The speedster has been reasonably productive relative to Trevor Lawrence's uneven performances thus far this season, as Davis heads into a Week 4 road matchup against the Texans on Sunday with an 8-123 line on 16 targets.

Davis led Jacksonville with seven targets, though he failed to show the same connection with Trevor Lawrence displayed in Week 1. Like his time in Buffalo, Davis looks to be an inconsistent pass-catching option that is reliant primarily on big plays for production.

Davis managed a team-high yardage total in his Jaguars regular-season debut, securing grabs of 22, 20 and 20 yards that fit perfectly with his downfield profile. The veteran speedster is expected to help replace the speed component provided by the departed Calvin Ridley a year ago, and he'll look to garner some chunk plays again versus a talented Browns secondary in a Week 2 home matchup.

Davis was unable to record a catch on either of his targets in Friday's 31-0 preseason win over the Falcons.

New England's defensive game plan had the entire Bills offense in a difficult spot, with Josh Allen producing just 169 yards and one interception through the air and the leading rusher (James Cook) held to 48 yards. Perhaps the Bills would have thrown with more urgency if the Patriots offense had proved more threatening, but in this game the Buffalo defense did most of the necessary lifting, producing four turnovers and scoring on one. A road game against Miami in Week 18 could require more passing from Buffalo, and perhaps with that Davis might find more opportunity than he did against New England on Sunday.

Davis recorded four receptions on six targets for 130 yards and one touchdown in Saturday's 24-22 win over the Chargers.

Davis entered Saturday's contest having recorded zero catches in four of his last six games, but he was the key to Buffalo's passing attack in Saturday's win. He accounted for each of the team's four longest gains from scrimmage, the highlight of which was a 57-yard touchdown catch early in the second quarter when he got behind the Los Angeles secondary and dragged a defender into the end zone. Davis is the epitome of a boom-bust fantasy option, as he's now topped 100 receiving yards in two of his last four games.

Davis failed to reel in his lone target in Sunday's 31-10 win over the Cowboys.

Davis was held without a catch for the second straight week and for the fourth time this season. The veteran wideout saw just one target in the contest despite playing the most offensive snaps (49) of any Bills' pass catcher. Davis' lack of consistency in Buffalo's offense make him extremely difficult to trust for the fantasy playoffs. With that said, Davis will look to be more of a factor when the Bills visit the Chargers in Week 16.

Davis was held without a catch on two targets in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Chiefs.

While Davis posted a slick 6-105-1 line in Week 12 heading into the Bills' bye, he's now been shut out in two out of the last three contests. He's become an all-or-nothing type of fantasy play -- he has six or more catches in four outings this season but three or less in the other nine games. He's also fallen behind high-upside rookie Dalton Kincaid in the pecking order, seemingly putting Davis as the No. 4 option in the passing game once you factor in Stefon Diggs and James Cook. Davis can pop at any moment, especially when teams fail to give him much attention, but he's sure going to be tough to trust with a fantasy playoff outcome on the line.

Davis caught six of 12 targets for 105 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 37-34 overtime loss to the Eagles.

It was the best performance of the season for Davis in terms of yardage, but despite his impressive totals it was one of the balls that he didn't catch that could haunt the Bills -- on 3rd-and-six from the Eagles' 22-yard line in OT, Josh Allen tried to beat a blitz by throwing to a wide-open Davis for what would have been a game-winning TD, but the receiver turned the wrong way while the ball was in the air. The fourth-year wideout heads into Buffalo's bye with six touchdowns, one short of his career high, but his erratic weekly numbers -- he's caught two passes or less in four of the last six games -- have left him on pace to fall short of 1,000 yards once again, as well as making him tough to utilize on fantasy rosters outside of best-ball formats.

Davis failed to record a single target in Sunday's 32-6 win over the Jets.

Davis was held without a target for the first time this season, putting up his second goose egg in 11 games. Despite playing the most offensive snaps (67) of any receiver, the veteran could not connect with Josh Allen in what ended up being a blowout victory for the Bills. Davis has proven to be a talented playmaker in his time with Buffalo, but his lack of consistency make him difficult to trust on a weekly basis. The 24-year-old has the potential to put up huge numbers in any given week, but starting him on fantasy rosters is certainly risky business. Davis will look to bounce back in Week 12 when the Bills take on the Eagles.

Davis brought in two of six targets for 56 yards in the Bills' 24-22 loss to the Broncos on Monday night. He also caught a two-point conversion pass.

Davis' yardage total, relatively modest as it was, still served as a team-high figure on a night when Josh Allen threw for only 177 yards. The speedy wideout also recorded the longest gain of the night through the air for Buffalo in the form via a 38-yard grab, and he managed to give a minor boost to his fantasy production with his two-point conversion catch following Dalton Kincaid's second-quarter touchdown. Davis' numbers have fluctuated significantly over the last four games, as he posted just one reception for six yards on seven targets in Weeks 7 and 9, forgettable performances he sandwiched around a 9-87-1 line in Week 8 against the Buccaneers.

Davis failed to reel in either of his two targets in Sunday's 24-18 loss to the Bengals.

