It became the first Palace double over Man Utd in EPL history, as an eighth-place position in the table is considered nothing less than embarrassing by United’s standards.
Sure, Europa League hope is alive should they succeed in the FA Cup. However, a final meeting with their Manchester rivals in the cup final doesn’t look promising given their recent results and a visiting Gunners squad could make matters worse on Sunday.
No Room for Error
Arsenal’s quest for Premiership supremacy continues, but due to Manchester City’s game in hand and one-point distance, Mikel Arteta must remain perfect between now and the end of the season while also banking on City losing or drawing one of their remaining three fixtures.
Arsenal and United hold a deep-rooted rivalry that spans beyond the UK map. When these two get together, it may as well be classed as a derby game because they’ve been rivals for decades.
