All of those hitters have had success against lefties over the last 30 days and should continue that success with good approaches against Rgans tonight.
Nothing To Worry About For Carlos Rodon
The Yankees will send out their lefty in Carlos Rodon. Rodon has struggled a bit more against righties over the last month. However, he’s in line to face a Royals lineup that has combined to hit a .045 ISO and wOBA of .294 with 22.1% of strikeouts.
Rodon still has an above-average strikeout rate and has limited walks to below 8% this season. He’s also added nearly 31% of whiffs against righties and has earned more than 15% of swinging strikes in the last month against righties. He’ll likely face a lineup of eight righties in the Royals lineup. Those Royals haven’t been able to find much power against lefties.