A week after recording season-highs in both targets (12) and receptions (9), Davis was held without a catch for the first time this season. The fact that the veteran wideout earned just two targets in the contest on a day when Josh Allen attempted 38 passes is concerning, further highlighting the up-and-down nature of his usage in the Bills passing attack this season. With that said, Davis is always a threat to find the end zone, as he has amassed five touchdowns through nine games. The 24-year-old's inconsistency makes him difficult to trust in fantasy, but he's proven that he can be a difference maker in Buffalo's high-powered offense. Davis will look to have a bounce-back performance when the Bills host the Broncos in Week 10.

Davis brought in nine of 12 targets for 87 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' 24-18 win over the Buccaneers on Thursday night.

Davis tied with Stefon Diggs for the team lead in receptions and targets while checking in second in receiving yards. The speedster also produced his fifth touchdown of the season on a four-yard scoring grab in the third quarter, and his catch total was highest of the campaign. Davis' night represented a major resurgence from his season-worst one-catch, six-yard effort against the Patriots in Week 7, and he could once again play a major role in a Week 9 road matchup against the Bengals on Sunday, Nov. 5.

Davis caught one of five targets for six yards in Sunday's 29-25 loss to the Patriots.

Davis struggled to get much going Sunday despite seeing the third-most targets and playing the most offensive snaps (68) of any Bills pass catcher. After a strong start to the season, the veteran wideout has cooled down over the past two weeks, with his six yards setting a new low mark so far in this season. Nonetheless, Davis will look to bounce back in Week 8 when the Bills host the Buccaneers.

Davis caught three of four targets for 21 yards while losing a fumble in Sunday's 14-9 win over the Giants.

Davis' impressive touchdown streak came to an abrupt halt at four games following Sunday's stinker. The deep threat finished with his lowest yardage total of the season while also coughing up a fumble, barely scraping together a positive score in most fantasy formats. Even with the rough outing, Davis still owns a respectable 24/362/4 receiving line through six weeks. The Bills' No. 2 receiver could be primed for a bounce-back game against the Patriots next Sunday, who have historically shaded defensive coverages towards the opposition's No. 1 option.

Davis caught six of eight targets for 100 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 25-20 loss to the Jaguars.

The fourth-year wideout did most of his damage in the second half as the Bills tried to mount a comeback, hauling in a 19-yard TD with just over four minutes left in the fourth quarter. The score extended Davis' touchdown streak to four games, a stretch in which he's posted a 16-288-4 line on 22 targets. While he's still the No. 2 option for Josh Allen behind Stefon Diggs, there's more than enough production available in the Buffalo passing game for both receivers. Davis stands an excellent chance of extending his TD streak to five contests in Week 6 against the struggling Giants.

Davis brought in all three targets for 61 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' 48-20 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.

Davis saw fellow wideout Stefon Diggs steal the spotlight with a 6-120-3 line on the day, but it was actually the former that scored the first six of Buffalo's 48 points on an 18-yard touchdown grab to cap off the first drive of the afternoon. Davis added another pair of catches and now has found the end zone in three consecutive contests heading into a Week 5 London battle against the Jaguars.

Davis caught one of four targets for a 35-yard touchdown and rushed once for minus-2 yards in Sunday's 37- 3 win over the Commanders.

Davis' 35-yard touchdown in the first quarter gave him a receiving score in consecutive games, but he failed to record another catch in the blowout win. Stefon Diggs has 32 targets to Davis' 15 through three games, but the Bills may need big games from both of Josh Allen's top two wide receivers in Week 4 to keep pace with an undefeated Dolphins team coming off a 70-point performance.

Davis recorded six receptions on seven targets for 92 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 38-10 win over the Raiders.

Davis bounced back from a quiet Week 1 performance to deliver a few big plays in Buffalo's blowout win. He accounted for the team's longest gain from scrimmage with a 40-yard catch down the right sideline late in the fourth quarter. Earlier in the contest, Davis caught a two-yard touchdown to put the Bills up 28-10. He was a boom-bust player in a full-time role in 2022, and a similar outcome appears on tap for the current campaign.

Davis caught two of four targets for 32 yards in Monday's 22-16 overtime loss to the Jets.

Davis was blanketed by arguably the best secondary in the NFL and finished a distant second on the Bills in receiving yards behind Stefon Diggs (102). Buffalo's No. 2 wide receiver behind Diggs should have better days ahead, beginning with a Week 2 home game against the Raiders. The inconsistent Davis was held under 40 yards eight times last season, but he had at least 74 yards and a touchdown in four of his seven other appearances.

Davis caught one of four targets for 15 yards in Saturday's preseason game at Chicago.

Davis and a number of other starters played two or three drives, while superstars Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs came out after RB Damien Harris scored a TD on the opening series. Davis gets a tough matchup to start the regular season with Buffalo traveling to the Meadowlands for Monday Night Football against a Jets defense led by CBs Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed. Last year, Davis caught five of nine targets for 64 yards in two matchups with the Jets.

Davis said Thursday that he feels much healthier entering the 2023 season compared to last year, when he fought through a nagging ankle injury for much of the season, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports. Davis missed action in Week 2 and in Week 17, the latter when he was rested for the playoffs, but otherwise gutted through the injury, perhaps more than the public knew during a 48-836-7 regular season. That was still his best of three NFL campaigns, but one that was seen as a disappointment by many given his starting role in a top offense. He's got almost no competition for the No. 2 role this season, which makes Davis a decent bounce-back candidate for 2023.

