It was another tumultuous week in the NFL and below we will put it all together and deliver our Top 10 power rankings after Week 10. Let’s take a look at where we believe the cream of the crop stands after beginning the second half of the season.
Remember you can go over our nifty tool explanation with our Week 1 post and remember to check back every Tuesday for analysis of the adjustment in the positions. Now, let’s review our Top 10 teams and see if you agree.

1. Tampa Bay Bucs (6-3 SU, 3-6 ATS) Next: vs. Giants – Now there’s an upset few saw coming! The Bucs had two weeks to lick their wounds, courtesy of their bye week, after getting upset by the Saints so the conventional wisdom was that they would be roaring to go against one of the league’s weak sisters. After the 29-19 loss to Washington, the Super Bowl champs don’t have any wiggle room if they want to stay atop the mountain.
2. Buffalo Bills (6-3 SU, 6-3 ATS) Next: vs. Colts –The Bills rebounded from their most humiliating loss of the season, a 9-6 loss to the Jaguars, to bring it big time last week in a 45-17 evisceration of the lowly New York Jets. This week won’t be nearly as easy against a solid Colts’ squad.
3. New England Patriots (6-4 SU, 6-4 ATS) Next: at Falcons – Ah, excuse me? Wasn’t the Patriots dynasty dead, the Evil Genius buried in his hoodie, and all those annoying new England fans would have to endure mediocrity for a thousand years? Well, not so fast because the Patriots may have plucked the steal of the first round at No.15 when they selected Mac Jones as the heir-apparent to Tom Terrific. The Pats have now won four straight including last week’s 45-7 thrashing of the Browns. Look out world, they’re baaaack.
4. Tennessee Titans (8-2 SU, 7-3 ATS) Next: vs. Texans – The Titans are the hottest team in the league, having won six straight, soon to be seven after they throttle the lowly Texans this week. Their 23-21 win over the Saints last week was emblematic of their team, gritty not pretty.
5. Green Bay Packers (8-2 SU, 9-1 ATS) Next: at Vikings – If you’ve been blindly tailing the Packers in your NFL picks this season then you have grown to love these cash cows. Their fans are ecstatic too as the Packers now have their starter, Aaron Rodgers, back after a cantankerous Covid controversy that kept him out in a 14-7 listless loss to the Chiefs. But with Rodgers back under center and pulling the trigger, we saw a more inspired 17-0 win over the Seahawks in Week 10.

6. New Orleans (5-4 SU, 5-4 ATS) Next: at Eagles – The Saints mounted a too little too late rally in the fourth quarter in last week 23-21 loss to the Titans but you have to respect this team that lost their starting quarterback and has more injuries than a MASH unit. Based on their remaining schedule, next week’s tilt with the Eagles could determine whether this gritty group will be a playoff entry or on the outside looking when the curtain closes on the regular season.
7. Kansas City Chiefs (6-4 SU, 3-7 ATS) Next: vs. Cowboys – After stumbling throughout the 2021 season, the potent offense we have been expecting finally emerged in the Chiefs’ 41-14 blitz of the Raiders last week. It was Kansas City’s most complete game of the year but they better be ready for the Cowboys shooting their way into Arrowhead this week.
8. Arizona Cardinals (8-2 SU, 7-3 ATS) Next: at Seahawks – Whoa! Did anyone see this coming, the Cardinals 34-10 loss to the Panthers last week? According to the NFL odds at kickoff, Arizona was a 10 ½ point home favorite over Carolina but nobody accounted for the resurrection of Superman – the Panthers’ old friend, Cam Newton. Truth be told it was more about a woeful team effort than Newton himself, but the Cards better be ready to play when they travel to meet Russell Wilson and the Seahawks this week.
9. Dallas Cowboys (7-2 SU, 8-1 ATS) Next: at Chiefs – The Cowboys are steamrolling their way to an NFC East title after a stunning 43-3 dismantling of the Falcons last week. Dak Prescott is livin’ large and in charge of the league’s most devastating offense and the matchup against the Chiefs in hostile territory will tell the tale of whether this team is a contender or a pretender.
10. San Francisco 49ers (4-5 SU, 3-6 ATS) Next: at Jaguars – The 49ers are coming off of their most impressive performance to date after a dominating 31-10 victory over their division rivals, the LA Rams. San Francisco should continue to get well with a meeting in Jacksonville this week but after that, the road gets bumpy as they host the Vikings in Week 12 followed by stops in Seattle and Cincinnati.
