Week 11 NCAA College Football Last Call Value Picks: Pittsburgh-Syracuse Will Deliver Points

Our AI Model has given us three more bets as we approach Week 11 of the college football season.

Picks Summary

Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. Kansas Jayhawks

Saturday, November 11, 2023 – 12:00 PM ET at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium

Our AI Model believes Kansas and Texas Tech will combine for 73 points. With the total sitting at 61, taking the Over is a no-brainer bet.

Texas Tech simply doesn’t have an effective passing game. Behren Morton has thrown for 978 yards with ten touchdowns and two interceptions. But it’s really the run game that has done most of the damage.

Tahj Brooks has rushed for over 1,000 yards with seven touchdowns on 5.4 yards per carry. He’s been terrific.

But so has the Kansas run defense. It’s not easy moving the ball against Kansas. Sure, the Jayhawks have missed some tackles, but the coverage down the field and the run defense have been above average in college football this season.

Kansas’ QB Situation

Meanwhile, Kansas’ starting quarterback, Jalon Daniels, suffered a setback. But the Jayhawks’ backup, Jason Bean, has been fine for Kansas this season. The Jayhawks are 7-2 on the year, and Bean has ten touchdowns thrown with four interceptions.

He’s also a capable runner, but the real running back is Devin Neal, who has averaged 6.1 yards per game with nine touchdowns on 136 carries this season.

Texas Tech has converted on most tackles. But up front, they’re not as physical and strong as Kansas. That will hurt them down the line.

Let’s take Kansas -4 at -110 betting odds.

NCAAF Pick: Kansas -4 (-110) at BetRivers (check our BetRivers Review)

Appalachian State Mountaineers vs. Georgia State Panthers

Saturday, November 11, 2023 – 02:00 PM ET at Center Parc Stadium

Our AI Model believes Georgia State will earn a 38-28 win at home. With Georgia State at -2 against the spread, taking Georgia State against the spread is the play.

While Georgia State is already bowl-eligible, Appalachian State needs one more win to earn their playoff game.

Georgia State is dominant against the run, while Appalachian State is dominant against the pass. However, Georgia State is better at running the football, while Appalachian State relies more heavily on its run game too.

The Home Advantage

Georgia State has the advantage at home. They’ve got Marcus Carroll, a senior rusher, who has earned 1,093 yards with 12 touchdowns. Carroll has averaged 5.2 yards per carry on 210 attempts this season. Appalachian State likely won’t be able to stop him consistently, knowing how poorly they’ve done against the run.

Meanwhile, Nate Noel has been solid for the Mountainers. But he’s rushed for under five yards a carry and only has 139 attempts for 680 yards. Georgia State’s run defense will be good enough to help earn the victory.

NCAAF Pick: Georgia State -2 (-110) at Unibet

Pittsburgh Panthers vs. Syracuse Orange

Saturday, November 11, 2023 – 03:30 PM ET at Yankee Stadium

The AI Model suggests Pittsburgh and Syracuse will combine for 49 points in a game at Yankee Stadium. With the total currently at 37.5, the Over is absolutely the play for this game.

The Pittsburgh Panthers have only won one game in their last five. They’re sitting at 2-7 on the year and have scored no more than 17 points in each of their last three games. But they’re facing a Syracuse team that has allowed at least 31 points in four of their last five games.

Good News for the Panthers

Pittsburgh has some potential on Sunday. The offense made a switch at quarterback earlier in the season. Christian Veilleux, the sophomore, is currently getting the starting reps at quarterback. He’s thrown for at least 244 yards in two of the last three games. However, against Notre Dame, he really struggled with four interceptions a couple of weeks ago.

Thankfully, Syracuse isn’t Notre Dame. The Orange have lost five straight games after beginning the season 4-0. They’ve been horrible defensively. Syracuse doesn’t have an effective pass rush and continues to struggle against ACC opponents. This is a good spot for Pittsburgh to flex its muscles on offense.

Meanwhile, Syracuse didn’t have Garrett Shrader last weekend. They’ll likely roll with Carlos Del-Rio Wilson again this weekend. Carlos Del Rio-Wilson had as bad of a game as Veilleux did against Notre Dame. But Veilleux bounced back.

Rio-Wilson should do the same for Syracuse against one of the worst tackling teams in the ACC.

Let’s back the Over in this one.

NCAAF Pick: Over 37.5 (-110) at BetRivers