Davis caught two of four targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 27-10 loss to the Bengals in the AFC divisional round.

Davis had an impressive catch of 25 yards toward the end of the second quarter, but he overall was one of many Bills offensive weapons to struggle in the snow. In fact, top wideout Stefon Diggs didn't fare much better than Davis, catching four passes for only 35 yards. While starting all 15 games he played in the regular season, Davis hauled in 48 of 93 yards for 836 yards and seven scores, marking his best campaign yet despite still carrying weekly inconsistencies. With 2023 slated to be the final year of his rookie contract, Davis will strive to continue his ascent and earn a lucrative new deal.

Davis caught six of nine targets for 113 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-31 win over the Dolphins in the wild-card round.

Davis' display was highlighted by a toe-tapping, 23-yard touchdown during the third quarter to extend Buffalo's lead. After exploding for 201 yards and four touchdowns in his last playoff game, Davis made another strong impact while returning to the postseason Sunday. With both he and Stefon Diggs topping 100 receiving yards, the Bills' starting wideouts now approach the AFC divisional round in fine form.

The speedster's catch and yardage totals were his second lowest of the season, and the trip to the end zone was only his second since Week 6. Davis will aim to reverse the the troublesome trend of three straight games of declining yardage over that of the previous contest when he faces the tough Jets secondary in a Week 14 home divisional showdown a week from Sunday.

Davis caught four of five targets for 38 yards in Thursday's 28-25 win over the Lions.

The third-year receiver took a back seat to Stefon Diggs and Isaiah McKenzie in this one as he failed to reach 40 receiving yards for the third time in the last five games. Davis' downturn has coincided with Josh Allen's elbow issues, but he remains a big-play threat heading into a Week 13 road clash with the Patriots.

Davis brought in five of seven targets for 68 yards in the Bills' 31-23 win over the Browns on Sunday.

Davis checked in second in receptions and receiving yards on the afternoon for the Bills while sharing the team lead in targets with Dawson Knox. The speedster also had a drop that would have made his day even bigger, but he'll still head into Thursday's return to Ford Field for a Week 12 Thanksgiving showdown against the Lions with an 11-161-1 line over his last two games.

Davis caught six of nine targets for 93 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-30 overtime loss to the Vikings.

Davis scored from 11 yards out with 28 seconds left in the first half to give the Bills a 24-10 lead, but Minnesota came back in the second half and pulled it out in overtime as Buffalo's offense was bogged down by a trio of Josh Allen turnovers. It has been an up-and-down season for Davis, who has 352 receiving yards and four touchdowns across his best three games -- including this one -- and only 192 yards with one touchdown over the other five. He'll maintain a high ceiling when the Bills host the Browns in Week 11.

Davis caught two of five targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Jets.

Davis was kept in check by the stingy Jets secondary. His big-play ability coupled with Josh Allen's arm strength give Davis an immense ceiling, but his floor is far lower than that of Stefon Diggs, who led the team in targets (10), catches (five) and receiving yards (93). Davis and the Bills will host the Vikings in Week 10.

Davis had two receptions (seven targets) for 35 yards in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Packers.

Davis was held in check after exploding for 185 yards and three touchdowns in the two games before returning from the bye week. Green Bay boasts one of the best secondaries in the NFL, so it was going to be a tough matchup for Josh Allen's favorite downfield threat. Top corners Jaire Alexander and Rasul Douglas each made huge breakups on deep balls to Davis at different points of the contest, one of which would have been a signature long bomb for a score had Davis been able to get his second foot down in the back of the end zone. In the end, it was a disappointing stat line for the breakout fantasy wideout. Davis will get a chance to rebound against the Jets next Sunday.

Davis caught three of six targets for 74 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-20 win over Kansas City.

While he didn't see anywhere near the volume Stefon Diggs did, Davis still made a big impact on the game, scoring Buffalo's first TD of the afternoon on a 34-yard rocket down the sideline from Josh Allen. The third-year wideout continues his breakout campaign, and Davis will head into Buffalo's Week 7 bye on pace for over 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Davis secured three of six targets for 171 yards and two touchdowns in the Bills' 38-3 win over the Steelers on Sunday.

Davis comfortably led the Bills in receiving yards thanks to 98- and 62-yard touchdown grabs in the first and second quarters, respectively, a pair of plays where his elite speed was on display. The two splash scores should put any doubts as to the health of Davis' previously ailing ankle to rest, and he'll next take aim at the Chiefs' defense in a Week 6 road showdown that should feature plenty of aggressive offense.

It was his first full practice since Week 1 and sets the stage for Davis to enter Sunday's game against the Steelers without an injury designation. He's averaging only 4.7 targets through three appearances, but there's rebound potential now that Davis is healthier and fellow Bills wide receivers Jamison Crowder (ankle) and Isaiah McKenzie (concussion) are injured. The matchup also looks good, especially for a downfield-oriented receiver, as each of Pittsburgh's top five defensive backs is listed on the injury report this week. Cornerback Akhello Witherspoon (hamstring) and safeties Minkah Fitzpatrick (knee) and Terrell Edmunds (concussion) were absent from practice to start the week, while CBs Cameron Sutton (groin) and Levi Wallace (foot) were limited.

