Leads Jags wideouts in Week 11 win
Meyers caught five passes (on six targets) for 64 yards during the Jaguars' 35-6 win over the Chargers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
In his second game in a Jaguars uniform, Meyers operated as the team's WR1 due to the absence of Brian Thomas (ankle). Meyers finished Sunday's contest leading both teams in receptions and yards, though it was Tim Patrick who hauled in the Jaguars' lone touchdown pass from Trevor Lawrence. Meyers has an 8-97-0 line (on nine targets) through his first two games as a Jaguar and has accumulated 38 catches (on 55 targets) for 416 yards through eight regular-season games. His volume will likely take a hit if Thomas is cleared to return for Jacksonville's Week 12 road clash against Arizona on Sunday, Nov. 23.
Nov 9, 2025
Three grabs in Jags debut
Meyers caught all three of his targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 36-29 loss to the Texans.
ANALYSIS
Making his Jaguars debut after coming over from the Raiders at the trade deadline, Meyers had the longest reception of the day from Trevor Lawrence at 23 yards, but he was out-paced by Parker Washington in targets 7-3. Meyers will continue to build chemistry with his new QB in Week 11 against a familiar AFC West foe in the Chargers, and his volume should rise if Brian Thomas (ankle) remains sidelined for a second straight game.
Nov 4, 2025
Shipped to Jacksonville
The Jaguars acquired Meyers from the Raiders on Tuesday in exchange for 2026 fourth- and sixth-round draft picks, Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network report.
ANALYSIS
A pending free agent, Meyers had made it clear that he wanted to be moved ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline, and the Raiders were able to find a suitor in the Jaguars who were willing to take on the remainder of the wideout's $5.25 million base salary. In Jacksonville, Meyers will fill the void in the slot that opened up when No. 1 overall pick Travis Hunter (knee) landed on injured reserve last week. As was the case in Las Vegas with star tight end Brock Bowers in the fold, Meyers will face competition for targets in Jacksonville with another impressive young pass catcher in Brian Thomas (ankle), but there should be enough volume to go around for both receivers to remain productive. Over his seven appearances for the Raiders this season, Meyers recorded 33 catches for 352 yards and no touchdowns on 49 targets.
Nov 2, 2025
Quiet in return Sunday
Meyers (knee) finished with four receptions on six targets for 23 yards in Sunday's 30-29 overtime loss to the Jaguars.
ANALYSIS
Meyers joined TE Brock Bowers (knee) in returning to action out of Las Vegas' Week 8 bye, after both starters missed time with minor knee injuries. The 28-year-old Meyers was unable to sniff his teammate's ridiculous 12-127-3 receiving line, instead finishing with his lowest yardage output of the season. With no touchdowns in seven active games, Meyers has been a bit of a disappointment through the first half of the fantasy campaign (33-342-0). If the 2-6 Raiders do not move their top trade target before Tuesday's deadline, then Meyers' next appearance will come against the Broncos on Thursday Night Football in Week 10.
Oct 29, 2025
Full practice after bye week
Meyers (knee) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The Week 8 bye apparently did him good, following an absence for the Raiders' embarrassing Week 7 loss to Kansas City. There hasn't been much good to say about the Las Vegas offense this season, but QB Geno Smith will at least have his main weapons healthy for the first time in a long time when he faces the Jaguars this Sunday. TE Brock Bowers (knee) was also a full participant Wednesday.
Oct 20, 2025
Should be back after bye
Raiders coach Jacobi Meyers said Monday that Meyers (knee/toe) and tight end Brock Bowers (knee) are both expected to return to action after the team's Week 8 bye, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers missed his first game of the season during Las Vegas' blowout 31-0 loss to the Chiefs in Week 7 while Bowers hasn't played since Week 4, but the Raiders anticipate having both pass-catchers back in the lineup versus Jacksonville on Sunday, Nov. 2 in Week 9. Trade rumors have also surrounded Meyers in recent weeks, and back in late August he in fact requested to be dealt elsewhere by Las Vegas. The team's Week 8 bye could provide a space for the Raiders to explore options on that front prior to the NFL's trade deadline on Nov. 4, but as long as he remains on the roster, Meyers projects to resume handling his usual starting role Week 9.
Oct 19, 2025
Inactive for first time this season
Meyers (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Though Meyers was able to take a questionable tag into the weekend after he followed up a pair of missed practices Wednesday and Thursday with a limited session Friday, the wideout ultimately didn't display enough progress in his recovery from the knee injury during a pregame workout to get the green light to play in Kansas City. With top tight end Brock Bowers (knee) also set to miss a third straight game, quarterback Geno Smith will be without his top two pass catchers in Week 7. The absences of Meyers and Bowers on Sunday should free up more opportunities in the passing game for tight end Michael Mayer, running back Ashton Jeanty and wideouts Tre Tucker, Jack Bech and Dont'e Thornton. With the Raiders on bye for Week 8, Meyers will set his sights on a return to action Nov. 2 versus the Jaguars.
Oct 18, 2025
To test health in pre-game workout
Meyers (knee/toe), who is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, will have his status determined by a pre-game workout, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers resumed practicing in a limited capacity Friday after having been a non-participant Wednesday and Thursday, and he now looks like a true game-time decision for Week 7. Fantasy managers will want to prepare a pivot option, as confirmation on Meyers' status may not arrive until 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. With tight end Brock Bowers (knee) expected to sit out versus Kansas City, an absence on Meyers' part would position Tre Tucker, Jack Bech, Dont'e Thornton and TE Michael Mayer as the Raiders' top receiving options. After facing the Chiefs, Las Vegas will go on bye Week 8.
Oct 17, 2025
Questionable after limited practice
Meyers (knee/toe) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs after returning to a limited practice Friday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, but his return to a limited session Friday is a positive indicator heading into the weekend. Fortunately for those considering Meyers in Week 7 fantasy lineups, the Raiders kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday. If Meyers ends up being limited or ruled out this weekend, Jack Bech, Dont'e Thornton and Alex Bachman (ankle) -- if he's available -- could see added opportunities versus Kansas City alongside fellow WR Tre Tucker.
Oct 17, 2025
Spotted at practice Friday
Meyers (knee/toe) is participating in practice Friday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
This is welcome news after Meyers didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, though it remains to be seen whether Meyers goes down as a full or limited participant Friday. Las Vegas' injury report will come out later Friday ahead of Sunday's visit to Kansas City. If he's healthy enough to play, Meyers will try to snap out of a slump that has seen him fall short of 40 receiving yards in each of the past three games.
Oct 16, 2025
Remains sidelined Thursday
Meyers (knee/toe) isn't practicing Thursday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Offensive coordinator Chip Kelly previously noted that he expected Meyers to return to work Thursday, but the wideout is now on track to log his second straight 'DNP.' Friday's practice thus looms large in terms of the availability of Meyers for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. If he's limited or out this weekend, Jack Bech, Dont'e Thornton and Alex Bachman could see added Week 7 opportunities alongside fellow WR Tre Tucker.
Oct 16, 2025
Expected back at practice
Offensive coordinator Chip Kelly expects Meyers (knee/toe) to practice Thursday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who logged 90 percent snap share in a Week 6 win over the Titans, didn't practice Wednesday, but his anticipated presence a day later bodes well for his chances of being available Sunday against the Chiefs. The Raiders' upcoming injury report will clarify the wideout's official participation level Thursday.
Oct 15, 2025
Misses practice Wednesday
Meyers (knee/toe) didn't practice Wednesday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After being on the field for 90 percent of the Raiders' snaps on offense in the team's Week 6 win over the Titans, a game in which Meyers caught all four of his targets for 39 yards, the wideout is managing a pair of injury issues ahead of Sunday's game against the Chiefs. Meyers now has two more chances to practice before Las Vegas assigns final Week 7 injury designations.
Oct 12, 2025
Recent struggles continue
Meyers finished with four receptions on as many targets for 39 yards in Sunday's 20-10 win over the Titans.
ANALYSIS
Meyers recent struggles continued after failing to eclipse 40 receiving yards for the third week running. At least the Raiders were able to pick up a win after losing their previous two contests during the wideout's current slump. Las Vegas is still without the services of star TE Brock Bowers (knee), so Meyers needs to step up his play for both his team and frustrated fantasy managers. Perhaps Meyers can turn his disappointing campaign around if he can find the end zone for the first time in 2025 against the Chiefs next Sunday.
Oct 5, 2025
Low output despite Bowers absence
Meyers secured four of six targets for 32 yards in the Raiders' 40-6 loss to the Colts on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
With Brock Bowers (knee) unavailable, the expectation was that Meyers would be even busier than usual in his role as the Raiders' No. 1 receiver. However, all of Tre Tucker, Ashton Jeanty and even practice squad call-up Albert Okwuegbunam all outpaced Meyers in receptions, receiving yards or both. After opening the season in typically productive fashion with a 17-228-0 line on 26 targets, Meyers has slumped to an 8-62-0 tally on 13 targets over the last pair of contests. The veteran could have a good opportunity to bounce back in Week 6, however, as a suspect Titans defense comes to Las Vegas next Sunday afternoon.
Sep 28, 2025
Leads team with seven targets
Meyers brought in four of seven targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 25-24 loss to Chicago.
ANALYSIS
Meyers wound up leading the Raiders in targets with seven Sunday, but the end result was a season low in receiving yards (30). The veteran starter's yardage total has decreased on a weekly basis, but he was able to buck a similar trend in targets with Sunday's seven looks from QB Geno Smith. Meyers should continue providing a solid fantasy floor with a steady diet of targets as the Raiders prepare to face the Colts next Sunday.
Sep 21, 2025
Three grabs in Sunday's loss
Meyers caught three of four targets for 63 yards in Sunday's 41-24 loss to the Commanders.
ANALYSIS
After seeing double-digit targets in each of the first two games of 2025, Meyers saw his volume crater in Week 3 as Tre Tucker instead got more of Geno Smith's attention. Meyers has still topped 60 receiving yards in three straight contests en route to a 17-228-0 line on 26 targets, and there could be plenty of volume to go around in Week 4 against a Bears defense that has been one of the worst units in the NFL to begin the year.
Sep 16, 2025
Team-high 12 targets Monday
Meyers finished with six receptions on 12 targets for 68 yards in Monday's 20-9 loss to the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Meyers paced Las Vegas in targets, receptions and receiving yards despite finishing with a poor catch rate (50 percent). The 28-year-old has garnered double-digit targets in both appearances with new QB Geno Smith this season, cementing the wideout's spot atop the Raiders' depth chart. Meyers' predictable volume makes him a reliable starting option heading into Sunday's tilt against the Commanders, offering a notable boost in value for those in PPR formats.
Sep 7, 2025
Just short of 100-yard mark in win
Meyers brought in eight of 10 targets for 97 yards in the Raiders' 20-13 win over the Patriots on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Facing his old squad, Meyers finished with team-leading reception and target totals while checking in just behind Brock Bowers (knee) in receiving yards. The veteran wideout displayed encouraging rapport with new quarterback Geno Smith, and Meyers' final line was a signature one for a receiver that's made his living in the league excelling in the short- and medium-range passing windows. Meyers should be very busy again during a Week 2 home divisional showdown with the Chargers on Monday night, Sept. 15.
Sep 4, 2025
Beneficiary of Cooper's retirement?
Meyers, who is still seeking a contract extension with the Raiders, appears further entrenched as the team's No. 1 receiver following the announcement of Amari Cooper's retirement Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers expressed uncertainty about the odds of he and Las Vegas reaching agreement on a long-term extension after Wednesday's practice, but the retirement of Cooper -- who inked with the Raiders last week -- should benefit him both in terms of projected target share and contract leverage. Though Las Vegas can lean on star TE Brock Browers in the passing game, the team now has little in the way of proven contributors at wideout behind Meyers. Tre Tucker tallied just a 47-539-3 receiving line while playing all 17 regular-season games last year, while rookies Dont'e Thornton and Jack Bech have yet to handle a regular-season snap. Meyers requested a trade late August and said Wednesday he doesn't intend to hold out, and negotiation leverage now seems to have swung in his favor ahead of Sunday's road matchup against the Patriots.
Sep 3, 2025
Unsure of extension chances
Meyers said Wednesday that he's unsure whether he and the Raiders will be able to reach agreement on a contract extension, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers requested a trade from Las Vegas late August due to dissatisfaction with his current contract situation, and he cited loyalty to his teammates Wednesday as the cause of his not holding out. Currently, Meyers is heading into the final year of his contract with the team and will be due $10.76 million for the 2025 season. The No. 1 receiver tallied the first 1,000-yard campaign of his career while playing 15 regular-season games in 2024, totaling an 86-1,027-8 receiving line on 129 targets. He's positioned alongside tight end Brock Bowers as one of Geno Smith's clear top options in the receiving game heading into Sunday's regular-season opener on the road against New England.
Aug 25, 2025
Requests trade
Meyers has requested a trade from the Raiders, Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network report.
ANALYSIS
Per Pelissero, after Meyers -- who is due $10.76 million in the last year of his contract -- couldn't agree on an extension with the Raiders, the wideout requested a trade. That said, Rapoport notes that at this stage the team has no plans to deal the 28-year-old, who caught 87 passes in 15 regular-season games in 2024.
Aug 24, 2025
Blanked in preseason finale
Meyers failed to bring in his only target in the Raiders' 20-10 preseason loss to the Cardinals on Saturday night.
ANALYSIS
Meyers played on the Raiders' opening drive with Geno Smith and other starters but came up empty on his one opportunity. Despite a quiet preseason that saw him bring in only one of three targets for four yards, Meyers will begin the regular season against his old Patriots squad on Sunday, Sept. 7 as Las Vegas' No. 1 wide receiver, although tight end Brock Bowers could well prove to be Smith's top target over the course of the campaign.
Aug 16, 2025
Catches lone target in loss to SF
Meyers nabbed his only target for four yards in a preseason loss against the 49ers on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
After going catchless in Las Vegas' first exhibition contest against Seattle last Thursday, Meyers managed to haul in his only target Saturday. While the veteran wideout is lined up for a WR1 role with the Raiders, he's not expected to be the team's top option in the passing game -- that distinction will likely go to second-year tight end Brock Bowers. Meyers had the best regular season of his career last year with 87 receptions for 1,027 yards and four touchdowns, but his ability to replicate those numbers in 2025 will likely depend upon how much chemistry he has with new QB Geno Smith as well as how much the Raiders lean on their running game, which will be led by talented rookie Ashton Jeanty.
Aug 8, 2025
No catches in preseason opener
Meyers didn't catch his only target in Thursday's 23-23 preseason tie against the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
New Raiders quarterback Geno Smith played only one drive while some other starters played into the team's second possession. Meyers and Smith will have to wait to register their first connection in an NFL game, but the veteran wide receiver is poised to remain a key component of Vegas' offense come the regular season. Meyers has little to prove in the preseason, but he and the rest of the starters may get more playing time in the team's second preseason game against the 49ers on Aug. 16.
