Real Madrid sits atop the La Liga standings with four wins from four. Still, a narrow 2-1 success over Getafe at the Bernabeu before the international break wasn’t exactly the domineering result most critics expected.
To date, Madrid has received a relatively simple strength of schedule, but 1-goal margins versus Celta de Vigo and Getafe aren’t good enough performances to scare the division’s upper echelon.
Of course, a win is a win, but an undefeated Real Sociedad won’t roll over this weekend, as Carlo Ancelotti will need his squad to be laser-focused to maintain a 100% record in La Liga this term.

Taking a 5-1 second-half lead over Granada on matchday four was Real Sociedad’s coming out party of the season. They’d previously drawn three consecutive games and struggled to find confidence, but with an unblemished La Liga record and six points in the bag, they can head to Madrid with their heads held high.
