ATS) has much to offer for Saturday’s matchup. But even the last-place team in the SEC is good enough to rank No. 38 overall on the F+ charts at BCF Toys.
Our chosen Manning prop comes with a projected 17.8% EV attached; he’s even bigger at 20.2% to go Under 1.5 passing touchdowns (+152), but that’s a sharp-looking bet, so consider packaging both of these with Arkansas +275 and Under 57.5 as a “Horns Down” same-game parlay.
Miami’s QB Carson Beck (Under 2.5 Passing TDs –194)
Miami Hurricanes vs. Virginia Tech Hokies – Saturday, November 22, 12:00 PM ET
Okay, now we’re on the Under for passing touchdowns, but that’s because we don’t see any other Carson Beck props where the Under is worth taking – and we just can’t pass up that 16.4% projected edge.
This prop still gives us some camouflage to pound those even bigger edges with Hokies RB Marcellous Hawkins, including 29.7% to go Over 43.5 rushing yards (–114) and 16.5% to score a touchdown (+270). For that matter, we could also hit WR Cameron Seldon (35.5%) at +460 and QB Kyron Drones (21.9%) at +180 to score a TD.
This matchup is not unlike our Arkansas-Texas game, except the sharp money is reportedly on Miami (8-2 SU, 6-4 ATS) as 17.5-point road faves, which means you can hit up Virginia Tech +625 and Under 48.5 for your same-game parlay and still look like a plausibly casual ‘Canes hater.
Florida State’s QB Tommy Castellanos (Under 235.5 Passing Yards –114)
Florida State Seminoles vs. North Carolina State Wolfpack – Friday, November 21, 08:00 PM ET
This isn’t the most important game on the marquee, but they have Friday night virtually all to themselves on ESPN, so people will be lining up to bet against Florida State (5-5 SU and ATS).
Tommy Castellanos carries a projected 13.6% edge for this prop, and another 12.8% EV for both Under 1.5 passing TDs (–122) and Under 44.5 rushing yards (–114). You’ll look like a respectable NC State fan if you parlay one or more of those with Wolfpack +180 and Under 61.5.