Jul 22, 2025
Continues to lead Raiders' WR corps
As the Raiders' first training camp practice approaches, Meyers remains locked in as a starter in the team's wideout corps, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Though Meyers can also line up outside, most of his reps during OTAs were in the slot. After recording an 87/1,027/4 receiving line on a career high 129 targets in 15 regular-season games in 2024, the sure-handed pass catcher is poised to maintain steady volume in an offense that is now helmed by veteran QB Geno Smith, who should represent an upgrade over last year's signal-caller duo of Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell. While Meyers remains entrenched as the Raiders' WR1, Reed suggests that it's a three-man competition (between Tre Tucker, Jack Bech and Dont'e Thornton) for slotting behind the 28-year-old.
Jan 5, 2025
Concludes career-best season
Meyers recorded nine receptions on 10 targets for 123 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-20 loss to the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was the only thing working in the Raiders' offense for the majority of the game, as he connected with Aidan O'Connell for four receptions of at least 20 yards -- the longest of which went for a 25-yard score. That was enough to bring him over 1,000 receiving yards in a season for the first time in his career. Meyers will enter 2025 in the final year of his three-yard contract with the Raiders, and he should remain a key part of the offense.
Dec 29, 2024
Finds end zone in win
Meyers caught five of nine targets for 61 yards in Sunday's 25-10 win over the Saints.
ANALYSIS
The veteran wideout found the end zone for the first time since Week 8 with a three-yard catch in the second quarter. Meyers is up to 78 receptions on the season, leaving him five shy of tying his career high, and his 904 yards is already a new personal best. He'll try to reach 1,000 yards for the first time in a Week 18 clash with the Chargers.
Dec 23, 2024
Minimal role in Week 16 win
Meyers recorded two receptions on five targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 19-14 win over the Jaguars.
ANALYSIS
Aidan O'Connell's return was generally positive for the Raiders' offense, but that wasn't the case for Meyers. He saw his fewest targets since Week 2 and tallied his lowest reception total of the campaign. The lone positive from the performance was that Meyers delivered explosive gains of 24 and 17 yards on his two catches. He should get more involved once again in Week 17 against the Saints.
Dec 20, 2024
Cleared to play Sunday
Meyers (ankle) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Jaguars after returning to a full practice Friday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
As was the case ahead of Week 15 action, Meyers had his practice reps managed this week, but he'll be available Sunday and should thus remain a viable fantasy option given his high volume role in the Raiders offense. In 12 games overall this season, Meyers (who logged a 5/59/0 receiving line on nine targets versus Atlanta this past Monday) has caught 71 of his 105 targets for 802 yards and two TDs.
Dec 19, 2024
Remains limited Thursday
Meyers (ankle) remained limited at practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who was also limited Wednesday, logged back-to-back limited sessions last week as well before practicing fully Saturday and approaching this past Monday night's game against the Falcons without an injury designation. Chances are that pattern will be repeated ahead of Sunday's contest versus the Jaguars, with Friday's final injury report set to confirm that notion either way.
Dec 18, 2024
Limited practice Wednesday
Meyers (ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was limited at practice this past Thursday and Friday, but was deemed a full participant Saturday and approached Monday's loss to the Falcons without an injury designation. With no reported setbacks, there's a decent chance that Meyers' listed limitations Wednesday were maintenance related. Still, the wideout's status will be worth tracking ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars, a contest in which the Raiders should welcome Aidan O'Connell (knee) back to the lineup after the QB was inactive in Week 15.
Dec 17, 2024
Leading receiver in MNF loss
Meyers had five receptions on nine targets for 59 yards while getting sacked for a 10-yard loss on his only passing attempt in Monday's 15-9 loss to the Falcons.
ANALYSIS
The Raiders tried to tap into Meyers' prior experience as a quarterback with an early trick play against Atlanta, but that plan backfired and resulted in a drive-killing sack. The versatile wideout had a solid receiving night all things considered, leading the Raiders in both targets and yards Monday. Meyers carries a high floor into a soft matchup against the Jaguars on Sunday.
Dec 14, 2024
All set for Monday
Meyers (ankle) does not carry an injury designation ahead of Monday's contest against the Falcons, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers' status never seemed to be in jeopardy, and after practicing fully Saturday he's set to reprise a role that has yielded 36 targets over the past three games. Whether the passing game will remain functional is another question entirely, as starter Aidan O'Connell is technically listed as questionable despite failing to practice all week due to a knee bruise. In the event O'Connell is ruled out, the Raiders would likely turn to Desmond Ridder, who has compiled 239 yards and a touchdown on 44 pass attempts scattered across three spot appearances this season.
Dec 13, 2024
Another limited practice
Meyers (ankle) remained limited at practice Friday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was also limited Thursday, so he'll likely need to practice fully Saturday in order to approach Monday night's game against the Falcons without an injury designation. The wideout approached Week 14 action listed as questionable due to his ankle issue, but he was able to suit up for this past Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers while logging a 91 percent snap share and catching seven of his 10 targets for 67 yards in the contest.
Dec 12, 2024
Limited practice Thursday
Meyers (ankle) was limited at practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Though he headed into Week 14 action listed as questionable, Meyers was active for this past Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers, en route to logging a 91 percent snap share and catching seven of his 10 targets for 67 yards. With no setbacks having been reported, there's a solid chance that Meyers' listed limitations Thursday were maintenance-related ahead of Monday night's game against the Falcons.
Dec 8, 2024
Co-leader in receptions Sunday
Meyers secured seven of 10 targets for 67 yards in the Raiders' 28-13 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Despite the disappointing team outcome and Aidan O'Connell's exit in the second half due to a knee injury, the ever-reliable Meyers turned in another productive effort that included a co-team-high reception total. The veteran wideout also set the pace in targets and finished just a yard short of drawing even with Michael Mayer for the team lead in receiving yards. Meyers has at least six catches in five of the last six contests heading into a Week 15 Monday night home matchup against the Falcons on Dec. 16.
Dec 8, 2024
Good to go Sunday
Meyers (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.
ANALYSIS
Meyers had been listed as questionable heading into the day after being a mid-week addition to the Raiders' injury report due to the ankle issue. After sitting out Thursday's practice session, Meyers returned to the field Friday in a limited fashion and appears to have experienced no setbacks leading up to Sunday's game. Expect Myers and tight end Brock Bowers to be locked in as the clear top two options in the passing game for quarterback Aidan O'Connell, who threw 25 of his 35 attempts to the two pass catchers in last week's loss to the Chiefs.
Dec 8, 2024
Likely to suit up Sunday
Meyers (ankle), who is questionable for Sunday's Week 14 contest against Tampa Bay, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers popped up on the injury report Thursday due to an ankle issue that kept him out of practice. However, he was a limited participant Friday and appears set to suit up against the Bucs on Sunday. Meyers has ascended to the role of Las Vegas' top wideout this year, and he's been very productive of late with at least 97 receiving yards in three of his past four games, though he hasn't gotten into the end zone during that span.
Dec 6, 2024
Questionable for Week 14
Meyers (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers wasn't able to practice Thursday due to an ankle injury. Coach Antonio Pierce told Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com on Friday that Meyers was "full go, ready to go," but the wide receiver ended up limited on the Raiders' final Week 14 injury report. Pierce's comments seem to indicate Meyers will be available Sunday, which won't be confirmed until about 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
Dec 6, 2024
Practices in full Friday
Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce said Friday that Meyers (ankle) will practice in full and is "ready to go" for Sunday's matchup against the Buccaneers, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers and starting quarterback Aidan O'Connell (illness) both sat out Thursday's practice and have returned as full participants Friday. O'Connell is coming off his best game of the season, having thrown for 340 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions during Las Vegas' narrow 19-17 loss to the Chiefs in Week 13, and having his top wideout available leaves room for optimism that the Raiders' passing offense could continue building momentum. Meyers is averaging 10 targets per game over his last five appearances, with rookie tight end Brock Bowers only slightly above him in that category.
Dec 5, 2024
Sidelined for practice due to ankle
Meyers didn't practice Thursday due to an ankle injury, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers wasn't listed on the Raiders' initial Week 14 injury report issued Wednesday, so the ankle issue may have been something that cropped up late in the team's first practice session of the week. Whatever the case, Meyers' absence from Thursday's practice now makes his status worthy of monitoring closely as Sunday's game at Tampa Bay approaches. Since returning to action Week 8 following a two-game absence -- also due to an ankle injury -- Meyers along with rookie tight end Brock Bowers have earned heavy volume in the Las Vegas passing attack. Meyers is averaging 10 targets per game over his last five outings, stringing together a 34-403-1 receiving line in the process.
Nov 29, 2024
Just short of 100-yard mark in loss
Meyers secured six of 11 targets for 97 yards in the Raiders' 19-17 loss to the Chiefs on Friday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers finished second across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets to Brock Bowers for the Raiders on the afternoon. The veteran wideout's yardage total was his third highest of the season and maintained a recent pattern of strong play, as Meyers has generated both of his 100-yard efforts this season along with Friday's total within his last four games. The sixth-year pro has at least six catches in five of his last six contests as well and plenty of established chemistry with Aidan O'Connell, giving Meyers a bright outlook heading into a Week 14 road matchup against a vulnerable Buccaneers secondary on Sunday, Dec. 8.
Nov 24, 2024
Season-best numbers in loss
Meyers caught 10 of 15 targets for 121 yards in Sunday's 29-19 loss to the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
The veteran wideout put together his best performance of 2024, with his receptions, targets and yards all being season highs. Meyers has produced a 28-306-1 line on 39 targets over the last four games, but he'll head into a Week 13 clash against Kansas City with uncertainty at quarterback -- Gardner Minshew (collarbone) was lost for the season Sunday, while Aidan O'Connell (thumb) may not be ready to return from IR.
Nov 17, 2024
Held in check by Dolphins
Meyers secured four of six targets for 28 yards and rushed once for 20 yards in the Raiders' 34-19 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
It was an atypical stat line all the way around for Meyers, who recorded the longest rush of his career but also posted his lowest receiving yardage tally of the campaign. The veteran pass catcher did record at least four catches for the seventh straight game, but he's only eclipsed the century mark once, in Week 9 against the Bengals, over the course of the season. Meyers usually gets more mileage out of his pass-catching opportunities than he did Sunday, but he'll face a daunting task against the Broncos at home in Week 12.
Nov 3, 2024
Eclipses century mark in loss
Meyers secured eight of 11 targets for 105 yards in the Raiders' 41-24 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The veteran wideout was the leader across the board for the Raiders' pass catchers despite middling quarterback play from both Gardner Minshew and Desmond Ridder. Meyers' reception, yardage and target totals were also all season-high figures, and he now has at least six receptions in four of the last five games. It remains to be seen what quarterback Meyers will work with in a Week 11 road matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday, Nov. 17 coming out of a Week 10 bye, but the sixth-year pro should remain the clear-cut leader of the pass-catching corps under any circumstance.
Oct 31, 2024
Churns out full practice
Meyers (ankle) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
ANALYSIS
After missing two straight games with the ankle injury, Meyers returned to action in this past Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs, playing 80 percent of the offensive snaps while finishing with six catches for 52 yards and a touchdown on seven targets. Meyers was limited in practice to kick off Week 9 prep, but his full session Thursday sets the stage for him to join tight end Brock Bowers as the clear top targets in the passing game for quarterback Gardner Minshew in Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Oct 30, 2024
Limited practice Wednesday
Meyers (ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
In his return from a two-game absence, Meyers caught six of his seven targets for 52 yards and a TD in this past Sunday's loss to the Chiefs, while recording an 81 percent snaps share on offense. With no reported setbacks in the contest, there's a decent chance Meyers' listed limitations Wednesday were maintenance-related.

Top target in return
Meyers recorded six receptions on seven targets for 52 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Meyers returned from a two-game absence and immediately led the Raiders in targets and receptions. He was heavily involved on the opening drive, converting a key first down with an 11-yard catch before finding the end zone from seven yards away. Meyers then tallied his longest catch of the day for 17 yards early in the second quarter, setting up a Las Vegas field goal. While his final stat line was modest, Meyers should dominate targets along with Brock Bowers moving forward.
Oct 27, 2024
Active in Week 8, as expected
Meyers (ankle) is active for Sunday's Week 8 matchup against the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was reported to be in line for a return from a two-game absence after wrapping up the practice week with a full session Friday, and his active status is now official. The veteran wideout returns to a notably altered wide-receiver corps than the one he left, as Davante Adams was traded to the New York Jets during Meyers' absence. Meyers will therefore assume the No. 1 receiver role moving forward, albeit with the inconsistent Gardner Minshew as his quarterback beginning with a difficult matchup against the Chiefs' talented secondary Sunday.
Oct 26, 2024
Expected to be active Week 8
Meyers (ankle) is likely to play Sunday versus Kansas City, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers missed the Rams' past two contests due to an ankle injury, but he appears set to return Sunday against the Chiefs. The 27-year-old will likely function as Las Vegas' top wideout now that Davante Adams is a member of the Jets. Meyers has logged at least nine targets and 49 receiving yards in each of the past three games for which he's been able to suit up.
Oct 25, 2024
Questionable after full practice
Meyers (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs after returning to a full practice Friday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was limited Wednesday, didn't practice Thursday and then was able to log a full session to close out the week. Earlier Friday, Vic Tafur of The Athletic relayed that head coach Antonio Pierce expects Meyers to play this weekend, with the wideout's participation level supporting that notion. Look for added context regarding his Week 8 availability to arrive via national reporters such as ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.
Oct 24, 2024
Misses practice Thursday
Meyers (ankle) didn't practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who has missed two straight games, logged a limited practice Wednesday, so his non-participation a day later is notable. It remains to be seen if the downgrade is maintenance-related or indicative of a setback, with added context on that front slated to arrive no later than the release of Friday's final injury report.
Oct 23, 2024
Limited in return to practice
Meyers (ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
After not practicing last week before missing his second game in a row this past Sunday, Meyers' return to Wednesday's session has him trending in the right direction in advance of Sunday's game against the Chiefs. Once Meyers returns to the lineup, a high-volume role should await him, given that the Raiders' former top wideout Davante Adams is now a member of the Jets.
Oct 23, 2024
Set to practice Wednesday
Meyers (ankle) will practice Wednesday, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers didn't practice last week, before being made inactive for the second game in a row ahead of this past Sunday's 20-15 loss to the Rams. The wideout's anticipated participation in Wednesday's session is a step in the right direction for Meyers, but he'll probably need to practice fully by Friday on order to approach this weekend's game against the Chiefs without an injury designation.