The speedster was once again questionable with an ankle issue coming into the day, but he was able to play through it without any obvious issue. However, the Ravens' defense made life more difficult than usual on Josh Allen, leading to Davis' meager showing. He'll look to bounce back from his season-low totals at the expense of the Steelers defense in a Week 5 home matchup.

However, after aggravating his ankle injury since then, perJoe Buscaglia of The Athletic, the wideout missed practice Thursday, before returning to a limited session, after which Davis relayed that his ankle felt good and that he intended to play Sunday. With that outcome now confirmed, Davis is slated to work opposite top wideout Stefon Diggs and barring any in-game setbacks should see his share of snaps and targets from QB Josh Allen versus a Baltimore defense that has allowed a league-high average of 353.3 passing yards through the first three games of the 2022 season.

The speedster would go on to finish second in receptions and receiving yards to Diggs, and he also recorded the second-longest catch of the night, a 47-yard reception on the first play of the fourth quarter that helped set up a Bills touchdown. The start to Davis' tenure as the No. 2 receiver got off to a rousing start, one he'll look to build on at the expense of the Titans in a Week 2 home matchup on Monday night, Sept. 19.

Davis caught two receptions for 47 yards and one touchdown on three targets in Buffalo's preseason game against Denver on Saturday.

Davis' first two years in the NFL were encouraging and by all accounts he continues to build momentum as he heads into his third season, his first as starter. Be it training camp reports or preseason action, there's seemingly only good news to be found as Davis prepares to break out in 2022.

Davis continues to stand out during training camp, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports. Said offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey on Tuesday: "Great mentally, as smart as any receiver I've been around, and works his tail off. So I think that's why you see that trajectory with him continue to get better and better and better each year because he's never complacent."

Davis served as the No. 4 wide receiver for most of last season, but with Emmanuel Sanders and Cole Beasley not in the mix for 2022, he's now a clear-cut No. 2 alongside star receiver Stefon Diggs. If Davis sees a lot of single coverage, he's going to be able to put up strong numbers all season. He also has a nose for the end zone with 13 TD catches over his first two regular seasons, and that's not including the four-TD game he posted in the gut-wrenching loss to the Chiefs in last season's playoffs. Davis has jumped way up in draft rankings all summer, and rightfully so, but we'll at least spread one word of caution to go with all the good news -- the Bills have plenty of other weapons (Dawson Knox, Devin Singletary, rookie James Cook, Josh Allen's running ability, etc.) and have the potential to be playing from ahead in a number of games. You'll want to target Davis if your league isn't quite up to speed on his third-year potential, but don't feel bad about letting him go if someone slots him way too high.

Though Diggs remains the team's clear-cut top wideout, as the projected No. 2 option, Davis has the potential to move up the fantasy ranks this year while catching passes from a quality signal caller in Josh Allen.

Davis caught eight of 10 targets for 201 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 42-36 overtime loss to the Chiefs.

Davis caught all four of Josh Allen's passing touchdowns, scoring from 18, 75, 27 and 19 yards out. The last two touchdowns both gave the Bills the lead within the final two minutes of regulation, only for the Chiefs to answer both times. Buffalo never got a chance to respond in overtime, as Kansas City won the coin toss and drove it down for a game-winning touchdown. Davis emerged as a consistent contributor in Buffalo's offense down the stretch and took his game to another level in this one, leaving a strong final impression to close out his sophomore season. With the big-armed Allen slinging it his way, Davis' fantasy arrow is pointing up.

Davis caught three of 14 targets for 39 yards in Sunday's 27-10 win over the Jets.

The second-year wideout tied Stefon Diggs for the team lead in targets on the day, but Davis did far less with the volume than Buffalo's No. 1 receiver. He wraps up the regular season with 35 catches on 63 targets for 549 yards and six TDs, numbers nearly identical to his production as a rookie, and Davis' role in the postseason will depend largely on the health of Emmanuel Sanders (knee), who sat out three of the Bills' last four games.

Davis brought in all three targets for 40 yards in the Bills' 29-15 win over the Falcons on Sunday.

Davis saw an elevated role with Emmanuel Sanders (knee) out but couldn't parlay it into appreciable production. The speedster's reception and receiving yardage were second on the team to those of Stefon Diggs' totals in those categories, but they weren't anything that was going to put fantasy managers over the top in their championship games. Davis will have one more opportunity to tune up for the postseason in a Week 18 finale against the vulnerable Jets secondary.

Davis is a candidate to start and see a high snap share Sunday against Atlanta with Emmanuel Sanders (knee) inactive for the contest, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.

Davis had been catching fire prior to missing Week 16 due to being placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, as he had caught a total of four touchdowns in three games leading up to that designation. Amended NFL protocol will allow the second-year wideout to re-take the field against the Falcons, who are a bottom-3 team in terms of fantasy points allowed to wide receivers in PPR formats. Not only is the matchup favorable, but Davis will presumably get to work as a WR3 behind Stefon Digs and Cole Beasley. With Buffalo often using three wide receiver sets, the opportunity will at least be there to recapture the momentum he had been building in Weeks 13-15.

