NCAAB Player Futures Odds

College basketball player futures give NCAAB fans the option to bet on their favorite players. You can bet on the future Naismith College Player of the Year, or the Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player. You can also bet on other college basketball futures, like who will win March Madness.

Every year, there are a few college basketball players that separate themselves from a loaded crowd. Some go on to become high-ranking draft prospects, while others stick around and dominate for another season or two.

NCAA basketball player futures allow you to call your shot ahead of time and identify these players before they’re given a prestigious honor like the Wooden Award. And with OddsTrader, you can ensure you’re getting the best value every time.

Compare NCAA Basketball Player Futures Bets

Using our NCAAB player futures odds grid, you can compare betting lines for Wooden Award odds, Naismith Award odds, and more.

Simply scroll through the odds grid until you find the player you’re looking for, then compare odds from each of the available sportsbooks. OddsTrader only sources betting lines from the best legal U.S. sportsbooks, and they’re updated several times per minute to ensure you’re always looking at the latest odds.

You can also see how odds have shifted over time by tapping on any player’s name. Perhaps they started as a top contender and have fallen down the leaderboard since the season started? In any case, it’s pertinent to have that information on hand before placing your bet.

Frequently Asked Questions

College basketball player futures can be complex bets. If you have more questions about how they work, check out some of our answers below.

What’s the difference between the Wooden Award and Naismith Award?

The Wooden Award and Naismith Award are two separate awards, but they’re essentially the same thing. The Naismith Award predates the Wooden Award, but both recognize the most outstanding men’s and women’s players in college basketball.

Most sportsbooks post odds for the Wooden Award, not the Naismith Award, so that’s something to be mindful of when tracking potential winners.

Can multiple players win the Wooden Award?

Unlike other awards, the Wooden Award is only given to a single player each year. One men’s player and one women’s player receive the honor. The first men’s Wooden Award was given out for the 1976-77 season, while the first women’s Wooden Award was given out for the 2003-04 season.

Who won the Wooden Award in 2025?

Duke forward Cooper Flagg won the Wooden Award for the 2024-25 men’s college basketball season, while USC guard JuJu Watkins received the award for the 2024-25 women’s college basketball season.