Oct 20, 2024
Inactive Sunday
Meyers (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who didn't practice this past week, headed into the weekend listed as doubtful. Now that he's been made inactive for the second straight game, Tre Tucker and DJ Turner are slated to lead the Raiders' Week 7 wideout corps, with Alex Bachman, Kristian Wilkerson and Tyreik McAllister also on hand. Meyers' next chance to see game action will arrive next Sunday against the Chiefs.
Oct 18, 2024
Doubtful for Week 7
Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce said Friday that Meyers (ankle) will be listed as doubtful for Sunday's road game against the Rams, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers will miss his third straight practice of the week, and likely his second straight game due to a lingering ankle injury. With Davante Adams having been traded to the Jets on Tuesday, Meyers would be in position to work as Las Vegas' top wide receiver, if on the field. However, things are trending toward Tre Tucker, DJ Turner, Tyreik McAllister, Alex Bachman and Kristian Wilkerson leading the Raiders' wide receiver corps, in addition to rookie phenom Brock Bowers at tight end. Final word on Meyer's status will arrive 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff, at the latest.
Oct 17, 2024
Still not practicing
Meyers (ankle) remained sidelined at practice Thursday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers didn't practice Wednesday, so what the wideout is able to do Friday will loom large in terms of his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Rams. With Davante Adams now a member of the Jets, Meyers -- when healthy -- will have an opportunity to see a steady share of WR snaps and targets in the Raiders offense as the season progresses.
Oct 16, 2024
Not in line to practice Wednesday
Meyers (ankle) is not slated to practice Wednesday, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who missed this last weekend's game against the Steelers, thus has two more chances to practice ahead of Sunday's contest against the Rams. Once he's available to return to the Raiders' lineup, Meyers will have an opportunity to lead the team's WR corps, given that Davante Adams was traded to the Jets on Tuesday, but for now his Week 7 status has yet to be determined.
Oct 16, 2024
Returning to practice
Meyers (ankle) is expected to return to practice Wednesday, with Raiders coach Antonio Pierce saying he's hopeful the wide receiver can play Sunday against the Rams, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers managed just one limited practice last week (Friday) and was downgraded from 'questionable' to 'doubtful' before Sunday's eventual loss to the Steelers. It sounds like he has a good chance to return for Week 7, and he's now locked in as the leader of a WR room that just lost Davante Adams in a trade with the Jets.
Oct 13, 2024
Sitting out in Week 6
Meyers (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
After logging one limited practice (Friday) during Week 6 prep, Meyers received a questionable designation ahead of the weekend, but his downgrade to doubtful Saturday signaled that he was destined for his first absence of the campaign due to an ankle injury. With Davante Adams (hamstring) sidelined for a third consecutive contest, the Raiders' receiving corps will be composed of Tre Tucker, DJ Turner, Tyreik McAllister, Alex Bachman and Kristian Wilkerson on Sunday.
Oct 12, 2024
Doubtful for Sunday
Meyers (ankle) was downgraded to doubtful for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
This couldn't be a more challenging 2024 debut for incoming starter Aidan O'Connell, who will be without Davante Adams (hamstring) and likely Meyers as well. An unheralded group of pass catchers in Tyreik McAllister, DJ Turner and Tre Tucker will have to take on a heavy load with the top two starters expected not to play, but it's the latter in Tucker who profiles as the likeliest fantasy asset given he's accumulated 20 targets combined in the past three weeks.
Oct 11, 2024
Status in question for Week 6
Meyers (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Steelers, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
With one limited practice (Friday) under his belt this week, Meyers' availability for Week 6 action won't be confirmed until about 90 minutes before a 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. If he's able to suit up Sunday, he'll continue to serve as the Raiders' No. 1 WR with Davante Adams (hamstring) sidelined for a third straight game. On the first two occasions, Meyers recorded 11 catches (on 19 targets) for 121 yards and no touchdowns, while Tre Tucker (7-59-0 on 11 targets) was a distant second in terms of usage. Las Vegas made a change under center this week from Gardner Minshew to Aidan O'Connell, so there could be some jostling in terms of target share for an active Meyers and Tucker moving forward.
Oct 11, 2024
Returning to practice Friday
Coach Antonio Pierce said Meyers (ankle) will take part in Friday's practice, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers has missed back-to-back sessions to begin Week 6 prep due to an ankle injury, but his return to drills is a positive sign ahead of Sunday's game versus the Steelers. Fellow WR Davante Adams (ankle) isn't expected to be available for that contest, so Meyers' status is key for a banged-up Raiders receiving corps.
Oct 10, 2024
Logs another missed practice
Meyers missed his second straight practice Thursday due to an ankle injury.
ANALYSIS
With top WR Davante Adams (ankle) not expected to play Sunday against the Steelers, Meyers' status gains added import ahead of Week 6 action. A return to practice, in any capacity, on the part of Meyers on Friday would bode well for his chances of facing Pittsburgh, but he'll need to practice fully in such a scenario in order to avoid an injury designation.
Oct 10, 2024
Remains sidelined Thursday
Meyers (ankle) remained sidelined at practice Thursday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Back-to-back absences make Friday's practice pivotal with regard to Meyers' Week 6 status ahead of Aidan O'Connell's first start of the season. Meyers (if healthy) and TE Brock Bowers profile as O'Connell's top targets, with Davante Adams (hamstring) still not practicing and potentially getting traded soon.
Oct 9, 2024
Dealing with ankle issue
Meyers (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
With Davante Adams (hamstring) not expected to play Sunday against the Steelers, Meyers' status is worth monitoring closely in the coming days. Over the last two games (both of which Adams has missed), Meyers has combined for 11 catches for 121 yards on 19 targets.
Oct 7, 2024
Another nine targets
Meyers recorded six receptions on nine targets for 72 yards in Sunday's 34-18 loss to the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
Meyers finished second on the team in targets behind Brock Bowers and now has 19 targets combined across two games without Davante Adams (hamstring). He also managed his highest yardage total of the season thanks to long gains of 21, 18 and 16 yards. Quarterback play will remain a question in Las Vegas, but Meyers should have a key role in the offense assuming Adams is traded, as is currently expected.
Sep 29, 2024
Ten targets in Adams' absence
Meyers caught five of 10 targets for 49 yards in Sunday's 20-16 win over the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Meyers paced the Raiders in targets and receiving yards in the absence of Davante Adams (hamstring). Adams is considered week-to-week, so Meyers could remain the team's de facto No. 1 wide receiver in Week 5 against the Broncos. Meyers has 19 targets over the last two games after being targeted only eight times in the first two games of the season.
Sep 27, 2024
Likely to see increased targets
Meyers is expected to see increased targets in Sunday's game against the Browns after Davante Adams (hamstring) was ruled out, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Already thin on wideout talent, the Raiders losing Adams opens up ample opportunity for guys like Meyers and Tre Tucker. "I don't need another Davante. There's only one, right? I just need the best version of Jakobi Meyers," coach Antonio Pierce said Friday. While Meyers figures to see increased looks, Brock Bowers might be the biggest beneficiary and the favorite to lead the team in receiving against Cleveland. Meyers has rarely displayed any sort of ceiling for fantasy purposes, but his floor is higher in this spot.
Sep 23, 2024
Pads stats in garbage time
Meyers recorded seven receptions on nine targets for 62 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 36-22 loss to the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
The stat line suggests that Meyers took a significant step forward in opportunity, though how he got to those numbers is less inspiring. He had just one catch for zero yards at the start of the fourth quarter. With the Raiders down 33-7, Meyers went on to record a 13-yard touchdown and another lengthy reception of 16 yards to account for a significant amount of his production -- the latter of which came from backup quarterback Aidan O'Connell. Meyers will maintain a role in the offense moving forward, but it's likely to be a more peripheral role behind both Davante Adams and Brock Bowers.
Sep 15, 2024
Snags four passes Sunday
Meyers notched four catches (on five targets) for 29 yards during Sunday's 26-23 win at Baltimore.
ANALYSIS
Meyers made the most of his three targets in a season-opening loss to the Chargers, pacing the Raiders with 61 yards on three receptions. In Week 2, though, he took a back seat to No. 1 WR Davante Adams (9-110-1 on 12 targets) and rookie TE Brock Bowers (9-98-0 on nine targets), which likely will be the case most games for Las Vegas in 2024. Meyers' next opportunity to make a mark comes next Sunday against the Panthers.
Sep 11, 2024
Leading receiver in Week 1 loss
Meyers caught all three of his targets for 61 yards and added a three-yard rush in Sunday's 22-10 loss to the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Meyers' production included a 33-yard catch, which was the longest passing play for either team. He finished with a team-high 61 receiving yards, narrowly edging out Davante Adams (59 yards on six targets) and Brock Bowers (58 yards on eight targets). Adams and Bowers will likely continue to get most of the attention from quarterback Gardner Minshew, so Meyers may need to make the most of limited opportunities to find success in Week 2 against the Ravens and beyond.
Aug 22, 2024
Not expected to play Friday
Meyers and other starters aren't scheduled to play in Friday's preseason game against the 49ers, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It sounds like the Raiders may also hold out some of their better backups, as QB Aidan O'Connell isn't expected to play Friday night. Come Week 1, the team will have a strong group of pass catchers competing for targets from Gardner Minshew in a road game against the Chargers. It'll be tricky for Meyers to match his 2023 numbers for volume (106 targets in 16 games) or touchdowns (eight rushing, two receiving), but there's no question he'll be on the field for a lot of snaps as either the second or third option in the Raiders' passing game (depending on rookie TE Brock Bowers' usage/progress).
Aug 18, 2024
Comes up empty on four targets
Meyers failed to bring in any of his four targets in the Raiders' 27-12 preseason loss to the Cowboys on Saturday night.
ANALYSIS
Three of the four targets Meyers saw came from Gardner Minshew on the opening possession, and the final one came on third down from the Cowboys' 11-yard line during the Raiders' second drive. Despite the goose egg Saturday, Meyers is expected to once again serve as a valuable target for either Minshew or Aidan O'Connell come the regular season after posting a 71-807-8 line across 16 regular-season games in 2023.
Jan 7, 2024
Strong finish to season
Meyers caught three of five targets for 61 yards and a touchdown and rushed once for a five-yard touchdown in Sunday's 27-14 win over the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
Meyers improvised on a play where he was expected to throw, reversing field and ultimately scampering into the end zone from close range. The wideout then found pay dirt again with a wide-open 33-yard grab to begin the fourth quarter. Despite inconsistent quarterback play, Meyers finished the season with 71 catches on 106 targets for 807 yards and nine total touchdowns.
Dec 31, 2023
Six grabs in Sunday's loss
Meyers caught six of 10 targets for 56 yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Colts.
ANALYSIS
Davante Adams monopolized the attention of rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell on the afternoon, but Meyers finished second on the Raiders in catches, targets and receiving yards. It's the first time the fifth-year wideout had seen double-digit targets since Week 7, and Meyers is just within striking distance of a new career high if he's able to produce 121 receiving yards in Week 18 against the Broncos -- a secondary he lit up for a 9-81-2 line in their first meeting this season way back in Week 1.
Dec 25, 2023
Records three catches in Week 16
Meyers hauled in three of five targets for 42 yards during Monday's 20-14 victory in Kansas City.
ANALYSIS
On a day in which Raiders quarterback Aidan O'Connell managed just 62 yards passing, Meyers paced the team in catches and receiving yards and ranked second in targets to only Davante Adams (six). It was a quiet follow-up to Meyers' Week 15, when he recorded touchdowns as both a receiver and passer in a 63-21 win against the Chargers. His next chance to produce arrives Sunday in Indianapolis.
Dec 15, 2023
Catches, throws TD in big win
Meyers brought in two of four targets for 32 yards and a touchdown and completed both his pass attempts for 12 yards and another score in the Raiders' 63-21 win over the Chargers on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Meyers made a significant impact on just two touches, recording his seventh receiving touchdown of the season on a 22-yard grab late in the first quarter. He later added a three-yard touchdown pass to Davante Adams to cap off the Raiders' opening drive of the second half after catching a wide receiver screen from Aidan O'Connell. Meyers has now reached the 60-catch mark for the third straight season, but it's worth noting his receiving score was only his second in the last seven games. Meyers draws a much tougher matchup in a Week 16 road battle against the Chiefs on Christmas Day.
Dec 10, 2023
Five grabs in Sunday's loss
Meyers caught five of six targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
The Raiders' offense came out of the team's bye in a complete funk, but Meyers was still able to haul in at least four passes for the third straight game, although his grabs didn't produce much yardage. The fifth-year wideout hasn't seen double-digit targets since Week 7, but he'll look to break out in Week 15 against the Chargers.
Nov 26, 2023
Variety of involvement Sunday
Meyers caught six of seven targets for 79 yards and a touchdown while adding one rushing attempt for two yards and a pass attempt that fell incomplete in Sunday's 31-17 loss to Kansas City.
ANALYSIS
Meyers wound up leading the team in receiving in addition to his pair of unconventional touches Sunday, as Las Vegas' coaching staff was intent on getting its budding star back on track. The NC State product was recruited as a quarterback out of high school, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that teams have attempted to utilize that additional skill on trick plays. While Meyers failed complete a pass against the Chiefs, his receiving touchdown on the Raiders' opening drive was the wideout's first since Oct. 22. Meyers will enter the upcoming bye week with 608 combined yards from scrimmage and seven touchdowns through 11 active games before resuming play against Minnesota on Dec. 10.
Nov 19, 2023
Four catches in Week 11 loss
Meyers secured four of five targets for 49 yards in the Raiders' 20-13 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was third in receptions, tied for third and targets and second in receiving yards on the afternoon, but all three totals were modest. After a busy first six games of the season, Meyers' catch and yardage tallies Sunday were his best since Week 7, while his target total tied for his highest in that sample. Meyers will aim to keep building on his rapport with rookie signal-caller Aidan O'Connell in a tough Week 12 home matchup against the Chiefs.
Nov 13, 2023
Down game on SNF
Meyers was held to two catches on as many targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 16-12 win over the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Meyers finished with two or fewer receptions for the third consecutive week following his blazing start to the season with Las Vegas. He was able to negate last week's dip in usage by scoring the first rushing touchdown of his career against the Giants, but there were no unexpected bonuses this time around. Meyers' recent slump roughly coincides with starter Jimmy Garoppolo getting hurt and eventually demoted to backup, as the two showed great chemistry earlier in the year after joining forces in Las Vegas this past offseason. That's not to say that Meyers can't develop a similar rapport with Aidan O'Connell over time, but until that happens, the wideout's fantasy value will continue taking hits until he shows us some signs of life. That next opportunity will come against the Dolphins in Week 11.
