Broncos Have Depth At Quarterback
The Broncos don’t have the most exciting quarterback room. But from a preseason outlook, it looks really good.
Jarrett Stidham has been listed as the No. 1 quarterback heading into preseason Week 1. That means we will see lots of Zach Wilson and Bo Nix in this first preseason game.
Wilson has plenty of experience and legitimate talent, which the Broncos hope to exploit. Meanwhile, Bo Nix was drafted to potentially become the quarterback of the future. While he hasn’t played an NFL game, Nix played many years of college football and was the quarterback in several massive games later on.
Trust Sam Ehlinger?
The Colts have Anthony Richardson listed as the starter and Joe Flacco as the backup.
There’s no need for the Colts to play Flacco in preseason, and Richardson won’t see much time, if any. Therefore, Sam Ehlinger will likely be the lead quarterback. He’ll play most snaps. Maybe the Colts will give Keldon Slovis an opportunity.
In the second half, when the Colts have Slovis at quarterback and the Broncos have Nix, who would you rather?