The Bills activated Davis (illness) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.

Davis was initially expected to miss two games since he's unvaccinated and tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday. However, he'll be eligible to return to practice Wednesday and suit up Sunday against Atlanta after the NFL adjusted its rules for unvaccinated players returning to game action. Cole Beasley (illness) was also activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, so Davis should slot into his usual role in Week 17.

Davis, who was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday after testing positive for the virus, won't be available for games Sunday against the Patriots or Week 17 against the Falcons due to his status as an unvaccinated player, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Davis and Cole Beasley are both following the protocols for unvaccinated players and must quarantine for 10 days after their positive tests Friday and Tuesday, respectively. Because Beasley tested positive earlier in the week, his 10-day period will conclude prior to the Jan. 2 game against the Falcons, while Davis won't be cleared until a day after that. Though Buffalo received good news with Emmanuel Sanders (knee) practicing fully and thus looking likely to play this weekend, the team's depth beyond Sanders and No. 1 wideout Stefon Diggs is now being tested. Look for Isaiah McKenzie to pick up snaps out of the slot in place of Beasley, while Jake Kumerow and potentially Marquez Stevenson pick up more reps on the perimeter.

Davis' teammate Cole Beasley was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday.

The early thought is Beasley is set to miss Sunday's game in New England. While we'll await official word on that, starting receiver Emmanuel Sanders (knee) seems like a sketchy proposition for that game as well, meaning if Davis is somehow still on your league's waiver wire you'll want to queue that up. The second-year wideout has four touchdowns over his last three games -- even if the matchup proves to be as tough as it seems on paper, Davis looks to be out there for at least 85 percent of the offensive plays. Davis has either a TD catch or 100 receiving yards in all four games where he's seen at least half the offensive snaps this season.

Davis caught five passes for 85 yards and two touchdowns on seven targets against Carolina on Sunday.

Davis stepped into the starting role normally held by Emmanuel Sanders (knee) and thrived, even scoring one of his touchdowns against feared corner Stephon Gilmore (though Gilmore seemed confused on the coverage that play, to be fair). Going back to his rookie year Davis has been almost automatic with his otherwise inconsistent usage, so it will be interesting to see if the Bills get him more playing time going forward even after Sanders' eventual return. The Bills tried to use Sanders as their main downfield receiver this year, but at 34 it's possible that Sanders just isn't as good at that role at this point as Davis might be. With that said, if the Bills don't change their wide receiver depth chart a bit then Davis might go back to a bench role whenever Sanders returns.

Davis is expected to join Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Panthers with Emmanuel Sanders (knee) expected to miss the contest, Sal Maiorana of the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports.

The Bills have yet to officially rule Sanders out for the home game versus Carolina, but he hasn't taken part in either of the team's first two practices of Week 15 and was labeled week-to-week after picking up the knee injury in last Sunday's overtime loss to the Buccaneers. While Sanders was sidelined for the entire second half of that contest, Davis stepped in and had a major role in the Bills' comeback bid. He scored on a four-yard touchdown reception with just under five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter to cut the Bills' deficit to three, then reeled in a pass on the team's final drive of regulation to convert on fourth down and set up a game-tying field goal. All told, Davis played 84 percent of the offensive snaps and finished with eight targets, both of which were season highs. With dual-threat quarterback Josh Allen nursing a toe injury that could limit his involvement as a runner this week and the team's running backs not inspiring much confidence of late, the Bills could continue to lean int

That makes back-to-back weeks with scores for the second-year wideout, who could see a boost in role if veteran Emmanuel Sanders is held out of action in Week 15. Davis only has one 100-yard game his season, but he's found the end zone four times after doing so seven times as a rookie. The Bills have a few plays they like to dial up where they look Davis' way in the red zone.

Davis opened the scoring for Buffalo with a 14-yard touchdown during the first quarter, marking his third end-zone trip of the campaign. He also made another catch later on, meeting his usual yardage standard despite wind gusts of around 50 miles per hour heavily restricting the passing game. Davis will now hope his personal momentum from scoring Monday will translate into another positive showing versus the Buccaneers in Week 14.

With tight end Dawson Knox back in the fold and presumably ready to take on more targets down the stretch, Davis will remain a hit-or-miss option in a crowded offense, where he works as the fourth receiver and the fifth or sixth option in a high-powered passing game. The yardage total blew right past Davis' previous high of 40 this season, but it's worth noting he's had more than three targets in a game only twice in 2021, plus he put up a 0-0-0 line just a week ago.

Davis failed to haul in either of his two targets in Sunday's 9-6 loss to Jacksonville.

Davis couldn't follow up his modestly decent 4-29-1 line in the Week 8 win over Miami, and this was the third doughnut the second-year wideout has put up this season. With tight end Dawson Knox seemingly on the mend, Davis' opportunities for increased targets won't be getting much better any time soon. He's a good young receiver but is living in a crowded house, so his only iota of value lies in the occasional touchdown dart or if you can afford to keep a reserve spot with the thought that Stefon Diggs, Emmanuel Sanders or Cole Beasley could eventually hit the shelf.