Nov 5, 2023
Scores first rushing TD of career
Meyers caught two of five targets for 38 yards while scoring a 17-yard rushing touchdown on his only carry in Sunday's 30-6 win over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
It was the first rushing touchdown of Meyers' career and also his longest carry on nine career attempts. The versatile wideout has now thrown, ran and caught a touchdown over the course of his five years in the league. The 27-year-old's six combined scores through eight games with Las Vegas already matches the high he set last season with New England when he had six scores over 14 games. The next stop for Meyers' breakout fantasy campaign will come in a home matchup against the Jets on Sunday Night Football in Week 10.
Oct 31, 2023
Held back by QB's poor play
Meyers caught his only target for 19 yards in Monday's 26-14 loss to the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Meyers' lone target didn't come until the fourth quarter, as Jimmy Garoppolo threw for just 62 yards through the first three quarters and finished with 126 passing yards in the quarterback's return from a back injury. The wide receiver also made a heads-up play later in the fourth to momentarily keep the Raiders' faint hopes alive, jumping on top of a Josh Jacobs fumble and advancing it one yard. Meyers had at least four catches in four of his previous six appearances this season, so he'll likely be much more involved in Week 9 against the Giants, assuming Garoppolo puts forth a sharper performance.
Oct 22, 2023
Finds end zone again Sunday
Meyers caught seven of 13 targets for 50 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-12 loss to the Bears.
ANALYSIS
The touchdown came in garbage time after rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell had replaced Brian Hoyer under center. Meyers has scored a TD in three straight games and five times total on the year, a far cry from his Patriot days when he found the end zone only twice in his first three seasons. Jimmy Garoppolo (back) is expected back in Week 8 against the Lions, but Meyers has shown he can be productive no matter who is throwing him the ball.
Oct 15, 2023
Catches lone receiving TD
Meyers had five receptions on six targets for 61 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 21-17 win over New England.
ANALYSIS
The Patriots' defense zoned in on No. 1 wideout Davante Adams, affording Meyers the opportunity to catch the Raiders' lone offensive touchdown Sunday. The former Patriot made his old club pay in the narrow victory, but he may be without his starting quarterback after Jimmy Garoppolo was knocked out of the game with a back injury. The free agent duo had combined forces in Las Vegas to make Meyers an early fantasy star this year, so Garoppolo's status could be key for the wideout heading into next Sunday's tilt against the Bears.
Oct 12, 2023
Upgraded to full participation
Meyers (wrist) was listed as a full participant on Thursday's practice estimate.
ANALYSIS
Following Monday's 17-13 win over the Packers, Meyers was listed as a limited participant on the Raiders' first Week 6 practice report issued Wednesday, but his upgrade to full activity a day later clears up any concern about his availability. The status of Davante Adams (shoulder) is a little more muddled after he was listed as a limited participant Thursday, but the expectation at this stage is that both of the Raiders' top two wideouts will be ready to play Sunday against the Patriots. In the four games that both players have suited up this season, Adams and Meyers have dominated the passing-game looks. Adams has averaged 11.5 targets per game in those four contests, while Meyers has averaged nine targets.
Oct 11, 2023
Limited on Wednesday's estimate
Meyers (wrist) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, Anthony Galaviz of The Fresno Bee reports.
ANALYSIS
The Raiders didn't practice Wednesday after playing Monday, but Meyers would have been limited had a practice taken place. Fellow wide receiver Davante Adams (shoulder) was listed as a non-participant, but at this stage, there's little reason to believe that either of Vegas' starting wideouts is in danger of sitting out Sunday against Meyers' former team, the Patriots.
Oct 10, 2023
Bounces back as starting QB returns
Meyers turned 10 targets into seven receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 17-13 win over Green Bay.
ANALYSIS
Meyers welcomed back starter Jimmy Garoppolo (concussion) with open arms after receiving a season low four targets in Week 4 with rookie Aidan O'Connell filling in for the injured starter. Meyers finished as the Raiders' leading receiver with fellow starter Davante Adams (shoulder) playing at less than 100 percent Monday. The former has now reached double-digit targets in all three games that both he and Jimmy G have been active in this season. Meyers is on pace for his first 1,000-yard season after achieving a 25-274-3 receiving line through four starts with his new club. The former Patriot will begin preparing to face his old club in a home matchup against New England in Week 6.
Oct 1, 2023
Overlooked by O'Connell
Meyers recorded two receptions on four targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Meyers had proven to be a key target for Jimmy Garoppolo (concussion) in two games this season, commanding 10 and 12 targets. However, he lost out significantly with Aidan O'Connell under center, as Davante Adams and Josh Jacobs were the only two pass catchers to be targeted more than four times. The good news for Meyers is that Garoppolo is likely to return in time for a Week 5 matchup against the Packers.
Sep 25, 2023
Garners 12 targets on SNF
Meyers (concussion) turned 12 targets into seven receptions for 85 yards in Sunday's 23-18 loss to the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Meyers returned from a one-game absence after clearing the league's concussion protocol, resuming his role as the Raiders' No. 2 wideout. His 12 targets finished only behind teammate Davante Adams, who racked up a whopping 13-172-2 receiving line on 20 targets. Meyers still finished with a strong fantasy line in his own right, and he has now recorded double-digit targets in both of his active games since joining Las Vegas this past offseason. With his health back in order and a significant role on offense, Meyers is shaping up to be a strong fantasy asset this season, which continues with a Week 4 matchup against the 0-3 Chargers next Sunday.
Sep 22, 2023
Good to go for Week 3
Meyers (concussion) was a full participant in practice Friday and doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game in Pittsburgh, Anthony Galaviz of The Fresno Bee reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was a full participant both Thursday and Friday after clearing the league's five-step concussion protocol. He missed Vegas' Week 2 loss to Buffalo after getting hurt late in the season opener against Denver. Meyers was integral to the win over the Broncos, scoring two touchdowns in his team debut. He's expected to return to a starting role on the outside opposite Davante Adams against the Steelers.
Sep 22, 2023
Clear of concussion protocol
Meyes (concussion) has fully cleared the NFL's five-step protocol for brain injuries, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers practiced in full Thursday and looks fully on track for Sunday night's matchup against the Steelers. The No. 2 wideout sat out Week 2 due to a hit sustained during the Raiders' regular-season opener, a game in which he secured nine of ten targets for 81 yards and two scores prior to departing. Meyers retaking the field alongside Davante Adams will bode well for Jimmy Garoppolo's odds of finding success through the air versus Pittsburgh's secondary.
Sep 21, 2023
Full practice participant
Meyers (concussion) was listed as a full practice participant Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who was inactive in Week 2, was limited Wednesday, but the wideout's full participation in Thursday's practice has him trending toward a return to action Sunday night against the Steelers. Added context regarding Meyers' status -- including whether he has completely cleared the NFL's concussion protocol -- will arrive no later than Friday, once the Raiders' final Week 3 injury report is posted.
Sep 20, 2023
Logs limited practice
Meyers (concussion) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who suffered a concussion in Week 1, is "moving through the protocol the right way," coach Josh McDaniels noted Wednesday, while adding that the team "can't declare anything" just yet about the wideout's Week 3 status. With a limited session under his belt, Meyers will look to practice fully by Friday, and if he does it's possible he'll gain clearance to return to action Sunday night against the Steelers.
Sep 20, 2023
Returning to practice
Meyers (concussion) will practice Wednesday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers entered concussion protocol during the Week 1 win over Denver and wasn't able to practice at all last week ahead of a blowout loss to Buffalo. He could be back Sunday night against Pittsburgh and should be the second option in the Raiders' passing game if so.
Sep 18, 2023
Trending in right direction
Coach Josh McDaniels said Meyers (concussion) is "headed in the right direction," but it's too early to know if he'll be cleared for the Raiders' home opener against the Steelers on Sunday night, Jimmy Durkin of the Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers didn't play in Week 2 after suffering a concussion during the season opener. The wideout made his presence felt before getting knocked out of the game, recording nine receptions (10 targets) for 81 yards and two touchdowns. McDaniels' comments are encouraging, but further clarity on Meyers' availability should surface Wednesday when the Raiders have to release their first injury report of Week 3.
Sep 15, 2023
Won't face Bills on Sunday
Meyers (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers didn't practice this week and will target a potential return to action in Week 3 against the Steelers. Per Paul Gutierrez of ESPN, in Meyers' absence, slot receiver Hunter Renfrow and rookie TE Michael Mayer are candidates to see additional Week 2 targets, while DeAndre Carter, Kristian Wilkerson and Tre Tucker are on hand to provide the Raiders with WR depth versus Buffalo on Sunday.
Sep 15, 2023
Not likely to play Sunday
Coach Josh McDaniels indicated that Meyers (concussion) is viewed as doubtful to play Sunday against the Bills, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Friday's injury report will confirm the wideout's official Week 2 injury designation, but at this stage Meyers is trending toward missing Sunday's contest. in the event that he is out versus Buffalo, DeAndre Carter (knee), Kristian Wilkerson and Tre Tucker would be candidates to see added snaps alongside Davante Adams and Hunter Renfrow.
Sep 14, 2023
Remains sidelined Thursday
Meyers (concussion) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was concussed toward the end of Week 1 and remains in the league's protocol with a pair of DNPs to open the week. It would be a surprise if he gains clearance ahead of Sunday's Week 2 date against the Bills. DeAndre Carter and rookie Tre Tucker will be asked to take on larger offensive roles should Meyers sit out.
Sep 13, 2023
DNP to begin week
Meyers (concussion) didn't take part in Wednesday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Prior to the high hit that he took from Broncos safety Kareem Jackson this past Sunday, Meyers had notched nine catches (on 10 targets) for 81 yards and two touchdowns. The aforementioned play in the waning moments of the fourth quarter sent Meyers to the concussion protocol, and he's yet to progress enough to step on the practice field. He'll have two more chances to do so this week, which also can be said for Davante Adams (foot) and DeAndre Carter (knee), both of whom were DNPs to begin Week 2 prep. Aside from that trio, Hunter Renfrow, Kristian Wilkerson and Tre Tucker are the healthy wide receivers on the Raiders' active roster.
Sep 13, 2023
Still in concussion protocol
Coach Josh McDaniels noted Wednesday that Meyers remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers still has time to progress through the protocol ahead of Week 2 action, but his status will need to be monitored as this weekend's game against the Bills approaches. Prior to being forced out of this past Sunday's 17-16 win over the Broncos, Meyers caught nine of his 10 targets for 81 yards and two TDs.
Sep 11, 2023
In concussion protocol
Meyers is in the league's five-step concussion protocol Monday, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers suffered a concussion during Sunday's 17-16 win over the Broncos, a contest that saw him secure nine of 10 targets for 81 yards and two touchdowns. He suffered the injury on a hit from Kareem Jackson late in the fourth quarter. Meyers will need to gain full medical clearance before he can suit up again, making his status unclear for Week 2's matchup in Buffalo. Hunter Renfrow would stand to step up behind Davante Adams if Meyers is forced to miss any time.
Sep 10, 2023
Possible concussion after two TDs
Meyers is being evaluated for a concussion after Sunday's 17-16 win over the Broncos, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports. Prior to getting injured in the fourth quarter, Meyers caught nine of 10 targets for 81 yards and two touchdowns.
ANALYSIS
Meyers stayed down after a high hit from Kareem Jackson in the game's final minutes. After eventually being helped to his feet, Meyers was immediately taken to the locker room, per Chris Tomasson of the Denver Gazette. Gutierrez notes that Meyers was upright in the locker room, but the wide receiver will need to clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol to have a chance to build on his productive debut in Week 2 against the Bills.
Aug 20, 2023
Solid gain on one catch
Meyers brought in his only target for 18 yards in the Raiders' 34-17 preseason win over the Rams on Saturday night.
ANALYSIS
The veteran wideout made his one grab count, bringing in a pass from Jimmy Garoppolo on the Raiders' opening drive to take the ball down to the Rams' 19-yard line. Meyers should develop into a highly reliable short- and medium-range target for Garoppolo during the coming campaign while working alongside Davante Adams and Hunter Renfrow in three-wide sets.
Mar 14, 2023
Lands in Las Vegas
The Raiders are in line to sign Meyers to a three-year, $33 million contract, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers heads to a familiar offensive scheme under coach Josh McDaniels while landing a relatively affordable deal, including $21 million guaranteed. After operating as New England's top wideout in recent years, Meyers now slots in as a comfortable No. 2 option behind top receiver Davante Adams, giving new quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (foot) a more complete complement of skill-position players. Meyers' departure leaves the Patriots with a significant void to fill in the passing game.
Jan 8, 2023
Set to be UFA after six-TD season
Meyers (shoulder) caught three of seven targets for 32 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 35-23 loss to the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Meyers' two-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter was reviewed, but the touchdown call stood after the replay official ruled that he managed to get both feet down in the back of the end zone. The pending unrestricted free agent finishes the season on a three-game touchdown streak, raising his season totals to 67 catches, 804 yards and six touchdowns on 96 targets. Meyers was targeted 222 times over the past two seasons, so New England would have a substantial vacancy to fill should Meyers sign elsewhere.
Jan 8, 2023
Suits up Sunday
Meyers (shoulder) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who aggravated a shoulder injury during last week's win over the Dolphins, was able to practice in a limited fashion Wednesday through Friday, before being listed as questionable for Sunday's contest. With his Week 18 availability confirmed, New England's top wide receiver should remain a key target for QB Mac Jones in a game that the team needs to win in order to secure a spot in the upcoming postseason. To date, Meyers has caught 64 of his 89 targets for 772 yards and five TDs, a rate of production that makes him the Patriots' most reliable pass-catcher from a fantasy perspective.
Jan 6, 2023
Listed as questionable
Meyers (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills after practicing in a limited fashion this week, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
During Week 17 action, Meyers aggravated a shoulder injury that he had previously dealt with, but given that he was able to practice this week, albeit in a limited capacity, we suspect that that the Patriots' top wide receiver will be available this weekend. In any case, Meyers' status will be confirmed in advance of the first batch of games Sunday, with New England kicking off at 1:00 ET.
Jan 5, 2023
Another limited practice
Meyers (shoulder) remained limited at practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
At this stage, we'd be surprised if Meyers misses Sunday's game against the Bills, but unless the wideout practices fully Friday, he figures to head into the weekend with a Week 18 injury designation.
Jan 4, 2023
Logs limited practice
Meyers was limited at practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Following this past weekend's 23-21 win over the Dolphins, Meyers suggested that he was "fine" after aggravating his shoulder injury during the contest. That said, unless he returns to a fully practice by Friday, the Patriots' top wide receiver figures to approach Sunday's scheduled game against the Bills with a Week 18 injury designation.
