The new year hasn’t been kind to Bournemouth, who’s now winless since Boxing Day 2023, and even with lower clashes against fellow bottom-half sides like Nottingham Forest and Fulham, they were unable to claim maximum points and are now just eight points adrift of the dreaded relegation zone.
With three losses and three draws from their last six outings, including 3-1 and 0-4 losses to Liverpool and Bournemouth, don’t expect much from the home side when Manchester City comes knocking because it’ll only end in disappointment should you decide to back a team that’s lost 14 consecutive meetings with the Citizens in domestic action.
Manchester City
Last weekend’s 1-0 win over Brentford was a conservative result for Manchester City, as the blue side of Manchester is usually seen dishing out lopsided drubbings to the opposition. I wouldn’t, however, let this concern for Saturday’s meeting, as Bournemouth have been a breeze for City in the past, allowing 16 goals in their past top-flight meetings with titleholders in their previous four games alone!
As the highest-scoring team in the EPL meets the fourth-worst defensive record in the division this weekend, the result is all but confirmed. Unfortunately, this is represented by the bookmaker’s odds, and we’ll have to think outside of the box to find value in Pep Guardiola and his masterful strike force.
EPL Matchday 26 Prediction, Odds, & Trends
The EPL odds aren’t leaving much to the imagination, but despite what should be a routine victory for Guardiola and co, don’t expect him to go easy when looking for additional points that could prove crucial in May.
It’ll be a simple victory for Manchester City this weekend, and because a two, three, or even four-goal differential could surface in the scoreline, backing a -1 handicap at plus money presents unmissable betting value.

Since the end of January, we’ve watched Juventus surrender the Serie A title chase to Inter Milan with four straight winless domestic outings. Two draws and two losses have now put AC Milan within two points of Juve’s second-place positioning, as victory this weekend has now become vital.
With that said, a struggling Frosinone squad is the perfect bounce-back opponent for Massimiliano Allegri, a team he’s all too familiar with following a 4-0 cup triumph in early January.
Frosinone
Relegation for Frosinone is becoming a real threat after losing 7 of their last 9 Serie A games and three consecutively with an aggregate of 11-3 heading into a tough encounter this weekend.
With 52 goals conceded and just three points from the drop zone, this squad boasts the worst defensive record in Italy and is currently riding the worst stretch of form in over a year.
Serie A Matchday 26 Prediction, Odds, & Trends
The Serie A odds, of course, aren’t giving us much leeway on Juventus’ moneyline, and rightfully so. The Turin giants have never lost a game to Frosinone and, in fact, have won all but one encounter with the basement-dwelling squad.
Much like our Manchester City play, backing the -1 handicap seems like a safe play in this situation, and despite Juve’s troubles of late, finding the net against Frosinone has been a simple task for the weakest of teams this term. We expect the home side to return to winning ways by at least two goals or more.