Davis caught four of five targets for 29 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-11 win over the Dolphins.

It's been a pretty dry season for Davis as the clear No. 4 wide receiver, though he did seem to pick up extra targets this week in the absence of tight end Dawson Knox, whose status remains uncertain due to a broken hand. Davis saw action on 44 percent of the offensive plays. While the second-year wideout hans't gone over 40 yards in a game this season, we'll see if he remains more involved should Knox miss more time. HIs only other path to fantasy relevance seems to be an injury to either Stefon Diggs, Emmanuel Sanders or Cole Beasley, all of whom are much more involved in the weekly game plan than Davis.

Davis caught both of his targets for 25 yards during Monday's 34-31 loss to Tennessee.

Sadly, this was Davis' second-best game of the season, as he's fallen behind several other options in the Buffalo passing game following a strong rookie campaign. The Bills head to their bye for Week 7, while those holding out hope for Davis' resurgence should pay attention to Dawson Knox's status, as the starting tight end suffered a hand injury Monday and any potential absence could be something that starts yielding Davis more than the infrequent looks he's been receiving to date.

Davis failed to bring in his only target during Sunday's 40-0 win over Houston.

Davis was one of the few Bills who didn't get in on the scoring frenzy, failing to catch a pass for the second time this season despite playing 43 percent of the snaps on offense. Despite a pleasantly surprising rookie season, Davis has been pushed down in this high-powered and currently healthy offense in his second NFL campaign. Part of that stems from the emergence of tight end Dawson Knox, who's now a regular presence in the passing game, plus Emmanuel Sanders is a viable No. 2 receiver after the Bills spent 2020 looking for deeper weapons like Davis due to former Bills wideout John Brown being hurt most of the season.

Davis caught his only target for 23 yards in Sunday's win over Washington.

While the game was a blowout win for the Bills, the fact that Davis only saw 23 offensive snaps is a bit of a concern. Perhaps the team was just taking it easy on Davis' minor ankle injury, but he's only received six targets through three games and has been on the field for 33 percent (Week 2) and 29 percent (Week 3) of the offensive snaps the last two games. With Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley, Emmanuel Sanders and perhaps even tight end Dawson Knox all ahead of Davis in the passing game pecking order, the second-year wideout may be best off left on the bench for now.

Davis (ankle) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game against Washington

Davis has been impacted by an ankle injury the past two weeks, with the second-year wide receiver logging limited practices Wednesday and Thursday. Fortunately for Davis, he managed every rep to wrap up Week 3 prep, clearing him to suit up this weekend. He's served as the Bills' No. 4 WR this season en route to two catches (on five targets) for 40 yards and one TD, all of which occurred in the opener.

Davis' limited participation shouldn't be a concern as the second-year wideout logged a pair of limited sessions before being active for Week 2. However, the 22-year-old played in only 21 offensive snaps and didn't receive a target after registering 43 snaps and five targets during Week 1. It's worth monitoring his status throughout the week, but he will likely be active for Sunday's contest against Washington.

Davis put up a 35-599-7 line as a rookie last season with similar third/fourth WR treatment.

Davis was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday afternoon.

The Bills also activated WR Cole Beasley and DTs Vernon Butler and Star Lotulelei. It's unclear if any of them will play in Saturday's preseason game against Green Bay, but all four should be fine for Week 1 versus the Steelers. Davis likely will open the year as Buffalo's No. 4 wide receiver, but in an offense that uses four-wide sets more than most, rotating in behind three starters who are 27, 32 and 34 years old.

It might not be the prettiest week of practice in Buffalo, but there's a good chance QB Josh Allen has each of his top-four wideouts healthy for the season opener against Pittsburgh on Sept. 12. Seemingly the No. 4 receiver, Davis figures to get some snaps every week but might need an injury in front of him to see enough volume for mainstream fantasy value.

Davis was held off the stat sheet in the team's preseason opener but got more involved in Saturday's contest. He showed a connection with Mitchell Trubisky, recording a reception of 13 yards and a pair of eight-yard catches. Davis is entering his second season in the NFL after posting a promising line of 35 receptions for 599 yards and seven touchdowns in his rookie campaign. The team added Emmanuel Sanders this offseason, meaning Davis may find it difficult to take a big step forward in 2021.

The only real cause for concern is if Brown remains part of the team's plan for 2021, as Davis would sit fourth (behind Stefon Diggs, Brown and Beasley) in the WR pecking order entering Week 1. But how often do three veteran receivers all stay healthy for long stretches?

The Bills attempted to involve Davis more than the stat line would indicate, as quarterback Josh Allen was often looking his way even on plays that didn't up with a throw to Davis or were negated by penalties. He's been mostly a touchdown-dependent deep-league play since John Brown went out with an ankle injury, and Davis' managers will be dealing with some extra variables for Week 17, as Brown could return from the reserve/COVID-19 list, plus the team only has seeding at stake with a playoff spot well secured.

