On Saturday, we have three college football picks Week 15, as the race to CFP glory culminates with the conference championships. Over the past two weeks, we have been hitting our stride, going 5-1 against the spread.
This week’s best college football picks include three games, all with ranked opponents taking one last bite at the CFP apple and looking to become conference champions. We kick off Champ Week with a battle between Big 12 powerhouses BYU and Texas Tech.
After that, we move on to a midafternoon SEC conference clash between archrivals Georgia and Alabama. This is a rematch of the regular-season game in which the Tide stunned the Dawgs, 24-21, earlier in the year.
We have saved the best for last, as the top two teams in the nation, Indiana and Ohio State, prepare to meet at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts.
NCAAF Picks Week 15 At-A-Glance
We have shopped for the sharpest odds at the best US-licensed online sportsbooks right here at OddsTrader and have done our research to reveal our college football picks for Week 15.
This week, our best college football picks for Week 15 include BYU, Alabama, and Indiana.
Let’s start with the Big 12 showdown between BYU and Texas Tech as we determine the best value for the first of our conference championship week picks.
BYU Cougars vs. Texas Tech Red Raiders (-12½)
Saturday, December 6, 2025 – 12:00 PM ET
BYU has had an outstanding 2025 season, and on Saturday, they will atone for their only blemish, a 29-7 loss to their conference championship opponents—Texas Tech. It will be interesting to see how the Cougars respond, but based on their last game, a 41-21 decimation of UCF in which they covered the 17½ point impost, BYU should be able to hang and bang within the generous margins we are getting from Caesars.
Meanwhile, it should be noted that Texas Tech has won and covered their last five games, including a 49-0 thrashing over West Virginia last week, easily covering as 24-point road chalk. The Red Raiders need to be prepared because BYU is not easily rattled. The Cougars have won and covered six of their last seven, with the only loss and failed cover being against their conference championship opponents.
The most discernible difference between these teams is that the Raiders come equipped with the best run-stop unit in the nation, allowing just over 68 yards per game. However, BYU will likely rip a page out of Arizona State’s playbook when they became the only team to defeat T-Tech back on October 18th by the score of 28-22. The Sun Devils eschewed their running attack and instead aired it out early and often.
BYU freshman quarterback Bear Bachmeier can do just that as long as his offensive coordinator allows it. I am sure OC Aaron Roderick has already prepped Bachmeier for an aerial assault because they have nothing to lose.
The line is too steep, so let’s take advantage and bet the underdog in this one.
Expert Pick: BYU +12½ (-114) at Caesars
Georgia Bulldogs vs. Alabama Crimson Tide (+1 ½)
Saturday, December 6, 2025 – 4:00 PM ET
This classic SEC showdown would normally be Saturday’s marquee matchup, but it is hard to trump the long-awaited Big Ten showdown between upstart Indiana and the defending national champion Ohio State Buckeyes.
Nevertheless, this game should get your motor running, and the Tide is hoping it unfolds much like their previous game did when Alabama claimed a 24-21 win in hostile territory as 2½ point road dogs. Georgia didn’t look sharp in their win against Georgia Tech last week and failed to cover as 15½ point road favorites in a defensive battle in which the Dawgs secured a 16-9 victory.
Meanwhile, the Crimson Tide had a few struggles of their own against Auburn in the annual Iron Bowl but still came out on top, 27-20, and rewarded their backers who bet on them as 6-point road favorites.
This game will hinge on passing. Georgia has a middling aerial attack, ranked 68th, versus Bama’s 9th-ranked pass defense. Conversely, Alabama boasts the 18th-ranked passing attack and should be able to exploit Georgia’s 50th-ranked pass defense.
I will say this for the third week in a row. The oddsmakers have the wrong favorite in this contest, so watch Bama cruise to a conference crown on Saturday.
Expert Pick: Alabama +1½ (-108) at Caesars
Indiana Hoosiers vs. Ohio State Buckeyes (-6)
Saturday, December 6, 2025 – 8:00 PM ET
All the squares will be buying into the hype machine and betting the Buckeyes like they’re reading Sunday morning’s newspapers. The Buckeyes may be listed as the home team, but this game, like most other conference clashes, is being held at a neutral field. And in this case, the venue is the home of the Indianapolis Colts, which makes this more of a home game for the Hoosiers than the Buckeyes.
Many online sportsbooks are offering the Hoosiers as 5½ point underdogs, but Caesars is dealing Indiana as a 6-point underdog, which we are happy to take. In case you didn’t know it, the Hoosiers, like the Buckeyes, are undefeated and have a 7-5 ATS mark, which I thought would be better based on their Cinderella season.
Nevertheless, they have been Ohio State’s punching bag for more than a decade now, but this year, they have the tools to make this a close contest. Everything the Buckeyes can do on offense, the Hoosiers can do better on defense, sporting the No. 5 defense in total yards, No. 2 in rushing yards allowed, No. 18 in passing yards allowed, and No. 2 in points allowed. Oh, and the Hoosiers also have the highest-scoring offense in the nation, averaging 44.3 points per game.
Grab the +6 and thank me later.
Expert Pick: Indiana +6 (-110) at BetMGM
