Manchester United’s midweek trip to Bayern Munich resulted in the club’s third consecutive defeat, but a weekend EPL meeting with Burnley presents the perfect bounce-back opportunity.

With just one clean sheet and 14 goals conceded in all competitions this term, Erik ten Hag’s troops aren’t showing much hope as an EPL or UCL trophy challenger. However, they have had a difficult schedule to contend with, and a meeting against a lackluster Burnley side could allow this fierce attack force to pounce.

An Outsider with a Huge Price

Competing on the road is a daunting task for the best of them, but Burnley is winless in domestic competition this term, including three consecutive home defeats. They currently occupy the 19th position in the EPL table, as huge concerns arise for Vincent Kompany’s men.

Defensive woes have been apparent, but the Red Devils haven’t struggled to find the net. And now, they’ll face Burnley, who’s conceded 11 goals in three EPL home games this season.

With Burnley having allowed three or more goals in all three of their home outings this term, we could find multiple United frontrunners on the score sheet.

This includes Casemiro, the man who scored two goals at the Allianz in midweek UCL action and against Forest earlier this season. At close to 7/1, it’s hard to ignore this price versus a team that could ship three or four on Saturday.