That keeps Davis as the No. 3 guy in the wide receiver pecking order behind Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley for at least one more game, Monday at New England. Davis didn't do much of anything on five targets last week with just two catches for 18 yards, but he scored a TD in the three games prior, all of them with Brown out due to an ankle injury. Davis has played at least 83 percent of the defensive snaps in the four most recent games Brown has missed.

Davis' five targets ranked third on the team, but he finished just fifth in receiving output while seeing his three-game touchdown streak snapped. The fourth-round rookie has produced 65-plus receiving yards on different three occasions since Week 9, however, he's been held under 20 yards over his other three appearances during that span. TDs have boosted Davis' value throughout the 2020 campaign, and especially of late, as he has accumulated four scores over his past six appearances heading into a Week 16 road trip to New England.

Davis' teammate John Brown (ankle) will not return from injured reserve this week against the Broncos.

That gives the rookie Davis at least one more week of increased playing time, as he's served as the clear-cut No. 3 receiver since Brown was put on the shelf. While Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley are the top two guys in the Buffalo offense, Davis has a TD catch in three straight games and has seen at least four targets and 83 percent of the offensive snap counts in each contest.

Davis caught three of eight targets for 19 yards and a score in the Sunday night win over the Steelers.

While Davis wasn't very efficient and probably could have held on to an extra ball or two, that does give him scores in three straight games as he continues to thrive with starter John Brown on IR. Brown is expected to return at some point, but with the Buffalo offense clicking on all cylinders these days, Davis makes for a good play as long as his teammate remains on the shelf. Davis surprisingly leads the team in receiving touchdowns this season with six.

Davis brought in three of four targets for 68 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' 34-24 win over the 49ers on Monday night.

Davis didn't come close to enjoying the volume of position mates Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley, but he still made his mark with a 28-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter in which he got behind multiple 49ers defenders down the right sideline. The rookie speedster now has a touchdown grab in three of the past four contests, and he figures to continue enjoying a low-volume, high-upside role as long as John Brown (ankle) remains on injured reserve.

Davis caught three of four targets for 79 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Chargers.

Davis caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Cole Beasley on a trick play in the second quarter and also hauled in a 44-yard pass from quarterback Josh Allen. The rookie third-round pick easily led all Bills receivers in yardage with Stefon Diggs limited to a season-low 39 yards. Davis now has four touchdowns and should continue to start on the outside opposite Diggs against the 49ers in Week 13 with John Brown (ankle) on IR.

Davis' teammate John Brown was placed on injured reserve Saturday due to a knee injury.

Davis was already lined up for a main role in Sunday's game against the Chargers, but he'll now get at least two more games in a top-three role with his veteran teammate moved to IR. Perhaps that extra bit of responsibility is enough to break a tie for those managers choosing between deeper WR options.

Brown previously missed Weeks 5 and 7, allowing Davis to play 100 and 95 percent of snaps on offense. The rookie caught five of nine targets for 58 yards in the first of those games, but the Jets limited him to one catch on three targets a couple weeks later. While production is far from guaranteed, Davis figures to play a lot of snaps and run a lot of routes this week.

Davis did not haul in any of his three targets during Sunday's 32-30 loss to Arizona.

This marks the second time in three weeks that the fourth-round rookie has been held without a reception, though he did deliver four catches for 70 yards and a touchdown last Sunday against the Seahawks. Dating back to when the Bills took on Kansas City in Week 6, Davis has been held to fewer than 12 receiving yards in four of his five most recent outings. That's a stark drop off from the 2.6 catches and 37.4 receiving yards per game he produced Weeks 1 through 5. Heading into Buffalo's Week 11 bye, Gabriel remains the clear No. 4 wide receiver behind Stefon Diggs, John Brown and Cole Beasley.

Davis caught four of five targets for 70 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Seahawks.

This is about the most production we'll see out of the promising rookie when all of Buffalo's skill players are healthy, which finally came to roost in Week 9. We like the Central Florida product's long-term promise, but before you go rushing to nab him off the waiver wire, remember there are several options in front of him and that Davis caught just two balls for 18 yards and no scores combined over the previous three games, and that was with John Brown unhealthy and tight end Dawson Knox out of the lineup. Still, a 19-275-3 option as mostly a fourth receiver shows Davis' time may be coming quicker more than most fourth-round rookies.

Davis did not haul in either of his targets during Sunday's 24-21 win against the Patriots.

Davis was a considerable producer within the Bills' offensive attack Weeks 3 through 5, registering a combined 10 catches for 165 yards and one touchdown during that span. As Josh Allen's passing has regressed in recent outings, however, Davis' production has correspondingly dipped. The rookie fourth-round draft choice has managed just two total catches for 18 yards the past three weeks, though a Week 9 matchup against Seattle's 32nd-ranked pass defense provides opportunity for a bounceback.

Davis caught just one of three targets for 11 yards in Sunday's win at at the Jets.

Davis certainly had an opportunity for a big game, as he saw 95 percent of the offensive snaps on a day where John Brown was out with a knee injury and Josh Allen threw for 307 yards. But the passing game ended up going through Cole Beasley, as the Jets were content to give up the underneath stuff, allowing Davis' teammate to end up with 11 catches for 112 yards. Davis is a nice long-term play, but like anyone not named Stefon Diggs, he remains a hit-or-miss option in this offense.

