Expert NFL Player Props for Wild Card Week

The cover for this NFL Wild Card Player props article shows K'Von Wallace #38 of the Houston Texans tripping up Justin Herbert #10 of the Los Angeles Chargers.

For this week’s best NFL picks, we are looking at NFL player props Wild Card edition. With six great games to choose from, there are plenty of good options out there this week. We crunched the numbers and found our favorite plays for the weekend.

Let’s look at the latest NFL odds.

NFL Prop Bets Wild Card At-A-Glance

For this week’s football player props, we are looking at a running back in the Packers vs. Bears rivalry, a quarterback to go under in passing yards between Trevor Lawrence and Josh Allen, and we got a quarterback to go over in rushing yards between Drake Maye and Justin Herbert.

But let’s start with Saturday night’s NFC North rematch with the Bears and Packers.

Packers’ Josh Jacobs (Over 75.5 Rushing Yards)

Saturday, January 10, 2026 – 08:00 PM ET

The Packers did not end the regular season well with a 4-game losing streak. Jordan Love is just coming back from a concussion, and in the game he was injured at Chicago, the Packers had a season-high 192 rushing yards after rushing for 117 yards in the first matchup two weeks earlier.

Part of the reason they got to 192 was backup Malik Willis rushing for 44 yards, which Love won’t do. But the thought process needs to be the same in that you pound the rock in windy Chicago on a January night, and you make things easier on Love coming off a concussion.

Josh Jacobs was not healthy that night and finished with 36 yards, but they got him rest in Week 18, and he should be ready to roll against a Chicago defense that is 27th in rushing yards allowed.

Jacobs had 81 rushing yards at Philadelphia last postseason despite a bad game from Love. This is the kind of matchup you got him for, so the Packers need to use him frequently.

Expert Pick: Josh Jacobs Over 75.5 Rushing Yards (-110) at Bovada

Bills’ Josh Allen (Under 229.5 Passing Yards)

Sunday, January 11, 2026 – 01:00 PM ET

There’s a lot of media pressure on Josh Allen to earn his claim to the top quarterback spot by getting to a Super Bowl in a postseason where Patrick Mahomes is finally not there. But his first matchup is on the road, where he’s 0-4 in the playoffs, and it’s against a tough Jacksonville team that is second in takeaways (31).

The Bills come in with the No. 1 rushing offense with James Cook, a great matchup for Jacksonville’s No. 1 run defense. That might make it sound like a great day for Allen to shine and throw the ball more, but on the road this year, Allen has 6 games where he didn’t pass for 195 yards.

In his other two road games, he failed to lead the offense to 20 points, so the road struggles have been real all year.

The Jaguars are playing really well and should have a plan for Allen, who is nursing a foot injury after taking some incredibly bad sacks the last two games. That’s why we’re trusting the Jaguars to hold him under 229.5 passing yards.

Expert Pick: Josh Allen Under 229.5 Passing Yards (-115) at Bovada

Chargers’ Justin Herbert (Over 29.5 Rushing Yards)

Sunday, January 11, 2026 – 08:00 PM ET

It’s been a wild season for Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert.

Despite the Chargers using 32 different offensive line combinations and him facing the most pressure because of it, he has the Chargers right back in the wild card round with an 11-6 record as he seeks his first playoff win.

One way Herbert has managed the pressure is to scramble more than ever.

He has a career-high 498 rushing yards and has gone over 29.5 rushing yards in 9-of-16 games. He also got Week 18 off to rest that hand, which he showed us he isn’t afraid to run with after scrambling 10 times for 66 yards a week after surgery against the Eagles.

Herbert can’t press this week and he can’t force throws for interceptions like he had 4 of in Houston last postseason. So, the safe thing to do is to run when the opportunity presents itself, and that’s why he should be a good bet to run for 30 yards.

Expert Pick: Justin Herbert Over 29.5 Rushing Yards (-115) at Bovada