Jan 1, 2023
Downplays shoulder injury
Meyers suggested following Sunday's 23-21 win over the Dolphins that he's "fine" after aggravating his shoulder injury during the contest, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Prior to his exit from Sunday's tilt, Meyers managed to catch six of his nine targets for 48 yards and a TD. While the wideout's post-game comments would seem to indicate that he plans to play next weekend against the Bills, we'd still expect Meyers' name to appear on the Patriots' Week 18 injury report.
Jan 1, 2023
Injures shoulder Sunday
Meyers exited Sunday's game against the Dolphins after suffering a shoulder injury.
ANALYSIS
Before being forced out of the contest, Meyers had caught six of his nine targets for 48 yards and a TD. As long as he's sidelined, added snaps will be available for Tyquan Thornton, Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor.
Dec 25, 2022
Productive day in loss
Meyers secured six of seven targets for 83 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' 22-18 loss to the Bengals on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers tied Kendrick Bourne for the team lead in receptions while checking in second to him in receiving yards and targets. He also recorded a memorable touchdown grab with just over six minutes remaining when the ball was deflected at the goal line and landed in Meyers' hands for the score. The fourth-year wideout's reception and receiving yardage totals were his best since Week 8 and Week 5, respectively, affording him plenty of momentum heading into a critical Week 17 home showdown against the Dolphins on Sunday, Jan. 1.
Dec 24, 2022
Listed as active Saturday
Meyers (shoulder) is listed as active for Saturday's game against the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
Meyers approached the contest listed as questionable after being limited in practice this week, but he'll play through his shoulder issue and should continue to log enough snaps and targets to merit lineup consideration in PPR formats. That said, the Patriots' top wide receiver's fantasy ceiling Saturday hinges on signal-caller Mac Jones rebounding from a 112-yard passing effort in the team's Week 15 loss to the Raiders, a game in which Meyers caught two of his six targets for 47 yards.
Dec 24, 2022
Expected to play Saturday
Meyers (shoulder) is expected to be available for Saturday's game against the Bengals, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers is listed as questionable for the contest after practicing in a limited fashion Tuesday through Thursday, but Rapoport indicates that the wide receiver is trending toward being active versus Cincinnati. Official confirmation of Meyers' Week 16 status will arrive once the Patriots' inactives are posted ahead of Saturday's 1:00 ET kickoff.
Dec 22, 2022
Listed as questionable
Meyers (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Bengals after practicing in a limited fashion Tuesday through Thursday, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
We'd be surprised if Meyers isn't available this weekend, but his status is nonetheless worth verifying as Saturday's 1:00 kickoff approaches. Assuming he suits up, Meyers should see enough snaps and targets to merit lineup consideration in PPR formats, but his Week 16 upside hinges on QB Mac Jones bouncing back from a 112-yard passing effort in this past Sunday's 30-24 loss to the Raiders.
Dec 21, 2022
Limited by shoulder issue
Meyers (shoulder) was listed as limited at practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers moved past a concussion to suit up for this past Sunday's loss to the Raiders, logging a 62 percent snap share, while catching two of his six targets for 47 yards. A shoulder issue has limited him at practice this week, but we'd be surprised if Meyers missed Saturday's game against the Bengals, though there's still a solid chance the Patriots list him as questionable for the contest.
Dec 20, 2022
Listed on injury report still
Meyers (concussion) is listed as a limited participant on Tuesday's practice report estimate.
ANALYSIS
It's an unusual move to list Meyers on the practice report after he cleared concussion protocol and played in Sunday's 30-24 loss to the Raiders. He did play somewhat less than usual -- 62 percent snap share, compared to 80-plus every week in the first half of the season -- but there was no report of any setback. Unless something is reported, Meyers should be good to go for Sunday's matchup with the Bengals.
Dec 18, 2022
Quiet day ends in disaster
Meyers caught two of six targets for 47 yards in Sunday's 30-24 loss to the Raiders.
ANALYSIS
The entire Patriots passing game struggled and Meyers wound up leading the team in receiving yards in his return from a one-game absence due to a concussion, but his performance was marred by a nightmarish ending -- with the score tied, the Patriots tried to produce a miracle touchdown on their final play, only for Meyers' attempted back pass to Mac Jones to wind up being grabbed by Chandler Jones instead, who rumbled the other way for the game-winning score. Meyers hasn't topped 62 yards in eight straight appearances, but he may need to be more productive in Week 16 as the Patriots try to keep up with Joe Burrow and the Bengals.
Dec 18, 2022
Returns to action Sunday
Meyers (concussion) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After finishing the week with a limited practice, Meyers will suit up Sunday, following a one-game absence due to a concussion he sustained versus the Bills on Dec. 1. With fellow wideout DeVante Parker (concussion) inactive, barring any setbacks Meyers should reclaim his key pass-catching role in the Patriots Week 15 offense alongside Nelson Agholor, Kendrick Bourne and Tyquan Thornton. Through 10 games to date, Meyers is averaging five catches (on 6.7 targets) for 59.3 yards, to go along with three TDs, a pace the keeps him on the fantasy radar, particularly in PPR formats.
Dec 17, 2022
Trending toward return Sunday
The Patriots expect Meyers (concussion) to play Sunday against the Raiders, Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who was inactive this past Monday against the Cardinals, is officially listed as questionable after practicing in a limited fashion Friday, but it looks as though he's trending toward a return to the lineup Sunday following a one-game absence. Official confirmation of the wide receiver's Week 15 status will arrive once the Patriots' inactives are posted ahead of the team's 4:05 ET kickoff.
Dec 16, 2022
Listed as questionable for Week 15
Meyers (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers closed out the week with a limited practice, which gives him a chance to return to action this weekend following a one-game absence. Meanwhile, fellow wideout Parker (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest. Look for added context with regard to Meyers' Week 15 status to arrive late Saturday or early Sunday, but if he's available, the 26-year-old would presumably be in line to reclaim a key role in a Patriots wideout corps that also includes Nelson Agholor, Kendrick Bourne and Tyquan Thornton.
Dec 16, 2022
Spotted at Friday's practice
Meyers (concussion) was present for the portion of Friday's practice open to the media, Mike Reiss of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was limited Wednesday before failing to practice Thursday, and the extent of his participation Friday has yet to be clarified. New England's No. 1 wide receiver will need to clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol to suit up Sunday in Las Vegas.
Dec 15, 2022
Gets downgrade to DNP
Meyers (concussion) officially didn't practice Thursday, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Initially, Meyers was listed as limited for a second day in a row on New England's Week 15 injury report. However, the team updated Thursday's version later, making him a non-participant for the fourth time on five reports since being diagnosed with a concussion Week 13 against the Bills. Considering the mid-week downgrade, Meyers seemingly doesn't have a great chance to suit up Sunday at Las Vegas, with Friday's report revealing whether he enters the weekend with a designation or ruled out for a second consecutive contest.
Dec 15, 2022
Stays limited at practice
Meyers (concussion) remained limited at practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
While Meyers was deemed a limited participant both Wednesday and Thursday, fellow wideout DeVante Parker (concussion) has yet to practice this week. Considering that, Meyers seems more likely to play this weekend against the Raiders than Parker, but chances are he'll approach Sunday's 4:05 ET contest with a Week 15 injury designation.
Dec 14, 2022
Listed as limited Wednesday
Meyers (concussion) was deemed limited at Wednesday's practice, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Previous reports noted that the wideout wasn't spotted during the media-access portion of practice, but evidently Meyers got some work in after all. With that in mind, Meyers would appear to have a chance to be cleared to play Sunday against the Raiders, though he'll presumably need to practice fully by the end of the week in order to avoid a Week 15 injury designation.
Dec 14, 2022
Not practicing Wednesday
Meyers (concussion) didn't participate in practice Wednesday, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
The same applies to DeVante Parker (head), which clouds the duo's status for Sunday's game against the Raiders. If one or both wideouts are unavailable this weekend, added Week 15 snaps would be available for Nelson Agholor, Kendrick Bourne and Tyquan Thornton.
Dec 10, 2022
Out for Monday
Meyers (concussion) will not play Monday against the Cardinals, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
This was expected after it was reported Meyers was unable to practice all week. With the talented slot receiver now confirmed out, expect Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne to see additional snaps inside in three-wide receiver sets with Tyquan Thornton likely in line for a handful of additional snaps outside.
Dec 10, 2022
Still not practicing Saturday
Meyers (concussion) was not spotted at Saturday's practice, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
That now makes three straight absences for the Patriots' stud slot receiver. Expect more clarity with the team's final injury report later Saturday, but in the event Meyers is unable to play, Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne should see more opportunities.
Dec 9, 2022
Still not practicing
Meyers (concussion) remained sidelined at practice Friday, Zack Coxof NESN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Back-to-back missed sessions cloud Meyers' status for Monday night's game against the Cardinals, but the Patriots' top wide receiver has one more chance to practice before Week 14 injury designations are assigned. If Meyers ends up not being cleared to face Arizona, however, DeVante Parker, Nelson Agholor, Kendrick Bourne and Tyquan Thornton would be in line to handle added WR snaps and targets for New England.
Dec 8, 2022
Misses practice with concussion
Meyers, who didn't participate in Thursday's practice, is in the NFL's concussion protocol, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was forced out of last Thursday's loss to the Bills due to a reported head injury, but now it's been confirmed that the wideout is dealing with a concussion ahead of Monday night's game against the Cardinals. Meyers now has two more chance to practice ahead of the contest, but if he's unavailable versus Arizona, DeVante Parker, Nelson Agholor, Kendrick Bourne and Tyquan Thornton would be candidates to log added Week 14 WR snaps/targets.
Dec 8, 2022
Not practicing Thursday
Meyers (head) wasn't spotted at practice Thursday, Mark Daniels of Masslive.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers left last Thursday's loss to the Bills due to a head injury, and while the wideout suggested afterward that he was 'fine,' his absence from practice a week later makes his status worth tracking as Monday night's game against the Cardinals approaches. If Meyers is limited or sidelined versus Arizona, DeVante Parker, Nelson Agholor, Kendrick Bourne and Tyquan Thornton would be candidates to see added pass-catching opportunities in Week 14.
Dec 1, 2022
Examined for head injury
Meyers entered the blue tent to be evaluated for potential head injury Thursday against the Bills, Chris Mason of The Springfield Republican reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was hit hard in the end zone late in the fourth quarter, which broke up what originally appeared to be a touchdown catch. Due to the injury occurring late in the game, Meyers will likely be out for the rest of Thursday's game -- though nothing has officially been announced by the Patriots.
Dec 1, 2022
Suits up Thursday
Meyers (shoulder) is listed as active for Thursday night's game against the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was listed as limited on the Patriots' practice reports Monday through Wednesday and approached the contest listed as questionable, but he'll give it a go versus 8-3 Buffalo on the heels of being limited to 16 snaps in the Patriots' 33-26 overtime loss to the Vikings last Thursday. Barring any in-game setbacks, Meyers -- who has recorded a 47/571/3 receiving line through nine games to date -- should log enough snaps in Week 13 to merit fantasy lineup consideration against a Bills defense that is allowing an average of 221.6 passing yards per contest.
Dec 1, 2022
Expected to play versus Bills
Meyers (shoulder), who is listed as questionable, is expected to play Thursday against the Bills, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
After being listed as a limited participants on practice reports issued Monday through Wednesday, Meyers carried the questionable tag into Thursday. The shoulder issue doesn't look to be anything that will prevent Meyers from playing, however. Official confirmation of Meyers' Week 13 status will arrive once New England releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.
Nov 30, 2022
Listed as questionable for Thursday
Meyers (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game against the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who was listed as limited on the Patriots' Monday through Wednesday practice reports, has indicated that he expects to play Thursday, per Chris Mason of The Springfield Republican. Official confirmation of his Week 13 status will arrive when the team's inactives are posted ahead of New England's 8:15 ET kickoff, but at this stage it appears as though the team's leading wide receiver (47/571/3 in nine games) will be available versus Buffalo and if so, Meyers should log enough snaps to maintain fantasy relevance, notably in PPR formats.
Nov 29, 2022
Limited, but plans to play Thursday
Meyers (shoulder) remained a limited participant at Tuesday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Though Meyers played a season-low 16 percent of the Patriots' snaps on offense in last week's Thanksgiving Day loss to the Vikings, the receiver said after the game that he didn't think his sore shoulder would affect his availability moving forward. Meyers has been listed as limited on both of the Patriots' first two Week 13 injury reports, but he said Tuesday that his shoulder is feeling "a lot better," according to Zack Cox of NESN.com. Meyers reiterated that he will suit up Thursday against the Bills, though it won't be known whether he approaches that game with a designation until after the Patriots complete their final practice of the week Wednesday.
Nov 28, 2022
Limited to start Week 13 prep
Meyers (shoulder) was a limited participant during Monday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was held to just 16 offensive snaps during New England's Thanksgiving Day loss to Minnesota due to a shoulder injury, though he still caught three of four targets for 62 yards. The wideout downplayed the injury following the game, and his participation at practice Monday, albeit in a limited fashion, is an encouraging sign. Meyers will have two more opportunities to log a full session before the team needs to make a decision on his status for Thursday's divisional clash against Buffalo.
Nov 25, 2022
Dealing with shoulder issue
Meyers downplayed the shoulder issue he dealt with during Thursday's 33-26 loss to the Vikings, Chris Mason of Masslive.com reports.
ANALYSIS
"Sore. I'll be alright though," Meyers said of his shoulder following the contest. "It started to feel better as the game went on." Though Meyers was limited to 16 snaps versus the Vikings, he still managed to catch three passes (on four targets) for 62 yards in the contest. Look for the Patriots' top wideout to appear on next week's injury report ahead of the team's Dec. 1 game against the Bills, but at this stage it appears as though Meyers is trending toward being available for Week 13 action.
Nov 25, 2022
Solid yardage total in loss
Meyers brought in three of four targets for 62 yards in the Patriots' 33-26 loss to the Vikings on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Meyers had the rare experience of being outpaced in catches by two of his position mates, Nelson Agholor (six receptions) and DeVante Parker (four grabs). However, the third-year wideout did post his third-highest yardage total of the campaign and best since Week 5, making it a reasonably productive night overall. Meyers now takes aim at the tough Bills secondary next Thursday night in a critical Week 13 home divisional matchup.
Nov 20, 2022
Notches sixth 50-yard game of 2022
Meyers caught four of six targets for 52 yards in Sunday's 10-3 win over the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Meyers tied Rhamondre Stevenson for the team lead in targets and finished four receiving yards shy of the running back's team-high total. New England's offense didn't get into the end zone, as the game's only touchdown came on a Patriots punt return in the final minute. Meyers is rarely a threat to score himself -- he has only five receiving touchdowns in 54 career NFL games -- but he's been a reliable chain-mover for New England, accruing over 50 yards in six of eight games this season. Up next for Meyers and the Patriots is a Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Vikings.