Davis is expected to claim a regular spot in three-wide sets in Sunday's game against the Jets with the Bills ruling out John Brown (knee) for the contest.

When Brown sat out the Bills' Week 5 loss to the Titans, it was Davis who stepped up his stead. The rookie played all 72 of the Bills' offensive snaps in that contest, parlaying nine targets into five receptions for 58 yards. Davis should see elevated usage again Sunday sans Brown, though with the Bills being one of the heaviest favorites on the Week 7 slate, the run game may become more of a priority if Buffalo establishes an early lead.

Davis caught his only target for a seven-yard gain during Monday's 26-17 loss to the Chiefs.

John Brown (knee) was clearly hobbled at points of Monday's defeat, but Davis was unable to emerge as he had the outing prior with five catches and 58 receiving yards. Buffalo's passing attack was hardly able to get anything going against Kansas City's No. 3 pass defense, as Josh Allen managed only 122 yards through the air on a rainy October evening. Buffalo's passing offense was prolific with 331.5 yards per game Weeks 1 through 4, as Davis produced two touchdowns and 16.1 yards per reception during that span. The Bills look to get it back in gear Week 7, taking on the winless Jets.

Davis caught five of nine targets for 58 yards in Tuesday's 42-16 loss to the Titans.

Davis finished second to Stefon Diggs in targets and receiving yards, as the rookie fourth-rounder took on a larger role with John Brown (knee) inactive. With over 50 yards in two of his last three games and a touchdown in the other, Davis is starting to establish himself as a consistent contributor in the Bills' surprisingly high-octane passing attack. He should remain involved Monday against the Chiefs, especially if Brown sits again.

Davis hauled in his lone target for a 26-yard touchdown in Sunday's 30-23 win over the Raiders.

Cole Beasley battled through a foot injury during Sunday's game, and Davis ended up out-snapping the veteran and finishing with 57 percent of the team's offensive snaps. Josh Allen didn't look his way much, but he made the most of his only target, finding the end zone for the second time in three weeks. With an 8-129-2 line through four games, Davis is an interesting player to keep an eye on, especially if Beasley or John Brown (calf) end up missing time.

Davis was a nice little pickup earlier in the week when Brown's status was more in doubt after the former went for 81 yards on four catches in a breakthrough outing last week. The rookie from Central Florida will still see the field since he's the clear-cut No. 3 receiver in an offense that uses plenty of three-wide looks, but with Brown and tight end Dawson Knox (concussion) back to full health, Davis will remain pushed down in the pecking order. Still, a 7-103-1 line through three games to go with a somewhat significant role all spell for a nice start to Davis' pro career.

Davis caught all four of his targets for 81 yards in Sunday's 35-32 win over the Rams.

Davis took advantage of his increased workload after fellow wide receiver John Brown exited with a calf injury. If Brown can't go in Week 4 against the Raiders, Davis would gain some appeal in what has morphed into a high-octane Bills passing game.

The fourth-round rookie was given a carry as well, but it went for no yards, so other than the touchdown it was a pretty empty stat line for the Central Florida product. Still, the TD -- Davis' first as a pro -- made a difference in the game and he has become the clear-cut No. 4 wideout in only his first season. He'll only see occasional looks for now, but if anything were to happen to Stefon Diggs or John Brown, Davis would likely have a prominent role in the offense.

Davis caught both of his targets for 16 yards in Sunday's win over the Jets.

The fourth-round rookie was the hit of training camp, but he's still behind Stefon Diggs, John Brown, Cole Beasley and Devin Singletary in the passing game, so there won't be meaningful volume until/unless one of the top three receivers gets hurt and Davis becomes a starter. He did see the field for 49 percent of the offensive snaps, not too far behind Beasley's 63 percent and way ahead of Isaiah McKenzie's 18 percent.

Davis had a day of good work in Thursday's live scrimmage, accounting for six receptions, three of which went for first downs, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.

The fourth-rounder out of Central Florida has the size (6-foot-2, 216 pounds) that the Bills have been looking for. He's also had an excellent camp and is starting to look like a lock to make the team. Davis is probably considered fourth in the current wideout pecking order at the present time behind Stefon Diggs, John Brown and Cole Beasley.

This doesn't sound like much to be concerned about while we're still early in camp, though Davis is a rookie in a a crowded receiving room, meaning practice days are more leveraged for him -- especially without any preseason games in 2020 for the Central Florida product to show his skills.

"They're bigger guys, size guys," Daboll said in reference to Davis and fellow rookie Isaiah Hodgins. "Both the type of men they are and really the type of player, tough physical guys that have good ball skills, are not afraid and provide us a little bit of size."

The team's top three receiving spots are spoken for between Stefon Diggs, John Brown and Cole Beasley, but after that the number four spot is completely up for grabs. Davis was considered a nice snag in the fourth round and seems to be impressing the team's coaching staff with his habits, as much as a new player is able to do in a virtual setting. He'll have a good shot at that four spot while competing with Isaiah McKenzie, Duke Williams, Robert Foster, Hodgins and others, though a full camp around the pandemic issues would certainly benefit the two rookies more than their more experienced teammates.
