We are almost at the midpoint of the season, and the race for the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award has been heating up with some rookies starting to find their feet with their respective teams.
Sports bettors have plenty of options to choose from at this stage of the season, but three players have been sticking out to us with some exceptional performances thus far.
Since the start of the season, these three players have surged to the top of the odds boards while others have seen their chances dwindle. That said, there’s still a long way to go until February, and the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds will fluctuate between now and then.
2025-26 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Players to Watch
These three players have come to the forefront of the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award, and all three have well surpassed their starting odds.
| Player | Team | Best Odds | Opener |
|---|---|---|---|
| Emeka Egbuka | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | +350 | +4000 |
| Tyler Warren | Indianapolis Colts | +650 | +3500 |
| Jaxson Dart | New York Giants | +150 | +4000 |
Check out why we believe these three rookies are the best value and whether or not to place your bet at the current odds or to hold out for a potential increase.
Indianapolis Colts’ Tyler Warren (+650)
We are loving how much of a surprise Tyler Warren has been this season for the Indianapolis Colts. The tight end was the 14th overall pick and has thus far had 2 touchdowns and 370 receiving yards in six games.
Warren has been Daniel Jones’ go-to in the endzone in the previous weeks, with Warren having back-to-back touchdown games. The Colts have gone 5-1 this season, and if they continue winning, Warren will continue producing.
Prior to Week 6, Warren’s odds were +1200, but he has since risen to +650. If you’re considering a bet, now is a good time to lock in these odds, as his value is likely to drop further in the coming weeks.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Emeka Egbuka (+350)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have gone 5-1 this season, and rookie wide receiver Emeka Egbuka has surged as the team’s number one receiver, with 469 yards and 42 receptions. For comparison, the 49ers’ second-most-targeted receiver has seen 27 targets and only 242 receiving yards. Egbuka has five touchdowns, while the next-highest total on his team is two.
The one problem currently for Egbuka is that he went off injured last week, and we are unsure how long he will be sidelined for. Before his injury, his odds to win Offensive Rookie of the Year were +200, but they’ve risen to +350.
Recent reports suggest he is questionable and out for between 2-5 weeks. With this in mind, we would hold out on the current +350 odds, as his odds are likely to climb to at least +700 sooner or later.
Jaxson Dart (+100)
Jaxson Dart has emerged as the heavy favorite to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award after downing the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6. He has gone 2-1 this season with wins over the Eagles and Chargers, and last week, he threw for 195 yards and 2 touchdowns in the game, one pass and one quarterback rush, as well as running for 58 yards.
Dart’s odds have gone from +650 before the Philadelphia game to +100. While he is clearly on the rise, it may be wise to hold off on betting him for a few weeks, as we expect his odds to hit the +550 range soon.
Road Ahead in the Offensive Rookie of the Year Chase
The NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award is still a long way off, but Jackson Dart, Emeke Egbuka, and Tyler Warren seem to have separated themselves from the pack at this early part of the season.
With plenty of important primetime games and divisional matchups ahead, these players will have plenty of opportunities to prove they are the best rookie in 2026.