Nov 6, 2022
Targeted six times in win
Meyers recorded five receptions on six targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 26-3 win over the Colts.
ANALYSIS
The Patriots didn't need to get aggressive on offense in order to win, and that was reflected in Meyers' stat line. He managed at least five receptions for the fourth time in seven games on the campaign but still came away with his second-lowest yardage total in that same span. The Patriots will head into their bye and may return to another slow-paced game dominated by defense in Week 11 against the Jets.
Oct 30, 2022
Five-yard TD among nine catches
Meyers caught nine of 12 targets for 60 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 22-17 win over the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Meyers gave the Patriots a 13-10 lead with a five-yard touchdown catch early in the third quarter as the Patriots dinked and dunked their way to victory. In addition to scoring the team's only touchdown, the shifty slot receiver led New England in targets and catches while finishing 12 receiving yards short of Rhamondre Stevenson's team-high total. Stevenson and Meyers are the only skill players seeing consistent usage for the Patriots heading into the team's Week 9 game against the Colts.
Oct 25, 2022
Finds end zone in MNF loss
Meyers recorded two receptions on two targets for 34 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 33-14 loss to the Bears.
ANALYSIS
Meyers made a splash early in the game by hauling in a 30-yard pass from Bailey Zappe to account for New England's first score of the game. However, he largely disappeared from there and was out-targeted by both DeVante Parker and Tyquan Thornton. It was only Meyers' fourth career touchdown across 51 games, and he is typically reliant upon target volume to be productive. If either of Bailey Zappe or Mac Jones continue to spread the ball around, Meyers could struggle to produce moving forward.
Oct 16, 2022
Four-catch afternoon in win
Meyers (knee) brought in all four targets for 60 yards in the Patriots' 38-15 win over the Browns on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers finished with a second straight solid stat line after posting a 7-111-1 line on eight targets in his Week 5 return. The fourth-year pro may be dealing with lingering knee issues for some time, but as the last two games have demonstrated, they aren't impeding his production. Meyers figures to be busy once again in a Week 7 Monday night home matchup versus the Bears.
Oct 16, 2022
Suits up Sunday
Meyers (knee) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who returned to action last weekend against the Lions after missing two games, practiced in a limited fashion this week, but he'll be out there on the heels of recording a 7/111/1 stat line on eight Bailey Zappe targets in Week 5. Despite having suited up for just three contests to date, Meyers still leads the Patriots in catches (20), targets (27) and receiving yards (261) to go along with the TD he scored against Detroit.
Oct 15, 2022
Expected to face Browns
Meyers (knee), officially listed as questionable, is expected to play Sunday against the Browns, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers missed two games with a knee injury earlier in the season, though he returned in Week 5 to post a seven-reception, 111-yard performance against the Lions. He logged three limited practices throughout the week and is likely to be able to lead the Patriots' receiving corps once again against the Browns.
Oct 14, 2022
Listed as questionable
Meyers (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game game Browns, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who practiced in a limited fashion all week, also had his reps managed in Week 5 before being listed as questionable and then suiting up for this past Sunday's 29-0 win over the Lions en route recording a 7/111/1 stat line on eight targets. At this stage, there's nothing to suggest that Meyers will be out this weekend, with his Week 6 availability slated to be confirmed in advance of the first wave of kickoffs Sunday, with the Patriots facing Cleveland at 1:00 ET.
Oct 13, 2022
Logs limited practice
Meyers (knee) remained limited at practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers -- who was also limited Wednesday -- had his practice reps managed last week as well, but he was able to log a 7-111-1 receiving line on eight targets in this past Sunday's 29-0 win over the Lions. With no reported setbacks since then, we suspect that he'll be a go this weekend against the Browns, but Friday's injury report will clarify whether he approaches the contest with an injury designation or fully cleared to play in Week 6.
Oct 12, 2022
Limited at practice Wednesday
Meyers (knee) was limited at practice Wednesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was one of 11 players listed as limited by the Patriots on Wednesday, but he's coming off a 7/111/1 effort on eight targets in his return to action from a two-game absence in this past Sunday's 29-0 win over the Lions. With no reported setbacks in the contest (in which he logged 48 of a possible 60 snaps on offense) Meyers' listed limitations to start his team's practice week could well be maintenance-related.
Oct 9, 2022
Eclipses 100-yard mark in return
Meyers brought in seven of eight targets for 111 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' 29-0 win over the Lions on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers made a triumphant return from a two-game absence due to a knee injury, leading the Patriots air attack across the board with team-high reception, yardage and target totals. The fourth-year wideout added his first touchdown of the season for good measure, scoring from 24 yards out in tandem with rookie signal-caller Bailey Zappe late in the third quarter. Now apparently back to full health and having seen position mate Nelson Agholor exit Sunday's game early with a hamstring injury, Meyers could be due for another heavy workload in a Week 6 road matchup against the Browns, a game that could feature the return of Mac Jones (ankle) under center.
Oct 9, 2022
Suits up Sunday
Meyers (knee) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Meyers is back in the mix after missing two straight games, though he'll be catching passes from rookie Bailey Zappe in Week 5, with Mac Jones (ankle) inactive. While coming back from an injury and the Patriots potentially leaning on the run Sunday, Meyers looks like a hit-or-miss fantasy option in his return to action.
Oct 7, 2022
Listed as questionable
Meyers (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions after logging limited practices Wednesday through Friday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was also limited in practices last week before missing a second straight game in this past Sunday's loss to the Packers, but it looks like he has a solid chance to return to action this weekend. Either way, the wideout's Week 5 status will be confirmed before the first wave of games, with the Patriots kicking off at 1:00 ET. At that stage, if not sooner, there should be added clarity with regard to the team's QB situation, given that starter Mac Jones (ankle) is listed as doubtful and trending toward giving way to rookie Bailey Zappe versus Detroit.
Oct 5, 2022
Remains limited at practice
Meyers (knee) was limited at practice Wednesday, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was also limited last week before missing a second straight game Sunday against the Packers. At this stage, it's unclear if he'll be available for this weekend's game against the Lions, but if he is it remains to be seen who he'd be catching passes from, with Mac Jones dealing with an ankle injury and Brian Hoyer having suffered a concussion in Week 4.
Oct 1, 2022
Won't play Sunday
Meyers (knee) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Packers.
ANALYSIS
Now that Meyers is set to miss another game, DeVante Parker, Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne are in line to lead the Patriots' Week 4 wideout corps, with Lil'Jordan Humphrey also in the mix. With Mac Jones (ankle) ruled out this weekend, they'll be catching passes from backup quarterback Brian Hoyer, a context that makes the team's available pass-catchers hit-or-miss fantasy options versus Green Bay.
Sep 30, 2022
Questionable for Week 4
Meyers (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Packers, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
The report notes that Meyers, who was limited in practice this week, indicated that he's trending in the right direction and hopes to play this weekend after being inactive in Week 3. If Meyers is able to suit up for Sunday's 4:25 ET contest, he'd be catching passes from backup QB Brian Hoyer, with Mac Jones (ankle) ruled out. In that context, Meyers would profile as a hit-or-miss fantasy option in a New England offense that could lean on the ground game in Week 4.

Logs another limited practice
Meyers (knee) remained limited at practice Thursday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers sat out the Patriots' Week 3 loss to the Ravens, but back-to-back limited practices -- albeit in a limited fashion -- offer hope that he could suit up Sunday against the Packers. That said, unless Meyers practices fully Friday, look for him to head into the weekend officially listed as questionable.
Sep 28, 2022
Limited at practice
Meyers (knee) was listed as limited at Wednesday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was inactive for this past Sunday's game against the Ravens after logging a limited practice Friday. With another limited session under his belt, it's possible that Meyers could return to action this weekend against the Packers, but he'll need to practice fully by the end of the week in order to avoid a Week 4 injury designation. In his absence against Baltimore, DeVante Parker, Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor worked as New England's top wide receiver targets.
Sep 25, 2022
Inactive Sunday
Meyers (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Ravens.
ANALYSIS
With Meyers unavailable Sunday, fellow WRs DeVante Parker, Kendrick Bourne and Lil'Jordan Humphrey are in line see to added opportunities versus Baltimore alongside Nelson Agholor. Meanwhile, the team's top tight ends (Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith) are also candidates to see added involvement in the team's Week 3 passing attack.
Sep 25, 2022
Not expected to play in Week 3
Meyers (knee, questionable) is not expected to play Sunday against the Ravens, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Official confirmation of Meyers' Week 3 status will arrive ahead of Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff, but if he is deemed out, then DeVante Parker, Kendrick Bourne and Lil'Jordan Humphrey would be in line see added opportunities alongside fellow wide receiver Nelson Agholor. Additionally, New England's top tight ends (Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith) could also see added involvement in the team's Week 3 offense.
Sep 23, 2022
Questionable for Sunday's game
Meyers (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens after returning to a limited practice Friday, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Fortunately for those considering the Patriots' leading pass catcher in fantasy lineups, the team kicks off at 1:00 ET on Sunday. If Meyers - who has caught 13 of his 19 targets for 150 yards in two games -- ends up out or limited this weekend, DeVante Parker, Kendrick Bourne and Lil'Jordan Humphrey would be candidates to see added opportunities versus Baltimore alongside fellow wide receiver Nelson Agholor, while the team's top tight ends (Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith) could also see added involvement in the team's offense in Week 3.
Sep 22, 2022
Misses another practice
Meyers (knee) remained sidelined at practice Thursday, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Back-to-back practice absences cloud Meyers' Week 3 status, but a return to the field Friday in any capacity could brighten his outlook on that front. If, however, Meyers is unable to suit up Sunday against the Ravens, DeVante Parker, Kendrick Bourne and Lil'Jordan Humphrey would be candidates to see added opportunities versus Baltimore alongside fellow WR Nelson Agholor.
Sep 21, 2022
Sits out practice
Meyers (knee) didn't practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
In the Patriots' Week 2 win over the Steelers, Meyers logged 56 of a possible 68 snaps on offense, while catching a team-high nine passes for 95 yards on 13 targets. Leading up to Week 1 action, a knee issue limited Meyers' practice participation, so it's possible that his absence Wednesday could be maintenance-related. A return to the field in any capacity Thursday would support that notion and have the wideout trending toward active status this weekend against the Ravens.
Sep 18, 2022
Double-digit targets
Meyers caught nine passes for 95 yards on 13 targets against Pittsburgh on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was less explosive than Nelson Agholor (six catches for 110 yards and one touchdown on six targets) but more than doubled Agholor's target volume. It's a reminder that Meyers is more of a floor player than a ceiling one, but if he keeps getting double-digit targets the truly big game will happen eventually.
Sep 11, 2022
Leading receiver in Week 1 loss
Meyers (knee) caught four of six targets for 55 yards in Sunday's 20-7 loss to Miami.
ANALYSIS
Meyers showed no sign of the knee injury that landed him on the injury report throughout the week, as he led the Patriots in catches, targets and receiving yards. While New England's offense remains run-first, Meyers appears to have retained his role as the top target for game manager Mac Jones despite the offseason addition of DeVante Parker. The Patriots will travel to Pittsburgh in Week 2.
Sep 11, 2022
Suits up Sunday
Meyers (knee) is listed as active for Sunday's season opener against the Dolphins, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After being a limited practice participant this week, Meyers will give it a go Sunday, which barring any in-game setbacks or limitations due to his knee issue, puts him in a position maintain a key pass-catching role in the Patriots offense alongside fellow wideouts DeVante Parker, Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor. The 25-year-old is coming off a 2021 campaign in which he led the team with 83 catches (on 126 targets) for 866 yards and two TDs in 17 games, and this year Meyers once again figures to see steady enough volume to yield decent fantasy utility in PPR formats when he's 100 percent.
Sep 11, 2022
In line to face Dolphins
Meyers (knee) is expected to suit up for Sunday's divisional matchup in Miami, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The Patriots have Meyers officially listed as questionable, but it appears that the wideout is all set for Week 1 after having logged a trio of limited practices. As long as he can avoid any pre-game setbacks, Meyers will be in line to handle his usual key pass-catching role against DeVante Parker, Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor, facing off against a Dolphins secondary that could be vulnerable without Byron Jones (ankle).
Sep 9, 2022
Listed as questionable for Week 1
Meyers (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's season opener against the Dolphins.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who was a limited practice participant this week, is one of five players listed as questionable by the Patriots for this weekend's season opener. Fortunately for those considering the wideout in Week 1 fantasy lineups, New England kicks off at 1:00 ET on Sunday. As long as he's available versus Miami, Meyers is in line to maintain a key pass-catching role in the team's offense alongside fellow wideouts DeVante Parker, Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor.
Sep 8, 2022
Remains limited at practice
Meyers (knee) remained limited at practice Thursday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After having logged back-to-back limited practice sessions, Meyers will need to upgrade to full participation Friday in order to approach Sunday's season opener against the Dolphins minus an injury designation. If he's available this weekend, Meyers is in line to maintain a key pass-catching role in New England's offense alongside fellow WRs DeVante Parker, Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor.
Sep 7, 2022
Limited practice Wednesday
Meyers (knee) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who exited the Patriots' preseason finale early, is tending to a knee issue ahead of Sunday's season opener against the Dolphins, but the fact that he was able to practice Wednesday is a positive indicator with regard to his Week 1 status. Assuming he's available this weekend, Meyers is poised to maintain a key role in a Patriots wide receiver corps that also includes newcomer DeVante Parker and returnees Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor.
Aug 29, 2022
At Monday's practice
Meyers (leg) was present for Monday's practice, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The report notes that Meyers, who exited Friday's preseason finale early, was sporting a sleeve on his left leg and appeared to be limited in his participation Monday. While it's possible that Meyers' name appears on the Patriots' Week 1 injury report, the wideout's presence on the field suggests that his regular season availability is in no danger. Looking ahead, Meyers is slated to maintain a key role in a New England wide receiver corps that also includes newcomer DeVante Parker, as well as returnees Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor.
Aug 26, 2022
One catch in preseason loss
Meyers brought in his lone target for five yards in the Patriots' 23-6 preseason loss to the Raiders on Friday night.
ANALYSIS
Meyers' only target came on the Patriots' second drive, and Zack Cox of NESN reports the receiver spent some time in the blue medical tent midway through the first half with an issue that was never identified. Phil Perry of NBCS Boston subsequently noted Meyers was seen riding the stationary bike on the sideline while other members of the first-team offense were still on the field, but whatever he was dealing with isn't likely to endanger his availability for the Week 1 AFC East clash against the Dolphins.
Aug 25, 2022
Looking good in training camp
Meyers has been having a strong training camp, according to Zack Cox of NESN.com.
