With another loss at home against the Celtics, the Cavaliers would head back to Boston down 3-1 in the series. It would be incredibly difficult to come back from that deficit, with two of the remaining three games being played in Boston.
Therefore, look for the Cavaliers to do whatever they can to keep this game against the Celtics close. They might not win the game outright, but if they keep it close, a cover against the spread would be possible.
The Celtics Still Don’t Look Right
We can get excited about Boston’s 106-93 win against the Cavaliers. However, the offense still hasn’t impressed the way the Celtics typically do. The Celtics shot a 59.4% effective field goal percentage. That was good. However, they rarely got to the foul line and only added 25.6% of offensive rebounds.
That’s nothing to get pumped about for Celtics fans, and a couple of reasons why the Cavaliers can stick around.
