In the MLB, sometimes Mondays are underwhelming. But that’s not the case today. There are 12 games on the slate with so many exciting matchups. So we asked our computers for some help to decide on the best three bets. Here’s one of three bets you’ll want to consider for tonight, with the best MLB odds from the top sportsbooks.
The AI Model believes the Kansas City Royals will add a 5-3.6 victory over the Chicago White Sox. That’s certainly not hard to believe since the Royals are 27-81 on the season. Kansas City is on the road, but they’re still -180 favorites. That’ll be the play for this game.

MLB Pick: Royals (-180) at Bet365
Kansas City Royals vs. Chicago White Sox
Monday, July 29, 2024 – 08:10 PM ET at Guaranteed Rate Field
The White Sox Are Terrible
The Chicago White Sox have collectively hit a .119 ISO and wOBA of .249 against righties over the last month. The projected lineup has also struck out 28.5% of the time against righties and has walked only 5.7%.
That won’t get the job done against any major league pitcher, including Alec Marsh.
Flexing on Flexen
The Royals will face Chris Flexen of the White Sox. Flexen has been bad against lefties all year. But now he’s finally starting to struggle against righties, allowing a .233 ISO and wOBA of .402 to his last 49 righties.
This leaves tons of advantages for the Royals, including Bobby Witt Jr., who has hit a .338 ISO and wOBA of .542 as a right-handed batter against righties over the last month.
MLB Computer Pick
The White Sox are one of the league’s worst teams over the last decade. Back the Royals at -180.