ANALYSIS
With that in mind, Meyers, who recorded a team-high 83 catches (on 126 targets) for 866 yards and a pair of touchdowns in 17 games in 2021, is poised to maintain a key early-season role in a New England wide receiver corps that also includes newcomer DeVante Parker, as well as returnees Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor. The Patriots also roster a pair of capable pass-catching tight ends in Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith, but even in the context of QB Mac Jones having multiple target options available, Meyers figures to log steady enough snaps and looks in his team's offense to make a fantasy mark in 2022, particularly in PPR-friendly formats.
Aug 19, 2022
Quiet night against Panthers
Meyers caught one of three targets for four yards in Friday's preseason game against the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
He hauled in his lone catch on the Patriots' third possession of the game, hooking up with Mac Jones to help kick-start an 81-yard touchdown drive. Meyers is coming off a strong 2021 campaign and has already established a rapport with the team's second-year QB, but he heads into Week 1 behind trade acquisition DeVante Parker on the depth chart in what is expected to be a run-oriented offense, so Meyers could have trouble seeing the same kind of target volume he did last year. Per Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald, coach Bill Belichick indicated after the game all his healthy starters would be available for New England's preseason finale next week against the Raiders, so Meyers will get one last tuneup opportunity before the regular season begins.
Jul 27, 2022
Participating in training camp
Meyers -- who had been limited some during the Patriots' offseason activities due to "bumps and bruises" -- participated in Wednesday's training camp practice, Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers finished the 2021 season with a team-high 83 catches (on 126 targets) for 866 yards and a pair of TDs in 17 games. This coming season, he's slated to remain a key cog in a New England wide receiver corps that also will feature newcomer DeVante Parker, fellow returnees Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor and speedy rookie second-rounder Tyquan Thornton. Even when all of the team's options at the position are on hand, Meyers should continue to see a decent share of target volume from second-year QB Mac Jones. In that context, the 25-year-old is capable of continuing to yield decent fantasy production in PPR-friendly leagues, though Meyers' history of infrequent trips to the end zone caps his upside in TD-heavy formats.
Jun 13, 2022
Signs second-round tender
Meyers (undisclosed) officially signed his second-round tender from the Patriots on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers has been limited during offseason activities due to "bumps and bruises," but he's expected to be fine by the start of training camp. The undrafted wideout led New England in receiving yards last year, but he'll have competition for targets after the Patriots traded for DeVante Parker this offseason. After signing the tender, Meyers is set to make $3.986 million next season, but the two sides are expected to resume extension talks following the conclusion of minicamp.
Jun 9, 2022
No serious injury
Meyers (undisclosed) said Thursday that his minicamp participation has been limited by "pretty much normal bumps and bruises," Mark Daniels of the Providence Journal reports.
ANALYSIS
With no serious injury to report, Meyers should be fine for training camp at the end of July. He'll have more competition for targets this year after the Patriots traded for WR DeVante Parker, but the impact of any lost volume could be offset by improved efficiency, especially if QB Mac Jones takes a big step forward in his second NFL season. Meyers seems to expect as much, responding "Capital YES," when reporters asked him Thursday if he sees Jones taking ownership of the New England offense, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com. "We're all trying to catch up to what's in his mind, his vision," Meyers said of the 23-year-old Jones.
Jun 8, 2022
Limited during minicamp
Meyers was limited during Wednesday's minicamp practice due to an undisclosed injury, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was one of a handful of offensive weapons who were limited, but the severity of their injuries remains unknown. The undrafted wideout out of NC State led New England with 83 receptions, 126 targets and 866 yards last season, so the Patriots will likely be extremely cautious with Mac Jones' favorite target.
Mar 13, 2022
Receives second-round tender
The Patriots will utilize a second-round contract tender on Meyers as a restricted free agent Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers led New England's pass catchers in receptions (83), targets (126) and receiving yards (866) to go along with two touchdowns last season, so it's not a major surprise to see the team using the second-round tender. The Patriots will be able to match any offer sheet issued by another team, or they can decline to match and receive a second-round pick.
Jan 24, 2022
Leads team with 83 catches
Meyers finished the 2021 regular season with a team-high 83 catches on 126 targets for 866 yards and a pair of touchdowns in 17 games.
ANALYSIS
Per Paul Perillo of the Patriots' official site, Meyers is a pending restricted free agent this offseason, but we'd expect the team to find a way to retain the 25-year-old in 2022. With that in mind, Perillo suggests that a second-round tender would probably facilitate such an outcome. If that happens, Meyers will remain a key cog in a WR corps that will also feature Kendrick Bourne (signed through 2023) and Nelson Agholor (signed through 2022). Beyond that trio, it remains to be seen how the rest of the depth chart will look next season, but it wouldn't surprise us to see New England look to add a playmaking wideout in the coming months, be it via trade, free agency or the draft.
Jan 16, 2022
Racks up six receptions
Meyers recorded six receptions on nine targets for 40 yards in Saturday's 47-17 wild-card round loss to Buffalo.
ANALYSIS
Meyers led the team with nine targets, though he was out-produced by Kendrick Bourne. The majority of Meyers' work came with the game well out of reach, though he did tally a 19-yard reception to setup a field goal for New England just before halftime. He was otherwise limited to short gains. Meyers will enter the offseason as a restricted free agent, though after commanding 126 targets and tallying 83 receptions in 2021, it's likely that the Patriots will look to retain him for 2022 and beyond.
Jan 15, 2022
Playing in wild-card round
Meyers (thigh) is listed as active for Saturday night's game against the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was limited at practice this past week as he continues to manage a thigh issue he played through in Weeks 17 and 18. Assuming no in-game setbacks, he'll continue to head the Patriots' wideout corps Saturday along with Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne. Over the course of 17 regular-season outings, Meyers led the team with 83 catches (on 126 targets) for 866 yards and a pair of TDs, a rate of production on the part of the 25-year-old that yielded fantasy relevance in PPR formats.
Jan 13, 2022
Questionable for playoff opener
Meyers (thigh) is listed as questionable for Saturday night's playoff game against the Bills after practicing in a limited fashion once again Thursday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers is one of 13 players listed as questionable for the contest by the Patriots, but we'd be surprised if he wasn't available for the team's playoff opener. To be sure, his status should be verified ahead of Saturday night's 8:15 ET kickoff, but the wideout was on the field for 52 of a possible 62 snaps on offense in Week 18 en route to catching four of his eight targets for 70 yards in a loss to the Dolphins. With no reported setbacks, we suspect that his listed practice limitations this week were maintenance-related.
Jan 11, 2022
Still dealing with thigh injury
Meyers (thigh) was listed as limited on Tuesday's estimated injury report.
ANALYSIS
Meyers is operating under the same practice regimen for a third straight week, the result of a hamstring issue. In the final two games of the regular season, he still logged at least 77 percent of the offensive snaps on both occasions, reeling in 12 of 16 targets for 143 yards and one touchdown. Even if his reps continue to be managed Wednesday and Thursday and he enters the weekend as questionable, Meyers doesn't appear to be in danger of sitting out Saturday's wild-card contest in Buffalo.
Jan 10, 2022
Four catches in Sunday's loss
Meyers caught four of eight targets for 70 yards in Sunday's 33-24 loss to the Dolphins.
ANALYSIS
It was the fifth time this season Meyers has hauled in at least 70 yards in a game, but the only scoring plays he was involved in went the other way -- he was Mac Jones' intended target on a pick-six in the first quarter, and the third-year wideout was then charged with a fumble on the final play of the game as he tried to pitch it to a teammate, resulting in a Miami recovery in the end zone for a second defensive TD. Meyers wraps up a career-best regular season with 87 catches on 130 targets for 936 yards and two touchdowns, and he'll look to atone for Sunday's mistakes in the wild-card round against the Bills.
Jan 9, 2022
Active for Sunday's game
Meyers (thigh) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who practiced in a limited fashion this past week, will give it a go Sunday and should head the Patriots' Week 18 wideout corps along with Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne. Heading into the team's regular-season finale, Meyers has complied a 79-796-2 stat line on 118 targets through 16 games to date, production that makes him worthy of fantasy lineup consideration, especially in PPR formats.
Jan 7, 2022
Questionable for Sunday
Meyers (thigh) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins after practicing in a limited fashion this past week.
ANALYSIS
Given the 'questionable' designation, Meyers' status is worth verifying ahead of Sunday's 4:25 ET kickoff, however we'd be surprised it wasn't out there Sunday alongside fellow wideouts Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne. Assuming he's active, Meyers, who has logged a 79/796/2 stat line on 118 targets through 16 games, merits Week 18 fantasy consideration, notably in PPR formats.
Jan 6, 2022
Another limited session
Meyers (thigh) remained limited at practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
So far there's nothing to suggest that Meyers' availability for Sunday's game against the Dolphins is in danger, but it still seems likely that the wideout will head into the weekend with an official 'questionable' Week 18 injury designation.
Jan 5, 2022
Logs limited practice
Meyers (thigh) was limited at practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was listed as questionable for this past Sunday's win over the Jaguars after being limited by the thigh issue at practice last week, but ended up logging 56 of a possible 72 snaps in the contest en route to catching all eight of his targets for 73 yards and a touchdown. With no reported setbacks, we suspect that the wideout's Wednesday limitations were maintenance-related.
Jan 2, 2022
Leads team in receptions
Meyers (thigh) brought in all eight targets for 73 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' 50-10 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers paced the Patriots in receptions while checking in just behind Kendrick Bourne in receiving yardage. The third-year pro posted his best catch total since Week 4 while taking advantage of the absences of both Nelson Agholor (concussion) and N'Keal Harry (hip), and his four-yard scoring grab just before halftime was only his second touchdown of the campaign. Meyers will have one final regular-season tune-up for the playoffs when he tangles with the Dolphins second in Week 18.
Jan 2, 2022
Active for Sunday's game
Meyers (thigh) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
ANALYSIS
With Nelson Agholor (concussion) having previously been ruled out for the contest and and N'Keal Harry inactive, Meyers should be in line to head the Patriots' Week 17 wideout corps along with Kendrick Bourne, with Gunner Olszewski and Kristian Wilkerson candidates to mix in as well. Meyers has carved out a degree of utility in PPR formats this season by logging a 71-723-1 receiving line (on 110 targets) over the course of 15 games.
Dec 31, 2021
Listed as questionable
Meyers (thigh) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was able to practice in a limited fashion this past week, so we suspect he has a solid shot to suit up for Sunday's 1:00 ET contest. With Nelson Agholor (concussion) ruled out, Meyers -- if active -- would be in line to head the Patriots' Week 17 wideout corps along with Kendrick Bourne and N'Keal Harry. Through 15 games to date, Meyers has made a mark in PPR formats by logging a 71/723/1 stat line on 110 targets.
Dec 31, 2021
Stays limited in practice
Meyers (thigh) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Meyers has typically avoided New England injury reports this season, but he's tending to a thigh issue in the aftermath of the Patriots' Week 16 loss to the Bills. Fortunately for the third-year wideout he's at least been able to practice in some capacity for the Patriots' first two sessions of the week, a sign that he'll likely be ready to play Sunday against the Jaguars.
Dec 29, 2021
Limited by thigh issue
Meyers (thigh) was listed as a limited practice participant Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Meyers is a newcomer to the Patriots' injury report, so his status is worth tracking in advance of Sunday's game against the Jaguars. In this past weekend's loss to the Bills, the wideout logged 48 of a possible 64 snaps on offense, en route to catching six of his eight targets for 59 yards.
Dec 26, 2021
Six catches in Week 16 loss
Meyers caught six of eight targets for 59 yards in Sunday's 33-21 loss to Buffalo.
ANALYSIS
Meyers led the Patriots in targets, catches and receiving yards as Mac Jones mustered just 145 passing yards. Jones went the entire month of December without throwing a touchdown to a wide receiver, but Meyers continues to play a prominent role in the Patriots' passing game despite having just one touchdown catch in his three seasons with the team. A Week 17 visit from the lowly Jaguars offers a nice opportunity for Meyers to make another rare visit to the end zone.
Dec 19, 2021
Six grabs in Saturday's loss
Meyers caught six of 12 targets for 44 yards in Saturday's 27-17 loss to the Colts.
ANALYSIS
He tied Hunter Henry for the team lead in catches while leading all receivers on the night in targets as the Patriots played catch-up in the second half, but the volume didn't result in much production for Meyers. It's the third time this season he's seen double-digit passes thrown his way, but game script might not be in his favor in Week 16 against the Bills, even if the weather is a little less harsh than it was in their first meeting this season.
Dec 7, 2021
Not targeted Monday
Meyers was not targeted in Monday night's 14-10 win over the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Meyers was not alone among target-less Patriots, as the team threw the ball merely three times amid extremely windy conditions. With both completions going to non-wideouts, it was an unusual outing for New England's receiving corps, yet still effective enough to win. Meyers and company will now embark on their bye week before returning the play the Colts in Week 15.
Nov 28, 2021
Just under 100 yards in win
Meyers caught five of eight targets for 98 yards in Sunday's 36-13 win over the Titans.
ANALYSIS
Meyers set a new season high in receiving yards, topping his Week 3 output against the Saints by four. He still has only one career touchdown, but the 25-year-old wide receiver has carved out a consistent role in New England's offense, catching at least four passes in all but one game this season.
Nov 19, 2021
Catches four passes Thursday
Meyers logged 56 of a possible 64 snaps in Thursday's 25-0 win over the Falcons, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who out-snapped fellow wideouts Nelson Agholor (49), Kendrick Bourne (29) and N'Keal Harry (26) in the contest, wound up with four catches on a team-high six targets for 39 yards. While he's only scored one TD (in Week 10) all season, Meyers' steady workload makes him worthy of lineup consideration in PPR formats.
Nov 14, 2021
Scores at long last
Meyers caught four passes for 49 yards and one touchdown on four targets against Cleveland on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
On his 135th NFL reception Meyers finally found the end zone, albeit from Brian Hoyer in garbage time rather than starter Mac Jones. Hopefully it's not such a long wait for touchdown number two -- indeed, with Meyers' target volume he's a good bet to find the end zone a few more times before the season is over, and that's particularly true if Jones can build on his three-touchdown showing against the Browns. Meyers projects well against the Falcons on Thursday.
Nov 7, 2021
Just one catch in win
Meyers had one reception (four targets) for eight yards in Sunday's 24-6 win over Carolina.
ANALYSIS
The Patriots' passing offense wasn't used much as a whole in a game that they comfortably led wire to wire. That said, Meyers has hit a bit of a rough patch in terms of efficiency, posting a poor catch rate of 39 percent over his last two contests. The 24-year-old will try and reverse his fortunes in a tough matchup against the Browns in Week 10.
Oct 31, 2021
Does little with big volume
Meyers caught four of nine targets for 37 yards in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
He tied Kendrick Bourne for the team lead in receptions and led New England in targets, but Meyers' longest grab went for only 17 yards as the Pats weren't able to produce much offense through the air. The 37 yards were a season low for the third-year receiver, but Meyers may have a tough time producing much more in Week 9 against the Panthers.
Oct 25, 2021
Catches five passes versus Jets
Meyers hauled in five of his seven targets for 44 yards in Sunday's 54-13 win over the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who logged a team-high 59 snaps on offense (out of a possible 76) among the team's wideouts, duplicated his Week 6 stat line Sunday, on one less target. Though he has yet to record a regular-season receiving TD in his NFL career, Meyers maintains PRR utility, given his steady dose of playing time and targets. Through seven games, the 24-year-old leads the Patriots in catches (41), targets (59) and receiving yards (390). In Week 8, he'll be facing a Chargers defense that has allowed an average of 201.8 passing yards per game, a less favorable matchup than the Jets were no doubt, but Meyers should continue to see his share of looks this coming weekend, regardless of game flow.
Oct 18, 2021
Catches five passes Sunday
Meyers hauled in five of his six targets for 44 yards and caught a two-point conversion in Sunday's 35-29 overtime loss to the Cowboys.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who was on the field for 34 of a possible 54 snaps on offense in the contest, is averaging six catches and 57.7 receiving yards per game, numbers that put him on the PPR radar. While the third-year wideout has yet to be credited with a regular-season TD, that almost changed Sunday before his 25-yard catch-and-run was called back due to a penalty.
Oct 4, 2021
Sees double-digit targets again
Meyers had eight receptions (12 targets) for 70 yards while also completing both of his pass attempts for 45 yards in Sunday's 19-17 loss to Tampa Bay.
ANALYSIS
Meyers turned in another solid fantasy line, leading the team in receptions and targets for the second week in a row. The 25-year-old also gave his managers a little boost on a couple of trick plays resulting in 45 passing yards. This isn't the first time Meyers has been used as a passer, as he also completed two passes on trick plays last season. The third-year man is looking like the Patriots' top receiving option heading into a soft matchup against the Texans in Week 5.
Sep 26, 2021
Amasses 14 targets in loss
Meyers hauled in nine receptions (14 targets) for 94 yards in Sunday's 28-13 loss to the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Meyers and Kendrick Bourne (six receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown) both posted big fantasy lines with the Patriots playing from behind for the entire contest. Starter Nelson Agholor struggled having to deal with shutdown corner Marshon Lattimore, which explains the uptick in usage for his fellow wideouts. While bigger receiving days like this shouldn't be expected on a weekly basis from Meyers, he could be in a line for a small bump in targets if James White (hip) is forced to miss time. Meyers could be worth a look against the Buccaneers next Sunday, as Tampa Bay has a decimated secondary and should be favored to win as well.

Catches four passes Sunday
Meyers caught four of his six targets for 38 yards Sunday's 25-6 win over the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, Meyers was on the field for 52 of a possible 58 snaps on offense in the contest, while Nelson Agholor logged 50 snaps and Kendrick Bourne was out there for 31 plays. Look for Meyers' playing time to remain steady going forward and though he operates in an offense that spreads the ball around, as the Patriots' early leader in targets (15) through two games, Meyers (who has 10 catches in that span) does posses some utility in PPR formats.

Catches six passes in opener
Meyers logged 74 of a possible 75 snaps on offense in Sunday's 17-16 loss to the Dolphins, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
In the process, Meyers hauled in six of his team-high nine targets for 44 yards. Meanwhile, Nelson Agholor was on the field for 64 snaps and caught five of his seven targets for 72 yards and a TD, while Kendrick Bourne played 33 snaps and caught one of his three targets for 17 yards. Looking ahead, Meyers' volume in the Patriots' Mac Jones-helmed passing attack will vary depending on game plans/flow, but the 24-year-old should maintain a solid weekly floor, given the steady playing time he appears destined to see.

Makes one grab
Meyers caught one of three targets for six yards in Sunday's 22-20 preseason win over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Meyers' three looks all came from Cam Newton, including one that was intercepted due to Meyers' inability to make a tightly contested grab down the seam. While it remains unclear who will be his starting quarterback for Week 1's matchup against the Dolphins, Meyers' role with New England's first-team offense should give him decent value whether Newton or rookie Mac Jones is under center.

Connects with Cam in win
Meyers brought in all three targets for 56 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' 35-0 preseason win over the Eagles on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Half of Meyers' yardage came on a 28-yard first-quarter touchdown grab in conjunction with Cam Newton. Meyers has been impressing throughout camp, and the NC State product appears set for another prominent role in the air attack again this season despite the offseason addition of Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne.

Steady effort in camp
Meyers has "picked up where he left off last year, and been the most dependable target" for the Patriots in training camp thus far, Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
While much of the offseason attention was focused on free-agent additions Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne, Meyers remains in the mix to carve out a key role in the Patriots' receiving corps in 2021. Also making a case on that front is 2019 first-rounder N'Keal Harry, but Meyers -- who led the team with 59 catches for 729 yards in 14 games last season -- is player who could provide a degree of fantasy utility this coming season if the team's passing game picks up as hoped, either due to improvements on the part of incumbent starting QB Cam Newton, or to the potential emergence of promising rookie signal caller, Mac Jones.

Likely top wideout in minicamp
Meyers appears to be the likely top wide receiver option at minicamp this week, Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Callahan notes that both Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne are still learning the playbook, which positions Meyers as the top wideout for the time being. He could continue to hold that role depending on how things go throughout camp, but he figures to face some competition once everyone has the playbook down.

In line to compete with Bourne
Meyers figures to compete with newcomer Kendrick Bourne for a starting slot this coming season, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It's assumed that free agent acquisition Nelson Agholor will hold down one starting assignment, but following the retirement of Julian Edelman, how the Patriots' depth chart shakes out beyond the top spot remains to be seen. Though it's clear that the team sees something in Bourne, Meyers did display solid chemistry with QB Cam Newton last season, while leading the team with 59 catches for 729 yards in 14 games. Meanwhile, 2018 first-rounder N'Keal Harry is also in the mix, but his role this coming season is undefined. Moreover, it's possible that the team spends an early pick on a wideout in the upcoming NFL Draft, but for now Meyers has an opportunity to carve out a key role in what should be an improved passing attack in 2021.

Team's leading receiver in Year 2
Meyers caught six of seven targets for 68 yards and threw a 19-yard touchdown in Sunday's 28-14 win over the Jets. He also rushed once for seven yards in the season finale.
ANALYSIS
Meyers spent his freshman season at NC State as a quarterback before converting to wide receiver, and he showed off his passing skills on a trick play in the third quarter, finding Cam Newton for the game-tying touchdown. He finishes the season as New England's leader in both catches (59) and receiving yards (729), but Meyers is yet to catch a touchdown through two NFL seasons. The Patriots will likely look to upgrade their underwhelming receiving corps in the offseason, but Meyers should be a part of the team's equation at wide receiver after his breakout sophomore season.

Makes four grabs
Meyers caught four of six targets for 45 yards in Monday night's 38-9 loss to the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Meyers led the Pats in receiving on a night when the team made an in-game quarterback change from Cam Newton to Jarrett Stidham, yet neither player passed for more than Meyers' 45 yards. Given that dire situation, it's tough to rely on Meyers for production, but his status atop New England's depth chart as well as a favorable matchup against the Jets at least offers some promise ahead of Week 17.
Dec 20, 2020
Eclipses century mark
Meyers reeled in seven of 10 targets for 111 yards, losing one fumble during Sunday's 22-12 loss to Miami.
ANALYSIS
Meyers' third-quarter giveaway didn't come back to haunt New England, as the Dolphins were forced into a punt just three plays later. With that in mind, the 24-year-old's Week 15 outing will go down as one of his most impressive of the 2020 campaign, as he eclipsed the century mark in receiving for the second time this season. A Week 16 matchup against Buffalo allows Meyers to expand on a noteworthy performance. He enjoyed a solid outing of six catches for 58 yards over 10 targets during a Week 8 loss to the division rivals.
Dec 11, 2020
Serviceable night in loss
Meyers brought in four of five targets for 47 yards in the Patriots' 24-3 loss to the Rams on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
The second-year wideout managed to put together a serviceable night relative to opportunity, recording multiple receptions for the eighth straight contest. Meyers hasn't come close to matching the career-best 12 receptions and 169 yards he generated versus the Jets in Week 9, but he's posted a 19-211 line on 27 targets in the subsequent five contests, acceptable numbers considering how erratic Cam Newton's play has been under center. With Jarrett Stidham replacing Newton late in Thursday night's game, it remains to be seen if Meyers will be catching passes from a different quarterback in a Week 15 divisional battle against the Dolphins on Sunday, Dec. 20.
Dec 6, 2020
Does little with six targets
Meyers caught two of six targets for 15 yards during Sunday's 45-0 win over the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Meyers accounted for nearly a third of the team's targets but only gained positive yardage on one play as the running game and defense took center stage in the blowout. He came into the game having topped 50 yards in five of his last six and his relative lack of production in this one can mostly be attributed to the lopsided scoreline. With that said, Meyers will be hard-pressed to produce big numbers in Thursday's matchup against the talented Rams secondary.
Nov 29, 2020
Leading receiver in Week 12 win
Meyers caught five of six targets for a team-high 52 yards in Sunday's 20-17 win over Arizona.
ANALYSIS
Meyers accounted for more than half of quarterback Cam Newton's 84 passing yards, as the Patriots relied on the defense and a pair of James White rushing touchdowns to carry them to victory. While Meyers is still in search of his first career touchdown, he has eclipsed 50 receiving yards in five of his last six games heading into a Week 13 date with the Chargers.
Nov 22, 2020
Down day despite Netwon's success
Meyers caught all three of his targets for 38 yards in Sunday's 27-20 loss to Houston.
ANALYSIS
Cam Newton threw for 365 yards but didn't pay much attention to his favorite target from recent weeks. Meyers finished fifth on the team in receiving yards and tied for fourth in targets, while Damiere Byrd paced the team with 132 receiving yards and a touchdown. Meyers will likely draw the attention of top Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson in Week 12, which will make the No. 1 receiver in New England's inconsistent at best passing attack a risky option coming off this disappointing outing.
Nov 16, 2020
Clearly Newton's top option
Meyers caught five of seven targets for 59 yards while also throwing a 24-yard touchdown on his lone passing attempt in Sunday's 23-17 win over Baltimore.
ANALYSIS
Meyers scored his first NFL touchdown in the 22nd game of his professional career, but it did not come the way most would have thought it would. The former high school quarterback received a backwards pass from Cam Newton before planting his feet and throwing a Russell Wilson-esque rainbow that fell into Rex Burkhead's bread basket in the end zone. The trick play was a treat to witness, but the important news for fantasy owners was that Meyers continued to pace all Patriot receivers in targets, catches and receptions for the fourth week in a row. In fact, the 24-year-old was the only wide receiver to be targeted by Cam Newton the entire evening. Meyers is averaging 6.8 receptions and 86.5 yards in the four games since becoming a starter, which should make him relevant in almost any format, especially if he can start to find the end zone as a receiver. He will look to do just that in a favorable matchup against the Texans on Sunday.
Nov 10, 2020
Career-best performance in win
Meyers caught 12 of 14 targets for 169 yards in Monday night's 30-27 win over the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Meyers put together by far the best showing of his young career, accounting for the majority of quarterback Cam Newton's 274 total passing yards. In fact, Meyers was also targeted on 40 percent of Newton's 35 attempts, and caught nearly everything thrown his way. Although he went for a 33-yard gain earlier, Meyers' most important play came on a 20-yard reception to put New England in field-goal range with three seconds remaining. Of course, the Pats would convert that ensuing field goal, clinching victory as time expired. Following such a great performance, Meyers' stock is undoubtedly on the rise in advance of Week 10, but a tough matchup against the Ravens represents a stark contrast from facing the still-winless Jets.
Nov 1, 2020
Leading receiver in Week 8 loss
Meyers caught six of 10 targets for 58 yards and added a two-point conversion in Sunday's 24-21 loss to the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Meyers has emerged as the favorite target for struggling quarterback Cam Newton with Julian Edelman (knee) and N'Keal Harry (concussion) both unavailable, leading the team in targets, catches and receiving yards. None of Meyers' gains went for more than 16 yards, but he caught a key two-point conversion to tie the score in the third quarter. Meyers should continue to play a prominent role on his 24th birthday against the porous Jets secondary in Week 9.
Oct 29, 2020
Extended snaps await Week 8
Meyers is expected to pick up extra snaps Sunday against the Bills with Julian Edelman (knee) set to miss the contest, Dave Green of NBC Sports Boston reports.
ANALYSIS
The Patriots' No. 4 receiver heading into last week's game against the 49ers, Meyers was thrust into a larger role after starter N'Keal Harry left the contest early with a concussion. Meyers proceeded to play 79 percent of the offensive snaps in the 33-6 loss, finishing the day with four receptions for 60 yards on six targets. With Edelman being ruled out, Meyers should hold down a regular spot in three-wide sets for the second straight game, and the North Carolina State product could have an even clearer path to steady targets if Harry -- who has missed the Patriots' first two practices of Week 8 -- is also sidelined. Along with Meyers, Damiere Byrd and Gunner Olszewski should take on expanded roles in New England's passing attack.
Oct 25, 2020
Leads team in receiving yards
Meyers caught four of six targets for 60 yards and carried one time for two yards during Sunday's 33-6 loss to the 49ers.
ANALYSIS
Meyers hadn't seen action in over a month coming in, but he found a way to lead the team in all major receiving categories despite Cam Newton finishing with under 100 passing yards on the day. Newton was ultimately benched in favor of Jarrett Stidham after his third turnover, though Meyers managed to snare a pass from him as well. Given the team's struggles under center and Meyers' inactivity for much of the season, he won't take a great deal of fantasy appeal into next Sunday's meeting with the Bills.
Sep 14, 2020
Sees just seven snaps in Week 1
Meyers was on the field for seven of a possible 64 snaps on offense in Sunday's 21-11 win over the Dolphins, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers, who was not targeted in Week 1, has limited fantasy value so long as he remains behind Julian Edelman, N'Keal Harry and Damiere Byrd in New England's wide receiver pecking order.
Jan 10, 2020
Catches 26 passes as a rookie
Meyers finished the 2019 regular season with 26 catches (on 41 targets) for 359 yards in 15 games.
ANALYSIS
Meyers stuck around after making the team as an undrafted rookie and even managed to log a few PPR-worthy efforts in the process. The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder probably did enough to make the team again in 2020, but it's possible he'll have to fight to keep his slot in New England's wide receiver corps, depending on the team's offseason moves.
